Title: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: libert19 on May 21, 2023, 11:13:38 AM People looking for non-custodial betting platform may be interested in BetSwirl.
There are currently four games available, namely Dice, CoinToss, Roulette, and Russian Roulette. Bets can be placed using Matic, Avax, BNB on their respective chains and using ETH on Arbitrum One network. You can bet using $BETS token too which is native token of the platform, plus with some other less popular ones. Can try out the platform with testnets (https://documentation.betswirl.com/demo) of above chains as well. Documentation: https://documentation.betswirl.com/ Website: https://www.betswirl.com/ Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with BetSwirl. Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: piebeyb on May 21, 2023, 11:39:06 AM I like the look of this web3 betting website and platform, but I might try to test the game with testnet funds, it seems this gambling platform has a token called BETS and it's already traded on some DEX exchange, I think there should be an official thread from the Bets team to promote the gambling platform in this forum.
If you represent the team, it's good to make the ANN thread better by adding a good image design, but if you only introduce this gambling platform I hope you stay active to provide any updates about this gambling platform site, I will try it later it looks like all bets go through smart contracts so they look more fair and fun. let's try that ;) Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: libert19 on May 21, 2023, 12:12:28 PM I like the look of this web3 betting website and platform, but I might try to test the game with testnet funds, it seems this gambling platform has a token called BETS and it's already traded on some DEX exchange, I think there should be an official thread from the Bets team to promote the gambling platform in this forum. I don’t see Bitcoin as one of the payment option when browsing the casino so I’m sure that topic will be move on altcoin discussion or you can manually move this topic where it belong.
I’m surprised that the casino games included a background sounds. It makes the game more lively and the UI is very sleek which makes playing the games so fun. Nice find here. I will buy some tokens just to make sure I won’t miss out here in case this casino explode. I have reservations about playing in this casino until the developers of the platform go here and make their own announcement. Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: Cantsay on May 21, 2023, 01:29:49 PM Approved "eGaming-Curaçao license" that's very nice.
The web design is very cool, I have even started the site yet I'm already being entertained with some cool animations, the sounds thye make when you click on any icons most especially the adjusment bar. The dev really took their time in designing the webpage and I really commend them for that. I might try the site some other time when I'm less busy because I'm now curious to see how it works, if the landing page could be like that how then will the main casino be? I have no relation with this site, just sharing it here. My writing always sounds like I may be affiliated with what I write. Lol. When I first saw the thread and you as the Op I thought perhaps you were paid to post this for them or you were their representative here on bitcointalk because I have read most of your post in some other threads but never I have thought of this; I bet if you hadn't made this comment i would still have the mindset that this was an ANN. Yes it is gambling related but he is also correct that this board is designed to talk about more specific gambling which is bitcoin gambling. As we all can see here, a topic which is discussing about casino but the casino is not accepting bitcoin as one of the payment method then it should be moved to Altcoin discussion and if the OP is official rep of the casino then it will be moved to Service Announcement (altcoins) One more thing as you are not part of the casino, I think you should put a disclaimer on your opening post as if you do not put any disclaimer then most people will think that you are hired or you are part of the casino and you should be responsible in answering any question as well as responsible for any issue. Have you had any problems playing on this casino platform? it looks okay and the good thing about this platform is that if you're going to use matic, you're going to use it as well in terms of betting of course, which is also equal too. I'll try to play that diswik, how much is the minimum deposit there OP is 10$ so it's okay? as long as I deposit, thanks for sharing, I believe that web3 casino is also okay. Yes this is indeed quite interesting, overall the charm of playing is quite pleasant with the appearance of UI that spoil the eyes in the game, but unfortunately Bitcoin does not become a gambling option on this platform, it makes me disappointed, however we cannot deny how the reputation and popularity of Bitcoin anywhere.I’m surprised that the casino games included a background sounds. Having a Curacao license to operate, and yes I still find that I have to do KYC when using a deposit or large withdrawal. I would sure love to try the casino out though, and also look at their token to seen if I can invest in it. @op, please share your experiences with this casino with us here, I believe you've used the casino before sharing it with us here, and again, maybe you can reach out to the owner(s) of this casino and advice them to official announce the casino on this forum. Can I try testing this platform with Bitcoin testnet coins or only with altcoins?I understand why people are making gambling platforms like this with other coins to save on transaction fees, but there should always have option to bet with bitcoin, because few years in future many of altcoins wont even exist anymore. I don't say anything at this time about this casino I will update when I will use. This will be good if the official team will make a thread and we will discuss the bugs and they will try hard to fix. Than this platform will increase its popularity day by day. :)

The benefits of running their own campaign will be useful as they might get many new users with those promotions.

Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: Slow death on May 22, 2023, 09:59:08 AM I hope that people before creating an account in this casino pay attention to some things like:
1 - the casino domain was registered a long time ago and the casino's twitter account was created in June 2021 I'm going to focus on these two points now and then move on to the second point. about casino domain: Expires On: 2023-09-05 Registered On: 2020-09-05 Updated On: 2022-08-10 source: https://who.is/whois/betswirl.com and their twitter account: Joined June 2021 592 Following and 17.9K Followers source: https://twitter.com/BetSwirl now go to google in the search part write: " betswirl.com " or " betswirl.com review ", yes you will not find Not a single positive or negative comment about this casino just the domain and their twitter account indicate that It is a casino that has been operating for over 6 months, in case you think: "google has problems" then go straight to the biggest casino review sites: trustpilot.com casino.guru askgamblers.com and search directly on these 3 sites and you will see that you will not find anything either, so the question that I never get tired of asking is the following: how does anyone find this casino? so you will think: " they posted team members, they must be legitimate casino ", so let's see more about the team members, here comes point 2. 2 - casino team members https://documentation.betswirl.com/whitepaper/team - Romuald ( CEO ): Double hat experience with Technical and Digital Innovation lead on a global retail company, and 15 years of engineering background https://twitter.com/HogRomuald Joined June 2021 despite having created an account in June, he never posted a picture of his face, let's think: he created an account just for this project, he wanted to be anonymous, that's fine, let's see other team members - Nato ( Cofounder ): Full Stack Designer since 2011, adept at simple, clear and precise design. With over 150 clients including major accounts on all types of projects and deeply invested in crypto projects for 5 years with many contributions in this area https://twitter.com/nato12001 Joined January 2012 only has activity from October 2021 - Addy ( Launch manager ): FullStack Senior Lead Developer with 10+ years of experience working around software architecture, web development, and mobile applications for high traffic projects with +30M users monthly. Web3 Developer for two years, he contributed and launched different projects in the DeFi space with large enthusiasm for the blockchain ecosystem. https://twitter.com/Addy84940414 Joined January 2022 only has activity from Feb 7, 2022 - WolfOfAvax ( Game theorist ): WolfOfAvax used to play online poker for a living and is currently working as a business developer and advisor in crypto projects. He's responsible of the game theory and bankroll management on BetSwirl https://twitter.com/roumi123 Joined November 2011 only has activity from Oct 2, 2021 conclusion: clearly that we are facing a suspicious scheme, these twitter accounts have many chances of being purchased accounts Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: CryptSafe on May 22, 2023, 10:18:06 AM People looking for non-custodial betting platform may be interested in BetSwirl. From the looks, I noticed this is likely the first appearance of this casino here and I was wondering if you have had any experience with the casino before since you introduced it here for our use. Show us proof if you have used it and if not, would it not be fine you try it and give us a feedback as you introduced it here to us. You put up a disclaimer dissociating yourself from the casino as a team member or affiliate but you brought the awareness of the casino here. Would it not be nice you call the attention of the casino to this platform so they could come identify with members here and possibly tap into the publicity this platform creates. Nevertheless, since you are not in any ways affiliated to the casino which means you can not answer any questions on their behalf and from the looks, there are questions that needs some clarification from the casino and it would be nice you calling their attention here if possible let them make you their representative so you could go ahead and stand for them or they come create an account here and get things sorted out because no one would want to take such risk when it is clearly written on the walls. I would advise you do the needful so as to avoid unnecessary situations and occurrences. The benefits of running their own campaign will be useful as they might get many new users with those promotions. Looks like they should do more development work if they want to promote their site straight away on this bitcointalk forum as we can understand what the OP said that they only have four games available which are Dice, CoinToss, Roulette and Russian Roulette. If under these circumstances they enter a forum with representatives and promote the site then very few gamblers will be interested, moreover in this forum there are many gambling sites that may be much better so it will be difficult for them to adapt and have a community here before further development both in games and other parts. This is the first time I've heard of this site and it seems there haven't been many reviews from other gamblers about the site. But it seems that they are using another way of marketing not using this forum and it seems that there are also many active gamblers playing there, but actually it would also be better to promote it in this forum because many crypto communities are also gamblers in this forum at least they can get active gamblers and traffic from this forum .I think their team doesn't know this forum so they don't make promotions on this forum by creating threads or signature campaigns like other casinos, but maybe this thread can also attract enthusiasts to play even though it's not an official thread from them. There is no question of kyc, because there is no central party to hold your funds in first place. You place a bet, if you win, you get the funds instantly in your wallet. Decentralized gambling is really nice but the shortcoming is that players tend to pay the transaction fee for every bet made if I am not mistaken. Since the transaction of each bet is directly connected to the wallet, I believe in a long session of playing we might spend a handful amount for transactions fee or gas fees. Well, I think that is the cost players have to pay in order to have a non-KYC decentralized gambling platform. Anyway, @OP thanks for sharing another decentralized gambling platform I am sure this will become popular to those who seek not KYC in their gamblin activities. Your precautionary measures seems alright mate same I would advise anyone daring enough to try the casino. On a normal stands, it is not advisable to connect wallet to website you have no clues about. It is very dangerous to try or do it because if anything dare happens, all your assets and funds are all gone so one needs to be extremely careful when involved in such activities or situations as not to make a very big mistake. Just as you have said, creating a fresh new wallet should be the option if you must try such site as it cannot be trusted to funding it with assets of great importance and value otherwise you stand the chance of lossing it to scammers. Just as you have said, creating a fresh new wallet should be the option if you must try such site as it cannot be trusted to funding it with assets of great importance and value otherwise you stand the chance of lossing it to scammers. that's the dilemma of most, connecting their wallet to this kind of casino or bookie, even if it is noncustodial one. we don't know the backdoor or whatever they have to possibly siphon funds from your wallet. better be cautious rather than be sorry later on. so yeah, if you want to try this site, create a new wallet and just put small amount into it. you don't need to connect your main wallet with funds in it. just like with other web3 sites, we don't know exactly what they are playing here. scammers are everywhere so for me it is understandable to secure your funds first. As a human on this space, Securing your funds should be of utmost priority because we all know how porous this space is. Anything can happen even when you have not given access to any third party your wallet, there is still breach of wallet security not to talk of when you have connected your wallet directly and given a third party application to access your wallet with your permission to go ahead with actions so why would they not empty your funds there. In this kind of situation separation of wallet is absolutely the best. Use a new wallet with little funds not too much to worry about then connect if you are prepared to face the reality when it dawns on you. Be careful while engaging with this casino as no one has given any feedback of their experience yet. Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: dezoel on May 25, 2023, 03:30:51 PM Have you played at this casino yourself? I am asking because if this is a new casino i would be hesitant to connect my wallet to that site as there are a lot of scams where your coins are lost if you connect your wallet with scam sites. This is a no-go zone. I do like the web design and even plan on testing the site but when I saw that I had to connect my wallet to the site before I can start using it I had to pause. But if I'm ever to use the site I'd have to create a new wallet and fund it with a little amount to check if the site is a scam or not (although just a single test won't prove the genuinity of the site), the wallet creation is just a precaution. I think it's normal that a web3 site will ask for their user to connect their wallet first before they can gain access to it. If we still have doubts we can follow the advice that you gave there. If the casino seems fine. We shouldn't be confident easily but continue playing using small amounts on a dummy wallet. A couple of months or even a year, must be enough to have a full conclusion if the casino is safe or not. Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: merekamo on June 14, 2023, 12:18:08 AM If it will work smoothly than its use case will increase and people will get in to. It sounds good. I don't say anything at this time about this casino I will update when I will use. This will be good if the official team will make a thread and we will discuss the bugs and they will try hard to fix. Than this platform will increase its popularity day by day. :) If BetSwirl operates smoothly and provides a user-friendly experience, its use case and popularity could indeed increase. However, it's essential to consider other factors, such as security, fairness, and the platform's ability to adapt to changes in the crypto landscape. Suggestion of having an official thread for discussing bugs and improvements is a great idea, as it would allow the team to engage with the community and continuously improve the platform. I conclude is BetSwirl has the potential to become a popular non-custodial betting platform, but its success will depend on how well it addresses user needs and stays ahead of the competition.Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: mk4 on July 11, 2023, 03:51:32 AM I'm also skeptical on same like this where we need to connect our wallet to the platform directly. To many scam exist and will not trust new platform unless someone tried then give a feedback that they are legit and doing that is safe. Reminder: you can create whatever amount of Ethereum/EVM wallets you want. You can simply transfer some of your funds to a burner wallet, and try gambling using that wallet. They use Polygon/Avalanche/BNB/Arbitrum anyway — fees are very cheap. For now will stick to casino which use email for log in since for me this is more safer since using dummy mail for log in cannot harm us since they cannot take anything from that. They're safe until they get hacked or they conduct shotgun KYC.However, it's essential to consider other factors, such as security, fairness, and the platform's ability to adapt to changes in the crypto landscape. It's open-source.Title: Re: Betswirl: A Web3 Gambling Platform Post by: BetsOnDefi on July 17, 2023, 01:05:41 PM Hey there, this is gfk, a member of the BetSwirl team!
