Title: Are you still buying?
Post by: FiveG on May 21, 2023, 06:51:55 PM
This market is not favourable since 2021 till now like as of last two years that was a boom let's face the fact about, bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime, even most of you that have it before aren't buying more bitcoin recently because of the waving price dilemma. Think of it this way, if you sleep by 8pm and wake up by 5am to discover that bitcoin rise up to $50k, will is you said is scam? Or will you regret for not buying again? Believe me it will shock many people how the bull will react. Keep buying if trust bitcoin

This is the kind of post you should be writing and spreading everywhere other than this forum in my opinion; we are (I mean, on this exact forum) already absolutely convinced that Bitcoin is not a scam and many of us already have our own strategies in place, whether it be through spot buying, DCA, mining etc..

Let's also not forget that a small part of the community doesn't care about the BTC/FIAT value, and will simply tell you 1 BTC = 1 BTC, no matter when or no matter how the market is doing.

even most of you that have it before aren't buying more bitcoin recently because of the waving price dilemma.

No "price dilemma" when you are DCAing  :)

On 2021, it's actually a good year and one of the best bull runs that I've ever seen. But then, after the bull run it has to lie low and have to go through a bear market which was the one that you've said wasn't favourable at all.

Enough with saying or thinking that bitcoin is a scam if its price moves up. We're done with that and only those people that have no bitcoin are keep on saying that.

But most likely when we see the price of bitcoin moves up, we're regretting that we haven't bought when it's cheap. Those that have been holding, there's no problem if that part was missed.

Price isn't what decides if a certain cryptocurrency/asset is legit or not. There have been thousands and thousands of cryptocurrency scams that rose a lot in price solely because of hype — those price increases don't necessarily make them not-a-scam.

This market is not favourable since 2021 till now
Prior to 2021, the previous all time high was just shy of $20,000. Between then and now bitcoin has reached new ATHs, peaking at $68,000. This is a favorable market.

bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime, even most of you that have it before aren't buying more bitcoin recently because of the waving price dilemma.
I would rather buy at under $30,000 than to buy at $70,000. True bitcoiners are still buying and double down when the price goes down.

Think of it this way, if you sleep by 8pm and wake up by 5am to discover that bitcoin rise up to $50k, will is you said is scam?
A 100% increase overnight is shocking and not likely to happen, but that does not make bitcoin a scam.

How can you say that? From the lows of late last year and early this year, Bitcoin looks quite favorable to me now. It is like saying the roller coaster is no fun because you are currently on the uphill climb. Just wait for that exhilarating downhill rush, my friend! The cryptocurrency market is full of surprises, and who knows what exciting twists and turns await us in the future. So, buckle up and enjoy the ride!  :D

For those of us who missed out on the early Bitcoin investment, we believe that now is the moment to invest in Bitcoin because the price is relatively cheap and Bitcoin has a bright future ahead of it.

Some investors who previously had Bitcoin are still holding it patiently out of confidence, believing that this bear market is a passing fad that will soon pass and Bitcoin will be back on track to recoup its value.

How sure are you that bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of bitcoin buyers, I think you should back your post up with proof, and how sure are you that most of us are not buying bitcoin anymore, let me be honest with you, the only time I will stop buying bitcoin is when I don't have any extra cash with me, but if am having money that I know I won't be using for now, then I can never stop buying bitcoin no matter how low bitcoin price is, because I believe bitcoin will be grate once again, it might just take time and am ready to wait. Am sure the only people that will stop buying bitcoin are the once that are new to crypto space.

Why will I say bitcoin is a scam if bitcoin rise to $50k, it's normal to me and I will never regret why bitcoin rise, am not really satisfied with the amount of bitcoin am holding, but at least am holding bitcoin. The only people that will regret why they didn't buy are the once that think Bitcoin is a scam and the once that keep on saying bitcoin will dump more and they are waiting for it to dump before they buy.

It's wrong to speculate figures or things when you don't have concrete fact on it and make it or try to make it appears as the truth, many investors in crypto-currency do like times like this because it mean that can buy in on Bitcoin now that the price is down. I doubt if there is any experience member who would fear holding Bitcoin now going by the type of history Bitcoin has already created. By the way the halving of Bitcoin is coming up next year and many people has been anticipating for this and would be buying more Bitcoin now hoping the bull run would happen around the Bitcoin halving period.

In my opinion about that, I had said that after the last ATH of Bitcoin in 2021, it become bearish, giving people who are ready to buy more time to accumulate and wait while it prepares for another bull run that might give up another ATH. Although it may not likely give another ATH, but since Bitcoin is a store of value, any time the price drops, it's really time to buy because, as time passes, the value will increase, leading to a price increase too.

From the example you gave, no one needs to really regret anything if the price hits $50,000 any time soon. The reason being that they all had the chance to buy when the price was down, but they did not, so what they need to do is hold on for when the price drops, and they should buy if they truly wish to invest in Bitcoin.

Of course the market is not favorable because we are in a bear market. I don't know where you get your numbers that bitcoin buyer numbers has reduced? care to share your research? If not then you can see the data on bitcoin addresses here:

https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/addresses-holding-x-btc-by-year/

So it is growing despite the bear market. The best way to do is DCA and accumulate as many as you can before the eventual bull run next year.

It's always good to hodl bitcoin, aside that we need to be careful regarding profits, it's never a waste of money especially for the bitcoin community members who understands how bitcoin works. Halving is coming up soon, hodl or buying more is some of the best strategies for a now bearish cryptocurrency market. The bullish run could be massive or average, but it'll arrive and everyone will get rewarded according to the number of sats they have in their wallet.

The thing is that we can never have a stable bitcoin price and bitcoin can not continue in one direction trend and we must take advantage of the various market discounts as to buy the dip and wait for when the price will reflect that price benchmark you mention.

But on a contrary opinion, I do t think bitcoin have underperformed in the year 2023 since the price increased significantly.

We have to used to such movement I the BTC market as there have been a lot Of ups and down in the market but. That's the nature of Bitcoin and that is why BTC is referred to as a volatile asset.

But with all of that, if we can properly manage our DCA level at each point we will have a very good chance to make the best out of every market position.

Market not being favorable all depends on how you perceive the market. There are people who will boldly say the market has been in their favor since the 2021 last bull run. This is because they have studied the market, and both in bullish and bearish markets they always find a way to take profit, but that doesn't mean that they don't lose trades most times as well.

I've had it before, and I also sold it out before, and I'm fine with the selling price. Right now, I've put the past ATH aside, and my accumulation now is based on what I expect to see in the future and not just an assumption of what could happen.

I can never say it's a scam. This is because the nature of Bitcoin allows it to have a rapid move, and most times the price can't actually be predicted, so any form of price movement is allowed. I will only regret it if I don't have at least a few SATs to sell and celebrate the pump, and I won't be too angry if I am not fast enough to bag more; that could be very greedy of me.

Yes, that's the goal: to keep on accumulating till I reach my holding target, which I believe I will achieve no matter the price difference.

When people say it's too high to buy, I tend to ask what's the ATH. The price I recall keeps it at $69k. Now that's high when you try to compare with where we have the price now which is around $26.7k. Hence, there is little reason for one not to be actively buying bitcoin. We already hit rock bottom for the bearish market and ain't going to dip that much no more.

One reason why one might not want to buy aside from the fact that, your cared of another bearish fall or the fact that they aren't so sure of bitcoin is that, you've got no funds, spare funds.
For that, there have been a solution on how to go about investing and not have much issues. The idea is to DCA! Using dollar cost averaging to follow up your investing. It's one way to go about buying even at a high price.

Seeing such a boom in bitcoin prices will only surprise me slightly because I did not expect a 100% price growth.  I won't consider bitcoin a scam because I already believe in it and intend to invest in it. If the price increase comes as a surprise, DCA should alleviate the problem of not being able to buy while the price was very low.

It depends TBH.

Not favorable? Probably yes if you bought Bitcoin at it's peak. What if you're one of the many investors who are waiting for this time to happen? It will be more favorable for you because you will have the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price. Always take note that there's always opportunity in the crypto markets, and it all depends on you as an investor if you will grab it. Drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime? Probably because most of the buyers are the ones who don't have the courage to buy Bitcoin when it's going down because they are afraid to lose their money.

Think of it this way, if you sleep by 8pm and wake up by 5am to discover that bitcoin rise up to $50k, will is you said is scam? Or will you regret for not buying again? Believe me it will shock many people how the bull will react. Keep buying if trust bitcoin
I will wake up immediately because I know that your scenario will just be a dream, and in reality, it will never happen. :D

Kidding aside, I will not say that it will be a scam even though that thing will happen, but in reality it will not happen, or at least in an overnight. It might happen in a few weeks especially when the market is in a bull run. As for the bull run, I've seen the crypto market went into the bull run twice already (2017 & 2021). Did I felt shocked? Not at all. I didn't feel any happiness whatsoever during the last bull run, because I don't have plans on selling at that time. Turns out that it's my worst decision ever because I just let my potential profits slip. Instead of happiness, I felt disappointed on myself, but at the same time, it was a lesson learn.

Like the OP said, keep buying Bitcoin as long as you are trusting it. Bitcoin is more than a year away, and a few months after that, the bull run will happen (base on it's past cycles).

Bitcoin has not been favourable to some while some are busy making profits from the slightest opportunity. To begin with, I have noticed people tend to rush into Bitcoin when the price is very high and reduce when the price is low defiling the law of demand and supply that states that higher the price the lower the quantity demanded while the lower the price higher the quantity demanded. People who are more knowledged about Bitcoin buy BTC when the price is low as to make profit when the price rises, this kind of investment is also seen in the long time investors.

Bitcoin is just in it's present, if you know the past of Bitcoin and compare it with the present it will give a you clearer vision of the future of Bitcoin and it's price.

Bitcoin can't be a scam no matter the price it hits, actually some of us here in this forum even pray it gets to such level/ price and I don't think I will have a regret since I don't regret not having a Bitcoin when it was 1$ I will not still regret it now.

With the little know I have about Bitcoin I will keep trusting in it.

A bear market is bad for newbies but it is good for veteran traders and investors. They wait for bear market to take advantage and get richer months later when a bull market comes.

Halving will come in 2024, stay tuned and tie your seat belt.

Rising to $50k from what price? From $48k  ;D

Bitcoin can have its good rise but it won't be x5, x10, x20 or x100 after 24 hours like shitcoins. With its biggest marketcap in cryptocurrency market, it is impossible for Bitcoin to have such magic rises like altcoins or scam coins with smaller marketcap and smaller trading volume.

You will not generalize that the market has not been favorable. This is because some people have made huge profits from the Bitcoin market. People that bought last year when the price was low might have made 100% profit. I don't also believe that the price drop has drastically reduced the number of buyers because, for those who understand the market, this is the best time to buy. I have always believed that due to the uniqueness of Bitcoin, it will always increase in value. So I will not be surprised if it gets to any price because it has such potential.

Although the current high price of Bitcoin may seem like a red flag, it is important to note that this does not automatically render Bitcoin a scam. While it is true that Bitcoin's value may not increase overnight, it is still a profitable currency that has consistently proven its potential to offer long-term financial gains to investors.

Many people have profited from Bitcoin over the years, which should be enough evidence to dismiss the notion of it being a scam. It is understandable that those who did not invest in Bitcoin during a phase of price reduction might perceive it as fraudulent, but it is crucial to recognize the big picture, and how Bitcoin remains one of the most profitable cryptocurrencies available.

Ultimately, Bitcoin's continued upward trajectory and its resilience to market fluctuations make it a reliable investment opportunity for individuals looking to increase their financial portfolios.

The year 2021 was a bull market for the price of Bitcoin which saw the greatest growth then. The Bitcoin market then fell again and the market then turned into a bear market. and in the last two years the Bitcoin market has fallen so much that no one expected but in 2023 the market is going up a bit. And the position the market is in right now is definitely slowly trying to settle into a full-fledged equilibrium. But most of the investors have faith in Bitcoin and it can never be a scam. and if you have confidence in Bitcoin and are interested in investing then surely your future will be bright. The Bitcoin market will once again turn from a bear market to a bull market in 2024. So I say have faith in Bitcoin and be patient and buy.

Well, it can't deny that some are leaving Bitcoin but this is because they found themselves not comfortable with this. Some are quitting but many are coming and trusting Bitcoin.

Let us assume that you are right, then why do we see Bitcoin didn't turn to $20k, $10k, or ZERO? This means that Bitcoin is growing and big the opposite of what is in your assumption.

You are absolutely right that there is a panic situation in the market right now, the buyers are very few and the volume is not visible. This is often done before the bull season in which people sell their bitcoins or crypto currencies. whales and big investors take advantage of such a situation and buy.

Totally agree with you that people who have complete knowledge about Bitcoin and understand the importance of Bitcoin buy more in such a situation. I think if someone has capital, this is a great opportunity for him.

I've seen Bitcoin at $16k where people were very pessimistic that the price of Bitcoin could fall further and then everyone saw Bitcoin hit $30k.

Unset from the beginning mate, I had known it that there would be a time when the world would move to Start making use of digital currency and atlast Bitcoin came as the answer and also the first digital currency to be developed. Since then I had no worries about bitcoin volatility because I know definitely it would get somewhere. So therefore buying more of it is the only option since it is low now. This is the advantage at hand to make good use of while bagging more bitcoin.
As a full bitcoin enthusiasts, I believe bitcoin would definitely make it to being accepted globally as a means of exchange or digital currency for the sales and purchase of goods and services.

The price may also be lower than it is currently if bitcoin continues to crash. Buying in stages at this time is the best thing to do. Starting to save Bitcoin and holding for the long term won't hurt. How can you be silent when the price is getting cheaper, this is the best opportunity. Bitcoin still has a long way to go, this is only the beginning of the growth of Bitcoin and the crypto ecosystem.
But keep in mind that risks will definitely occur, manage them properly and make sure everything is under control.

Bitcoin is volatile in nature as we all know and in either the bull or bear market, there is always an advantage for investors. Like you said that bitcoin price has gone dip,do you know that this is the best time to accumulate more bitcoin for yourself because the price might shoot up high and this price presently might be the lowest price we will see. We shouldn't get discouraged on bitcoin is the price drops drastically, instead let's see it as an opportunity to accumulate more coins for a better tomorrow.

Remember buy when the price is dip and hold for long,in order for you not to panic and sell of out from fear.

It will not be a shock to me when the price of BTC hit $50 over night, because I'm fully prepared to see that kind of price before the end of this year 2023. Am not buying BTC since the price has increased higher early last month to alert other holders to get ready for the massive pumping that is about to take place in the crypto market. I guess, this is the season of holding and endure the current price so that you will not regret when other people that endure are celebrating their good results in the community. Many people are waiting for the price to return back to $30 before they will start thinking whether to sell now or wait for the price to increase to $50 before they can sell.

If I sleep by this night and wakes tomorrow to discover that bitcoin has gotten to 50 thousand dollars, I would not panic but rather I will have to call my friend to tell him to sell his Bitcoin. He bought somewhere 40 thousand dollars and the bear market fell on him. And I have encouraged him to hold since then, and he is holding and I believe he has given up and he does not believe that bitcoin will bring back his capital. But with the recent movements that bitcoin touched 30k, he saw hopes again in bitcoin. I still encouraged him not to sell since he is not in dare need of the money. So whenever Bitcoin makes fifty thousand dollars. I will call him to sell.

It's 2023, I don't think anyone still thinks bitcoin is scam, most people are just not interested due to a myriad of reasons.

And yes I agree with you, from the predictions I've been seeing online, the next bull run will really shock most people. Especially those that are sleeping on bitcoin

Although the current high price of Bitcoin may seem like a red flag, it is important to note that this does not automatically render Bitcoin a scam.

The current high price of Bitcoin, you said?
The price of Bitcoin now compares to its all-time high, which among them are you to classify as something that's extremely high, up to theextent of saying that it's a red flag for Bitcoin?

This is as a result of your text being 100% AI-generated, since the AI gives you information based on their findings online. I guess it was as a result of not compelling the price of Bitcoin correctly.

I actually don't think anyone will see Bitcoin as fraud or a scam unless they have been perceiving it as a Ponzi scheme from the very beginning. If not, a true Bitcoiner will never see Bitcoin as a scam, no matter the price difference; there is always hope for a better price move.

It’s 2023, and am sure lots of people still believe bitcoin is a scam, they believe bitcoin might just vanish in a day and everyone holding bitcoin will be left with nothing, most of them believe it’s a scam because they keep on saying why will you be spending a currency that you can’t see, you can only see figures.

And yes I agree with you, from the predictions I've been seeing online, the next bull run will really shock most people. Especially those that are sleeping on bitcoin

Since I am aware of the bear market and bull run periods in the bitcoin market due to its volatility, what is happening to the price of bitcoin now, approximately from two years ago now, doesn't affect me in the slightest.Since I believe we are in a bear market and it will eventually end one and be bull run turn, I never have any negative thoughts about my Bitcoin investments I know it turn by turn. Instead, I always try to find ways to increase my income so I can buy more bitcoin and store them in wallets.

In light of the me some amount of Bitcoin I currently own, if I go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning to learn that the price of Bitcoin has increased to $50,000, I will simply smile because of the little Bitcoin. Anyone who notices the surprise surge in the price of Bitcoin I refer to it as a scam doesn't understand Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. After all, they should know that the price of Bitcoin is erratic, and they should be able to assume that the larger the demand, the higher the price will grow.I won't ever regret not purchasing Bitcoin at the moment if its price climbs further because I've accumulated enough to cover any potential losses, regret are for those people that have the opportunity and they refuses to utilize it.

I was not able to catch your context. But i think you are convincing others to buy BTC. Well, if that's the point then you can come up with some more good ideas and strategies. Like, the upcoming Halving in April 2024 after which a new bull run will start and you were talking about Decrement in BTC price from its last ATH.

So, you should understand the fact that after every bull run, there comes a bullish run too. in which the price of BTC drops consistently. That's why the price was decreasing and it provides great chances to enter the market. Well, many accumulated BTC in that phase and wait for the next bull run so that they can make huge profits and those holders are not easy to be broken by market sentiments.

Another thing is how can you say that, the number of buyers is dropping. have you not read the stats that the adoption of BTC is increasing day by day? Many traditional people are now convinced to buy, hold, and trade BTC so that they can also make money. For example, recently, i read a post about the number of BTC holders becoming 1 Million (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452852.msg62262874#msg62262874) and each holder holds at least 1 BTC. which means there is 1 million BTC in holding.

When market is unfavourable, it is the best time to buy more bitcoin because at that point, you are buying at a discount price, also we can't say that bitcoin has been down since 2021 because bitcoin has done some positive movement in this year alone when BTC price touched 30k and even above in the price.

Buy all the same, we still have some set of people who does not make extra arrangement to purchase Bitcoin at whatever time the opportunity presents if

I have noticed people tend to rush into Bitcoin when the price is very high and reduce when the price is low defiling the law of demand and supply that states that higher the price the lower the quantity demanded while the lower the price higher the quantity demanded.
Yes, you are absolutely correct on this very statement of yours, because the higher the price of Bitcoin, the more people tend to buy hoping it's price will increase more, they sell to make profit, and likewise same happen when the price of Bitcoin falls, popularly known as "Bear market" people tend to lose interest due to fear that it's value may fall again on they end up losing their capital investment,

Why not?
as long as we understand how Bitcoin works and what will happen commonly to Bitcoin, I am still buying it. Price of Bitcoin is always volatile, fluctuating. Sometimes, it can rise up easily on several hours and will drop again dramatically in few minutes later. This has been happening several times, no need to surprise.

But, for long term holders, who are willing to do DCA, this dropped market during the bearish era for several years is a good time tondo DCA, to add more Bitcoin again and again, no worry about it. because Bitcoin is always a trusted worthy asset for long term investment, for me, ywah it is.

Bitcoin will not just rise up as it is immediately it takes a lot of process, days and price actions if you make a plot with the market right now there's an upcoming halving and people grab this opportunity to accumulate as possible it depends if long term or short term investment they have a guide which is the technical analysis if you have this it's more easier to you to check what's the possible next price movement so you can entry and exit easily with a plan and not greedy to hold and panic selling.

Maybe for those who don't know about the journey even from the movement of Bitcoin and then they choose to leave it, and vice versa for those who just came to gain knowledge of course they will jump in and believe it, now keep buying because Bitcoin will go up.

The smart people in crypto are those praying for this bear market to be around for a long period of time, because all that matters to them is DCAing, where as some people are praying for the come back of the bull market, they are fed up already with this bear market, smart people already have their plan in motion and people like OP will end up giving up if this bear market last more longer, imagine Bitcoin going down to 15,000$, many people will believe it's over for this crypto market, the same thing happens in 2020.

In 2019, Bitcoin is slowly recovering and people felt at ease with the long term bear market since 2018, so 2019 brought back the confidence, but on getting into 2020 the covid-19 strikes hard and Bitcoin dipped even more, many people walked away and some are screaming it's over for crypto..

Once we get to that crossroad once again, I except people to walk out of crypto, that's where the transfer of wealth from the weak to the strong will happen.

Its not favorable for those people who bought at more higher price since they lost a lot of dollars in value especially if they own 1BTC or even more higher. But for other who always trade bitcoin maybe those negative things like price drop is not main concern by this people. Also whatever figure bitcoin reach its still a good buy, its just people need to have prolong their patience if they want to see a good result since bitcoin is for long term and not for short term investment if you want to see or earn big profits with this coin.

I saw a thread on this forum where someone predicted the next bull run to be sometime around mid 2024, I'm still yet to make research on this.

I don't know, but I don't really see bitcoin going any lower than 25k. So people that are waiting on bitcoin to drop are just wasting their time. The next bull run I coming soon, and bitcoin will continue to rise gradually till that time.

Although there's a big chance for it that bull run might happen due to halving effect, still we need to be cautious and don't caught up with bull traps set by those manipulators.

If you can able to hold at that time maybe that year is perfect time to do it to see if you will get a good result. But if you are a weak hands and a total newbie on cryptocurrency much better if you take all things slow and just watch then learn on how the market reacts at that time.

The number of buyers must have reduced because many people are not committed investors and many people that started investing in bitcoins have faced some kind of challenge that has either reduced how they invest in bitcoins or stopped them completely from investing. These challenges do not always concern Bitcoin or come from the news around it, these challenges may just be some kind of life challenge. Staying committed to investing is not something everyone can do.

Certainly my friend. Good assumption, about someone's condition like the title of your post Are you still buying? I think the answer is 100% yes. But that applies to those who still have fresh money and for some people, maybe the moment of the price drop in this one month has become an obstacle in accumulating more assets in their portfolio. They can only see it for one reason or another. Yes. some take risks for this and some survive.

2021 that you mentioned was also the period the boom happened. So, you can't say the market wasn't favourable. What we should all know or take cognizant of is that market price is about upward and downward movements.

People like me may not be buying now but that isn't because we're scared of buying. It's simply because we've run out of cash to stock up on DCA. If there's any better time to buy, it's now and this year. A pre-halving year for Bitcoin is full of promises. 2024 is the halving year. We shouldn't miss out on it now, except we want to chase price when it begins to soar. I'm not trying to FOMO here. Just trying to put out what I've observed over the years of being in this industry.

What facts do you mean, you need valid data to prove Bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of buyers over time. If you talk about the growth of Bitcoin from year to year we can understand it because Bitcoin is increasingly attracting the interest of people, companies and countries. Who would have thought that El Salvador would adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender in their country. Bitcoin will continue to have value as long as there is demand and supply, the interest of investors will continue to grow because they are very sure that Bitcoin will become a profitable asset.

How can something you've been expecting to go up in price in a short or long period turn out to be a scam to you? Just that it became more expensive than you anticipated at a time when you least expected it.

Nobody can accurately predict whether the price of Bitcoin is going up or down, but that doesn't mean that there aren't many investors investing in bitcoin in light of that. Many crypto investors are purchasing bitcoin the way they can. Never forget that even if the price of bitcoin rises today, investors will still be buying it at a premium price.

The cryptocurrency market is full of surprises, and who knows what exciting twists and turns await us in the future. So, buckle up and enjoy the ride!  :D
Yeah, I believe the price of bitcoin was around $30K earlier this year, so I'm curious why the author claimed that the price has remained the same since 2021. I believe the author is discouraged by how the price of bitcoin fluctuates, which is why he is saying that, but trust me, the bull run will soon arrive. If you genuinely believe that the price of bitcoin will increase, then why did you anticipate it to do so in such a short amount of time? As a bitcoin investor, you must understand that if the price of bitcoin drops, that is the time to buy and hold until the bull market returns.

That's why it is advisable not to buy a lump sum during the bull market, especially if you are new to buying Bitcoin and you haven't developed the patience to hodl for a long time. Next time, buy Bitcoin using the DCA strategy, it is basically the most comfortable way to accumulate Bitcoins. Having said that, you'd have to hodl what you have already bought, do not sell at a loss, unless you are in dire need of the money, but if you are not, be patient, sooner or later the price would appreciate and you'd be able to make ROI.

Bitcoin remains one of the most popular digital assets and is powered by innovative blockchain technology. If you believe in its long-term potential, buying Bitcoin regularly can be a wise strategy. Bitcoin is a key to fulfilling that golden dream. Which would not be possible in such a short period of time. Those who have been collecting bitcoins for a long time and who have kept their faith in any negative situation in the market, will eventually get that golden opportunity. The current price of Bitcoin is very favorable for buying and those who take advantage and utilize the opportunity will definitely be profitable. Almost everyone knows about the ups and downs of Bitcoin. As it has no fixed limits anything can be possible at any time. Those who trust in Bitcoin will be able to get more than they expect from Bitcoin.

The crowd are always captivated by financial innovations that seems too charitable to be true or that offers jaw drop promising rewards only to end up being  scammed and then spend all their life generalizing. For those that have bitcoin over the years knows very well that bitcoin has gone beyond the process of scrutiny for if it's a scam project or not. So whatever the case might be about the price value of bitcoin today hitting high as $50k is something not new or surprising as the last ATH was above $50k.

If today the price is not looking favourable as anyone might have expected, taking advantage of the situation is by DCAing as a way to accumulate much higher profit when ever the bull run eventually takes place.

I’m always buying when the price is so far down from the all time high. We are in an economic downturn yet the price is still above $25000, it’s incredible really.

Obviously it depends what your plan is. If you don’t want to sell anything for many years then it’s fine to continue buying without caring too much about the price. If you plan to sell after the next halving then you still have some time to buy but the price might run away from you if you don’t hurry up.

If I can vividly remember from last year 2022 till now the crypto market is very good and favourable to buy and invest. So I don't know which time do you want to buy bitcoin if this not the best time for you to buy.

If anyone is buying now, the person will never regret in the nearest future. For my believe, people buy bitcoin more than before. There transaction rate was congested because of the demand was higher than the supply.

And until now I think it's still worth buying considering the market is also still in a correction state, and it's under $30k, in this state it's still a low market, we think buying now will have bright side effects later day later, so now continue to buy if you want to see such a significant change.

Who told you that the price of bitcoin have not been favourable, you can't just speak for everyone in the market. If  you you think that the market have not been good  for you, their are some people it has really been favourable to them. In 2020 the price of bitcoin got to the bottom which it was around $15k, for those who bought in this price and who  are still hodling till date don't  you think this is a good profit. The market is always favourable if you can have patience to  hodl, holders don't regret for their decision of hodling .

On the contrary I would say this is best time for investment because at these times it's available at discounted rates so grab this chance. But there are people thinking opposite that it would not rise and panic sell which turns out to be their mistake. So think wisely and invest but keep it safe with you for a long term if you need actual returns. The difference of opinion is what makes you provide that profit ratio in your portfolio.

I don't think i would ever regret investing in bitcoin because i made this decision myself from the first time. There's nothing on it for me to see the price is dumping and feel bad no, I know this is what it is when it is right time the price will pump up and we all believe that will happen. Yeah, that is it, the fact that we cannot predict about the market and future in as long as bitcoin is still available nothing will stop me from buying bitcoin. I won't have any regrets or second thoughts about continuing to buy bitcoin.

I don't know so much about bitcoin  but I know that a core bitcoin believer see s this period as one of the best because it helps them to buy more in the dip and they always want to buy more bitcoin  at every stance they get to buy it.
Whoever is scared to buy bitcoin  now thats its still in the dip, isn't a core holder but maybe a seasonal holder who wants to .ame profit at every spike movement of the market.  I personally  don't have so much in my wallet but believe me that I always want to buy with every spare money that I have and some times I every have some unnecessary  regrets for missing out of bitcoin  when it was absolutely nothing and that is why I'm trybro starve my distractions today and feed my focus on hodling for tomorrow.

Buying bitcoin and accumulating them on dips is the best advice, but you may need to adjust your strategy so that your plans for building a portfolio are less likely to be losing out than winning. I mean, you can still consider implementing DCA when you want to accumulate bitcoins, so as well as your portfolio growing you will get a much better low average purchase price.

They don't need to spend $1m a day on bitcoins on an accumulation plan, but you can combine those strategies to get low prices on every dip. This is a good time to do this, so you need to be experienced enough and also have good financial standing to carry out this plan.

Experience will set them apart, and therefore budget will also influence your plans.

I prefer to stick to the local method of holding bitcoin that I feel more save and secure using it and I also feel it is convenient  for me.doi g it the traditional way.
I don't know of what strategy  you need to just but i don't think buying the dip and holding  for a longer time requires any special skills but rather just buying the dip at the current market and hodling.

Of course. As long as our goal is to hold Bitcoin at least until it reaches our target price, then we don't need to panic about the current market conditions. This will not change much, we will continue to experience various ups and downs of the market as usual. If we get a big FUD, Bitcoin will drop again and it is hoped that when it drops, we can buy Bitcoin on a DCA basis, so that at least we can take advantage of every moment to make a profit.

This is not the first time we are seeing such a market for a long time. In fact, the market is better now compared to 2022. Bitcoin will hit All time high, then it will go for correction. It will go sideways for a while and then pump again. It's a common thing for bitcoin. If you have watched how Bitcoin works enough, it's not a mystery. The crypto market gets affected by positive and negative news. If you are in crypto, you should be aware of those things. You can do your own research before you buy or sell your Bitcoin. Some whales or some companies can manipulate the market. It would be best to be careful about the market movement to avoid loss.

Or will you regret for not buying again? Believe me it will shock many people how the bull will react. Keep buying if trust bitcoin
No. I won't regret that. I already hold a good portion of Bitcoin and continue accumulating Bitcoin from my earnings. I don't remember when the last time I bought Bitcoin. I don't buy Bitcoin anymore. I earn Bitcoin. I receive my salary in Bitcoin. I make money from the signature campaign and receive the payment in Bitcoin.

Anybody thinking Bitcoin won't rise again lacks experience and that's one of the major problem of most (so called investors) in the industry. They enter the market and get lucky with an investment and they begin to think they know better. Bitcoin is in a bear market at the moment so we can expect the price to dip whenever there's a bad news concerning the industry like now that we have the SEC sueing Binance and Coinbase exchange. Those are the two biggest exchange in the industry so In situations like this it's okay for Bitcoin to take some hit and drop in price but that doesn't mean the market won't recover ever against.

The market will recover and it'll will happen so fast that you might miss it that's why it's best you make your investments now that the market is in red and everybody is panicking. When you buy now you are assured of getting bitcoin at a very lower price than those who will buy later. There has not been a time when after the bear market that Bitcoin didn't recover, it has always done so and it'll happen again because that's the cycle of the market. Bitcoin block reward halving will come and the interest in the market will increase rapidly, if you didn't invest now by then it might be too late (concerning you're thinking of making profits by selling after the bull market).

Since no one can accurately predict the further movement of the bitcoin price, you cannot argue that today's price is the minimum. As we know, the price may once again update its minimum price this year before the next growth cycle begins. It is possible that the correct buying strategy in this case should be DCA.

Oh of course! This is actually a great time to buy. This is an opportunity to pick up some coins at a discount and potentially make a nice profit in the long run. But you know what's funny? Some people have the opposite mindset. They thought the price would never go up again and started to panic sell and that was a big mistake. They missed the opportunity to buy low and sell high later on.

Take advantage of these discounted prices, but also keep in mind that crypto investments are usually more suitable for the long term. If you're looking for true returns, it's best to hold on to your coins and give them time to develop. everyone has their own opinion and strategy when it comes to investing and I'm waiting for BTC at $25,600.

If anyone is buying now, the person will never regret in the nearest future. For my believe, people buy bitcoin more than before. There transaction rate was congested because of the demand was higher than the supply.
If you are talking about the recent congestion, then it was because of Ordinals and their insriptions.

Having said that, most of the replies i'm reading is sounding more like Bitcoin is a get rich scheme, and some people are basically advising others to buy now and get rich later. Bitcoin definitely appreciates in value in the long term, but people still have to be cautious, they should invest only what they can afford to lose, and they must garner enough Bitcoin knowledge, if not they'll prolly lose their Bitcoin to scammers.

Other than this forum? Why this you say this @iwantmyhomepaidwithbtc2? Many newbies coming on here knows nothing about Bitcoin, some are referred here buy search engines like google and bing and some are referred by friends that knows a friend, we shouldn't make up our mind not to share such information because we all understand Bitcoin, some people don't understand Bitcoin at all and they are on this forum.

I have two students that got interested in crypto because of meme coin, they have heard about Bitcoin but they are not motivated to do any research about it, but when they hear about shiba inu turning people into millionaires that want another meme coin, I was the one that lectured them and told them about the differences and which is safer than the other.

Some people stopped believing in Bitcoin when the dips are continuously happening, they need such post to understand that selling their Bitcoin is not the solution, they are simply selling their Bitcoin to those who caused the havoc in the market.

They are simply stealing Bitcoin from weak holders, that's all.

Considering the current time, it is definitely proper time to buy Bitcoin. This can be a golden opportunity for those who have been waiting to buy Bitcoin for a long time. Bitcoin price is now at $25900 which is the lowest position in several months. One thing that almost everyone knows that Binance is passing a bad time with SEC allegation which has temporarily affected the entire crypto market. But this kind of incident happens often, those who believe in BTC some of them try to buy from the dip. Those who are interested in buying Bitcoin must not miss this opportunity. Proper use of time is the perfect initiative for this market.

I agree it was still a good opportunity but sadly to say that they missed buying Bitcoin when it was just $18k. It is somewhat like missing the trend while it was on the top light but yes, buying while on the market corrections seems still a good decision.

And talking about the SEC and Binance issue, we just let the Binance team solve it. But this won't affect the trust in Bitcoin as only BNB got in trouble. Indeed it was not only Binance exchange that exist in the market that is why there is no need to create panic and upload our coins, instead hold.

it also depends on the coins to buy. the stronger the coins purchased, the calmer their thoughts will be on the market situation. so there will be no panic.
when we invest in the right assets, then we won't panic easily when the price moves fast enough. because it will foster confidence in the investment being made. it doesn't matter if the price is falling, because there will be an increase in the future.
if you collect Bitcoins at a certain price, then you plan for a better long term.

That is a fact that most investors are aware of, but the biggest problem they face is not fighting market volatility but fighting themselves. Generally they know the bitcoin price will recover even after big dump in price, but they can't help but panic sell. Their self-control and emotion about the market doesn't help much, so those are some of the reasons why they lose instead of gain.

When someone decides to invest in the long term, they are expected to be able to maintain their interest in holding assets and ignore market volatility. Stay to the plan and it's always good to accumulate. Those are some of the most common advice that have often been said.

You still have ONE Bitcoin, but its value has dropped to $5,000, and you have lost $5,000 from your initial investment. On the other side, if the value rises to $100,000, you still have one Bitcoin and are $100,000 richer. This scenario is more likely because Bitcoin, like many other cryptocurrencies, will climb. To be successful, divide the investment into numerous well-researched alternative Coins in order to spread the risk and profit from the increase of other Coins.

We don't have to relent because the market is down now and we can always buy if we have the funds to do so. We all see the market from different angles making us have different opinions when we analyze the market. Since the way we reason is very different, we can always utilize out knowledge to make more money from the market depending on whatever ways we want to do it. The Market will some be on a bull trend because this down market can not continue like this. We should expect a change in trend soon by the time we get close to the end of the year.

At this time where the market is still in correction we don't waste time continuing to do DCA and buying while piling on at this time, Invest in the long term, and our goal so far has been long term and want to see something better in the next few months and also year after year. and this goes back to someone's point of view in analyzing the market because they might prefer to hold at this time.

Bitcoin in particular has definitely made a name for itself as a dominant participant in the market for cryptocurrencies. Despite several obstacles Bitcoin has been able to win over traders and investors. Although it may be in a fall right now after hitting an all time high in 2021 this could be a good time to make an investment. Since 2020 I have personally been purchasing bitcoin and I still do. For long term investment using the DCA strategy appears to be a wise choice. Notably more people are adopting cryptocurrencies as a result of their rising acceptance and the success of well established coins like Bitcoin. Given the confidence exhibited in the market by notable investor i continue to believe that people will continue to invest even if the bitcoin market experiences further falls.

It is very good time to buy, in my opinion.  One of the key features of bitcoin is its wide distribution and availability. But over time, the price became too high for most people with the desire to own bitcoin to be able to do so. Therefore, such periods of prolonged decline and rollback are needed in order to be able to replenish your reserves or enter the market if you are a beginner. I see situations like this as a perspective that didn’t exist for me personally when Bitcoin was at 50 and up.

Usually, buying volume increases when there is a market correction as people take advantage of the situation. That is why it never takes that low price too long as it pumps back high again due to an increase of demand. This is the reason why it moves like a roller coaster it drops and pumps due to the unstable market demand and this is how it works which makes people appreciate it and trusted it most because they'll know it recovers after corrections.
So every time there is a correction, investors are buying more, holding, and then selling when it pumps. That is how the market looks like and it never changes since before.

In my opinion, there is only one formula in investing. Many people fail in investing not because they don't study the bitcoin they want to buy, but they don't study themselves. first understand yourself can control emotions and others then invest.
Looking at the red market the way it is right now I think it's a good time to buy bitcoins, in other words in a business venture is the price of bitcoins is now at a discount if they save for the future.

emotions affect everything, when emotions are unstable or cannot be controlled, the analysis that is done or the strategy that has been made will not work properly. Everything will fall apart because of uncontrollable emotions. Too panic will only fail everything that has been arranged from the beginning. If emotional management and money management have been done then there is no reason to panic when the bitcoin price crashes.

I can see a lot of people still buying Bitcoin even at this moment even if the market price drop a big percentage, I mean when the market price drop there are a lot more opportunity to invest in Bitcoin and more people have a chance to buy Bitcoin that they can sell in the future for a lot higher profit, Its really difficult to hold Bitcoin especially if you see the market drop a lot of percentage and that's where a lot of investors start to sell their Bitcoin. Probably because of a lot of bad news and articles online about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency that really affect the market.

But still, I still can't see people who will stop buying Bitcoin, There is always a cycle in the market probably at this moment there are only a few investors that are willing to risks because of the low market price. This is the opportunity to buy since the market price is low sure when they see the market price continue to increase a lot of people and investors will want a piece of Bitcoin on Bullrun.

If a lot of people were buying bitcoin now, we would definitely see it on the price change chart. But what is happening now suggests that there are still more people selling bitcoin, which is why the rate has fallen. There is a kind of panic effect here. The more the price falls, the more willing to sell btc. Because the fear of a further fall forces to do so. On the bullrun it will be the other way around. The more the price rises, the more people will invest in bitcoin. This will work until a certain point. This is a well-known paradox of any markets, be it the cryptomarket or the stock market. You don't have to follow the crowd, you have to go against the market. And no matter how much cheaper bitcoin is, there will always be buyers, thanks to whom the lower price bar of btc is kept. So, the question, are you still buying, remains relevant until now. Because now is not a bad time to do so.

Perhaps someone can win in this case if they sell it now and buy it back when the price drops a little lower, but how reasonable is it to do now, will the benefit really be so significant, because in addition to sell, you also need to buy in time, while the price is lower, and if the price begins to grow rapidly at this time, then in the end it will be necessary to buy even more expensive than it was selling.

Questionable decisions, but this is the psychology of the crowd, there will always be those who will think that it can be even worse, or there will be those who, in fear of losing everything, will sell at a loss in order to save at least some money, and the market at that moment will begin to grow.

This is absolutely the right time to buy more. The weak hands are leaving, dumping for the whales to take charge of the bitcoin market.  I wonder if they are aware of the halving around the corner and if they were wise and smart, they could hold no matter the market pressure but we are not I their minds neither do we know what they are up to but I believe still at low now, it could pump back to a new atl at any moment as no one has the final autonomy of bitcoin price and movement.

Bitcoin has shown resilience and has also consistently bounced back from price corrections in the past. It is important for investors to be aware of the fact that the market is volatile, therefore, instead of focusing on short term price rage, it’s essential to evaluate bitcoin’s potential impact on the future of finance.
As it is important to be cautious, it’s also important to take long term perspective when it comes to investing in Bitcoin. History has significantly shown that bitcoin has the power to recover from downturns and deliver returns.

And yes I agree with you, from the predictions I've been seeing online, the next bull run will really shock most people. Especially those that are sleeping on bitcoin
Next bitcoin movement will really shock everyone but I don’t know if bitcoin will just pump from $26k to $50k overnight, bitcoin price movement is always gradually and we shouldn’t just expect a massive pump overnight. Most people that haven’t invested in bitcoin due to one or two reasons, they will be surprise  when the bull run start, nobody know when the bull run is coming, but we are just hoping it will be soon, it’s really going to shock most people because most people are still expecting bitcoin to dump more before investing.

The cryptocurrency market has experienced minor volatility including a drop in the price of Bitcoin in the last 1 day and price BTC now $30.252. This volatility can create uncertainty and doubt among potential buyers. For traders I don't think this is an obstacle instead this is a good moment to collect more of their coins/tokens and for those who buy at a high price this is cause for concern because a lot of user assets are at stake on platforms that have problems with the SEC.

I feel the major reason why some folks are actually selling is because they think or feel they have enquired some profits to their investment as maybe they bought during the last year big dip and bear season but this happens because they are not long term holders because someone willing to hold for long would actually still hold despite seeing some profit added to their portfolio. My target for buying Bitcoin now should be to hold it till the market reaches another ATH although I don't really know when tats going happen but one you should prepare to hold no matter how Long it takes.

Yes. you are right and very relevant although Current market behavior may surprise many. Investing is a personal decision that is influenced by market conditions. Recent market trends have deterred many buyers due to the fluctuating price of Bitcoin. However, it is important to consider the potential results.
