Title: Which stocks to buy?

Now the economic sector has sunk, and is it worth buying shares, if so, in which area? I am considering buying shares of any Internet publications and large companies, is there a demand for them and will there be an increase in shares?

Well, if you're for the stocks then one desired stock should be with the technology. But if you're too concerned with the current surroundings and what's happening in the world then take those stocks that are related to pharma or health.
And you know what's best? Aside from the stocks, don't you want to consider buying Bitcoin? It's a no brainer investment and you've posted in a Bitcoin forum so, I guess that you're aware that everyone here is going to suggest you to buy Bitcoin aside or after you bought Bitcoin.

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy. If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.

What some people do not know is that stocks too are highly volatile too.

The volatility of stocks are not only a thing because the nature of the market but also because the mistakes or screwups the CEOs of those public companies can commit.

I still recall I was interested on putting a little bit of money on Netflix stocks and Meta because how well the first was doing during the pandemic and the second because the concept of Metaverse. I ended up not buying anything.

Netflix was wrong with their viewers growth estimations and Meta's Metaverse was just a badly done MMORPG with expensive headsets.

One needs to have a good eye to know whether or now a company is doing sound decisions, before investing.

Why do you still want to buy on a sinking market while Bitcoin is showing a very good resistance towards economic crisis due to inflation? There’s no guarantee that the market will recover anytime and give you decent profit while Bitcoin growth is imminent since halving is near and more adoption is happening globally due to this economic crisis.

I know that buying on stock market now is really tempting due to dump price but there’s no certainty on how long this market will go dip while you can gain huge profit on Bitcoin right now without being exposed on high risk of economic crisis.

Especially when we examine the last few months, we see that many of the stocks are constantly losing value and therefore upsetting the investors. Especially considering the crises in the banking sector, it is possible to say that bank stocks are very risky in this process. I think that it is necessary to chase a better buying point for a while, considering that not only bank stocks but also the stock market in general is in a downtrend. I think that especially health and technology stocks will offer serious buying opportunities. In addition, when we consider today's conditions, I think that by following the news well, opportunities with better earnings potential can arise in the cryptocurrency markets rather than stock markets. For this reason, it will be useful to follow the news and markets very well.

No recommendations regarding stocks from me for you to buy. I recommend that you buy Bitcoin in the midst of a declining price.
The choice of investors when the economic condition is weak is that many have turned to other types of investment apart from investing in stocks.

I offer you to consider choosing Bitcoin over buying stocks even though when the situation is like now buying stocks is very tempting, but with Bitcoin we can expect greater returns even though there are those who think that Bitcoin has a large level of price fluctuation.
There is an article from bloomberg (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-05-15/debt-ceiling-negotiations-have-investors-eyeing-gold-if-us-defaults) that you can see how the percentage level of investors in maintaining wealth.

The reason some people still talk about nearly collapse and less lucrative market as stock is that they still not comfortable with investing in bitcoin. If you check the beginners thread, a lot of newbies are yet to build confidence in it so when I hear someone trying to move into stock in this age that bitcoin can give higher return, I'm not surprised. To compare the fears they have, they feel that the banks CEOs and the company's management are liable to a failed investment stock and so they may sue to get their money back but this on the other hand shows a lack of understanding of the deflationary decentralised cryptocurrency like bitcoin and halving is just in the corner which investors are expecting at least double of whatever value of bitcoin they are hodling.

I'm curious about you. You're on a bitcoin forum where there's a lot of bitcoin discussion but you even want to buy shares? You must be joking ;D

We are here to invest in bitcoins, so we advise you to buy bitcoins instead of stocks. Maybe there will be an increase in the share price, but I don't know about that because I don't invest in stocks. I advise buying bitcoin because the potential increase or profit is greater than stocks. And you also have to have a lot of money to buy stocks.

If you want to buy shares now, I recommend choosing companies with a low leverage and that bring real profits. For growth-oriented unicorns, which are heavily dependent on the success of the next round of funding, these are not good times.

What some people do not know is that stocks too are highly volatile too.
Maybe I'm just an old fart, but if there are people here who have no clue what the volatility difference is between the stock market and bitcoin (not to mention altcoins) or simply that the stock market is volatile at times, they really ought to learn a bit about finance before plowing a bunch of money into anything.

And yes, as I said stocks can be volatile--but overall it's nowhere near the level of bitcoin.  The wild swings have seemingly settled down as of late, but you don't generally see 20% (or more) gains or losses in the course of a day in the stock market, and if that were to happen it'd be front page news.  But that kind of volatility has been seen in the bitcoin market repeatedly, and everybody just yawns.

OP, do a lot more research before trying to pick stocks to buy, and don't rely on people's posts unless they seem well-informed.  The fact is that we've been in a sustained bull market for well over a decade now and at the moment stocks are overvalued in general.  So if you buy some tech stock with no earnings or a P/E >25 or so, you're probably buying near the high.  The safest thing to do (and it's been recommended by many economists and financial advisors) is to buy into an index fund that tracks one of the major indexes.  That way you're basically betting on the stock market as a whole and not on a single company.

Good luck in whatever you do.  Markets are crazy right now, so get a feel for things before making a move.

Personally, I wouldn't go into share buying because the profit will be little compare to bitcoin in the next five years. Another reason is that you can't use little amount of money to buy shares, and at the end of the day your investment will be under the care of someone else. Bitcoin has a great potential and can be bought with little amount of money,it can give you a good profit if you can hold for long and keep on accumulating more coins, knowing the market analysis. There is a sure guarantee that you will be happy on your investment. Lastly, you are your own bank and you can monitor your investment and all your profit belongs to you but in shares, profit will be shared amongst investors. But if you feel it is stock that you prefer, then make a research on the most favourable and with low leverage stock.

You can try to invest in food company stocks because after all food is an important sector and it is much better to buy food company stocks in the current conditions especially those related to wheat and rice. Compared to companies engaged in technology, it is still unstable at this time, especially in the sanctions war between America and China, it is even more risky. Or another option, you can buy Bitcoin and thats the best option.

Invest on bitcoin and use the remaining part of your money to buy shares as well, this advise is what i can also give to myself in taking decision on investment and assets, the reason being that bitcoin is the most trending asset of an investment on the digital network today and is profitable, people have shifted on buying shares to this new and modern technology with cryptocurrency because they see it as the most reliable, secured and decentralized means they can invest and handles their investment by themselves.

Stock market rcently was all red as they all are plunging down as US debt defaulting may be posible. It may be unsure yet to go on buy as risk is higher.

An advice I would take if I would buy stocks would be from a gold mining company or oil company. They are usually the ones that always rise as said by seasoned stock market trader.

I think real estate is still stable and has low inflation there. You can try real estate stocks but if you don't want to be difficult it looks like deposits, or bank stocks are also good because the financial base has always dominated in the industry. avoid fashion stocks that are easy and quick to change. I like real estate because it's hard to fall in price and it tends to go up because it's a pretty important sector. the rest I will save gold.

I'm not much involved in the stock market, in a sluggish economy, the only hope is if you only plan long term investments. So short-term fluctuations may be tolerated, but this requires more in-depth fundamental analysis to see the potential side of the company.

If there's a stock startup company with a product or service that utilizes AI technology, I think it's worth considering.

Before the pandemic and inflationary economic times, stocks could be a potential investment asset, but now that the inflationary period is volatile, investing in this type of investment is not profitable, and their liquidity is relatively low. In addition, it is not certain that the market will return or that stocks will be able to recover. So you should probably opt for bitcoin, as it is doing a great job of fighting the crisis due to the inflationary economy, and this is also a good time to buy it.

Apple seems like a good buy to me. Nvidia too. Nvidia especially made great returns after going heavy on the AI stuff. Apple will too follow this trend imo. AI is the next big thing and companies that come up with good products will be rewarded handsomely. (and their shareholders)

Other than that there are those bluechip companies like KO, J&J etc... they are boring but good investments. They won't make you rich overnight like Nvidia. Just don't buy meme stocks like GME and you will be fine.

But stocks in US banks, more of them are collapsing but of course they will rise again in time because we can’t stand yet without banks, and the financial crisis they are facing right now is just temporary, so buying their stocks might be a good one.

Stocks are less risky compare to Bitcoin, you can analyze the whole market with stocks because there’a already a good price history. Buying technologies stock are also a good idea, its booming and I see their dominance in the future.

Examine the firms you are interested in from a financial standpoint. Examine their debt levels, cash flow, profitability, and sales growth. Companies with strong financial standing may be better able to withstand economic downturns and have a higher probability of long-term recovery and growth. Then evaluate the stock prices of the companies you are interested in. Do they now trade for a price that is appropriate given their inherent value? To ascertain if the stocks are maybe cheap or overpriced, consider indicators like the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, price-to-sales (P/S) ratio, and other pertinent valuation measures.

Try to glance at the names of well-known names with these stocks and usually they have profits every year, this will not produce, but with well-known companies their shares always increase every year.

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy. If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.
Even though this is the right moment to buy bitcoin at a low price with another year going towards the halving, it is very likely that if he buys bitcoin and holds it for only two years then the possibility will double his profits, it's just that some of them don't believe in bitcoin because of its volatility tall.
Maybe for me pretty sure on bitcoins over stocks.

Just think about stocks that are pandemic proof and a crisis proof, I think those who are in manufacturing and food industry has a better chance of winning again.
This will also depend on the country you are going to invest with. Like in US, banks are collapsing so you might not want to catch those falling edge and might consider other blue chips company. I'm not into stocks anymore, though in our local stocks I still hold some of the blue chips that I bought during pandemic, profit are still ok with them.

Bad idea! If you are expecting a recession, then buying stock is a bad idea. Rather, invest in gold. Like Robert Kiyosaki said, invest in God's money. Don't invest in stocks if you really like to save yourself from drowning during a recession.

Crypto is also a very risky proposition but if the value of fiat goes down during a recession, the crypto is expected to outperform. So have some cryptos in your portfolio as well. But not stocks of the tech companies.

It is better to buy large companies, of course, but I don't think they have sunk much. It is better to analyze how these stocks behaved before the market fell and what their fall affected and after how long the rollback occurred.

Most of the tech stocks are doing well like Nvidia, Apple, Facebook, etc. Everything else is not doing too well. Many are trading at 52 week lows. Even many of the large cap stocks like Intel or 3M.

You are better off waiting to be honest. Wait for a recession and then go buy some stocks cheap. If it never happens then don’t buy any stocks just buy bonds. You can get 5% now and it’s risk free pretty much.

Most of the members of this forum are investors in crypto platform here if you want to know any information related to investing in cryptocurrency or bitcoin then you will get good help from this forum. Since you only plan to buy stock market shares, you can invest in Bitcoin instead of buying stock market shares. If you invest the amount of money you have in Bitcoin and hold your investment for a long period of time, it is possible to earn several times more profit than buying shares in the stock market. Your Money Your Decision If you think buying shares in the stock market will be more profitable than investing in Bitcoin, then you can buy shares in the stock market.

Aside from twitter that has uncertain path as to which they will be going, most of the tech related stuffs nowadays are good to go if you want to consider investing into tech related stock.

Why internet publications of all things? If you are talking about traditional news and story sites, those are going to be in trouble soon. AI content is growing rapidly and that area will get flooded as AI:s can produce exponentially more quality content with deepfake propaganda so fast that it will be impossible to fact check faster then new content comes out.

After a while there needs to be a way to filter news to some sort of fact check but before that happens, so many publications have gone broke.

Things like Reddit and onlyfans will probably thrive as people need connection to other people if you consider those as publications.

I do not feel that the economic sector has sunk because the development of the economic sector in several countries is still there and has not sunk. Even if there are a number of countries that are experiencing difficulties in the economic sector, I think this is just not resolved by the government there because currently all leaders in every country are always trying to develop their country through several sectors including through the economic sector.

And in terms of buying stocks, I can't give you precise recommendations because I personally am a person who often visits the crypto market and very rarely visits the stock market so there are no specific recommendations about stocks that I can give you, even though buying stocks on some of the major companies include very good options as well for now. You are at the bitcoin forum, and this is the forum with the largest number of bitcoin investors. So that's why I think you won't get too much stock advice, and instead, people will blame you when you don't invest in bitcoin but pick stocks. Even gold and real estate, two of the safest assets, are hardly welcome here, let alone stocks. No matter where you want to invest, do your own analysis instead of investing in someone else's advice. We are like you, we are regular investors, there are winners and losers, and there are no experts, so don't ask such questions.

well, it depends on you whether you take the large or small-cap stocks. technology sector could be a great variety chose from but it's been rising since. You can also chose from indutrial sector, you can chose from companies in US30, or pick a company that resonates with you and your research inside the S&P500 where the top 500 are in. Because you question it on bitcoin forums so most of them don't really care about stocks, or big companies for you to choose and invest in. And it looks like you have big capital for investment because in my opinion wherever you invest if you put a lot of money you will definitely get big profits too, but it all depends on where you invest and you also have to have understanding and knowledge in it.
and i also recommend you to invest in bitcoin or other crypto but bitcoin is the best investment, safe and also comfortable if you do it for long term. And now is the best time for you to buy it and keep it for the long term, and if you buy it in bulk, you will also make a big profit in the long run, at least a year or two.

Buying shares of a particular company in a sunken economic zone depends on many factors, including your approach to the market, your investment goals, and the level of risk you're willing to take accept. If you're interested in internet real estate and technology companies, this could be an option worth looking at companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft are examples of big tech companies that can attract long-term investment. Besides, Internet real estate companies such as Redfin, Zillow and Trulia also have the potential to grow in the context that the online real estate market is becoming a big industry.

However, investing in these companies is still subject to a degree of risk and market factors. Therefore, I advise you to consult professional information and thoroughly research specific companies before investing.

the stock market and Crypto have significant differences and I think it's only natural that you can't give any recommendations.
I personally do too, I invest more in Crypto than stocks.
but with my minimal knowledge of the stock market, in my opinion, the safest stocks to buy are bank shares, they will not fall and increase significantly, their prices tend to be stable following the movements of a country's currency.
if you look at the percentage of profits, it is indeed very small, but it is very worth it with all the risks faced.

The stock sector is indeed attractive to some people to become an investment asset in the long term, and yes the current economic conditions make stock prices fall, if you want to invest in stocks you have to understand how stocks can provide benefits, and the relative advantages of stocks small if you use small money, and you should consider the company's business pattern to see if it will survive and thrive even more in the future. I think the technology industry is a solution in this case, but for me compared to stocks, bitcoin is better, especially today, the price is still relatively cheap.
Stocks will improve for sure, but you have to wait very patiently for the economy to improve.

To go with stocks instead of crypto during this period makes me wonder if people are still mad. I mean stocks are just companies, companies crash, they bankrupt, there is nothing that can make you trust a company more than you could trust some crypto.

I would trust the biggest company, apple (or is it tesla now) as much as I trust BNB at most, which is third coin, and that is the biggest company, I would feel like ETH and BTC is a better investment than any other company anywhere on the world, it's just as simple as that. Some may disagree with me but that is how I see it and I will continue to see it that way forever. People are just overly fond of these stocks because that is how it has been for a while and they are having trouble changing their perspective.

I was naive like the OP before I joined bitcoitalk forum. Now I understand more about the decentralized nature of bitcoin and it's advantage over company stocks. With what I've learned so far here and the level of confidence of members about the profitability of bitcoin, I believe that it is the way to go, as far as trading and investment business goes.

As you have noted, we newcomers don't need to rely solely on posts made by members, there is need to carry out research before doing anything. For that I'm thankful for the educative links that I've come across in this forum, that enlightens on the many hadvantages of bitcoin.

try to buy gold mine stock. I think those who are related to gold will give us more profit space compared to other industrial investments because gold is said to be the most powerful medium of exchange. but if you like the financial industry that's not bad because bank stocks also usually offer good medium term returns, besides that try real estate where they are very good in fundamentals and the price doesn't fall easily.

This is a bit of a matter of taste, but I prefer companies that are established, boring, and have a long history of growing dividend payments, the best representative being J&J.

If you build a portfolio of stocks in this style you get cash flow from the dividend payments, plus a likely appreciation of the stock. The downside: you probably won't beat a low-cost S&P 500 index fund in total return. But dividend investing in blue chips has a psychological component as well. When you invest in a fund, you tend not to want to sell the fund and if you need cash you get rid of part of the investment and, in advance, you will not be able to know if you have chosen a bad timing to sell, while with dividends you get a cash flow that you can reinvest or spend as you see fit without selling your shares.

Now the economic sector has sunk, and is it worth buying shares, if so, in which area? I am considering buying shares of any Internet publications and large companies, is there a demand for them and will there be an increase in shares?

A great Expansion trade plan from you. I like it. If you want to choose this type of investment, the profit is small, but if paid in installments little by little it will bear fruit, especially those with good fundamentals, not much debt, the product is very well known so the potential for delisting is very small.

Yes. like one of the categories mentioned earlier by you, the stock of Internet publications and for the types and choices, of course, there are many. The concept is the same as Crypto if you go up you sell and down you buy back, not much different from investing with BTC.

When there are so many opportunities in Bitcoin and you are connected to Bitcoin Talk Forum then why would you want to buy stock shares instead of buying Bitcoin. Those who have no idea about the bitcoin market or those who are not connected to this forum would make such a decision, but if you regularly spend time on this forum, you should know how the movement of bitcoin may go next. If you know this information, then for you. The decision will be easy i mean instead of buying stock shares you invest in bitcoin and forget about your investment for some time after a certain time you log into your invested account then see how successful you are in investing.

Everything is at risk, man. After all, ETH or BNB are also run by an individual or a company, so the possibility of their collapse will also happen, they cannot be safer than the stocks of large companies like Apple or Tesla. You prefer crypto because they simply offer better returns than stocks, but the higher the return, the higher the risk.

In terms of market capitalization, Apple's capitalization is around $2.7 trillion, which is 2.5 times larger than the entire crypto market. So to say that stocks are not safer than crypto is a lie and slightly biased toward crypto.

To be fair, cryptocurrency is not the best investment, it is just the most profitable investment, but everything is always proportional, high return comes with high risk.

Bank shares are not a good idea unless you are buying the too big to fail ones like JPM. All these regionals are a dead cat bounce and when they rally high enough many will simple sell because it’s too risky.

It’s risky because they got bad loans and low deposit rates. Most likely more will go under and the stockholders won’t get anything back. The depositors will be fine but bond and shareholders will get wiped. Hence why there is no point in buying regional stocks.

Cryptocurrencies have gained significant popularity and have shown impressive growth in recent years. However, it's important to consider a few points when evaluating the potential of both stocks and cryptocurrencies:

In my opinion, stock investing is not a good idea because, in the next five years, the profit will be minimal compared to that of bitcoin. Another argument is that you cannot purchase shares with a small sum of money, and your investment will be managed by someone else at the end of the day. Bitcoin has a big potential and can be purchased for a small sum of money. If you can hang onto it for a while and keep acquiring more coins while keeping an eye on the market, it can make you a good profit. You can be certain that your investment will be a good one. Last but not least, you are your own bank. You are in charge of managing your investments, and all of your profits are yours alone. But if you think it's a stock you like, do some study on the most advantageous, low-leverage stocks.

I think stocks are almost the same as Bitcoin's volatile performance, so with the current situation we find it difficult to choose stocks that are suitable for us to follow, and I am more confident by buying some Bitcoin for now because the increase in Bitcoin has sounded to occur in the near future, although this is only a prediction but many people are already convinced and invest to make a profit, Then I cannot advise you at this time to buy stocks because the state of emonomi is indeed bad so you should consider buying Bitcoin or other potential Aktcoin in order to get satisfactory results later.

In my opinion, agricultural or plantation stocks are the stocks that we most deserve to buy, food prices continue to increase because many countries in the world have changed from an agrarian country to an industrial country so that agricultural land is decreasing, companies that focus on the agricultural and plantation business certainly get a lot of benefits and now many have entered the stock market.

If you like investing in stocks, you should choose stocks of technology companies, most of which have the best growth in the stock market. But why don't you invest in cryptocurrencies? Its returns are much better than stocks. In terms of risk, it is true that cryptocurrencies will be much riskier, but as an investment, there is always a risk, high risk, high return.

Almost all countries around the world have problems developing in their economy, and they cannot fix it because they themselves are the ones who will not be affected when their economy collapses.

That's why the investors are just investing in what they think and they think they will grow and most of them are in stocks and the rest are in bitcoin if they want long-term. And the rest is in real estate or gold like that.

try to enter bank shares, or also giant companies like goole or tesla. I think google and tesla are still good to consider as an investment place to buy shares. if there are stocks about AI, I think they are a must have for us, AI is very popular now, even though it is a short trend but worth trying to invest. if you want to go long term try to get into real estate stocks or gold mines.
Why tesla though? Chart doesn't look that promising so i am not seeing anything from the point of technical analysis that would.

Google on the other hand seems to recover strongly and i has a change for a very bullish year coming but that montly candle seems too strong at this point. I would wait for retrace before entering.

For fundamental side of TSLA, for any bigger investors this is a truly high risk bet, as when CEO is unhinged and pretty much destroys his PR in his free time, that naturally affects to company PR. I would avoid that. And looking at the charts, investors avoid it as well as while it's not in a free fall it needs ton of confidence to start the recovery.

Investing in stocks, you analyze charts just to find the right time to buy, but to know its future value, you need to evaluate the performance of that company. Tesla is one of the companies delivering huge returns to investors, so this crisis period is a good time for investors to invest in their stock. To be on the safe side, I still think it's a good idea to invest in stocks of tech companies.

But I find it confusing, we are on a cryptocurrency forum. Why doesn't he mention and invest in crypto, but he wants to invest in stocks, while crypto is giving better returns.

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy. If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.

What some people do not know is that stocks too are highly volatile too.

Yes, I agree with you. Purchasing bitcoin was one of the main activities we engaged in on the forum, so there is no need for us to engage in lengthy discussions about the best stocks to purchase there. Instead, anyone with the means to do so should consider purchasing bitcoin first, as it is the most well-liked investment for young people to purchase and hold for an extended period of time. However, As a forum participant, I would like to suggest that the best course of action for you is to acquire a bitcoin when it is cheap and keep onto it until the price rises, at which point you can sell it.
I didn't say this to persuade you; rather, I said it to inform you of the most crucial thing to accomplish with your money and what you won't look back on regretting.

Whether we like it or not, the world has entered a new phase of development, where technology is becoming one of the main areas of development. It is also worth paying attention to the agricultural sector and medicine. But I will not give specific names, here is an area for our own research, risk assessment and prospects. I feel like energy company shares would be safest buy right now as we are seeing energy crisis in Europe. Not only Europe actually I mean energy prices increased in whole world. Companies with high amount of gold reserves and/or companies producing products including gold can also not get affected. I think banks should be avoided but must be noted. When crisis ends in couple of years bank shares will definitely see sharp rises from bottom. I personally dislike real estate investments at this point cause prices feel extra ordinary high in my opinion, returns may be diminishing.

then pay attention to which sectors will advance in the future, especially in the field of technology.

Personally, I am not that close and familiar with stocks, but in my opinion, when deciding to buy stocks, you should try to look at the needs, for example, for now, the tendency for people to use the internet network and maybe buy stocks related to this is much better, or try buying stocks related with the pharmaceutical sector due to increasing health needs. But ideally I don't direct you directly because I myself have never bought stocks either, but there are some friends who often talk about it and they buy banking stocks and until now I haven't seen the big profits they got either.

Currently there is bitcoin as a long-term investment that is so promising, as long as you make the right investment journey. My question is have you never considered investing in bitcoin? or for now you don't understand how to invest in bitcoin because of a lack of interest in learning, my advice is to try to learn bitcoin gradually and compare the pattern of buying shares that you have done with investing in bitcoin later.

Absolutely, your view hits the mark. Tesla's rise resembles the new kid on the block who rocked up and rapidly became the lead cheerleader, making the world take note. Still, let's not forget that investing is like a team sport - it ain't all about the superstar player, but the squad as a whole. History reminds us of some shooting stars that dazzled, then plummeted. Enron ring a bell?

Besides, the corporate narrative isn't the ultimate decider. Cold, hard facts and the company's basics should guide your choices. Getting sucked into a company's tale without considering the data is like diving headfirst into a gripping detective novel only to find the final twist wasn't what you signed up for! While the appeal of pouring money into titans can be hard to resist, it's critical not to jump on the bandwagon blindly. Be the savvy fox, making sure your investments align with your belief in a company's future, not just because it's the trending topic

Both cryptocurrencies and stocks are asset classes that can provide huge returns, but they always come with a lot of risk and the possibility of loss. While cryptocurrencies appear to be gaining significantly more attention and adoption than stocks, they are still a relatively new and evolving asset class. So I think choosing crypto would be a better investment than buying stocks since both asset classes are now heavily stocked with very low tickers. Generally, choosing between investing in stocks or cryptocurrencies depends on one's risk appetite, investment knowledge, and personal beliefs about the potential of each asset class.

Minimal profits is still a profit and it's not a big deal as long as most of our investments are in Bitcoin. We only use Stocks as a way to diversify because they say that it's better to diversify. I think that's because we still have something to get once the other didn't go well but we still need to pick properly because if both of them are bad assets, that will still be useless as both of them can share the same faith.

The only downside of Stocks investing is like you said, we can't hold our assets. The company might be trusted now but we don't know what can happen later on. It's also possible for Bitcoins investments if we choose a Centralized/Custodial platform to store our coins.

Don't force yourself to jump further if your leg is injured because the effect will be very fatal, invest in a subject that you already understand how it works.

If you understand how to invest in Bitcoin, this moment is perfect for you because the price of Bitcoin is currently low and you want to save your money in the form of Internet published assets. If you have long-term investment intentions, Bitcoin is the best investment medium for you, especially since the price is still very affordable.

Are you referring to investing in stocks? If you think you are confident in stocks and you have knowledge about it, it can be said that if you follow what you want to do and nothing stops you.

But why here now on this forum platform? Are you thinking about investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the long-term, or has someone you know or a friend told you to learn about Bitcoin? Because if you ask me, it's definitely better to invest here than in stocks, just in my opinion.

I think it is a bit more about the story behind it and how big it become as well. I think Tesla became huge during a recent period, it wasn't just that much of a big company and slowly it got bigger and bigger and bigger. This is why I believe that we are talking about something that gets a lot of love from a lot of people. I know that it is not going to be easy for everyone to accept what it is right now and it is too overhyped and it is too overpriced but that doesn't change the fact that it got so much attention very recently.

It has been just 3-5 years and that means it is a recent hyped thing and everyone wants a part of it. I do enjoy investing into big companies, big companies usually do well, not all the time but usually, and I understand the logic behind it.
Currently Tesla (https://theharrispoll.com/partners/media/axios-harrispoll-100/) is second most unpopular automotive company in US (Chrysler most unpopular) so i don't know there you are getting that feel of love. Yeah, automotive companies in US are pretty popular in general but still. And i agree it got hyped fast, faster then people realizing that those cars were overhyped. Even i was planning to buy one and thought bad reviews were just normal fud for distruptive tech. Then i kept on reading and realized that those cars were overhyped and might end up being nokia of car companies. Fast rising star that didn't quite keep up with the other companies.

Also most CEOs out there don't try to actively ruin their reputation, this and upcoming lawsuits against the CEO scares off big investors.

I am thinking that OP might have seen synthetic stocks in some crypto exchanges and is talking about those. Not real stocks.

Generally, choosing between investing in stocks or cryptocurrencies depends on one's risk appetite, investment knowledge, and personal beliefs about the potential of each asset class.
actually two things are the same between crypto and stocks (full of risks of gains and losses), but currently crypto developments are very advanced and always provide more benefits than stocks. so it's no wonder that crypto is getting more attention, because apart from being new and the benefits that are obtained are also very surprising, and don't be surprised at this time many who already know immediately switch to crypto.
but you also have to be able to analyze well because at the moment there are many crypto scams, but if you want to place in bitcoin it will definitely be safer, but you must remember that bitcoin is very good when used as a long-term investment.

In what ways are cryptocurrencies better than stocks? Both have their pros and cons, neither is better than the other. If cryptocurrency can be more profitable, it is riskier. Meanwhile, stocks are less profitable but still safer than cryptocurrencies. But oddly enough, we were on a bitcoin forum and he asked a question about investing in stocks  :D :D.
OP: banks and stocks are not welcome here, so the answer you will get is just bitcoin and bitcoin.

I, at the moment, am considering options for buying shares in high-tech companies. And both existing and new startups. Whether we like it or not, the world has entered a new phase of development, where technology is becoming one of the main areas of development. It is also worth paying attention to the agricultural sector and medicine. But I will not give specific names, here is an area for our own research, risk assessment and prospects. And again - you should not invest everything in "one basket" - only asset diversification!

Medicine and tech are where the big bucks are according to all the venture capitalists. Listening to their analysis, they'll dedicate a chunk of their portfolio into industries that pose high growth potential or are resistant to recession. Tech poses high growth, and medicine in particular has government subsidy backing so they're a bit more resilient to economic turmoil. I've seen VC's dump their money into Silicon Valley startups which torch money for years before they are profitable, if they ever reach that point. Others have the sole interest of being bought out by larger companies.

Even picking out a few companies to invest in highly profitable industries is a bit of a gamble -- tech companies flop every day unfortunately. To your point -- diversify!

Are you planning to buy shares while the price of Bitcoin is falling so low? People wait for that time when the price of bitcoin will drop down and they will buy bitcoin at that time but why are you planning to buy shares of any company at this time. You might say that buying shares is less risky than buying bitcoins, but investing in bitcoins at this time is not as risky because the price of bitcoins has gone from high to low and the market is expected to go higher soon. I think it would be a good decision for you to invest in Bitcoin right now.

Depends on the company but this is certainly not the place for it without a doubt. I still highly suggest Coinbase, it was highly valued and shouldn't have been, that's true without a doubt but I still support it. Aside from that, I would only suggest big names, Apple, Netflix, Google (alphabet), Walt Disney, amazon, tesla, meta, coca cola, Microsoft, McDonalds, all of these are great.

Berkshire is also high on the list and definitely looks like it's stronger, but to me it looks like it may crash very hard when Warren passes away, and not like he is a young person, hell he is not an old person neither, dude is 93 years old, it's a miracle he is still alive with the diet he has as well. So I try to stay away from that for now, maybe I will consider adding it after he passes away and the stock crashes, get it at the bottom you know.

Buy those stocks who have been here for long/have a flourishing business, in our local country market we buy them for long term and accumulate dividends across the way. My knowledge about US-based stocks is poor so I dont focus on them at all but keep it limited to my own country. I have been getting dividends enough to cover up a part of our monthly bills and that is indeed a saving. I could also bulk sell whenever I wish but that is not my objective.

Every month a part of your salary should be allocated to savings, assets, spendings and surplus. This comes up the assets part and should be flexible to accommodate stocks, bonds, bitcoin etc, in my opinion.

It depends on each investor's taste and vision, bitcoin is not the only investment we have, just because you like to invest in bitcoin doesn't mean others are like you. And not only does investing in bitcoin bring great returns, but other investments do not. I have a friend who has invested in stocks and forex for many years, and he is not even interested in bitcoin. And one more thing, even if I hold a few bitcoins, it's nothing compared to his profits in the other two markets. Moreover, more than likely, OP is already invested in bitcoin, and he needs to diversify his portfolio, it would be foolish to put all his heart into bitcoin without diversifying.

Our local stock market is going full Turkish investors. Foreigners ran away before the election. Now the new government will run by same party, there is concern that the same economic model could be applied. The new Minister of Economy thinks a little differently, but we are not sure if he will have his say. If there is a difference in the interest rate policy and the economy becomes more normal, it's possible that the Turkish stock market will rise. You know how profitable the stock markets of developing countries are at such times. But the new government must first give this confidence to foreign investors. Otherwise, stock market will continue to be very risky even in the most popular stocks.

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy. If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.

What some people do not know is that stocks too are highly volatile too.

Bitcoin and Stock may both have volatility, but in terms of its level I guess Bitcoin is much higher than Stock. Maybe I guess in stock I could say its in medium position level. In short, stocks are not volatile as Bitcoin. Because, we all know that volatility most of the time is good for the investors who are willing for the long-term investment.

And that's why Bitcoin is very suitable for this situation for the long-term. That is why If I am going to choose between mutual fund and bitcoin, I would rather pick Bitcoin to hold it for 10 years.

there is no wrong that the original poster want to buy stocks as investment rather than bitcoin. He may want to avoid higher risk of volatility bitcoin's price although we all know that stock is also volatile.

no one can guarantee that if you would sell it after two years you will get huge profit and proof your statement that this time is best time to buy.

There are lots of books out there on the topic of investing in the stock market, you really have to get out there and start reading them yourself to make sense of it all. In the short term you likely want to look for the lowest cost broker of index funds, which are effectively large baskets of stocks which will help to diversify the risk away. Buying shares in individual companies when you don't know the basics is a recipe for losing all your money. Learn first and act later. If you are a person that follows whatever the "hot" trend is at the moment, you are probably far out of the loop and get into the stock just as the real pros are stepping back out of it to take a profit.

@OP am very sure you are fully aware of btc and its huge potential otherwise you won't be in bitcointalk forum to ask which stock to buy. So i will assume you already owned some btc and you are looking to diversify, if this is the case you should rather consider doing extensive research on that and also joining any related forum for better understanding on stock investment. i doubt you will get the advice you are looking for here since this is a crypto zone and everyone here are crypto enthusiast.

Apple's about to go ham this coming WWDC, releasing new variants of their devices and a supposed "new technology" to be included in their roster. I think they'd be a good addition to every one's portfolio, or at least something that you could stock more on if you have these already. In any case, usually the top 5 performing stocks are the best ones to buy so keep a close eye on those assets.

I don't see what's so wrong bout you guys who always comment shitty replies like these like jesus christ, of course he already knows about crypto otherwise he won't be here. But if your goal is long term stocks that are designated for big long term gains gold mine stocks and real estate are the best for you.

I will advice you to use that money to buy BTC in this season, so that when the price of BTC increase higher soon then you can sell to know how good BTC investment is to those that invested in BTC with confidence. Investing in Shares will not give you the amount of money BTC will give to you when you endure for long for the price to pump higher in a way you will smile with your profits. Since pandemic Shaked many shares investors, it hard for people to invest money on shares because they are afraid of loss so that it will not reduce them to nothing in the environment than to invest the money on a stable coins that will bring good reward at the end.

You buy bitcoins without buying shares of a company. When you buy shares of a company you can get into an odd position. So here I am asking you to look at the chart of bitcoin for the last few years. If you think you got something from the chart then you have it. You can buy and keep.

Yes, it's true that OP should be able to choose wisely, especially since he's already in this forum. For me, investing in Bitcoin or crypto is better than stocks. This is just my opinion after I've invested in stocks.

I believe what you said about stocks is ideally a stock. but my view is that sometimes the stock price depends on the dealer, big cap issuers will lose their gains with new issuers. I have thoroughly analyzed the fundamentals, entered at the right time, but if the dealer doesn't increase it doesn't go up either and small, unclear stocks just keep going up.

because of that i studied crypto and after delving deeper i found out how amazing crypto is. for crypto maybe you have researched defi, nft which is hype in crypto. What I learned is that crypto is very risky, but each coin has a project and a supportive community. if the project is good then the price will fly.

then I decided to get out of the stock and into Bitcoin or crypto. this is my excuse
1. There is no loss in investing in Bitcoin or crypto, as long as we are patient, we will surely get profits.
2. Trading time is 24 hours 7 days so you can sell assets and cash out at any time.
3. You can monitor the progress of the project... you can check this year's coin roadmap.
4. Amazing technology and ideas.... for example if you research tokens, BNB coins can be used for saving, staking, launchpad and borrowing and even crypto insurance.
5. profits. but the risk is really big, that's why not everyone has to be all in on one coin... 100% profit take the capital then buy a coin that is still cheap but the project is good. I myself apply finance in Bitcoin 60% and Altcoin 40%.

I agree with gold stocks and real estate because currently gold is indeed one of the stocks that have the potential to develop in the future and this is not much different we invest in Bitcoin, but for film and banking stocks I am not sure that I can get profits in the long term because currently there is very much competition they have to face in the world of cinema so to get very thin profits, So the stocks we choose now that must have potential for the future and your advice is indeed very appropriate.

Why buy shares if you are in bitcointalk forum and it offers the best investment there is. Buy Bitcoin! It's already a share of just 21 million that will be published. Even if you buy just one of it, someday it will be a big deal.
Stocks are going down unless they are also holding cryptocurrencies. Real estate is also down, inflation is here and soon money will be printed wildly taking the value of each currency. There's really nowhere to run anymore or put our money in, cryptocurrency is the only safe haven if you want the value of your money to either go up or stick to its price for a long time.

Let's face it - investing in any business is a risk. There are a lot of nuances that can negatively affect the business and your investment.  Selecting objects for investment is a very delicate matter, and here it is important to evaluate the potential, the prospects, the "originality of the technology" and much more. And even with a high-quality study, there will still be risks. But as of today, the areas I have mentioned are areas where there are risks, but in the case of a positive development of the situation, they guarantee a good return. This is not a recommendation, these are my thoughts :)

You need to choose the right direction in stocks, and firms that are firmly on their feet. Even large ones sometimes misfire and you will lose more, plus the market is not growing steadily and can roll back very quickly.

Now the economic sector has sunk, and is it worth buying shares, if so, in which area? I am considering buying shares of any Internet publications and large companies, is there a demand for them and will there be an increase in shares?

What's gone up must go lower. Don't you think it's already creating a top and if so, you are going to buy it on a very high price? Don't get hooked up by influencers to tell you to buy stocks today because it's going higher. Don't if you didn't do any analysis on your own.

You may consider technology sector but not those large caps whose already gone the expansion phase, many companies with almost the same valuation but still undervalued will soon follow the trend. Just don't buy the top. You may also consider BTC, it also affects a it is within the scope of web3 and technology. Just think of it.
