  As we all know, tomorrow may 27th, which is children's day. I want to make it a day of joy and happiness for the kids in my community.And I was thinking of spending just a few Bitcoin worth $60usd for some kids in my community so they will have a wonderful children's day celebration.
   However I'm in need of some suggestions on how I  can make it truly fun and enjoyable for them. I want this day to be filled with laughter excitement and lasting memories. but don't really know what to do excalty.Do you have any suggestions for activities that I can organize for the kids, Perhaps a game that teaches them about Bitcoin while keeping them entertained? Or any other ideas that could make this day extra special for them? I'm open to any and all suggestions!

You could just buy them gifts, planning to host an event a day before the D-day may not be successful because Children’s day is a family holiday and I think the parents may have planned something for their kids already, or you could talk with your neighbors and organize a picnic. At the picnic, you could give a quick talk about bitcoin and have a quiz competition later to see who remembers anything you said.

You should distribute chocolates or toffees to kids. In $60, you can get lot of chocolates in my country. Another option, is sending them handmade cards with some images related to bitcoin along with chocolates.

You should specify what’s the age range of the children you are targeting to celebrate with because teaching them is useless if they are on the age that they can’t comprehend complicated things. Much better if you will allocate the funds for the food and just give a toy with Bitcoin theme so that will play it most of the time that might retain in their memory until they grow to the age which they can understand Bitcoin.

I already done feeding children under a care facility. Instead of the children, I educated those caregiver assign to the children so that they can educate the children once they grow old.

Simple gift giving with Bitcoin logos on it will certainly give them the impact. Also, prizes like a cake that has a Bitcoin logo on it and the same goes with Bitcoin pizza.

No need to be the center of the party is all about Bitcoin. Let just those prizes and food that has Bitcoin logo on it and that's more than enough. Let it be just like a normal birthday kids party and they'll enjoy it for sure.

What age range will the children be? I instantly had the idea to give them a quiz with a bitcoin related souvenir prize. If they are young enough maybe between 4-7 years old, you won't spend a lot of money buying them souvenirs they can see all day long like clothing accessories, keys, stickers or something else.

If you really want to bring joy to children on International Children's Day, do things that they enjoy and are appropriate for their age. Giving bitcoins or mentioning bitcoins on International Children's Day is really unnecessary and will most likely make the kids unhappy. If you want to teach them bitcoin, you can arrange another time as we have more time to spend with them than just this holiday. Do not destroy the happiness of the children just because of your wishes.

It's something good to give back to your community through what bitcoin has helped you achieved in life, if you can remember those days you are also once a child and needs someone to help you celebrate the children anniversary in a grand style, so buying them gift and organizing a colorful event toark a memerial of this year's children's day celebration is very important, you can as well introduce bitcoin songs, objects and materials written with bitcoin inscription and many more.


Making it more colour as you want may coat you a little but more higher funds, because you may need to rent them a DJ, cut cake, rent a hall, decorate the hall with bitcoin materials and get an MC to anchor the event, then you will have to feed them, buy drinks and also present them with a gift materials all with bitcoin logo inscribed on them.

The idea is excellent, but finding practical proposals is a bit complicated, since you are looking for a unique idea for a group of children, not just one or two of your children. The children will be of different ages and from different cultural backgrounds, so the most that can be done is to organize a small celebration with the neighbors, where the children will have fun effortlessly getting to know complex ideas. Of course, $60 won't help you much in this case.
There is a suggestion that you can think of, which is to introduce the Bitcoin to the parents during the celebration, who in turn will pass that knowledge on later to their children. Also you don't need those 60 bucks :)

You said your budget for this is about $60 worth of bitcoin,?, why then Crack your brain on what to do?, just buy them some gifts, you could organize 60 children and buy each of them a $1 worth of gift, this can help you work within your budget..

But then again, if you truly want to leave an maybe everlasting impression on their minds like you said, then be ready to spend far more than your current budget.
 - First, You will need to rent an open space
 - Throw a big party
 - Hire some children games and so on..

Or to make things more understandable, you will need to take the children to a funfair event center where there are already several kinds of games children play, and you will also need to invite the parents of the children cus you alone can not control them all, you will need to make available food and drinks, and lastly, you wil still have to give the children tangible and memorable gift at the end of the day..

This, if done in a small way might cost you up to, or more than $5000 dollars, so just simply buy gifts and share for the children in your community if you say your budget is just $60.

Op the occasion belong to you and whatever way you want it to be is okay. I don't think the community will have any suggestion on that. If we does then we are to also plan for your marriage. How the marriage is going to be if you have not married. And if you want the community to plan for you, the $60 is too small. Because something you would have done quietly has been brought to the public so the public will suggest that you should at least spend $100 for the children day party. And from your topic again, $60 can not make children day memorable because things are expenses.
But if you must do, gather them and buy snags and give to them. Play music and let them dance and all these things you need money, you have to pay for the DJ as well.

You did not specify the age range of the children you mentioned. I'm assuming these kids are old enough to go to an amusement park. For their happiness, you can first take them to the amusement park. Then you have to buy pizza because all kids love pizza :) If you increase your money a little more, you can get what they want from the market in the remaining time. You should also advise them not to have too much sugar.

Depends on age of those kids, you will have to organize different things for them. Mindset of kids changes a lot just after 6 months or 1 to 2 years and if you have kids, you will recognize that. Change in mindset is part of their growth and you can not force a 6 years old kid to play a game for 4 years old kid, it's not funny and exciting at all.

Makes something funny for them and don't always think about Bitcoin because you are in Bitcointalk and your kids and friends have to play games about Bitcoin.

Are you thinking of something like an art competition? that is one great idea during celebrations where you can pick 3-5 winners out of the art competition who have good artwork regardless of whether it's a bitcoin painting, bitcoin pizza or anything else that has a bitcoin main idea.

You can adjust how much the competition budget is for the winners regardless of whether you will give gift in the form of prizes or whatever you think is appropriate. The main idea is an art contest, yes it's about bitcoin. So I think with this idea kids and anyone who is aware of it will be wondering what bitcoin is and maybe you'll be an artist for a while in the community itself.

Give them a gift they will never forget. I can't suggest the prizes because I don't know the kids in your community. But perhaps you can take him somewhere, celebrate there over food, and talk about Bitcoin there. So the point is to play while learning so they can start getting to know Bitcoin early on. You can come up with an interesting game, and it seems that you also need advice from the parents of each child, and I think they will help you.

Since that would be there day, Youbneed to get them something that is going to make them happy of being recognized. Normally when I  was a kid, The Children's Day is a day that we normally go out especially to the stadium to watch matches and have fun. You can do similar things too since you have the intention. Although I would have advise you to get them clothes with the Bitcoin written on them but I think it's too late for you to do this. If the fund that you have would be enough you can organize a minimum party for them and get them snacks. I don't really know there numbers but I think this could make sense from my own angle.

You could give them gifts or open up a kid party without mentioning the Bitcoin's name. Because some kids are not matured enough to absorb those knowledge even the basics about Bitcoin and for sure they would just focus on enjoying like some games. But if they are matured enough like 10+ maybe a little quiz games with a prizes as a reward whenever they answer a questions about BTC. Of course you would introduce the basics like the definition of BTC in simple way a presentation with more on visualization since kids are more into photographic memory. Then you could simply start the game and let them enjoy. If you still have the budget you could just print some Bitcoin logo like keychain for them to remember the event.

No matter how talking about bitcoin may sound good to the children on Children's day, you need to know that talking to children about bitcoins only on that day will not really make any difference. Giving gifts to children is something every child will want, especially those that have never experienced love. You can give them both gifts that they can enjoy like candies etc and also add an educational material that they can keep, something about bitcoins, you have to think creatively. It will require finance, that is something you should know, so you can either seek support, or do what is within your power.

It seems like a good idea to have a big party and give the kids gifts with bitcoins, but to me, giving the kids $60 in bitcoins doesn't really seem right for the kids because it may not be suitable for all children of different ages and they may also be ignorant of bitcoin. So instead of giving such gifts, you can make a party with bitcoin decorations. Make bitcoin-related treats and host bitcoin-themed games with rewards like bitcoin logo clothing. This will leave a stronger impression than giving a gift of cash.

First of all op you  need to understand that everyone in the forum is not from your country so we may not be celebrating the children's day like you tomorrow so we may not know what 27th may is all about as you earlier stated. Back to the question op, since $60 is the amount on your budget you may need to make calculations to know the number of children your expecting and what the $60 can afford so you don't end up spending above your budget or not having items that will be enough for the invited children. I will suggest you think of something that that $60 can afford for the school so you buy it knowing that it will be of great benefit to all the school children instead of buying something that they will eat and don't have a memory of it in the future.

All you need to do to make things interesting for the kids aside buying them gifts, you could get somebody to wear a bitcoin custom that looks funny and dance in the presence of kids, maybe in the mall or amusement park. I was thinking of a means to make it memorable for the kids around me, and concluded that I'll watch them perform in the amusement park or playgrounds with their parents. Hopefully, some kids who are my friends can stop by and greet me too, definitely they'll get a reward for that, it's their day.

OP, makes the celebration as simple as possible but put fun for the kids first.
I don't think it's your responsibility to spread the visibility of bitcoin to kids and their parents, but it's a nice effort to awaken some people who have unhealthy mindsets about bitcoin.

I agree with some contests like what indah rezqi advice, but you need spend some money to do it. I certainly would appreciate your efforts on your plan to spread bitcoin awareness among kids, but you shouldn't spend that much money personally ^{[unless you have a lot].} My advice is, get concept it as simple as possible even if you have to spend some money.

You can organize parlor/party games for these kids aside from feeding them a good meal.  Another option is giving them a gift, it may be a personal thing or a toy, but I think a parlor/party game would give them an exciting experience that they will remember.  Aside from that I can't think of any more fun than the said parlor game.


If @OP mix the celebration with Bitcoin awareness, that would be boring since kids do not care about Bitcoin in that stage of their life.  Giving a question-and-answer competition is not as fun as the parlor/party games.  If @OP is really into Bitcoin exposure then he can design the venue with Bitcoin logos and banners. 

Well, there is a possibility that you could just establish a few pieces of information about Bitcoin on a 2-centimeter sticker, and for every gift pack you are giving to the kids, you can just attach the Bitcoin tinny sticker to those gift package.

OPs, you said the kids in your community; have you made plans on how to gather all those children in your community? I mean, have you sent any information across that you want to have a get-together party with the children tomorrow? If you have already done so, that's good, but my suggestion would have been what I said in the first paragraph. But I don't think there's any way that can be possible since it's just tomorrow.

I do this every year in my nation when we celebrate children's day (different day here) and when I do that I cash out my bitcoin and do two things. First of all toys for them, no matter how technologically advanced we became, regular children's toys for poor children is still an important aspect, you can't buy tablets for them all, but you could buy Barbies and kens for them, well usually different brand to make it cheaper so you can buy to many of them.

My mother thought me this, she celebrates her own birthday at orphanages for decades now, it's a tradition for her, she goes there and helps the children, and if there are poor families with children around her house, she always helps her. It becomes burden really :D because I had periods of my life like today where I have nothing, and I helped others instead of fixing my own problems, now I am dirt poor like them, but at least I know they are happy.

That’s a great philanthropic work you want to do here and I must say it is a commendable idea to carry on and the kids and parents will appreciate it no matter how little it is.

Planning on organizing a great event at this final moment will really be a bit stressful and you might not end up achieving the goal you’re aiming for. Also, I think the money you’ll use to decorate even the place for the event to take place will cost you and then you’ll want to gift the children after they end up winning a game you want them to play that day. Unless you have a place reserved for the event already.

I think a great and easily accessible method to make the event exciting is getting gifts and get them wrapped with bitcoin inscriptions on them, it’ll raise awareness amongst the children and also the parents that may likely come around to witness the event also.
 

The best thing to do is to organize a small event for them and buy them some gifts like chocolates and other things as you wish to spend $60 for them as children day celebration to make them have some fun and be happy for the children day celebration. You don't need to do much,you can choose from any of the suggestion made by posters above. You know how many children that you have in mind and their ages,make a proper budget so that you can do it in a unique way. Make sure that whatever arrangement you are planning for,music,drinks and gifts should be part of it because these are what will make the children to be happy and not get bored. Enjoy your day with the children in a unique style.

I guess different countries have different dates for the children’s day. Nevertheless I see that you want to spend it a memorable way and want all the children to enjoy it as well. Maybe you can take them to a children park, where they can enjoy playing with swings and slides, and later on try to have a special lunch with those children. In this manner, I am definitely sure that they will spend the day with full of amusement. I won’t advise to teach children about Bitcoins, as in this time period they should be occupied with some innovation and discoveries, and I don’t want to take pressure about the cryptocurrencies.

I think that the priority should be on child safety, care, and joy. Giving BTC to minors (as giving any money to minors) can be seen as problematic unless it's a registered charity, or you get the approval of their parents. I sure know that I wouldn't have taken any money from strangers as a kid because it's likely to come with a catch and be a really bad thing in the end. So you have to be careful with how your good intention may be perceived.
If you can do something like public events, or you already work with kids as a tutor or something, I suppose you could make a quest game for them with the prize being in BTC. For smaller kids, I'd recommend something like watching animated shows, and I've recently seen one about Bitcoin specifically.
