Title: At How Much Price You First Saw The Bitcoin?
Post by: BD Crypto on May 27, 2023, 07:24:54 PM
It's really a great feelings when I was searching my transections through Bitcoin in my old Coinbase Account . And saw that I have made many transections when the Bitcoin price was around 586$ only. Yes it's only Because this Bitcoin already hit above 60k $. I am enjoying today's moment because today I have imagined my past and it was the golden era of Bitcoin. I am talking about 2016.

Today I have again learnt a good lesson that Hold is Gold. I have made many transections and I had a decent amount of Bitcoins but If I could hold them then I would become one of a successful Holder. But my luck wasn't so good I think. But I still have chances because Bitcoin is now also in a very cheap price. So Always Keep Trust On Bitcoin And Hold Tightly. At the end of time you will win surely.

i know Bitcoin around October 2014 and the Bitcoin price at that time was around 330$.
Just like you said that Hold BTC is gold because at that time i always sell the coins that i got from a faucet and never really hold it for long time.

Around $13000 in 2018.

I got to know Bitcoin at around January 2014 and when I search back the price of BTC during those time is around $890  it was a few months after the peak of the bull run, after the Bitcoin market recorded its 2013 ATH. And on the later month, the price of BTC crashed to $300+.

It is really regretful that we don't pay much attention to buying BTC at that time thinking that it was too expensive to buy and now we realized that it was too cheap back then.

Not entirely sure the price but it's probably in 3 digit figures when I came across bitcoin.

But not convinced until it reaches big heights that no one ever expected to happen in that short span so my first buy is around $3000 per BTC.

Not a significant amount, it was probably in the range of $8,000 to &$9,000 at about early 2018 and I was just learning about how it hit what was then a very remarkable price of almost $20,000. I still had to do a lot of learning during the period and wade through a couple of altcoins before starting to stack up sats.

The cheapest I've seen Bitcoin is a little over $3,000 as at late 2018. This just goes to put into perspective how changes in price affects the sentiment towards the market. At that time $3k was the bear period and now $30k is a bear period.

Well, i came to familiar with BTC in 2018 and spent a whole lot of time in earning it for free using my Laptop and unfortunately did not collected of even 1$ nor bought. I only focused to earn it for free while having no knowledge well that's another thing. But when i gets familiar with BTC its price was around $4k to $4.5k. I was a student at that time and did not have any money so i talked with my cousin and asked him he was also out of money and we both thought to borrow money to buy some BTC but as we both were students and have no jobs to do which could bring money and thus we could pay the lender back so we dropped the plan. And still now we have the same feelings as before, but now we are making some money but not that much to invest in BTC. So we are still dropping the plan but i do want to collect at least 1 BTC but saying so will not make it happens so let's see what is in my luck.

Been looking at bitcoin since 2015, back when it was just 100 bucks. I studied it and found that it had this massive upward trend ever since it was conceptualized so I figured it would be great to invest in it or to work for bitcoin basically. So I registered on this site soon as I realized this forum exists, and from then on bitcoin has been my biggest financial weapon, that allowed me to reach financial freedom. I've known people over the internet that have been investing or observing bitcoin as early as 2010-2012, which I must say is the glory days considering how much cheaper you could buy bitcoin during those times and how massive the turnouts would be had I invested on it.

Congratulations OP, most of us here actually have been in the same boat as you, it's all about timing, but since you're still in bitcoin you'd have all the chances in the world to invest and reap profits eventually.

I saw it first in 2013 when it was $100-150, but I got involved after the 2013 bull market when it begun to crash down from 1k. There were many different times and prices when I bought bitcoin. I don't remember what my first ever transaction was, but it had to be somewhere between $400 and $600 in 2014. I remember that I kept buying throughout the year and I also got into some signature campaigns when bitcoin was cheap and kept the earned coins.

Keep holding guys, bitcoin is the real sound money. When you get to a point at which inflation costs you $50k a year, you start looking for alternatives.

I fully participated in bitcoin at the year 2022 May although I registered in the month of April. And fully participate in the month of May 2022. And at that time bitcoin was at the range of $41 to _42k. And late the following the month the price of BTC just came down very well till now. So  I am hoping to see another great price of bitcoin towards this year ending. Though every year has it own way of the price analysis buy I believe this year end there bull sign of the digital. Currency.

Well I can't remember the price of Bitcoin when I saw it infact I was not even paying attention to the price of Bitcoin when I was at the early stages of getting acquitted with it, well a big thumbs up to the person that introduced me to crypto-currency, I wasn't taught that Bitcoin was going to make me so rich, I was taught about the potentials of Bitcoin and how it would be a recognized currency in the future.

I think we have become to carried away by the price that we are losing touch with the real value and purpose of Bitcoin, I think there are many other fast investment opportunities if that's anyone's main Aim.

I think the price was around 20k when I got in, I really can’t remember but it was still more than I could afford at the time so I bought some fractions of bitcoin and it was a gratifying experience to finally own some bitcoins.

Today I have again learnt a good lesson that Hold is Gold. I have made many transections and I had a decent amount of Bitcoins but If I could hold them then I would become one of a successful Holder. We can all choose to wallow in regret, in my case I could beat myself about why I didn’t buy bitcoin back when it was less than $100. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Not everyone can hodl their bitcoins for so long, at least you made your profits and still have some bitcoin left.

Bitcoin was worth approximately $200 during my first interaction with it, somewhere between 2013 and 2014. Unfortunately, I wanted to purchase it but didn't have the means to do so. However, I at least tried to remain active in the cryptocurrency scene by browsing the forum and using faucets to accumulate a small fraction of Bitcoin, which was later worth a few hundred dollars. Those were great times that we'll never see again, but overall, it has been a great journey, acquiring stunning experiences throughout the years.

Personally, I don't regret anything. Holding is great and all, but at some point we will all end up selling our coins; it's an inevitable process. I have several old transactions that would now be worth a fortune, but I'm not bothered by them; I couldn't have known better at the time.

On the time that I had first awareness about Bitcoin or learn with it is on the time that it does still have that $100 per coin or btc on which accumulating on this days is really that simple
Even with just signature campaign on which I do remember that they do give out 0.04 or more per weekly on which it is really that easy to accumulate a whole coin on that time.Regrettable  part is that I do really make out active cash outs and conversions  on which it do cause out for me to be able to actively spending my coins and I wasn't able to accumulate even a single coin because I'm really that in need of money in part of my weekly needs which I would need to cash out those things but well this isn't something that we could really turn back in time.

When first heard about bitcoin was when bitcoin pumped to around $20k and dump to around $3k, actually I was being told and I haven't joined crypto space by then, but I started investing in bitcoin when the price was around $10k, and have been accumulating bitcoin with any extra amount am having, and I will continue to accumulate more bitcoin.

Some people started investing in bitcoin when the price was still very low, but some people started investing recently, but the fact is that whenever you are opportuned to invest in bitcoin, then don't be discouraged that the price is already high. When bitcoin price got to $10k, most people tough that the price was too high and they didn't invest but we all saw bitcoin all time high, so don't think it's late to invest in bitcoin.

I am new to bitcoin investment because I don't have much knowledge on bitcoin. I have known of bitcoin since 2020,when I some of my friends were into it but I wasn't that interested because I don't have much as extra cash which I can risk to invest in bitcoin. At that time the price was between $8,600 to $9k range. I joined this forum early this year to learn and grow on my bitcoin journey. So if you ask me about the price,I will say 19k when I bought my first bitcoin. Those early investors are the ones that bought bitcoin very cheap since they believed in it earlier. Those investors that hold on to their bitcoin from that time till now must be proud and happy for their patience and knowledge on holding for long.

Holding and accumulating for a very long time is the best strategy for your bitcoin journey.

I first became acquainted with Bitcoin when its price was around $700, although I cannot precisely recall the exact year, it was likely in 2016 or 2017. Unfortunately, at that time, I didn't recognize the potential of Bitcoin and missed the opportunity to accumulate it. However, my perspective shifted when the price surpassed $3,000, prompting me to start accumulating Bitcoin and engaging in trading activities. As of now, I possess a substantial amount of Bitcoin. Since I enjoy capitalizing on its volatility, I don't hold Bitcoin permanently, preferring to actively trade and leverage its price fluctuations to make money.

^BTC price did not reach $1k beyond 2016, it is in 2017.
In 2015 the first I heard BTC price it was $200-$300 but I don't have interest much at that time because I thought it was a scam until such day after a year in 2016 I found this forum and that is the reason I understand very well how BTC work. Imagine, from $200 to $26k at this moment or the previous ATH was in $60k, investing and accumulating that time would be I will sit like a king right now and have financial free.

I also started to appear and be active in 2016 and found out about Bitcoin from my friend. I saw the price of Bitcoin was still around $400 in 2016.
But when I was a beginner at that time, I thought it was a high price just for an unclear digital asset (at that time).
But over time Bitcoin continues to grow and the price even exceeds $1k, according to me it is extraordinary.

Once collected 3BTC from an airdrop and I sold it in the $2k price area and that was the first money I got in Bitcoin, and that was quite a lot for me as a beginner at that time. and if you can hold it until now, of course it will get more and more and go up thousands of percent.

I remember the first time I got into Bitcoin when the price was around $300 probably in the mid of the year 2014. It was easy to earn a few mBTC through faucets back then. I also recall spending a lot on gambling and purchasing various items such as a new laptop. Looking back, I wish I had saved a big portion of my earnings until now but it is what it is i guess.

I believe that if you have the patience to hold onto your Bitcoin without touching it for years it can potentially result in a huge profits. For example let's say I held 10 Bitcoins back in 2014 when each Bitcoin was priced at $3k. If I had done so I would currently have around $267K which is really insane

More than $1000  back in 2017 I got 2 Bitcoinin one of my campaigns but unfortunately, I traded it too soon if I have waited for a few months it could have been ten times of price when I traded it, can't blame myself need money that time and I was out of a job.

I remember it was a great feeling owning 1 Bitcoin much more owning 2 Bitcoin, but now it's almost impossible to own 1 Bitcoin from its current price, but right now each sat is important if we based future predictions of Bitcoin's price.

I first saw the Bitcoin price around $1,000. I knew since I had previously applied to this site for a job that paid you based on your posts. I recall when even newbies could join in signature campaigns, and I'm glad I was one of them, but I didn't earn Bitcoin that way. I gained Bitcoin through participating in bounty programs, but sadly, the value of my token, which was worth 1 Bitcoin, vanished in a matter of days due to a hacking attack on the project. I was heartbroken and remorseful for not turning the token into Bitcoin. I'm only sharing this story because it's still fresh in my mind about what occurred to me at the time. And now, looking forward to get 1 Bitcoin soon.

Oh I remember this clearly! I started on June 2017 and I remember prices of BTC in the market around ~$2,000 and it was consistent at that point. I also remember signature campaigns paying around 0.01 BTC/week and I thought to myself that the offers were really low especially for my rank!

Looking back, I wished I could have HODLed and saved at least 1/3 of what I initially earned during the years of participating on campaign signatures. If BTC has the potential of skyrocketing its price when we all first started, what is stopping it from skyrocketing once again from its current price recently?

I do think that once the next fork happens, its price would definitely reach an ATH where this could be a good investment opportunity for everyone.

I wouldn't like to disrupt this fun moment, but I will want you op to understand that if I am not mistaken similar thread or topic already existed, so it's better next you use search option to see similar topics. However, I started hearing about bitcoin when the price was around below $2k thereabouts but never pay much attention to it.

Though I really missed those days and I believe it was due to lack of understanding about bitcoin, man was so ignorant of it. Just take a good look at price today you will understand that whatever we see we should always try out to utilize the little opportunity even though we don't venture into it fully but at least there are some certain funds we could risk at then that would have turned one's life for good.

Well, it was introduced to me when the price was just over $100..... but I did not buy at that price. I thought it was Monopoly money and I thought it will be shutdown by the governments of the world, like they did with other people who created their own currencies.

It was "Cloak and Dagger" money back then and people bought it secretly on street corners in my country. I did more research and I figured out that it cannot be shutdown and I found a way to buy it online, so I started buying at $300+  :P

It was in the hundreds for me as well, I think somewhere around $400. But back then I thought it was quite expensive because I compared Bitcoin with fiat currencies, and there was no currency as valuable against the dollar that I knew of, so it seemed like a lot of money.
I remember how amazed I was when it started growing rapidly in 2017, suddenly worth thousands of dollars. But I don't regret what I sold and at what price because I sold out of necessity rather than out of greed or impatience. I mean, I didn't have much faith in Bitcoin initially, but that wasn't why I sold.

The words "Hold is Gold" hit me hard and that's the gospel truth. There will always be problems and attacks but those that dare to hold will hopefully end up holding the gold. I came into this sector 1-2 years ago because I was in and out of the bitcoin space until I fully settled last year. I earned my first Bitcoin last year when the price was about $19,804.78 and since then I have tried to hodl as much as I can. I have been tempted to sell due to many financial challenges but I have been able to successfully sort them out without changing my investment plans. I am hoping that the price will go up so that I can be able to invest in areas that will assist me is saving more to increase my Bitcoin hodling. I always wished I came earlier than this but I am still grateful that I was introduced to this sector because it is better late than never.

The first time I saw the bitcoin, it was about the price you quoted. To be honest, I only saw the price, and I wanted to buy btc, but I didn’t do it at that time. But I remembered the price tag of about 600$ for the rest of my life and, most likely, I will often remember it as a very favorable price that I missed.

That's right, that era was really golden. In the sense that people who bought bitcoin then got rich very well.

I learned the lesson that bitcoin should be bought when you first found out about it. Otherwise it will be too late.

Of course, there are always chances. Anyone who is willing to invest in btc. Even now, when the price has increased 45 times since I first saw bitcoin.

I first saw Bitcoin during 2015 with a price of 5000php or equivalent to 100$. I don't know why this price recorded on charts available on the internet but I’m pretty sure that I saw Bitcoin at that level since I manage to cashout some of my profit from faucet and dice gambling through our local bitcoin wallet app called coins.ph.

I relate on the hold part because I hold of my early earnings until the 2017 bull run before I cash out big time to fiat. Looking back at my wallet history brings back memories how I missed becoming a millionaire by losing all my Bitcoin on dice gambling. I think this is my only regrets when I reminiscing my Bitcoin past. It's more painful to lose your early holdings on gambling to early take profit.

Regretting the past may not be a good choice for everyone who until now is still building a better investment portfolio. The past is a memory, and of course there are mixed feelings when we have to remember it. I don't really remember how much bitcoin was worth back then, but maybe $600 - $900 when I was a newbie, way too cheap compared to now.

Meanwhile, being a holder is an option for anyone because you still have to adjust your financial condition when you are planning long-term investment. Everyone agree that bitcoin holders are the ones who have already taken the hefty returns, but only if they ignore the market from then on. Many of them have sold bitcoin in ATH 2017, so I think we're just having a really hard time finding bitcoin holders who bought their bitcoin in 2010 - 2016.

It's not a bad thing to hodl but we shouldn't make it look like those who are buying and selling aren't doing something great. Look at what Lazlo did with the 10k BTC for two pizzas and how it's believed to have started what we've today as the mechanism for Bitcoin transactions. If everyone hodls, there won't be a value to Bitcoin. Its value is derived from the exchange between buyers and sellers.

Bitcoin ranged between $720 – $750 when I first heard of it late 2016. Then I read the history of Bitcoin and discovered there was even a time it sold for less than $0.1 or so. My regret was not knowing about Bitcoin earlier but my consolation is that it's not too late for those of us buying it now. Those who will buy Bitcoin after 2025 will regret not buying it now because price will have gone up real high.

I first saw or heard Bitcoin when it was just around $8-9 per piece, couldn't believe that a single question would make me realize and make me feel so old (LOL).
Now that I think about it I had so many opportunity to hoard back then and it is hard or sadden's me to back track my early transactions specially those which I just spend to gamble for fun, I should have manage my money well but you know what they say experience is the best way to learn.

Now, I remember when I first got wind of Bitcoin, it was valued at $300. Those were the days, weren't they? Your post certainly rekindles the feeling of missed opportunities. "HODL" is indeed a strategy that has paid off for many, but it's essential to remember that it's not the only strategy.

The sentiment of regret over missed opportunities is understandable. However, it's vital not to dwell on the past but to learn from it. Bitcoin is still at a relatively affordable price, and it's not too late to adjust your investment strategy. Yes, HODL may be golden, but it's just as crucial to keep an open mind for other opportunities.

I believe not only me who has a regret for not buying we don't know how or what is the future of crypto so we can't say that our decision is right or wrong it depends on luck i think.

Bitcoin was at about 50k when I first saw it. Since then, I have been holding and accumulating it in my Ownr wallet. To be honest, I have never regretted investing my money in Bitcoin.

Some people think they are very late to Bitcoin, but I still remind them that there were even people who were opportuned to see Bitcoin at a very low price, but they couldn't hold for long before selling off, so probably most of them who are saying they are late might have still sold off so quickly if they had bought Bitcoin at a very low price. You really were opportune to see Bitcoin at a low price compared to when I first saw it at $3000 in 2019. Even if I had bought 2 or more bitcoins then, I would have made a huge amount of money when the ATH came, but for some reason, I was not really grounded in Bitcoin knowledge then and also was not so financially stable then, but I believe there is still time to buy the dip now.

I remember the price very well.  ;D

Don't remember the year but I did some kind of job online, I guess it was a translation, and the guy asked me if he could pay me in btc. I researched it and thought, ok let's do it.

So I got around 2 btc at the price of 120$ . The problem was, max 1 week later the price went to 150$ and the idiot that I was though, "man, 25% gain, let's sell it". And the rest is history I guess, hahaha.

At least I will never forget the price of btc when I first interacted with it, great times and classic fail from me.

That's a pretty expensive price mate, because right when I entered this forum the price of Bitcoin was only around $500 which is even less than that. But at that time I was still very poor and couldn't afford to buy more Bitcoins even though they were that cheap, and besides that I didn't dare to buy either. Because I didn't really understand Bitcoin and the market so I was just a spectator at that time because at that time Bitcoin wasn't as popular as it is now.

But at the moment I also can't afford to buy in large quantities because it's hindered by the price which is already super expensive in my opinion even though the current price is still much cheaper when compared to the ATH level that occurred in 2021 ago, but for me it's still quite expensive for now because I really don't have a lot of money like most other people.

I didn't see it, but I heard about bitcoin being more than $4000+ at that time. It was on a local news saying that it was being used in the dark web in order to play the game called "Blue whale". It was the first time I have ever heard about Bitcoin. I have no idea about what it was and how it works. To me, Bitcoin was a bad thing used by bad people.
Later in 2021, I came to know about cryptocurrency. At first, I only knew about ALTS and was a fanboy of them. Then I saw bitcoin. Which was at $36k at that time. After that, I have seen it grow and fall. Now I am waiting for the next bull run to see it grow again.

You know, this is something I didn't give much attention or importance to when i got interest in bitcoin. I think it was around 2020 when I joined up that i sarted to conceive the idea of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I think the price was around some $15,000 but am not so sure and I didn't have much to invest then an d even at that, I had a lot ot knowing to do so, its wasn't something I would just jump on. Needed to distinct it from Ponzi schemes before I could be at peace with whatever I was about getting into and am glad I did take my time in the end.
Maybe I missed on the chance of making the most out ot the price at the time but, I don't think about it very much. Besides, I didn't have the resources to get in something meaningful.

Well, I first heard of bitcoin when I saw the news on TV at the end of 2018. I saw them talking about the price increase as well as the very rapid decline in a short period of time. I was curious, so I tried to find out how to make money from them. After watching the introductory videos on how to make money from bitcoin through apps, I downloaded and followed them and actually earned bitcoin, even though it's really not much. But to say that my feelings at that time were really hard to describe, Through this simple thing, I have gradually learned and sunk deeper into this industry, and it has brought me a significant source of profit in life. It's true that sometimes luck can change your whole life.

I sold my holdings way back 2016, before Bitcoin records its ATH that cycle the following year.  It is somehow regretable but well I needed the fund so there is nothing I can do.  Those who are able to hold their stash and has other funds to support their needs and don't experience an emergency that needed a huge amount of money are lucky since they don't have to sell their holdings prematurely.

did not have a price yet

Are you waiting for Bitcoin at $100? I think you are too early for this. j/k  ;D In a serious note, you should start thinking of buying now since the bull run is just around the corner.  You might miss the opportunity if you keep on waiting.

Hodl is gold, I tell you that really. Imagine the year 2016; the price of bitcoin was about $586. Many investors must have sold their bitcoin at that time in a similar manner to how you did. They will regret selling bitcoin at a lower price when they think back on it, just like the way you did now to remember your past dealing with bitcoin when it was cheap.

The majority of us here must have been selling our bitcoin for private purposes. After a few years, we'll wonder why we sold our bitcoin for $27,000 when we should have kept it for at least $100,000.

As bitcoin continues to spread over the globe, this is how the circumstance for the bitcoin price will change from time to time for everyone to observe.

When I first became interested in bitcoin, the price was around $2,000 back in June 2017, but I didn't buy anything until months later. It has gone up in price since then, but the difference is not as dramatic as those who have been around longer and saw the price in 3 digits, or even 2. Let's think that I saw a 10x that year, up to about $20,000, and today it is at $28,000. To look at it positively, $20,000 was the top of the cycle and now we are at a low. Let's hope so.

Over time I came to know that bitcoin is a profitable product. Here is my new ID but I have been investing in bitcoin for a long time. Been doing it. But now the price of bitcoin is $27000+ thousand plus. Relatively less than before. Hope bitcoin will come back to that previous place.

When I first saw Bitcoin, it was trading at $58,000.After that, its price went down, and then I saw Bitcoin trading at $16k.You are very lucky to have seen Bitcoin at $586 at such a low price.

You are absolutely right that Bitcoin is still available at a very affordable price. If one has capital and can hold after buying Bitcoin then this is a golden opportunity for him, because you may not get Bitcoin again at this price next year. If Bitcoin is available at a low price, this opportunity should not be missed. Anyone who knows about Bitcoin knows how a low cost investment in Bitcoin can yield huge returns in the future. The only crypto currency among all crypto currencies that you can fully trust and rely on.

If my memory does not fail me I think the very first time I saw the price of bitcoin it was close to 190 dollars, a very low price compared to its current price, and like many I would have liked to invest more money at those prices, however I will admit that even if I saw the potential bitcoin had, I never imagined that it would be reached at such speed.

Still I have learned to let go of those feelings long time ago and simply enjoy bitcoin for what it is, even if I missed on a big opportunity back then.

Golden era of Bitcoin? Last 2016? Can somebody elaborate this one for me because I only started to involve into cryptocurrency August-September of 2017. I'll be grateful to somebody who will explain it to me. :)

Well, base on the price movement of Bitcoin in the last decade, Hodling really is the way to earn money aside from trading of course. If you aren't a good trader, simply holding will give you more profit. Unfortunately, most of the investors don't have the patience to hold Bitcoin for a long time, and when they see somebody holding a huge amount of Bitcoins, and he bought it way when Bitcoin is just a few years old, they will feel envious, but might change their way of investing into Bitcoin after that.

I also made huge transactions when Bitcoin's price was at 4 digits. My largest transaction with the use of Bitcoin is when I built my very own PC. I think the price of Bitcoin at that time is at $9,000, and if I'm not mistaken, I spent around 0.09 BTC just to build a PC. Not feeling disappointed or regret because I didn't know that Bitcoin's price will reach $60,000 a few years after that, but I learned from it that I must continue holding Bitcoins for at least 5 years or even longer to achieve maximum profit possible.

i know Bitcoin around October 2014 and the Bitcoin price at that time was around 330$.
Just like you said that Hold BTC is gold because at that time i always sell the coins that i got from a faucet and never really hold it for long time.
Crazy times indeed. Those years were like my teenager years and I was like thinking that Bitcoin was just an illegal coin being used in the darknet and hodling one here in my country would result me behind the bars. If only my misconception were cleared out that time, I could have bought almost more than a whole coin to this date.
But hey, I don't regret anything anymore.

Faucets were like profitable those times, ey? Right now they're almost always waste of time. I never was able to withdraw anything from those faucets anymore these days.

Around $2000-$4000 at around August of 2017.
I'm pretty sure that there are some here who saw Bitcoin at a lower price.
Damn, that's really crazy considering that ATH of around 20k was around that corner in that year if I can recall correctly before it plummeted down to around 6k in 2018. I was still like looking for profitable ICOs earlier that year, lol.

I couldn't remember perfectly, but Bitcoin was in three figures when I first started my crypto journey from third quarter of 2016 and throughout 2017 and till date, I was able to start buying in the first quarter of 2017 and I made good gains by the third quarter of 2017, I never knew that January 2018 Bitcoin would make a new ATH at the time.

I learnt a lot, I made some bad choices, and I was still buying at the top instead of selling, until March of 2018 when the crypto market start fading into a bear market, for me, every first lesson is a hard lesson.

That was when I started researching the crypto market cycle, and I fully understand that the bull market was meant for selling all you have accumulated in a bear market.

I don't recall exactly the first time I see the price but as far as I remember I heard about bitcoin around 2010 maybe then I joined the wave in 2015 if I am not mistaken. At that time the price was dropping to less than $200, around $170 in some exchanges. I wasn't able to buy what I want at that time unfortunately and imagine seeing the price goes more than 100% just two years later then more than 300% years later.
Good old time, back then things were easier and opportunities to earn from scratch were possible. Obviously even now buying bitcoin is profitable although fluctuations.

That probably happened with a lot of us, we had some Bitcoins back in the day but we never kept any of it and spent it all on stuff that we needed back then, maybe because we didn't know that the price will go up this much or we really needed some money and that forced us to sell our Bitcoins for fiat and spend it on materialistic things.

I did the same and though I regret not keeping any of it, I feel that I didn't actually waste them as they were used when I needed money and that is what's important, right? We earn money so that we can use it for our lives and that's what we did.

I knew about it in 2014 but didn't know the price then but in 2015 I first brought my bitcoin. The price was around 500$. I remember how no one around my town didn't know about bitcoin. I felt proud at that time because I was one of the few that have bitcoin and knew about bitcoin. I was earning and investing bitcoin into some companies online but later they scammed and lost a huge amount of bitcoin. Now I don't invest bitcoin in any third party companies I invest bitcoin in my wallets.

I've built good relationships with my friends and my wife right now and found the true meaning of life.

That is also the time I discovered bitcoin around $500+, and I've also remembered that I did want to purchase a whole bitcoin at that time with my loan, as I was planning to take out a loan and invest in it, but it changed my mind and I bought a computer, which is the time I've earned bitcoins at that time, which still didn't save it as I spent all of it purchasing stuff and eating in fancy restaurants, but again, I was glad that time that I spent those bitcoins I've earned.

Just imagine if you haven't used your bitcoin before to buy your needs; for sure, you'll struggle or you can't treasure those moments in time. I mean, yes, the price is too high, and if you hold it and sell it now, for sure, you can buy it 10 times or more, but again, the time wasted that took you a few years to buy it and also the hustle you put into it It is like you purchased a PC at that time to use on learning crypto, but again, because you think that it is kind of a waste of bitcoin, you didn't purchase one instead you waited a few years and sold it. Yes, yes you can buy a good PC, but in that span of time there is a possibility that you can earn more bitcoins. It happens for a reason, which is why I didn't regret spending my BTC way back then.

I don't like flashing back on the miss on bitcoin, it is better to move on and get to overlook this. I did not have anything doing with online translation as at that time, it was always by bank and I have those paying some internet subscriptions for me. Let me assume that those were what took my attention from bitcoin because I could remember that I sighted it the price when it was $660/BTC if am correct then and wanted to use bitcoin.com for the wallet. The fear of losing my money was the reason why I did not further with the plan. Things were not like this 7 yeas ago where enough of information that give boldness to my decision can be read. I know I will not miss for long, bitcoin is always for us.
