A friend who is an upcoming crypto influencers have exposed the main goal of many crypto influencers.

I am not ready to disclose him real youtube identity, for safety purposes, and please don't ask, he is a very close friend.

He swore that many new projects have tried to pay him to talk about some shit coins on his YouTube, which he always turned down, he also said he plan to quit this influencers thing for twitch streaming instead( gaming online ) because crypto influencer is all about feeding people lies upon lies, and he doesn't feel good about it.

Crypto influencers are always the first to get involved in shit projects and they talk about the project to their followers so that the followers can pump their bags, and they take profits without telling you a thing, poor people, they keep holding to the project for the long term.

They are paid over 600$ per tweet on their Twitter accounts by those developers that have shit coins built up in seconds, the criteria of the influencer is loads of followers like 50k to 100k and more.

The fastest way they make money is talking about shitcoins, things that many followers want to hear from the YouTubers, so that everybody is happy and their followers will keep increasing.

Crypto Influencers end goals

1. They make fast money in short term and still invest the money back into Bitcoin and Ethereum, do not be surprised, they used you using shitcoins to get the bests, (BTC and ETH), my friend said he PMed a popular crypto influencer and he claimed that BTC and ETH are still his best, and he his shilling shitcoins on his Youtube channel to all his followers.

2. The numbers of their follows and viewers makes them even more money and the fastest way to grow is telling people want they want to hear, like Shiba will do 30x in 2025, this increases the number of their followers faster.

3. Promoting shit projects also brings in loads of followers on their Twitter accounts, making them looking for attractive for new projects and they are been approached by the new projects to shill their shit projects for them, paying them in return.

Honestly, crypto influences makes more money than anyone in a bear market, and that set them up for life even without a bull market, people are been used and they don't even have a clue about what these people are doing.

Know what you are doing, gain knowledge yourself and make your own decisions, if you fail it's even better, you will be able to adjust yourself than following someone blindly.

Actually many people depends on a promotion of coin and purchase a coin, but the information by cryptocurrency influencer can be known except that you have not come across of influencers before, if you want to invest in a particular project don't look at the information coming from twitter and other social media before you invest, if you really depends on such informations it will make you as investor to invest wrongly, what we need to do before investing in any new projects is to make a research concerning the sponsors of the project through Google research not by Instagram neither twitter kind of promotion, because almost 80% of twitter information concerning new projects are false.

An Average person in Crypto for at least five years should know how it works. It's an open secret that crypto influencers work for those developers and get paid. If people believe that those crypto influencers are suggesting the right coin which will do 100x in the next few weeks or months, that's the mistake. Not too long ago, I tended to follow a youtube channel named Fomotion. He is a Dutch guy, and every time he comes up with his videos, he used to say this is hidden gems, and he is bringing them up. He used to give away, and many people trusted him because he also invested in those projects.

What people don't know is those are not real money. The developers gave them a few bucks to make the contest for his viewers, and that's it. I remember I bought some shit coins even though I knew those would be zero in no time. Being a crypto influencer is more like telling a lie in people's faces and making money by telling a lie. People with a good hearts will eventually exit from doing such things.

Being an influencer means he must be able to spread something good to many people. But sadly, the number of good influencers is not that many and most influencers want to make a lot of money from what they post, no matter if it's a shitcoin, as you say.

If your friend doesn't want to do it anymore, he can just turn down such offers and prefer to provide information about the true things about crypto. And we also can't deny that that's what's happening on many social media. Where there are influencers who provide info, that's where the money is, but it also depends on the audience because they will choose it for themselves.

Be careful when you watch influencers on social media, filter what you watch, and look for more information that might be useful to you. And if you want to become an influencer, try to be a good influencer and provide the right information.

Anyone can see the hyping method done by those influencers since if they always promote shitcoins on their channels then this is real red flag to anyone. To many crypto influencers are like this and their main intention is to gain money and they doesn't care about what are the consequences of what they do. This reminds to anyone that before believing on what people say either they are famous or not check always the back ground so that we can see their intentions and why they exert so much effort on promoting those projects or products.

Not all social media influencers are actually into crypto promotion; it's left for your friend to just choose whatever thing he came to YouTube to do, choose his own brand, and make good things out of it. Crypto promotion can actually be very tempting most times, especially for those crypto projects whose main purpose is to attract potential investors who will invest in their shitproject, which will create room for them to rug pull and leave the buyers in the gutter.

Most of the time, most of them actually sign a deal with the project owners that will make them part of the benefactor, so they can actually share part of the profit made from their channel. Since most people who are following them on their channel believe in them, most of the time they just do whatever their channel tells them to do.

If people who are exploring online could be able to do their own research and not rely on these influencers, then some sort of scam and rug pull will be reduced, and we will have fewer victims complaining about being scammed.

Endorsing some coins is a sweet income for low-mid-tier influencers, and that's a well-known issue in the crypto community, in other words, it's no longer a secret. However, once they got big and have bigger reach, this practice becomes less. Perhaps they are afraid of getting arrested and stuff. Product endorsement is nothing new on youtube with all these techtubers, even power tools, and kitchen gadgets have their own shills ;D The problem here is that altcoins are mostly junk without any merit other than pump and dump. They also violate the law that states endorsement must be explicit so that we know which is genuine and which is a paid advertisement.

For me, instead of demanding Youtube to take action, which is slow and inconvenient, the do your own research (DYOR) mantra is a must. Also, people need to know that making money via flipping coins / investing in altcoins and penny stocks is extremely high risk. Basically, you're playing with fire.

You know, I will never believe that if a person is offered money on the Internet, he will refuse it. It is in your post that you say your friend is a future crypto star. And what do the stars need for their glory? They will promote themselves one way or another if he refuses $600; what will he say if he is offered $6,000? It's just that your friend is not worth the money, and people will be able to find a replacement for him. Everything has its price. People on YouTube are people who make money from views. Why ask a YouTuber to promote a crypto project? The answer is self-imposed: money. Therefore, all crypto-influencers for this or that money will do what they are told. As long as there is demand, there will be supply.

Thats work simply if the guy has really traction, views, shares and followers. Since the interaction can be seen now they knew if the user is bringing value to their project. Its quite easy to do a follower rain on twitter now or youtube. The very easy way is do an airdrop instructions and they will definitely follow you cause they dont want to miss a thing to have free tokens. So these people will follow anything that useful to them. Same goes with the project that tapped services of an influencer.

It is nothing new, they get paid to at least give these shitcoins and projects to have some exposure on their contents. Even like making some discussions and will have some script that they'll be given by those projects like "Look, I've found an interesting project" will say the name but then there's some disclaimer that it's not a financial advice. And for these projects, that's already more than enough specially if the influencer always gets a lot of viewership for every video they make like thousands. That's like a one time - payment for these influencers and after that, they'll just forget that they've advertised these projects and will ignore if their viewers will ask them what happened to the project that they've shilled before.

You should know tgis that no any crypto influencer will deliberately work on your own interests than it pays them, which means they were being paid to carry on with a specific task base on the target they have on the people they are dealing with, most of them were also a promoters of altcoins, tokens and other crypto platforms or exchanges, they have their own good and the bad side, simce they got hired to do what's being demanded from them.

They ensure they make the best presentation on it just to make sure that they give a quality delivery on their promotional efforts in what they are advertising, we need to be careful in knowing what crypto decision we are taking before investing on them in other not to be only enticed by the influencers who are promoting those coins in cryptocurrency.

Maybe it's all new and strange to you, but the whole shitcoins industry works by first ensuring adequate advertising, and then listing on as many exchanges as possible. All this is actually one big lie and deception in which the owner of the project, the so-called influencer, and of course the platforms that serve for advertising, make money.

I won't say that even some ordinary mortal earns something in all this, but they pick up only crumbs, although the majority lose everything they invest - because their loss actually generates a big profit for all those I have already mentioned. If people were just a little less naive and spent less time on various social platforms, I am sure that they would be much better off in life, and that they would have much more money left in their pockets.

You have to decide to accept an offer or skip it. You can make bad decision to accept an offer from a shitcoin project that can be just a shit coin but can become a rug pull later. You don't know how that project will end with whether a rug pull but a shitcoin is what you know at beginning. With your experience to build up a channel that is big enough to receiver offers from projects, you should have enough ability to differentiate shitcoins.

At the end, if people spend money to a shitcoin and blame that they do it only because of influencer, they have no valid reason to blame their losses on anyone else. We are  no longer kids with money in hands and so-called ourselves as investors. So investment decisions are for matured people, not kids and we are fully responsible for what we do with our capital.

Crypto Influencing is a form of business to these people and just like every other business the end goal is always for their own benefits not yours. Knowing that their actions are always streamlined to benefit themselves, you will need to be very careful with them knowing that they always have their own interests first before your own. If the SEC had not stepped in to ensure that celebrities and Influencers online do not just endorse Cryptocurrency without declaring that they were paid for it, there would have been many more people who have been deceived by celebrities and Influencers to invest in some Cryptocurrency that they will regret.

People who are new to the cryptosystem or who wants people to tell them on which coins to invest are the ones that will fall for all these lies on social medias by crypto influencers. I see those influencers as greedy and misleading set of people who lie to make funds from project developers.

In other words,both the developers and the influencers are working hand in hand to scam newbies or the ignorant ones of their hard earned money through social media. It is better in whatever investment you want to get involved in,that you do your own study and have a proper knowledge on it,instead of seeking advise or listening to some kind of people on social media. I have seen that social media is been used in a negative way.

Greed is the reason why people get trapped in scams and Shilling projects. They fail to do their research d conducting due diligence to having more knowledge and idea of the investment they are about going into.
Crypto influencers are the medium through which these scammers perpetrates evil acts. They know what the masses and investors wants to hear so they play inline with their minds and intelligence to get at the in investing in their scam projects. It is unfortunate many are still ignorant of the  gimmicks and tricks of these influencers and their paymasters.

I don't care where they invest or keep their money because the money was obtained by tricks. They deceived the followers they claim they have their best interest at heart. Their act is just like scamming people and investing money in Bitcoin. With an increase in these deceptions, it is high time the government makes laws that will make them responsible for the product they advertise. They should be held to account for the content of their social media accounts.
I have learned from experience never to trust anybody because people are influenced by money. They don't care if you die of a heart attack or high blood pressure became of your financial loss. I don't rely on any advice I see on social media even if it looks real or achievable. I do my research by getting information from different sources then I make my decision. It will be more tolerable if my decision was based on my knowledge than to be deceived by a person that claimed he cares.

Not all crypto influencers are feeding people lies; there must be other influencers who are doing their best to promote reliable coins and other things, and not just crypto influencers. I believe that, as an influencer, you should have as much knowledge as possible about the coin you want to promote and how reliable it is by conducting thorough research on the project. However, if influencers promote shitcoins, some of them solely rely on the money that will be paid to them, which is why some didn't bother to do the necessary thing.
 
However, without doing any research on the quality of the project, which is problematic in my opinion because if you promote it, get investors, and then the project doesn't materialize, the entire attention will be on you, which will damage your reputation for future projects,

A lot is happening in the cryptocurrency world and those that are not aware of this are the ones that do fall Victim and end up losing there money to shit coins that could become a rug pull within a little time frame. I have bought some crypto coins that never yield any profits because the main reason the coin was created is to deceive investors and take away the profits.

This is not a new thing that is happening in the market and we have to be prepare to avoid those kind of projects because they don't last. They are always looking for cryptocurrency influencers to promote there project so that more investors can join the project. This would never stop unless the government comes in and sanction projects that tend to scam investors of there hard earned money.

We need to be ready to do research in the market so that we are not going to make the mistake of investing in projects that would never go anywhere. We need to ask questions when we are investing in crypto projects so that we can be rest assured that where we are putting our money is a genuine source.

What you should understand is that they all have their different thought and a pattern a Crypto-currency influencers follow, first I must give it to them they actually have done the work by knowing about crypto-currency that is why some of them still remain relevant, but the issue here is that they now have started to monetize their social Media account compromising the trust that got them to the level they are now, I remember during the LUNA issues when it was dropping, a crypto influencer actually said he just put in a huge amount on Luna this actually caused a friend of mine to get Luna without hesitating, we all knowledge the outcome of that coin.

I don't think we should blame the influencers if they decide to gain from their account, it's left to everyone to always do their research don't take any influencers word and act on it without checking your potential risk acting on it.

This only proves that majority of the crypto influencers, or whatever you are influencing to, are certainly greedy and have always been selfish in their own desires. Where there is money, greedy people stay. This is the reason why we need to be more vigilant and very cautious on everything that we hear or see online, as most of them are being manipulated or forced to do so for the sake of money. That is why we need to increase our own knowledge and rely on our own selves than to trust crypto influencers and make us fooled with fake information.

If hyping shitcoins were only the means to stay them at profits, crypto influencers will chose to do that and make good amount of money. That is their job and they are paid to do that so it’s not their problem anymore if people end up losing their money in shitcoins. This is the reason why people should not believe easily on everything they see online, especially for beginner investors where greed is high. Before taking the risk to invest, know and understand what to invest in the first place, and how it will be profitable in the long run.

This doesn't surprise me tbh, especially having experienced the ICO era this was normal,  besides whats different about this from what bounty hunters here do for these new projects by sugar coating staff and what not...nobody says bad things not until something bad happens. Which is why the rule of thumb when it comes to investments is do your  own due diligence before committing to invest as your are responsible for any loss from a bad decision made!

But then again it makes sense to use them as they have the followers and projects are taking  advantage of this fact, besides most crypto influencers that care about their audience usually have a non liability  clause whenever they make such content so let's be careful with these guys!

Nobody can influence me in bitcoin in particular, even though I am not a computer programming person to know the technical side of bitcoin, nobody can deceive me anymore. After my first seminar of bitcoin, I have not attended any other one till I joined this forum to fully learned my bitcoin journey. Crypto influencers can only influences those who are novice in the system.

There's no general crypto influencer. There are guys who report on the news and in a way are crypto personalities that make youtube videos about cryptocurrencies, and there are people who literally pump shitcoins and promote scams. If you're looking for a good, informative channel, there's plenty of them to choose from. Stephan Liveira for instance does a good job.
He's exactly the opposite of people like bitboy, who are the scourge of the crypto youtube. Unfortunately, there's more bad apples than good ones in this batch.

If you're new to crypto and lost among the multitude of youtube channels, I'd generally avoid any channels that want to tell you about this exciting new project. I'd also avoid channels that were involved in promoting scams. You can google the name of the channel you're interested in and check if they weren't involved paid promotion of failed projects.
Last but not least, avoid analysts, especially people who add a new prediction every week saying that because we crossed this or that line we'll now go to this price and next week they backtrack and say that it's another price and another and it never happens the way they say.

If you are actually wise and knowledgeable, regardless if you are a newbie or not, you will know from the start that crypto influencers are not there to help you become profitable, but to stay them at profits knowing they are being paid of what they supposed to write or tell. So never rely on crypto influencers as they will only push you into your own weaknesses. Have your own will to gain knowledge and skills, that way you’ll be free from the negative intentions of crypto influencers.

This is what every smart individual should know about the crypto space be it a novice or a newbie, as long as you are smart and knowledgeable enough to decipher some situations, you can not fall victim of these so called social media crypto influencers that have caused lots of wreckage to peoples lives and funds in the name of promoting shit coins and scam projects all year round to the detriment of their follower ship  and at their own selfish interest. crypto influencers are the conduit for the pump and dump game. They are always willing to play to the tune of their paymaster as long as the situation favours them in a big way causing havoc to unsuspecting investors and their followers.

I am surprised some crypto influencers still participate in cryptocurrency marketing that has to do with lying to the investors some of them accumulate the promoted project. Isn't this the reason why the US SEC penalized some celebrities that hype some crypto project without revealing the risk and damage involve?
Elon Musk systematically did the same thing when he used the Dogecoin logo on Twitter.

Most of them don't get to invest more than $10 - $50 on a project and they are always ready to take profit with the least growth on the project. In many cases, the coins comes free for them and with the lots of crypto or prospective investors out there, always looking out gir where to pitch there investments in altcoins and make the most profit, its not hard to find them blindly following because, some celebrity is on the project or have said a few words on the project in a tweet and a host of others that goes out with unverifiable testimonials.

When you blindly follow, evaluate the risk that could come with it and weight it if you could manage it.

Thanks for what you said, but in my perspective, I don't see it as a secret anymore because I've known this a long time ago already. This is also the reason why I don't watch any videos on Youtube that talks about new projects, meme coins, shitcoins, and some buy recommendations. What I only watch are the videos that are related to technical analysis of a particular high market cap coin like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, etc.

Nevertheless, this is a wake-up call for those newbies out there who are watching, and supporting the influencer that they've always watch on Youtube. I hope that this thread will wake up the minds of those newbies who are solely following the recommendations of these Crypto Influencers hoping that they will make profit on it. I guess this is the time for those who are following some crypto influencers to stop watching them, and instead watch educational videos that will help you learn more about crypto. Avoid videos that are talking to new projects, coin recommendation, meme coin, shitcoins and the like.

Gaining knowledge is the key always. Don't be a blind investor, and rely on what these Youtube crypto influencers are saying. Do your own research like what we always say. Learn the basics of crypto because it will help you know which coins are good to invest, and which are not.

That’s the problem with crypto influencers since they are here not to give you advantage but certainly to take advantage on you. Instead of making you profitable, it’s like they are the ones who become profitable while leaving you at loss. That is why if we keep on relying for them, we will never achieve our goals in crypto. We have to gain knowledge and experience on our own, because that’s the best thing to do. There might be losses along the way but know that they are there to motivate us and not for us to fear and eventually quit along the way.

The secret that they are not making you eventually become experts and make profits, but they are there to lure us and make believe that trusting shitcoins are the best way to make profits when in fact it’s the easiest way to keep us at loss while making their own way to be highly profitable. Newbies should know that crypto influencers are not really genuine and are true to what they have been telling, it’s like they’re wearing a mask to convince us and follow their steps because that’s the only way they’ll make profits from us.

He isn't lying and I think we all know that because it becomes obvious as time goes on. When you have spent some few years in the industry, you'll begin to understand how this influencers work. If you noticed since the market isn't bullish most of the so called influencers has all gone dumb but immediately the market looks bullish again, you'll begin to start seeing them come out of their habitation and you best believe they'll still have those believing all the crab they start promoting and that's because humans can't be easily influenced.

As a newbie don't believe any word from any online accounts advertisment a project or just talking about it to his audience. Influencers comes in different ways, we have those just starting with low followers therefore don't think only those with the large followers are the influencer. Right now is more about the engagement than the followers because you don't need large followers to get your video trending on tiktok or tweets trending on Twitter. If you were to follow an influencer, go with those that pass only information and not investment advise.

They should be arrested for what they are doing. They entice people to invest in a bad project, then gather a large sum of money to invest in better projects. There's some sort of self-interest at work here. But, no matter how many times a red flag is raised for people to dislike a project, they still want to try it out until they're cheated out of their hard earned money.

I believe that for some of them, this is their only source of money, but feeding people lies in order to fill your own pockets is inhumane and should be avoided in society. A disclaimer should be placed on those pages informing followers that they should only invest what they can afford to lose and that the project is not guaranteed to succeed, but this might havoc on such YouTube channels.

That is the real purpose of crypto influencers. They are there not to mainly make us profitable, but to make them profitable instead. Everything that they are saying are well scripted and no matter how those projects they are promoting are real red flags, they will always make it good for us so we can blindly invest for them. That way, their  pockets are full while emptying our wallet instead. That’s how ridiculous trusting crypto influencers, except for those few who have genuine hearts for their followers.

Long story short, some people do it for fun but most of them do it for the bucks. They all pretend they found gems when in fact the only thing happening is they got paid good bags of money and they have to play pretend.

YouTubers who don’t do this aren’t popular enough because viewers want to become rich. It sells so much better to pretend you found awesome coins and then just forget about them after 1-2 videos forever. It doesn’t sell as good when you say the truth and tell your viewers it’s not as easy to make it in crypto as it seems.

Lies over lies over lies. This is why you never trust a stranger for their word. You never know who’s paying them to speak to you like that.

True. Everything has got to do with money. And once they’re paid to do it, they will do everything even making the impossible become possible for people instead. That’s the reason why we can’t trust complete strangers saying that these coins are totally profitable and will make you rich in the long run. Investing in crypto will not make you rich, it’s your attitude and positive mindset as an investor that will make you rich.

It's common knowledge that crypto influencers don't mean those who really love or are interested in the project because of the quality or future of the project. But it's more what projects they've got promoted and they'd do anything, and they get paid for it. Not that every project they sponsor is really good. But because they get paid to make it look like the project is good and how people come to the project. That's why it's really worth watching out for various influences from those who say a hype project will be big. Always do DYOR.
