Title: Lightining Network Green Wallet Post by: mendace on June 12, 2023, 07:29:15 AM Fantastic!!! Blockstream's Green wallet looks like it will release support for the Lighting Network in future versions thanks to greenlight technology and breez's service as liquidity service provider.

I searched here https://blockstream.com/green/, and did not can find details about the Lightning Network, will it be affiliated with the Liquid Network, or in the same way that the Lightning Network works on the Electrum wallet. But it's kind of interesting when you think about it, bluewallet gave up on handling peoples funds for LN and handing the back end LN node. But in the past couple of weeks there have been a couple of other wallets (this one and lifpay https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456290) staring to do it. Makes you wonder who is 'right' Not your keys not your coins, but for small amounts does it really matter? There was some talk about this wallet in the Croatian local board recently. It's a custodial service, but I was surprised to find out that if you deposit to WoS, you can use your coins either on-chain or off-chain. One balance works for both layers and you choose which one you want to use. A very simple entry for Lightning Network beginners.Makes you wonder who is 'right' |
