https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=18WEgEpB5qdCJ8dLBdywtNkHDHCey1iaTc

The coin is in normal condition, but about an half of the public address in the back has worn out.

I bought the coin myself in 2011 from https://casascius.com/

The coin is currently located in Estonia.

Waiting for offers :)

Doesn't seem to be much interest in keeping the historic coin loaded :-\
I guess I will just peel the key :P

You listed as auction without a starting price, what are you expecting?

Can MJ Escrow?
Also, when does the auction end? This seems more like a "WTS".

Escrow is reasonable.

Changed the type/title from "[AUCTION]" to "[WTS]".

Smells like BS.

You should have just set the starting price at 1.2 if that's the minimum you want.

Good luck selling to whoever DMed you

Smells like BS.
Why?
Is the offer of 1.22 BTC too high?

Anyway, I'll wait for few more days to see if there will be more offers.

I just made a deal for a 2013 Cas around that price in a sale. I don’t think the 1.2ish is out of line. Good luck with sale.

Someone with your name contacted me in Telegram.

"

I highly suggest you read this post before you get scammed out of your coin... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277761.0

and posting what offers you have had in dm are irrelevant. Impossible to verify and makes people who are actually interested in buying your coin think twice about giving you an offer.

I'll wait for MJ comment and try to figure out if the offers in DM are real or scam attempts.

Rule of thumb, 99% of people reaching out to you from this forum via telegram are scammers

If I gave you an offer in dm and you tried to leverage it by posting it publicly I would withdraw my offer. Just my 2 sats.

OP, you are setting yourself up as an easy mark to be scammed.

Either spend more time looking over this sub forum practices before trying to sell a high value loaded item yourself or hire a reputable/experienced forum member to conduct the sale and escrow for you.

It clearly wasn't him because if you click on that link now it says the username doesn't exist. Never and I repeat never accept any messages outside this forum for anything you are auctioning here. I've always been the same way even though I've never been a Target of scam attacks like MJ has.

I want to second what owl said.

Just use bitcointalk messages and make sure it is the real minerjones/or whoever you expect a message from. There is a possiblility someone creates an account with similar looking name (using some ascii symbols that mimic normal letter but are actually different). So it always makes sense to check the post history and their TRUST before interacting with anyone on the forum. Only if the real minerjones on Bitcointalk gives you a telegram link, you can (probably) trust it.
For example you can check his user id here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=346731

I do not deal in forum auctions/sales outside this site... especially ones that are not mine.

So if we deduct all the scam offers , what’s the current high bud in this coin? I’m still interested ONLY if M.J can escrow the deal please.  Thank you :)

Well, thanks for clarifications!

Telegram guy seems like scammer so the 1.25 BTC offer is off until he is sending me his ID and a picture of him holding a sign "I offer 1.25 BTC".

So I currently have 2 apparently adequate offers of 1.23 BTC.

No, he IS a scammer... what don't you get about this?

Why are you even dealing with people on Telegram?
It has been proven over and over that you are setting yourself up to get robbed of your btc.

Maybe he will have you peel the private key and send him the funds to pay for the coin?
WATCH OUT.....

Yes, he definitely was a scammer -- he deleted the chat and account after my request for ID and photos.

I'm quite open to people, but I will not let myself scam out of >1 BTC  ;)

I will wait for offers for about 24 hours and then close the auction.
The current highest bid is 1.23 BTC.
