Title: Who is online? Post by: rby on June 28, 2023, 08:27:27 PM I remember I have once or twice seen users online at any time in the forum but I do not remember how I did it. I did some search and found this link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=who). But the link is giving a feedback that the function is disabled. Does anyone know which other way I can go about this?

I do see others online just like you right now; you are showing online, but I believe this active online status seen by users is based on the other users settings.
If we go to our account-related settings, there is a box after the email hidden settings that is actually for "Show others your online status." If that's ticked yes, then others can easily notice when you are online, and if it's left blank, then you will remain offline on others views. Title: Re: Who is online? If anyone set it to be offline by leaving the box checked to be blank, you can still know if the person is visiting this forum by checking 'last active' on the user's profile.
Title: Re: Who is online? Post by: un_rank on June 28, 2023, 09:00:58 PM You do not do anything to see who is online or offline. It all depends on if the feature is enabled or not by the user. Yours is disabled so others are not notified when you are online on the forum and when you are offline.
