Na better excise and untop of that, e no dey use fuel and na small money you go use dey maintain am. Those of us wey grow up for village where bicycle dey like benz go fit relate.

Just as motor get types and class, bicycle too get levels. But the good thing be say you you go fit buy bicycle as your pocket reach. With as little as 30k you go fit buy bicycle even though fairly used one and this will save you plenty transport.

I know say risk dey for bicycle too especially for busy cities but because of the small speed of bicycle, accidents no dey kill like motor and okada accidents.

This is very funny, but na true talk you yarn o. The way things done high due to subsidy matter,transport na another one and man must make movement. Some people for my area don pack their cars and dey enter public transport because if you buy fuel for 530 na air filling station go pump for you. If na waka within your area,you go for use bicycle but if na far place bros you no go for use bicycle if not muscle pull go catch you and you go reach very late. Now wey we dey raining season I no think say bicycle na good alternative because if you starch your shirt come dey ontop bicycle rain come meet you for road na e be say yawah don gas.

Bicycle riding is aerobic exercise good for the body to stay fit and in shape, and also good for short distance journeys below the range of 0-1km due to the increase in fuel price, because this is not the first time the price of fuel is climbing up to #600 to #1k per litre and yet we still survived and we will keep on surviving despite anything that happens, as we Nigerians are good at adapting and we have already adapted to this removal of fuel subsidy long long time ago. Because there is already an update now about how to connect cooking gas to generator to power electricity, and people have started using it, and what remains now go be who go discover how to use that same cooking gas to power car, and I bet you, we go all just leave fuel for them to increase am anyhow they like now.

That's the problem I have with Nigerians our dependency on one thing is too much, and that is why we are always affected seriously every time the government implements any policy, if we had other means of public transportation the subsidy would not have bothered anybody, However, it appears that 80% of transportation is now done by road, which is not what should be the case. Building rails would make interstate travel much easier. If you look at developed nations, you'll see that they hardly ever use their cars. Instead, they take the train or bus. Bro cycling is also a good idea. If you have enough money, you could just buy an electric bike, which eliminates the need to worry about purchasing fuel. All you have to do is charge it.

E be true say with d way tins de go for we kontry transportation cost don bcum a very big issue… but even as e don turn issue, e get tinz wey we no fit go back to cuz dem go de weird nd example na d use of bicycle as primary mode of transportation (na 2023 we de so). I don't think that's the case. People are not shame of getting bicycles for themselves. What they are only afraid of is bad road, accident, the distance they will cover to get to their destinations. If no be that you for see people getting beautiful bicycles for themselves due to the high rise in transportation wey dem d spend for transport.

But to get a more sustainable and risk free road while using bicycle, the government needs to make provision for alternate route for bicycles to only ply on. What currency is that? 30k for bicycle? That's plenty. I bought mine for about $80 4 years ago and use it for 8-10 KM commutes. It's a basic single speed cycle — I heard geared bicycles require regular maintenance, and I hate maintaining things so settled with single speed.

Now, electric bicycles are trending, can purchase here for about $700, if one is satisfied with speed which tends to be 25-30 KM/hr, you get comfort of motorcycle (less or no peddling) with advantages of bicycle, i.e, saving environment, fuel costs, less maintenance.

 The thing we fail to understand na be say when the demand for something dey very high the price go increase and If every body comes decide to buy bicycle the price fit increase from that 30k to 200k or more than, but one thing I like citizens of this our country na be say we dey quick adapt in times of hardship and that na why we dey always survive, if you notice some people done dey convert there generators from using fuel to gas wey dey cheaper and  from my research i hear say eh dey last longer, that one go tell you say for this our country people must always look for other alternatives to survive, maybe time done reach wey dem go start to build power stations for electric cars, and begin to consider am as another alternative since fuel no fit sustain us again due to the hike of em price.
