There are lots of scam p2p traders on the internet so you have to be careful. You can buy from  Bitcointalk marketplace (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0), make sure you’re trading with someone who has a good trust rating and is reputable. Also you can use decentralized exchanges to buy bitcoins, you will not be required to do kyc at any point.  Bisq (https://bisq.network/) is one of the most recommended decentralized exchange, you can try using them.

I searched for threads that may be helpful to you;

It’s a bummer that Localbitcoins isn’t around anymore. I remember when I first got involved with Bitcoin it was very useful. And if you traded with someone with decent feedback you didn’t have to worry about getting any issues.

It’s crazy why they decided to implement KYC and then later shut it down. These days people are pretty much forced to use an exchange which is KYC or Bitcoin ATM which has crazy fees.

You are already in the best site to sell your bitcoin and that is here in Bitcointalk.org . just try to find trusted account or at least use an Escrow if you are dealing big amount for more safer transaction.
there are plenty of good people here that may accept your coins not only bitcoin but even good altcoin as well.
the link has been given on the first reply so try to contact one of them and if needed an escrow then visit this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

You can exchange bitcoin with some members on this forum. Aside that, you have to make use of an exchange, either decentralized or centralized exchange.

You can use decentralized exchange and still be anonymous.

On this forum, you can go to currency exchange and see how thingss are there.

For a decentralized exchange, you can try Bisq.

My friend has recently started using hodlhodl.com and has traded around BTC0.5.

Quote
P2P BITCOIN TRADING PLATFORM
Non-custodial Bitcoin trading solution, we don’t hold your funds.

The key is obviously to DYOR do your own research.

On HodlHodl you can trade directly with other users, HodlHodl are the escrow and
it would be advisable to trade with trusted users who have a positive track record.

The only issue I see from what I'm told is that when a transaction is made HodlHodl
rely on the seller to notify them that payment is made so they can release the funds to the buyer.

I'm sure it works well and my friend has had zero issues.

You can trade via Robosats, Hodlhodl, Bisq or Agoradesk.

If you're new and don't have any Bitcoin, I recommend to use Agoradesk since it's the most easiest P2P platform.

In Bisq you need to have Bitcoin as the deposit or security funds, Robosats you need to use Tor, while Hodlhodl restrict many countries.

Right at bitcoincontank you can also buy and sell bitcoin, you just need to find a reputable seller with a high reputation index and good reviews. Be careful scam
Where is bitcoincontank? if you refer into this forum, you don't have to find a reputable seller. You can either ask him to send first or using a trusted escrow.

is this the same as p2p on binance, how is the transaction,
Do you need KYC when making a transaction?
and whether it applies to all countries

Bisq is good for only Bitcoin and Monero trade as it is on the TOR network, a trader and transactions are completely anonymous. Purchase is possible using local fiat. You would need to download the exchange on your desktop, more details: https://bisq.network/

I never use Binance P2P, assuming Binance P2P ask KYC when you make a transaction, it's mean you're need to verify your account before trading. However in hodlhodl, it seems KYC is mandatory they mention there are two type of accounts. They also not accept all countries.

I think the best way is choose the highest score exchange in this site, you can also read the reviews too https://kycnot.me/

you are not a citizen or tax resident of the United States of America (except if You are using Lend at Hodl Hodl), North Korea, Iraq, Syria, and/or Sudan;

Currently, there are two types of accounts - regular account and verified account.

“Regular” type of account means that a User who owns this account has only performed standard registration within the Hodlex Ltd authentication system.

"Verified" type of account means that a User who owns this account has performed the standard registration within the Hodlex Ltd authentication system, and has also entered into an additional agreement with Hodlex Ltd, and has provided all requested identification documents and information and his identity has been verified.

Of course there is. Because from the start Bitcoin was sold P2P and you can find it on Google or my suggestion is you can go directly to the marketplace section of this forum and open your own thread. My advice, if you want to sell your BTC, it's better to use an escrow from a member who has a good reputation, besides your transactions running safely, of course your risk of losing your BTC is much less.

Hence it is called decentralized exchange a platform that you can buy with P2P without using KYC.
There is also talking individually maybe on the forum you can do it, just make a thread on the board that is there then how many bitcoins will be bought by you when there is someone who is interested in the offer then you can make a P2P transaction.

You can do that here in the forum through the section of Currency exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0).

If you're not yet reputable, you have to use an escrow and it's gonna be tough to have a deal that you go first or the other part goes first.

To make everything safe, use any from the Recommended bitcointalk escrow services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0)

I guess your really might want to do a face to face transactions? Just be careful though, I would advise just to go to,

a. public places, so that there will be a lot of people around
b. or better chose a place that has security cameras, just in case.

Or go to this board, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0.

I will advise you to also try to know the current value of what you're selling in terms of reference prize you will be receiving from any buyer in other for you not to be cheated, there's a way some do manipulated the price and make some little changes to adjust to market price, i will advise you always check the current market value before pushing forward, as you've been already advised, take a look at some members of this forum who does that or you make use of a decentralized exchanges as listed from the above link provided to you.

Your question is not so clear, are you looking for a website to sell your BTC's without using a crypto exchange? I don't know if that's what you are looking for, but any platform that you can send your BTC's and receive fiat should be called an exchange, some of them are not so big or popular and operate only in your local region, but they may be risky.

If you don't want to trade through an exchange, you have to look for people around you that may be willing to trade BTC's with you in person. Bisq is a decentralized exchange and they can also connect you to traders for face to face trade, it is a safer option to use Bisq's software to arrange in-person trades.

In this case you can do P2P transactions. Binance or kucoin exchange will give you such facility. P2P transaction system is much safer than third party transactions. After making an account in the two exchanges that I have mentioned, verify the exchange. After verifying the account, you will convert the BTC or other currencies that you have, that is, the ones you want to sell to USDT or BTC. After transferring your funds in the P2P section, you can easily sell your BTC or USDT by placing an order of your choice.

That is true, but you are not totally correct. What you are referring to P2P on Binance and Kucoin are not P2P. With P2P (peer-to-peer), there is no intermediary. Binance and Kucoin or the centralized exchange are intermediaries.

Second, the OP is asking for direct P2P. Or probably he is going to prefer decentralized exchanges too.

I suppose that any site which offers selling BTC for fiat and vice versa can be considered an exchange site... Most exchange sites ask for personal data in order to be legally stable: they avoid tax probems, they avoid money laundering acusations, they escape other court conflicts etc. This policy is called Know Your Customer (KYC). Exchange sites without KYC can be fraudulent. However, KYC is also quite annoying thing...

I am inquisitive about such Websites because I think it going to be a clean sweep or I should say perfect scam Haha just a pre-warning P2P services can be trusted as I do use them by myself as well but there are some of legitimate and some are scam so you need to be extra careful... Anyway, moving to the point buddy there are a lot the P2P services for that and a lot of scams as well. The newbies prefer the P2P services via exchanges like Binance OKX etc. as for those who don't worry a lot about KYC, for KYC-sensitive users There are a lot of P2P services Bisq, localcoinswap etc etc.

You have to ensure the legitimacy of the platform/service before using There is a wide range of services you just need to choose whatever suits you better.

After the demise of LocalBitcoins there's no specific website I can recommend. You could try selling here on this forum. Just make sure you take extra caution: remember Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Another possibility is to try to contact an OTC buyer. You'll need a decent amount of Bitcoins to do it though.

Nowadays there are many frauds in real transaction and in the internet. If you don't know much about bitcoin transaction and bitcoin then you can take advice from this guy.First take full knowledge of this person that he is also completely reliable. If he is trustworthy then you can trust him till you get knowledge about Bitcoin and its transactions. If you want to make a significant investment in Bitcoin, I would suggest that you first acquire a good understanding of Bitcoin. In today's times, people often feel uneasy when they see money, and Bitcoin, being decentralized  allows you to have control over your transactions enabling you to conduct them as you wish.

I think this forum is the only reliable site where you can sell your Bitcoins without going through the hassle of an exchange. But, I recommend you to be careful when doing any kind of trading on this forum because sometimes the scammers may take your Bitcoin and run away with it. I recommend you to sell your Bitcoin to the only ones who are reputed members of the forum and if you offer your Bitcoin for a cheaper rate than its current market rate then surely the reputed members would buy your Bitcoin without any worries.

I still don't know why op is not interested in using an exchange and moreover if he is not ready to do KYC, he should have stated it clear because many persons does not like dropping there information on an exchange to avoid it being compromised. If he want to do escrow service, that's fine but he will have to drop his bank information to the persons he would be exchanging Bitcoin with, whether to covert it to dollar or other currency depending on his region. There are also people here that can swap his Bitcoin to fiat if that's what he is looking for which could be very easy for him.

I mean not really, this is a forum which you can use to find someone who can pay you anonymously however you still need to share your information with them like Bank Details etc.
On the other hand, you can also use websites like AgoraDesk. I used to prefer Localbitcoins for this task however it's now shutdown. I still don't understand why they did that, they could surely earn millions by just making a fee % in each transaction.
