Title: Positive thoughts and attitude towards Bitcoin.
Post by: Essential10 on July 10, 2023, 03:39:30 AM
From the time I studied in class eight, I used to take money from my father, uncle, elder brothers on the occasion of religious festivals. After few years I kept saving money and with the saved money I started a quail and pigeon farm. After two years of service I got a fairly good benefit from them. One day I got to know about Bitcoin by meeting an elder brother while visiting a place. After learning about Bitcoin, my curiosity increased and gradually I tried to learn more about Bitcoin and became attracted to Bitcoin. A few months ago when the bitcoin market was 17 thousand USD I invested 80% of the dividend in the bitcoin market and I still hold it. When I do any work, I trust the right thinking and decision of my own morale towards that work. I think Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years and maybe it will reverse but I have confidence I hold it. When investing in something there is always risk involved. I think risk is the possibility of gaining or losing something valuable.

I do not think but I know and predict that bitcoin will increase in value and price more and more, bitcoin is a store of value if you get the time to invest in it right. Even it has attained all-time-high several times and $69000 is not the last. If you have a mind for long term investment in bitcoin and you invest when the price is low, you will see your money increasing when the bull time comes. The possibility that you will lose is far lesser to the possibility that you will gain if you invest in bitcoin.

During the early years when bitcoin was invented and many were introduced into this new digital currency and technology, some doubted that how possible could this be and so on, those that accepted and invested never regret making their decision for once, the advice I will give you is to build more courage on what you already have been taught about bitcoin and make more research on the past events on bitcoin from how it started to where it was today, this will be the best motivation that can keep you moving ahead towards the better futures that are yet to get unfolded about bitcoin because we will soon be arriving at another all time high soon.

Those that were afraid all these years will always remain on the same spot while you taking decision and risk on bitcoin will always have better opportunities over them that sit down and fold their hands watching, now is the time you're paying for it worth by taking the risk, when it's time for maturition, you will enjoy the benefits of holding a bitcoin investment.

      -  The good thing about what you are doing is that you are developing your own method to understand Bitcoin little by little and from what I can see it brings you good things in your understanding of it, so just keep doing what you are doing and the goal of believing that there is a good you for Bitcoin.

Just stay and hold it because you know in yourself that even if there is a risk, you will not be shaken by the risk because of the deeper understanding you have gained in Bitcoin, so for that I congratulate you.

It's a very good thing for you that you are holding the right way. What I mean is you did not even mention rushing the profits. OP is just curious about how his investing will turn out. He is aware of the possibility of either losing or gaining money. Second is his earning or his living is not solely reliant on crypto. He has another source of income. Which means he doesn't pressure himself. He just let the market do its thing.

This is one of the best-shared experiences on this forum I've experienced so far. It's just he has the trust to BTC that it has real value and by that it will raise its price years from now. It seems that he haven't had solid plan for investing yet but I am sure that his mindset will save him from losing lots of money.

Well timed in investing actually. Some of us didn't have the luxury to invest at the right time when the price is very low. Some invest at the peak out of curiosity while the people are cheering for more pump yet the seasoned investors are already dumping.

Since you got in the right time, you best be getting out the right time as well.  The next bear market is your first bear market experience, its gonna be the worse too if you keep believing its going up all the way. Watch the chart.

I think Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years
All bitcoin investors will also agree about this. Because in fact, many bitcoin investors have predicted that in the future they will experience enormous growth. Whether it is seen in terms of price increases or it can also be seen in terms of popularity among the world community. So your decision to invest in bitcoin is indeed a very good and very right decision. Moreover, the bitcoin halving is coming soon, it is certain that if the bitcoin market experiences a bull run, the money you invest will increase.

Regarding risk when investing, it will definitely always be there, including when investing in bitcoin as well. Because basically, anything that smells profitable or productive, it is certain that it will always be followed by risks that may have to be faced. So when you start deciding to jump into bitcoin investment, you also really have to be prepared with all the consequences that exist. But that risk can still be minimized. That is by continuing to add knowledge or insight about bitcoin, then train your mind well, and don't be an investor who is too greedy.

You should keep this right attitude towards the bitcoin because it is definitely gonna change things in the future. The things which will government accept from their end and more adoption from the peeps as well. There won’t be hundred percent adoption but there will be enormous changes in the Bitcoin world for sure. We are not able to see it just right now but it’s really going in the right direction no matter what.

In my case also, I’m seeing different bans, uplift bans, fallen exchanges, up rising exchanges, other financial institutes opening and closing everything is associated with the learning phase really. This will get better and better with the time.

So let’s be happy that we are in zone already and keep it up.

At the least, we are seeing improvement and progress towards adoption of this technology. Well for sure almost all people in this industry will have positive attitude towards this technology simply because we benefit from it. But people who are negative towards Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, are most likely ones who are outside this industry. However not all of them are just lacking the knowledge about blockchains 'coz some of them are just not having the initiative to engage in this technology because of their own reasons and one I guess is the risk involved. As more institutions accept cryptos, there's still a chance for non believers of this industry, we jist have to be patient as ones who understand it more.

You are right that in investing, the risk is there. But those that don't want to take risk, they're free to just watch the market and do nothing but definitely, there's also no gain that's gonna happen to them. We don't want to guarantee people that there's a certain profit in Bitcoin if they invest now because it's gonna be looking a ponzi scheme if someone promises that. But we all know the drill, based on our experiences and with the span of time that we've been here, we're all gonna agree that it's worth it and still early for those investors that are in half thinking whether they should buy or not. And in OPs case, this is a good approach that he's got a positive mentality towards Bitcoin because he's invested in and he knew what he decided to.

The determination with which you decided to get involved with bitcoin and the way in which you positively trust what you did, knowing that you may or may not get good results, seems to me to be the way in which we should risk these types of investments, because many people who have taken the same path as you, sometimes regret the fact that they do not see the upward movement they would like, getting discouraged and losing hope of being able to achieve something good, and this even happens despite having studied the panorama and the possibilities. fluctuations that this currency presents... and that makes me deduce that not everyone is qualified to invest in bitcoin, since in this world not everything will be perfect and if they do not meet the necessary conditions to accept this volatile path, then I think it would be better that they reconsider until they are completely sure what they are going to face.

This is a very good initial decision for you going forward, you are also lucky to have managed to buy Bitcoin at 17k and are still holding it until now. Your choice to invest in Bitcoin is very appropriate, you have to thank a friend who taught you. As the title suggests, your positive thinking about Bitcoin, makes you still holding Bitcoin until now, you have to maintain your faith in Bitcoin.

Everything has its risks including investing in Bitcoin, you just need to control your emotions, and don't panic easily when the price starts to fall. For the rest, you should be able to store bitcoins in the safest wallet, never store all bitcoins on an exchange because this is not very good. if you have fulfilled this I think the risk will be even smaller.

It is better to invest than to waste your savings on luxury. Some other people prefer to keep their money in banks. They don't have this saving and investing mentality which is why they keep their money in fiat and watch it gradually lose value in banks due to inflation. You have taken a bold step by investing in Bitcoin because it is a good sector to put in your money.

Every Bitcoin investor believes that the price of Bitcoin will appreciate in the future. Bitcoin halving is predicted to happen next year which means the price might likely go high. Every investment has its level of risk, so we should be willing to accept the outcome of our investment. And it is also important to invest only what you can afford to lose.

Many of the little money that family members gift to children on special occasions are mostly spent on sweet, biscuits and candies. Only a very number of kids think to save and gather up these money until it is enough for something good. You have always been blessed with the rich mindset of saving up and trying to make more from the little you have, that is why it was not hard for you to fall in love with bitcoins and decide to buy to keep it until it gives you more than what you put in. Anyone with a mindset like yours always finds it easy to be convinced to invest in bitcoins. You are the kind of person that anyone who hopes to bring someone to bitcoin wants to meet.

Congratulations on making the right decision and experiencing profit. It's understandable that you feel happy about it. However, it's important not to feel regret in the event of a significant Bitcoin price drop. As a business-minded individual, you have the opportunity to take advantage of the market volatility. If you observe the Bitcoin chart, you'll notice that it has been fluctuating within a range that allows for short-selling. Although this approach carries risks, it is through taking risks that one can potentially earn significant profits.

What you did is a good move. Bitcoin is a high risk investment but if you trust and hold it for long term, the risk of losing will be reduced and with right mindset and attitude, not selling when price turns crashing, then you will have bigger opportunities to reap huge profits in time. My advice is just tighten your faith, bitcoin may move so slowly, but when bull market happens, every hardwork and patience you did will paid off and selling at its peak price will bring exceptional profits more than you imagine.

Nice inspiring story mate. You have the qualities of a successful entrepreneur someday. With regard to your bitcoin investment, I am not sure if putting 80% of your revenue is advisable. I have no idea about your ongoing business profit so maybe keeping 20% is good enough for you. But it's best if you stick to investing amounts that you can only afford to lose. This way, you still have enough funds in case you need something for urgent use and you don't have to be forced to sell your bitcoins especially if the market is down.

If history repeats itself, I can say that Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next1 year after the halving.  Bitcoin with finite supply and ever-increasing demands and wallet access lost, it is inevitable that we might se Bitcoin price surging as cycles pass by. So I can say that it is a wise decision in your end to spend 80% of the money from your earnings since it will create more profit when invested in Bitcoin than recycling the profit to buy more materials to increase your business.

Just make sure that you have your Bitcoin in a very secure storage and be vigilant to sell at peak and rebuy at crash in order to increase your holdings.

but it is still advisable to further expand his business along with his bitcoin holdings. remember, don't put all your eggs in one basket. it is always best to have other side jobs or business outside crypto market. because this market is highly volatile, it would be smart to secure other tangible assets that you can fall back on when the going gets tough.
as we don't know the future of this market, we have to look for contingencies so we won't be in trouble if something goes awry in this market.

In real-life dealings, a positive mindset is needed because if you are into something and you have negative thoughts while others are succeeding such a person will be failing. For Bitcoin, every investor believes in it which is why some are trading with it or holding it. And we know that the market is open to all without constraints on its part.

I must commend your courage to invest such higher percentage of the dividence into bitcoin as starter. Bitcoin might not fail you possibly but when you are taking risk, make sure you take it gradually from simple to complex. I don't know your worth, but what if it goes otherwise? You'll have to start from a scratch with the remaining 20% right? Your decision to invest in bitcoin is the best but you over do it since it's your first time.

Know that despite Bitcoin is a risky investment, it will give you the opportunities to succeed and give you substantial profits as long as you invest and hold it at a long duration. That's why patience and perseverance are a must.

Just hodl till it reaches the next ATH. If you don't want to take too much risk and want a good amount of profit, then there isn't any better option than Hodling. To maximize your profit and stay ahead of the game, you can choose to do DCA. This will eliminate all the hassle and risks that involve in trading and give you a great return. As we are currently still in the bear market before the bull run starts, we can do DCA which will be at our advantage in the long run. Instead of investing all at once, divide your investment asset and use DCA method.

But if you think that you don't want to take that hassle too, just keep your Bitcoin safe in a personal wallet and wait for the next bull run. Good days will come sooner than expected. cheers.

This idea would be very easy for OP and anyone who already cultivated a saving habit from early days and is looking for better ways to make profit from saving.

BTC is sure a good investment that would payoff after the halving, because an expected bull season should follow suit between 3-6months after the halving.
HODLing from now with a good DCA strategy is a good idea incase the decision to invest is being pondered upon, or if it is the worst case scenario after the halving that is your fear.
BTC would survive and am very sure OP would testify to the profit he makes, because am sure he has the discipline and understanding to make the best out of his investment.

I admire your conviction and positive attitude towards bitcoin; not every bitcoin holder is this certain of what they've invested in. Even if you've decided to take the risk of investing in bitcoin while knowing the drawbacks associated with market volatility, you still have faith in it and have invested. You just demonstrated a trait of a skilled trader. When there is a bad trend in the market, most individuals panic and sell everything.

Whatever occurs, be a bitcoin fan with the virtue of patience under all circumstances, especially if you've invested in bitcoin to reap the benefits in the near future. There is always something to give up in order to achieve something valuable. Your patience and willingness to take risks are the sacrifices you've just made in order for this to be advantageous to you in the future.

Enough with the contradictory words! Or should I say fear in your statements...on one hand you know on another hand you think 🤔. Bitcoin is always going to surprise holders either negatively or positively that's why when we buy to hold we ensure we don't do so in a rush...I would say kudos to you buying at that amount...plus or minus you stand a chance of making nice profit from it when it trends up or you won't make too much loss if it trends down (talking about bitcoin)Never doubt your instincts when investing especially when you've done much study about the stuff you're investing on which in this case is Bitcoin! We are fingers crossed 🤞

You did well especially since it was when everybody was afraid of what might happen to Bitcoin given the number of issues and negative sentiment at that time. In all, I admire your courage to make such an investment. Taking risks like this is something I haven't done in recent times since the ICO era dealt with me a lot. Since then, I have chosen the conservative approach when it comes to investment but it's really inspiring to see new Bitcoin users taking brave steps like this.

Now you are here, my advice is to get a secure wallet to store your bitcoins if you are holding them for the long term. Thanks for sharing your story and good luck.

Sure, Bitcoin will increase in value in the future. But you still have to be very careful when you're making investment. From what I grabbed, you're also into farming and most of the money you have invested are part of what you got from there. Don't do too much to the extent that it will affect your business, try to take it slow and not rush it that much, except you know that your okay already.

Congratulations on making the right decision and experiencing profit. It's understandable that you feel happy about it. If you observe the Bitcoin chart, you'll notice that it has been fluctuating within a range that allows for short-selling. Although this approach carries risks, it is through taking risks that one can potentially earn significant profits.

I think that one of the basic concepts of trading in bitcoin, should be to keenly observe the chart, and knowing when to buy and sell the coin. Because if the essence is to make profit, then one must seize opportunities when it presents itself, and is favourable to sell or buy. Instead of just keeping it and waiting for the perfect time, which may not present itself in a platter of gold. Positive attitudes is however very important to help us to stay focused in bitcoin.

Risk is a part of life, if we're not ready to take it, then we're not prepared to go to the next level. Of course it has to be calculated risk, so we don't make foolish mistakes.

That's a positive first impression. During my early days here, I only see bitcoin as a meme and nothing more. That curiosity grew when I found out about the 10,000 bitcoin pizza which, at that time was worth $200,000 (2014). I claimed faucets, joined campaigns, and basically did anything to get my feet wet without spending any money on it. Glad I stayed through the ups and the downs, and I'm reaping the rewards because of my subtle curiosity that grew and grew everyday.

No one really knows what will happen to bitcoin's future back then,. All I know is that it can be converted into fiat and it's possible to keep the value of whatever I have with the help of bitcoin.

OP had got good experience saving money from his very young age. Another thing, he had experienced in running a business and making profit out of it. This gives him the ability to stay positive and focus on long term profit making. Every form of investment have got risk associated and bitcoin isn't an exception. The risk gets diluted when the person have got the ability to hold as well as stay long in the market without getting panic to the incidents that happens around the cryptomarket.

Good steps investing not your entire funds but your dividends which means earnings from the productions you’ve managed thus far and just 80% of that to be invested. Haven’t done this investment out of your personal research and convictions of the bitcoin innovation, you would see reasons to be proud of what you’ve begone in few years and it’s sure to strengthen your will towards the currency and approach towards new innovations within the world communities.
Surely bitcoin would have some good value in the future and I welcome you not to miss out and Joel.

Risk as a possibility of gain… yeah, I get it that there is a loose part to it but, can we really consider risk for a possibility of gaining?
Risk basically looks at the unwanted occurrences that can result.
Gains or Profit happens to be wanted and I don’t consider them a risk by my definition.

Let's just hope that OP is storing their Bitcoin in a safe place which is a personal wallet and out of the exchanges because recently, there are a lot of incidents happening to most cryptocurrency exchanges, you could lose your investment here.

I can relate with OP because the money you invested in Bitcoin is your own, it's from your hard work and grind. Because people like these will value their money and they will be careful.

The majority of the people on this forum believe the same, including myself. But let's not forget that at the end of the day there is always some risk involved so never forget not to invest more than what you can afford to lose, and also make sure you won't need that money in the short period. Of course at the same time if you don't take some risks you won't make money, just try to keep a certain balance.

Risk-taking is not a big deal because without it, you won't know the value of your possessions, even if you make a profit. Bitcoin is a unique investment that has existed for a long time and will continue to do so; although some nations don't allow it, I believe that once they have more information about it, they will be the ones to lead the investing team, I would like to say that he made the right decision by choosing to invest in bitcoin, and if he puts his trust in what he is doing, he will never regret joining the forum and doing the same with his money. Today, many people have started investing in bitcoin and are continuing to do so in order to ensure a bright future.
What I'm trying to convey is that investing in bitcoin is the kind of decision that, if you make the proper choice, you won't look back, even if there will inevitably be market issues with price pump-and-dump cycles and with everything else in life that involves buying and selling for profit.

I'm happy that you invested at a good price and managed to continue hodling, op. I like your attitude, as I can see that you realize the risk, invest what you can afford to put into Bitcoin and are willing to wait and see how things go over the years. I think that a 5x or maybe even a 10x return over a Bitcoin investment made at $17k is pretty realistic over several years, but nobody knows for sure how things will play out. Being calm, positive, and reasonable is important when it comes to investing money, and it seems to me that the op has it all.

With just that one you got the right mindset going into this industry. So many people believe it's all rosy once they invest as if Bitcoin is immune to losses. No, it's not. The only thing is that its losses are highly minimized if one makes the investment on a long term. In fact, since its creation Bitcoin has been on an upward move till date. Finding a comfortable entry point and buying is the key thing going into Bitcoin investment. I must say you picked a nice entry on the hindsight at below $18k. You're in profit now but will be in greater profit if you wait till after halving in 2024.

investing in btc certainly has risks because investing in btc has the potential to get profits and has the potential to get losses. but in my opinion you are very lucky because you have bought btc at a cheap price and now the price of btc has increased, so if you are selling btc now you will definitely benefit because the price of btc is now rising in price. but if you want to save btc for the long term, of course it will be better, especially since there will be a BTC HALVING soon.

I hope your investment goes well.

Firstly, compliments to your forward-thinking and business spirit. I admire your drive and ambition that led you to first bootstrap your tiny farm and then go headfirst into the digital currency market. You should follow the road illuminated by the principle of prudent risk-taking.

Your confidence in Bitcoin mirrors mine. The blockchain technology that underpins Bitcoin has vast untapped potential. Its a novel method of guaranteeing openness and cutting out the need for intermediaries, not just a digital currency.

Concerning the possibility of risk , I agree wholeheartedly. Life is fraught with peril. In truth, life without any dangers would be boring and dull. So keep up your bold spirit and adventurous spirit! You're making smart moves, and I hope they pay out for you.

It is understandable that you feel happy and satisfied because you made the wise decision and congratulations on that friend. However, in the world of Bitcoin, volatility is something to consider. Even if you have made a profit, it is essential to maintain an entrepreneurial mindset and not have regrets in case the Bitcoin price takes a significant drop. You have the opportunity to benefit from market turbulence as an investor by exercising caution, taking calculated risks and acting strategically... there is a phrase that I really like and I think I will never tire of saying it "THE WHO DOES NOT RISK, DOES NOT WIN" I feel that apply to you right now  ;). Another piece of advice I could give would be to keep a positive outlook and be willing to adapt to market changes if you want to be successful in Bitcoin trading. I go back and repeat, you have to be aware of the graphs, news and current affairs that may have an impact on the price of bitcoin. In this way, you could maximize opportunities in the fascinating world of cryptocurrencies. It's about patience and perseverance and, above all, maintaining a solid strategy and being prepared to make informed decisions.

You understand the risk, that's all that matters OP, and also you got in at the right time, I doubt Bitcoin will ever see 17,000$ again, I believe that is a case closed for this bear market, if you have a good job I will advice you to keep accumulating, what I've learned in crypto space when it comes to accumulation is to always have some money set aside for opportunities, we are not out of the bear market yet, if BItcoin head down to let's say 20k how are you going to take the advantage again? So always have some USDC in your wallet for possible future opportunities.

You are in good hands since you understand the risks, it feels great seeing a newbie taking this risk as an opportunity, if you can hold firmly you will be happy with your decision in a few years from now.

I don't really see any lose in bitcoin,  for me their is no lose in bitcoin as far as one has made up his/her mind to hodl Bitcoin till when the market increases in volume. Bitcoin can only be risky for people who are not sure of their investment because they have already targeted a specific time of making profit from their investment and when   the market is not going the way like they already predicted they sell in panic and lose their money. For those who are sure of bitcoin and are capable of hodling until their investments become profitable don't take any risky.  It is  always risky for people who want  to make money fast from bitcoin.

That's the most important point, it is not going to see that type of bottom again, I can't see bitcoin ever being under 20k ever again, not just short term but ever in history bitcoin would see under 20k again, not in our life time I guess.

Of course there is a risk that something much bigger comes out and bitcoin is old news and we do not use crypto anymore, in that case I can agree that there could be some situation and we would live in a world where it is going to hurt a lot, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see it work well, it is just a risk they are taking. So all in all, bitcoin being high now means that people who bought lower will end up constantly be in profit, as long as you hold your coins, you will grow your profit.

Second, did you buy a large amount of Bitcoin? In addition to that, I am also impressed with the eagerness you have shown in seeking to learn and learn about what Bitcoin really is, and from what I have seen, you have not made a mistake in trusting it, honestly dude. Investing in cryptocurrencies is risky, I don't think it is risky when one decides to invest in Bitcoin. Because those who use Bitcoin as an investment tool they normally invest in Bitcoin from a perspective of long-term plan. Investing in alt coins carries a lot of risk and the possibility of being accused of any kind of irregularities where Bitcoin free form those issues. If you can trust Bitcoin to fulfill your goals then you can definitely become a true Bitcoin investor. In my opinion an investor should make a reliable investment that can minimize his risk level and there is no better option than Bitcoin.

This is the attitude that we must fulfill when investing, because the value of Bitcoin is always up and down and we don't know what the future of Bitcoin will be, so we can hold on to the journey of Bitcoin for the past few years and everything is always increasing, so those of us who have invested must be ready to take every risk that exists, and this is a very valuable investment because Bitcoin is an asset that is very different from property or stocks so we all Must have a belief so as not to be tense to face the situation like today.

Regardless of what they are thinking about Bitcoin, I remain positive into it. Not because of the price alone, but with its underlying technology where it is the first ever cryptocurrency that gives us the opportunity to experience borderless payments and free from intermediaries.

On top of that, I give full credit to Bitcoin for making the crypto and Web3 evolve for so many years that resulted to many altcoins like ETH, XRP, BNB, MATIC, etc., as well as the NFTs, DeFi, metaverse, etc.

Without Bitcoin, these ones I have mentioned won't exist today.

If only technology we are talking I think there’s a lot of blockchain project that is far ahead on Bitcoin blockchain. I believe the main feature that makes Bitcoin more valuable that other blockchain tokens that has better performance is Bitcoin blockchain is the only decentralized blockchain since there’s no team behind it that controls the development of Bitcoin instead it’s a community decision on how Bitcoin will move forward wince Satoshi is not active anymore.

Being the first Blockchain and a complete decentralized blockchain are the feature that makes Bitcoin valuable in long term.

I really appreciate that OP understands the risks of investing in bitcoin but one important thing is that investing in bitcoin does not promise future profits, I need to remind OP that investing in bitcoin is only from funds for investment use or reserve funds, if he has used 80% dividend funds it will not be effective for use bitcoin investment even though he gets high profits because he is lucky to buy when the market price is bearish, but if the opposite conditions the market price decreases lower than the purchase price, I think he is not ready to lose dividends even though he has previously known the risks.

So you have to be wise in making bitcoin investment decisions, think about these wise words "don't put your eggs in one basket", so use more investment diversity strategies and you are free to manage investment management, for example setting up a 50% option for bitcoin investment and 50% use for a combination of property and gold investment.

Your timing was perfect. You invested when Bitcoin is at it's most bottomed price which is at near $17,000.

Well, you sharing your experience will probably motivate these newbies out there to make their own decision when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. Maybe you might motivate one or 2 users out here, make their own research, and invest into Bitcoin. I guess I would say that you did a good job investing diversifying your money.

Continue investing, continue learning, and don't stop on it. Aside from your business, investing your profit not only in cryptocurrency, but into different asset class will give you more profit in the long run. Yes there's always a risk involve like you said, but as long as you can manage the risk then it's all good.

Nobody wants to talk about how hard it can be to hold Bitcoin, I was there when I had nothing and Bitcoin was my only hope, the only thing that's worth money at the time was Bitcoin, to spend it was like I no more had a future, I turned into something I was not, I started looking for means of making money without touching a penny from my Bitcoin and in the end I still lost everything.

If I had a job back then, my journey would have been a lot easier, I wouldn't starve myself so much, I would have easily buy more Bitcoin instead of starting another race with Airdrops and Faucets, it was not easy but I am still standing today.

Positive attitude and thoughts towards Bitcoin will work if you have other source of incomes and things that can occupy your time, things will work smoothly and there won't be anything to be worried about.

Your real life story and investment experience in Bitcoin are truly remarkable, specially considering the challenges you faced during  the unfavourable economic circumstances . You have set a good example for all Bitcoin investors, and  I must appreciate your patience and positive attitude during these hardships for continue holding your Bitcoin investment with strong faith in its ability to reward you significant returns and transform future of your family.

A few months ago when the bitcoin market was 17 thousand USD I invested 80% of the dividend in the bitcoin market and I still hold it.
Although @OP story sounds like he was made a good decision by invest his money when Bitcoin price was $17K since right now Bitcoin is worth $30K, anyone should remember if you bought Bitcoin at $69K, it doesn't mean you're wrong because the next Bitcoin ATH, it will surely break the $69K remark and the price will reach more higher. As long as you invest what you can afford to lose, you just need to be patient to wait the next ATH.

I think Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years and maybe it will reverse but I have confidence I hold it. When investing in something there is always risk involved. I think risk is the possibility of gaining or losing something valuable.
Whether you think, speculate, predict, anticipate, foresee that Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years, you are right. All things happening in the financial world are an indication. Look at the organizations applying for ETFs, looks at countries granting access to Bitcoin miniers, look at companies accepting Bitcoin for payment of goods and services. There is a steady increase. Bitcoin awareness is increasing in the public. I would say that 7 out of every ten people have heard about Bitcoin because it always on the news or trending on Twitter every other day.  Increase adoption means increase price making it more valuable. Keeping holding

You bravely invested in Bitcoin at low pricing. Maintaining a confident investment throughout market fluctuations is difficult. Remember that everyone's financial journey is different. Years of experience make your life lessons invaluable. Dont discount your airdrop and faucet experience just because they're a little part of crypto. Income diversification can mitigate Bitcoin price swings. Bitcoin isnt your only option. Blockchain has many uses beyond Bitcoin. Its an interesting area with great potential.

For me risk is the reason that makes investing and trading interesting, without it there wouldn't be a chance to make large profits. Risk allows us to earn extra returns compared to the risk free assets. People who don't want to take risks leave their savings in the bank and earn a small interest on it, or leave it as cash at home for no interest at all. Due to inflation we need to invest, otherwise the value of our money will drop over time. Crypto currencies offer a lot of opportunities to invest in, especially bitcoin has proven over the years to protect it's initial value while giving good upside potential. As long as we only invest money that we don't need at the moment we don't face any long term risks in my opinion. The problem comes when we expect certain returns and rely on them, this could lead to us being forced to sell at unfavorable times.

Even in your first investment, you waited for a while and your investment was appreciated. Thus, you have fulfilled the waiting element, which is valuable in this market. This gives you an advantage. You bought Bitcoin at a very good level and expect its value to increase. I think you did a very good job. Continue this way.

There is always risk. What we can have is limited when we don't take risks. Investing comes with risks, but our confidence in bitcoin will not let us down. however always be careful.

Not only the OP's belief in the story mentioned, but I also personally really believe that one day we will take profits at the price of bitcoin surpassing the $10000 mark, our investment perspective as well as our knowledge of the field. This may be different, but the goal of accompanying the market to get profit should seriously maintain it. Really seeing so many FUDs popping up with bitcoin and crypto doesn't bother me, when I understand that investing is about accepting everything that will happen, and whether or not it's about finding a way to limit the risks to your investment where to invest.

It's great to hear that you strongly believe in Bitcoin's potential to surpass important psychological level of $100,000 and I highly appreciate your positive perspective on Bitcoin. Investing involves risks and fluctuations of market that comes with any kind of investment including crypto currencies. In order to navigate these challenges, it is better to take long term approach. By doing this, it can help to ride out short term market fluctuations and potentially capitalize on long term significant returns.

You have taken a very nice step by delving into the world of Bitcoin and investing your money into it at that price range. It's someone's own choice to invest in a currency or a commodity, or something that's living, but very few people can think about future of an asset in a positive way, and I think you're among those people who think very positive about the future of Bitcoin.

I must tell you that your investment is going to give you good returns if you can hold it for more than 5-10 years because it's expected that the price of a single Bitcoin will be around $1 million or more in a decade, and if that prediction becomes true then you will have a very enjoyable life if you have held your coins for that time.

You should never worry about its price drop because that thing is not going to happen, and I'm more than sure that Bitcoin won't be going to the range of $17k once again. Just hold you accumulated amount in Bitcoin and wait for the time when it's price would be high enough that you can earn quite good returns from your investment.

OP, you had a great decision investing in Bitcoin and in a perfect timing. It's actually amazing to think that the first time you got curious about Bitcoin and planned on investing on it, it was on $17k and look at the price now. Comparing the price of when you invested up to this day, you surely did the right choice. Also, I like your mindset. You keep a positive mindset and this attitude is what we need when investing. Of course there are risks but you're investing on something because you believe on it. I believe your story can motivate others, especially to newbies who are still a bit doubtful towards Bitcoin.

Surely, Bitcoin will have more value in the next few years so keeping your Bitcoin and that positivity will lead you to a more success. Goodluck on your journey and investment OP!

Bitcoin is the safest investment in the crypto ecosystem. In fact, it will provide extraordinary benefits if you can hold it for the long term. Just look at how bitcoin has increased since bitcoin was first created. Profitable investment and even this will not be related to the government so there will be no taxes whatsoever if you hold the investment in your personal wallet. Of course there are pros and cons about investing in Bitcoin, but let's look at the positive news. Bitcoin is the most expensive digital asset for now and is a new decentralized payment platform.

Op is confident over the growth of bitcoin. Already he would be enjoying the profit out of his investment, he had bought when the price was around $17k and now the difference is almost doubled. In all forms of investment there'll be risk and the same could be overcome by our learning and the decisions taken at the right time. We should be ready with alternate plans if the market isn't moving according to our predictions. Next thing is the focus on worst case of the market. Our mind need to have everything calculated for the worst case of the market and the same will never let us down.

There are always risks in investing. So when we want to invest, we have to think carefully. Don't just rely on your lust. And indeed positive thoughts are really needed, so that when we lose on an investment, we can learn from our mistakes instead of berating ourselves and thinking about negative things going forward.

Many people think that investing in bitcoin can never be successful if you don't take too much risk. Bitcoin has a good future even though there are risks one must think positively because the negative will make everything worse those who keep faith and move forward are successful. Bitcoin has gained popularity since its inception but there is no need to despair as the demand and supply will increase which will increase the value of bitcoin several times. Professional investors never think bad thoughts they know how to overcome risk and rise above. Bitcoin is a very valuable asset and holding until the price increases is the right decision.

Everything that involves thinking and doing in bitcoin is something that has to be impressive, people have to be quite adoptive regarding this issue because bitcoin does lend money, it is better than putting it in a bank and for me it is one of the greatest inventions in the world made by a human, it seems so incredible to me that it is impressive that a human or humans have come up with something like this, it is as if it had no precedents, but we have it, the fact that a type has been created of economics where banks or governments do not have access is already something that is genius, so all my respect for Satoshi, he will always be the best.

Crypto investment is risky, but so far bitcoin has reduced its risk over time as there is little risk involved in investing in bitcoin compared to altcoins out there. All that's needed is for one to pick up the courage and put that risk aside and invest what they can afford, not be in a hurry to use.

The only place I see bitcoin appear to be a little risky is in the place where you are a shot-time investor and might want to use the money you invested in bitcoin in a short period of time. It might not be available at that moment; it's not as if it will be locked up,  but the price it will be when you bought it and the price as of when you want to sell it won't be the same. That's why it's always advised to invest what they won't be in a hurry to use so as not to fall victim to selling off their bitcoin when the price is not right.

Of course bitcoin will become something valuable in the next few years. Your choice to invest in bitcoin is correct and you are lucky to have a friend like him who wants to teach you and advise you to invest in bitcoin. There must be confidence in bitcoin, because without confidence you will be afraid to invest because you are hesitant about investing in bitcoin. Maintaining bitcoin is a wise choice.

All investments have risks. In my opinion, the risk of bitcoin investment is not loss of value, because if you still hold it you haven't lost. The most feared risk is that you lose the prase seed , so here you have to be really careful when storing bitcoins.

There is nothing negative about Bitcoin that has to be said for everything positive. Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, originally invented Bitcoin simply by thinking of people and eliminating old systems of transactions. But investing in Bitcoins requires you to master some learning points. No matter how knowledgeable you are, without detailed knowledge of Bitcoin and the blockchain, you will never be able to make a profitable investment in Bitcoin.

It's new kind of technology, and just like the internet before, no one wanted to touch it before it has a lot of negative connotations and people that time doesn't believed on it. But sooner or later, people will really have to adopt to this new technology otherwise, they will be left behind. And now look at how internet has improved that everyone is now using it.

So I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin will have the same path. Lots of negative in the beginning, there are certain groups that attack it. Nevertheless, in the last 10 years or so Bitcoin has slowly taking traction and people learn how to used it, like form of money or store of value and an assets.

You have done very well, allocate profits from your quail and pigeon farming business to invest in Bitcoin. Your courage to take risks has made you a successful man in business, keep doing it consistently, you will make a profit when the price of Bitcoin continues to increase.

You bought BTC at 17k and that was quite low, in fact by now you should have doubled your money because it was at $34k. Bitcoin seems to have caught your attention, and there's nothing wrong with that. Since buying Bitcoin, I have always tried not to sell it because I still hope that Bitcoin can provide surprises in the future. I also have a small target for the Bitcoin that I own, if it is achieved it will make me believe in Bitcoin more.

I am very sure, every person here who has Bitcoin must have their own belief regarding Bitcoin that this is a profitable asset to buy. I also don't make Bitcoin my main income, even though it can generate large profits, but I still depend on my current job at the company that has given me life since 2 years ago. Owning Bitcoin is really exciting because I'm quite interested in the future of finance, where Bitcoin might play a role.

Foresight and market awareness are shown by allocating a large amount of earnings, especially from established companies like quail and pigeon farming, to an intangible and volatile asset like Bitcoin. This is about risk-taking and using possibilities.

Market dynamics often determine Bitcoin investment success, but strategic thinking sets a person different. Always be informed while taking risks, yet courage is laudable. As you noted, Bitcoin's price can lead to profits. Like any investments, its important to constantly reassess, comprehend market dynamics, and adapt strategies to shifting financial environments.

I think the delay should not be such a big problem for them, although yes there will definitely be some regret that they will feel for having missed a very good opportunity that has happened to bitcoin, but that does not mean we always fall into regret and do not take any action. So of course I agree with your statement, "better late than never", you or they will never know what will happen in a few months or years to your accumulated investment, of course it is always difficult to fully predict how big bitcoin will be in the future, but on the other hand there is nothing wrong if you want to try to get involved in investing, because there may be great benefits that are waiting for you in the future.

And on the other hand yes I hope you have considered from various sides about your decision to join others in terms of investment, use your own money, avoid loans, train your mentality to be stronger, because of course the risk of loss can never be avoided completely and also yes make yourself more responsible for whatever will happen. If indeed you are very sure and there is no doubt at all then you can start your investment, and I hope you can bring good planning whether it is long or short term. Fear in my opinion is a natural thing, everyone will definitely feel it, and with good management, you will be able to minimize the possibility of loss so that it is not too significant. Now bitcoin is in a pretty good bullish position, hopefully you are one of those waiting for a profitable selling area.

it is a good thing when you invest the money you earn into bitcoin. not everyone has the opportunity to invest in bitcoin when the price is low enough and you have successfully invested your money and i'm sure you have made a decent profit from your investment.

i also think like you that holding bitcoin for a long time is good. even though there are times when market conditions make our investments go down and up and make us worry, but if we have set a goal and don't think too much about it, i'm sure we can hold it for a long time and reap high profits from our investment.

When investing in something there is always risk involved. I think risk is the possibility of gaining or losing something valuable.
What you have to do is to calculate the risks, so you can decide if those risks are worthful to be taken or not. Not every risks are worth to be taken, and as an example I can mention the largest part of altcoins' market, which is full of opportunities and risks, but still not worthful for a long term investor like you who have been holding since BTC was pricing 17,000$.

The possibility of gaining something valuable is what really matters when making an investment, and in order to understand that, you have to measure what are the chances of that possibility becoming true and what you are going to lose and its implications, if something doesn't happen as you firstly expected.

When the possibility is too low, don't put much expectation or hopes on it. Focus on solid and concrete projects for your life.

In my view of Bitcoin, Bitcoin is a very revolutionary technology, maybe I think Satoshi understands the world's financial system, how he really understands the fiat system that we have been using, how the banking ledger system stores it in one place in the bank, with the expertise he has is how he changed the previous ledger system, he changed the ledger and spread it to the internet throughout the world which we usually know as Bitcoin notes. So the network system will never die, and what many people can be sure about is that Bitcoin cannot be hacked by anyone.

Knowing how to tale risks is the best gift a man can have in him and I like the fact that you are doing this even when you are not in the best position to do so, my advice is you should keep trying to invest in Bitcoin because it is going to be the most mattered digital asset in future, store your Bitcoin in a safe non custodial wallet and don't ever share your keys with anyone or store them online.

You did very well, and this is the beginning of your better future, you are going to gain a lot in few years, and make sure you don't get married to your bag, it's safe to say that you could with Bitcoin, but with your condition its better you sell when Bitcoin makes a new all time high and wait for the next bear market in 2026 I think then buy Bitcoin again at lesser price.

This will increase your amount of Bitcoin and your condition will also become better, as I strongly believe that Bitcoin doesn't betray those who strongly believe in the technology, I am having a better life today because I strongly believe in Bitcoin since 2016, you won't regret this, keep holding.

In that case, they better ignore Bitcoin because this investment is just for those who trust and think about the bright future. Investing is too risky which means that only those who can afford to take it and understand how it works will remain while the rest may stay away. In fact, we aren't forced to do that but it is our choice, so it is very understandable that before we invest we are already aware of the possibilities that may happen to our money/investment.
Trust really matters and the more we think positively, the more we gain confidence and succeed.

Just like you said there's risk everywhere. When you wanted to start your poultry farm, you must have acknowledged that birds are fragile; and infection/diseases can spread from one to all of them resulting in a large treatment expense or even huge casualties, but you did it anyway yet with money from your savings. Tell a lot about your business personality. Bitcoin has its volatility and that's its only risk, however, just like any other risk, there's always a huge reward waiting on the positive end of your decision. Just hoard it long enough and you won't have any regrets. Nonetheless please make sure you never throw in all your funds there (no matter how green it seems); you need to have emergency funds that can forever prevent you from needing what you invest. This is one common mistake people make and I'm hoping you don't make it too.

An investor becomes very successful not because of how much capital they have but how much confidence they have in the investment assets they buy, and in this case you are very confident in Bitcoin, well in the past few decades, Bitcoin continues to be a hot topic of conversation throughout the world, its price volatility always attracts the attention of many people, currently the price has passed $30 and it is predicted that by the end of this year the price of bitcoin will pass $40k, I am sure that those who are increasingly successful are investors who have great confidence in bitcoin and @OP, you will be one of them.

If they don't understand Bitcoin, it would be better to learn about it first so they can invest well because without understanding it well, they will of course ignore investing in Bitcoin. Everyone can invest in Bitcoin and of course they must understand the risks of losses they will incur and how to avoid this so that they can make a profit from the investments they make.

Carelessness will be a very fatal thing and will always end up with something worse, honestly I agree with you if indeed they do not understand at all about bitcoin along with how it works and the benefits and also the risks then it is better to learn first, it doesn't matter because there is no compulsion whatsoever for them to come faster, it's better late but definitely than rushing but not bringing any preparation, it will only make them fall into the abyss.

Therefore it is better to learn first at least about the basics in bitcoin investment, learn to build good planning and management, emphasize your risk management to minimize losses, prepare a strong mentality for conditions that can make you depressed and at all I do not advise anyone to behave greedily in their investments, bitcoin will not give you quick and big profits, but if you are able to engage well and have good consistency then over time you will get a positive surprise (consistent profit) from bitcoin itself in the future. Actually there are still quite a lot of other things that must be considered but for beginners who just want to jump in I think basic knowledge is enough for them, because they will get more knowledge when they are already involved deep in the investment process.

Op you did well for your right thinking. I will also advise you not to give up in you "quail and pigeon farm" because that will give you daily and weekly or monthly  spending money to solve pressing needs. So that you will not be starved in the name of investing in bitcoin. What you have done is one of the best ever. What you have to do again is your security of the coins. Make sure you use non custodial wallet to store your coins and in the process learn well on bitcoin to have more knowledge on it so that you will not be deceived by anyone about bitcoin.

From research, I'm made to understand that quail eggs are very good for the body, as it helps in boasting metabolism, good for the eyes, helps brain health, boast immunity and an excellent source of protein, e.t.c (as gotten from Google Search Engine), and as such I will love to encourage you not to give up on such lucrative business, even while you venture into investing in Bitcoin, popularly known as the currency for the future, because as Bitcoin may not give you a huge return right now, but in the future, your Quail business will be a very good alternative generating little revenue daily or weekly, good enough to sustain you why you hold on your Bitcoin for dear life (i.e HODL)

You really make intelligent decisions for yourself. In this life nothing worthwhile happens to someone who makes a meager living while still finding it difficult to find another source of income. If my memory serves me well, you stated that although you had a difficult beginning to your life, but God helped you to improve it for the best. In this world, everything is possible—except if you don't try.

To be honest, I like how you inquired about Bitcoin with your elder brother and he also reason your decision. He didn't mind at all and made every effort to introduce you to the concept. You didn't act lazy after that instead, you made an effort to do additional study to find out more. Now, you've evolved into Bitcoin.
