I have been following there Facebook page (etn electroneum) and deceided to get in at the price. New blockchain coming which will make it etn20 and the ability to create new tokens far cheaper than erc20...also they have the anytask platform with a big supporting team....read the social media could change the world if this thing gets out there? Worth a punt! Not saying you should as this crypto lark is extremely risky but out of everything I have looked at it serves an actual real world purpose and helping the poor is always a good thing...

It's gonna be hard for them to compete with the existing ones that has their own smart contracts like Ethereum and BNB.

But if you're optimistic on them and you're seeing that there's a chance and possibility. I wish you good luck on that, I've seen how this token became popular before because of their mobile mining.

Then, it has come to an end and lie low and now they're trying to revive it with that ETN20. I don't know that they've come up to that but then, it's your thought that counts on that project and your money.

Etn is the coin from 2016 right ? If i am not mistaken it is mined by phone ( their marketing campaign ). I though this coin death already and if i am not wrong we can not put smart contract on it. So the new update is only smart contract thing ? We have many coin can do that. Polygon, avalanche and many coin to come.

Hi thanks for the input...no as I read it this will be a revolutionary revision and I think talk of a wrapped etn so it can be easily listed on binance etc....also the CEO is on the digital pound foundation board in the UK with ripple (xrp) and Quant....this tells me no rugpull here...fingers crossed!!!

Electroneum team has lost it, even if they come back people won't believe them, the way they treated their investors in the past is so bad, unless they have a change of team and these are trusted people in the space also with good funding from big VCs to help them scale and a true revamp of their tokenomics, they need to do this to be able to make allocation for the VCs and build strong community. With how competitive the L1 space is now, I don't think the electroneum team have any chance because there are large percentage of L1 blockchains current that are ghost town, I will stay clear of this now

You choose to follow a project that was created in the year 2017 which is also exactly the last time it make an ATH price and apart from that the concept it was built is something almost all scalable cryptocurrency projects can offer. I will advise you to sell it and hold Bitcoin but if you're a potential cheap coin you can check Combo since it's listed on Binance.

I don't know about those details but you are on your own and it seem that you've got a lot of information about them.

So, there's not that much to tell you as if you're aware of what you're doing. That's why I'll just tell you good luck if you're really on it and you've got an optimistic mindset on ETN.

This is a different discussion, most projects will say that they're there to help everyone and make profits.

If you looked at it, real-world purpose can be one of the main conditions to make a project successful if they can actually make an innovation to offer some great positive results with their project. However, this does not only stop when they released their roadmaps concerning their plans because consistent updates and development are needed as well so that the project will be fully recognized by the mass. Therefore, if you know what you are doing concerning investment in this project, just don't forget to give yourself time to review it and not gonna hype yourself to invest more than you can afford to lose.

I am actually surprised that Electroneum (ETN) is still alive. Well good for them. I guess there is always a resurrection and I am hoping that the people behind it will make sure they know what they are doing and that they can achieve their goals especially to people they promised to. Anyway, there are now far better projects available on the market with more exciting future so if I were you I would be focusing my eyes on them...just my humble suggestion.

OP is never going to agree with any thoughts that's negative to ETN. He sounds more like a marketing employee trying to disguise himself as an "investor" with the way he responds to the comments. Notice that he registered just recently only to post this.

He also keeps mentioning that anytask which is like a platform that's trying to compete with Upwork. Sure ETN is one of the payment option there but would be job providers really choose that over the more convenient credit cards?

I hold ETNs since late 2017. It’s the first ever ICO project that I’ve participated back then. Until now I still keep my paper wallet and private keys. Never touched it nor using it as a utility. I just simply hold them not because I am bullish in their project until now. It’s just that the value is way down than what I have initially bought from 2017.

Unless they are going to do something that keeps up with the trend, probably they would be making one more noise especially for ETN token holders.

I thought etn was already dead and buried, didn't know there is something worth saving. this project hard a good start, i remember participating in the ico, made good profit as well. i think things started taking a different turn when mobile mining was introduce or after then.
The market is full of layer 1 and 2 projects that it will be hard to get such recognition as before, they had the opportunity to be big but they blew it, and now they will have to fight real hard to be relevant again.

Hi anytask as I see it takes crypto and credit card payments according to the site. As for a marketing man i don't think I would post here thinking it would make the coin fly!!! I was told about the site to look at as I am into crypto. I just read on there facebook about the new blockchain and I think this could be a good investment  so am asking people thoughts to find out more info. Seems to be pretty negative on past performance but this new plan they have sounds like they are really trying hard so I still think it could be good looking forward rather than back.

In 2017, I participated in the Electroneum Bounty, and they gave a decent amount of tokens as a result of this company. I decided to hold their tokens, and as a result, out of the initial $10,000, I had about $300 left. At the beginning of 2023, I sold all ETN tokens. I believe this is not the best project to invest in due to the lack of team activity and lack of project promotion.
This is not a financial recommendation, just my opinion!

Looking at the early years I think they just had some terrible luck then the bitcoin crash which affected all coins....I am just looking forward at the fact they are starting to make alot of noise and fill something big is going to happen 😃

If this blockchain is not backed by some large capital, there is no point in this new blockchain, nor in new token standards. In the market, the advantage of projects is far from the cost of transaction fees. If that were crucial, blockchains like ETH or TRON would have been forgotten a long time ago because their fees are quite high. This is not the case because these blockchains hold a large layer of the crypto ecosystem. The new token standard itself is of no interest to anyone without proper embedding in the ecosystem. Even if it supports commissions worth $0.00000000001$.

My take on this through research is the ico bagged 40 million dollars in bitcoin and ethereum yes? Bitcoin at the time was worth 4500 dollars it then peaked at 60000 a coin now at 30000 so unless they cashed it all which I highly doubt they have a HUGE  budget.....I tell you something is going to happen here I just feel it....

I still remember that Electroneum was a very hyped project like 5 years ago or so when it launched because back then it was the first crypto project that was mineable with your smartphone if i remember correctly or at least the team behind electroneum claimed that. I just took a look at the the price and volume graphs of Electroneum and it really was a active project back then with 10 M $ daily trading volume.
Now it is pretty dead though in my opinion with a daily volume of only 33k$. I mean being mineable on a smartphone is not really that big of a bonus right? It just means that everyone that has a phone can install the electroneum app and gets coins then. This creates a lot of selling pressure.
I personally would invest in an other project.

I'm bullish about electroneum and it's one of the coins that would probably not fail in long term.
I was in into electroneum from the start. Done both the virtual and real mining. It's all a good concept and solid coin with a large community. They failed to keep up the hype after their initial listing. And they were not as attractive to mine during the GPU price hike as other cryptonight coins. Although not much oscillation in the price, I still believe it's a good coin to accumulate for the next bull run.

Thanks for all input but I am holding my ground this is the coin to be in for late 2023 2024 imo....so much coming up that could 10x price....the difference between this coin and others is it's actually making a difference to lives and once that comes out it will go back to it's original 2c plus...all my opinion...mark my words!! In the cryptocurrency world of today, there is currently no invention that is as great as anything after Bitcoin other than Ethereum chain. We can only see layer 2 of two it but they are all still ERC-20. Thinking one ETN-20 will be greater ERC-20 is joke taken too far. After Bitcoin, Ethereum network will always the next in the crypto world until the end of time.

During this time, the project has no development. It looks more like the developers just collected this amount of investment and distributed it into their pockets rather than investing it in the development of the project and providing the token. How long do you need for the project to fully launch after the money has been raised? 5 years? Maybe 10 or 20 years? Those times were very wild and such projects appeared like mushrooms after rain. All of them were created just for raising money and personal enrichment.

Yes it's that coin. The coin who launched their ICO here, and got famous because of the way people can get that coins.

I knew it because I also tried it. I also tried to mine coins without any proper gadgets whatsoever. It's like how PI Network is today, but the token has value already at that time then slowly they came out of the limelight. Developers didn't make any developments in the project, and if they did, there aren't that much support from the community anymore. The project is still running with few updates on their social media accounts, but for me, I consider it a dead project already.

You're a newbie. Follow what will I say.
If you aren't a marketer for these dead project, just invest into Bitcoin. Bitcoin, and only Bitcoin, and not some dead projects like Electroneum.

Ohhh wait I guess you're one of the marketers of them base on what you are saying to us. I guess just good luck because I think that you are doing this because it's either you are being paid by them (which is highly unlikely), or you bought many ETN tokens in the past that you are now at a loss, and trying to manipulate newbies here to buy this worthless token. :P You can't do that because people here are intelligent enough to know what's a good project, and what's not.
