Title: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth?
Post by: mvdheuvel1983 on July 16, 2023, 10:40:45 AM
There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.

In story 1, Defossey (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/15/pinche-gringo-groupo-chilango-gringo-how-i-made-it.html) left a job at Apple to open a BBQ restaurant in Mexico City. It made $9 million in sales last year. In story 2, Sean Audet (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/15/millennial-spent-0-dollars-to-start-side-hustle-now-brings-in-six-figures.html), a 30-year-old, spent $0 launching a food photography side hustle, and now he brings in $134,000 a year.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

Do you know the question you supposed to ask your? Is what you have passion at what people need? Like in examples that you said. People need to eat and need restaurant. People need some of the things people are selling. If you know that people depend on what you have passion for, you can go ahead. You have passion for it and it would be fun.

If it is not what people are requiring, do not go for it.

But you need to also think of ways to let people buy more of your product or service. You need to make them satisfied and show that you are better than most people doing the same business. If you are good in customers satisfaction, you will have more customers and earn more money.

Some people will have a problem. You may have passion in something but not able to setup that thing because of lack or insufficient money.

In business, it is important to have it in a good location and nearer to important things that you need to make the business function.

There are many more passionate and successful stories like the two you mentioned above. But not everyone who follows their passion will have such success, not every pursuit of your passion will be rewarded. I am a witness to following my passion but with no good results. I used to want to be a hairstylist, but while pursuing my passion, I encountered more economic difficulties than the advantages I had dreamed of. But when I switched to another field that I didn't love, it brought me a lot of money. For me, with a difficult life like now, as long as I have a job that helps me earn a lot of money, I will pursue it, I am no longer passionate about my passions. Because passion cannot be more important than wife and children and family.

These tales really are priceless, right? Inspires one to begin work on his or her own dream project immediately. Sure, why not? See how much money these people made by using this strategy! The connection between enthusiasm, drive, effort, and ultimate success (or, in this case, $$$) seems obvious to me

But remember that these are outliers; success rates like these are one in a million at best. Numerous others may have tried, but were ultimtely unsuccessful. Following your passion requires a leap of faith, but you need also have a strategy. Do what you love; I'm not telling you not to. That's the kind of hustle you should be in if it would keep you working hard every day. It doesn't hurt to exercise caution, though

Look around you my friend, and in case you are not paying close attention, what you see is money. I don't think there is anything anywhere that can't generate money, even the sand you always step upon. It's how you view, create, harness and manage them that determines what they offer/give to you.

What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
Talking about passion involvement, it's another opportunity to earn money through what you do. I can't imagine myself doing what I don't have a passion for, and doing what I have passion for is like making money while I live my life to the fullest because I can even live longer doing what I love doing because I actually enjoy doing it.

Personally, I engage in what I love doing and I do not leave any stone unturned. Doing what you are passionate about will surely make you do it better and that will naturally amount to more money.

Only that you might need to learn and be more creative about it in this largely competitive world.

Many people follow their desires to pursue the field they like, of course this must have skills including in the strategy they run when there is an opportunity where desires come true in the sense that they can produce something net worth, this will be an inspiration for everyone where they are sure that what they are doing will produce without dependence on other jobs because by following their desires it is more enough for them.

Why haven't they dared to try this; because they are afraid of failure, do not have the skills they are working on whether the opportunities they have will have a more positive impact, so most of those who have not followed their desires are because they lack confidence in their potential.

In a business that will be started, you must have a strategy and be ready to continue when you fail, you must not give up.

Actually I am one who follows the passion/hobby that I have so far. and even I work in a field that matches my hobby. Actually it is about comfort in work. And when we work in a field that is our hobby, doing work becomes enjoyable. But at one point boredom is sometimes present in life. but that's only temporary.

Following passion is not always successful. Everything has its own risk. It's just that to follow desires, we also must not be careless. we still have to have careful planning and preparation. And not all who follow passion will become filthy rich and make a lot of money. but what is certain is that people who follow their passions will be much comfortable in their work.

You can find 2 or even 100 but there are thousands unknown stories of others who didn't make it so we only recorded about the people who made money. First of all your passion can make you millionaire or even billionaire but you can ask anyone who did that their intention of quitting the job and choosing their path is only to pursue their passion which will give the ultimate self satisfaction.

Let's talk about Mr.Beast who became billionaire already by making videos on youtube alone apart from all his other business still he says that he didn't came to youtube to make money its just something which will drives to keep doing it.

I mean, don't your stories already answer your question? I don't think most people disagree that we can be rich if we follow our passion, but the success rate is incredibly low due to many factors. Counting passion as your only drive won't be reliable. For example, people need the skill to manage a business or launch a website like you shared above, does everyone have that? Do they have the time to learn while not having the pressure to provide food for their family? At the end of the day, your luck, connection, skills, etc plays a part. If you are not prepared from your early days, trying to follow your passion might become painful especially if you need to endure years without getting any decent earnings.

I think passion is one of the motivations that must be owned to achieve a goal. While reading a bit of your story, it may sound quite extraordinary and we want to do the same. However, in their success there must be a steep and winding road. They didn't magically leave Apple, open a restaurant, and become successful. We don't know how many failures he experienced and he kept trying until he finally succeeded. We must also not forget, that many people who try to start a business and fail, mostly give up and don't want to start again, so they never experience success.

But I agree with you. One of the keys to success is a strong desire to achieve a goal. Also, never stop when you encounter failure, try again and try again. Maybe we will find many failures, but one success is enough to pay off all the failures that you have experienced

I honestly feel motivated by their success stories. But I'm realistic, I believe that success will come because of hard work, not because of luck and miracles. So, let's try to get success

For me it actually depends on one's opportunity. There are people who became successful by following their passion because there are a lot of opportunities around them. But for others who tried following their passion but it ended not being profitable, it's because there's not much opportunity around them, or they are in the wrong market. For example, a person living in my country is passionate about arts. A lot of people especially older ones here think that being an artist will not bring you money. Also, it's very common here that when artists try to offer commission, some customers will say that their pricing is too expensive (when it's not). Others don't see how much time and effort artists put in making art. And the money spent on the materials. But if they tried looking for a better market. Mostly in foreign countries, they get paid bigger than the average profit they can get here.

I think it's more on that they are enjoying what they are doing that's why they become successful. And that's why they left their jobs in the first place, because not only that they are not happy with their jobs, but it simply put too much stressed on them everyday that they have to resign from it and then pursue what they wanted to do in life.

Perhaps there are others that is not willing to take the risk to go out and pursue what they want that's why they are stuck in a 9-5 job in their whole life. So it depends on each one of us to go reach for your dreams specially if you are still young.

Same I guess on some people you mentioned. The only problem is the confidence and luck to do that. As you can see its easy to start a business but not in the way you could see that success easily. You need perseverance and a lot of things before getting that achievement. I wonder how many have failed too but it doesnt mean they didnt follow their passion too.

Not all passion could lead into success. This need to be paired with knowledge, great ideas, marketing, great timing and luck. Your examples might have two or more factor of this. Im not trying to give negative impact about being passionate about ideas and talent, just trying to be ideal on one point.

What I see here is competence, passion or not, it's clear that if they don't have the ability to do it well or are passionate about what they love, they won't be able to do a perfect job. As a story without rosy, whether people say that they are passionate about anything, but that passion is different or just similar to other people's interests, and the expression is not much. So if we like anything and are serious about taking a stance to find a solution, then success is just a result sooner or later.

I have a very weird experience and story about passion, I used to passionate about Graphic Design and Animation. I really like to learn about it, keep getting better, digging deep on the technique and several style, but right after I turn my passion into a job and I earned money from this passion, I became less and less passionate about this. What I did next is finding a new hobby and turn it into passion, I am into music now, I learn it, keep digging on it, but now I have a fear if I am actually getting money from this new passion I will lose the passion again.

Personally, making your passion your full-time job sounds unrealistic, at least for the majority of people. I find it very challenging to accomplish that only few end up achieving it in their lifetime. Usually, the majority of us will have a regular job, with one or two days off and the only thing we'll be looking for would be the weekend to have some personal time. I'm not sure if I'm being too pessimistic and depressive, but depending on your financial status and your residence, it may seem like an inconceivable dream.

Back when I was a teenager, my passion was bicycles, creating my own company and designing my own bikes and products, which even if we suppose that I attempt now, it requires great knowledge, craftmanship and capital. On top of that, it sounds too demanding and I have no clue on how to start such a thing. The worse of all, I'm still not sure what my true passion is.

Passion can only take you to some level, it's especially good at the beginning when you grind the new topic and try to get better. But you'll not be passionate if you do the same thing every day for the last x years. You'll get bored and you'll see your passion gradually vanish. To earn big, you'll have to be the best, and that's beyond passion. It's more like you want to be the best and beat other people a.k.a your competitive nature is the dominant force.

Well yes, but depends on how you would work for it. Some people are passionate of something that they are willing to do things still for the sake of passion even if it is not financially benefiting. Well, it has a long term benefit bit for sure things should still be paid. This instance  I guess is more evident with artists. I am one myself but I am seeing others to allow people to buy their service at a low price just because they're passionate of creating arts but it should not be that way. However, this tendency is not absolute and as we all know, many people succeeded to their passions, it just depends on how we will act on it.

Of course if you love something you doing it would feels like you're not working or not obligated to do something because it might considered as your hobby. By that it could increase your performance. But let's be real here and not sugar coat anything, for sure those who get their success also have their downsides before achieving it. There's no easy thing in life especially if you choose passion over something that could help you in the first place. But if you could read some books written by these people then it would really motivates you to move forward and find what's really for you like your passion. You'll need to exert effort and be consistent and have an optimistic mindset.

Passion is essential if you want to turn it into the desired life riches.
Wealth is simply the result of a process by which we work diligently to transform the things we know and understand into the means of creating values that make us happy. I am not talking about the case of people who are lucky with gambling games to expect wealth, the original that I see it appearing in life is fairness, you do something useful, you will surely win get good results, and vice versa.
So in terms of passion, I think if any hobby work that we use well to match the development of society, it will bring achievements.

Passion alone is not enough, the 2 examples of stories above have other supports such as interest, determination, finances, target market and geography that support them to realize this desire. So when we want to follow passion at least there are supporting elements. Not a few people whose goal is to increase wealth end up with economic collapse. As a result, not all of these wishes are good, but there are always gaps to be repaired when you want to make it happen. Factor 1 supports other factors to accelerate economic growth.

Not everyone that follows their passion will become wealthy in life, because people's passion can be build on different reasons, you can love to be sitting at home useless and poor, since it's what you love to do, it's also a passion...

Your passion might not earn you a crazy amount per month like the examples you have on your topic, but there are people making a lot more going something they don't find easy to do, they don't entirely love what they do but they apply discipline to it.

Before you get confused, think about body builders, to have a good shape you need to keep doing the same thing every morning, even when you don't feel like, but if doing something you love is in play here, you won't want to build your day on some days, that's the different.

Passion simply means having a strong affection for a profession or endeavor. When one is passionate about a career he can endure challenges and put in more work because he enjoys what he is doing. When you are having fun with your work, you can put in more hours and other efforts to ensure it succeeds.

But passion alone is not enough because, without other factors, businesses might not flourish. Every business needs planning to succeed. A good plan backed by effective implementation will lead to success in business. Developing the requisite skills is also important. There is a need to gain needed skills that will lead to the production of quality products. If you are passionate but lack the expertise to give quality services, customers will not be attracted to the business. Even if they come, substandard products or services will not make them loyal customers.

When you are talking about passion and what one likes, we should be very sure that what we call passion means that we are extremely passionate about it and not just what we like out of laziness.

I believe not everyone can actually make it with what they have a passion for. Some of our passions are not there to help us achieve success; some are actually there to help us ease stress, have fun, and all that.

Because it works for Mr. A, it does not mean it will work for Mr. B. Another thing I also believe is that having passion can't take one to the lengths that the person desires; determination and hard work will. Passion, hard work, and good plans equal success. If you have a passion for something and you are not taking it too seriously and don't have any mapped-out plan on how you want to work things out for yourself using that passion, Leaving your job in pursuit of such a passion without a plan might lead you to failure.

Passion is not the only thing at play here; hard work and determination play the most important roles in leading everyone in that story to success.

Following your passion is something that everyone should do in their lives. But will it Always lead to wealth generation? Ofcourse not. Your passion can be as simple as gardening which might not be that profitable no matter what you do or something else which isn't that much of an economic activity. However if you focus on money while choosing profession in short term then you'll always end up with lesser net worth at the end but if you follow your passion the money will eventually come.

There is no short amount of way to seize any opportunity, if one's passions are niche enough it also does not count. In the abundance of how the current information flows and how it is potentially able to spread, even if you are not fully leaving a job or a deed, having an extra side project might able to increase or pave the way into a new income channel. You don't have to commit deeply, similar to your second case, initially.

It is a certain thing that publishing your passion, especially in the form of content, might open up the opportunity to monetize it. In the end, it is one of many examples that are surely able to increase someone's income. Actually, there are many examples, but the gist of it is that if we utilize the potency of many digital media, the possibility is enormous.

Following one's passion will ensure one put in your best into your business or career one finds himself, which will lead to positive results in whatsoever you put your mind in. The first thing that might be stopping one is the financial factor, from the example those people worked at a point and come have accumulated wealth to open up their new business. Also, environmental factors and economic situation because your passion might be watered down in your present country and you will need to relocate to a place where it is more valued.

We should also have the core values and attitudes that will help us sustain the investment and make it a long term business. Passion is not enough, hardwork and perseverance are also highly important.

Definitely you passion can set you up for financial freedom for life, in fact you have a better chance of making it from something you are passionate about tgan you are from something you just want to do.

Many athletes today are making it in live doing what they Re passionate about doing and I feel if they had done Anything else they would have probably not been so financially solid from it.

Passion + Job is actually the best combination anybody can ask for,  but unfortunately most people's work today is far from their passion as it's all based on  getting paid!

But if anybody found themselves doing a job or work they loved with a passion,  chances are high that they will work without any supervision which translates into bonuses, overtime and possibly a promotion...which .means net with of you goes up as more money comes your way.

If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
there are many success stories that happened because they chose to follow their passion rather than being under someone else's company but there are also many failure stories of someone who followed their passion and chose to return to being an employee.  i mean the path to success for everyone is different, you may be lucky to be successful with the passion you have but other people may not necessarily be able to emulate it, even so don't give up for anyone, reach for your dreams as hard as possible and find the best way to achieve it.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth?

Whether a person accumulates wealth or not by following his passion depends on the kind of passion he has.  If his passion is non-market related then obviously it won't make him accumulate money.  But if his passion is related to business and wealth accumulating activity then its obviously can acquire the person way more wealth than his job.

Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

I already stated that it depends on the kind of passion the person is into.  If it is related to finance and business then yes it helps a lot to increase a person's net worth because he will be doing all his best and his endeavor fueled with passion means he will not easily to give up on any hardship.

Quote
If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

I have been following my passion, sadly it is not a wealth accumulating thing.

There's following your passion that will lead you to wealth, and then there's following your passion when it only conveniences you.

There's no doubt the people you mentioned here, and a couple more unsung ones achieved financial freedom if not complete wealth from following their passions. However, they did so with discipline and a thirst for success. If you don't have those things with you and you're going for your passion in search of profit or catharsis, that's not a passion, that's a hobby. Honestly, nothing bad about having a hobby every now and again but things aren't getting any easier for us Average Joes out here, inflation biting us in the ankles, quality of the environment going to the shitbox, to name a few. Only resolution we can achieve is actually paying our way into a better life, which in my experience couldn't be achieved by slaving away your life to your regular 9-5, so there's that.

Most times, one's passion may not increase his net worth as without the necessary capital to help turn the passion to a lucrative business, the passion has a high chance of either dying because the stress of seeking for investors and taking loans maybe discouraging or incur loss because the profit gained is far lower than the capital invested.

On rare occasions when there is sufficient funding for the business, the passion would not only increase one's net worth but also serve as a source of employment to many because as the demand for the product increases so does demand for manpower.

It is highly recommended that one have a stable source of income before pursing your passion so that the income from passion isn't the only source of income and in a case where the passion is incurring loss, you still have a steady income to provide for daily necessities.

All that OP have shared are the success stories. Same as the success story we were able to see good number of Store that are hidden as they followed the passion and failed in life leaving their comfort. This happens, and to my understanding when one have decided to follow the passion and grow high he/she should have the ability to withstand long term. Some might be lucky to succeed at the shortest and the same doesn't happen with everyone.

Hypothetically speaking, you can monetize almost anything. So it's possible to make your passion work for you, but how hard or easy it is to achieve this depends on what your passion is. If your passion is programming, you won't have a problem finding a high-paying job. But if you passion is playing video games, you'll have less options - becoming a videogame streamer, bloggger, journalist, pro gamer, etc. The demand for those experts is far lower than the number of gamers.

It would be still a hit or miss because if we do speak about assurance on what your future be like then there's no one would be able to know and this is something that would be still risky if you do leave your current job

just because you do go on what you have desired or on your passion. It did really just turns out that those people mentioned above did really be able to succeed on what they had trying out to pursue but we know that in this world that not everyone who would follow with their passion would really be ending up positive, theres always those people who do fail up on doing so. This is why when it comes to choices then it would really be entirely be depending on someone because not all would really be that so risk taker when it comes to this kind of decisions and this is why even if they dont like on the current job they do have but they cant really afford on losing it, considering that finding a job nowadays is really that pain in the ass due to extreme competition. Its true that its not really that good on working into something which is out of your interest but this hard life does really
give out you no choice but to deal with it.

It depends on what one is passionate about really. When passion turns to money is if one has taken the time to refine it into a skill that is unique. Here, passion becomes value and value is money.
Passion for something, is love for the idea of it. It is love for the process and the result; the results of time, commitment and attention. No one is also advised to do what they don't love, and when doing what you love, make sure such passion pays for the time spent on it, and brings fulfilment in return.

Intellectual property is one way passionate people have wealth and increase their networth.
So yes, a passion that is refined accordingly can lead to an increase of my networth.

It is never that simple, it is true that if you are doing an activity you like then by virtue of spending more time doing it and by not feeling you are working at all then you will better in that activity compared to an activity you do not like, however this does not guarantee that you can reach the level necessary to profit from it or if the activity itself can be monetized, so in some cases following your passion is without a doubt the correct choice, while in other cases is a huge mistake to follow it.

Before I go ahead to either be for or against the notion, I would first like to warn that, being wrongly motivated to take drastic measures without a careful and calculated plan to back it up has ruined many. Don't be in a rush to believe just what you want because you find it working in someone else's life.

Following one's passion has gotten many fame and lifetime of success as much as it has resulted in the poor state or failure of few.
I recall a fellow of mine while in high school, he had a passion for singing and at some point, he dropped out to pursue a music career. His tuition fees and house rent wasn't spared in this endeavour.

Unfortunately for him, his plans vaporised right before his eyes and years after we've all graduated, he came back to enrole in high school again. Years wasted in chasing a dream your not sure of and with plans that wasn't carefully calculated.

those will be lessons in life we need to carry on for the rest of our lives. as long as we live on this earth, we have hope to change our lives for the better. it may take years before we came to the point that we need a change in route. but at least, we are open to change. with passion or not, our life is basically carve by our choices in life. we can always change the path by changing our life's choices even if we take a lifetime of changing it, so long you have hope, we can overcome such bottlenecks.

Your question already has an answer, and to elaborate more on it, this is because they took the risk, which is why they are now where they wanted to be, but again, all of us will not have the same results as them because others may fail, and that would be difficult for those people. It is a combination of knowledge and luck on their side that makes it successful. If I compare this to my life right now, if I took a risk on my passion, for sure, my family would have nothing to eat. That is why I didn't take the risk.

Having a passion for something is only one aspect of the factors that contribute to your chance of having a success with something. There are other factors like "hard work ethic / Having a market for your goods or service / timing  etc... that has to happen, for people to make a success of their projects.

They say, a person that loves their job... do not work a day in their life... and that is why those people are successful. They do not care to work overtime or to do anything extra to make a success of their work.  ;)

The reason why most people didn't follow their passion is they're already work under someone company and they already get stable income. Sure you might say they can work harder after they going back to their home, but your energy has been drained, so you can't put all of your idea or learn more seriously.

However it depends on your passion, if your passion has no demand, even you're very skilled you wouldn't make a lot money. Currently one of the biggest demand is web developer, if you're very skilled in this thing, you would make a lot money.

It's not the story, it's the conviction and effort in making it happen.
Many fail with decisions made after quitting a company because they don't know what to do to get on with a new business.
On the contrary, it is not uncommon for people to succeed after deciding to stop working in a large company by continuing the new business they are doing.

Apart from belief and effort, there are other factors that will bring someone to achieve it all, namely capital and knowledge such as creative ideas that will be applied to the new business as unique as possible.
IMO, for people who have talent in business, the steps to do that are relatively easy.

It can be done, especially if he really likes something and decides to make it to make money. I've seen some people who used to be doing something just for fun but they decided to exploit its potential and found that what it was doing could be profitable.

A clear example, in this case, is if someone really likes culinary and he tries to do a review of the culinary he visited. From what was originally just a hobby or fun, it can be a source of income because there are many offers to review places to eat. Countless people have successfully followed their passion to increase their net worth and they discovered it by accident.

What stops us from following it is laziness. We feel we can't be like them and have no passion to do something even though we haven't tried it. Another reason is that we only imitate what other people do even though it won't suit us especially to make money. We have to find our passion and do it with pleasure so that from that happy feeling, there is a desire to go further. Find your passion and do it and you will find your way to grow it.

Money is typically not a priority in businesses, jobs or works we are truely passionate about, but sufficient rewards (not necessarily money) do certainly come if the jobs are well done.
Why choosing a job we are passionate about or love is important is that it helps us endure whatever challenges we may encounter while doing the job, to stay long enough to master/perfect it and become successful or have a break through.

The line between success and failure is very tiny, you can do something and become successful while others try the same thing but they fail. Your passion can lead you to increase your network if you try it and become successful and also it can lead you to become broke if you try it, invested so much believing you'll make it but later failed. We have many individual that have followed their passion but failed and we have those that have succeeded.

For every individual that followed their passion and succeeded, we have many other individuals that didn't succeed but we won't know or hear about them since the world doesn't celebrate failure but only success is been celebrated, lets find our own path to success.

What you say is very true, because simply put, if someone is working at a job he likes and loves, it is certain that he will not feel bored more easily when there are any challenges. Because he definitely knows what he has to do while still enjoying his job thoroughly even though the amount of sales may not be much. But if the job he likes continues for a long time, his income level will also be very large and can also make him open another branch of his business in another place.

In terms of business, I personally place money on the second point after crowded places and cooperation networks that can be mutually beneficial to each other. Because when a businessman has a business in a crowded place and his business is known by all his friends, of course he will get great sales if he doesn't create a disturbance for other people's businesses.

And when sales have increased, of course the money he will get will also not be small, so it is for this reason that makes me put money on the second point after a businessman has made an extraordinary promotion in a crowded environment. This means that as a businessman, we must be good at targeting customers first before targeting large amounts of money because money can come by itself through customers who buy more on a daily basis.

I believe so. In a perfect world, we are supposed to do what we love to do. We are supposed to do what is in line with our gifts and skills. Maybe we cannot call it work or job anymore since we are liking it and enjoying. So obviously, our passion leads to more success and success is everything including our net worth.

Although there are also exceptions. When we talk about passion, it also means happiness. Many people do not dream of becoming super rich. Personally, I also like to develop and build a career out of my passion. And when the time comes that I am satisfied with my net worth, I will most likely just donate and help those in need rather than focus on the growth of my wealth.

When you're truly invested in your work, it becomes more than a job. And that fire for the fight keeps you going when the going gets tough. You keep on truckin' along, maybe not making a killing at first but eventually making some serious wealth

You make a very valid point that in the corporate world, location and networking are more important than financial resources. As the adage goes, "location, location, location" (or something like). Sales are sure to skyrocket in a busy area with the correct connections. Of course, we need to get along with other companies without treading on their toes

Let's talk money now. You wouldn't think money would just appear, would you? The keys to success are a happy and devoted customer base. The cha-ching will come if they are satisfied and spend more money. The pursuit of customers is more important than financial gain

There's always a reason why they follow their passion, because as far as I know passion comes quickly and sometimes it changes, I think they had previous abilities before following their passion in this field, at their age when moving is not the age to experiment, but they have understanding and knowledge before doing it, when they find instructions about business that come out of self-will, this will be continuous and and you only need to be equipped consistently.

For me maybe yes and maybe not, sometimes the desire belongs to the company but if there is a lot of initial capital that must be prepared, both from plans, money, knowledge, network and others which are the goal of foresight how can he get income. That's good, but you have to prepare for it long ago, because even if you like it, business is still a business that has a cruel character to its pioneers.

Not always. Maybe your passion isn't shared by the people around you. It's not part of their culture and preference, so you won't be successful on the area where you live and to move yourself to somewhere else where your passion will be welcome can be really expensive and out of your currently reality.

A simple example would be: your passion is to work with barbecue restaurant, but where you live 90% of the people are vegetarians. So it's not going to work and you will get frustrated in the end... When you or things you like to do are too different from what the people around enjoy, life can become really annoying. You feel offset, like you don't fit in anywhere and can't put in practice things you like.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
Passion alone is not enough, the 2 examples of stories above have other supports such as interest, determination, finances, target market and geography that support them to realize this desire. So when we want to follow passion at least there are supporting elements.
This is correct. Passion alone is not enough if the rest of the investment elements are absent, the most important of which is providing sufficient budget to finance that passion. This applies to those with artistic creativity and high style.
On the other hand, there are people whose passion is in performing certain jobs, and therefore they can join a project where they can employ those skills and benefit from their passion. This applies a lot to those with computer skills.
In general, it can be said that passion can help increase wealth, but this always depends on how the person wants to employ it.

Pursuing our passion does not always bring the expected success, sometimes we encounter many difficulties and obstacles. Everyone has a different experience. But remember one thing, career and passion decide is up to you. There is no right or wrong answer, and there is no single pattern. You need to listen to your heart and make decisions based on your satisfaction and responsibility.

Also remember that you and your family's happiness depend on more than success or money. If you are satisfied with your current job and provide stability for your family, that is also a success. Don't forget that the love and support of family is always important.

The only thing that is stopping me is, i haven't find my passion yet. I am more like a person who wanted to acquire many skills but now i came to know that i can not do that until i have hundred percent grip on one skill only then i should move to others. So the main things is i had not chooses any field as my passion yet. But i think i like to write article because for writing article i have to do many research and that research have helped me a lot in my university exam that somehow till now i was able to maintain a CGPA of 3.89.

The above examples are definitely motivating and we should learn from them. Following your passion is not an easy task, for the first example, defossey must have saved so much money to run his business from scratch and that money is the main cause for many people to start following their own passion. So, many just stick to their 9 to 5 jobs. Same, goes for the second example, the sean audet must have faced a lot of Financial pressure and of course family pressure too if he likes to pay black tax.

And yes, if we will follow our passion one day we will be enjoying our journey to make our passion come true and of course during that journey we will be making money too.

Passion is probably the most important thing you should have if you want to be successful at doing anything. Passion and determination. Giving no fuck to the naysayers but also being wise enough to listen to the people with good knowledge.

There was a very good example in a movie, "Forrest Gump".

Bubba was obsessed with shrimps and it didn't matter if he was in the middle of war or his sleep at night, he was always talking about shrimps. He knew every little fuckin detail about shrimps. After the war, Bubba started his shrimp business and became a very successful shrimp-man.

Shit like that really happens.

Oftentimes, I wonder if money is removed from the equation, would we still be as motivated as we are? I wonder if following our true passion is actually for the pure pleasure of wasting away at the thing we truly love, and not for the financial gains. Many people have followed their passion, and it led to increased net worth, but this happens when the environment supports it. However, following one's passion requires bravery and courage because you do not know if the outcome would increase your net worth or not. You do not know how long it would take to achieve it. And there is also the fact that if you abandon everything and follow your passion and fail, people will laugh at you.

So, I say before you throw in the towel to follow your passion, have a plan in place. Everyone I have read about who followed their passion made a calculated and strategic plan. That's why we read about them. There are also those who blindly followed their passion and failed, whom we don't read about.

Well... You did not talk about how much they made in their previous job other than their current jobs.

However,  every hustlers are aimed to have a continues of increases in their prospective business. This is why people leaves one job opportunities to the other.

Hence, your passion may not lead to an increase to a net worthy rather it gives you a devoted confidence boosting your  nomenclature desires on a particular field.

Your passion would encourage you to feel relax, staying focused, boosting your moral with a Strong like of loving your job and settling so passionately on that field.

Your passion would earn you tirelessness, multitasking and even feel welcomed during difficulties and  encountering work overloaded.

Your passion would energies you go extra mile robusting your ego equivalent to earn you increases on a net worth.

I have always look forth being a military. Air force or a Naval office precisely.
After many attempts without succeeding due to the nature of the country Nigeria I am in, at most scenero in a competitive carrier recruitment, you must have a higher personality at the top which I don't have and this had jeopardized my dream of being a military.

My passion of being a military is beyond margins that I says to myself that it is best to me being on the military uniform where I can earn a one-third comparing to any huge amount to be earned if working in an oil sector or for the government.

This is what a passion is. You don't go for increase of your net worth but for the love and for what you finds joy and enjoys doing at any of it's nature and condition.

Passion would aim to gain you professionality and creativities towards a field then if it terms to offer you increase in your net worth that would be a pocketable bonus to you.

I'm someone who believes that we can make money in various ways and places as long as we know how to take advantage of an opportunity. Afterall, no matter how trivial our passion is, there will always be a community that will be willing to spend money for it. You have to be creative and see your passion as an outlet of opportunity, do not box yourself in the idea that you are the only one enjoying that specific thing or that you like it only because it's fun and gives boost of happiness. You have to see it as an opportunity, you have to view it with a mind that is willing to experiment, find ways, search for opportunities in that specific area you are passionate about.

Desire and ambition of course can still be one part to make you more passionate and excited but of course in this case there needs to be capital and careful planning and with some considerations.
The story you told seems to be a good thing and can be a good encouragement. but on the other hand, we also have to realize that they don't live easily and that only a happy picture is shown not with a picture of difficulties and some other worst possibilities.
A small example in this case is Colonel Sanders who we may know that he is someone who owns KFC with a brand value of more than $12 billion in 2020.
His story is so inspiring because by selling fried chicken alone he can become very rich but in fact he also has many sad stories such as failure in business, trade competition and even his recipe was rejected more than 1000 times before he could finally become now.

Having passion and determination when reflecting on some of the cases of billionaires is certainly a good thing but in this case you need to remember that it is not easy and needs a mentality as strong as steel to make us successful. When only expecting success only with ambition without having other qualifications it could only be an empty hope because the ambition we have is not accompanied by skills or qualifications in that field.

@Op, you shouldn't just take 2 examples if it's not a rare story that only a few people experience. Passion isn't always going to have high commercial value, so it's a concern for people. Today in some low-income countries, people just want their daily needs to be sufficient, compared to the example you took that might come from someone with good economic preferences who have lots of ideas and opportunities to make it happen.

Everything really depends on how we can see things from a different perspective. If we have a broad point of view. then we can more easily see something as an opportunity. Even a desire can be exploited if we see an opportunity in it. but if in desire we don't stand a good chance. then I prefer to avoid it. unless we can create our own opportunities in a business. Creative and innovative ideas are needed to make it happen.

This is kinda mixed and it depends per individual, OP. I haven't heard who Sean Audet, but good for him being able to launch a photography sideline. Whatever passion he has in photography is still surely burning. Some people just tend to burn out in their passions and they chase different interests whenever they do.

Think of it this way, doing passion in your free time as hobby is entirely different from doing your passion with a set of deadline and demand. Somehow I haven't felt that burn out from writing codes even if it is frustrating to solve problem sometimes. Some people in my field do stop whenever they felt their passion burning out.

Following your passion doesn't guarantee increase in your net worth. It depends on what is your passion but more likely it depends on how you can monetize your passion. You can pretty much clean streets and earn more than doctors and software developers if you know how to monetize it. The modern world gives us the possibility to monetize absolutely everything, people even monetize what they eat.

One easy example that I can tell you is UFC. Before Conor McGregor, UFC athletes were struggling, including Conor too but Conor managed to make fighting profitable by introducing trash talk while still kicking his opponents asses.
There are really endless examples, everything depends on you. You can be a person with millions of dollars and be incapable to make a profitable business and there can be a person with average income and create a multi billion dollar business. I don't think we can advice anyone to follow their passion or work 9-5 job because it's very individual, some fail and some succeed.

Passion is what you love doing that makes you happy, do we know that some persons have passion for bad things, so how do we classify this set of people?

My question is

do people need or crave what you have passion for?

do you have the knowledge of what you have passion for?

can you deliver if people decide to patronize you based on what you finally settle for?

What if it is prohibited stuff that someone has a passion for, how does such a person make money from it

Passion should come with full knowledge, having a passion for anything does not determine income inflow, because as much as I can remember people have passion for irrelevant things, so should such a person expect money from such, the answer is a capital NO.

The way passion is talked about in the mentioned two stories is reflected in reality in few people. But there is no way to deny such an occurrence. Among those whose passion works intensely and who are able to implement according to their desire, many have become successful, but there are many who work hard but their dreams are get broken. I think everyone should prioritize their dreams but here the decision should be made considering the difference between emotion and reality.

Passion without being wise aka lack of knowledge is still going to birth nothing but a low success rate, you can have a passion to become an electronic store owner, or you can have a passion to become a drug dealer, and look at bigger mentors like Marcola or Pablo Escobar, there are passions for crime and serial killing too, so passion doesn't automatically mean something good or bad.

In whatever you decide to do, motivation should be the last of them all, you need consistency, disciplined, and knowledge, don't ever feel like you own them all, because they are endless, you need to keep seeking them nonstop.

Whatever is going to work, people around you will try to ruin your motivated spirit and if all you have is motivation, it will go away very quickly as if you throw a lamp through the window, do not let anyone who don't know why they exist talk you out of what you so much believe in, they can't see what you saw.

Do not overlook other variables, for passion alone is insufficient to ignite one's success. You require capital, family support, close friends' backing, a conducive environment, positive companions, and much more. Everyone possesses passion, but not everyone achieves success through their passion.

The tales of individuals succeeding through their passion arise from having a supportive environment. People will also experience weariness when they must pursue their passion every day without earning enough to sustain themselves.

As normal human beings, of course we desire to be rich, it can be said that wealth is the most important condition for happiness because nowadays almost all goods and services must be exchanged for money so that without good finances it will be difficult for us to be happy.

That is really life; we sacrifice things just for the sake of our family. For sure, you are doing that for your family; you just took that job because it has a high salary, and you learn to love it. We are in the same situation, but mine is that I would say it is still a good pay but not enough based on what I've been doing, but still, because of my family, I need to do this job even if I don't like it. The problem with this is that I don't enjoy it, but I just use my family as motivation.

Sometimes what profits others will never profits you or what favors others would never favor you. Hence, following ones passion doesn't only guarantee's your success but it also shows how dedicated you are by following your passion in other words, we can call it instincts.

Whatever your instincts ask you to do something follow them and adhered to instructions as it is, otherwise you can still quit your job and followed your passion business or whatsoever and never becomes successful in life.

When you focused in pursuing your dreams, it automatically makes you to draw success closer to you why because your are passionate about what you want and what you have ventured into. Especially when you are working and chasing your dreams without getting tired of working for it, perhaps any business and works you often find yourself too hard to work on or by stressing yourself while going to work is not your dreams job.

A job is something you should be doing with ease without any emotional discomfort and weakness whenever it's time for work. As man be it woman, are meant to work on job you finds pleasure of going to work. Therefore, our desires and passion is what actually leads to increase our income by whichever net worth is being achieved.

I think interest play a vital role in this case because in some business in which you don't take any interest you will not be able to make huge profit. Other thing is a behavior if you speak in a good manners to others then you will receive fruitful results from your business because your words have a great impacts on others decision.

Passion is what you make you successful like someone have passion about trading and investment so they will learn more easily and will be interested in getting all the knowledge about it which will cause them to get good revenue. People have lots of opportunity but one will select that jobs which he likes and know how to handle the things.

I think yes it can make significant difference within the person. Since it’s a passion one can easily reach the goals quicker because they are clear and straight. When a person opens any random business then there might be many challenges that could come across. For example, learning the new business, learning new skills may be, starting from scratch and much more. However, if you see the examples above then they followed their dreams. They followed something that they know very well and hence the path was more easier and lucid. I would definitely vote up this situation as compared to the non passionate use case.

This kind of ambition can be good or bad.
Indeed, everyone should have an ambition to make us have a goal in life especially related to wealth. But besides that, things are a little more complicated when we are filled with ambition sometimes it is precisely what makes us blind to other things because our focus is only on ambition.
Ambition is a good thing but being too ambitious is also a bad trait because sometimes with the ambition we have we keep pushing ourselves which makes our obesession even higher and when something like this happens it will create danger to ourselves.
Do as much as you can and don't chase something that you can't chase because it will make you become retarded with false obsession.

Most people end up building businesses in fields that they are most familiar in, they are able to spot an untapped niche or idea that they think can offer customers an improvement. Then there are much simpler concepts like becoming a barber/hairdresser, where your first few years are likely spent refining your skills but eventually you may move on to opening your own shop. It's all about finding the right blend and also comes down to the personality of the individual who is launching the business - the idea is the easy part, all the rest is the difficult hard work that is over glamorized on TV - but you have to juggle bills, accounts, customers, vendors, problems and all sorts of other things.

The difference on doing on what you do passioned about is really that it do really give out that kind of perseverance and inspiration to do the job well and on the time that you would be able to have that sufficient funding then you would really be  definitely be creating or making your own shop or business if you do have the chance and since it is really that included into your interest then i wont really be having doubts that you would be starting one soon. Just like on what you have said that there might be people who do touch up other niche or  type of business which they arent familiar off with but this would be case to case basis on which
some would succeed and some would not and trying out to find on what best fits for them. No one really knows on when it would really be able to show up some progress or not.

The best thing only prefers is on that you are doing into something which it is really that suits out your interest and its just an option or choice whether you would go on certain extent or not.

In reality, your passion will never lead you to any success unless you have the high knowledge and honed skills that are needed for a successful endeavor. Although I would say it’s also vice versa if you have the knowledge and skills, and yet you don’t have the passion and interest to pursue your goal, then you will still be unsuccessful. Yes, a lot may have gone a long way from following their passion, but I believe passion alone will never take you that far.

Yes it could be. But we also need to have positive mindset and the right attitude so we can sustain our investment and make it successful in the end. While I have to admit that we need passion in everything we do, but passion on its own is simply not enough. We need more than patience and understanding the market and our investment, aside from gaining knowledge and skills in the first place.

I have always had a passion for finance, especially since my father started teaching my about finance from a very young age (probably around 8 or 9 years old).  It since lead me to my career, which I'm very passionate about.  My main passion is helping others, and by doing a good job by helping others, remaining ethical while doing so, my job titles have grown and grown over time.

The fact that I am passionate about what I do for a living shows, and has helped lead me up the "corporate ladder".

My advice to anyone is try and work in a field you are passionate about, or at the very least..somewhat enjoy lol.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

Following your passion sometimes can lead to regret and it mustn't mean that it will always yield a positive result at the end, the two names you mentioned are people who followed how they feel about something and it worked for them and mind you it doesn't mean if you on the other hand follow the same way that it will work for you, so to me I don't feel following your passion will ALWAYS work for you. It can only create a cage of regret and hate for yourself, imagine you have a better monthly pay job and you say you'd like to quit that job and establish your own along the line it might turn up to be bad for you so is a 2 ways thing, to either get it right or live in regret.

There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.

That could possible your passion can lead to an increase in your net worth. If the business you tend to put up is your passion most likely it would be successful because all your effort, motivation, determination and perseverance are all combined. If it is your passion you are also more likely to be creative, innovative and of course you are very much willing to take risks that can lead to growth of the business. But not everyone can be successful with their passion, it would take some time and effort to be able to be successful and how eager you are to incorporate your passion to business. We should try to work hard and make it happen to be able to be successful.

It depends on many things, including luck, because there are many people who have passions and do not make considerable money from them. In fact many do not even try or even cost them money.

Vincent van Gogh only sold one painting in his lifetime, so that influencer/coach thing of "follow your passion and you'll become a millionaire" didn't work for him.

I recommend doing it with brains. If you have a stable and very well paid job, do not leave it to pursue your passion that today gives you $0. Start on the side, see if you can monetize it, if the thing is growing, pile up savings in the meantime, etc. and depending on the circumstances you can take the big leap, but never do it crazy.

Most people want to earn big income but they don't know effective ways to earn big income. Increasingly difficult economic conditions like today make us have to be vigilant so we have to be able to refrain from bad habits such as shopping easily, as long as we can resist the temptation to spend money then we will be successful in managing finances.

I don't even remember what I was passionate about and loved when life got harder and harder, and all I could think about was doing any job as long as it brought me lots of money. Currently, my job is stable and gives me a decent income, but if someone asks me if I am passionate about it, I will say no. But it's giving me a better life than many people, so it can be my passion, as long as it makes money for me, I'll be passionate.

Passion or hobby will be useless if our children have an empty stomach and cannot lead a full life like their friends. Pursuing a passion is something everyone wants, and I sincerely advise those who are unmarried and who do not have to bear a lot of pressure in life to follow their passion. Because when you have a family, there will be more to worry about than your passion.

If your passion and job are similar, this will increase your net worth because when you're work in something that you like, you're always try to explore, learn and try anything in every time.

However it's not always if you have a different passion and job, you will not able to increase your net worth, you can still increase your net worth to try harder, but you're sacrifice your mental health. It's like you always want to resign, but you can't because you must to work to feed your family.

For me, I will say that the people in that story made success in their respective passion simply because there was an already existing market demand for their product or services before venturing into it, which skyrocketed their revenue immediately people knew about them, unlike someone going into a field with zero depend, as that person is bound to fail, because what causes the creation of wealth is not passion itself, but passion plus existing demand equals to wealth, which is why an experience entrepreneur always study his/her environment before bringing up a business idea likely to be profitable.

I think what everyone is stopping from it is having the safety net. Because with the greatest question is: "What if you fail?" or "What if you lose a lot of money?" So instead of taking that risk right away, they want something first to establish a money or asset to fall back on. That way, they will not get back to their job.

Because it's not only the business idea or the demand that matters. It is also about the timing of their business, or of one's passion. That's why you have to try again and again ubtil the right time of opportunity comes.

Yes, of course, passion is not enough, especially during these hard times. We need more than just passion but personally, I will be more positive and confident to further enhance it and have more patience rather than something I am not fond of or compared to other jobs that need skills that are okay but not my passion. Although we can still grow and have the passion for these jobs it is not the same as the things we love to do.

And there are also times that we need to just pursue a career in something that is not our preferred due to difficulty looking for jobs and business opportunities and there is nothing wrong with it.

True. While passion is very important to achieve life’s success, but know that not all passionate people achieve their dreams and aspirations. That’s because they only have passion but have not gained enough support from other factors as well. Success in life is not only determined by passion, but also with focus and concentration, positive mindset and right attitude, and also knowledge and skills that are very crucial, aside from capital and it’s perfect location for a good business.

We need to also remember that depending on what the person is passionate about it can be more easy or more difficult to make any money with it, for example a person that was passionate for music will find a lot of problems to make any money with it as there are millions of people competing with them to reach any kind of success, while someone that was passionate about repairing cars will more easily be able to obtain money out of their hobby as they could easily be hired by a car repair shop.

I can see that passion is what we all need when we want to achieve something. Without passion, we will never reach that point and realize our dreams. However, I also believe that passion is not the only means to achieve your dream or to realized your goal in a business. First, you have to be knowledgeable and experienced at first, second you have to be at your best attitude and never easily quit when losing, and of course you have to do everything with high passion and eagerness so that everything will come out positive, everything will work according to your plan.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

Well, the truth of the matter is that, working on something you really love, that is something you are very passionate about, turns you up to become the best of you, and that opens doors for you, when you love your job, you will always be happy putting in the extra minutes, hours needed or required to push that business or company forward, note that the key reference here is that, you are always happy, its just like that Vacation song by Dirty Heads, he said hes always on vacation every single day simply because he loves what he does, you can listen to the song here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcESDWpysmc (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcESDWpysmc).

And for why i am not doing what i am passionate about? how did you know that i am not already doing what i love and passionate about? ;D, well, the truth of the matter is that many of us are not opportuned or fortunate like that second guy you mentioned, to start doing what we are passionate about at a free cost, personally for me, going into what i am passionate about will require quite a lot of money, and the money i am still working on making.

There are indeed several factors on which it would really be mainly affecting out on getting hired or getting a job or career just because of competition which the thing you have said is true and accurate

but basing up on the other side or means about the passion on a certain job then it would be entirely be also basing up on your interest on taking up such career or job, whether you would pursue despite of the high competition or would completely be contented on whats available? We know that not all would really be to have the opportunity on taking on what their interest is been into but rather they
would really be just simply accepting on what they do currently have as they dont really have no choice but nothing really beats out if you do something which is really that aligned on your passion.

You would definitely be happy on what you are doing and would really be doing you best as this one do really fits out on your interest.

They followed their passion because they know it will work perhaps after a careful research and stories of others, there is no way you can jump into something without believe and research, you can't wake up one day and says you have passion for something without due diligence, proper research must have been done, proper findings must  have help you clear the hypothetical questions before you start and that's what I believed help those who have a success stories to share.

However, in a every good stories, there is something they are holding back, they wouldn't tell you everything, the challenges they hard because by looking at it, you may think the journey was smooth but by the thing you try to test it out, you will be amazed by the untold story they held back while sharing the good stories.

In addition, you may have passion on anything and may still failed, life is not fair sometimes. You may even succeed in the beginning and failed at the middle line, just put determination in anything you do and keep striving hard, repeat it again and again all over again until the goals and objectives becomes visible on your eye but know that the road is not as smooth as people do claim.

With the different situations we have it is true that following our passion can lead to different results. Some may thrive and some may have to look for other outlets for their financial needs. Perhaps in a more ideal world, we can all pursue our passion while making money not only for our needs and the demands of our lifestyle, but also to dive in deeper to that passion.

The formula is simple, to embark on the journey, you merely need initiation. Yet, to nurture triumph, consistency becomes the key. Many falter due to an inability to stay consistent in their pursuits. For consistency plays an immensely pivotal role in the ultimate outcome of any endeavor.

Staying steadfast in an endeavor with uncertain results indeed proves challenging. Nevertheless, every virtuous intention is bound to yield virtuous outcomes, be it in business or any enterprise.

It's good to follow passion but you also have to know that it's not just because they have the passion for that particular thing. They succeeded because they worked hard and smart.
Many other people have followed their passion and things did not work out for them.
Following a passion is not a piece of cake. It's challenging. It requires a lot.

I believe we'll be best at what you're doing if you like what you're doing. That's why I always advise people to develop a certain likeness to whatever they want to go into, instead of just going into it because people make money out of it. It's like wanting to go into music because of the money in music. If you don't have a passion for music, you will not be successful at it.

There are actually people who succeeded when they sacrificed their passion over practicality. Most of them have chosen a field with a higher compensation over their passion while there are lucky people who have succeeded in their career and passion at the same time. However, it will always require us to do hard work and perseverance as there will always be challenges that might come along our way no matter what our chosen fields are. Passion or not, we should value what we have and have the eagerness to focus on earning and grinding if we want to increase our networth. Following our passion still requires hard work, it's just a big bonus if we will succeed on it.

I believe that, however, it was not only passion that bring success to them but also they open a business that really suits the needs of everyone - it was a food business and we know that it was a necessity so definitely will grow and give profit especially of manage well. It really depends on what is needed around us because not all of it works well, many had failed also from following their passion and sacrificing themselves to open for others. Because we never know there is a great opportunity, yet we are afraid to take it because we are not comfortable enough to do it.

If someone is serious about their passion and wants to develop it optimally, then that could happen. Net worth may be difficult to obtain without seriousness in preparing, implementing, developing and improving it. because after all, actually this passion also requires hard work and also sufficient capital to support it. But this effort is certainly not easy, because there will definitely be enormous obstacles to becoming something big and increasing wealth. However, if that is indeed our passion, we will usually be more detailed, thorough, passionate, and also never give up with the various conditions and challenges that confront us. especially if it's our passion, surely we will be more than happy to do it. And this passion really needs seriousness, consistency, and smart ideas to develop it.

That should be the case, after all without opening a business, even with a deep and dedicated passion, it will not increase the net worth of an individual.  We all know that there should be financial accumulation involved in order to create an increasing net worth and that only happens if the person markets the result of his passion.  So aside from having a passion, one must be knowledgeable of the marketplace where he can sell the result of his activities.

True that, but the result of the action from passion is way better than the practicality you mention. Because people who opt in for practically are just forcing themselves to do the work while those who are doing things due to their passion are making their best to come up with the best result possible.

Yes. For the most part, business people and entrepreneurs turned to their passions for inspirations in starting their own businesses. One business tycoon here in the Philippines started from being a measly shoe-repairman to owning one of the biggest franchises of malls in the whole world. And it's not just enclosed to businesses too, as many people monetized their hobbies, passions, and interests. YouTubers who are hobbyists for instance turned to content creation for a wider array of audience and profit potential, people who were fascinated with gaming could go to the pro scene and earn money plus acclaim. If you're passionate enough and you have the drive, the possibilities for money will be endless. You just gotta take that leap of faith sometimes.

I thought you're going to say that those people who are into culinary are cooking something for selling later on but that is also a good example right? As for the food review, now I know why there are lots of videos I saw lately about them. Didn't knew that those food reviewers are earning something and maybe the food that they eat is also free? That's a triple treat then.

If we truly love something, we will do it naturally and we won't feel lazy about it. I think the real one that stops us from doing something is being afraid to fail. When it comes to making money or working on a job, it's not that we follow others but it's just that there is only a limited jobs available most of the times, so we just grab the opportunity. The nature of the work wasn't really that tough anyway and it can be done with or without a skill.

And that is the beauty of doing something that you like as instead you can reframe your failures as a learning experience, so instead of thinking that you failed you just think of all the things you need to do in order to improve further, this creates a positive feedback and eventually it will allow a person to become good at their favorite hobby while at the same time they will be able to more easily monetize it, as most likely they will be better at it than those that just consider it a job.

Most of people who are successful in life and holds good networth have followed their passion. Now we follow them and gets inspired, but we don't have the courage to follow our passion. For many people it is the family situation that never lets them to follow their passion, because they need to earn and uplift the family. Following the passion will make you high, but it needs time. Some have all the facilities, but they have the fear in their mind. To come out of it is not an easy thing.

Whether you follow your passion or make yourself to have an on the go choice there must be proper identification. You need to find yourself good in something. When we weren't able to identify it following passion or on the go doesn't lead to success.

Though sometimes it will not go our way, like when you really need a job but you land on not your dream job, we really don't have a choice as there are bills we need to pay, but that doesn't mean we don't look now. If we have free time, try to upskill or find a side hustle that is related to your passion because that is when you can resign from your other work and pursue your passion.

Unfortunately this is the sad truth. Despite knowing that there is a chance to earn money by following our passion, most of us tend to still not do it because of our responsibilities (specially to our families). We need to earn money as quick as possible in order to cater to our family's immediate needs. Hence, despite wanting to venture to the possibilities of what our passion may lead us to, we settle for what can bring us quick financial aid.

Indeed, success stories of Defossey and Sean Audet are impressive and can serve as motivation for new entrepreneurs to follow their passion and create wealth. However, it is important to note that passion alone is not sufficient , there are numerous other factors those play crucial role in growth of business. Among these elements, conducting through marketing research, fostering innovation and creativity, customer appeal of your products or services ,as well as providing excellent customer service are equally important in boosting sale revenues and building sustainable business.

What you say makes a lot of sense and I agree with you that sometimes in the stories they share, they don't tell everything. There must be some stories of their career journey that they cannot share with the public. They may only tell the outline to motivate many people with their story.

Because behind a success of course there will always be a long journey full of obstacles and difficulties. Stories We may never even imagine that such stories exist. And we will also never know how difficult it is to build a business until we try it ourselves. Because behind someone's success story there must also be many failure stories in that person's business. Maybe what is widely distributed in business-related books and educational media are success stories, but in reality I think there may also be more failure stories than success stories.

But one thing we must still have is to never give up. Because I believe only people who never give up will have a greater chance of achieving success.

You should work what you love to do. But this is something not everyone has the luxury to get. Life is not fair, and we are often forced to do something that we don't want to do. But in order to survive, we are doing it anyway. If you want to follow your passion to get success, it will depend on your passion. What kind of passion do you have and what are its use cases? Also, you need an environment where you can pursue your passion in order to make money.

When it comes to "do what you love doing" passion is something that will come first. But as it is not for everyone, it shouldn't be something that you should pursue before trying something else. Those who are successful in doing so, have already done something before. They were already successful and just changed their occupation. They had assets, knowledge, and experience which they used to pursue their passion. If you think you can do the same, then give it a try. You never know before you try.

Having passion is great because it makes us more motivated and become more success driven. However, I would say passion alone is never good enough. We need more consistency in what we do, hard work and focus to our goal so that the chances to increase our net worth is always highly possible. Although I would say it’s already a great thing to have passion but it would be more ideal if we also have positive attitudes as well.

I think it can. If you have passion towards a job or business that you run/plan to start, you are definitely more likely to succeed and make a good profit since you are much more motivated and driven by a business you like and are passionate about. It's just more motivating than having a job you don't really like for an example.

But an important thing is being more passionate about the job and not about the money. Sure, we all work for money and that is the goal, but there is a higher chance to earn something thinking about how to be better in your work and how to be more efficient rather than thinking about money only and forgetting those steps needed to become great. Knowledge and discipline should drive your passion, not wishes and dreams.

Depending on whether your passion is applicable to your current job, most employers look for accomplishment in workers as well as called passion at work that gives a chance to be promoted. There are many workers who just want to earn money, that's enough for them, just work and don't need to improve themselves. So your expected increase in your salary is vague. Before we hope for the increase we want, let's be honest and diligent in our duties as workers not because we worked, we will just expect an immediate increase.Be progressive to have a chance to move up in work and also in life.

Depends on a certain person because not all would really be having that kind of mindset on which they would really be needing to work hard for them to have those promotions specially into those individuals who are working

into a certain company which it is really out their interest or passion but since they dont have no choice but to survive or needing to have some paycheck then they would do the job even if its really that against their interest which this had been a common things that we could really see in todays society.Somewhat on the time that you've been having your work then you would be learning up on loving it until the end.
If ever there's a chance that you could be able to make yourself that effective on a certain field then better apply it out, nothing beats out the feeling on doing things which is really
that including or inside your scope of interest compared to those which aren't which there's really a significant differences in between.

I don’t think the idea is about progression in a current engagement or job attachment. Of course that would come and it happens to those who are diligent in their work but, having alternatives backed by your passion is the idea here.

There is potential in passion and for one to be able to tap into it and convert it to a source of wealth is a skill in which most persons don’t have. Some have got the help they need in other persons, some have got the tools for it while others have got nothing and others have got nothing. Just them passion but, don’t know what or how to go about it.

For sure, most of those who sell them services in the entertainment industry, it’s just passion working out for them. They are still free to have jobs or work jobs but, it’s chiefly passion.

Passion doesn't require developing, it develops itself when you like doing something and you have a great interest in doing that thing, no matter what it is, it can be a sport, it can be a job, a task, or anything in general, as long as you like doing it, you will have a passion for it, and that passion keeps developing as you get into it more and more, and there will be a time when the passion increases to a great extent that you can't stop doing that thing.

One can never give up their passion no matter what comes their way, there will always be a way that one can use to keep following their passion, obstacles and problems can occur for sure, but one will go through them and get out the other side being stronger and more independent to follow their passion with a fresh start every time.

That is why we have these simple words - "leaving out of our comfort zone". Because we never know there is a great opportunity, yet we are afraid to take it because we are not comfortable enough to do it.
True. The demand of the business also counts like you need to find a business that will definitely suit the interest of the people in that location, and I think having a food business certainly grow and progress as long as the site or location is perfect. Also, when there’s passion, great location, comes consistency on your effort and right marketing. That way, your business will never fail but will continue to progress and developed.

Every passions are not about money making or future net worth, many people have passions for things that will make them less money, they can't help but have passion for it, not because of how their lives will change but others.

Some people have passions on things that they found peace with, everything is not always about money.

So the question shouldn't be yes or no (OP already mentioned a couple of cases so it IS possible), but how.

Passion is practical sometimes: passionate people are charismatic leaders, virtuous artisans, tireless adventurers... and many times goddess luck smiles to the brave, either with wealth, fame, love or other virtues.

But many times passion without control ends up being impractical, hedonistic and/or self-destructive. So the passionate should ask himself: am I channeling my passions right? exhibitionist children make great actors when they grow up, for example, but others end up in jail ::)

Yeah if you are having passion for a business and you are able to establish it, then you are going to put more effort just to make it successful, their is always joy in doing what you really having passion for, but before you can be successful you need to have passion for the service that’s needed in the society, because if you are having passion for the wrong thing, then I don’t really know how you are going to be successful. What some people are having passion for, they don’t have the financial capability to establish it, so that’s why most people don’t really go into what they are having passion for.

I can definitely say, turning your passion into profit may sound easy as you already have the skills to deliver good results, however the hardest part is finding a good market and some excellent business and marketing plan. But at the same time, I can also say, there is a huge chance for you to succeed with it, simply because it is what makes you happy that you're not only doing it for money. But then again, building your own business may demand double or triple your effort compared when you're working for a company.
I guess the main reason why a lot of people did not dare to do it is because they are afraid of failure.

I can put myself in this situation as well. I had a talent in drawing and I really wanted to become a full time tattoo artist and build my own studio, but for that same reason, until now I haven't made even a single step to bring that closer to reality.

Passion is just a single factor that is needed for success. But lucky are those who have developed passion from the start because that will also increase their chance to succeed. However, aside from passion, there should also be dedication, patience and discipline, and most importantly you need to gain knowledge and develop your skills on it. If you can achieve all of this, then success will easily come for you.

Getting your first client or selling out your initial product would be the toughest challenge that you would really be having specially if you are really that getting in line with your passion, its true that this is much

preferable compared on doing on something that you dont like but this isnt always the case because if you are in a situation on which you cant really be finding yourself to be that on that area but you dont have no
choice since you are really that needing to have an income, then you would really be finding yourself to make out adjustments basing up on what you are currently dealing with and despite on having
not that getting in line with your passion but you dont have any choice but to accept that fate. It is really just a matter of personal choice on what you should gonna do.

Increasing networth? It would be the least thing that you would be having in mind on the time that you have stick into your casual dayjob which you are really that get used to.
But there are people who are really that mindful about such stuff.

If there is a niche, need or demand in your hobby, then it can be monetized. Though it depends on your commitment too. In both of these stories, those who succeeded had quite their employment to be able to make time for the creation of their business, or passion into their hobby. Anyone can give that a shot, though it is a high risk pathway and only 1/10 will dare to take the risk, and only another 1/10 will succeed after taking that pathway.

Just because a passion can be turned into a business, it doesn't mean that a business should be treated like a hobby or passion. Plans and sacrifices must be made before starting the journey and to ensure its success. Otherwise the failure might destroy the taste of the passion (and your wallet).

I mean some people do some jobs that are amazing in profit and they love doing it so their passion is profitable business, some people do stuff that makes no money at all and that turns out to be a terrible idea financially, and yet they still do it because its their passion, and some people give up their passion because they need to make some money somehow and following a passion that has zero profit means they won't be able to afford anything. So all in all, it depends on the passion and how profitable the passion is. But as in anything, the great ones in anything will make a good profit.

I think it all depends on the profit, because if you follow your passion without making a profit or helping your family then that passion is useless. I believe not only me but many of us are doing work that is not our passion, all for profit, for our survival.  there are very few people who can follow their passion and become successful.  honestly, when I have a family and children, my passion will make a lot of money, as long as there is a job that brings a lot of profit, I will be passionate.

Following what one is passionate about and that it turns out as expected is something exciting but sometimes this does not happen the first time that is why i agree that in certain circumstances not everyone manages to succeed with the goals they set, but there are those moments in which it has nothing to do with the fact that it is a bad business or that we do not have the skills to achieve it but because it is not the time to do it, It may just take time and greater preparation..for example.. there is a case that I would like to mention and it is that of the owner of KFC who achieved his dream after many years of trying that's why i consider that it is never too late and always doing things from the heart is what really penalizes.

Unless you are single and only feeding yourself, people right now want their passions, like traveling while at work or living life to the fullest, which I think all of us wanted before, but because you have a family to feed, you don't have any choice but to accept that your job is not your passion right now, and a lot of people right now are really doing this just for their families, not for themselves.

It depends I guess.

I mean, for example is if you're an artist, like you do love painting and it is your passion, but you don't know how to market your paintings and there's still something lacking in your paints, then you're going to have a problem selling it to people. So it will depends first on how good you are as an artist of your passion, and how you will market it correctly to find people who are looking for such thing that will pay you a good price.

Passion is interesting when it yields no money, but gets difficult when it turns to work. I've read a case where a person who his love for Lamborghini is incomparable ended up getting his dream job, indeed, to race with Lamborghini. He ended up getting bored doing the job; due to fatigue, and stress. In additional, like someone already said, if the passion is not on demand, it won't yield profits. Blogging for instance about yourself, could be a passion, but nobody cares if you brushed your teeth, hence the traffic will be poor and instead of yield profits its decreasing the zeal of blogging in you. In a nutshell, people should work on things that nobody else would do; what they hate. Those things people hate doing can increase our economy if we venture into it, because they hate doing it, they'll pay us to handle it for them.

There's no denying the allure of turning a hobby into a moneymaking enterprise. But your success rate numbers are grim; they reflect the hard truth of starting a business. This is a road less traveled, for sure. But could there be elements beyond effort and time that make a difference? Perhaps external economic conditions, market saturation, timing, competition, a distinctive value proposition, and other factors all play a role in deciding the eventual fate of these enterprises.

Furthermore, I have to politely disagree on one point: the assumption that a business founded on a passion can't be treated like a hobby. Even while running a business requires a methodical and analytical approach, wouldn't you agree that the hallmark of successful passion-based businesses is that they keep an element of enthusiasm akin to a hobby? Finding that sweet spot might be difficult.

You can be profitable in any business you do, but doing a business you have a passion for has more chances of increasing your net worth. You're dam going to spice it up because you love what you do and thereby putting all effort to attract more sales in your business.
Most successful businessmen are people who do business they have a passion for, take for instance, Elon Musk, Markzukaberg left school to develop Facebook App and Bill Gates is successful today because they have passion for what they do.

Agreed to all. I'd say 100:1, 100 being attempts, 1 being successful in the venture...maybe worse....but what is life without risk?
As for external conditions, this is probably more so the reason for failure than it is on the person. If those external factors weren't factors and it all came down to the persons' effort and hunger, I'd say the odds of success would go from 100:1 to 10:1, maybe even 5:1 or 3:1. There are always external factors however, that's a part of what should be factored into the plan that should be created before going ahead and starting a business.

Furthermore, I have to politely disagree on one point: the assumption that a business founded on a passion can't be treated like a hobby. Maybe I worded what I was trying to say incorrectly. I meant that the same general approach to a hobby (spontaneous, leisure, non disciplined etc) or a hobby-like passion can't be turned into a business in the same way, exactly for the reasons that you said (requires methodical and analytical approach). While I see what you are saying with enthusiasm being the hallmark of a passion, that doesn't mean that the same enthusiasm would go toward the new mundane tasks that a business would require to succeed in the near and long term. No doubt that the enthusiasm will help, and no one should really start or run a business without a level of enthusiasm, though I wouldn't say that this is enough to improvise or overlook the complexities and mundane tasks that are involved in running a business.

Having the passion would be always recommended but you cant really have it all most of the time or all of the time on which means you would be needing to adjust instead.Nothing beats out on doing work inside your passion on which you would really be making yourself that efficient since you've been doing on what you do like but just like on what others been saying that there are really moments or things in life
on which you dont really have no choice but to deal up with something that would really be that getting against your interest and since you dont have some choice then for sure you would
really be dealing with it and you would really be that not much efficient but well we do have our own will on what are the things that we are dealing with. Increasing networth is something
that we would really be prioritizing but due to lack of opportunity and interest then it would be that useless or having no sense at all.

Will matter depend on your capability and your availability to do it since you cannot follow your passion if you are the bread winner of your family since you can't risk to have no job for months just follow your passion since you and your family will get hungry for that. That's why when its early its good for us to think about our future so that we can place things all at good place and avoid any disturbance if we want to follow some tracks that we want to do and most important of all don't get married early if you are not financially ready since this could kill your dream especially since with this status you can't afford to risk anything since obligation will always hunt you.

The two stories that you describe are of the many success stories that have been carried out by people who have managed to increase their wealth list after following their passion. Someone who has passion certainly has high motivation in life, they will pursue their dreams at the expense of strategic positions in large companies.
There are so many benefits that can be obtained from own business, the first profit is obtained by people who pursue their passion to become bosses or leaders in their own business. Apart from that, the benefits of being your own business have indirectly created jobs for other people, they also have a lot of time with their families.

In as much as I will agree with what you said above. I still have some exceptions times some people's passion may not generate money for them. Some passions are not monetizable and that is why before becoming so passionate about something you should also understand if it will generate money or not.

The main aim of being passionate about something is to derive happiness and not to make money. But if you are lucky, that you can make money from your passion, that is a win-win situation for you.

Emotions can never be the reason for people's success because people can never make right decisions through emotions, wrong decisions are often made through emotions. When you apply for a job, you will be tested by your skills, experience and knowledge, where passion is valued. There is no value for emotion in the workplace, you must always think carefully. Because conscientious people make fewer mistakes and emotional people make more mistakes. You have given an example of a person who succeeded because of his passion but thousands of such people failed only because of his passion, so in these cases we should always avoid our passion. Wise people always say that you never make important decisions when you are overly angry or angry because those decisions will never be good for you or your work.

I think you need to be very lucky person if you are becoming rich through your passion. Selling something as business is very hard comparing to working at full time job and receiving a wage. You need to learn a lot about markets etc to make money through your passion. There are many people that lost money following their passion. I even personally know one relative who needed to close down a shop. I wish I could do same but I can't exactly afford to lose so much money.

People are doing the things they love that bring them to a successful life but not as always this happens to people because life is unfair, even though you want to pursue your passion but it brings to the bottom side that does not sustain yourself anymore its too hard to you to push your passion but instead to adjust yourself just to make sure you can survive in the daily basis, people who have the opportunity can take this but not for the people who don't have a choice but to make themselves keep what they have and don't want to risk anymore in life because they don't have at all. but if you have a time to make your worth more you can find an opportunity that let those exchange as more profitable way.

There are types of passion one is like your work you want to work for a company with specific jobs or skills that you want to do. most people prefer working, but they want a job that they enjoy with a big salary, and that they can do on a daily basis. The saddest part is that only a few have this, as they are forced to work in those jobs that they even don't enjoy and the other is businesses they want to build an empire or have passive income. It is really extremely lucky if you've gotten rich because of your passion, and you'll also enjoy it.

When you're passionate about something you’re more likely to be dedicated, committed & willing to put in the necessary effort to excel in that area. This can result in increased opportunities, promotions, higher income, & potentially even entrepreneurial success. By leveraging your passion & skills you can create value & attract financial rewards leading to an increase in your net worth.

In fact, most of the workers really only think about making money, there is no improving their skills in the field of work, the only important thing is to bring home money for the family.

But if they really like to repair things or are good at a type of work, it's better to just do it as a sideline job like cellphone technicians and many other works that earn even more than what they are paid.

In reality, passion for something is not really reserved when it comes to work, most people only have personal needs in mind because they know that there is no need to show efficiency in working, but just work for the salary they receive.

Maybe they can bring out their passion more if they use it by building businesses that are suitable for their previous work, through this there is a chance to increase our income as a worker in our own business not just by being a worker.

Passion is very important to survival in the first place and to survive your have to conquer. There are different stories known to humanity on how the people who took the bull by the horn and led by passion succeeded in the midst of harsh economy and low environmental encouragement. The likes of the owner of Facebook, Zuckerberg is a testimony, Reddit and other social media platforms that have gone global. It is passion that will lead you into sacrificing all you can to get what you want.

This is a kind of blessing that your passion becomes your job or business. There are not many people who enjoy that blessing. I dont love my job but I have to do it forcefully to get pay for daily living. I wish my passion becomes my source of income like I love to write technical articles and if that becomes my source of income then I can perform better in that sector. You cant excel in job or business where your passion is missing. You wont find any example where a businessmen got success by doing it forcefully.

Let's try to first understand what we have passion for, there are things that we are pursuing after that will lead us to no where because we are only been infantuated to them by physical appearance but we lack passion for them, whe we take a look at things we often do alot most times, we could see that there will be a level of increasing passion about them because we do them often, then in so doing, they pave way for us to discover more opportunities in them to use and developed our potentials in them to increase our net worth over time when we are successful in them.

Understanding what is your passion and how this happened is a must. When you're strong on it, then it is time to explore and know more about it. Once you're confident enough it is time to follow it. In such process people may be against you and you may be the unsuccessful, and this is the place where you should have the never give up mentality. Another thing is the overnight success, everything needs its time and we need to be right in it. Our focus should be atleast 3 years time or even more, we should not focus on money making when we're following our passion.

I understand what you're talking about, but I don't understand why you keep doing what you don't like? Is it because you get good pay and find it hard to find another job that pays the same?

I used to work at a job that I hated, but the pay was very good and I had to go to it for several years. In the end, when I finally decided to quit, I went to another job and at first I received less money, but in the end I managed to get a good salary over time, but the most important thing was that I love my job, I like it. I no longer have that feeling of forcing myself to go to work, sometimes I remember those days and it's terrible.

None of us have to do what we don't like, we can change it ourselves, but sometimes fears make us stay in the same place, sometimes we just need to take a risk and our life will change for the better.

That's definitely possible and you should focus on your passion before thinking of making money from it. These people just believed in their passion and grit and the money has followed them. Because if you're going to put money first in what you do, you'll get tired. But these people worked tirelessly and their motivation proved to them that they did the right thing to follow their passion.

If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
All of us have it but there's some force that stops us. Maybe the obligation that we've got in our personal lives but those who takes risk are the ones sees the good and bad results of it instead of those that don't do nothing at all.

On the time that you do really come into a point on which you dont have no choice then you would really be ending up on dealing on something that you dont really like or have the passion.
Well thats life and its really just normal and having the sense to adapt on whatever things that you would really be dealing with and as long as you do able to raise up your family then it would really be your
primary goal or target since you dont have no choice which even myself would definitely be ending up on this way just for the sake of my families needs. Passion would really be just second in priority
but as much as possible then we do really prefer on sticking on something that we do really like on dealing or working with which would really be in line in our interest.

It is really just a matter of hardwork and a mix bit of luck in terms of work selection or the opportunities on which it is really that available. There are really just things which arent meant to be
or for us to succeed out no matter how hard we do try but its not really that a bad idea on making yourself pursuing up your interest and dreams which at the same time you would really be
able to make income or money as well.It is really just there are things which we cant really be able to achieve no matter what we do because we do really have those priorities.

That depends on the belief of an individual dude, because there are people who are happy in a simple life even if they are not rich. And I think you know that too. Although I also believe that passion can help increase our net worth.

That's why not everyone wants that, the only people who often work to increase their net worth are people who want to get rich and have many businesses.

The fact that people do not seek to change something in their lives is laziness, or fear, fear that they will not succeed and at the same time they will lose what they already have, or perhaps their current situation is not so critical for them and the work is not so terrible.

Or maybe someone has been unemployed for a long time and now it’s really scary to change something, the fear of being left without a job again, when you have to support not only yourself but also be responsible for the family, it’s not so easy. But everything needs to be assessed from the situation, if you understand that you can change something for the better, but at the same time remain in the same place, then this is laziness.

Do something consistently and evaluate every time there are obstacles in the implementation process. If after working for a while or years you have not succeeded, then it is not the place for you and need another step as the desire to reach the stage of wealth.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
There are many similar stories of people leaving well-known companies and even living their lives in a comfort zone. But some people have the desire to build their own business and they have big aspirations to grow their business to be more advanced and bigger. Typical people like this will usually be successful after going through a long process and people like this will usually become rich people who are very calculated.

The problem is not everyone is able to reach the final stage and they have great success with the business they are in. There are many things that push and there are many things that need to be passed, that's where consistency is needed for people who are able to be patient, diligent and never give up and if all of that can be passed then there is great hope for the success you want to achieve.

Laziness is that they are too comfortable with their bad points so there is no evaluation of the work they have, moreover they have a mindset that is afraid that trying something new will fail and that is one of the thoughts of laziness that is still in their minds.
The fact that they don't really matter is increasing their work because they still have a lot of work to do, even though they only get a small amount.

I don't know if it's like they don't have the passion to change life for the better? Or is it just because he wants laziness that keeps on thinking about him? This world needs to work hard to support oneself let alone having family responsibilities that must be taken care of, then work is important, if it's still not enough then increase what needs to be done again, get rid of that fear or laziness because there's no point if you keep kicking such passions.

it's essential to strike a balance between passion and practicality. While passion can fuel your drive, combining it with sound financial planning and decision-making is crucial for long-term financial success. So, follow your passion, but also ensure that you make informed and responsible choices to maximize its potential impact on your net worth.

Following the desires that exist within ourselves is not wrong, but it does have to be adjusted to the initial planning which is basically to achieve the success we want in several aspects including the financial aspect as you said. But all of that is not easy because the responsibility to maximize the potential for success in any aspect always requires a very hard struggle even though everyone can have different levels of encouragement in each desire they want to achieve.

In life, there must always be financial planning because it can always be useful to trigger goodness in other things, such as when someone intends to develop a business without sacrificing comfort in his life. Likewise, when someone wants to do more different things in his life, of course, good financial planning must also exist because this can always support the course of these more different things.

Yes you're right. there must be desire and hard work. And failure is a process to achieve success. The point is always enthusiasm, never give up, and keep moving forward even though you often fail.

This is like hitting two birds with one stone, and I would say you must be lucky if you've done both, because in reality you can't unless you've got luck and work hard to achieve it. Like right now, people have a high salary but still don't like the job, or they settle for less but are enjoying their job. Also, right now is not a good time to be choosy, as the unemployment rate is too high and there are still a lot of people who are finding jobs, which is a lot these days.

Financial environment is not more important than emotional value controlling emotions can increase net worth as important as personal finances. If the financial system is functioning emotional control is possible, so the financial value should be looked at in this direction. First make a budget and follow that budget. There are many aspects we need to take care of if we are aiming to be financially independent. A lot of sacrifices have to be made, a lot of expenses have to be controlled. And income should increase savings should increase investment should increase.

in an era like today, making peace with circumstances is very necessary so that it makes our minds and souls calm, everyone has their own problems, such as even though the salary is high but they don't like their job, or even vice versa, therefore, accept what we have gracefully this and of course trying to do things according to what we want, of course that's what we expect, and don't have financial problems, therefore everyone has their own way, but in essence all goals are the same

This is true. You have to accept what you can afford and can't, which in turn is connected to emotions. Moreover, if we let our emotions take control in which we allow impulsiveness and envy get the best of us we are surely going to lose control of your finance.

Well you do sometimes need to give up. That's where self-reflection would come in. Things don't work out for a reason and that's hella fine. Maybe don't give up in life, but give up to those things that aren't working out as it would like you're going to water a dead flower and it's surely just a waste of time to continue being hard working on that kind of passion.

I can recall back in the days of being persistent in day trading, and I thought I was just starting up and still in that what people call "Adjustment Period". Turns out that it isn't really just my cup of tea. I gave up day trading and was happy in full-time hodling ever since. No hates in people doing day or/and stock trading though, everyone has their own capabilities.

Not all our passion can be balanced with income, of course everyone hopes to make money in various ways, unfortunately many people are confused so that when they want to start a business then can't wait and bankrupt. The presence of the internet can certainly be a source of knowledge and what business analysis is appropriate and profitable.

Ignorance may stop oneself in following his/her passion. I have a friend that love to build electrical things when we were young but funny enough he went to art class at his SS level. It was one of those people that was close to him that advice him to pursue what he love doing, he listen and change from art department to science department were he was now able to study electrical engineering. He is now making good cash from his work. His passion has helped him to achieve well in life and this has continuously increase his net worth.

When it comes to following your passion then it would really be that just right that neither you would be pursuing it out or would really be dealing on whats something that you are currently facing since you dont really have

no option but if you do have the chance on making some switch up the career and would be finding up some progress then for sure you would really be having that kind of interest in pursuing on what you do really like,
We know that there are situations or conditions on which it do leave out no choice but to deal up with it and despite on going against with your interest and since there's nothing you can do but if you do have the chance
or having the opportunity then you would surely be switching up without any doubt on doing that.

It does really give out that good feeling on the time that we do reach out our dreams on doing on what we do love or simply with the interest that we do have.
This is really just in case to case basis actually because not all would really be giving  out the chance or opportunity.

Whatever it is you need to be an expert on something to make Hughes money.  When you become an expert on one special things and use that skill you can build your career. And the second thing is your will power.  When you get the confidence to run a restaurant but you are doing a job then surely your job will not give you anything good and at some point you will feel bored with that job. But if you give priority to your desire it will help you achieve something big.  Because you have confidence in that thing

Lucky for him that he got a job with his passion because others don't like me. I am not working on what I graduated with right now, which still means I love my job right now, but if ever I do pursue it, for sure it will be a far bigger salary and I will enjoy it, but again, we need to sacrifice things, which is what we've done. It really makes you earn a bigger salary if you follow your passion and, at the same time, enjoy it.

Nice success story, but I believe it takes time to reach that success and time to arrive at that success requires patience, without patience they will not achieve that. Many succeed when they follow their passion, but I'm pretty sure there are also many who fail because it turns out that their passion is not something that many people need, so the products or services they sell don't sell well and because they need money to make a living, there is a great opportunity for them to finally leave their passion and choose to work for an income.

Not everything is the same for everyone. There are those who found success in their passion and there are those who do not. However, that should not be a deal breaker for people to set aside their passion for something. Sometimes it takes a bit of failure or trial before we find a new thing we'll learn to love and be passionate about that will ultimately lead us to success.

Not always ambition can always be in accordance with income, which occurs often the opposite because it is too ambition, it is difficult to earn income, for example someone who is greedy makes a business and without a good plan and analysis then he will lose because seeing the real situation is not as planned

Well, I believe those who have experienced financial breakthrough in their lives are not just all about passion and hardwork, but luck is also a crucial factor in becoming of what they are today. Without luck’s presence, you will not be in your position right now. Nevertheless, passion is also very important in achieving your life’s goals but you also need to blend it with knowledge and skills, perseverance and consistency, and most of all the willingness to take calculated risks that will eventually bring a lot of positive changes in your life.

Luck is part of it, meaning you'll do hard work and luck will follow, but again, it doesn't mean that it always works because, again, you've got unlucky. Let's say you're very skilled and have a lot of knowledge on business and marketing, but the problem is that it really doesn't work on you; you can't establish a business or it will fail. Ive noticed this also with my friend before; he is a really smart guy in programming and really good, but no matter what, he can't get promoted, and mostly others get promoted.

To move up the career ladder, you need to have many properties, it is not enough just to be smart. Of course, each individual case must be considered individually, but if you are truly successful in something, then your results will sooner or later be noticed. The most important thing is how to demonstrate our desire to grow, because sometimes there are times when modesty becomes our bad ally. It always comes down to the fact that it is not enough to have one quality, you need an integrated approach, then it can affect the result in the best possible way.

Not always ambition can always be in accordance with income, which occurs often the opposite because it is too ambition, it is difficult to earn income, for example someone who is greedy makes a business and without a good plan and analysis then he will lose because seeing the real situation is not as planned
Usually I often listen to ambition that don't always match reality, but you are a little unique in saying that they don't always match income. Greed and not being able to maintain ambition will make a person destroyed because he is controlled by ego and lust. Everyone who wants the desire to increase wealth must have patterns and methods that must be applied, careful planning and strategies for can help to achieve the desired desires. For example, when someone has one business and intends to create another business to supplement their income, but if the planning is not done carefully, it will affect the two businesses that are run simultaneously.

For example, such as control, marketing strategies and problems in service because our time will be divided between the two businesses. Businesses that are run and given responsibility to other people may not necessarily be run properly because maybe they are not responsible when the business they are running experiences setbacks and it is clear that they are only workers, not owners of capital and are not fully responsible.

Luck is a very big thing that can change a person's life.  But luck alone cannot change a man's life, it requires a man's hard work and his strong mind. And of course a person should keep an eye on his profession and become an expert in that profession with a strong mind.  Be it any kind of work or business. Then it is possible for a person to become successful.  And that hard work can make him own a lot of wealth

With passion, I know it will get me far ahead. But let’s not just focus on passion all alone, because any success can never be attainable without knowledge and determination, patience and the consistency to move forward despite of some failures and losses at some point. Passion is just an additional factor, but without it you can never achieve your whole success especially in taking risky decision with your investment.

A man's gift will make a way for him, this is an impression that such a person is in pursuit of things that are of important value to him and to other people, someone who understands the investment in time on and how to maximize his potential to make way for him for survival, when a man knows what he's doing, his steps will always be right and he will make the right decision to himself and his business, through passion, a man can make millions if he really understand the potentials in that, the richest enterprise we have today begin with an idea, which the inventor had passion for and work on it before it turns a success we all talked about today.

With passion, I know it will get me far ahead. But let’s not just focus on passion all alone

Patience will not work alone and only work if one intentions are stronger and habits of hard working. besides these two mentioned by OP there are lot of other people who successfully in achieving goal because of patience. Some people failed to achieve what they want even strong patience and hardwork because there are many other factor like family situations, health problem which not allow to keep continue work  on same idea.

Quote
move forward despite of some failures and losses at some point

I am totally agree with this point and we should not loss our temper and give up if we loss at some point while achieving our goal because these loss are temporary and teach us to not repeat these mistakes and yes this is not possible without passion.

It is not everything that we have passion on that when we do it will work for us. Sometimes those things that we ignore are what will make us successful. For one to be successful he must have passion for whatever that he is doing to make money, even though he doesn't see it as what will lead him to success. I have seen so many people that have passion on a specific area but because it is a no go area to make profit, they tend to switch over to something else. The most important thing that I know about life is that whatever you find yourself doing that puts food on your table, you should do it with passion even though you dont like it,so that you can be successful in it.
