Title: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer?
Post by: Ayebabara on July 16, 2023, 06:22:35 PM
Almost everyone in the forum loves the bull market than the bear market though it has not scientifically proven but people love the bull market more than the bear market, and upon known this, there are some people who are interested in the bear market because they are using the bear to accumulate and store their wallets with enough bitcoins so I decided to know the opinion of the forum users. Among the two which of them do you prefer, is it the bull market or the Bear Market? And why?
Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet. While.some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?

Typically everyone will be happier when the value of the asset they hold increase tremendously and they can pull out 10× profits from their initial investment or more. The bear market is a means to profit from the bull market, a means to an end.
Both are important factors in any market to ensure there is a balance, any asset that has constant growth over very extended periods of time will draw skepticism from investors.

Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet. While.some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong?
I am more of a hodl guy, through the different markets.
If you know what you're doing, you can short Bitcoin when the price rises and drops to get more. If you do not know what you're doing just hold till you reach your desired profits.

Just like how sun and moon are both important for the universe to operate, similarly both Bull market and Bear market are a necessary part of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Bear markets allows new investors to jump in the market and buy their favorite altcoin or Bitcoin at a discounted price.
Bull market shows the potential of the Cryptoverse and great returns those who trusted the market in bear run. They get rewarded for their patience.

It's a complete cycle and I love it. :)

Both the bull market and the bear market are very important because in an investment there must be a time when you have the opportunity to make profit, you just have to take that profit and still have your investment running. Someone who has zeal to hodli his bitcoin will love the bear market more than the bull run because it is an advantage for them to accumulate more bitcoin to their investment portfolio. And those who have invested to sell off during the bull run will always be eager for the bull run to come. But the fact with bitcoin investment is that you need to buy during the bear because that is when people who don't have much on them can use the opportunity to invest in bitcoin. I prefer the bear market more than the bull since I want more bitcoin than making profit.

There's no need for any scientifical explanation why people like to see the bull market. It's because we want to see our portfolios grow. And opposite at the same time for those that haven't accumulated yet. There's really no need to shred it into parts why people prefer this or that.

So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?
Both of them are important that makes the market go round. You just go with the flow and take any opportunity and advantage that it offers.

Every investor or trader will always want to buy goods at a cheap price and sell them at a high price. The bear market is a time to buy at a cheap rate, while the bull run is a  time to sell and make a profit. Both of them are very important to make the market balanced. Each of the sessions serves as an opportunity or threat to different people. Some persons might make a profit when they sell above their buying price, while others loose because thy sell below the cost price because of FUD or other issues. To answer your question I will love to accumulate when the price is low and sell during the bull run, so I prefer both.

The current market conditions are not favorable for a strong entry into a bull market. The chart shows a gradual decline, indicating a potential bear market before a bull market emerges. We have been experiencing a bull market for a few months now, starting when Bitcoin began surging from the $16,000 range. However, the present circumstances suggest a shift towards a bear market. It is likely that we may witness Bitcoin dropping below the $28,000 range before a bullish trend takes shape. Although the chances are slim, I have a hopeful vision of accumulating Bitcoin below $22,000, although I am uncertain if this scenario will become a reality.

As an investor, I'd say that I prefer the bull run better than the bear market. Gives me more opportunities to grow my portfolio, saves me from problems as most cryptocurrencies in the market are going upwards during those periods, and there are an abundance of profit in the industry, you just need to find the right tokens to take up. However, as someone who have built and developed stuff for this industry, I say that if you're building or developing something, it's best to do so during the bear market. There's no pressure to release it right away, leading to your project coming up as best as it can be, lower fees and you pretty much have all the time in the world cause you're in no rush. Plus, you have the opportunity to release your project soon as the bull run arrives, which gives you the prime leverage to pick up funding and all that important stuff.

I say that these two periods in the industry are beneficial to different groups of people, having experienced both, I don't particularly prefer one over the other, but for all its worth it's really nice getting money so I'd choose bull over bear.

The bull market and bear market are seasons in the crypto market, it is normal for these seasons to come and go, Neither is more important than the other and traders do their best to take advantage of both periods of the market. One major difference is the way traders react to the changes in the market, most people are unhappy when the market crashes, and they get excited when there is a bull run because they are making profits. As we know, the bear market is the best time to buy low and hodl to sell high at a later date but still people are not happy when it’s bear market.

Who don't love to see their portfolio is pumping like a rocket?
Some people like bear market but their intention is to see the next bull market.
If you see the scenario between bull and bear market you will see mostly people like to invest more in Bull season and they unfortunately sell by being panicked in the bear market. But the right decision should be entering in Bear season and grab profits in Bull season. In Bear season it's the perfect time to buy but they just feel unsafe and predict a huge crash in the market. That's some of them can't make a right decision.
In short I obviously prefer Bull market to grab profits and Bear market to accumulate more. Between them I would like to choose Bull market because it realize us how much potential Bitcoin is.

Well funny enough I would say every time is important to Bitcoin, the Bear Market, bull run they both play an important role in the crypto-currency ecosystem.

Firstly I would say many people would be looking for the bear market to come in so as to be able to accumulate more Bitcoin, when the price is cheaper people have the opportunity to get more and as all investor would want to get more  profits from their investment they would want the bull run to come next, so they are both very important.

Hmm, What kind of question is this? in OP's Tittle as both had their own importance for the investor as without a Bear market you cant accumulate, and without a Bull market you cant book profits on the accumulation. So both are equally important this Question is like Water Vs Oxygen, Which will you prefer Obviously both have their own importance and role so both are required.

Besides leaving the Basic question yes if I have already done with accumulation I will prefer the Bull market and those who are entering the market will prefer the Bear one because they want to fill up most of the bags cheaply.

I don't like bear market but I do buy whenever the market is on that phase.

Most newbies don't like bear market as well because they're all discouraged to hold by that time because the mindset they've got is that the entire market is about to collapse.

I'm a bullish person so the choice is obvious but I guess this topic is just all for the sake of arguing why someone has to be bullish or bearish and OP has already answered it.

The good traders use both as a chance then blame it.Because bear run is wonderful chance to buy at cheap price, where the bull run is enough to make a good profit in a short time.Only the new people not easy to find the correct time to buy the bitcoin Or sell. The panic selling is the biggest problem of the new traders. When the market is started to reduce some value due to the market crash, the panic people sell their valuable coins at low price. They need to analysis the market well as comparing to old charts.

You are very correct on this thought because the bull and both bear have their specific purposes in an investment but if am not wrong the bear market would be loved by mostly new time investors who have missed out from when bitcoin was very low because the bear is the period where they can have that opportunity once more to accumulate and add to their bitcoin investment portfolio.

Is scientific proof required for this?

It's natural because everyone wants to be successful; hence, if the Bitcoin price rises, Bitcoin investors and even people who invest in altcoins will be pleased because everyone wants to profit from their investment.
As a result, most individuals enjoy both the bear market and the bull run since each has advantages; we buy during the bear market and sell during the bull run.

Some investors have been holding Bitcoin for a long time and will continue to do so regardless of market conditions. Those are the true Bitcoin investors since they believe in Bitcoin and have the feeling that they will never lose their money owing to their trust in the entire Bitcoin process, whilst others are only interested in making a profit for short-term investments.

You’re right it is those that have actually been in the market but without experience that fear bear markets. Most of these people that fear bear markets have either invested with money they can’t afford to lose or have either set a time target to pull out the funds and not necessarily pulling out on a price target. If you look at the d traders or probably the experienced ones they actually love both options mostly the bear market. They can decide to take profits during the bull period and then accumulate more on the bear period. As for those longtime investors like those saving for retirement, they love the market red so that they can accumulate more. It is a mixed thing it actually depends on your own stance

Bull vs Bear market and basic characteristics of the Bitcoin market and at its impact on individuals is depending on the financial position of the individual and as a cryptocurrency investor or market speculator what becomes our position is what asset we are holding at every market position in the sense that.

Those who have all the money in Bitcoin and are holding large Bitcoin Units will always prefer the bull market because the bull market is the market condition that will yield them the desired profits, but those who have their funds in fiat currency and want to buy some Bitcoin will always prefer the market to ve in the bear season before opening their own position.

So for that, we have to apply the market to individuals standing positions at every point in time, so it is hard to make a stand on this topic since both play a significant role in our investment life.

The two are like two faced coin where they always moves together. The both of them are important and each of them play their significant role well when the time warrants. There’s no doubt and no scientific proof is needed to know that people prefer the bull market than the bear market. Those that would prefer the bear market would be those who missed out not accumulating plenty bitcoin for the bull market. That’s why it is important to save no matter how little they are.

Those that are offloading their wallet after the bull market, to me are doing the best thing for themselves if they can’t handle the mental health and trauma that comes with losing all of their money to bear market. It is best for them and not try to take risk they can’t bear in the long run. As the saying goes “invest what you can afford to lose.”

There are cycles that you can actually take advantage of to accumulate bitcoins and get out of your investment positions. The bearish phase experienced by bitcoin is a good time to accumulate, while you can sell it during the bullish phase. Both of these cycles are expected by investors, of course because they will never be on one road forever without stopping and getting out.

A bull market is important for whoever you are to be able to sell your investment and make a profit, but a bear market is expected by those who start to reorganize their investment plans when bitcoin is about to be in its next bullish cycle.

I don't think there can be any comparison with bear market vs  bull market which one will be more important for the market. I think the question is illogical. Because if you claim only bear market is important then it can be said that bear market has no value without bull season. Similarly happen as to bull market. So I think both are equally important to the market.

I know everyone just want bitcoin to be pumping, everyone wants to be making money, they want the market to be green always, but we shouldn’t be expecting the bull run always, their will definitely be bear market, and for me I can’t choose between bull run or bear market to be my favorite, we all know bear market always gives us opportunity to buy coin at a very cheap price, so if you are planning to accumulate coin the best time you can do that is during bear market. After accumulating coin during the bear market, then you will wait for the bull run to sell it at a better price, that’s why both bull run and bear market is important.

Have being holding my bitcoin for few years now and even when the next bull run start am not really having intention to sell it, am planning to hold my bitcoin for my children, so am not planning to sell now, the only reason that can make me sell my bitcoin is in case if their is emergency and I don’t have any other way to source for money.

Why it appears that most people love the Bull market more than the bear market is that, during the bear market it is not yet certain that you will profit from your investment, at some point you even see your portfolio all in red, which nobody wants to see that, whereas in the bull results and profits are realized or almost seen immediately after your investment.

If I should choose right now from my results, the safest time I would prefer is even during a bear market regardless of the pressure that comes with it because the moment that the market turns green you are already in a profit.

Since the goal of investing is to generate a profit, I think any investor will be delighted to see their assets appreciating in value. I am also aware that no investor will be glad to see their assets depreciating, but I am also aware that news investors who are prepared to invest would like to see Bitcoin depreciating to allow them to get more of it, in order increase their profit chances. Personally, I prefer bull markets better than bear ones. Because this is the only thing that will give me peace of mind, I will watch as the value of my Bitcoin investment rises.

Everybody has a profit objective, therefore as a result, we anticipate seeing a range of responses in the cryptocurrency market. Many people sell their Bitcoin because they've hit their profit target, so I assume those who hold for extended periods of time to experience various bull runs and bear markets haven't hit their profit target. Alternatively, some people may simply enjoy using Bitcoin for transactions, in which case they don't mind either a bull run or a bear market and simply store their value for future use.

If you aren't blind sided by hype, euphoria, etc. by the end of the bull run, bear runs can be great. A well-timed short can be extremely. profitable, not to mention the chance to accumulate as you said.

Personally, I prefer when number go up (bull run). I don't like the idea of shorting as it feels like a betrayal to the asset, especially if it's BTC. While accumulating is great, a bull run is needed to make it worth it. Usually the accumulation is a grind, more than an enjoyment.

As far as I am concerned, both markets compliments each other and they need one another to keep the bitcoin vibes going. The bear market is some worth important because that is the right time people get hold of bitcoin. Some hold for long period while some for short period all with plans and intention of selling high when it booms up.

When it is bull market, people tend to sell as to collect profit for their long time holding and possibly, they most have bought when the price were down which is the bear market. Selling at bull shows a sign of satisfaction rewards for buying at bear and holding for  long. It is more like you getting a profit from a business you have so much put efforts as you have invested when the price was low.

In all, without the bear there would not be a bull, A bear comes before a bull which is natural and it occurred that way too for there to be possibly more investors  which would call for more adoption and there would be more bitcoin in distribution.

Seeing my funds grow is a wonderful sensation that cannot be denied. Everyone wants their savings to grow, but they don't always want to go through the hassle of making it happen. The bear market is as crucial as the bull market.

When there is a bear market, you have more time to gather and stock your savings at a lesser price than when there is a bull market, where you get to reap the benefits of your reward (patience) you’ve being experiencing long before the bull run.

Traders love both.  The bear market gives an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at its lowest possible price while the Bull market enables a trader to sell his holdings at a huge profit.  For me, I like both evenly because I can never execute a plan of buying at a low and selling at a higher price then rinse and repeat.  Besides market cycle will never be complete if one of these phases is missing.

Pretty simple — always be prepared for a bull market, and always have cashflow ready for buying when in bear markets or sideway chops. That's as straightforward as it gets. No need to overcomplicate things.

Obviously both but would prefer a bull market, I mean I would love to see the bitcoins I hold be in profit. also, I would assume the majority of the people who HODL would prefer a bull market to a bear market(most likely for the same reason as mine).

as for traders, I am pretty sure they would want both, the constant rise and fall of the price is what they usually look for the gain profits.

It is like asking whether you want your right eye or the left eye. Everyone wants both the eyes for the right vision, so is with the bull/bear market. Whether we're in the bull/bear market we need to be prepared enough to face the worst case market scenario, so that we can be successful unlike the market trend.

Both were important to profit, however it is the common man's thinking to see his holdings grow in value. This means bullish market is expected when they have good volume in cryptocurrencies and bearish is expected when they want to buy more. In reality people out of panic sell when the price drops and buy when price is towards the peak.

When the market is growing steadily, it will attract more new investors and liquidity will be more stable, whereas if the market falls, it will cause speculators to cut their losses. Prices can plummet (no one is happy to lose money)

The market will develop better when there are ups and downs. Eliminate panicking investors or scalping speculators. We should accumulate when the market is down and moving sideways for a long time

I guess others doesn't like bear market because obviously, you will see your portfolio going down (if you still have some bitcoin that you didn't sell during the height of a bull run). Nevertheless, it's a good time to accumulate, so for me both are very important.

And I will advise everyone that it's going to be a good learning experience if you are going to see how the bear/bull market is. You can adjust, make plans and strategized. With that, I will say that both for me is good.

It would depend on what move I want to make,
If I am about to liquidate then of course I would like to have a bull market to maximize my profit.
But if I want to invest then I would like it to be on the Bear market to have a huge discount on my investment.
They are both great in their own terms we just need to accept them and use the opportunity that the market is making or giving us.

If you hold your capital in cash, in stable coins in bear market you will feel good. Because during bear market, you will have better discount price to buy bitcoin. With same capital, you will be able to buy more amount of bitcoin, it's good. Your capital will not go down in bear market if you did not use all capital to buy bitcoin in a bull market and stuck in a bear market.

By dollar cost averaging in a bear market, it will help us to have good chance to see our portfolio growth in a bull run.

Bear market is good to get experience and see how news is used for manipulation in this market.

as a btc investor who already has a lot of btc, of course he will prefer it when btc BUL RUN, but for investors who haven't bought much btc, they usually want a bear market and the reason is because they want to accumulate more btc, personally I prefer btc BUL RUN because the btc price will definitely go up, because I'm ready for the BUL RUN market because I have accumulated a lot of btc.
I think in this case depending on the situation and conditions.

Who doesn't love the bull market? :D Lol
I believe we have different tastes especially traders where I believe it doesn't matter for them if it's either a bull market or a bear market, as long as they make profits.

On the other hand, there are also a lot of cons and pros during the bull market/bear market.
or example in the bear market, during this market, there are a lot of projects that are vanishing or become scam or their true color came out which for me is good during the bear market, legit and quality projects will stay even if the market is bloody.

While on bull market, I believe most of people makes money here but the only downside here is there are lot of even scam projects are still flying, no matter how quality your project is which is some people will be trapped and end up losing money because someone already dumping on them.

In general we tend to like the bull market because we see our investment grow, but when the bear market comes, one way to console ourselves is that during that period we can buy on the cheap. Not everyone, as there are those who do not accumulate any more, they simply have enough in bitcoin, and so they only enjoy the bull market where they can sell and enjoy what they have invested, although they know that the bear market is also inevitable.

Everyone loves the Bitcoin bull market because most of the investors are able to multiply their money during that desire period. In my perspective a large part of investors also like bearish market because some investors try to get more financial gain in long term. Moreover, I personally support bearish at this point because I believe Bitcoin will definitely be bullish in the next few months and until it becomes bullish, increase the Bitcoin portfolio as much as possible. Moreover, those who buy from Dip will benefit the most from Bitcoin investment.

I don't know if anyone else is like me, but I prefer bear markets to bull markets. I mean, both markets are equally important because we cannot make a profit if there is only a bear market without a bull market. But I like the bear market to last a bit longer because I will have more time to accumulate the potential coins of my choice. I don't need a long bull market, just having it run for a month or two is enough for us to take profits. Like now, many people are expecting bitcoin to go up to $35k, $45k, but I hope bitcoin to stay below $25k to accumulate.

in the crypto world of course there is always a bear market and a bull market, and with a bear market and a bull market of course it will provide benefits for those who need it, for example if we have sold btc when the btc price is high then surely after selling btc at high prices usually want a market bear because they want to buy btc again from a low price.
but for people who have bought btc at a low price, they will definitely want a bull market because they have bought btc during a bear market.

in this case I want a bull market, namely so that I can get big profits.

but if there is a price decrease it's also not a problem because I will buy more btc from a low price.

so i really enjoy my investment in btc.

Its not a matter of personal taste here, whether you're a bull or a bear. Strategy is key. Market bulls? Like massive rock concerts, they feature blaring music, flashing lights, and an enthusiastic crowd. Everybody enjoys watching their money increase, right? Every celebration, though, must come to an end. Many people misunderstand it because of that very point. They follow the herd, are impressed by the bull, and then fail to realise that the trend could quickly reverse.

Conversely, during a bad market, investors may experience "mental dissonance." No one enjoys seeing their investment portfolio lose money, but when prices drop, it might be a good time to buy. Only a seasoned investor would realise this. They have adopted a "buy and hold" strategy. You must take on the role of the chessmaster, not a pawn. Which is preferable? Neither. The ability to adjust to changing circumstances and make sound decisions is crucial. Now you're talking, buddy.

I do not know what good in knowing the preference of other people toward Bullish and Bearish Cycle. But here is my answer: which i prefer Bull Market because in Bull market i can make money no doubt i can also make money in Bearish market too by shorting the tokens and coins. But i am more of a religious person and i intend to follow correct path.

Many will criticize me for bringing religion into this but you might convince your mind that it's not a thing but To be Honest it is reality from which we can not turn away.

So, I avoid to perform future trades because they include interest in it and interest is Haram in Islam so i avoid to perform Future Trade. So only knowing option to me left is spot trading and i can only benefit from bull market by doing spot trading or just by holding my assets. So instead of doing spot trading i am doing holding only.

Among the two which of them do you prefer, is it the bull market or the Bear Market? And why?
Both.
I mean there are opportunities in both the bear and the bull market. During the bear market, you have the opportunity to buy different cryptocurrencies at a discounted price. On the other hand, during the bull run, you also have the opportunity to sell your coins at a huge profit. I mean why choose between the 2 of them. It all comes to opportunities because that's what investing is. You grab opportunities in order for the investor to have huge profits.

Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet.
Investing, and waiting for the bull market to happen is the most popular strategy that medium to long term holders are doing. They invest during the bear market, hold that coin for years, then offload it, and sell during the bull run. One of the easiest strategy to do, but definitely not the easiest one to implement because there are investors who are greedy enough to the point where if their target price was reached, they will feel that it might go even higher thus, waiting for price to go even higher, but there are times where the opposite happens causing them to feel disappointed.

some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?
Both are important to me.
Like I said, it all comes to opportunities, and there's always an opportunity in both of them.

Of course, we all wanted the Bullrun because that is where the profit is made that is the time that we sell our holding and probably going to risk more. But for sure both bear and bull markets are both part of the market but we didn't really all have money to invest in the market so the bear market is still important at some point, To be honest, I would like the bear market at this moment because I just don't think that I do hold a big amount of bitcoin at this time, so I wanted to accumulate more bitcoin as soon as possible but the market price is already pumping we even see the market price of Bitcoin reach 31k$ last time, it's a still a bear market but compared to 15k$ dump If I did buy on that price I could potentially make even more profits compared if I buy at this moment around 30k$.

Both Bull and Bear market are part of the cycle, what is important is position your self, on bear market continue to buy more bitcoin and on Bullrun you could sell them for profits.

Both are equally important, and we can't decide how long the bear market will last and how long the bull market will last, so I prefer neither one over the other, for me, both are the same. I just knew that to survive in the marketplace, I needed to adapt to everything, no matter how harsh it was. What I need to do is I will buy and accumulate when the bear season comes, and will try to sell when the bull season comes. I don't care too much about how long the bear market lasts because I know it can't last forever.

This is a very silly question to be honest op. Who wouldn't prefer a bull market over bear market? There are pros to a bear market for sure, but they pale in comparison to the pros associated with a bull market.

Personally, I have earned sizeable profits thanks to bull markets now and then when compared to bear markets.

I love both the bear market and the bull market, they have their opportunities as bull market makes you profits as all bitcoins pump during this period which altcoins also follows and if you has invested in Bitcoin and some lucky tokens that pump with the market, you'll make so much profits. Bull market are for benefiting from the investment you made when the market was bleeding and many individual decided to be selling their Bitcoin instead of holding.

Bear market isn't always friendly to investors as a lot of project lose value but this also give investors that were smart to hold cash during this period an opportunity to buy Bitcoin and an opportunity to dollars cost average as we can buy more quantity of Bitcoin as price falls.

Both bull and bear markets allow to earn, so it depends from the tactics persons uses. I think you prefer bull because you have to do less to get profit. Basically you do nothing and get profit. Your portfolio grow by itself. With bear, you will have to do some manipulations to earn.

I agree that most will prefer bull market, but the reason would be persons mental condition. People love to see green market, instead of red, people love to see increasing numbers.

I actually can't choose. Int he bear market I'm buying as much BTC as I can, it's just a good sale for me. In the bull run, I'm still DCAing, but it feels kinda bad to buy it at higher prices. But seeing your investments going up is nice.

Bear markets are good example of a dry season where you are to keep planting some seeds and a Bull market is like a rainy season where you ut to relax and start seeing your seeds growing, it's not a time to hustle, it's a time to start reaping, it's crazy how some people will start buying Bitcoin at 70,000$ in near future, something they should have done when it was 19,000$, anyway, the lack of knowledge is why this is happening and honestly its good for people like us because someone have to buy from us anyways.

It won't be bad for you and for others as long as the price still has the potential to increase even higher than what you bought in DCA. Because you can see how other people have done very well and wisely to find such a good profit after buying DCA. You don't need to worry about buying Bitcoin because now there are so many references that you can read and learn about investment and trading matters which include Bitcoin along with other cryptocurrencies. So you just need time to understand and practice it into your own life.

Of course, people prefer bull runs to bear markets because, at that time, they can get the most profit by selling their Bitcoin at the highest price. But people should also like a bear market because it is a time for them to buy more Bitcoin than before and hold it for a while.

The people who don't like bear markets usually buy Bitcoin at a high price and the market immediately goes into such a deep downturn that they can't do anything but hold on to the Bitcoin. But some people immediately sell their Bitcoin even though they have lost because they want to buy it cheaply.

I like both the bull market and the bear market because after successfully selling at the highest price, I usually leave the market immediately and wait until the correction or decline is lower than before. Some people have not sold Bitcoin at the highest price and it is because the price that Bitcoin has reached has not reached its target price so these people choose to keep holding Bitcoin. Each person must have their own target so they will do something based on market conditions.

If you understand this crypto market very well, value-wise and cycle wise you will see both the Bull market and Bear market as an opportunity,  everything with crypto and Bitcoin is time wise, keep accumulating throughout the bear market and keep taking profits throughout the Bull market, this is all I can say about this question.

Both sides are beneficial if you know what you are doing, and most importantly everyone just needs to have a lot of patience because Crypto investment takes time to yield, this space is not a invest and get rich quick place, if that's what you seek look into high yield investment platforms, there are many out there or just head to online casinos.

The patience part, years and years of holding, this is what suffocates many along the journey, they at one point get tired, they want quick action, it has happened many times and some failed to learn their lessons and I believe it will happen again.

Both seasons are very important and they have their own significance. The bear season is an investment period for acquiring and storing Bitcoin and sometimes an investor might be get worried, unsettled and have some doubt about his/her investment based on the price movement. Whether the market price of Bitcoin would make a downward movement or shoots up and when it falls, the person panics. All these uncertainty sometimes drives weak hands crazy. But I would say the bull is the best season since it's the period to cash on your investment and you get filled with glee for a good returns.

The bear time of bitcoin means nothing to me, it adds no value than to reduce the purchasing power of my BTC. Not that I don't know how to trade bitcoin on future and spot, I decided to stop trading for months to focus on my job, it can be earning me more when I trade it but not with the little time I have. The only option is to be buying it to hold for many months and years to know what it can offer me.

Mine is personal, but to many too, I say that bulls time will be more helpful. The reason being that when bitcoin is falling, no holder can gain and those who think they can trade futures may lose their money. It is little people who gain from future trading. But the bull time will make everyone smile for holding as alternative to risky future trading.

Bullish market? Bearish market?... Both are good, depending on the perspective from which you look at it. In a bear market you can accumulate your bitcoins until you have a considerable amount and from there prepare for an upward movement, if we are already in the situation of the latter, it would also be excellent news since it is known that the assets stored in the wallets they will be able to increase their value... so for an investor, specifically for those who trade, both circumstances are necessary, since with this they can play with the volatility of the currency and obtain favorable results as time goes by.
If I analyze these rises and falls of bitcoin for an investor who only buys regardless of the scenario in which this asset is only to save it and withdraw it in a while, I think that upward movements would benefit him more, although I do not see this strategy as very accurate anymore that the possibility of avoiding losses is not being evaluated... in short, for me both situations are beneficial.

The bear market is the time for us to accumulate and buy at a high discount, the bull market is the time for us to take profits. So both are the same and have different tasks. I like both the bear market and the bull market because I love the crypto market, I have never been afraid of the bear season like many others, I even get excited every time bitcoin drops in price. I don't know how long the bear market will last but I will keep accumulating bitcoin and some altcoins until the bull market comes, I will sell them.

When people invest in Bitcoin they always expect bull market for their profit. Percentage wise almost most people go for bitcoin bull market which will give them huge profit. But there are people who prefer bear markets to buy and hold bitcoins in their wallets looking for bear markets. I always like bull market because then the market is always moving in a good position which will give me good profit. Many times it is seen that when the price of Bitcoin is in a good position, there is no possibility of risk and no shortage of money. But I also think it's a good idea to invest in Bitcoin when the Bitcoin market is in a bear market. Investing in bitcoins from the bear market and waiting until the bull market will give me a great profit. But most people prefer bull market over bear market and they always research when bull market will happen.

both are good but I prefer bull market rather than bear market. I do altcoin trading too, when bull market happen the percentage of getting profit is bigger because bitcoin price also affect on altcoin price. for me it is hard to trading in bear market, because not much pump happen in altcoin trading. I am a trader so when bull market come I always try to sell at as highest price as possible then buy it back when bear market come again. in the past I was just do holding and the profit still big. both holding and trading is profitable, the difference is just the risk.

Do you think it matters at all? Whatever our preferences could be we do not get to pick the state of the market and at best the only think we can do is to adapt to the current circumstances that we are confronting.

However from the point of view of the profits you can make a bull market is better than a bear market, assuming you are not using leverage, at most you can double your money with a bear market when you go short, however during a bull market if you have a long position you can earn way more than that as technically the upside on the price of bitcoin is unlimited.

So, before continuing, maybe those here already understand, but I'll try to explain as much as I can regarding what the OP asked.
Well, some investors prefer the bull market because there is market excitement offered by the bull market and it is in line with their short-term trading strategy where the bull market is very easy to detect, namely there is an increase in hype in the market and there is speculative behavior that leads to price bubbles and increased volatility in the market.

For Bear markets most of them prioritize long-term holdings and are less concerned with short-term price fluctuations. it's because they believe in the fundamental value of Bitcoin and its future growth potential and will reap the rewards.

So, if you ask which one is good, it depends on your plan, play short term or long term because preference between bull market and bear market in Bitcoin depends on individual investment goals. I think that's pretty clear.

I prefer bear markets, actually. I'm not planning to sell my Bitcoin anytime soon. And buying it at a higher price is not the best feeling when you bought it cheaper before.

both are good but I prefer bull market rather than bear market.

I personally also like the bull market because during the bull market the altcoins and bitcoin prices are high and we can get big profits, and I also happen to like short-term trading I think if a bull market will definitely be more exciting. and actually i also want a fast bull market
come, in order to get a big profit.

Of course, you don't want to buy it when the price seems to be higher. If you've been holding it for a long time, there's that feeling that you don't want to sell it. In my experience, I've held for quite a while but then sold at a price I think was the peak but I was wrong with that. Still, profit for me is still a profit and despite that there have been a better peak price that came out after I sold. That's usually happens when we sell, the price goes higher and then it'll be down again.

But how can you make a big profit if you don't buy it for a low price or don't have too many bitcoins? Like many people are expecting bitcoin to increase in price this year, but what will people get if they don't have too many bitcoins in their wallets? Both markets are necessary and neither is more important than the other, IMO.

If you are a trader, then you can make a profit in any market, only investors really have a hard time making a profit as we are in the bearish season.

Personally, I adopt a more patient approach, consistently HODLing regardless of market conditions. And there is no definitive answer as to which is "best" since it varies based on individual circumstances.

Well said. You have made an interesting analogy between sun and moon and bull and bear markets in Bitcoin ecosystem. Both bear and bull are natural cycles of economy, and from investment  perspective, during bear market the sentiment is weak, hence it provides opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin at discounted price. On the other hand in bull market there is overall excitement in the market with significant influx of funds and prices tend to increase rapidly. it is the right time for long term investors to consider booking gains on their investments and wait for the significant drop in prices to start accumulating Bitcoin again.

That is exactly how I approach the current situation as well, I see the bear season as a time to put all my money into bitcoin when the price is already low, and because it was low when I bought it, when the bull run comes in I end up with a lot of profit eventually. That's going to be something quite important and we should not be really considering that as a bad deal, we are not considering it as something that matters this much.

I have to say that there is going to be some issues if the price doesn't go up when we all expect it to go up, but if it does then it is going to be fine. We are expecting it to start going up after the halving next year, and if that happens then what I have done so far will all be a profitable move.

I can see that everyone's opinion is closely related. According to the nature of bitcoins price volatility, it is obvious that every experienced investors of bitcoins will definitely see the blessing of bear and bull market. Sincerely speaking both bear and bull are blessing only if the investor know the right time to  plant(bear market) and harvest(during the bull run) then plant when the bear market surface again. I do not believe that anyone can actually love one than the other if they actually understand the system. This is just my opinion and should not be taking as financial advice.

`~snip~~

Both the bull market and the bear market are fundamental, and at different times, people tend to show a preference for one or the other. Why do I say "at a certain time"? To explain it simply and concisely...

When a person seeks to increase his investment and has no interest in long-term investments, what he least wants at that moment is for the market to enter a bearish phase, since this could mean losses in his investment. At that point, that person would prefer a bull market. On the other hand, some investors eagerly wait for a bear market to buy at lower prices and then patiently wait for the bull market to improve their investment.

Both markets are important and indispensable at certain times and it is up to you how to know how to take advantage of these moments and see opportunities where others do not.

I love both of the market and its very health if some investment instrument has Bull and bear market cycle.

To be honest it would be scary if some instruments only had bull market and every day keep print new record high. the bear market is needed so we can buy more and sell at the bull market.

Buy at the bear season and sell at the bull market

Not many people will think like you, although many say both markets are important but I believe more than 80-90% of people prefer the bull season to the bearseason. If you follow the discussion in the speculative section, you will see that people are expecting bitcoin to recover and rally this year rather than expecting more drops. I even suspect many people are saying that the bear season is good and they will take time to buy more, I believe they are not expecting a prolonged bear season and are just praying for the market to recover.

I think bull market and bear market are very important to Bitcoiners, but I prefer bear market than bull market because during the bear market it will be easy for me to save my money on Bitcoin investment and hope for a better financial improvement in the future. Those investors that embraced the opportunity last year to purchased a huge amount of Bitcoin when the price was low through out the year, have hope of achieving profits whenever the price of Bitcoin increase higher in the market. Bull market always make some investors to start panicking sometimes, because at the moment they cannot buy Bitcoin because the price is too high which is not advisable for any investors to buy Bitcoin when the price is high.

Most people love bull markets as they are always seen. But the crypto market is not always in the same position, it depends on the ups and downs. If the market is a bull market for a period of time then a bear market starts again. Those who follow the right time to invest in bitcoins follow the bear market. Most investors predict that investing in a bear market and waiting for a bull market can be profitable in the future. I think bear and bull markets are always needed for market investing so I prefer both. To begin with I would invest in a bear market and hold until a bull market is the best way.

Of course, both are equally necessary and important, but I agree with the idea that people prefer bull markets to bear markets, and that's completely normal because bull markets are easier to create in the short term. For me, I never thought about which market I prefer. Whenever I have money, I like the bear market so I can buy it at a low price, but when I buy enough of what I need, I want the market to go up so I can make a profit. But we can't decide when the market goes up or down, so I just stick to it and do what's happening. In a bear market I will focus on buying, in a bull market I will take a profit.

Personally, I prefer bear season, because that's when the market purges junk projects as well as the market matures. I always thought that the rewards would only be for the last stayers, and this is the financial markets. The market is a battlefield, the more people give up, the greater the opportunity for us.

I will say you my preference show me a long-term trader’s perspective. We mainly focus on buying bitcoin rather than selling and making instant profit. When there is a bear market We try to buy as many bitcoins as we can and we only sell the coins when we are in need of emergency funds for us bull market is like a hype up situation. We don’t really get excited to see a bull market. And I believe almost all long-term traders do this. So yes, we want chances to buy bitcoins for as low as possible.

It depends on the purpose, dude. If the purpose is to collect more coins, people will love more bearish season. But if the purpose is to sell the coins, people must love the bullrun season. Both seasons are necessary, they have their own advantages. If we know well about the the cycles of the seasons, we must love both bearish and bullish seasons.

Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet. While.some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear.
I guess most people are investing for the bullrun season. People commonly buy the coins during the bearish season, then they will take profits (sell the coins) in the bullish season. There are a few people only who have the intention to hold the coins for many years. Most of us probably take the advantages of the 4 years cycles.

Is the bull market is more important than the bear market?
Both are important, none is more important.
Without bearish, there will be no bullish season. If there is no huge drop, people are unable to gain significant profits.

Trader: Bull market
Investor: Bull and bear market
Experienced investor who have big cash: Bear market

Since most of contributors to Bitcoin's volume is a trader, obviously you will see more response about bull market instead of bear market because investor will not mind about bear market while investor who have big cash at the moment is quite rare.

The problem is lack of understanding,  a good trader should not be bothered with any side of the market conditions either bull or bear, you can short the market if you are sure we are headed for a new bear market and you will make tons of profits, it's why I believe that daily trading is nonsense, trading base on market sentimental is way better, maybe when there is a powerful news that can affect the market condition that's a great time to trade.

I prefer bear season too because it's the perfect time to silently accumulate some good assets and wait for the bull market, that's why I said before that it's all about your level of understanding the crypto market, I know the advantage of buying in a bear market and selling in a bull market.

For someone that lacks the understanding of the market, they fear for their money in every bear market because the dumps might just be starting up, compare to us that understands, we are always in for the long run, so whatever happens with the market is less of a concern.

If you are a good trader you will find these two as important to your assets. Because due to it's volatility of Bitcoin, of course it's value changes time to time then you would take advantage of that situation. If you are investing for sure you would hodl some Bitcoin in a long term so when bull market comes you would gain profit. When bear market comes you wouldn't panic selling as you know it could recover in a long run. But you will take advantage and would buy more Bitcoin so when it come back to it's value you will literally profit. Still I find this situation depends on the person. If the person are just starting to invest with huge cash of course they would aim for the bear market. And in the process they would already aim for the bull market then bear market again. It's just a cycle no need to be anxious when the market is unpredictable cuz it's volatile.

Title: Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer?

Both are important and one will have no value without the other. Value is determined by supply and demand. But if the market stays the same, no one will be interested in it in case of market importance. If the market keeps on rising at a constant level, people will keep on buying and never sell. The same goes for constant dumping. People will only sell and as it will never go up, no one will ever buy again. So in order to keep the market running and people making profits and losses, we need both situations. I mentioned losses because one's loss is another's profit.

Some see the bear market as a bad thing. Because the price is dumping. But for those who are aware of the opportunities they will get in a bear market, it is a good thing to them. Because as you mentioned in the OP, they can fill their bags with more Bitcoin so that they can make a profit later on. But in order for this to happen, a bull market is necessary. Because you can only make profits when the price will rise again. So they both are connected and if you know your stuff, you can take advantage of both situations. So, I prefer both. One is useless without the other.

Both are actually very important for me, because you cannot expect to reap and make profits when there’s no bullish market, just like you cannot start and make a good entry in the market if the market never becomes bearish in the first place. However, if you’ll ask those beginners, they will certainly chose the bullish market because of their intention to get quick profits without realizing that there are bigger opportunities to start investing when the market is bearish.

Well, for me...I've preferred having them both because I consider the bear season as an accumulation season and then the Bull season as a selling period. In fact, that is why many people got encouraged to invest in crypto because of the volatile nature of the market which having time to buy low and sell high. If we all just wanted a bullish season, I couldn't think about earning a profit.
We have this up and low, that seems it suits us and that is what we are looking for. Well, that was a problem for impatient people.

It's true, there's no one who doesn't like bull markets. I don't believe people who say they prefer bear markets because no one wants their portfolio to go negative. But to be fair, both markets are equally important because without a bear market, we wouldn't have a chance to buy cheap.

A bear market is for buying and a bull market is for taking profits, as long as everyone follows this simple rule there will always be good profits in the market, so both markets are important.

It's easy to say that the bull market is the best but we all know that bitcoin, gold, stocks or whatever can't simply go up, markets don't work like that. I like them both because they give you different opportunities over time. Probably it bothers me more if the market goes up and I didn't buy rather then going down while hodling.

I also can't lie that I don't like bull markets more than bear markets because a rise in our assets is what anyone wants. But if someone thinks the bear market is not important and they don't like it, then they are not a real investor. Because to get profit we need to buy low and sell high, and to be able to buy low, we need bear market. So I also like both markets because each market has its own function, and a healthy financial market is a market where prices go up and down.

Everyone loves bull market because regardless how much you buy it, in the end you're will make profit since the price is always increase.

Bear market is tricky and only some people like about that, especially people who like to create fake news and spreading FUDs. Is there any Bitcoin holder like bear market? I believe no because there's no point as their portfolio are declined.

both are good but I prefer bull market rather than bear market.

You can trade during the bear market as well as the bull market, professional traders trades during both seasons and make good profits because they are good at what they're doing. During the bear market there's also pumps in the market so it isn't always falling down continuously.

As a trader you don't have to learn just how to trade on the spot market, you can give yourself more leverage by learning how to trade futures market because when you know how to trade the future market you won't be restricted to only trading spot during the bear market.

Trading has more risk than holding but holding is more profitable than trading. Bear markets are perfect for holders because they get more chances to accumulate Bitcoin and other altcoins at low price because bear market make all cryptocurency to fall because of fear.

For some like me who prefer to HODL, it doesn't really matter whether it is bear or bull season, we just keep storing BTC. I do intend to become a good trader someday soonest because I have to put the little knowledge I have into practice. I know in summary that I can profit in the bullish season if I sell because that is when there is growth.
Both have their pecks depending on whatever strategy you intend to use to trade.

An avid trader would have been conversant with these market seasons, else there would only be losses recorded.
What many traders or potential traders who want to take advantage of these market seasons do, is to follow signals on telegram, twitter, Instagram or any other website where the primary aim is to give updates and explain the charts and graphs of market movement and trends which lead to bull and bearish seasons.

Personally, I adopt a more patient approach, consistently HODLing regardless of market conditions. And there is no definitive answer as to which is "best" since it varies based on individual circumstances.
That is exactly how it works, one might like the bull market more because that is when the market performs well and every coin goes up in price, but it totally depends on what you want to do if asked in general, because if I haven't bought anything and the market keeps going up, there will be no pleasure for me because I don't have any asset, so in this situation, I would like the bear market more because I have money and I want to buy.

But, if I have bought all my favorite cryptocurrencies already, I would definitely not want the market to dip anymore, and I would want it to get into the bull run and keep going up so that I can get more and more profits on what I've bought, so I would love the bull season in this situation.

There's a third perspective that we could consider - the sideways market. Its where the market neither experiences a significant uptick (bull) nor a major downswing (bear). In such a phase, the market moves horizontally, presenting yet another myriad of opportunities and challenges. In fact, in this stage, investors often consolidate their positions and can also test their strategies.

Additionally, the relevance of a bull or bear market might not matter to certain types of traders, especially day traders, who make profits from small price fluctuations within a day. For them, market direction is irrelevant as long as there's volatility and liquidity.

Anyone in his right sense will like the bull market because of the price increases of Bitcoin and because of the inflow of money that comes to the market, there used to be enough liquidity at that time to selling becomes easy without any effect on the price. Why will anyone even fall for the bear market because they want to have bitcoin at cheap prices except for traders that I know that like the bear market because of the money they make when they short the market and even that one is temperament, they do lose more than they anticipate to achieve in the market during trading i.e the future and margin traders in this case.

I never had the opportunity to buy bitcoin when it was around less than $100 but I'm happy to say that I'm ready for the bull run, my but hot when the price reacts to the news sometimes but its part of the process of been a holder, I love bull run because everyone who literally hold bitcoin will gain and will also get lots of attention from outsiders that indeed bitcoin is still alive and Microstrategy dream of holding will forever live on, more institutional investors will have more believe in bitcoin future again.

I try to avoid the sideway market. It is difficult to predict where the next line will go. For that reason, I always keep some assets as stablecoins in my hand. If I see a bullish pattern, I will buy and wait till it reaches its peak. If not, then they will be added to my HODLings. If I am unable to take a profit from short time trades, I put them in my long time hodling account. I will make profits from it in the long run.

If I see a bear pattern, I will wait till I can predict that this will be the bottom. And then I will buy at that point. Then it's all about waiting for the price pump. So what I will suggest is, to keep some spare money at hand all the time. You can take advantage of any market condition with it. Never put all your money in one trade. Divide it into multiple sections.

Yes most of the people like bull market. But bull and bear market both are very important for cryptocurrency Market. Only bull market Couldn't able to collect new members. So bull and bear both are important for cryptocurrency market. When we see bear market running or bear market coming then i can calculate buying area. If i able to buy then when bull session come i will get big profit. But if market only bull means uptrend then it will be tuff to buy. So i think Bear and bull market all are important for traders and investors.

It is true that when investing never invest with full money but keep some money in hand. If we invest like this when we buy a coin and from there we face losses when the market goes down. So when we save some money instead of investing all the money, we can take advantage when the market goes down further. But if you have to face a loss by investing, then it must be accepted for a long time, then it will be possible to make a profit in the future. If you invest in a bear market and hold that coin for a long period of time then sell it when there is a bull market and you can certainly earn a good profit. So we should never get disappointed by investing but hold patiently for a long time and from there we are sure to be successful.

I find myself oscillating between an occasional fondness for the bear and an absolute 100% jubilation when the bullish trend takes the stage. During bearish times, I embark on a quest to amass my BTC assets, a venture that invariably demands a surplus of FIAT. My most poignant regret unfurls when Bitcoin descends into a bearish run, yet my FIAT reservoir falls short of acquiring this digital gem, rendering me utterly powerless in the face of a monumental opportunity.

Conversely, when the bull run charges forth, I'm wholeheartedly aligned with the prevailing sentiment, for my Bitcoin balance inevitably scales new heights in valuation upon its conversion into other conventional currencies.

The crux of the matter lies in the imperative of possessing an ample FIAT reserve during Bitcoin's bearish phases, a requisite that bestows upon me the capacity to accrue even greater volumes of this digital gold. It is within this nexus that I cultivate an affection for both of these intertwined cycles.

The sideways market is the most annoying and I hate the most if someone asks me. Like what's going on, bitcoin has been sideways for the past 7 weeks and hasn't had any significant volatility that would annoy short-term traders like me. Bear markets or bull markets are both profitable markets if we know how to take advantage of them, but sideways markets are really annoying.

Indeed, as a long-term holder and day trader, I don't see any difference between a bear market and a bull market, I find them to be almost equally important.

It's all about learning when to sell to book profits. The longer you HODL the more you can benefit from your investment. But if you just keep on HODLing, you will not make the best out of your investment. Sometimes by hodling, you are making losses by missing out on opportunities when the market will go downhill. If the market continues to go downwards and you can predict that, sell at the beginning and buy again at the bottom. This will ensure more profits in the long run. I have made this mistake in the past. I kept on Hodling and it continued to go downhill. Never making that mistake.

One more thing that will help a lot is situations like this is DCA. Can't do much of an analysis? Keep doing DCA. That's the best for the long-term investment plans.

Memecoins is good for now but the risk is when the hype is fading since for sure like what you said all will blow up and for sure those who hold to much will be a loser. So we need to do extra careful  especially when bull run is coming or already occured since mostly this is the time where those scam devs will do their graceful exits. I would also consider to add some memecoins but as usual will go accumulate the olds reputable alts especially on bearish condition since we can or hard to accumulate when bullish season starts.

That's true and practical approach. If someone likes the bull market, even if it's a very positive time as the whole market goes up but it is basically useless if you have nothing bought and your portfolio is empty, similarly, when you say you like the bear market, it is basically useless to buy so many assets when they are low and then have no opportunity to sell them for profits. So someone who likes the bear market and vice versa needs to like the other one as well as one is useless without the other.

That is why I like both of them, I love it when I get the opportunity to buy any asset that I want at a very cheap price because that gives me great potential profits, and I love it when I get to sell those assets at a very high price and book the profits that I have waited for so long.

like it or not, and indeed, it must be admitted that both are needed and preferred because they will be adapted to the situation at that time. I agree with you that both of them will certainly be useful for those who hold bitcoin, which can certainly determine when to buy and hold and when to release to be able to benefit.A bull or bear market will be needed for bitcoin investors because they will be able to determine the direction to be taken in managing bitcoin.

This is a very silly question to be honest op. Who wouldn't prefer a bull market over bear market? There are pros to a bear market for sure, but they pale in comparison to the pros associated with a bull market.

Personally, I have earned sizeable profits thanks to bull markets now and then when compared to bear markets.

indeed a lot of people are lucky during the bull market, and you are one of the lucky people because you benefit from your investment in the bull market.

indeed during a bull market we will benefit if we buy bitcoin during a bear market, but for people who buy during a bull market of course they have to be patient because usually the market will have the potential to turn into a bear market and can potentially get losses for people who lack knowledge and experience.

In my opinion, bull markets and bear markets provide advantages for people with broad knowledge and a lot of experience.

To get the best profit we need to buy low and sell high so both markets are very important. But there's no denying that a bull market is something everyone looks forward to, and the truth is that the chances of making a profit in a bull market are much higher than in a bear market. Those who think the two are the same are not being honest because the bull season is always more anticipated. I also like bull season better and the longer it lasts the more money we make.

I think that the most adorable market is the market which gives you some profit. Some traders play bullish and earn, some earn during bear market. So the only thing that matters is the algorithm chosen to get profit out of trading. As for long-term hodling, market fluctuations are not so important in this case...

Bear and bull market should be complementing with each other. There can be no bulls without bears at the start, and vice versa. That’s why I cannot pinpoint any of them to be highly important as these two are definitely playing important role in the market. However, for those who are new in the market or have less knowledge or experience in the crypto market, they will always say bulls are the most crucial but for those who have been here in the market for long, they will always say that both give us opportunities to be profitable in the market.

I think that the most adorable market is the market which gives you some profit. Some traders play bullish and earn, some earn during bear market. So the only thing that matters is the algorithm chosen to get profit out of trading. As for long-term hodling, market fluctuations are not so important in this case...
Both are actually giving us great opportunities to earn, regardless if we are a bearish or bullish market lover. Although each of us has our own personal choice, but it cannot be denied that both are crucial in the market. Fluctuations can never be possible without bulls and bears, so most likely these two are extra important for the crypto market to consistently moving. Sometimes, it takes wide experience in the market to make us realize the value of each of them.

Me either. It hard to make profit so I have stopped for several weeks for observation. My old strategy does not work anymore. This side way make altcoins even more gibberish. I guess I should invest more in MEMECOIN  ;D ;D ;D They look very promising but soon blow away

Lots of people do really love meme coins or dealing with it because of the opportunity that they could really be able to get when it get pumped into multiple folds. This is what makes them too interested with this
because they do really have that kind of optimistic approach when it comes to this kind of opportunity that it could bring and that what makes them or driven to engage with this investment. In the speaking or quesiton about whether bull or bear market then no matter which one we would choose but in overall we should really realize that there are only two paths on which price could move whether up or down.
The only thing that you should really be thinking about is on how you would really be making yourself that able to adjust and making out decisions.

Profitability would be always be the main target or in concern when dealing up with these type of markets.Making out money out of its movements but not all would really be that risks takers for them to be
able to handle out such movement and this is why they would really be rather deciding on holding up their positions for long time.

The point is that you don't have to suffer with either of them and I'm answering from the simple point of view since we are on a panel that discusses the idea of bitcoin and not its trade, although they are essentially highly correlated issues.

In the same way, the intelligent user survives between both scenarios, if it were that easy, being in either of the two scenarios would always be profitable, but it is not.

So simply learn to exist in both or position yourself in one of them, in my case hunting the bear, Although I don't mind letting it go, sometimes.

Bull market is time for selling since it is the time where the market is booming and the Bitcoin price is surging.  It is advisable to buy when the market is surging except when we had timed it at the beginning of it surging trend.  While bear market is the phase for accumulation since the Bitcoin price during this time is getting tanked and dumped.  I think these two trends balance each other and there both trend as as special.  If I have the holdings, I would love to see Bitcoin to be in an uptrend or bull run while when I do not have, I would love it at a cheaper price so that I can buy BTC at a discount meaning buyer prefers BTC in bear market.

At both sides. The bear and bull market is very important to every crypto investor. Because during the bear market, that's when to buy bitcoin at a cheap price and sell back at a high price during the bull run to make profits.
The mindset of the majority of crypto investor is to accumulate bitcoin in the bear market and will keep hodling it until their desired price is reached in the bull run.
It is like a circle to those who understand the crypto market, that there is a time to buy bitcoin at a low price(bear market) and sell back at a high price(bull market). The whole thing is like a market business, where you buy low and sell high. Not everyone wants to keep buying at a high price

Sometimes when the bear has come even if I am prepared for it, I just can't ride it because of my own economical issues.
But it is true that we must be prepared when both of them exists. I like most bull run because just as when people DCA, that's the time when most of us like to sell at any moment because the price is higher. So, there's always the time for both of it for us to do what's necessary. Nothing to hate but just to endure and adopt both of it.

I can't say I prefer one or another. It's like day and night, they can't exist without each other. You need a bear market for accumulating, and a bull market for taking profits. Both are good.
That's how I also see it; both are required in a healthy market. On the one hand, the bear market is an interesting approach to accumulating Bitcoin; the repetitive payments from signature campaigns or from DCAing are now providing you with a larger amount of Bitcoin, which is quite intriguing if you ask me, because the accumulation process is much faster that way. A few months ago, when Bitcoin was valued below $20,000, I was receiving over 0.003 BTC per week, which significantly sped up the process of achieving my accumulation goals.

During a bull market, on the other hand, you're confronted with seeing your money gain value, which is a quite pleasant emotion but slows down the accumulation process. Personally, I'm focusing on acquiring as much as possible until the end of 2023; thus, the current bear market is ideal for myself. The way I see it, the bear market promotes growth for the distant future, and if you're patient enough, it'll pay off tremendously.

As you said, almost everyone in the forum loves bull runs because everyone needs profit in their Bitcoin investments. Even though it will be possible, no Bitcoin investor will like to see a bear market because nobody loves to lose money. Even those people who may prefer a bear market will only do so for a short period of time, after that time, they will also love to see bull runs because they know that is the best time to sell and to be able to make some good profits. So if nobody wants to hold Bitcoin for ever, I am sure everyone will prefer a bull run to a bear market.

Nobody would prefer buying Bitcoin in the bull market because the price of Bitcoin would be very high, every individual wishes they can buy Bitcoin when the prices is low but not every individual can buy because money isn't always available to them at this times the market is low. Only those that planned for the low markets will succeed in buying Bitcoin. Which is why we have to plan during the bear market to buy by always reserving money by not spending them but saving.

If we missed buying during the bear market then we'll be those buying from those who are selling their Bitcoin for profit and we'll be left to hold through another bear market and hope that the price recovers as it always does when the bull market returns in another four years.

I don't know why people are so much excited about the bull market than the bear market, maybe they would have reason along that what they hold will have the opportunity of increasing but the market remain unpredictable because we cannot help in this situation much than we anticipated for, when the market dips, some traders are happy because that's when they make more income while the new investor also buy and hold, which is there ow entry point, it's more of how we understand the market than we see it appears, some were actually making income on both bear ad bull market.

Unless if you do find out yourself on getting FOMO'ed then you would definitely be buying into those peak ones. Come to think that there are really that buyers who had bought on that previous ATH of $69k which even up to now they are really that neither holding up their position or had already cut their losses and sell on the dip (which this is where common things happen). Market is really that composed of bear and bull on which the price could neither be up or down and something that signifies whether you should get in and when you should get out. Speaking about basic principles or cycles
then it would really be just that common in an approach on what are the things that you must do. Buy low,Sell high? Sounds pretty basic and easy to follow but on the time that you are already into this market or stepped your foot then it wont really be that so easy in that case. No doubt that bullish movement or upwards is the main preferred thing because this is what we do all hope or expect about to happen specially if we do able to buy on lower price but we cant really be have a market or cant be called one if it would really be just that a continuous movement on a single direction.

What's surprising when people are excited with the bull run? It's cashing out time, it's selling time so there's nothing to be curious with or surprising about that. Everyone likes to make a profit and that's mostly happening during the bull run. And just as how you probably are thinking people are excited during bear markets, that's how people becomes excited during the bull run and yes, we've got reasons for that and those people that have taken the advantage during the bearish times are about to execute their plans when the bull is in.

when the market dips, some traders are happy because that's when they make more income while the new investor also buy and hold, which is there ow entry point, it's more of how we understand the market than we see it appears, some were actually making income on both bear ad bull market.
Whatever is the situation of the market, you're right that there are investors and traders that do make profit for both seasons. And that's why you shouldn't be surprised when people gets excited about the bull market.

One can't live without the other. I like the bull run more when everything is green, just like anyone else. But I know that it wouldn't be that good if not accumulating as much as you can in a bear market.

Agreed, bear and bull markets are integral parts of the bicoin (and the stock market), allowing to speculate on price differences and accumulate wealth. Or reduce this well-being if luck doesn't favor and an erroneous strategy of behavior in investments is chosen. :)

Without these two market conditions, stock speculation would be impossible. And now, buy in the bear market and sell in the bull market - in each period the choice falls on one or the other and you can't say which is better or worse. These are the same phases in the crypto market as the seasons - the state of the market, which is indispensable.

If you are new to the crypto market, it’s normal that you will chose bull market because there are promising profits  that comes with it. But if you are a long time investor or trader, you will understand that bearish market is more important than bullish market, or see them both as crucial in the market. Because you know exactly that bearish market gives you bigger opportunities to buy and hold your bitcoin and other potential altcoins, and bullish market is the final moment wherein you can reap everything that you have worked hard in the first place.

Why people cant really just that realize that we cant really have a market on having that continuous price rise? It wont really be called a market in the first place if it was really be having that kind of behavior.
If there's pumping time then there's dumping one too and with these movements then this is where we do make out money if you do know on how to play with the price.Newbies or to those people who had recently jumped
into this market will definitely be having that kind of impression but on the time that they had spent out sufficient time or enough moment on this market then its impossible that you wont really be making realizations.

As a trader or investor, whether you do like it or not which its really that inevitable for you to avoid these moving prices which its always been that integral part of this space.
Instead on making yourself that doubtful or having that kind of anxiety about moving prices which it would be better that you should be changing up that kind of treatment which you would rather
be needing to make out adjustments and try to utilize those movements at your advantage.
