They tricked me in a scam that I saw on YouTube to double your bitcoins, and silly me, I sent $35k in BTC, as expected I received nothing, I went very crazy I was about to commit suicide, but my ex boyfriend had a contact who he is a kind of "hacker" and he was able to follow the transaction to the final wallet, and luckily that wallet had carried out several scams and was able to contact other victims and among all of them he was able to collect information, he obtained the name of the person and went to denounce her with all her data, and after weeks I received my money.

That's really what he told me he did, although I don't care much about the only thing I know that he got my money back. Now I think he is dedicated to something like that, I have his contact, but I will never contact him again because I have already learned my lesson. And this is my horrible story.

Well I did never hear about such a way to recover your coins. This is a horrible story for you, but at least there was a happy ending for you.

It is good thing your ex boyfriend was a hacker like that. I am still wondering what made this bad person give you the coins back.

That’s a terrible story. But I’m curious, what did you do with the money after you got it back? Did you buy more bitcoins?

I have managed to invest them safely thanks to a friend who is a financial engineer, I will never trust false gurus again.  :-X

Well, for OP if you really were scammed and was able to recover it then that's so good for you. But let me just look at what happened to you.

It's like telling that you've been scammed, your ex-BF came to rescue you and traced the hacker with the name and all of her stuff/data.

And then asked to send you back the money. Hmmm, sounds a legit story and thieves won't do such acts like that IMO.  ::)

You are TRULY lucky. In my opinion just stay with him he literally helped you get back $35k through what was a genuinely hopeless situation to most people

this is the reason why Up to now for how many years here in crypto? never that I invest  or even engage in people that I never come to meet, yeah sometimes I did a deal in transacting if needed to buy or send funds but only dealing with old timer means those account that has Positive trust most of the time or if not?I uses Escrow to make sure that the transaction will go through .
It's a bad situation.  :(

It's a bad situation.  :(

still a best lesson to learn the hard way.
