Title: The time has finally come...???
Post by: Emmanuelex on July 29, 2023, 08:41:17 AM
Please, read before replying, I don't need comments that are off point lol.

The last bull run had everyone on the tip of their toes, a lot of people strongly believed that Bitcoin's (BTC) price was going to reach, or possibly cross, the $100,000 price range, which never happened. And there were some who had unbelievable expectations like $500,000 and above, lol (we all know that's not happening anytime soon).

Now with the recent events that have taken place, we all can see the bull rising off the dusts, we can almost tell it's about to happen again, maybe by next year or two.  ???

I would love to know you all's predictions for the next bull. I'm thinking anywhere around $100,000? May looking at how far the previous bull runs were able to reach, I think that would be a good price to place it 😊👍, but I'm still open to whatever wild opinions you all may have. ::)

You will always have that here; if you want to avoid it, just make your topic self-moderated so that you can wipe out those comments you believe are off-point.

The next bull run, all I can see is about 50,000 and above; I don't see anything above that anytime soon. The market is struggling real hard this time and will need enough anticipation for it to hit more than this in the coming months. Maybe we should expect like 2 bull runs and above before bitcoin can be able to break a new ATH again. That should be possible after the halving, maybe the year after the halving event, which is 2025.

Before you say a comment is off-topic m, you need to know the appropriate board to make your topic, because this thread fits best at speculation.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0
So that you won't receive comments that you feel that are off-topic but meanwhile, the topic itself is made on the wrong board.
Talking about the next bull run, it seems to me that it is better we remain less speculative in our analysis of the right time and price for Bitcoin to make such a price ATH, but most of us believe that anytime after the next Bitcoin halving, Bitcoin will make a significant price benchmark.
Which will be around March-April next year.

I see a trend with past halvings and past bull runs, the growth multipliers decrease with latest halvings.

If the trend of growth multiplier continues, a new all time high will be.

2021 all time high is about x3.45 from 2018 all time high.

2024 and 2025 all time high will be highest about 3.45 * $69,000 = $238,000.

My prediction is it will be from $70,000 like $100,000 to lower than $200,000

No one knows anything about it, and no one will ever know anything about the future price of BTC. We're not able to see the future, nor the actuality events which are going to happen, and even if the next halving approaches, no one can guarantee 100% that a bull run will happen again in reality.

The name of analysis in giving a conditional speculation can be off the mark. For example I would say the time has not yet come assuming there are still more selling than buying. Others will come with different analysis saying the time will come to see a bull market.
On the other hand, if someone questions your analysis who believes a price of around $100,000 for the next high is not accepted because it differs from their desired analysis.
Discussions will have comments that are off the mark because an idea needs to be debated with complete arguments.

First, this topic is the best fit in the speculation section of the forum, and if you must know, I strongly believe that Bitcoin will surpass $100,000 within the next 1.6 years or so. It's no more news that the coin reached about $70,000 ATH months after the last halving, I expect the next halving to be more significant. And as the last one reached a market capitalization of over $1 trillion with a price of $70,000 when people have not known the coin and be preparing for it this much, I wonder what it would do after the next halving this time that more people would not want to miss out.

I expect a market capitalization of over $2 trillion this time, and by natural/demand calculation, Bitcoin should be at least around $140,000 or more by then (1.6 years).

You were not on this forum at that time. When bitcoin got to $63500 the second time and increased to $69000 which was in November 2021, people have been thinking that the bull market would turn to bear market on this forum. Not long, the bear market started. We were not predicting all-time-high of $100000, only few thought of that.

Now with the recent events that have taken place, we all can see the bull rising off the dusts, we can almost tell it's about to happen again, maybe by next year or two.  ???

We are now predicting all-time-high of over $100000 this time. I predict $170000.

Some people believe everything they hear and read, and there are so many so-called experts who were fascinated by the $100 000 and they repeated it like broken records. The same thing happened at the end of 2017, only the numbers in the game were much smaller.

Now with the recent events that have taken place, we all can see the bull rising off the dusts, we can almost tell it's about to happen again, maybe by next year or two.  ???

Which events are you referring to exactly? The whole story about BTC ETFs obviously didn't stimulate the market too much because most people don't understand the difference between futures and spot ETF anyway, and regardless of the powerful players that are involved this time, there are no guarantees that such an ETF will be approved in the US.

The only thing that is certain is the halving, but in that case it should be taken into account that even the last halving brought rather modest results compared to the halvings before that. It is realistic to expect that the price of the last ATH will at least double, but past results do not guarantee that history will repeat itself.

I don't make predictions myself, but based on the analysis of one guy, that I personally find somewhat trusted, we should be expecting a peak of at least $75k.
But then we have much bolder prediction from Fundstrat (https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/bitcoin-price-outlook-blackrock-etf-filing-demand-180000-crypto-halving-2023-7) saying that we could see BTC in a range of $140k-$180k, but that's based on assumption that the BlaCkRock's BTC spot ETF application will be successful. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how will that pan out.
My personal, uneducated guess is we won't break the $100k in the next cycle. Hope I'm wrong though.

I invite you to think about my scenario here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5453194.msg62485641#msg62485641

That's just crude speculation, the wild idea, the next ATH ignores the potential for sentimental news, as the last bullrun in the past happened in the midst of econimic crises. Nowadays there are more and more bitcoin holdings in many institutions, I think it's an advantage to support significant price pumps on the spot market without needing more absorption of crypto marketcap into bitcoin.

The greatest bull run that bitcoin had was the bull run of 2017, price went from something to everything, the rise was phenomenal. The recent bull run wasn't as great and successful as the 2017's bull run but it was still good because bitcoin's price is very high and we should expect 20 times and 50 times increase again. I'll remain positive and still think that we will see a new all-time high but we won't go from 30K to 1 million, that's for sure. Personally, I think that we will reach 100k-150k-200k range, the maximum we can reach will probably be 300k, the absolute maximum after the next bitcoin halving. For sure, everything depends on the impact and influence that external factors will have on Bitcoin. In 2020, Elon Musk had a big influence, the fact that PayPal supported Bitcoin, had a great influence too, hope something similar will happen, like Amazon or eBay accepting bitcoin payments.

Whenever I hear that name, I remember their most influential prophet who could not predict almost anything (Tom Lee), and after years of failure they have a new expert, but considering the personnel in that company, I do not hope that he will be any better than his predecessors.

My personal, uneducated guess is we won't break the $100k in the next cycle. Hope I'm wrong though.

Don't be such a pessimist, 90% of the forum will hate you ;D

Although such an outcome is also possible, I am of the opinion that the price should exceed $100k and come close to $150k - unless everyone starts selling en masse at $100k.

You know that a prediction is a prediction that is never accurate. Now, it's true that most of those who predicted Bitcoin didn't come true, but how many times did something happen that most people didn't expect, bitcoin reaches a value that was unexpected majproty here in the crypto space?

I mean, what you say is 100k$ each may happen and it doesn't, but I'm still sure that it can happen is the thing that we don't expect that will happen, you get it?

For bull runs we have seen Bitcoins follow a 4 year cycle pattern. And next year is the 4th year. So yes there is high chance that we will see new ATH price for Bitcoins. I don’t want to mention an exact number for the ATH price, as this time when Bitcoins will rise, it will stop at very high due to the high demand among people to acquire it. People have already seen the hype in 2020, so this time they won’t miss the opportunity and will continue buying. So this will lead to more scarcity of Bitcoins in the market, hence the price will go up double speed.

There was a bull run like last month but it seems to have stalled. What is not looking good is that the stock markets are making highs while bitcoin and crypto markets are stalling. Most likely this is due to the Summer and very low liquidity.

I think yesterday the price of bitcoin stalled for like 10 mins and barely 1 BTC traded on Binance. It will be like this for another month at least until Fall starts. Usually TradFI also has low liquidity in the summer months. Best to just go outside and play.

No one can give a specific answer, but the possibility that the price will rise twice as much as ATH is possible. Therefore, if $69,000 represents the peak of the previous session, then $140,000 is possible, and therefore $100,000 is a possible prediction according to historical data, which was different from the previous time, as the price of 100,000 was a very optimistic model.

Keep in mind that the price will be above $70,000, then base your plan on the $70,000 price to be on the safe side.

75k seems kind of low imo, didn't bitcoin already got to 70k back then? And the pattern of halving is that the price triples in value meaning that there's a possibility that bitcoin will again prove those that doubt the potential for a new ATH and those that are too conservative about their estimate peak. I don't want to be cocky with my own speculation but I believe that bitcoin will be crossing the 6-digit territory when the bullrun starts.

For bull runs we have seen Bitcoins follow a 4 year cycle pattern. And next year is the 4th year. So yes there is high chance that we will see new ATH price for Bitcoins. Don't be scared to voice out your opinion, the pattern will happen again, I am sure of that. I myself believe that the exact number would be around 3x the previous ATH. Plus you've mentioned already the circumstance where people are going to make sure that they won't miss out on the opportunity which translates imo to increase in demand for bitcoin and with more demand comes increase in prices.

Recently there have been no worse events in the crypto space or anything that could affect the price of Bitcoin in the market so the possibility of another bull coming into the market is still very reasonable to expect as the revival of the bulls could be based on good things happening in this year so that it can trigger more people not to be afraid to enter the market again next year.

I will be sure for the price of $ 100,000 if the price of Bitcoin at the end of this year is $ 50,000, but if the price of Bitcoin is still not too far from $ 30,000 at the end of this year, I am a little doubtful for $ 100,000 even though that price is a price that is very much expected by all people during the bullrun condition. But for now I will wait and see how much Bitcoin will cost by the end of this year.

I'll continue to say it, all these are just prediction or should I say expectations and when it will happen that it will get to $100k no one would see it coming. At this point in time I see Bitcoin struggling to get to a higher price, to me I don't see it getting to $40k in the next two months as it is. 100K is still very possible, I am optimistic that ATH 100K will be reached for the next bullrun, we never know how high the bitcoin price will break later this will not be specific we can only speculate with wild guesses.

I can believe with 3x the previous ATH (69K) and that is 200K more possible but it can also happen.
We have wild guesses of course to see the price of bitcoin but 100K is the beginning where bitcoin becomes a much talked about peak.

Your prediction is as good as any. You can be right or wrong; there is no sure way to predict the future of cryptocurrencies. $100,000 sounds like a plausible target, considering the heights of previous bull runs. But also, it is possible that we don't even reach the new ATH in the next bull run and that the sell-off occurs even before we reach $69,000. No one can know.

So, although it can be fun and exciting to speculate about the next bull market, these types of discussions are equally useless and irrelevant.

The price of 100,000 has now become a known estimate. It remains to be seen how many times the new ATH will be the last ATH. Even if it doubles, it will exceed the 100,000 predicted by everyone. I think it will not be easy and we still have to wait. I estimate that this waiting period will be 2 years. It may take some time for the price to find itself after the halving. Or the price will move before the halving and new ATH will come. These are just guesses but we all expect 100k first.

We don't have much data to predict the Bitcoin price outside the halving. Bitcoin purchases by corporates could push the price up, but nobody knows when.

I am also positive that Bitcoin will reach a new high on the next bull run but I don't think that the next bull run will be multiplied by the same multiplier as 2021 from 2017 ATH.  If we look at the chart, the multiplier to the next ATH is declining meaning we won't possibly be getting the same multiplier amount you are thinking.  So my prediction is that ATH won't be reaching $200k unless something unprecedented happens like a huge push on adoption and greater hype than any Bitcoin hype that had appeared.

I guess the new ATH will be somewhere between $100k - $160k.

You cant blame out those people who do really have this kind of hopes and wishes when it comes to prices specially on this upcoming bull run.No one really knows on what would be the price and to those

people who are really that optimistic, they are really that believing that it could reach out those heights that had never been able to reach out before and just like into those previous bull runs on which Bitcoin had reached out on price that has no one had ever predicted or anticipate and now that the community does have the awareness about those surprising events then its not really that shocking
that those people would really be that having that kind of optimistic approach on which just let these people would be able to have those kind of impressions because its a free market and
you could always have those kind of assumptions when it comes to numbers.

Set your predictions realistic so you wont get disappointed and of course make sure that you are ready for that price so you wont regret not buying.
The market is unpredictable even if we are too bullish about its trend, we still need to have more patience since anything can happen with BTC.
If you play long term, there's nothing to worry about because we are rising and the target is not just $100k but beyond that, so stay bullish and set your target.

For sure a lot of us are going to have a big expectation this time on Bitcoin I mean just based on the Bitcoin Timeline we could easily predict a high market price. In the next Bullrun, the market price of Bitcoin just continues to increase every Bullrun as well as every Bitcoin halving we could clearly see that the market price of Bitcoin multiple every time, and if we are just basing it on the past timeline it is very clear. The evidence of it was already there, plus compared to the past year bitcoin adaptation has increased significantly, as today even in my country Bitcoin is already used in so many platforms, there are already even banks that use and support Bitcoin, you can now buy and sell Bitcoin on their platform. Just basing on that i could easily assume that compared to the past years the number of bitcoin users increases and if the bitcoin hype trigger again on the Bullrun there are much more investors that could potentially put money on Bitcoin, as well as institutions, governemnt, company etc.

I think $100K will be a very good result for a peak of the next bull run, because it will fit into the current pattern of reducing peak-to-peak relative growth. We went from 1.3K to 20K to 69K, so 100K will be only 50% increase from the previous peak. But the worst outcome if the market will peak even before the previous ATH - that will be a major bearish signal, it would mean that Bitcoin is overpriced and the subsequent bear market will be brutal.

There are a lot of predictions for the price of Bitcoin in the next bull that is expected to be after the halving, most of them are optimistic about the price rise and surpassing the previous ATH, while others are overly optimistic and expect a crazy rise.

For me, the best prediction for the price of Bitcoin in the next bull is the area between 90-120K$, I see this number as reasonable and accepted by a lot of analysts.

But in the end, I cannot confirm precisely because these remain just predictions, and any major change can occur that changes all these predictions.

You need to take into account the market cap. You can’t say that going from $50K to $100K is only 100% gain easy since we went from $3000 to $69000 last cycle. When we are in these mid high 5 figure prices then it means that you need a huge influx of money to support it. Not easy to do especially since retail is going away at the moment and going back to stocks.

You just have to back to 2017 prediction, after we reach almost $20k, there are predictions that we are going to march towards $50k, which didn't happen. And then for sure you have heard about PlanB's S2F model which predicted $100k in 2021, and again, similar pattern emerges, we didn't crack that 6 digit. However, in this cycle, a new all time high could be established around that price that has been predicted in 2021. So I think this time we can do it, just a question on when we are going to unlocked that price. It could be at the end of 2025, at the tail end of a bull run, like the December 2017 and November 2021 peak.

The BTC price had dropped from 30K to 29K USD(which is close to nothing). Why are you acting as if some major Bitcoin price pump is happening right now? The bull run is going to happen in late 2024 or early 2025. The end of 2023 is going to be stagnant for Bitcoin/crypto.

Unfortunately we did get close to this without any established institutional investors and we would have pulled it off had it not been regulation , Elon Musk careless tweets and hacks that happened during this period...

And there were some who had unbelievable expectations like $500,000 and above, lol (we all know that's not happening anytime soon).
This price is still possible as bitcoin has no ceiling to stop its growth ;)

We have ample time to make this happen with institutional investors expected to join this crypto space.

Short term am thinking anything between 45k to 65k is very much possible!

Long term, we might be definitely looking at the $100K mark which get the attention of the big boys to jump in..

The most voted prediction is $100k and I also see that bitcoin can easily hit that target. But I also belong to the group of over-optimists about the next bull run and I believe this will be the biggest bull run ever for the whole market, not just bitcoin. The reason I believe so is because the price increase season will coincide with the new cycle of the world economy, we enter the period of recovery and development after the crisis. Second, the regulation of cryptocurrencies is slowly taking shape and we will soon be regulated in the future. So this will be a big bull run before everything is framed and managed, IMO.

But it's cute asking for this:

As a result, you need to know that speculation means you will receive various kinds of crazy prices that other people want to reach, be it $ 100K, $ 500K, or even $ 1 Million for predictions or speculation. Especially considering the bull run that will occur in the future. So enjoy various Bitcoin speculators and then we will all see for ourselves.  ;D

I expect (or better said, I hope) that we will cross the 100k mark this time. Let's take into account that in 2020 the price of Bitcoin fell below 4k because of the first Covid-19 news, to reach almost 70k in the ATH one year after. So, considering that support has nothing to do with the one we tested back in 2020, chances are that we smash the last resistance.

On the other hand, if we reach that point, we'll see a huge sell wall at 100k that will be very hard to cross. But, in the event we do it, things can get really crazy, as it will be total uncharted territory.

The right time to buy more has come, when some time ago many people dreamed of being able to buy at prices below $30k then the opportunity has come, if we miss it we will regret it and hope today's price can happen again.

There are millions of people following, trading, and using Bitcoin around the globe, and all those people have a prediction of their own, but none of them are really sure what's going to happen. We all want the price of Bitcoin to go as high as possible because we will get more profits that way, but we try to stay within the area that looks and feels realistic, so even though I feel like the price would go above $100k, I would say that it might go around $80k and start dropping from there.

The whole cryptocurrency community is expecting the price to start going up around or after the halving event coming up next year, so most of the people are definitely going to start buying around that time and that will start pushing the market and that is when we will start the bull run initiating.

No one knows anything about it, and no one will ever know anything about the future price of BTC. We're not able to see the future, nor the actuality events which are going to happen, and even if the next halving approaches, no one can guarantee 100% that a bull run will happen again in reality.

Everything is unknown because of volatility if future was predictable then no one will be in fear of lossing money and everyone will rushes towards the success, there will be no one who face defeat.

Everyone says about halving but who knows that what will be the results of halving? there is no surety that because of halving price will go to 100k$ or more and bull season will initiate.

It will be better decisions to hold bitcoin for longer time so whenever the price become appreciable you will take profit from it because there is no surety but a hope is always there for good profit.

We all saw it when the price of Bitcoin reached its peak. But if we want to say how much the next bull market will improve, then of course the price of Bitcoin will be $100k. Many have predicted that the price of Bitcoin will see a great bull market around 2024-25 where Bitcoin will once again reach its all-time high. Bitcoin price is currently in a bear market, but when the time comes, the market will bounce back and continue to move higher. There is no doubt that we will see a massive bull market when the price of Bitcoin reaches $100,000. But it is true that Bitcoin will go to $500,000 but it will take a long time and we will see it as a matter of waiting.

It is quite possible that in the fall we will see the bitcoin price fall to 20000-23000, so it may be worth waiting to buy bitcoin until the fall. And in the spring of 2024, we may already see a global rise in bitcoin. This is an assumption based on the history of previous years

It is definitely coming, I believe a price between 120k and 150k is the most likely scenario, which is why sometimes I wonder what are some people thinking? The price is around 29k at the time I am writing this, if this prediction is true then this means profits around 300% to 400% in a matter of just a few years, not many assets can give those profits and from those not many are as good as bitcoin, this makes bitcoin an incredibly good investment and if someone puts a significant amount of money forward and invest in it they could still definitely change their life for the better by doing so.

If the decline occurs to $ 20k-$ 23k it will be a good buying opportunity, so that you have enough assets to hold when the halving occurs. the increase of achieving a new ATH is everyone's wish.

It takes experience though to have this kind of mindset, unless you really have the experience before as a investors in other commodities and assets. But for sure, majority of us here are first timers here, so we don't have plan A or plan B.

But then again, as we go to this every 4 year cycles and the bear/bull market, we understand how the market works and how we should have like a strategy in the first place. Like if the price decline, then take it as a buying opportunity.

There is no point in listening to random predictions who claim that the price of BTCitcoin would reach half a million dollars, there might be a point in time where it might reach those valuations but you cannot expect that to happen in a short period of time.

It is hard to predict how the market will react even after the next halving, the overall market condition should be favorable as well to see a promising rally, we all know that the recession is looming and it will be affecting many countries and that might have an impact as well.

I have previous experience and am a long term investor for Bitcoin and ethereum. It's been through 2x Halvings that happened while I was in the crypto space. So I'm sure of what I'm holding right now and waiting for the 4th Halving to happen. cycles keep changing and those changes have a good impact and also some have a negative impact, but looking at the history of Bitcoin it is always bullish when halvings occur after halvings. Holding it from now on is a good idea and selling it when a new ATH is reached. There's nothing more enjoyable than holding on long term and enjoying the benefits of that long term.

Usually when people are referring to "holding long-term" they mean holding through multiple cycles and not trying to time the market (sell high - buy low). You've mentioned the you're a long-term holder but also that you intend to sell at he next ath, which is a bit contradictive.
How will you determine when it is a good time to sell? Most people who intend to ride cycles don't have a clue how to determine that, which metrics to use or don't have any buying/selling strategy. And the worst approach is to make emotionally-driven decisions.

Maybe we here have seen and read the directions of predictions and speculations made by some Bitcoin experts for now and in the future, there are various predictions and speculations that make us a little excited and confident about the next Bitcoin price.

But for me personally, of course I don't look down on Bitcoin for the future, $ 100k doesn't dispute $ 200k either, but my assessment is that anything can happen, so we don't realize how high the Bitcoin price will be in the future, bottom line: I'm still doing something before the amazing things will happen in the future.

We all think the next bull run will touch $100k because the previous bull run was already at $60k.
But before the bull run occurs, it seems that we must be able to manage our emotions because the price of bitcoin will still fluctuate as usual.
And with the current state of the crypto market, we have to be more vigilant because the bitcoin price might not move until the end of the year or even early next year, so we have to be patient a little longer.
But I think the bull run could happen after the next halving next year or at least towards the end of the year in 2024.
So instead of thinking about the bull run or when it will happen, it's better for us to try to buy bitcoin at the current price so we are ready for the bull run.

Rich people and foundations will never tell you when they bought bitcoin. They will do everything only because of the profit. This was the case with Elon Musk when he tweeted about bitcoin, but he bought the coins much earlier and cheaper. As for 100k for bitcoin, I think it's realistic after halving. Maybe in 2025.

Most likely they are already doing so, it is just they are not telling the world what they are doing as they are still trying to accumulate as many coins as they can, but you can be sure that once they are comfortable with their bitcoin on their wallets they will begin to tell to anyone that is willing to listen what they are doing, and once the halving takes place those news will get more and more common, and that is when the price will begin to increase as the demand for bitcoin increases while the supply available to the miners gets reduced.

All whale traders, institutional investors buy silently while normal traders who see bad market conditions do panic selling. Money Power is everything, if you have money and power to influence the market like Elon Musk then you too can make a big change in the market.

Investors are buying Bitcoin ahead of the upcoming halving and are strengthening their positions because they know the Bitcoin market will go into an insane uptrend after this halving. So those who can think like big investors and are strengthening their positions, will get the real feel of Bitcoin hitting the $100k target.

This is quite possible and hasn't been expressed by the majority of the users that replied here. Incidents such as the recent events in Africa and Europe and the turn of them against the Western world can severely impact the market, and we're not talking only about cryptocurrencies but also the stock and commodity markets. I'm not claiming that this individual event, which has yet to be put into practice, is enough to turn the market upside down, but my point is that the world has become completely unpredictable, and even a war could possibly break out at any possible time.

Thus, I don't see any reason to attempt to predict what will happen in the future with Bitcoin. The halving is about a year away, and I'm quite positive that it'll assist in Bitcoin's recovery. Will we see a new ATH soon? Possibly not until the next 1 to 2 years, but I'm quite fine with that.

Those who speculate Bitcoin to reach $100,000-$500,000/are all looking for a pump in the price unknowingly to them Bitcoin doesn't work that way since Bitcoin is not the same as all those pumped and dumped coins that we have all around and this is what everyone must be aware of at some point,  it may likely be that bitcoin move close to that range but also we must take into consideration timing which is another important factor that determine Bitcoin price.

If you expect me or some users to predict without analysis - then maybe I or some users will set $1m as new ATH on the next bullish. Is it a mistake? No - of course, but it's not a prediction but I'm was on spear in the dark.

I don't see price going much higher than $250k should the 2024 halving trigger a bullish run and hit a new ATH. Of course I agree that the ATH will be achieved due to the FOMO of new traders and investors after the halving - but it will not reach $500k as easily as one might think. Halvings can affect the interest of traders and investors and with them there will be more demand for bitcoins - this will result in an increase in price, but again, not going much higher than $250k I think. $100k realistic - but I'd be inclined to expect 2x that if bitcoin does repeat its bullish pattern.

Whales understand a very simple concept and yet a very effective one, retail traders and newbies traders believe on buying when the bull run is already underway, some get lucky and the bull run continues after they got their coins but the majority are not this lucky and the bull run ends shortly after they buy, the market collapses and they accumulate huge losses, instead whales understand that the moment to take a position is way before the bull run happens, this way it does not matter when they sell during the bull run, their profits will still be incredibly high by that point.

Yes that time is finally coming, when the price of Bitcoin will cross 100k. Because the next bull market in Bitcoin will make the next ATH in Bitcoin price, leaving it worth around 100k. And there is also a possibility of around 120k. And this time may finally come in 2024-2025.

It is quite possible that in the fall we will see the bitcoin price fall to 20000-23000, so it may be worth waiting to buy bitcoin until the fall. And in the spring of 2024, we may already see a global rise in bitcoin. This is an assumption based on the history of previous years

I would say don’t wait further to buy the coins. It’s not necessary that Bitcoins will go down in the fall. If you greed for more and don’t buy now the coins, then you might miss the best time to buy the coin, which is now. We already know that Bitcoins are way more valuable than the current price, so before it starts increasing in price, accumulate as many Bitcoins as you can irrespective of it’s price and hold it. Definitely in next year you will see thrice of the profits.

If we really trust Bitcoin, no matter what is the price, we still buy them. But at some point - buying low is different from buying high when it comes to profit so why we should wait until the price of Bitcoin will rise if we have the chance to buy at a lower price? That was a question but have to say it's up to our own price discretion and buying strategy because I see that those impatient people or what we called short-term investors will often buy crypto during the bull season so they can sell them and earn a profit after a few days of waiting. Whether if that is a smart decision or not, that was their choice.

If your OP deserves off point comments you are going to get it lol, I trust soldiers on here, you will have no problem if the questions you asking is on point or deserves some respectful answers, if you are a shit poster you are going to get it  ;D ;D.

As for your Bitcoin speculation, 100k Bitcoin is very easier to happen this time around compare to the 2021 Bitcoin price action, ignore that some will still aim for 400k or more per Bitcoin, be ready to take profit one Bitcoin 2x it's price which is 69k x 2 = 140,000$.

You can find the answer by calculating the last ATH every Bull markets in the past, I don't see Bitcoin doing more than this MAX, and this is a safer expectation than what others are feeding Bitcoin investors.

Waiting for the uncertain is more regret after bitcoin took off.
Your advice is quite good because keep reminding not to delay buying bitcoin while the price is still low, I'm not sure $20k will be broken again in the following decline because the price is still quite down compared to the beginning of the year.

I will continue to prepare what I can, bitcoin accumulation is important as long as we are able to do at the current price, at least do the DCA strategy so as not to be heavier waiting for unclear prices.

That is the keyword here, trust, those that understand bitcoin and its technology have trust on it, and as such it does not matter much at what price they are buying it as they know that sooner or later they are bound to make profits with it, however those that do not have that trust care way more about the timing of their investment, but unfortunately for them this means most of the time they miss the low prices at which they can buy bitcoin out of that lack of trust and only buy bitcoin once its price has been going up steadily.

This is exactly what everyone who wants to get tangible profits in an investment in crypto should do. Watching the market price cap and waiting for the price to dip before you buy is definitely the wrong approach to securing lots of coins and in advance good profits in the future. Bitcoin price has shifted a little from last year 16k to 30k $  but still doesn't stops us from buying it now because we are all aware of the price it might reach in the coming years so actually buying now is definitely the right time.

Well, people are buying and keep doing this because we trust and believe that someday the price of Bitcoin went high during Bullrun. I would expect all of us to be in that mindset, buying low and holding until the bull season. Unfortunately, we can't please impatient people to think like that, some are still in doubt and uncertain about the future of Bitcoin a reason why, instead of buying it today they had to wait to see the price of Bitcoin rise first before investing.

The guy you're responding to didn't say to wait for the price to go up before buying (although his choice of words when saying to buy "irrespective of its price" was a bit unfortunate).
The point is, delaying buying by waiting for the absolute bottom can be a bad tactic and can backfire easily. Say if we're expecting BTC to reach $100K during the next bull run, and if there's a 50% chance BTC will drop to $20k before that happens, mathematically it makes more sense to buy now at $30k than risk missing out on the bull run while waiting for the drop that might never happen.
It's almost impossible to time the market perfectly.

I think everyone read the post and after they reply. However, it very difficult to tell about bull session now. Market is now in hanging situation. Near future where bitcoin price will go it is difficult to say. But i think end of this year bitcoin price will increase little bit. And after this year i mean start of 2024 Bull session will start and Bitcoin price will hit at list $50k and in 2025 year Bitcoin price will touch $100k. But we have to wait for $100k need two years. I think first of 2025 Bitcoin price will hit New ATH and within that years Bitcoin price will go $100k. And for it we need minimum two dull session. Previous bull session bitcoin price was $69k which was ATH. I think we have to wait minimum one year for new ATH.

Even though a bull run occurs today bitcoin will not reach up to such amount of value, because they will be a negative information of bitcoin that will make the market to fall, I think in two years ago when bitcoin price reached sixty six thousand (66k) everyone taught that bitcoin price will reach to such value as expected but the price of bitcoin could not cross above sixty nine thousand before it started going down, so we can predict the future price of bitcoin but it will bounce back to value the market take it to, that is the major concerns of bitcoin market, because bitcoin price might go up now but due to information and especially negative information concerning the market go down that can affect the market.

I think Bitcoin will perform very well in the next bull run.  Since the market has been in a bear market for many years, reaching a bull market will definitely double the value of Bitcoin.  But there is no way to say exactly how much Bitcoin will actually increase in price. I have already seen Bitcoin price move slightly from 16k to 30k$ last year, so we can expect Bitcoin to perform well.  The next bull market will definitely be when the price of Bitcoin rises above $50k.We won't have to wait much longer for a bull market.

Assuming that according to past history is not wrong, but will it definitely repeat itself like previous history? Because the market conditions in autumn and spring are always different every year, so it would not be too precise if we had to assume that this year's autumn and spring would be the same as the previous seasons. I'm still more confident in the upside than the fall in this year even though in this year Bitcoin still never got close to $35K in the market.

Usually Bitcoin trends often repeat and in my opinion this can be seen if the price is difficult to pass $ 30k, autumn usually many people need cash so the best thing is to sell Bitcoin, besides the Halving Day effect that will occur in the early 2024 hopefully can give encouragement strong so that prices skyrocketed again.
What if asusm is wrong? I think those who are selling Bitcoin now will feel sorry when they see an increase because they must be hoping that a decrease can occur after selling so they can buy back at the low price before the halving day begins. Because I don't think it would be wrong if everyone doesn't sell their Bitcoin now if they are waiting for an increase in the halving day or the next bullrun in the market, so keeping Bitcoin at this time is still the best option if we believe there will be a global price increase in Bitcoin in Next year.

Doubling the value from the current levels would mean BTC would only get to $60k, which would be a great disappointment. The absolute minimum for a bull run to be considered successful is to go above the previous ATH (~$68k). But if we want to factor in high inflation, it will have to go significantly above that. If it fails to do that, Bitcoin's reputation as a store of value would get tarnished, and the "hodl" would no longer be considered a good strategy.

$100k in May is also a wild prediction TBH. Though some people are speculating that kind of range in the post-halving. But most of them are expecting a bullrun that could at least break the previous ATH. Maybe around $70k - $90k or closer to the 6 digit figure, but then again, nobody really knows how would bitcoin react pre-halving and post-halving, one thing is for sure though, it could bring positive effect in general on cryptocurrency. Majority of top alts in the market would follow suit bitcoin.
Just a piece of advise, if you're aiming to cash out at $100k, you should never put all your hopes next year for bitcoin to achieve that figure, you should allow it at least in the next 5 years. It would be safer that way, just make sure you are financially stable, so you wont have to withdraw some of your accumulated bitcoin in case of any emergency that needs immediate funds.

There's nothing special or wild about the $100k mark. If you think about it, it's not very far away from the previous ATH of $68k and considering high inflation rates since then, it's definitely achievable.
The major thing preventing crossing the $100k barrier would probably be the psychological factor. People like round numbers and many will consider $100k as a target for the next bull run, but they also know that loads of other investors will have the same target, so they'll set their sell orders below the $100k mark. So we might see a massive sell out at around $90k that could derail the bull run.

So now we can say that the bitcoin price is about midway between the past top and the past bottom. If we take into account that the price can't break the resistance around 32k for a long time and consolidate above, it is very difficult to guess what will happen in the near future. The key factor of course is the next halving, so it's probably better to buy bitcoin in parts and hold for a year or two.

Making a reliable prediction about the future price of bitcoin is no easy task. Bitcoin price predictions vary widely, with some predicting it will reach highs while others believe it will stay close to current levels or even decline slightly. An important point here is that bitcoin does not make its all time highs every time because then bitcoin goes into a bear market or a cold market. Then years later the market cooled down and when the halving came around the bitcoin market started to go up and down but hopefully something will happen by 2024.

A prediction can be made by anyone based on research conducted and experiences that have occurred in the past, but who can make predictions with 100% accuracy, it is clear that this does not exist until now. You can just make your own version of predictions, as well as me. I never care about predictions that anyone makes, almost all predictions that are made always have the same goal but only the numbers are different. I am not too guided by predictions, my belief is that the movement of Bitcoin will reach better numbers than what is being traded at this time, I will collect little by little to get a share when the ship is anchored.

Everyone has the right to speculate about anything and at any price, which is certainly just speculation without clarity, it's true that we can see several indicators to convince ourselves of the accuracy of speculation, but remember nothing is certain about the price of Bitcoin.
What events happened recently? doesn't the price of Bitcoin throughout this year tend to be stable at prices that are always close to 30k.
stop dreaming that you will see a bull in the near future.

And it will be forever impossible to make accurate predictions that are 100% correct, the markets are composed of millions of people, each one with their own thoughts about where the price should be, the current price is nothing more but the agreement that has been reached about what the value of something could be, however if the circumstances change abruptly then the perceived value of something can change tremendously as well, and while it is interesting to think about the future price of bitcoin, at the same time it is not necessary in order to make profits with it.

I believe it won't even reach around $90k before that happens because people will soon start expecting the market to crash and they will start selling as soon as they see a small correction in the price. Retail investors are way too sensitive to let an opportunity like that go to waste, so they will obviously start selling as soon as they see a drop and see that they are getting good profits hence they wouldn't risk losing more of that profit to the market if it crashes.

If there are no stops and drops at all, which I don't think would be the case, it might manage to go over $90k, and might even hit $100k but the chances of the market crashing before that are higher than it hitting six digits, however, it is all predictions and speculations and we might be wrong about it all.

The predictions for Bitcoin price will never end. Because while the market somehow finds its direction, people watching it will continue to talk about where the price will go. We are talking too. What we are sure of is that we agree that the price of Bitcoin will rise.

In the long run, Bitcoin price has always increased. I think the next ATH will be a very high price. Because Bitcoin attracts more investors after each ATH period. This allows us to reach a higher price.

Could be true but it all depends on the mood of the masses at that time. Right now, when the Bitcoin is quite low (compared to its ath) we may have realistic expectations, or even be a bit pessimistic, but when Bitcoin starts doing +10% in a day, the appetite for profit and expectations will increase.
Another thing to consider, when spot ETFs get approved, impact of retail investors could shrink in favour of the institutional ones.

Today the market dump is again more than 8%, on some exchanges the price of bitcoin is selling at $ 25800, I checked on coinmarketcap it is still $ 26080, and the coinbase that I use is priced at $ 25975, will this storm continue because there are currently too many FUDs making many people panic and sell bitcoin, hopefully the whales are buying again so it helps the price not fall below $20k.

Unless, if you believe these FUDs. However, it was not only the FUDs that creates a price correction, it really happens when the support is low causing its demand to drop and so does the price. The economic status of some countries had also given an impact on the current situation.

We can't assure if it will continue to drop but if I were you, I'd rather prepare myself for that and anticipate it. But for me, I have nothing to worry about because I just hold and wait for the next bull season. Before this year ended, we still experiencing sideways movement in the market.

Why would whales buy back when they can get more benefits if the price falls more? Whales want investors to panic and sell so that they can buy as low as possible, so they would let retail investors buy and sell with each other and make the market drop and then they will buy all the coins when it reaches the bottom, that is how they play, or they can even start buying at this price until it drops further because they tend to not let such opportunities go wasted.

The price did drop quite quickly but the drop isn't so big right now, retail investors will definitely make the dip go lower from here if they start panic selling on a large scale. I expected a price drop but I don't want it to go too deep like around $20k or something.

The dump that we are witnessing is not a big deal, yes the price went down but this does not change at all the strength of bitcoin or its long term potential, so instead of being worried about it people should look at this dump as an opportunity to buy bitcoin for a cheap price and as the opportunity to make some easy short term profits as well, after all if you can buy at 26k then it will be incredibly easy to make some short term profits once the price goes back to its previous baseline.

This dip seems to be just a normal market movement and is not even specific to Bitcoin, i.e. there wasn't any particular crypto-related event that triggered the drop. Other assets and major indices also noted losses. It's probably all due to the market expecting interest rates to remain high (or even go up) in the foreseeable future.
Some other cryptos like XRP, LTC, BCH or DOGE got hit much harder than BTC though, proving the theory that outside of the "alt season" it's better to hold just BTC.

Based on past experience, Bitcoin's criteria are to always repeat what it has done. So I am just as sure as you that bitcoin will do very well in the next period. Bearish and bullish are things that usually happen and will continue to happen like that, so there is no need to worry too much; there will be times.Regarding the increase that will occur in Bitcoin, it will always be the same as what has been done, and it will always be several times the last ATH that was made and will never accelerate, but it is certain that the time will occur in 2025.

Before I joined bitcointalk I never expected bitcoin price to reach hundreds thousands in the years of 2023 but when I looked at the market I was comfortable that before bitcoin price will reach hundreds thousands at least more two years will be added in 2023, so for my reasoning, I'm saying that price of bitcoin reaching hundreds thousands, it's encouraging and good for investors but what I'm considering is that it will not be this year because the market is still not balanced because of the way it move, and expecting bitcoin to increase, its something that will happen between 2024 and 2025

Most of the studies we have seen suggest that the Bitcoin market will touch $100,000 when a new bull market begins. As we can see right now how the bitcoin market has not pumped as much as we expected, it has gone double opposite. However, we can expect to see Bitcoin (BTC) price at this level when the Bitcoin halving is possible. But it's actually ridiculous that Bitcoin hit $500,000 right away, it needs a long time and a long roadmap. But before this bull starts there will surely be bitcoin halving and then BTC will enter $100,000 moreover we can make a prediction for sure. Earlier when the Bitcoin bull market was seen, the price of BTC touched around $69k, according to which we can definitely predict $100,000 dollars in this bull market by Bitcoin.

Yup, $100k is just 45% above the the previous ATH, so that's pretty modest target for the next bull run. The previous one was much below the expectations of most experts/crypto influencers, so now everyone humbled down and the mass expectations got more realistic.
The next rally will be less halving-driven than the previous ones, and positive news will play a more important role than before. To have a chance of serious bull-run, we'll need approval of the spot ETFs, but that's more likely to happen than not.

Estimates are the same that $100K is the most modest price for the next ATH while people who have far exceeded that price will be far from the expectations even if the influencers predict higher, with humility should remain even if there are skeptics with predictions in the next $100K ATH.

Can that rally be more than 3x what it was before? I think it's still very possible but looking at some charts analytically it's not possible just in my own guess.
It is quite clear that another positive news will play a role towards higher bitcoin price, now many expect spot ETF to be approved soon which will trigger bigger things according to some speculators.

What makes it different before and after you join bitcointalk? Do you view the price progress differently after you join this forum?  ???

To reach $100k in 2023 is clearly impossible, we almost reached the end of this year. Even if Bitcoin really can reach $100k, surely it should be in 2024-2025. I'm sure investors never expect that price this year, they must predict it for the next 1-2 years. We all know that 2023 is still in the bearish season, bullrun season probably happens after BTC halving in 2024. Commonly, the maximum price of BTC (ATH) will happen in the few months or 1 year after the BTC halving.

Comparing on what happened in the past and correlating it into possible future events then most likely we would be hitting on that 100k market. Come to think that we've been only hoping wayback on breaking that
$20k price which it did on that 2021 bull run where it do able to hit up $69k and now that we are already fast approaching on another halving event on which it was the known trigger on having that bull run just like those previous cycles and now people are speculating non stop about potential price which there are even who do tell about $1M and even $5M.

Well, just as you have said, considering the fact that the previous bull run started when the price of Bitcoin was around $7000 , and was able to reach the all time high or $69,000, so let's assume the coming bull run will start at $25,000 or let's be more conservative and say $20,000, then, it is very possible that the price of Bitcoin will reach $100,000 and even surpass it.

This is also considering the fact that the coming bull run might be the biggest we've ever seen , and are going to see in the history and future of Bitcoin and the entire crypto currency space, if all the current developments that are on pending come to positive fruition, then it is very imminent or sure , that the next all time high of Bitcoin price will be well above a hundred thousand dollars .

I do not actually know the basics for measuring how high the bitcoin price goes during a bull run or when it is set to make a new ATH. But common sense should tell that, how high it will go will depend on the starting point of the bull run. I think I have to mention Franky1 here if he will be notified. He is someone I believe his analysis.

This is also considering the fact that the coming bull run might be the biggest we've ever seen , and are going to see in the history and future of Bitcoin and the entire crypto currency space

You have made a very heavy statement here. What made you believe the coming bull run will be the biggest in the history and future of bitcoin? Any data to support this?

assuming the bull market starts at a price close to 25k, that means we will really arrive at that speculated price of 100k+ during the next bull market, and it may even surpass that price if the bull run happens immediately after the Bitcoin halving which is anticipated to take place around March/April or earlier depending on the block size progress.
That being said, we ought to also look at the brighter side of things and try to speculate a price that will be more affordable such as predicting a $150k bitcoin price in the next bull market.

Whether how big or small the bull run will be can only be determined once it comes and goes, we can't really know if it's going to be the biggest one or not because it is not going to be the end of it and it is not like a finale episode or a last stage of a game where we get to see the boss and then boom, it's all over. No matter how high the market and Bitcoin go in the bull run, remember that there can always be another cycle where the growth percentage might go higher than this.

So, you can say that this could be the biggest bull run that we have seen so far, but you can't say that it is going to be the biggest one that we will ever see as that would be a wrong statement since we haven't seen the future and the future can behold things beyond our thoughts and expectations.

$500k seems like an impossible price for bitcoin to reach for this bull market but $100k looks possible because it isn't far from the previous all time high of $69 but I think bitcoin getting to only $100k is poor and I'm expecting another $50k to which will make the price go to $150k for the new all time high and that's my prediction. Bitcoin has always made a bigger all time high than the previous bull  market and I'm thinking the next bull market won't be different.

When we predict the next all time year it won't make any sense if we haven't bought some Bitcoin to our private wallet so we can benefit from the price increase. All individuals in this thread making the prediction of the next price should invest in bitcoin so they can profit.

Its much more than $150K, probably more than $250k if the bull run starts this year end. The bull market may really blow up before even halving as what others had been expecting and there are several indicators that also signal it. Also there are promotions already started just a week ago like the Singapore Token2049 where leading crypto companies are having conferences.

The crypto bull market so they say will be led by Asian countries this 2024. I think its about to start as the global market is in decline and crypto is rising.

I don't think anyone knows the future price predictions of BTC, but I am also a BTC investor who definitely has predictions and always speculates that BTC has the potential to reach $80k or $100k. but in my opinion the rise and fall of BTC depends on the state of the world economy. If the world economy progresses, I think BTC has the potential to go to $100k during a bull market .

It could go the opposite way though. In recent times, Bitcoin has largely decoupled from stocks and other traditional markets, so there's a chance it will (finally) start acting as a hedge against recession and/or against inflation. So, at some point, we could see an inverse correlation: stocks goes down --> BTC goes up. Unlikely, maybe - but it's a possibility.

Currently, no one can know when is the right time to buy it because most people can only make predictions but cannot be sure whether the prediction will actually come true or not. It would be better for us to collect it and we must have a strategy in collecting it in order to make a profit each person has a different way of collecting it, but they all certainly hope for the profits they get from investing.

If you mean Bitcoin, I don't think it will be easy to collect it without having some money. Because in current market conditions it is actually still very appropriate to make purchases even though someone can only do it in stages or by using DCA. Collecting as much as you can also takes time and it is still not certain that you will get more because currently it is very difficult to collect Bitcoin if it is not accompanied by money. So you don't need to worry about the many predictions from other people because you yourself must also have the confidence to buy in conditions like now without having to worry about whether it is right or wrong.

I would love to know you all's predictions for the next bull. I'm thinking anywhere around $100,000? May looking at how far the previous bull runs were able to reach, I think that would be a good price to place it 😊👍, but I'm still open to whatever wild opinions you all may have. ::)

Bull run won't just come instantly and give us $69k or $100k but the price will gradually rise first. We can tell if it's possible depending on how high the price can go. Last All-Time-High was $69k and people thinks it's not very far from $100k, so they just assume it is possible.

But before we achieve it, we will need to break $69k first and maybe stay on these prices for some time. Each bull run is always higher than the previous bull runs, but it doesn't stop there as long as the price is still appropriate to the supply of Bitcoin, and we also need to look the status of the adoption if there are still countries or people who are not yet into it.

Indeed, collecting bitcoins is not easy, especially if you don't have a large amount of money, but by buying them regularly every week or month, it is the best solution for accumulating bitcoins, even though the amount is not too much, it is a smart action when your financial situation is not so good for investing. .
The time to make a purchase is when you have to make a purchase, I once heard this from someone but I forgot, but it is a logical thing, whatever price you buy it at is a good decision.

$100k is the common target from most people's perspective on the forum for bitcoin prices, but for me who bought bitcoin at $20k-$29k, back to ATH in 2021, my profit is already quite large if calculated from the percentage.

Predictions are speculation for everyone, don't pay too much attention to them because they are not useful if you think about them continuously, what is certain is that Bitcoin will definitely experience an increase again. ;)

Yes, as far as experienced, the initial impact will not be felt, it might take weeks and months before we can see the price increasing a bit after the block halving that could signal the bull run.

As far as achieving $69k, if we are indeed in the bull run already, then we should be just slicing that price. Just like in the last bull run, imaging at March 2020 the price is $3k because of the pandemic. But by March 2021, the price is already $50k++.

The halving had increased the expectation on the price. With bitcoin more we expect more will be the disappointment. It is always good to go with market and for sure the price will reach peak value that one have never expected. This had happened earlier, during the 2016 halving. By that time price was expected to reach around $5000 and it reached $8000 and surprisingly $20k. This is something completely unexpected and none predicted the price to reach high by that time. From that point the expectation had gone high and things got fulfilled in the 2020 halving and now once again big expectation. Lets see how far the price will move over those days. As of now the market is getting stabilized and gaining good resistance for a bigger push.

Of course it is true, one needs a budget to carry out accumulation and this strategy is only for those who have a good source of income regardless of how they earn it. The inflation that is still hitting various countries always makes it difficult for people to save some of their money to invest, but I don't think they have to endure hunger just to invest.

There is no need to force anyone if they only have a budget that is just enough to meet their needs, meaning you can invest when you have the budget regardless of the price of Bitcoin itself.

$100k is the possible price that many crypto-enthusiasts are looking forward to(not guaranteed), based on the history of the bull run season, each upcoming bull run to be higher than the previous bull run. The last bull run season had bitcoin at $69k, so the next bull run should have bitcoin at a new ATH in 2025. Therefore, I am predicting that bitcoin price should give rise to $100k - $120

Next bull peak comes in 2025

we grind to 40k by next ½ ing maybe 50k

then in 2025 the peak hits at 222,222.22

How is that a logical thing? And I can't understand why so many people here repeat weird statements like "any price is a good price" etc.
No, buying in at >$60k was clearly not a good decision, even if the price eventually goes back up. But so far it's 2 years later and we're not even halfway there.
It wasn't clear back then, but we can certainly say in retrospect, that was a horrible trading move.

I don't think anyone knows the future price predictions of BTC, but I am also a BTC investor who definitely has predictions and always speculates that BTC has the potential to reach $80k or $100k. but in my opinion the rise and fall of BTC depends on the state of the world economy. If the world economy progresses, I think BTC has the potential to go to $100k during a bull market .
relevant opinion, it is certain that any potential will definitely be related, as well as that the movement of bitcoin will always be in contact with the world economic situation, which will result in purchasing power going up or down. but it also cannot be ignored from the habits that occur with the behavior that always exists in bitcoin, and usually bitcoin will always repeat the same situation in a certain period. All predictions can be wrong or right, and that will be seen from the situation that will occur at that time, which will certainly have an influence. Everyone hopes that bitcoin will increase in time, and everyone is waiting for that moment to happen at the right time.

Very simple maths. With this approach everyone can buy now at 26k and in two years get easy money. But only for unknown reasons not many people get a good profit. By the way, there is no guarantee that the next cycle will be the same as the previous ones.

There's no certainty in any market and the crypto-market is the riskiest one. Since you cannot guarantee that the next cycle will happen at all, people prefer to sit on their hands until there's a clear indication that we're pumping. Not the worst strategy imo.

And I bet most of those who scream "now is the best time to buy" are not really spending any serious money themselves. If they were, we wouldn't be crabbing around 26k.

Yes, you have a good point. Bitcoin investment is not a do or die extracurricular activity, so people that are not in the right position to invest should not force themselves to invest just because they want to make profits, or they just want to answer the name INVESTOR.
If a person doesn't have a budget for investment, the person should not keep himself hungry just because he needs money to invest in BTC. In some countries, based on their economic circumstances, some people find it difficult to meet their needs, or they can't keep another budget that they can use to invest.

If you consider the fact that it has grown perfectly over the last 10 years. If you have the ability to wait a few years, then I'm sure you'll make a profit.

I'm not making predictions here, but I have confidence Bitcoin will reach an all-time high that you thought was impossible. There's no exact amount, maybe $100,000 or maybe $500,000 more, who knows. I'm just trying the best for myself in the future by preparing a little provisions to welcome the bull, my confidence in Bitcoin will continue to grow because the price will continue to grow in the future. The market is struggling to reach the price investors want, if you are thinking about $100,000 in the future, don't miss your flight.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the subject of a lot of speculative discussion. especially with the impending halving of bitcoin or the bull run season. Many others also believe that Bitcoin will eventually cost $100,000 per unit, albeit this is currently just a theory. But if we pay carefully, it appears that the manipulators of whales will carry this out.

And it appears that many community investors will not permit themselves to have no holdings when the day of the bull run arrives because they want their lives to be changed by their Bitcoin or cryptocurrency holdings, and I am one of them. So let's hope for the best for the time being.

The next bitcoin bull run price can not be speculated at this point unless the bull run started already because the most speculated price of $100,000 can still be Bitcoin currection price and at that we have to look beyond every possible speculative price and anticipate for a price that is imaginable to a achieve,  such as possible $150k or $200k Bitcoin price during the bull market.

This are price that can raise the real dust,  even though some other speculators can go out of the box to predict a possible price of $500k which could sound out of this world with the current bitcoin liquidities.

One can easily be profitable in one to two years but if you wait sometimes more for at least four or five years then the chances will be more to get benefit of green market. The things cannot be easily understand in a single year so you have to give time to your holding.

This time is a perfect timing for buying of bitcoin as if you miss this chance you will hardly find next chance because Bull run is coming in which you cannot get the reward if you have no holding coin. Waiting for just two or three years are not a long duration and you can achieve it perfectly because when you wait according to the market then market will give you profit according to your hopes.

What do you mean by perfect growth? As of now, Bitcoin is trading ~60% below its ATH. There was a period of around 1.5 years (from Jan 2021 to mid-2022) when Bitcoin was more expensive than it is now. Whoever bought during that period is still at a loss.
Bitcoin is not some magical, easy-profit instrument. You're trading against others - to sell, someone else has to buy. It's simply impossible for everyone to make a profit even if cycles continue (which is not guaranteed, as you yourself said).

I think it is still too hard to profit from bitcoin because its not even very volatile (This month October is bit better tho). I feel like we are still too far away from "time" that bitcoin will start its huge bull run to minimum 80k levels. That is level I am guessing we will %100 hit. But I am also thinking we may peak around 100k as well but it would be surprise. Anyways short term wise traders were making in later months. I honestly lost some money even trying to get better position as bitcoin was dumped further than I expected.

According to the candlestick analysis, $100k is the calculated target, but I remain realistic with a high degree of certainty that a price range between $70k and $80k is more probable. Hence, it could potentially soar even higher, possibly exceeding the $100k level.

My objective is to secure some profits when the price reaches $70k while also aiming for greater gains when the price has the potential to ascend further. Hopefully, the bull run during the next halving event will stay aligned with our collective predictions.

I would say that it would happen next year, not this year. And maybe not even next year but the year after that because next year is just the halving year and not the full thing. When you think about it like that, it becomes evident that we will have to collect and wait some more. There isn't anything wrong with that, we could keep on doing that whenever we want to and I think it should be quite good to have something like that when you think about it.

I agree that it is going to be something that will take some time, and we are not going to end up with anything that will hurt our finances. Just accumulate, hodl, and wait for it to reach to 100k because I believe that no matter when it happens, it will definitely happen without a doubt. That should be the most important part of it.

Everyone in the world is predicting the BTC price in the next bull run, but I tell you that no one can predict the market price with absolute certainty. There are predictions that BTC might touch $500,000 in the next bull run (extremely optimistic). Some are saying that price might be somewhere around $150k to $200k. I am of the opinion that that price might not cross $100,000 in this bull cycle (2024/2025), and we have to wait for another few years to see such highs.

True and this is just my opinion. to be sure of reaching the price in question, for example up to 100K or more, it's better to be realistic about the nearest one, for example 70K in 2024, for the increase again of course we'll just look at the progress of the development again and later it will be easy to read because we're not the only fans Crypto alone monitors it, bankers also diligently follow the ups and downs and developments of virtual currencies, especially BTC.. ;D ;D.

Depends on what kind of profit you are looking for. If you just want to make any profit (in reasonable time), than Bitcoin is still a good bet. Looking at the past cycles, it's not like the price was completely flat and than shot up all of a sudden. There were build-up periods when price was on a modest uptrend before shooting up. So if we are to repeat the cycle, we can expect BTC's price to slowly move up (which is kind of already happening).

I agree that $75k-$80k is a reasonable expectation for a minimum peak price, but as for the $100k, we'll either stop before that (if the psychological impact of a nice, round number turns out to be strong) or we'll cross that level with ease up to $120k level or above.

$70K is also a pretty fantastic price in Bitcoin if it can reach next year, because previously the price of Bitcoin which was named the new ATH also occurred below that price so the price range you give as an example here will also fall into the new ATH category although not much different from previous ATH ranges in Bitcoin. Yes, that is quite realistic for Bitcoin, but everyone should be able to see a sharper increase before next year in Bitcoin so that the numbers you mentioned can be more easily achieved by Bitcoin next year.

That was like the near peak of 2021 bull run and we'll pass that again soon when we enter the next bull run. I'm expecting to be more in the next bull run but no idea if it will quick that shall happen by next year.

It's really realistic knowing that we've been near that a couple of years ago. And about the price increase of Bitcoin post-halving, I'm expecting it to take time.

Might be next year but more of 2025.

A lot of things can change per cycle and it's all guessing game as per its price and what shall happen next year.

Yes, that is quite realistic for Bitcoin, but everyone should be able to see a sharper increase before next year in Bitcoin so that the numbers you mentioned can be more easily achieved by Bitcoin next year.

The moment can be at any time, what I am saying is that things can be much more feasible if by 2024 in the end the price reaches a new ATH, the price was $70k, but it can actually reach more, the ATH It's just a look, I am so positive that I see that this same year I was able to reach 40k and from there start close to 70 thousand dollars, it is something that can happen and that can be taken as a basis for 2024, for me 2024 will be The year that bitocin will have a new ATH and it will be very high, I was thinking of more than 100 thousand dollars, it is not because it is a large number, but because after the halving this can happen.

People are constantly predicting an ATH of $100k, but to me, that price is also quite low for bitcoin in the next bull season. I am confident about the growth of bitcoin in the upcoming bull season, I believe it can reach 180k-200k$ and that is quite normal. But regarding the prediction of 40k USD before the end of the year, I am quite pessimistic because when looking at the market situation as well as the general situation of the world economy, I think there will be more correction than a recovery to 40k$.

Now with the recent events that have taken place, we all can see the bull rising off the dusts, we can almost tell it's about to happen again, maybe by next year or two.  ???
Halving means Market increase , that is what i have seen by my own eyes over the years.

I would love to know you all's predictions for the next bull. I'm thinking anywhere around $100,000? May looking at how far the previous bull runs were able to reach, I think that would be a good price to place it 😊👍, but I'm still open to whatever wild opinions you all may have. ::)
what you are thinking is what also the majority of the bitcointalk members do , so yes 100k is truly coming .

There is never a wrong time to buy Bitcoin because the price will sure go higher and higher as time goes on. Now is even good to buy because the price seems low for a pre halving month.

You must be mistaken in the fact you want to state. The last bull run that happened, I don't think that there were speculators, speculating about the price of bitcoin to hit $100k or above at that time. Many people were in doubt that bitcoin wouldn't go higher price as of then. In 2020/2021, bitcoin was fluctuating around 15k - $30k before it skyrocketed to $69k after months of the halving season(2021). It is this forthcoming bull run that a lot of people began to predict that the next bull run might hit the Bitcoin price to be $100k and above by 2024 or 2025. This is possible since the last bull run had Bitcoin price to be $69k in 2021

How big of a role did Bitcoin's price value play before bulls during the most recent bull run? It was about 18k, but as it began to take off in the January of 2021, it increased to 29k$. Then, Bitcoin's ATH rose to 69k$ and nearly closed at 70k$.

Therefore, based on my study, I continue to believe that Bitcoin's ATH at this time might be between $80k and $100k; however, this may rely on the good news that comes out at the time the crypto market experiences its genuine bull run. Let's watch to see what transpires.

Yes, there will be a great bull run that will make the price of Bitcoin to increase higher but it will not reach $200,000 and you can use the current price in the market to determine the future of the next bull run. I believe the price will hit $100,000 next year ending for those that invested in Bitcoin and other potential coins to begin to earn something good from their investment that will make them to invest in that particular coins when the price is down again in the market. Based on the long bearish investors are experiencing from the market show that the next bullish will run like two years to allow both long term holders and short term holders to benefit massively from their investment.

Everyone knows that bitcoin is unpredictable, just like no one thought that bitcoin could go from $1 to $69k, so don't make any statements about bitcoin. I'm optimistic about the next bull run, maybe btc won't reach $500k but $200k is possible. The $100k goal is a nice number so everyone talks about it but this is too easy a goal for bitcoin to achieve.

On what basis do you say the bull season will last 2 years? Even bitcoin's ATH we can't predict, don't make other meaningless predictions, there has never been a bull market in the past 2 years.

I don't see anything bad from landing at the Moon when you aimed the sun, $68,000 is somehow close to hundred thousand USD, if we also look back to where we are coming from to have achieved this $68,000 all time high, we can see alot of difference made that led to the rise of the market price, we cannot be always right about how we presumed bitcoin price to fall or rise, everyone is trying their own best to make sure we all have thesame encounter with the market rise in our favour.

Even though I might appear a bit conservative with not setting overly ambitious targets, a rise to $70k is not a bad outcome. Besides, many individuals are already contemplating the four-year cycle, known as the halving. Large institutions, of course, can't remain indifferent to this. It strikes me as odd when everyone seems to be able to predict the timing of bullish runs, as this can be heavily influenced by market demand, which might, in fact, decline during a rally.

My aim is modest, but I'm not pessimistic about Bitcoin. A range between $70k and $80k appears the most realistic to me, preventing greed from clouding my judgment. If the pattern of a new ATH continually coincides with the halving, I wouldn't mind if my prediction proves wrong, and Bitcoin soars even higher. That wouldn't be a bad outcome for me.

I'll be honest that I'm not sure about $500k being the new ATH of the next bull run, but $100k is more likely to be expected. The price of bitcoin could surpass $100k if the demand and FOMO are really big, but it has to be supported by something big too. Poor economic conditions as well as inflation could likely have a positive impact on increasing bitcoin demand, but I don't expect that $500k to become a reality in the next 2 years.

The halving and spot bitcoin ETF approval could drive bitcoin prices higher, but my current target is no more than $150k as the next high as a new ATH. The target may or may not be right, so it is not a condition that must be achieved.

Did you apply any methodology and calculations or is it only a guess?
I've seen a YouTube expert (so take it for what it's worth) explaining that we should see a minimum of around $75k, but that's not including any effect of the spot ETFs approval.
Those ETFs could play a big role and make this cycle look very different than the previous one. But the effect doesn't necessarily be positive. If they get rejected (which is a possibility) there could be a pretty big sell-off.

Yes, Bitcoin will reach $500k if its demand continues to grow but that will not happen during the next bull season or in the near future. Each person will have their own goals, and no one is right or wrong until everything happens, so let's be steadfast with our own goals.

But I don't think like you that inflation will benefit bitcoin. Like what we are going through, inflation, panic are attacking us and bitcoin is also being affected negatively instead of positively as you said. I expect the world economy to recover soon as well, which could fuel a strong bull season for us.

You have a lot of expectations for the next year, and I feel you might need to face a lot of disappointment. The reason why I say that is the price of Bitcoin is within the range of $26k and $28k right now and there is only about a month and a half remaining for this year to end, after that, we will enter 2024, and you are expecting Bitcoin to go from $27k to $100k in just a matter of 12 months when the halving event itself will be after 4 months from the beginning of the year.

So, we shouldn't really expect what might not happen, and absolutely shouldn't plan our things according to our expectations because the results might disappoint us. I don't say it's impossible, but the conditions and the unfolding of the events in the future don't indicate anything like that to be happening this soon.

Everyone may think that things with bitcoin can give good results, that it can go up, well now it can go up to $500k and much more, but I think that the most likely thing is that it can reach $100 thousand usd, and well that It is something that technically can happen, but it is not what normally has to happen, because let's remember a few years ago where everyone predicted that Bitcoin was going to reach a new level and that December instead of going up what it did was go down, there is There are many strategies that whales apply worldwide, and they worked because at that time they took advantage of buying bitcoin very cheap, after the halving the bitcoin went up.

The bitcoin 500k price target is not practical. Technical and fundamental analysis shows us the maximum we can expect from bitcoin is 3X its last all time high which is around 200k. Some experts think this is also achiavble and bitcoin can make its ATH around 150k this time. If we consider a price between these two then 170k to 180k can be the expected price target for bitcoin in the next rally. It seems low compared to the previous ROI but look at the marketcap it will get at that price level.
