Buying an account from a trusted member (examplens) might be helpful though (examplens) can change the ownership later which will not happen. But from low-rank people negatively trusted people will change their ownership so that will not be helpful. And buying Karma cant be a wise decision as those may come from bots and those will not help you to engage the content of you.

How come everyone is cool with this user buying Reddit upvotes when it's clearly considered manipulation and a direct violation of Reddit rules (https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement).

I'm assuming if the same user where to buy merits or accounts in this forum, you guys will be the first to bombard him with red feedback (As you should). But I guess you're just fine with it if the same practise happens outside of Bitcointalk ? and even offer to help ?

Isn't it the same thing on all networks?
It is possible to buy likes on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter... On this forum, several bounty campaigns are opened every day, promising rewards for likes and reposts on social networks.
I offered my Reddit account here, opened for my needs, I am not an account farmer just I haven't used it for a long time. Honestly, I'm not sure of the importance of upvoting on that network, given that each post is only current for a few hours. Very quickly it becomes irrelevant and is replaced by new ones. It really has to be comprehensive in order to achieve a significant reach.
I don't think that a significant impact is achieved with the purchased upvotes.

About tagging on the forum profile, unfortunately, this is the only way to protect ourselves from dishonest traders, sellers or any kind of potentially risky exchange value.

Enough karma to post isnt alot I thought, just make one now.  I have 20k karma but Im not sure it matters most of the time.   Reddit is in transition to more commercial operations apparently it might change alot from here.

When anyone buys this type of service in any social media promotion that is not a legit way and in this way, thy cant get any good result except becoming banned by the site administrator. The fake followers/loked comment can't help any promoting to the promoters.

I have seen bitcointalk accounts for sale on other sites as well (It would be stupid to create such request here for obvious reasons so ofc they gonna use other platforms to sell).

I agree. I also have a high Karma account there and i made very few money with it.
Actually,  most of the money I made was from an altcoin campaign posted in this forum which paid for posts in reddit. Long ago.. it was ok, like 20 usd per week, about 5 years ago.

It does work, that's why people are buying these kind of services.

You are right in one part and that is people are buying. If people buy then they can just see the number, not the real followers/like/upvotes or something like that. As they are not real and cant react that's why they cant be helpful for anything either that is personal or professional. Also, at a time those fake count will goes down too.
