Although current crypto market situation is very disappointing. Investors also showing less interested investing in new coins even most of new coins are also shitcoins. Altcoins crypto market pumped a little, a month ago but still no impressive movement is found. Wel  During this situation, what are you thinking and how you preparing for next bull run?  Which Altcoins you are planning to be hold untill next bull run?

My plan is to hold the layer 1 and layer 2 tokens for the next bull run. Also, try to get some profits from during that time. Because we don't know the exact ATH.

Layer 1 =>  Sui, Sei
Layer 2 => OP, ARB

I completely agree with the author regarding the current market situation. It's hard not to feel disappointed seeing the market struggling to recover from an extended bearish period. I've also noticed a decline in the interest of new investors. Hopefully, we can witness growth in the near future

I don't entirely agree with the author's viewpoint on new coins. While there are many 'shitcoins,' there are also numerous intriguing and potential projects. Sometimes, careful research and identifying reliable projects can yield good investment opportunities

There will be plenty of choices, but I won't say which project I choose to invest in. I only suggest that you believe in your choices, have confidence in your knowledge, and allocate your capital wisely to invest in various projects.

Actually the bull market is a crazy type that revives only because of big investor hype and it doesn't last very long. However, many investors here will be holding meme coin for the bull market as it gets rich during short times. But one of the best reasons why big and smart investors will buy the best coins according to their target is risk free because bull market is not guaranteed and it can actually take a long time. So they will always buy the best top coins to keep their money risk free.

Of course investors who are more careful will choose the safest project to make their money in and look for additional income from their investment, even though it is relatively small it is better and does not require as much risk as investing in meme coins, I personally manage my portfolio, and the most dominant is bitcoin and the second is altcoin which has strong fundamentals like etherrum, but I also have an investment in meme coin with the smallest amount in my portfolio, I think this is more like a gamble, because I hope the hype on memecoin that I hold today, even though it will be ashes later, I don't care because I use the money that is ready to lose it in memecoin investment.
why did i do it? because I see lots of whales that make meme coins as an alternative to their gambling on meme coins. :P

For me ethereum, bitcoin, avalanche, injective, cosmos, arbitrum, optimism and upcoming zksync, layerzero and linea. I think these will give some of the best result though some of them have made some good move last bull run. Surely with pack development and news about each of any they will definitely go again another smooth run or yet surpass their previous records.

SHIB. 17% growth this week. That shouldn't be bad to have bought it last month. And investors are waiting for the Shibarium while exchanges are adding the $BONE. I guess this will be a great investment still despite how much it made the investor bleed since the last bull run.

It disappoints the haters thinking it will actually die eventually but still kicking to this day. Unless you think another meme will come out, then you can still ignore SHIB. A few months ago, this token ranked 17th but it climbed up to 14th.

No need to be pressured and not that much preparation, just hold and don't panic that's the preparation that I am doing.

I only have few altcoins that I am holding right now.

I'm still thinking if I'll gamble with those coins that have been hype lately.

There are lot of it, I'm into Base chain right now and holding some altcoins out there and I'm sure with Coinbase as one of the leaders in this industry, I think they have few percentage to fail and will likely this will be the chain that will make most millionaires in the bull run. My main holding was still on Bitcoin though, next is ETH, LINK, ERN, MAV, PENDLE and many to mention.

I guess right now im just accumulating ethereum instead of the other coin for the simple fact that smart contract platform future still boundless.
I just think that in the future when new trend arrives it will still hugely related with the fact that its gonna be all about smart contract.
but certainly there's some other reason that i decided not bagging some of the alts despite the fact that they are excels at short term investment.
that is because i'm also waiting for the new emerging coins like layerzero and the likes to comes out and get share of it which i'm sure gonna be massive.

I won't be so much into altcoin against the coming bull market because before I allocate a percentage of my investments into the already established altcoins like Ehtereum,  BNB, and a few others.

But I won't be risking my money on meme coins since their meant for short term speculations,  and ain't be visible when the bull market hit..,  but more also we have to be on the lookout for other possible potential projects that will have long term view.

I will stick with the coins that have survived the last bear market and retouched their ATH in the bull run. My choice will be; ETH, BNB, BCH, DOGE, LTC, SHIB, and a few low-price coins (taking a risk with a small amount). 

In my portfolio I have ETH, BNB, LTC, IOST, casino token and meme coins (not expecting on it though) as my preparation in the coming bullrun. But i'm still for an additional coins to add, and I want a new coins that can be a hidden gem.

Anyway, i'm not really certain if these coins are going to give me profit but some of these coins are already established and worth to hold. I allocate majority of my funds to Bitcoin so even alts won't soar high I still have BTC to count on.

I only have MATIC and XLM for now which is my bet to do good in the next bull run and hoping it will have a new All time high so that it could be all worth it to hold for a long period of time. I have only few tokens that I have in my portfolio but only few of percentage unlike to MATC and XLM that will be equivalent to 60-80% of my crypto holdings.

Can't say which altcoins will remain there till the next bull phase as they don't have guarantee as most of the altcoins are not serving any utility so what will be the purpose of holding them for long? The next bull run is when can't say as we haven't deen seen it now from long time so for altcoins be very careful in choosing as funds are at stake with them.

It's difficult to decide. I kept on selling when I see an opportunity with low end altcoins because there is really no knowledge of when the bull run will come. Perhaps it will be tomorrow or maybe in the halving of Bitcoin which for me is still a long time.
But I am solid to keep my Ethereum and BNB. I don't think those two should be sold even after the bull run because that's when FOMO will come and some investors will still be risking for a purchase and expect some short-term returns.
XRP seems to be a good choice too. I mean, a lot of good things had happened to them and one bull run could change it all to bring them back on top.

Investing in new projects is no longer profitable it is better to avoid new projects even if you expect a 100x return in a bearish market it is still difficult to see a successful project in the market when listing or it may not even last long.

When the bullrun comes all altcoins will increase because the market growth continues to soar, but to see the percentage of the increase is still unclear, I think it is enough to invest in altcoins that are solid in the sense that they are at the top of the marketcap then it has the potential to rise more sharply when the rally comes.

I don't think the market is really disappointing because this is really how it looks like, we've scam projects, shitcoins, and legit projects. They've been mixed up and if we are too careless, definitely we fall into scam projects as their numbers are more huge than profitable ones. So, let us make a habit to do deep research and stop following social media influencers because there are only a few altcoins that can be trusted and worth investing whether it was for the long-term or the short-term. But for me, I have to choose ETH and BNB and hold them until the next bull season.

Investors are still trying to invest in bitcoins and altcoins, but they don't say much about the coins because it's their secret.
But I believe that investors have started saving important coins, which are expected to increase greatly, including buying large quantities of bitcoins.
And the altcoin market can still move up and down and provide opportunities for traders to benefit.
But it's still difficult to get big profits in one trade, so they have to keep finding the right coins that can provide opportunities to get big profits later.
We won't know which coins you upgrade later but I'm still holding all my altcoins and still enjoying and patiently waiting for the altcoin season and bitcoin bull run to come.

Right now, the bitcoin market is boring. Many folks in new and cryptocurrencies have encountered this disappointment. I love Solana and Arbitrum, but they may not solve the market's gloom.

Preparing for the bull run is thrilling. Not knowing the course when disappointed is like preparing for a race. Altcoins rose somewhat a month ago. The movement had no purpose. Solana, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Cardano, and something else may interest me in the future.

Since the market can go either way, care and watchfulness are essential. Its important to treat cryptocurrency seriously, but it shouldnt be a burden.

ETH and BNB for me without a doubt. Those two are the apples of my eye and I will always hold them no matter what happens to them. In fact, I can go as far as saying that I will keep holding them even if they crash, because I trust that they will do better and I am willing to lay my money down to prove that as well.

But to be realistic, they are not going to crash, they are going to be fine and the result will not be that big of a deal, we just need to make sure that it does nice enough compared to the market and nothing will get any worse. Life is not easy when you are doing something like this and put all your money into just three coins, but if you know what you are doing, then you are going to end up just fine with it.

Yes i think now market situation is not too good. Who are invested on Altcoin in high price they are huge losser. So it is best to hold. I think future bull session Altcoin price will pump. Then lose will be reduce and profit will be possible. And now in down market is best time to buy Altcoin. I also want to buy some altcoin and want to hold till bull session. My favourite Altcoin is Doge, pbr, BNB, Matic etc. I want to Buy Some PBR and Doge Now and want to hold it for long time.

I also put my trust in these coins. They are well established and has a firm foundation so I see no reason to doubt it. It has built a good reputation for a long time and the trust that they gained from their investors isn't questionable. They were able to deal with every market condition and I must say that they're strong enough to conquer even the worst market situation.
Ethereum and BNB are worth holding especially in a long term basis. I'm sure that they could still reach a better price when the bull season approaches.

Are these tokens providing any use case or just tokens with promises. Majority of the layer1 and layer 2 token projects are just hype, so not sure how those will thrive but then some tokens might pump during the bull run and hence i need to check some of them to invest. The usual top alts in the market that are certain to rally every bull run are the coins that are in mind for me.

Uncertainties usually come into our mind about new projects but as I've seen in the previous bull season, new projects and even these shitcoins had given us a big surprise for their skyrocketing price. Imagine, it increases more than those known and potential coins that we have. Meaning, anything can possibly happen during Bullrun, and as seen, many investors are buying new projects as they thought that what happened in the past will happen again.
Well, of course, it was best and certainly has assurance from holding top altcoins than these new projects.

How am I preparing for the upcoming bull run? Simple. Just continue to accumulate Bitcoin, and some altcoins as well. Buying during the bear market is the best time to buy, but after that, it can still be a good time though the profit is lower already, but overall, it's better to buy during bear market, and after. That's what I'm doing for the past 1 1/2 years in preparation for the bull run. What is my thinking? I think that the bull run will happen next year, or probably in 2025, and I'm preparing for it already.

What altcoins am I holding for the upcoming bull run? Ethereum, Cardano, and ATOM. These are the top 3 altcoins that I'm holding right now. Currently they are all being staked, but when the bull market comes, I will sell all of them at a target price that I made, and then after the bull run, I will again buy different altcoins. Rinse and repeat. :D

The majority of coins like ETH, BNB, and also participating in casino tokens and meme coins, have the potential to be profitable. It is understandable to many people to consider adding a new coin to their portfolio in search of new opportunities.

ETH has a respectable position as a platform for smart contracts and decentralized applications. BNB has demonstrated strong growth potential as the coin of leading exchange Binance.

Spending part of your investment on casino tokens and meme coins can be an interesting way to participate in temporary trends, however, it can also be partly risky because of the volatility. .

I am trying to hold btc, eth, bnb, ada for next bull market and finally i wouldn’t buy any coin before starting bull section. I know i have been hold some top coin so if i can get bull market then it will be enough profits. We haven't seen a bull market for a long time so investors are now feeling a lot of pressure to buy any token.

ETH and BNB, are the altcoins that I have together with Bitcoin. I know there are a lot of potential altcoins, not to mention them all, but I'd think it was not necessary to have them all or many altcoins in order to earn a profit because having the two and investing more of them have no doubts that it gives you back during Bullrun. It was not the number of altcoins but the quantity we bought. I know that ETH and BNB could somewhat give a bigger chance to skyrocket during the bull season and most of all, I can manage my investment pretty well.

I think it is no brainer to hold BNB, I think they are the next one to explode on the next crypto bull run.  Along with BNB there is no harm in holding Matic, ADA, ETH (though I am not a fan of ETH but they have established their worth and has huge community that if triggered can make the price of ETH skyrocket.), and less popular like UTK.  Some meme coins like shiba inu, and Dogecoin.  I stay away from NFT projects so no NFT coins.

This is the right way of doing things that should be important thing. I understand that we should be doing something bigger for some bigger returns according to some people but those are just extra risks and I do not think that we should take them right now. It would be smarter to focus on what you do, based on what you do and how you do it.

When we are talking about crypto trading, it is a lot smarter to focus on what you could do with the fact that you are going to end up with btc, eth, bnb trio and they will bring you profit without a doubt. When I have that option, it just doesn't look like something I could do would be bad, it is going to be something that would be understandable and not really a worrisome thing.

Are you sure that there is so much supply available on the market, of course it looks like it will harm your finances or your long-term investment, because there are so many coins that have great potential for your profits later on, halving will happen soon, at least you are right and find out more about what coins will fall in the future, because it will change your fate if you make a wrong move, it will certainly be fatal later on and losses will always haunt you, but if your belief is strong please this is just a mere suggestion from me for you...

I think everyone is holding altcoins for the next bull run. Especially altcoins that have strong fundamentals like ethereum. For the next bull run I hold altcoins like eth and bnb strong coins . While there is no guarantee that any altcoin will see a price increase in the next bull run, this is just a guess on our part.  But for those who are putting more confidence in new projects, it will be very risky because very few new projects succeed nowadays.  The altcoin market may still go higher due to some changes in Bitcoin price and may provide opportunities for traders. So we should hold patiently for some more time.

Have some amount of ADA, ID, SEI, BNB. Thinking to hold till bull run.

i agree not hold BNB cause we not sure they plan. They just grab some token and make as owning after abadoned. what real project they got is nothing except exchanger. ADA is good i think i hold ADA too but they not become high anymore did possible they got new ath?

ADA is a good project but I think the hype might not be there like it used to be before the bull market lost it track. If the team bring out new interesting update to the community then the coin will start trenin6again like it used to be. We are still eait for the bull to come so that it can reach $1 at least to enrich the holders. BNB, SEI are all good projects that we can buy now and hold for now and await the bull that is coming to our doorstep based on different speculationa. If we can hold as long as we want to make profits from the market then that will surely come.

I've been trying to scout out varieties for my holding, but my presupposition got drawn to utility tokens, tokens with real-life use case mean, tokens that are maybe used to access a product or service. tokens used to incentivize users to use a platform or reward users for their participation in the platform. I recently considered trading exchanges tokens as a good and successful use case in the Crypto space so far.

Exchange tokens provide incentives for users to use the exchange, and they are also used to reward users for their loyalty. They are often used to fund development and marketing efforts, as well as to provide liquidity to the exchange. The performance of these tokens nevertheless have significant impact on the success of the exchange and how investors perceive the exchange. As such, exchanges operators will monitor the performance of their tokens and take steps to ensure that they remain attractive to users.

Now, I have been researching and trying to analyze on which exchange token is worth holding long term among other tokens with good utility then I stumbled on an heartaching analysis by a platform called TokenInsight that claims the Majority of Exchange Tokens Are Not As Profitable As $BTC except for  $MX and $BGB. According to these report's analysis of a number of exchanges token performance, $MX and $BGB are reported to have largest price gains since the beginning of the year, up 234% and 134%, respectively. Others didn't perform so well in terms of price gain since this January. Now I am again putting my eyes like an hawk to see which to pick.

I see a lot of potential cryptocurrencies at these times to be honest. And one more thing, I don't believe what is happening in the market right now in the crypto field is disappointing. Maybe for those who don't know much about crypto, this might be disappointing, but for people like me, it's not even an opportunity to buy cheap altcoins. And maybe others can agree with me on this.

So it is very true that those who have extra money or those in the middle class are the winners here because their future savings are sure to be secured. Those who invest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency are sure of that as long as their crypto is right and bought.

Most of the disappointment comes if the backend intention for buying a particular coin was for short term gains. And so if the token bought doesn't perform as expected, disappointing feels set in. But if one bought for long term holding and have steady income flow, if the market goes dip, they cease the opportunity to buy more.

You can see today the price of btc dropped even i have already bought it lot of. I am not thinking to buy more coin in the future bull market. Although if i will received good profits from btc after coming days then i will buy some coin for bull market action. This time really good for making profits from bitcoin so i can't loss this opportunity.

The preparation for next Bull Run market is now, base on the current market condition is good to buy and hold for next Bull Run, which is Matic, Tron, Ripple, ADA, TWT Coin and so many other alt-coins including Bitcoin are good to buy, while waiting for next Bull Run market that is coming soon.

Perhaps, investing is just like preparing for the future, not for tomorrow. Disappointments are just for those who certainly don't have any idea what the volatility looks like. Like in the current situation of the market today, panic and worries are at the heart of many individuals but those experienced investors know better and even think that there is a great opportunity when the market is in the correction. While some are selling off their coins, whales are also buying their coins, and in the end, whales are still the winners of the game.

ETH, XRP and LTC these are the altcoins that I have right now and I'm willing to hold them until the next bull run.
I also have other altcoins but majority of my funds are with the top coins. DCA is my strategy right now because I know the market is unstable and there's still a possibility of a dump but since I play long, DCA is ideal for me. If you are planning to invest on a new project, make sure its a good one and can compete long term with other projects.

Somehow, I feel like one memecoin rise is what will kick off the next bull mrkt this time. For this reason, I'm on the lookout for only memes and shitcoins. Although I do have my eyes on Matic and Solana, they'll def do really well too

indeed investing in altcoins is something that is very risky, even though it is risky I still want to invest in altcoins but I am also ready to take risks.

Of course, there are a lot of altcoins that I have saved up to now, and the one I have kept the most is ethereum and I plan to sell it during the bull run later, but right now I am still buying altcoins starting from meme coins and so on, and currently I am collect ethereum and also collect meme coin that is pepe coin.

      -  As much as possible, apart from Bitcoin, the matic, Bnb, Ada, Sol, Shibdao, and Shib, and even Pepe Coin, I will hold it because, according to my observation, it follows the steps of Bitcoin's movement. Its volume cannot be said to be small because it is still large, although it has decreased compared to before.

Actually, there is something else I want to buy that I didn't put in this post because I don't have enough money to buy the ones I want to hold before the bull run comes, but I hope I can buy those. Those are my priorities right now to have, at least little by little, as long as the important thing is to have those holdings, even if it's only a small amount.

I was surprised to see Pepe coins in your list of coins to hold. Well, for me, I don't do that because for several years that I've been here in the crypto space, I'd never see any meme coins rallied out during Bull season. It was too risky to do it mate but of course, it was your view and project insights which literally we all have different likes and criteria. Well, I won't say it was not good but must be careful about this project because it was only a few projects that rise after their hype as most of them dump.

Remember the risks that will arise if you choose the wrong coin and end up with a lot of losses. Why not just choose the top altcoin to be an asset to hold when the bull run comes. it's more guaranteed than uncertain memecoin and more likely to end in a rugpull. Hoping for big profits is everyone's dream, but you need to be careful, if you make a mistake you won't get your money back.

Altcoins I am holding for next 'bull run' are Etherum, Cardano, Doge, and XRP. These are the alts I have in most of my portfolio.

There are some other alts I also hodl but I can sell them at any time now. It will be ok for me to have loss of profits if I sell for Bitcoin or Ethereum, they are really under priced right now. 

Now I only have a small portion of altcoins like ETH, and for now I'm not thinking of going further into altcoins because I'm focusing on bitcoin. Maybe some time in the future I will think about entering more into altcoins and looking for opportunities there.
I don't even think about investing in memecoin or shitcoin at all, because the risk I take will be much greater there. I think why do we take big risks when I see better opportunities in other coins, especially bitcoin.
But it doesn't matter as long as we can bear all the risks if we go to memecoin, but I hope we do it not because we see other people also going there, but rather it is the result of analysis which then makes us sure to take a big risk.

My choice of alt for long term holding is Solana. It has got all the reason to be the next big thing in the coming bull run. It's a direct and better competition to Ethereum network. It's faster and cheaper than most of it's alternatives.
Another coin I've believe would fare well on bull is BNB, it is certain to double within a few days of start of a bull run. Binance has the largest share of daily transactions.

It's pretty simple I'm just saving bitcoin where I use a small portion of my salary to buy little by little. I always allot more portions to bitcoin compared to altcoins, and I can say that 50% to 60% of my portfolio is bitcoin. When it comes to altcoins I think I'm gonna fill my portfolio with layer 1 and layer 2 projects since most of them have great potential and they might even bring me more profit for the next bull run.

I don't think this is a good idea and it will only depend on what memecoin project you plan on holding since most of the time, they will end up being a rug project. For me, holding random memecoins and shitcoins will only result in huge losses but in other cases, some of them might become a gem that can give more profit than holding good altcoins.

How will you expect investors to be interested in altcoins when they know most of them are shitcoins? So why won't they stay away from new projects? I don't even believe in any new projects. If you are planning to invest in a coin, then invest in bitcoin. Some people that like taking unnecessary risks can invest in altcoins that have been in the crypto space for a long time. Don't invest in new projects. Some new projects are always looking very real, but at the end they will end up being shitcoin.

I do discourage people from investing in altcoins, but if you are planning to make an investment, make sure a higher percentage of your investment is in bitcoin and a small amount can be left in altcoins, so if anything happens to the altcoin investment, it's not really going to affect you. No altcoin investment should be trusted, but if you can hold your bitcoin, then you will later be in profit.

I also bought some a month or two ago, but I believe that PEPE is now a lost cause. It was hyped when it was listed and then quickly died down. I still have a small amount, but I'm not expecting anything positive to come out of it. I was extremely confident about the newly launched CyberConnect, but the recent rally of over 140% and its crash after a few minutes concerned me. I read that it was caused due to a massive purchase from a large corporation, which in the long term may pay off. SEI, another new coin, also seems like a decent option, which I'm planning to hold.

Generally, I avoid altcoins, except BNB and those two I mentioned earlier that were farmed through Binance's launchpad.

I would say some of them do not sound like good stuff, because I am not really a fan of memecoins, like shibdao? That doesn't even sound like a real thing to me. But I do agree with others, ada, sol, matic, bnb, and I would add in ETH too and that should be the good case. That is a list I could be behind and suggest to people as well, it should be something that could make some profit to some people without a doubt.

I know that it is going to be a tough one, but it should not be impossible to handle neither. I know that it will take some time, but it should be possible for people to make it work one way or another, and I believe that we are going to end up with a good thing that should be profitable for all of us.

My BNB is still in my wallet hoping that they can manage to fix everything with their problem against the SEC just before the bull runs because we all know if that's gonna happen surely the price of BNB will spike and it will be doubled with the effect of bull runs. I know this is a gamble but in the meantime, I don't find any assurance in the other altcoins especially meme coins because we all know they don't really have any vision or mission to contribute to fixing some world issues.

I don't see anything hot in L2 tokens apart from the initial hype that is created because of the airdrops they announce or people just expect that they will have an airdrop when they launch their tokens. I know that some of these projects might actually have the potential to perform very well in the bull run, but I don't think that only seeing that they are hot at the moment one shouldn't expect that they will also perform well in the long run as that can always differ.

A project doesn't necessarily have to gain as much success as it gets initially after a long term because trends change and so does the direction of people's investments, and a blockchain protocol will only be successful in the long run if there are a lot of projects and decentralized applications being built on it.

Holding BNB for now is not bad, BNB belongs to binance and BNB will be very valuable with many platforms developed by binance. Staking, launchpad and others that will provide more value for BNB holders. Even though the price is still bearish due to the Bitcoin effect, there will come a time when the bullrun comes and there is no reason to sell. Buying gradually is highly recommended and stay away from memecoin if you can't see the opportunity in it.

Most of the altcoins that you will save until the next bull run, most of them will be those that you did not dare to sell in time and now they are gathering dust in your wallet. And this is the main problem of most altcoins, if they are not sold in time, they lose their value and never recover.

Actually, I still hold several altcoins since the last bullrun, but I lost the moment at that time, so I still hold them until now and until the next bullish era. At least I can learn a lot from past mistakes not to be too greedy and have too high hopes. So, for this season itself, there are several coins that I really want to focus on for investment until the next bullish era. At least it will be safer than investing in hype new altcoins.

These coins are in this list for example:

3.Matic
These three altcoins are the most valuable in my opinion and I will continue to focus on them. However, I don't invest much in altcoins because somehow the risks are sometimes very high. Here, I stay focused on Bitcoin accumulation.

I guess you can find some assurances with some coins that are mainly layer 2, they are already down since they first got listed and got their first bullrun, so I think it will be great entry for whoever wanna invests for long term but then again there's no guarantee that they will have massive bullrun in the upcoming bullrun season.

but i'm sure that the problem relating BNB will be solved very soon, but there has been bad news appearing in regard of binance like how they are reccomending people to convert their BNB.

This is good news in my opinion. Investors are starting to realize that hunting for new coins in pre-sales in the hope of providing multiple returns is almost impossible. This is also good for old coins where it is time for investors to choose projects that already have good fundamentals. I hope this will reduce the number of shitcoins and hopefully the developers are really serious in developing new projects that really have very clear goals.

I'm still into Bitcoin and Ethereum. They are my biggest allocation in the next bull run because I don't know when we will experience a bull run again so I move most of my funds into the safest assets which I believe it is Bitcoin and Ethereum, others are in Arbitrum token and other Arbitrum projects like the RDNT.

Ripple hasn't updated its ATH in over 5 years, why use DCA for it? Unwise allocation of funds to sluggish altcoins that in the long run bring their investors less profit than bitcoin investments. Binance is also under threat as a lot of its products are either disappearing from the market altogether or are under regulatory scrutiny.

My altcoins of choice to weather the bull run are quite a few ETC, SOL, DOGE, ADA, BNB and the controversial coin XRP which is still stalled by the SEC. I believe that if XRP is able to pass and win decisively against the SEC, its price and adoption will increase rapidly.

Even though there are problems that have not been resolved, XRP is an alternative that can be taken into account because, in a situation that is under pressure with problems, it is still able to survive. This indicates that there are still many who believe in XRP, and of course, it is clearly supported by a very good community. I agree with your opinion that if the problem can be resolved, XRP will create a renewable ATH. I have completely stopped investing in new ALT coins after being scammed a few times after investing in some new coins. I now only invest in those ALT coins that have a very low chance of disappearing from the market.

I hope that in the last bear market this time before the BTC halving and bullrun, XRP visits its strong support again in the $0.28-$0.3 range, creating a low opportunity to buy. Xrp is an old coin that has never pumped high. Doge, LTC and Monero have created new ATHs with huge improvements. That leaves XRP which I hope will be able to provide a 10x or more price pump.

I do not hold a lot of altcoins at this moment and they're just like the major altcoins that we can see at the top now like Ethereum, BNB, and a few others. I don't think that I'll be holding random altcoins anymore because I've got some already and they're like just be there until I profit and don't mind taking the losses from those because they're like the altcoins that I've invested with money that I can afford to lose. That is so true, they're attractive and many investors are going crazy with those. But little did they know that many of the new projects are made to just scam people and milk money from gullible investors that think diversifying through them will make them money. I know many things is happening in the crypto market that is making  people to change their minds to invest in a new altcoins which is not a good idea because there are still some potential altcoins you can invest in this season you will not regret when the bull start soon. I think,  I'm planning to hold Solana and XRP in this season because there is a bright future ahead of those altcoins which many people don't know now until their price increase higher before they will begin to feel bad not to embrace them when their price was low in the market. If you are a long term holders in this season, I think it will be very easy for long term holders to achieve something reasonable from their investment than short term holders because all those altcoins will take a long time before their price will begin to increase higher.

BNB is a good choice by the way and also, issues in particular with exchanges are long being disregard given that Binance has proven its credibility to users.

On my end, I am hitting with XRP, BCH, and other major coins 'coz for me these coins performed well with the previous bullrun which for me a valid reason although it does not promote assurance. Yeah, this is the hardest part of the bear market; picking the right ones. You should be getting richer after the bear market if you do a good job, you could buy something with a high potential while it is low due to bear market, and then when that bear market is over and we go into bull market the price will skyrocket and you are going to make a ton of money.

However, if you are not careful about it, then you are going to pick something that will end up with a lot of trouble and should be something you should be keeping to yourself if you could. I mean not like anyone will force you to keep it to yourself, you are free to write any token you want here, just know that you are going to hurt others along with you when you do that.

I will hold XRP, and Hbar. I wouldn't hold a lot of altcoins because that would be a waste of your money. That means if you save 50 altcoins and some of them go up and down, of course that's very complicated and I can't think of it like that. I prefer to keep my assets in only a few altcoins that I have actually researched. This is all at your own risk but currently I believe in XRP because it has won the lawsuit from the SEC and Hedera (Hbar) because I believe in its potential in the future. This is my personal option.

Investing in Altcoin by seeing their rating and trading volume from CMC can be dangerous. A new alt can list in an exchange and generate fake volume to attract novice retail investors. Just look at how some funny-named alts are getting higher volume than some major alts from CMC. The Alt Market is full of lies and deceit.

I think polygon/matic is a nice project to hold onto.  I'm not into memes or any of the latest and flashiest things that swing wildly.  During this down time the polygon team has continually progressed theor platform and in a bull market could do very well.  Not to up on a lot of these new coins though so not sure about any others.  I like carousing these types of threads to see what people are shilling now a days.

That is not really a bad list to be fair, kudos on finding high quality stuff that actually promises something to people. I am not in position to say that they are the best and they will make you rich, I wouldn't know what makes people rich, if I did then I would have been very wealthy myself right now, so if I liked it, maybe that's not a good list lol.

But, seriously all jokes aside I feel like that's a good thing and you should be very happy about it as well. It needs to be something that needs to be considered a bit more carefully and it doesn't really need to be something that will make it change. All of those are known. While I'm also doing my part of trying to invest into AI projects but I have realized that maybe this time a few of them could grow as much as they can. Because in the past, there have been AI projects but they're not that popular at all and the attention given to them aren't that much compare today. And the newer AI projects that will be released on these moments will have significant attention since they've been launched on the right time. I have been focusing on tiny, micro meme coin Cheetahcoin.  It is cat meme coin on bitcoin's sha256.  It is mainly taylored to home solo miners of USB device gekko newpac, gekko compac F, or gekko 2pac.  It has randomSpike difficulty adjustment algorithm on top of sha256 to penalize big hash rate rigs on low difficulty period so that the USB smaller solo miners are rewarded heavily.

The above are mainly for miners fun. But for traders and investors,  Cheetahcoin (CHTA) is undiscovered micro meme coin that has market cap well below $1 million USD. so when this is discovered, the bull run could be huge.  Meme coins are for speculative fun but risky,  I would only put small % for any meme coin including cheetahcoin,  avoid  betting too big or bet your house on them.   

To prepare yourself to enter the bull market later, it is best to collect several altcoins that are at the top and have high trading volume because these altcoins have the opportunity to give us big returns when the bull season arrives. I personally currently still hold several top ranking altcoins such as ETH, BNB and LTC with this coin are able to minimize the risk of loss if held for the long term, currently I am not interested in new projects because in this bearish situation many new projects experience losses, only a few of them managed to survive in the market.

I am not planning because I already has altcoins ready for the next bull market and first on the list is Ethereum , I know that it is common coin and safer but that is how I managed my altcoins.

Absolutely , there are thousands of cryptocurrencies in existence and there are Hundreds in TOP rank that we can choose so why need to invest in single coin , also there is Bitcoin that is more safer and better so make it as our priority.

I may want to advise buying Ethereum also because that is what major altcoin means to me , and of course Binance though some news it was risky but for long term , I think I am good in this one.

I believe altcoins are not to be held for very long, it's okay as long as you are just holding them until the bull run and then selling them instead of keeping a hold on them thinking that they will become more valuable in the next bull run because that is foolish. Even the most trusted altcoins can face problems on the way to the next bull run, and one can also buy more if they sell them at their best price and then the market drops which always happens after the bull run.

So, the only cryptocurrency that deserves to be held for the long term is Bitcoin, in my opinion, and altcoins are good only for short-term trading where one can get a few percentages in profit and then sell them so that they don't risk losing their investment in case something goes wrong with the projects.

But, just ignore the noise and follow what your heart says. If you believe that Binance will pass all of their troubles and remains to be the top crypto company then go on. Currently there are lots of altcoins that are worth saving until the next bull run, I myself really want to add some altcoins to invest but due to cost constraints I choose not to add altcoins to my portfolio, for now I hold BTC, Binance, Ethereum , matic, xrp, ADA, and lite coin, even though the amount of each altcoin is not too much, currently I still hold these coins, hopefully it can be an investment that can provide profits in the future.

I'm keeping Solana for the next bullrun, I'm sure Solana can reach a new ath when the bullrun occurs, the case that happened to FTX has been passed and Solana is still standing today.
I think people's confidence in Solana is starting to revive.

My recommendation is ETH, you can further investigate Sol and Ton, the current price is too cheap so their growth potential as well as their development opportunities are huge in the future. Exactly and this is why we need to be careful and analysis deep before picking altcoins. It is true that, we'll see most of altcoins will pump when bull run is underway even including shitcoins! Altcoins holding coins with no potentiality, can increase risk. That's why need to pick up man inly those, which are unfortunately down due to effect of bear run but have potentiality to pump in perfect time. Besides i might be good to pick up some top potential altcoins rather than adding lots of altcoins in portfolio

There is that much risk with those altcoins that we think have the potential but in reality, they don't have it. Picking them based on your research is dependent on how you will take all of those research that you've done. It's not just all about the profit that you'll get but also on how you see how the project is doing together through its developers.

If you don't want to do that much then this is going to be your pick. Just rely on the top ones that have been strong all over these years and the ones that have proven their worth and have a good community. Those are just few reminders still you do you if it's about investing and altcoins.

The beauty of speculating on altcoins. When this thread was made I felt like solana, ethreum and other altcoins were 3 X below and cheap from the current price, that's how the season sometimes changes in a matter of months or even weeks. Including the shitcoin season even though it is a few days but can cover it buying major altcoins, I am very optimistic and still keep shitcoins in my wallet, the beauty of looking at numbers with a lot of nominal makes me that I am happy. :D I am very happy with altcoins and shitcoins because it is economical to buy and send them relatively cheap, if I continue to dump I only spend a small amount of money ;). I think I want to go down again to buy shitcoin solana, I know the risks, this is just fun in between my money, and a little celebration.

Well i don't start taking preparation yet but my preparation will be simple. For me, i won't expect much from my holded altcoins to become raise up like 15x-20x or more. And Thats why I'll purchase some potential altcoins like eth bnb ada dot! That's all, enough. But I could include one or two altcoins later in my portfolio if i found it necessary

Ethereum may not pump so hard giving the credible amount of profit of which a person makes the investment. Most Altcoins now are preparing their ground and taking advancement for their project in terms of Bitcoin halving cause they believe if Bitcoin should get into the Bull run then they will also be positively affected. I think the Sol should be one on the list, has done it several times and still possible to make it happen again, including getting some new Altcoins, presume with good potential.

the ICOs are like reviving this year. i'm sure you have noticed there are some projects doing presale already and because of this i think 2024 is just like the ICO year 2017 where all the tokens are also skyrocketing, this is really a huge year of crypto especially because of the ETFs approved by SEC.

ETH will be huge and i think including the L1 projects that are already in the market. if BTC goes more than $100K, ETH will also go up, $10k hopefully.

I’m not really an altcoin guy but I have ended up with a few alts as a result of experimenting with different technologies. Needing the alts to use made it so I’m willing to hold them in case I want to participate in the future. Those coins are Ethereum, Solana, & MATIC. I think MATIC has the best value, while Ethereum will likely be the most successful. Solana I don’t own much of, but their community is passionate.

Good choice, but I would advise you to cut down the number of tokens and coins you are planning to hold, I know you don't have a lot of them but it's still better having just a few, maybe 3 to 4 that will be your main assets and your capital should be spread among them because when you have a small capital and you spread it on a lot of assets, you will only have very small portions of each asset and that, in some cases, can limit your profits during the bull run.

Yours is still okay because you only have about 5, some people buy more than 10 to 15 different cryptocurrencies and hold them in their portfolio. It's understandable if you have a large capital and you plan to take profit when possible, but having a limited budget and buying so many cryptocurrencies with the aim of holding them long-term doesn't make much sense to me.

No altcoin should be held long-term without verification in the crypto currency market as any altcoin can turn into Shitcoin at any time. But there is no problem if you can invest in the leading and popular altcoins in the market. If you invest in popular altcoins such as Ethereum, Binance Coin, Litecoin, Bitcoin cash, TIA, Shiba Inu, XRP, Solana, DogeCoin, Cardano, SEI, etc., there will definitely be a possibility of profit.
However, if the investor in the market invests by following the plan, the risk is less. But in my opinion it should be wise not to invest all the funds in any one altcoin rather it must be wise to invest partially and percentage wise in different altcoins following DCA method.

definitely DYM and TIA, these modular blockchains are really good it also attract many whales to invest, its crazy how these blockchain without any hype or anything just come out, giving airdrop to many people, then went on to keep climbing in term of price from the first listing, that what attracts me to hold both of these coins.
also there will be some new coins released along the way, im kinda interested in investing new coin because its where the money at, the market for these new coin are thriving, hitting big volume always.
seems like a good business to get in, not to mention that there are many airdrop program, i will definitely try to accumulate when the price was still relatively low.

I also don't hold too many altcoins but I think it is not a bad idea to hold them. It is the same as you, I prefer to choose the top altcoins like ETH, SOL, BNB, ADA, DOT, TRX, or MATIC. These coins are the most popular altcoins with good fundamentals. I don't know if MATIC will be the best altcoins, I assume all these altcoins are the best. They have interesting factors that people deserve to wait for the progress in the future. As far as I know, all of that projects are claiming to always focus on developing their products. However, Solana and Ethereum look more active to campaign to the people about their plans for a better future.

I already bought some altcoins and still looking for some altcoins to buy but as btc halving coming and market might be dump from current position. Even many believe, that time will be best time for accumulation altcoins with low price. That's why I'm waiting for. But i recommend everyone to choose altcoins wisely. actually what we are expecting to happen soon is the dumping as the correction and the halving is coming and of course there are lots of  factor that need to be in the consideration .

I don't think there is a chance for a massive correction. We have already seen how the market reacted to a flash crash that happened a few days ago. It recovered 10K within days even after the big wick. I think it will be like this from now on. There can be a big wick candle, and then we will recover again. The main bull run is yet to come, and it can happen anytime in Q4 2024 or Q1 2025 for the altcoin market. Many AI related projects have already had a huge rally and some of the new narrative is trending too.

Honestly i plan to hold ada matic sol with more amount what i have. And then I've listed some more good altcoins like cake, sui etc. And of course i will buy dogecoin, who knows how high it would go. Even i don't have problem if it crash cause i already have good altcoins for recovery. That's why diversification is important. I won't buy btc eth or bnb with more amount again cause i think I've enough for hold. And now I'm looking for perfect time so that i can buy some altcoins what i mentioned already. I didn’t hold any altcoin since that time. Those who hodl-ed are likely smiling even if the altcoin market hasn’t had it hot like Bitcoin has. The altcoin market is already up due Bitcoin price but I believe there’s more to come for altcoins. Unless some crazy news breaks or they try to manipulate the cryptocurrency market at large. Let’s see how it goes, the halving is only a month away, a lot can happen in a month.

Investing in altcoins is risky, so I invested a small amount in altcoins. I have invested mostly in Bitcoin. I have invested a small amount of Ethereum and BNB SoL MATIC coins, I will hold these coins until the next bull market. I can sell it earlier after seeing the market condition. I am currently investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum with the DCA method, but mostly in Bitcoin. My plan is to hold Bitcoin for a long time.

We're already in the bull run season but if I had a choice to make during last year I would go for ethereum, BNB but I have none as I channeled all my attention to accumulating bitcoin. The joy that comes with investing is when you made a right choice and going for the right coin that has potential and ability to rise during the bull run, some has gotten value already but still should be able to surpass their previous ATH.

Thoughts changes with time. It will be good if you are developing in crypto Field. There's no lack of good altcoins in crypto market. So you can pick your after making your own analysis. Cause nobody can ensure anything. But if you don't wanna take risk then you can depends on top altcoins that are already proven their ability and keep developing. Solana already gets huge. But matic, arb, sui, near, ada still have space to grow.
