Base on ranking in this Forum we have;

Let's assume we are looking to add another rank that would be above the legendary mark? What name would be better fitting?  My suggestion would be to name it Ultimate Member .

What's your take on this and what name would you call the next rank?

Lol...What a nice imagination bro, but it's time to wake up from dreamland. :) I don't believe that "Ultimate" is more quantifiable than "Legendary." Legendary is what they use to qualify someone with the highest achievement. Unless the person is immortalized.

"Immortal Member" is not a bad idea though.

Ha ha, may be "Spartan memeber". By the way, why do we need another rank anyway? Is there any flow in the current ranking system or it is not serving the purpose it intended to? Perhaps many new members do not know but there are some special titles in the forum like "Donators and VIPs (https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html)". They are just some prestigious titles for those who donated 10 to 50 BTC to the forum a very long time ago. I am not sure if we still have any active VIPs in the forum or not. Thats a lot of money in the current market.

Unnecessary — because we can just base account “level” base off received merits. If we add higher ranks just so people would have more goals, we’d end up having like 5+ more higher ranks from here if it’s the case that this forum survives for a long time.

There have been quite a lot of discussions/suggestions about this in the past, with nothing doing from Theymos just yet. It is pretty obvious he doesn't think it is something that is necessary to implement in the forum. If you had used the seach button, you'd have found topics like these:

I can't stop dreaming if that's a dream 😅 I can't get that Ultimate Member as the next rank name off my head, I know you like it but you just mess around. It would be nice to have a debate on having Immortal Member and Ultimate Member as the next rank.

OP, this question was discussed so many times already. And from previous discussions, probably it's not worth to keep high expectations that theymos will add new rank. I'm not against such offer, but maybe it's one of things that forum must have.

I don't think that Ultimate Member makes any sense when we already have legendry rank members. The only good tag for such members that could be above legendry level should be Mythical, but I doubt that even that tag would make a lot of sense. That's why I think the current system of ranks for members is up to date and should not be altered to make some people more special than others.

A new thing that could be implemented would be to have proper tags or texts on the profile of some members who have done a lot for the forum. Tags like Best-contributor, and Most-supportive are good one if such system is implemented as they can show that the members who have done a lot for the forum have been rewarded by the forum. But, I still doubt that such things are going to take place anytime soon.

What purpose will the new rank serve? Another milestone to celebrate or look forward to? I think you should get to legendary rank first before thinking of a new rank after legendary. I don’t think we need a new rank, there’s already the 5k merit club and so on. Anyone who needs any more title can aspire to be the first to reach 20k merit.

Your thoughts good but that ultimate is not a good one to call on this forum, to my own suggestions I will like the new rank to be call the SUPREME you can also call it the SOVEREIGNTY because this ranks are the highest in the world both politics, both I don't think any other rank will be required in this forum for now, but if we all want a new rank that will be nice.
