Title: Do you know segment. (Get to know briefly a few legendary rank users and learn)
Post by: Streamz on August 11, 2023, 09:30:19 AM
Before I continue the topic question. I've been trying to go through those with reputable history and activities worthy of emulation in this forum. It is in no order just recent updates which could change in few days time so keep updating. I'd really like to be like one of them and do even better here in this forum as I gain mastery

I did this to let you all like me newbies know that rome wasn't built in a day although it's difficult now but you too can get here in a matter of time your speed depends on your ability to take instructions and act on them and post useful threads or ask questions that shows deep studies of Bitcoin.
Do you know?
You can navigate your way through to confirm all said here in the link below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit

Do you know LoyceV, El duderino_ , Cantsay and Ratimov are my mentors . Obviously they'd be shocked. Yeah I'm watching them closely wanna be like them. The list grow longer as time goes on so many mentors here

I'd be glad to know somethings you know and I don't. Let's keep it coming. We're learning.
[Should I apologize for posting this thread? All I see is abandonment of the aim of the thread and people trolling me because they say I'm too young to do this... Speed in learning...hunger in reaching your goals is now a crime I actually deleted this post but I'm seeing it here again I don't know how it happened but now I'm really confused if we're encouraging good things here anymore of it's just a high ranked thing. I accept the correction made as regards ...user: @icopress... check it out in the replies.
Please and please just make this thread important by adding to it what you know so far I'm gonna keep surprising you as I came here not for jokes but to be serious in my post and my questions . I'm sure someone would be appreciative by helping me reach higher ranks soon. Thanks for the words I take all and learn from them but I'm not backing out!]

You account is just a day old and it seems like you know more about the merit system than those that have spent more than a month here in the forum. I highly doubt that this account is being controlled by a genuine newbie, most likely an alt, but that’s no issue here in the forum.

All you said in your post were centered around merits. As a newbie you main should be “how to acquired the right knowledge” and with time you’ll see the merit flowing in. You really don’t have to start digging into merit history. If you direct your time into learning bitcoin rather than merit history it will be more productive than what you just did.

I really don’t know how you got into the forum or what made you sign up an account here in the forum but with what I saw on this thread I think you have a wrong idea about what the forum is all about. Yeah, it’s true that you can earn little from the forum but that does not mean that you should neglect the main aim of the forum which is “discussion” and I can assure you that once you start showing signs of a desperate merit fisher instead of you to receive the merit you seek you’ll instead end up in the ignore list of forum members.

Btw, welcome to Bitcointalk.

I asked that same question once.  ;)

It seems that the Switzerland thing comes from his systematic neutral stance in many forum discussions. I don't think I'm not giving away any secrets if I say that he actually lives about 1000 kilometers further north.

Looks like OP knows more than many of us here as I was also not aware that LoyceV is from Switzerland. Why does it feel like the OP is an alt of someone who has been a forum veteran as he found out about all of these legendary members in just one day? It took me a few days just to understand different boards and child boards when I was a newbie. Having an alt account is allowed in the forum but behaving as if you are new and trying to get some merits with such a topic does not look good.

Maybe did you also know that it will take a newbie some time to have make such discovery you made, you just registered your account on the 10th of August 2023 and comes up with this discoveries, how come? Am not sure you're indeed a newbie, did you even know that not every newbies on the forum are newbies, some were nothing than alt accounts, a true newbie will be more interested in learning the forum and not extracting the forum merits data to encourage how fellow newbies, you can also reason this along with me.

How did you know about LoyceV, El  duderino, Cantsay and Ratimov when you are only two days old?

It is unbelievable that you know many things about merit system after two days here. You know many information about many users but information about icopress is not correct.

He is a self made legendary member and only received 10 airdropped merit when merit system kicks off.

He has 5379 total merit and 5369 earned merit according to BPIP https://bpip.org/Profile?id=1137579

The question mark has been there for a long time.

You account is just a day old and it seems like you know more about the merit system than those that have spent more than a month here in the forum.
It feels like someone who's only interested in the tabloid-gossip part of Bitcointalk, instead of the Bitcoin part.
This, for instance, is really weird:
activities worthy of emulation
And there it is:

What do you need that higher rank for? ::)

I was also not aware that LoyceV is from Switzerland.
Great! Keep it that way :)

I think that the OP will not be offended if he receives a statement in the trust that he is someone's alternative account, as was the case with the PytagoraZ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3559721) account.
I've always assumed that an alternative account that wants to masquerade as a newbie will be more modest, supposedly not inciting people to speculate about its true appearance and origin.
But yes, alternate accounts are allowed, and given one neutral or negative tag, beginners will create a new one with a clear conscience.
Not a problem, right, OP? :)

You could be right on that but thats not an issue I guess. Many high rank users are able to create a dummy account or newbie when they wanted to speak against or related issue. But judging from his tone we can feel like his already been a member and telling a story or admiration to some of the users here. Cause he knew popular guys which I can say barely know especially location based.

Yes very well please! I affirm to this and sincerely I got in in let's say less than a year but I've been posting I guess not meaningful and I feel I started on a wrong foot and now decided to start with good intentions, cool post to engage us in deep discussion hoping I'd be appreciated but here see what's going on even people I mentioned are part of those calling me names ... what doesn't even apply... I believed this post would yield true talks and it would have if some are not trying to be gods themselves. So pained! I wonder why the delete of this post wasn't effected

Thanks for saying this!

OP you have a good write up and I must say, you did a good research here to finding more about the merit system and how it works here not only that, the names you have mentioned here are names with reputable attributes and have contributed immensely to the development of this platform. They are very much active and have been of help to the growth of members here.
But I am curious about your identity. You seems not to write like a newbie you are.  The way and manners at which you  wrote assumes the position of an alt. of a well placed member who knows more about this platform

A newly created account giving us this kind of insight into the merit system and the top merits users. What now happens if he stays long in the forum? He would possibly going to lecture us on how we can generate merits for ourselves. Hahaha

Can we actually call this speed learning for someone new in the forum, not up to 2days to dig out what many forum members that have stayed up to months don't know about? Does it mean that they are not interested in learning about the forum and its merit system?

What you did now is life bashing into someone's house newly and be telling the person what's in the person's apartment and that seems to be correct. Will it be possible for the person to believe you if you tell him this is the first time of coming to his apartment? He won't ever believe that, than saying that you have once come into his apartment without his knowledge.

What it means is that you have been in this forum for long with another account, not with this newly created account that you are acting up like a newbie. Anyway, having other accounts in the forum is not prohibited though but not by giving a lot of false pretends

OP has known too much than he is suppose to know in just few days which makes it obvious that he is an alt account of a high rank user. Telling people more about the Legend rank members and their merits statistics isn't something someone new would ever think of. A newbie will always act like a newbie by asking questions on how to grow in the forum or teaching people what they understand that might be wrong. OP is different instead he is giving us information of old members that are prominent people in the forum which makes him look suspicious to be as old as this legends that he mentioned are in the forum. I wouldn't be surprise if OP tells us how the forum was before the merit system was introduced.

Does this prove that you're a NEWBIE?? Cus you barely got registered some days before you formulated this post...well not to worry, I'm not interested to know anyways.
It's good to know that many have gone into research jobs to know the statistical values of the entire merit circulation... Well, there's no crime in that...I only see it as 'not being necessary' to be elaborated like this since everyone can easily analyse it themselves.
