Title: miner 2023 / 2024
Post by: limerx on August 16, 2023, 10:49:40 AM
Hi all

First:

I would like to know if you have any NEWS about future miners for 2024? Apart from a new miner on the Monero algorithm, and another BTC rating, would there be corridor noises about other types?

Second: if to date you had the choice to mine over a period of 2 years on what type of algorithm would you do it? apart from BTC ...

Thank you

If you do not have equipment for mining coins other than bitcoin, then it is better to buy coins, the price of which, in your opinion, will grow in the future. Now bitcoin mining is more profitable than any altcoins, but you should have cheap electricity and the ability to buy inexpensive ASICs.

I not agree.
I get more sats/watt with my GPU´s as an BTC miner.

My RTX3070 rig with 12x GPU´s uses with dual mining around 2000w and give me 30000 satoshis (stable for months now) while my S19J+ pro uses 3300w at the wall and give me only 24000 sats and this is declining.
The good thing is we can nearly mine all coins direct into BTC with 2miners, Zergpool, (Nicehash)

Well, this is your special case.
And what will be more profitable to buy now for mining?
Buying an RTX3070 rig with 12x GPU can be much more expensive than buying 1 S19J ASIC and profit from altcoin mining can decrease.
It’s also profitable for me to mine on my video cards, because they paid off for me a long time ago and it’s free, but a beginner will have a different math.

oh really 12x rtx3070 can get 30k sat daily, well im not sure of it :D and it wont happen after electric cut, even with cheapest electric price.
to be honest even with asic at 0.05 you got 100% profit atleast, on gpu no way can do that except when some coin spike, and next couple day it began break even again
