I know bull is still away from us but as an investor, I'm excited from now. And today market condition also impressing, altcoins start pumping hard and going on. So are you excited for upcoming bull session like me? What altcoins you are holding? Are you planning to hold ONLY Layer 1 altcoins? Or some more altcoins for More profit?  Kindly share your altcoins name if those are ranked from 30 to 200, according to Cmc and coingecko.

Do not be excited yet, if bitcoin price will drop to $20000 from $26000 which is the price it is now, that is 1.3x fall, but it would be more for altcoins. Some altcoins may fall 2x or more by that time.

If you know that you are investing on altcoins, know that you are gambling. You can invest like 30% of your money on altcoins, while 70% on bitcoin.

Personally I gave up all altcoin and hold just bitcoin before bull season.
But for me, if I'm going to buy some altcoins, there are many options like
ETH, LTC, XRP, Doge, SHIB, ARB.

Best hype for SHIB but personally i can say if the price of btc is dumped again then the price of many good altcoins will drop 1x-2x very easily and everyone will buy using that time. I think the op is considering such a time but it may be too soon because the bull market is unlikely to come soon. Moreover all the coins that are in the top 100 in cmc have a high marketcap so you can't push them away.

Not that a lot but BTC, ETH, and a few more popular altcoins.

I don't know yet. As long as I can afford to buy it and I did my research on it, I'll hold. But for now, no reference and I want to stay from the current holdings that I have. Naming all of them will be a lot but it's not yet on my portfolio so I need to keep on researching before I include them.

No more Altcoins for a while mate, just holding onto Bitcoin and ETH at the moment, I would suggest not to burn your money by investing into tier 2 altcoins at the moment as one day's market trend is not enough to take such hasty decisions. Let the bull market begin and Bitcoin pump post which we can indulge into investing in altcoins and meanwhile do some research and shortlist your altcoins, I would start researching on altcoins at the beginning of bull run as it's too early to predict anything.

I have seen some of the posts about the bitcoin that people were saying it will be dropped but I don't know why they were saying that, although the price has been gone up today from 26k to 28k, and it is in some hours, which is a positive thing for the altcoin, I should buy Ethereum if the bitcoin is in same condition.

Totally stoked about the potential bull run! I'm holding with XGo and loving the simplicity of XGoID. This whole market surge has got me intrigued, and I'm diving into those altcoins ranked between 30 and 200. Spreading out my investments is the name of the game if I want to make the most out of these gains!

I am holding a few layer 1 altcoins for the next bull run. Some of the coins are received as testnet rewards. But the main thing altcoins value depends on the bitcoin market. If the bitcoin goes down, all the altcoins will be rekt.

Im not so excited with the current movement of bitcoin. The grayscale news was triggering the bulltrend to happen but this will be only last for a week or more. I would rather await the bulltrend caused by the halving impact than good news from US. I saw only one or two tokens pumped so hard, how can you say that if the altcoins are starting to pump? Altcoin was just recovering its price from being traded at the bottom due to the bearish trend.

Mostly L1 and L2 coins. Im not interesting in picking gamefi or even ai coins. Exchange token is quite good at this moment as well as web3 tokens.

Altcoins are better but i must remind you that if L1 coins are also altcoins. You can't see it as different compared to ordinary altcoin.

I just try to mention some coins like cyber, stack or ton.

Since no one can predict accurately then better to be safe. If the current level goes down to $20k then altcoins are gonna bleed to death. Transferring to less volatile like bitcoin and eth will be best choice for alts or better yet use stablecoin or stay on that for a while until confirmation of a reversal it could also be a good opportunity to stack out for alts. But for holders, justvlike me better to be on safer coins or coins that has active use case on their platform.

Only altcoin in that range in coinmarketcap that i hold at the moment is Unu Sed Leo. As i am kinda hoping for them to Bitfinex to get rest of their stolen bitcoins back. They already recovered $314K, which gives me hope, but that's not much of the total $3.6 Billion stolen. If they get rest of it back it's an insane moon time, like nothing we have seen before for Unu Sed Leo.

It's harder to take profits than deciding what to buy when the market is bearish.
So why should we buy new Alt when established coins are also discounted?

Taking profits isn't just about securing gains, it's about respecting discipline and strategy and not being easily swept up in market euphoria.

We're just learning the lesson in the past that it's better to have more bitcoin as it controls the market more than any of those altcoins. But if someone's preference and getting more altcoins, that's okay.

A stable strategy that you've been doing and that's what is going to give you much profit in the bull run. Yeah, we get excited because we're holding some but don't expect that most of it will shine.

some altcoins that still not shaken by the after effects and instead regaining value, though I agree that only 30% for investment is already enough.

All altcoins in general move on the same direction along with Bitcoin since the crypto market is revolving on Bitcoin in terms of price trend. Holding multiple altcoins is almost useless since they are following same trend which means diversifying is not really important. The only advantage of holding multiple altcoin is the chance that some of your altcoin will skyrocket out of normal pump range of tokens.

I’m planning to hold few altcoins but only those show a sign of mega pump in the pump and still have strong community until now and not those shitcoins that already dead.

Because many new investors today like to gamble. They just look at the past the new altcoin always made a hundred percent more profit than established coins. Of those coins, I'm most bullish for algorand, they are going solid on dapps adoption. And have a good amount of money locked on its chain. It's on par with solana on technology while would stop generating new coins after 2030.
KCS and Huobi token is another good option if you believe theres going to be another bull run soon, exchange tokens are in discounted price right now.
If you are into swing trading PEPE could be a good coin to accumulate now.

I myself used to buy Altcoins at one time when Altcoins were going through a rough patch, I personally invested in some coins and lost some of my purchases. Since then I don't invest much in Altcoins and my personal opinion is that if you want to invest at all, it's better to do it small. My advice to those who want to buy coins from Altcoins is to buy these coins ETH, XRP, SHIB may be something good in future.

It is simply too risky to buy those coins, only a handful of altcoins are any good and they are at the top, if you were interested in those coins then investing in them right now would not be too much of a problem.

But investing in altcoins outside of the top 10 or the top 20 is a bad idea if you ask me, as there are many scams which have reached a high enough market cap to be part of the top 200, and if you invest now in those coins you could lose all of your investment before you have any chance to make any money with them before the bull run.

Easily for coins outside from top ten standings in CMC become scam at the future, less of them not think with good progress in the future and get moment awhile with coin up suddenly and back to lower and difficult raise again. Many outside top ten altcoin in CMC have become scam and delist from exchange market, its not worth if want to invest with coins outside top 10 in CMC.

My priority always investing with top ten standings rank in CMC than have to get risk with outside of top ten standings, there are not guarantee will that coins exist or keep listing on top exchange market?

Yes, I notice some changes in the price of some altcoins in the market which is a sign that bullish season is very close to investors, because Ethereum has increased to $1,543 which there is a hope that it will hit $2000 before the end of next month for investors to embrace income from their investment. I'm holding binance and Solana currently, which I know it will definitely increase to my satisfaction any moment from now because whenever Bitcoin is pumping in the market other altcoins price will begin to make some positive changes too. I think, there is opportunity for those that missed it before to use this bearish market to correct their mistakes to invest in a potential altcoins that will bring them income at the end.

If there's a minor recovery, don't be too excited since there's no assurance that the bear market is over. The price of Bitcoin is under $30k, still far from bullish season and a time to fill our bags.

Anyway, I only hold few altcoins as I allocate a huge percentage to Bitcoin. I have ETH, BNB, LTC and IOST. A little memes and casino token. I'm not expecting to have a huge gain with these alts but it's better than holding nothing. Just be aware that holding alts are more risky compared to holding Bitcoin, since alts often good to only hold for short period.

I've seen the first bull run back in 2017, and I was a newbie at that time thus, I don't know what happened at that time. The only thing that I know is that market went up, and went down the next year. No any feelings whatsoever. The 2nd one was in 2021 where I didn't felt any excitement, but disappointment, and regret because I didn't sell a huge portion of my holdings at that time. I just let those profits wither. I'm only a few buttons away from getting it.

I'm not excited for the upcoming bull season because I know that it will happen, and at the same time, I might make unnecessary decisions when I feel excited.


A little bit of Ethereum, Cardano, Crypto.com Token, and Atom. Most are staking coins because I'm a long term holder. I feel a bit of regret about CRO token though. :D

Layer 1 or Layer 2 it doesn't matter.
As long as the project has a bright future, and has a use case that's beneficial to us investors then I will buy it.

Layer 1 altcoins will remain a good choice but bitcoin remains the best among the existing coins.
Many coins can go up, especially koi that are ranked 30 to 200, so it will be confusing for you to choose them.
Maybe you can focus on coins priced under $1 in the 50 to 100 only.
I still hold some altcoins and meme coins for gambling because meme coins still have a high probability of increasing.

I buy altcoins that can potentially give more returns than bitcoin over the next 2 years. I see absolutely no point in buying altcoins that won't be able to overtake bitcoin in terms of investment returns. What's the point of risking altcoins when you can buy a more reliable bitcoin and wait for it to grow. The only point in buying altcoins is a bigger profit margin than bitcoin.

Coins that have been on the market for more than 5 years are unlikely to do well. So you have to buy relatively young coins. That's my position, DYOR.

The category that I'm going to select probably is the project that has been existing for a long time. If I'm going to select from what Husires posted, I'm going to select EOS, Zcash, and DASH.

Everyone is always excited about the bullish market but i wont be that excited if i'm unable to achieve my BTC target before the bullish market.

In this current season, the layer 1 altcoin is the best to invest in because layer 2 will always depend on layer 1 no matter how solid the token concept is.

It is good not to be greedy when making an investment in the altcoin market.
Honestly, I don't have an altcoin that's in the 30-200 rank. I only have BNB, ETH, and CRP coin for now though that might change before next year because I am examining 2-3 altcoins.

If pretty understandable if you gave up all altcoin and just Bitcoin before the bullish season since the market momentum during the bullish will be determined by the BTC market moment but if you have given up all altcoin how are going to buy some altcoin because your statement seems to be contradicting either other.

First of all I am not very interested on altcoin for the next bullrun. Most of my funds are primarily invested in Bitcoin. However, some of my funds I have invested in alternative coins are mostly top level alternative coins. So considering all these aspects I am not going to invest in an alternative coin because my choice is multiple alternatives.

I think most people would potentially invest in altcoins rated something like from 30th and below, and I also buy a lot of altcoins from 30th and below, but I also don't miss investing in altcoins that are currently ranked above 30th, and are currently The altcoins that I hold that are ranked above 30 is The Sand Box, Fantom (FTM) and so on.

I'm also not interested on altcoins that are way below the rank like 30-200, because that is already a big risk on our end to invest on them.

I do not think that it is unavoidable at all, it should not be going down that much if you ask me. I do not think that we are going to end up with a result like that at all, it will be something much different on the long run. I know that it is going to be something to care about, but it doesn't really feel like we are going to end up with a situation that would be easy to handle.

You are right that not all altcoins have performed well against Bitcoin. Even if the price of bitcoin increases by 10%, altcoin prices see a slight increase. I'm not quite sure on Layer 1 or layer 2 now is not the right time but if you want to gamble please but I warn not all altcoins will have a good session in the upcoming bullrun season so pay attention and research again, I think much safer is bitcoin.

Besides when you think about it the coins that are within that range are coins that already experimented a huge growth on the past and that are unlikely to grow that much on the future, if someone is looking to invest in altcoins because they have dreams of making a fortune then they need to look for coins with a very small market cap that are just being released.

Otherwise it is better to just invest on the top coins on the market and simply forget about low cap coins as the risk they represent does not match the profits you could get out of them.

The Bear market come my way without preparation and was the time I came into cryptocurrency investment during last Bull Run and every Coin price has drop in a way that nobody knows the next price Bitcoin, while most people are predicting Bitcoin we come down to $20,000 before next bull run start and if you can bear with me Bitcoin is the King among other alt-coins in the cryptocurrency market. While waiting for next Bull Run good to have some alt-coins like: Matic, ADA, Shiba Inu, XRP, LTC, Solana, Apenft and so many other alt-coins on base on your portfolio.

As I have also been in profit from the ARKM token, as this is also the best coin for trading, and my portfolio nowadays consists of more than 50% ARKM in it, it has given me a decent profit before and now still holding it.

If I study and observe the market at present and the news happening now in the crypto industry, it is possible that Bitcoin will fall by 20–22,000 dollars each. Also, every time the month of September enters the crypto business industry, the market is always in the red.

And always remember that when Bitcoin's value decreases, almost all cryptocurrencies also fall in the market,  there are only a few that pump suddenly, but those are only a few. I cannot believe that some people really want to invest into shitcoins and openly talk about which shitcoin they should be investing into. I am sorry but it is not going to be possible and we are not going to make any money from this if we are not careful.

I think it should be important to make it as profitable as possible for ourselves and in order to do that we should be caring about what we are doing. If we invest into low cap stuff like these for a chance of making more in the future, then we are going to be losing money. The slight possibility of making profit that way is not really a good idea and we should be careful with it, it doesn't work that way and we can't really move it any other way even if we wanted to.

I know what you mean but at the end each person can decide what they want to do with their money, even if that decision is mistaken, as it is obvious that such person is not really interested in investing in good coins and wait for a few years in order to get good results.

What they want more than anything is to get huge profits and to get them as soon as possible, and the only developers willing to offer such opportunities are the ones behind shitcoins, which is why so many people are still interested in coins that do not really have any possibility to make a long term impact on this market.

Now you need to be careful, so it is better to invest in proven tokens, for me they are ADA, MATIC and TFS, although they are still profitable for me, but I am sure that during the bullrun they will bring even more money

I have some coins in my holding, I want to sell them after Bitcoin halving. Because as far as I know, Bitcoin and other coins will also increase in price. And I am waiting for that time (bull run).

The small up rising of coin you see or noticed I believe that the small up rising should not supposed to make any cryptocurrency investors to be excited, because I believe that the market of cryptocurrency interchanges in value always but the problem is that you have to know that the ratios you in market today will not be same value you will see tomorrow. So the market fluctuates in the market, so we shouldn't expect bullish this year but by next year or upper year 2025

Indeed, if I have large enough funds, I will also do as you do by remaining focused on Bitcoin, because its reputation cannot be doubted and will bring its holders very profitable results.But opinions can differ, and that is normal because there are many points of view that must be considered, but I still believe in potential altcoins only and in the best rankings and don't want to speculate with doubtful ones. However, if you choose altcoins between ranks 30-100, I actually have a few, but they are not the main investment. They were only obtained from several programs or at that time they were still hype. And this is a good lesson for me to be more careful in the future.

To be honest, here are some altcoins that I still save and hold since last season's bullish season because I was too late to take profits. But, this is not my main priority, just leave these altcoins alone and if they are still good they will rise again, if not, that's fine, forget it and leave them in your wallet.

Certainly, the bull market hasn't commenced as of now, and there's a strong anticipation that the market will begin picking up steam in the upcoming December or next year in January. I've chosen a few cryptocurrencies ranked between 30th to 200, including Aptos, Arbitrum, XDC, Tezos, Cake, Enjin, and Sui. However, my primary attention will be directed towards XRP, Polygon, and Quant.

I am picking Matic and BNB for the next bull session. I already hold some amount of Matic and BNB. Due to the low transaction fee of Polygon network, its demand is gradually increasing. So I think Matic will have a huge pump during the next bullrun.

The current market condition is not favorable to invest in altcoins because you never can tell which altcoins will make it before the bull run starts. Investing in altcoins is like a gamble that involves risk and if you are not careful, you will end up having a loss investment. Don't be too excited when one pumps in price because it's always like a trap to make you invest out of FOMO.

The time for you to be excited shouldn't be now, you know why? Because the bearish is not over. When you are supposed to be excited is after the bitcoin halving and we are looking forward to the bull run taking full effect on the crypto market by skyrocketing bitcoin and other altcoins we held in our portfolios.

You are right but it is precisely that haste to get profits what gets people in trouble, it is the easiest thing in the world to invest in bitcoin now and wait two years before selling to get great profits without too much of an effort.

But many people are not willing to wait even that short amount of time, they want to invest in altcoins now and make profits immediately, even if the market is not ready to support those tactics, and in their rush to become profitable they do not realize they will get the opposite results, as investing in altcoins ranked 30 to 200 does not seem like the best idea to me.

From the said range, I'm currently accumulating two coins that I can share openly. Arbitrum and Aptos are my picks for the next bull run, I think those two has a potential to become a trend in the next bull market, their price isn't that much high or has experienced a massive price growth. I'm contented with having them on my portfolio but I these coins are the coins I can discontinue anytime or sell if there's something bad happen to these projects. I stop collecting large coins like Ethereum and BNB for the mean time but I still accumulate bitcoin.

L1 Altcoins probably best invest idea for next bull run. Others altcoins aren’t as good as L1 but yeah, you can make temporary profit from those. I'll invest my large percentage of money, in L1 Altcoins mainly ether. And as some altcoins may pump 5x  to 10x for during bull run, so i want to task a little risk with others altcoins like Arbitrum, Sandbox and some others, as i am still on analysis actually.

I believe these ones will be hot in next 1-3 years. When you look the size of projects, market caps, teams, tokenomics, based on my personal research - this is my list of biggest potential in xTimes token can run. So, I do believe all of them have at least x10 potential.

I see the issue of altcoins at this stage not being attractive enough to accumulate. IMO, I have great confidence that there will be a sharp decline in the market before we enter a new bull cycle. L1 is always a good opportunity to approach, the leading and developing coins all have different opportunities or risks, balancing them in your investment portfolio will not make you regret later.

But I also have researched the altcoins you mentioned and think they have enough potential to bring big profits. In addition, I still want to mention a few trends that can be researched. The altcoin category does not necessarily need to pay attention to too many things because in the end, we are all susceptible to FOMO during the bullish phase.

Yeah, altcoins may not be enticing right now. However, their worth doesnt necessarily reflect market trends. We've seen this dance, right? Crypto is tough, and altcoins may surprise you if you play your cards well.

I admire your study and conviction in altcoins. They appear promising, but we all struggle to discern good research from hype. All of us have been there, right? I heard about a coin, got excited, maybe FOMO'd, and invested. Having a balanced portfolio means a balanced mentality. Never put all your eggs in one basket, they say. Keep researching and digging to stay ahead!

I am not a big fan of altcoins. But if I had to decide, here's what I would choose:

There are different numbers of altcoins. Some have an on-going issue while some have an issue which are running for a long time already. Yes they can be a turn-off. The sharp decline that you are assuming seems done already before. Sorry but I don't think it can happen again, now that the year is now ending and the halving period is approaching quickly.

Currently sitting at no 69 on Coingecko, BGB reached its ath last week and has maintained solid levels ever since. Though I'm already in a bit of a profit having bought much earlier, I'm still holding cos I've got a tingling feeling its gonna rip right through that mark again pretty soon : ))
