I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?

I wouldn’t advise anyone to join a bounty campaign as it is a waste of time.

If you take a loook at the bounty section you’ll. price that so many hunters do register for a campaign that has just little pool and when calculated at the end of the campaign (let’s assume a four weeks campaign) each account will receive $4-$5 which is not even up to the amount they use for their internet subscription.

Aside from the fact that bounty hunters get paid little or no money (when they work for a scam project) the bounty section is also considered the land of spammers, it is extremely difficult for you to get a bounty hunters that were able to grow their account here, only a few of them were able to retrace their steps here in the forum so if you don’t want your account to remain in a newbie then just avoid the bounty section.

Maybe cause there are so many scammers looking to swindle investors off their money.

There is little chance you earn money from bounties, and many of the coins shared in the bounties do not worth anything.

I understand your desire to make money quickly, but try to make a minimum of effort in order to get acquainted with the rules of the forum and search for the questions you are interested in. Believe me, the question you are interested in has already been asked many times on the forum, so you just need to re-read the previously created threads, which are located in the "Beginners & Help" section.

Unless you're referring to signature campaigns, then you're likely to not make any meaningful amount of money with bounties. Done are the days where you just share stuff using your social media accounts to get a decent amount of dollars worth of tokens. Today, airdrops are through protocol usage now (thank god).

Bounty hunters often come across as spammers in this forum. Even if you choose to participate the rewards may not be worth it. I believe that some of the bounty campaigns here that offer token based payments don't pay enough due to limitations and small prize pools. Personally, I am not inclined to accept token payments for such tasks unless the token is already listed on a reputable exchange.

I would rather engage in campaigns that offer Bitcoin as payment; these tend to be more credible and have performed well within this forum.

Bounties were useful when solid projects were entering the crypto sector, but nowadays, practically all bounties are unworthy of consideration because almost all of them fail, especially given the current state of the cryptocurrency market. I don't believe people are interested in fresh projects because the majority of them are fraudulent.

Furthermore, our dissatisfaction for bounties arises from the fact that there are things to learn in this community that are far more beneficial to bounties. If you take your time and go through this forum, you will be interested in learning Bitcoin and investing in Bitcoin rather than wasting your time on bounties that will not pay you a respectable amount.

How old was the video that you saw? As I have read from this thread and somewhere in the forum, there was a time when the bounty section was very interesting, rewarding participants with huge amounts of money, and sometimes up to 1-5% of the total token allocation was given to airdrops and bounties, but right now there isn't much of a reward coming out of bounties considering the number of participants that are also partaking in them. The reward will be very small and won't be worth much, so I don't think anyone will be making any new videos regarding how to earn from bounty now.

Another thing is that it seems that back then, there were many good and potential projects that tried so hard to fulfil their promises rather than just having it in mind to scam others and rug-pulling when they hit their target.

Currently, there is little coming out of bounty programmes, but they are still not completely useless, and they are not worth all of your time. If you want to give it a try, you can DYOR on a few of the projects, select the ones you will like to participate in, and see what you can get from them at the end of the campaign. But don't expect more from them. If the few that you pick among many happen to give you little things, then you can decide if you are to continue or if you are to let go of them.

You gave good advice to a beginner who has just registered on the forum) You needed to make a clarification that a beginner will be able to receive payment in bitcoins for the signature campaign only when he reaches the necessary merits and rank. And the more merit he earns, the more he will be able to receive bitcoins.

You should ask that YouTuber about it. If you are looking for ways to earn money, better skill up first. There is nothing free in this world mate except dust. Most of the altcoin bounty is a scam and only waste your time. There is a paid signature campaign but it will be extremely hard for a newbie like you to rank up and join one of those pretty soon. So it is up to you but my advice will be don't waste your time looking for money here instead use that time to learn something and in the meantime use your free time to spend in the forum in case one day you rank up and join a btc paid signature campaign.

If I understand you correctly, you want us to recommend a bounty for you to join? You could have easily asked the YouTuber what to do in the comment section, he is the reason why you are here in the first place and I’m sure the video was well detailed and convincing enough to get you here. I’m not fond of bounties and bounty hunters for obvious reasons, most bounties are a complete waste of time because the project turn out to be useless or scams. I read in one of your posts that you are not a newbie to cryptocurrency, in that case I think there are better ways to spend your time than bounty hunting.

This forum don't encourage bounty hunters because they will not have time to learn what was the purpose for creating the forum which is bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. They will only care about how to login and meet up with their daily airdrops. A bounty hunter can be in the forum for ten years and wouldn't know where the bitcoin discussion board is or have any idea of what is going on in the forum.

This makes their membership here irrelevant and they will end up as shit posters which is an offensive act in the forum. I could understand that airdrops pays are cool way back but presently,they are waste of time and some of them ends up being a scam. Learn bitcoin and grow in knowledge and rank so that you can get to a full member rank where you can join a signature campaign.

I like how you're coming out straight by asking it the way it's. You aren't making any pretence about why you're here and what you want. However, I've to tell you that what the YouTuber told you about making money on this forum isn't the way it's. Perhaps, six – eight years ago, it would've been correct. This day it's much trouble and stress making money here from bounties because most of them shamelessly don't like paying at the end of the bounty.

Secondly, you have to rank up to (at least to Member rank) to even stand a chance of getting into a BTC paying campaign as most campaigns don't accept anything less. You also have to deal with the loads of merit most campaign managers ask for as enrolment criterion.

YouTubers can give many sorts of advice, it doesn't make them all good to follow.

Joining this forum for the purpose of participating in just bounty is a misuse of the many opportunities that this forum offers in my opinion. There are other things that you can engage in in this forum that will be more of benefit to you in the long term like focusing on learning about bitcoins and other related things like trading.

No free lunch even with bounties. You have to work to complete tasks in bounties and wait for bounty manager or project team to proceed bounty reward to your wallet. Sometimes distribution never happens and your work will be wasted.

In the last one year, there is a trend of retroactive airdrop and you will have to do many tasks from testnet to main net, swap, trade, mint like a real user with on-chain transactions, and wait for project teams to assess your on-chain activities before sending you airdrop token.

I can agree with you with some points. Main reason behind this is because this is Bear market and all projects are scam and they don't pay and also in bull run people made insane amounts with almost 1000 dollars plus in one bounty too. So Signatures are good but they are paid to top tier players.

If we talk about a year and a half ago, it used to be a very good and lucrative reward. Almost as many bounty hunters sponsored good and strong projects, and their payouts were high. After the market crash last year, the launch of good and strong projects has decreased. At present you will find very few good projects on the bounty page. The projects that are there are paid in very small amounts and no substantial profit can be expected from their implementation. In the early days, huge sums of money were paid on projects,and the number of people participating in it was less. Now the projects raise less money, and there are a large number of participants, because of which good returns cannot be expected. Firstly, there are very few good projects and secondly, many projects are scams, there are many projects that pay in tokens, their tokens have no value in the market, thus Your hard work is wasted. There are also sponsors who get paid by the project, but they don't pay you on time and if they do, they pay you very little. So it is better to choose a good bounty hunter with good projects if you want to participate in bounty.

I don't have much experience in this matter. But what is certain is that to choose a good bounty, we must first research the altcoin projects promoted in the bounty. if it's a good project then even a running bounty will definitely pay out well. It will be better to learn about bitcoin and the forum and be patient to grow your account to earn from other better avenues in the forum. If you are patient and build your reputation in the forum, you will get more opportunities to learn from the forum. For now, let your focus be on learning and contributing to the forum.

You did the right thing by seeking the view of the community on this issue and not applying what you just git from a random YouTuber. Next time you should use the search option of the forum because the same equation has been asked over time, you are welcome to the forum.

Doing research before joining the bounty is a must because bounties are being used to scam people. It js very important to check the team's background and see if they are real and not copied from legitimate bounties. There are some scam bounties that looks like it is made by a professional but the truth is that it is a scam bounty and it's goal is to attract people to invest in their so called bounty which it is not.

Well, sorry to tell you this but the youtube video that told you to simply make account in this forum and then you can earn some money in bounty is oversimplifying how the forum works. Your new account cant immediately join any bounty, if I am not mistaken minimum rank for Altcoin bounty is Jr. Member and even those bounty mostly will not earn you any money, you need to find 1 or 2 good bounties among dozens of other worthless bounty. It will be easier when you reach Full Member, since you can join some Bitcoin paid campaign/bounty, but the grinding is not easy, and most of people who come here solely to earn money from bounty never reach that required rank, either they got banned or they just getting bored.

First step is to rank up first before you can participate on bounty campaigns, but ranking up here is not easy since you need to earn some merits before you can reach to certain ranks. Also don't expect to earn on bounty campaigns since most of the campaign posted are scams and will not pay their campaign participants so its a waste of effort if you experience this scenario. Also you need to research first so that you can learn a lot of things here especially on bounty and altcoin side.

 There are some bounty that don't pay there influencers or bounty participants that is why we need to be more careful when we are looking for airdrop or bounty we can participate in to earn some good tokens that could do well in the market.

OP, no matter what they write to you here, your own answer and your own solution will still be a priority for you. If you believe YouTubers who create such videos for their own benefit to boost their channel, you can easily try to participate in a bounty.

Many of the users, including me, came to the forum to participate in the bounty. But each at one time stopped or not, drawing conclusions for himself.

You want to join the best bounty and earn money? Gain some knowledge at least. Do some research. Gain information that will help you. You aren't just registering here, hoping that you can earn hundreds of bucks by joining some bounty campaigns out there. Just so you know, those bounty hunters out there are earning a few bucks joining in different campaigns. For me, it isn't worth my time especially if I have a job. I have this feeling that those who are joining in those bounty campaigns in bounty section are those people who don't have a real life job, and just hoping on getting some few bucks here.

You are correct, I don't believe that bounty is being discussed here. Since I have been reading through many posts, I have not come across any that mention bounty in this forum. From what I can tell, the topics that are discussed here are how to learn about cryptocurrencies and other related topics, such as buying bitcoin or running a signature campaign. Bounty is a campaign that involves social media and the earning of a token that is given to the bounty, but it is not discussed here. The only campaign that can earn you money on this site is signature, and before you can participate in any other campaign, you must first understand more about bitcoin and some other aspects of the cryptocurrency industry. This will give you the confidence to debate anything in the forum anywhere.

Additionally, in order to participate in a signature campaign, you must have merit. However, obtaining merit in a forum is not something that can be done quickly; you must first make a post or participate in a discussion that convinces other forum users to award you with merit. Without merit, I don't think  you will be able to successfully complete a signature campaign, so I advise you to learn more about the forum and become familiar with it before getting involved in any activities.

There is a big difference between sharing an anonymous account with limited influence and a YouTuber who has thousands of followers. These YouTubers can pay them in dollars or bitcoin and may pay them thousands of dollars, while they will pay you with some worthless tokens.
There are more than 1.8M Cryptos, and their marketing plans will not only focus on the forum, but also on YouTube, considering that everyone is it and even that most of the unique visits to the forum come from it.

There are have board with publishing about running campaign, OP allowed for participating in social media campaign, YT campaign until become content creator campaign, but need to push account activities because several campaign running right now have minimum activities allowed for participating in bounty campaign.

What was the year that youtube video was published? I think it wasnt published in 2022-2023, as we barely have bounties in general and in bounties we have, video campaigns are rare also.

In short, join any bounty, do tasks that are asked, wait for token dostribution, wait for token listing. Last two stages is when you might be scammed. Either you wont receive anything, or tokens wont cost anything. Dont create big hopes on bounty and rewards. As today, chances to earn are extremely low.

So your obsession with joining the Bitcointalk forum is just to get money from the Bounty Campaign? I do not recommend that you place the Bounty Campaign as your main goal in joining this forum. Open your eyes wide once you are here, you can take something more valuable than the Bounty Campaign.

It is not a bad idea to make money. I mean everyone needs money in order to take good care of themselves and the family, pay health care services and lots more depends on money. If you don't have money, you will not live a good life and your desire to make money is not a bad questure, but I have two things to tell you.

• Bounty hunting paid in the early days of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Currently there are a lot of scam projects and there is high tendency that you will work and they may not pay you.
• I've never visited the Bounty section which means there are many people that doesn't know the Bounty section and yet they earn here. You could decide to look the other way instead of the Bounty that brought you here.

Bounties are no longer profitable these days so I don’t suggest new members to participate in bounty hunting. Probably the one you saw in YouTube is just a heck of scammer that invites you to create an account and then he’ll  guide you along the way. If you really want to find out about bounties, then have your own research. Someone who deals in cryptocurrency trading should have at least a little understanding of the concept behind bounty campaigns. OP I will suggest you put effort in reading and learning first before thinking of bounty because if you had some that, you would be more enlightened and making choices for your start here would not be a thing of asking questions or this nature because in the course of reading you must have come across similar questions of this nature you have asked here.

Although there is nothing wrong if you want or decided to go for bounty hunting but just like other posters has said about it, that is the reality. It is sometimes not worth the stress and efforts. Some of the bounty projects sometimes turns out to be a scam and at there entire end, you are not paid for your services after your commitment and engagements. So it would be nice you  take your time to read through and build your capacity to contribute so as to grow in ranks and be more knowledgeable about Bitcoin. Not only that, you will have knowledge on how to avoid scam projects and also how to protect your assets and lots more you can think of in Crypto space.

There are more than enough bounties you can participate in, but then you have to know that this forum is not scam moderated, which means you need to make your research very well as much as possible, then know that whate transpired between you and any bounty campaign or organizations is at your own risk, quite alright some make money through bounties but they might not have told you the risk involved also.

Bounty is a part of the job that can make money for every participant who joins it because in it there are several campaigns that will be promoted according to the rules written on the bottom page. So, because every campaign has basic rules that have been written by the Bounty manager himself on the front page or the first page, every participant must read and understand these rules well before you or anyone who wants to join in and become part of the participants.

Do not be lured with everything you saw on YouTube. Some are just there to take an edge over your innocence and steal your money in the end. And take note, gone are the golden days for bounties. If there are several who do bounties these days, I don’t think they’re still profitable just like before. However, if you do it as your side hustle, that’s your choice. But never expect a lot from bounties, they may be tempting to our ears but never put all your trust into so you won’t be scammed in the end.

Correct. Does this youtuber had a link to this forum or had only referral link in video description. If this video was not a description on youtubers vision of any project, then the only goal he has followed was getting subscribers/views/referrals. OP can try to earn from bounty campaigns from this forum, but currently only way to earn here are running own service or participation in signature campaigns. Bounty campaigns are just the way to kill time, get familiar more with crypto and test luck.

The video that you saw on YouTube, was it new or old? Because bounty campaigns used to be profitable and worth the efforts, but those days are long gone, and nowadays, most of the bounty campaigns literally pay dust in the name of compensation for your efforts because they will pay you with their tokens and most of those tokens never even make it into the market and the projects die off either because of lack of marketing or a responsible team.

You can still join bounty campaigns and earn tokens but those tokens will barely be worth anything and you will just be wasting your time providing free promotion to the projects you are working for. This is the reason why a lot of bounty hunters stopped chasing bounties and started looking for alternative ways of earning money.

There are no many bounty currently because we are still in bear market, no know projects projects are coming out and even the new project launching Bounty now may be a scam project.I you may enjoy Bounty I think it may be that bull run period where many new projects are coming in,but still i am not sure can make good amount over there because my friends that introduced me to this forum his a Bounty hunter and it complain bitterly about the Bounty section look like nowadays because there to much cheater that uses multiple accounts, so members are always many this days.so I will not advise you to join Bounty because because my advise me not to also do bounty but be in the forum to build my knowledge in incase I latter have money to invest.

Oh is it those old videos revolving around the forum on how you can earn in this forum with ease? Yeah that like pre-2018 stuff now and many bounties in here are just going to be waste of time in your end. From my experience back in the days, 3 months of work just ended out to be just a rubble and even though I wasn't really expecting too much to earn, I could have put those wasted effort in freelancing in Upwork which I started out late.

I advise you to not rely in the forum for earning.

They are lazy to learn, work and find better jobs then they end with wanting to bet with bounties. At the ends, many times, they are disappointed by scam managers or scam teams or no value tokens they received even distributions made by project teams. They need to experience with many times of disappointment with Bounties before they can digest the lesson, don't join bounties.

They get good advice at beginning but ignore and decide to use their time and working efforts to explore facts behind bounties.

Getting financial profits from bounties are very barely seen. Most of time, bounty hunters are only abused by project teams.

Apparently this is applicable before maybe around 2017 to 2018 something like that since many ICOs have a lot of bounties and literally can earn pretty good money with that but however thats not the case now cause compared to before the activity now or campaign sounds scammish and very suspicious. Maybe there are some but that would be so minor to find.

Of a truth YouTubers make money from views but they promote scams too much making people to get into trouble and being scammed of their hard earned resources. They have been amongst the major reasons why scams occurrence is rising in the Crypto space. They fail to do their due diligence before taking on advertising or promoting a project. All that they care is their own pocket and stomach. They do not bother about the outcome of their engagement with their services. Imagine what OP had said earlier about the YouTuber talking about bounty payment and making money from it. Perhaps that was what made OP come here to getting registered so that he or she could start promoting the the project the YouTuber advertised on their channel.

This is how they are being tricked by this YouTubers into doing things that ordinarily, they should have not done without conducting a research on it but here the reverse was the case and I am happy OP was able to do the needful by reading about the platform and I also believe OP has been able to get more insight on how things are done here and also, the knowledge of specific bounty exercise how to making a research to spot fake projects and lots more.

This is a question or topic that keeps coming back and it always ends the same: right now it is not interesting anymore to participate actively in bounties. The golden years are gone and nowadays, if you are able find a legit and paying bounty, the chance that the token you receive will be worth anything, is very small. I did a lot of bounties when I was a newbie years ago and still have at least 30 coins in my metamask that are just collecting dust there lol

Considering my experience and information, l will not encourage anyone to engage in any bounty as it is generally a total waste of time and energy. One will not gain anything at the end of the day, and even if one does, it will be a very little and meaningless amount. So it better to look,  and work hard for something else that can count.

You can start acquiring knowledge by simply visiting the altcoin bounty board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0).  Read any bounty campaign thread and understand the task and requirement in order to earn from the campaign.  If you are thinking that bounty campaign is a quickest way to earn, you are mistaking, it often times the longest way to earn since many bounty campaign run for several months and requires another month for token distribution.  Between that you might find yourself unlucky if after 2 or 3 months of waiting, the token paid to you is worthless, worst the project you join is a scam.

You must be careful in choosing which project to join in and check their reward if the time, effort and payment compliment each other since most of the time, the payment for bounty is less than the amount of money you spend for your internet connection.

I have noticed that majority of the newbies who create their account in this forum are so inclined in joining bounties. I mean, I understand that you guys want to earn/make money but this method is not as effective compared to other methods in this forum.

Personally, I would recommend that you equip yourself with the knowledge about cryptocurrencies in order to gain merit. From there, you may join and participate in campaign signatures as they pay you weekly with cryptocurrencies.

They are using attractive/promising words in order to encourage viewers to invest in their promoted project. Indeed, that was their job but of course, it was your part to do research in order to validate if that was true or fake promotion. If could just think about the current situation, there are plenty of bounties in the market, and sad to say only a few of them are worth investing in while the majority are scams and useless projects. Joining the signature campaign was great since your learning and sharing your experience at the same time your are also earning a good amount on signsture campaign. But it wasnt really enough as a only source of inclme so i suggest to just make it a side hustle and find other source of income if you can.

Most of the people that do post on YouTube will only post because they need people to subscribe and they need views, so they will only talk about bounties that paid well, or when bounties were still paying well, they won’t tell anybody about the shit bounties that’s rampant on the forum currently, because they believe if they talk about it, then people won’t subscribe to their page, so they will rather lie and talk about the bounty that paid well even if the person didn’t participate in the bounty campaign. That's why I don’t really trust most of the videos I see on YouTube because most of them are fake and they are just looking for ways to make money.

Bounties do pay sometimes, but currently the bounty section is just full of shit and scam bounty campaigns. Yes, I also read that several members posted about the bounty situation in 2017. It looked very profitable until more accounts were finally exposed for cheating in the bounty campaign. the situation makes people greedy to earn more money which results in tremendous spam on forums.

A bounty is a process whereby someone who are involved in a particular bounty try as much they can to promote a signature campaign, so in what I have noticed so far is avenue of making their projects to be known,  and the management will have an option where you share the link of the project, in which it can be reddit and it can be Facebook and twitter and telegram, so on the process during this functions to promote the project after the end of the project they will be a specific amount that will be distribute and before then you have already accepted or abide on the rules and the regulations of the campaign.

by the way can you provide the link of the youtuber you are looking at as i am quite curious. altcoin bounty campaigns have been unclear for quite a long time, currently the majority of altcoin bounty campaigns are only filled with projects whose future is not clear, if you really want to make money through bounties on this forum then you have to focus on building your account reputation first and then increase your rank to at least full member then you have the opportunity to enter a signature bounty campaign that pays for bitcoin or some other good altcoin, it's difficult to grow an account at the beginning, but don't be discouraged.

True be told, there are many bounties because most of them are worthless. He only discussed all the conveniences and benefits for the sake of adding viewers to the videos he uploaded, but never discussed all the cheating that occurred in the Bounty Campaign.

Some bounties still profitable as much as they pay their participants - but I don't think bounty participants can expect a large payout after the bounty ends. Projects can change payment plans unilaterally if their project is successful - it happens in some cases.

They always treated hunters as begger this days, some campaign budget will be very small and the will required for a lot of Paticipate to carry out the campaign, sometimes the project manager will scam the hunter by distribution of fake coin. Even though their project is successful they still decide not to pay the hunter.

However, these days it's much harder to find projects that do so. I would not advise you to participate in a bounty campaign because there are no more reasonable projects available and you will be wasting your valuable time. You have a wrong start, You should first learn how to spot a good project to promote instead of learning how to participate in bounties, You will end up getting scammed for your time and effort, and like many bounty hunters complaining of working on useless projects.
It's very rare to see a project with good potential now than it was 6 years ago so focus on finding the right project to promote and don't be like a bot who just does bounty for the sake of doing bounties.

Not all bounty here is ideal some of them are just a waste of time and the participants don't get paid, unless the payment is BTC and if and only if the campaign manager is one of the reputable here in the community else just a waste of effort.
