Title: Accessible Programs for Aspiring Crypto Influencers.
Post by: Iamcrypticguy on August 31, 2023, 03:37:14 PM
Becoming a crypto influencer is often a challenging endeavor, requiring motivation, dedication, and diligence to build your brand. Often, you need a boost in the form of partnerships or to be part of a community to gain the necessary exposure to thrive.

However, a problem arises when it comes to finding the right community or program to partner with. This post is aimed at addressing that issue. Does anyone know of a program that could assist me in becoming KOL or someone with influence and doesn't have overly difficult requirements to fulfill? I'll be in the comment section

First what's your aim for wanting to be a crypto-currency influencer? And you have touched the main topic like what's your knowledge of crypto-currency. With the  remote nature of being an influencer or a content creator even though it's not exactly easy people wants to become and influencer or a content creator without first searching for knowledge. That's the first question to ask, you can have a mentor or some influencers that really motivates you, you should pick up notes from them, and just like everything great takes time you should not be in a hurry.

What do you know or what can you provide to the audience that you're trying to attract? A lot of these crypto "gurus" pop up during the bullrun. They usually become popular after making some correct predictions.

Do some stupid shit and post it on various social media platforms. That's what a lot of people do nowadays to gain some followers and eventually call themselves as "influencers".

Being a cryptocurrency influencer is mostly money incentivized motive, cryptocurrency means mostly altcoins and I would like to exclude Bitcoin in this context. They want to become an influencer to get more money passively and more easily from referral programs, affiliate earnings and trading fee commissions.

They can be paid to write articles, make videos, host livestreams that are ordered by altcoin project teams. With such money incentivize behind, you can not expect neutral reviews from influencers (scammers).
  • Bitcoin videos on Youtube....and a suggestion for our possible BCT channel. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5352653.0)

A true influencer I admire a lot is Andreas Antonopoulos with his technical guides, books and free videos on his Youtube channel.

So, In addressing this, first consideration will be, what is your fundamental knowledge in the crypto space and if you have none, I'll advice that you go for fundamental knowledge about the crypto space firstly. One of the major problem people have is that they just want to delve into crypto because they consider it to be lucrative industry but its not the best way to go.

Secondly, you can't be a KOL in everything about crypto, you need to carve a nitch for yourself, more reaon why the fundamental is elemental to your crypto journey. From the fundamental, you'll know what catches your interest and what you're passionate about, becuase in the days of the beers only the passion will sustain you.

I think it's the same for every crypto influencer out there, they all want to make money out of talking about their stuff, no more unadulterated talk or profound talk about why anyone wants to be a crypto influencer, money making is all there is to it and saying otherwise means you're lying. You don't really need a mentor but you can definitely check out other influencers that are doing good already in the space, analyze how they do their thumbnails, their video transitions and how to keep the attention span of their audiences because that's where the money is, that motivation and such comes automatically when your format finally works.

I think nobody gets your question judging by the comments I've seen so far. I believe you're asking if there's something like a platform or special program that recruits people who want to become KOLs or Influencers in the industry.

There's a thing called Bitget Builders, I've seen some of their posts on Twitter asking for interested persons to join in, and here's a link for that. https://www.bitget.com/support/articles/12560603796735. This could be a great start for you and it is a lot easier than the second option I'm going to recommend.

Secondly, you can opt to grow solo by yourself, like creating meaningful and educative content on social media platforms and when you attain some level of fame, you'll find big companies reaching out to you with endorsement deals and partnership offers.

Both are going to be profitable in the long run if you're indeed good at what you do. But I do hope you're knowledgeable in this field in order to excel.

I don't know about programs, but that's not how I imagine the process. I think a person needs to try creating content that will reach a significant audience on any social media platform, and the content doesn't even need to be crypto-related. The crypto stuff can come in later, gradually, if reaching an audience while making content centred on cryptos proves to be challenging. Then, once a person succeeds in that, sponsors can reach out and vice versa. It just doesn't make much sense for companies to invest in someone who isn't significant already when there are people who've already achieved something and thus already have a promising audience.

Are people really after this any longer as before, consider the rate at which you can trust these crypto influencers than not because they are mostly paid for what they say or do, i don't think we really need them to persuade us into doing things as against our wish, if we can give it time in learning and knowing about cryptocurrency with the in-depth knowledge of how we should make use of this digital currencies for our own benefits and satisfaction, we may not have to rely on what others have to tell us or say before we get convinced since we know what we are doing.

However, a problem arises when it comes to finding the right community or program to partner with.

For this reason and many more, anybody can accept an offer even from scammers to help in making promotion of what they are introducing because they are only doing their job to get them traffic and shill for them, but we are the ones involved in taking the risk if we got enticed by influencers, am not condemning them as the bad actors here, they the bad guys uses them to help spread the news about what they do.

You gotta know what you are gonna be talking about which requires knowledge of crypto, blockchain, and the news around crypto, especially the regulations and adoptions.
The one that I noticed about those influencers was that they invite people of their kind from the community.

Invite a crypto influencer to your podcast or maybe invite someone from this forum, I think this will be interesting. Although they may wanna remain anonymous, you can ask them to wear something to be unrecognizable.

I think you have to start somewhere first by creating your own account in any of the social media that you want and start creating contents. It all depends on the kind of influencer you want to be whether a cryptocurrency, gaming, gambling, comedy, music influencer etc.
You will need to focus on a particular aspect that people will know you for that particular thing. It is very important for you to decide now and start working on how to build your own brand and contents that will look exceptional to the community you are in. Also it takes hard works and consistency to achieve it.

An influencer shouldn't be motivated by just having partnerships but with the fact that he wants to educate people with or without monetary benefit. That's the hardest part of being an influencer because when you start to rely your motivation into money, you'll really have hard time of dedicating yourself.

You are already in the right community and this can be your foundation into building another community that's going to be after your name. It's not going to be an easy path but you have to do some test and strategies that will be part of your growth.

To be fair, not just for crypto, if you really want to involved yourselves in the world of being a influencer, it will take a lot of your time and even careful planning as you will promote your brand - and that is you.

However, a problem arises when it comes to finding the right community or program to partner with. This post is aimed at addressing that issue. For me there you are in the right community, not sure though if we encourage someone here to be a crypto influencer. But for us, if you stay here for a while and be a good community member then that is enough already. As for the requirements, as I have said, there is none. Perhaps just go around the community here, learn and understand. Best of luck to you.

Being an influencer I think is not as easy as it looks even though it can still be done but not all can do it.
Because looking at the conditions. besides the need for time, you need to have characteristics or powers or skills that are better than others so that it can be easier to become an influencer. in this case when the focus is on crypto you have to realize that there is actually no special program because I still feel that the ability is very supportive so that when you don't know anything about crypto and knowledge can still be said to be limited it won't be possible and actually I don't really like crypto influencers because seeing the current condition of influencers in crypto is only a mask to smooth out the initial plan such as giving directions for someone to follow himself to be in shitcoin with Dyor's frills even though it is for his own benefit.

If you aim at becoming a crypto influencer, do not let money be the only reason why you are interested in it, because many crypto influencers from the past have disappointed and lost the trust of their followers because they love money too much and will accept any offer to promote any coin even if the coin does not really have any strong background. So they receive money, and promote a coin that they are not even sure of, leading to many of their followers loosing money to these dubious projects. Also, in wanting to become a crypto influencer, also understand that you will be under the watchful eyes of the SEC and can be prosecuted for endorsing and promoting fake investment opportunities in cryptocurrency.

To be an influencer with a difference, you have to be more dedicated to securing and preserving the trust your followers will have in you, and not abuse that trust to manipulate them for financial gains.

Is there a school where people learn how to be influencers? I don’t think so. I think the key to being an influencer is providing content on a particular niche, and organically build a following. Once you have a niche carved out, and you know what you are doing, you just have to keep putting our content consistently, people who are interested will find you and refer other people to your page or channel. As for promotions, you can partner with other influencers in the space to gather more followers/subscribers. Cross promotion is the best way to grow a new account. When you have become established in the space, you can then be called an “influencer”.

I see sense in what you're saying. What if the OP has every requirement? In as much as they're bad eggs influencers there, it doesn't mean others who love helping others should fall in line. I know quite a few good crypto enthusiasts that are yet to explore and help others but they're kind of limited because they aren't KOL or anything related. What if they're given the opportunity?

If you plan to be an influencer, you can try to watch how influencer do their streams or blogs.  You also need to have knowledge or knacks for writing and creating content.  If you can't do video editing, you can find people with knowledge or partner with them.  You also need people who have knowledge of photoshoots and videography so that your raw shoot will look awesome. And the most needed is the knowledge of the field you are going to take.

Also please avoid click-bait stuff. This is frowned upon by people and you may lose followers and trust of people since you are not being true to them and tricking them to read your content through cheap tricks.

If I understand you right, those people have good content and narrative around them yet their followers are still not increasing. I believe it is just a matter of time then, since most influencer strongest advantage is their content. I do know content creators or influencer like Bitboy who are popular, but very controversial since he accepts ads left and right with so many controversial takes/action. I don't think that's what you should aim for. The first step is always make good content, post it, and then people will naturally discover you.

Certainly, it is a challenging task to become crypto influencer, but it is not impossible. In order to capture attention and influence your audience, it is essential to follow some necessary steps, such as educating yourself by gaining deep understanding of block chain technology, learning how to create quality content in the forms of articles or videos and engaging in various social platform like twitter, face book and discord to stay updated, and expand your social network through engagements with others.

Above all else, it is important to remember that genuine passion is the driving force behind achieving any goal in life.

Why do you even want to be a Crypto Influencers?

1. People make fun of them and they are clown.
2. They just want to rip of their followers by sharing shitcoins once a month.
3. They don't know shit, they copy content from small accounts and post that on their account.

So no, you don't want to be one of them.

I have no problem with that and if the OP has that requirement and he's going to do it I also have no problem but I'm not going to be there because I don't really like that kind of thing as for other people who want that then I don't have any verdict because it's their decision and I'm just carrying out my principles, because seeing from now on not all influencers especially in crypto are bad but the average of them is the same because they only want personal gain with the number of followers they have as their army.
Helping others is indeed a noble act and I appreciate that, but in something like this I think we realize that it's not easy and we have to look at ourselves whether we can do it or not because if it can be done then go ahead but if you can't and you don't have enough knowledge it could be misleading.

Before I became a KOL or ambassador, it's a tough road and challenge for me to begin with.

During the COVID-19 pandemic where I can't get out of the house for 2 months, I have started from scratch by slowly building my own Youtube channel. I started doing free interviews and project reviews.

It took me more than 6 months to gain ground after I am being consistent in doing content at least for once or few times a week. That's where I started gaining some sponsored videos until today and got opportunities as KOLs, ambassadors, etc.

The suggestions here are indeed better and more suitable for potential new influencers and if you have learned a lot, either through advice or through experience through your previous work. So don't forget to continue applying these good suggestions to your own work if you want to become a potential new influencer with an uncertain income.

And for the purpose of the program that is building on the exchange, it is about a direction that has more potential now in the exchange and it does not only revolve around crypto exchanges. Although it wouldn't be wrong if you continue to check crypto exchanges to see opportunities and possibilities that you can use now to achieve more profits in the future.

What you are trying to say is to make a shortcut by partnering into a reputable program so that you will be instantly reliable and reputable as well as a crypto influencer. Well, beware if your mindset is like that, because you might end up in a scam program rather than working on your own to build your own brand and boost the trust from your viewers. To be honest, I cannot recommend any of those. Just work it all by yourself and prove to the people that you are a worthy crypto influencer.

There's a lot you can do to become a crypto influencer, but it's not easy. It takes persistence to build your own brand, build your network with lots of followers and provide useful things for others. It's not easy to build your own brand, you also need a partnership with a well-known influencer and there will be a price for it all.
The ability to discuss crypto, provide your own analysis, create quality content and explain what is happening in crypto, all really have to be mastered. Influencers will be role models and they should know about everything related to crypto.

Well, it's an overly saturated market hence it's only expected to be extra difficult, that's why some people are resorting to unethical methods like inflating their numbers.

I can only say, try to look into your local communities, perhaps, the situation is a little better compared to the internatonal scene. Yes, you'll be halving potential audience but if it's not as saturated then perhaps, it'll be a bit easier to gain traction.

As for programs, have you tried playing with search engines? you could also look for general stuff and not just for crypto as I believe a lot would still apply.

Being a crypto influencer is a good way to earn money and the fact that it can be done remotely makes it a lot more attractive. The problem with this career path is that the market is saturated with scammers who are looking for opportunities to rip their followers or are constantly selling them on shitcoins that amount to nothing. These are the realities of the industry, but this can also be an advantage to OP, it will be a breath of fresh air to see a crypto content creator who is impacting knowledge to his followers and isn’t selling them an online course or crypto project.

Whats your purpose why you want to become a crypto influencer? give an agenda first, also what kind of skills do you have already, its good if you showoff your skills first in what field of crypto you want to join because today with the use of the different social media tons of newbie shows up and pretending they know already and become influencer giving a trash content, scam projects and just shill advertisement to gain money. You need to gain a reputation first before there's a partnership or 3rd party offering you services or getting paid by them. its not just an easy way you gain knowledge then after a week boom your an influencer already.

You have a good community here if you want to start your own channel since you can discuss with community on what topics they like to be featured on your channel.

Also don't expect that you can get a partner if you mean something that you can get a return since most of those people seek for famous guy to help them gain influence or something a beneficial to them. So start from scratch and gain some followers thru the contents you created since if your videos is engaging for sure many would provably watch your contents.

Sure, you make a valid point, but don't you think a program designed to assist startup influencers or individuals who want to become more involved in the crypto space is worth commending? After all, they would obviously offer support, mentorship, and more to make the journey easier imo
