Introducing the Bitcoin Penny® Painted Manhole Covers limited artwork series!

During the first year of the COVID pandemic, we were cleaning out the workshop when we stumbled upon five unused extra pieces from our legendary 2017 Manhole Cover summer project. (Read more about that epic project here.) (https://bitcoinpenny.com/pages/welcome-to-our-wtf-page)

After discussing this find with a few forum friends, it was decided that we should hand paint each one of these extra pieces in a unique style, then offer them for sale at a steep discount. (The originals are valued at more than 1 BTC now.)

Each of these hand-painted 2017 Manhole Covers began life as s a true, custom-made, authentic roadway manhole cover rated for actual use within the USA.

so your saying if we buy this for 0.25 btc we can take it and soak it in paint thinner and it will come out as an item worth 1.0 btc ?

Isn't this the proposition of art? You could also soak your valued paintings in paint thinner and come out with a lesser value.

Do these come loaded like the original ones?

How much for the wooden column? :D

The original Manhole Covers (1) are funded with a complimentary .01 BTC, (2) showcase an engraved copper plate on the reverse side, and (3) are finished with an "antique bronze" weatherproof powder coat.

These painted Manhole Covers are unfunded with no reverse plate, and they are each uniquely hand-painted.

I think that sums up the difference between the original version and this new limited edition version.

And as for the value, I feel highly confident that these hand-painted pieces will hold their values well into the future, just like our original 2017 Manhole Covers. :)
