If you are looking for exchanges with cheap listing then that means you don't really believe in your project. Good projects get listed without even giving any money to exchanges. Your impression you made here is that you have a copycat coin that you want to sell ignorant people to get rich quick.

So, what kind of token are we talking about here? Is there a real use case for it, or is it more of an idea without a product behind it? The first step would be to introduce the concept and your product to the relevant community, like the one here.  If the idea is solid and the token actually serves a purpose, it should gain traction naturally. Or are we talking about yet another useless "pump-and-dump" kind of shitcoin here?

You can have like signature or bounty campaigns, or have like twitter and other social media campaign here in the community. You can hire someone to take care of it for you.

As for the exchange, not sure about it, maybe you have to go to some exchange and ask them directly. Of course, if you are looking for the cheapest, then most likely it could be just second tier exchanges.

Are you kidding right now,  because I have not heard anything like listing fees for exchange for a long while now,  I thought coins/tokens get listed without any fees and in most cases what is required for the coin to get listed on too big exchanges is the coin potentials and the ability to prove to exchange that it will be a good project if and when listed.

Any exchange that takes fees from projects to list their coins is not legit at all since scam projects could easily pay the fees just to get their coin listed and thereafter do an exit scam on the coin holders.

Some exchanges including binance list coins or tokens for free if the project is so good and is not scam after being subjected to their eligibility criteria. The question is what is the internet of your project? Or is it one of those which is created to make money off other users?

Another way is to gain traction through the likes of Uniswap, pancakeswap and if your project attracts enough numbers or hype then it would catch the attention of Big exchanges.

You can do ads, referral, conduct a bounty campaign which includes social media campaign (youtube, twitter, facebook, tiktok, etc.). There's actually a lot of ways to do token promotion, it will surely gather investors as long as the idea or use of the token. And of course, the number of investors will always depends on how people see the potential of your token.

I think many projects promote there project and they use different platform for promotion some time project announced Airdrop and they launch a bounty project many user work there and promote there project.

Top exchanges as far I know, charges huge amount to get them listed, again, if my memory serves me right,  could be around 1 BTC.
But this is way back around 2017-2018. So for sure listing in top exchanges like Binance could have hefty sum of money.


Exchanges take fees because it's business though, I mean it's like they are the facilitator, so as a project, you will used their name to have your coin on them.
So it's mutually exclusive, exchanges facilitate you pay them, you used their trading platform. Your project them will be exposed to traders.
Maybe in the beginning, this project doesn't have any money to list to top exchange that's why they chooses the cheapest, but for me, this is not good practice.
Better to start your foot in a good exchange regardless of the fees because for sure you can get it back.

You can promote your token through various ways. There have been some answers like making your own campaign in this forum. You can also start to build engagement to the public by offering incentive task for anyone who participated in your campaign.
There are some like zealy or something else which will also help you in increasing the engagement from your project to the public. You can consider this as one of option to promote your token.
Listing your token to the exchange site can also give you a lot of demands to your tokens.

As far as i know that the cheapest exchange site must be dex. You just need to provide liquidity for that. If this belong to the cex and my answer will be MEXC

Yes thats how a project can get a maximum promotion by being list on top notch exchange and thats a hell of a marketing already. No need to boost it on social media cause followers or users will probably check on you. But only handful of these projects can get that kind of promotions.

Actually I like with token listing in Hotbit but this exchange have stop operation and looks Gate.io are similar exchange like Hotbit and have cheapest listing fees than bigger exchange like Binance, Huobi or Kucoin. I'm not sure but there are plenty of them. There are even those exchanges that won't require you any fee as long as you've got a good community that will support the project and listing can be done through voting.

As others say, bounty campaign is the cost effective and easiest way to promote here and outside this forum. You will pay your participants at your own chosen payment options. Bounty hunters are more interested on rewards with value, for sure your bounty campaign will have a lot of participants if you choose a campaign which offers fiat payment. I don't have any idea of the current pricing of centralize exchange listing fees but as far as I know, listing it on decentralize exchange is way cheaper but you have to provide liquidity for your token.

If the token has no budget, then no one needs it and its fate will be to be found on some low-liquidity exchanges, where the trading volume of your token will be $100 or less. It takes a lot of money to do that. You can run ads on social media platforms, run bounty and signature campaigns here in the forum, pay streamers and influencers to plug it in during their posts and streams and stuff, and there are a lot of other ways. However, from what you've written, I don't think you have a full-fledged project that has a native token and you want to promote the project, but it's probably a meme coin you created only so that you can earn some money by listing it on an exchange and creating some hype through free or cheap promotions and making people buy it.

If what I'm suspecting is true and it is just a token you've created out of nowhere and now you want to promote it so that people buy it in the hope of getting good returns, it's most probably not going to work out. Thats true. What more for projects with greatest achievement on both right? Strong on fundamentals and technical but also active on social marketing. Ive known a lot of these projects and its hard to get free tokens on them since they are gonna be swarmed by people and community. Example of these are layerzero, starknet and zksyncs. How little capital do you have? Because marketing costs alone are quite expensive and it can't be done just once or twice, consistent promotion is needed. hiring influencers, managing groups etc. That's all to reach more new users. The capital is quite large and if you really want to develop Token AI you need several teams of developers who are experts in their fields. But if it's just self-development, then there's no good interest, and it will slowly be abandoned.

Yes quite fishy that OP have generated a coin and still wanders how to promote it and its listing. A plan althroughout the project or roadmap is necessary for a coin to be promising 'coz if it will just be just to say that you  are running a project for your own ego, then that would be a bad thing. Others already have mentioned about bounty projects to answer the concern with regards to promotion of a coin. 2nd with listing, for sure it won't be in an instant especially with centralized platforms or exchanges which might require things. Also, to gauge the risk; if it would be listed, will it have enough popularity and demand for people to buy it? 'coz as we all know, if it won't meet such feat, then expect an instant drop.

You have to invest in marketing to promote your token, but that is not all. To rely only on marketing to make a token successful is a very dumb idea. The backbone of your project must be the token itself, the utility it will have for its adopters and the community. Your token must bring an innovative concept the market hasn't seen yet. Then it worths to promote the token, because you will have a positive content to spread about it through blogs' articles, videos, banners and social medias posts.

Remember that your goal isn't to make people see your propaganda, but to desire consuming the product you are advertising.
