We want to make Bitcoin more accessible and easier to use, and are looking for people to test and give us feedback. Features: - Sending, easy as a text: Make instant payments straight to your phone contacts, whether they use the app or not - More privacy: Using Stealth Addresses, each payment creates a new single-use address, making your payments much more private. - Secure by default: Multiple backups have you covered, with more recovery methods like social recovery in development. - Despite being easier to use, it's completely non-custodial. I am not seeing this new wallet is an open-source based one. It means you may end up installing a malware along with/without a bitcoin wallet which may compromise your personal data. All I emphasize here is, just do not target only $20 but you must take all pre-cautionary measurements against possible malware injection. I have used many wallets, and almost all of them were completely easy. It would be interesting to test a new one which pretends to be even easier. Now I can't even imagine how a mobile wallet can be easier than the apps which are currently most widespread.
I have an iPhone and an iPad. I'd rather use iPad for this test. Is this possible? Or your test is for iPhones only? A heads up: a major USP of this wallet is being able to send to your phone contacts. And the Testflight is currently gated by phone number. So you'll need a phone number to test. Since many of you are privacy conscious, I'll add this doesn't have to be your personal number — you can use a service like https://anonymsms.com/. I have been using it for long without issues, so I believe it can test your bitcoin wallet. If this is one of your target devices then I'm ready to test your bitcoin wallet and give feedback/review.
