Title: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing?
Post by: Tiger420 on September 18, 2023, 04:24:27 PM
Currently, the price of Bitcoin continues to increase. Today the price of Bitcoin is 27000$. It is assumed that the price of Bitcoin will increase further in the future. Many people want to know why this Bitcoin price is increasing. There are several reasons behind the rise in the price of Bitcoin. I mentioned some important reasons:

1. Much Demand: Bitcoin has become more popular among users. This is one of the reasons for the increase in the value of Bitcoin.

2. Supply : The supply of bitcoins is limited (21 million) and new bitcoins have to follow strict procedures to generate them. This in turn increases the value of Bitcoin.

3. Media : Bitcoin news, events, policy changes, etc. Journalistic events influence the price of Bitcoin.

4. Technology : Bitcoin uses a blockchain technology, which is reliable, secure and provides maximum security.

5. Investment: Bitcoin's value increases through various individuals, companies, and pneumatic investments.

The combination of these fundamental factors has led to the rise in value of Bitcoin. Also distribution limits and mainstreaming means that Bitcoin's supply mechanism affects the mainstream price on the upside.

In anticipation that the FED will pivot? No rate hike they say.  Or it could be retracing back to $31k to try a breakout. Yuletide season is coming though and it usually goes up every holiday.

There are just so many fundamental factors now like Gas going up to $150 per gallon. The last time the gas price went berserk was the time when Russia-Ukraine started and the price of BTC also rocketed so it could be possible.

In other news, water is wet.

This is like those typical threads that have been posted a thousand times already, with the difference just being today's price (you even got the price wrong; bitcoin is already $27k+ by the time you posted this).

The price of Bitcoin has been static for several weeks now,.hovering just above $25k and below $30k

4. Technology : Bitcoin uses a blockchain technology, which is reliable, secure and provides maximum security.
The blockchain is only as secure as the protocol that is adopted. Many projects rely on other algorithms that are not reliable or secure, Bitcoin uses PoW which provides optimum decentralization and security.

The bitcoin price increase is much connected with the increasing interest on bitcoin from the institutional investors. Several applications from institutions include BlackRock, Fidelity, Cathie Wood's, ARK, 21Shares. The next deadline is Oct 16 and we can expect the market to experience similar scenario till date. By the time court might once again postpone the decision.

Another reason is the bitcoin leaving the exchanges. According to the experts bitcoin leaving the exchanges were considered as bullish signal. When bitcoin continue to leave exchanges there'll be strong impact on the price.

It's like your saying that whenever the price of Bitcoin surges, yes the demand is higher and when it's down then it's lower.

That's a typical and generic thing that we can say when there's such movement in the market but it is not wrong as well. But there should be a main reason why there's a surge.

Like a news where it always drives the prices up or down depending on what kind of news is that.

The SEC has a lot of time to delay the ETF until 2024. Those deadline is nothing but just a date that being use by some traders to create some hype. This is not a solid basis for price increase considering that Bitcoin price dump to 25K last few weeks and we are already recovering from that since buyers is bagging cheap Bitcoin.

Another reason is the bitcoin leaving the exchanges. According to the experts bitcoin leaving the exchanges were considered as bullish signal. When bitcoin continue to leave exchanges there'll be strong impact on the price.

This true if those Bitcoin will go on non custodial wallet of holders since this is a sign of less potential sell pressure or less sell wall in the order book. This shows that Bitcoin holder is confident on the price of Bitcoin that will pump in the future that’s why they are holding their coins out of trading reach

The combination of these fundamental factors has led to the rise in value of Bitcoin. Also distribution limits and mainstreaming means that Bitcoin's supply mechanism affects the mainstream price on the upside.
These listed factors are not new to Bitcoin, and many people already know all of them; moreover, they are some characteristics that make Bitcoin unique compared to other coins.
The bitcoin market is not predictable, and this price increase might be a result of demand to buy and hold bitcoin, especially as people see that the price has been below 26k for a while, and as Bitcoin halving is fast approaching, the price is expected to start to go up so that we can achieve another all-time high.

I say it's recovering from its prior losses, no thanks to spacex's sale of their bitcoin holdings for some reason. Add to that the fact that the price of bitcoin is slowly recovering from the anticipation of the people to the upcoming halving for next year as we are coming ever closer to 2024, and you get this slow price increase that we're having right now. It's not enough to push the people's hearts into actually investing, but the movements are more than enough to recover the lost confidence from prior months when the bear market came through.

Many people want to know why this Bitcoin price is increasing.

I guess I'm different. I'm curious how did the bears managed to keep the price this low for this long. The halving is almost upon us, ffs! (And the speed of fiat value going down we already know, I hope).

Now some potential answers to your actual questions. Not necessarily correct (!), however:
* traders started leaving the sun, waves and margaritas and moving their arses back to work; after the slow summer ends, the price gets back to normal (i.e. up, in this case)
* miners get somewhat bigger rewards and allow themselves sell cheaper
* some big players are manipulating the price like hell until they fill their coffins

Bitcoin price will always increases because of its increase in value, then also we can consider the attached values with the rate of increasing market demands and supplies, same also do we have it adoption increasing everyday, what people cherish and accepts will always attract their interest because they cannot do without making an investment in it, knowing that bitcoin is a volatile cryptocurrency, it has every potentials to make one hold and increase their asset worth and value, also to retain their investment property on a profitable digital currency like bitcoin.

we can’t say it is price increasing but price is trying to maintain a level close to 50-day and 200-day moving averages which is around the $28K. We can say that the RSI confirms this, but I do not think that there is enough momentum to maintain these levels, so perhaps it is the beginning of us leaving $25k to reach $22k, and not an upward trend, in general, to see what will happen by the end of the month.

The real confirmation is seeing prices at $32,000, while any price below that is a sign of an upcoming correction.

Yes, the media do talk about Bitcoin but it's mostly in the negative sense they do. The media look set to strangulate Bitcoin growth as they're often reluctant to hype any positive news on Bitcoin but hasty to loud and expose anything negative about Bitcoin.

I guess I'm different. I'm curious how did the bears managed to keep the price this low for this long. The halving is almost upon us, ffs! (And the speed of fiat value going down we already know, I hope).
I think the whales are trying to take out liquidity to the upside by trying to push price down. It's a game they love to play whenever the market looks aligned in one direction. The sentiment is bullish. With what's happening currently, price should be heading up with the ambience of halving around the corner but why this isn't happening shows that whale strength. I don't want to call it manipulation but it isn't short of it.

Ahh, I was expecting something else but it seems like, OP is creating one of the most redundant topics ever with a new title. I would like to ask OP if the points you've mentioned here are the reason behind the current market value these points are almost static in every timespan so why BTC market consolidate and take dumps, from time to time? As on those times as well these points were same.

Where are the market sentiments affecting the market gradually, and where is the narrative support behind it? I can ask plenty of questions on it as the topic doesn't hold any semantic and substantial load in it. I may have admired the post if OP had mentioned some recent developments that might get skipped from many other users, any on-chain activity report, and anything that should at least meet the time zone.

The points listed by OP are just general observations used to explain to a newbie why bitcoin has increased but this can’t be the actual point at this moment. Things like market sentiment or even the news that Mt.Gotx are ready to return investors hacked funds could have been better in this particular case. Not so many cases I would say that is causing the move that warrant a thread other than side way movement by investors either selling or buying due to the up coming halving

They might partly be but not the main . The main is that it's getting more acceptable  and people keep hoarding it leading to its scarcity which eventually pumps the price.
However,  we have halving around the corner more hoarding has started  as they expects bitcoin price to rice after the halving that's make a 2x scarcity though it will drop a little bit after but according to its new price not as it old price. And currently i don't think it has started moving up but in no time there will be some massive changes and outcome.

I like your energy OP and I commend your efforts I'm still new in this too

I don't see any positive vibes right now. The movement you have seen is just the result of normal trading. There is no significant pump; you can see it's been dumping right now. So there is nothing special here to pump Bitcoin. The reasons you mentioned are very old and common. When demand increases, the price pumps. But the current small pump is because of traders; if there is no volatility, then traders won't make money. Just be realistic and watch the movement.

I got quite curious too about the speed at which it's price was going up. I was even expecting to see in the news that a whale had purchased a large sum or another spot ETF application was approved as such a thing was experienced when Grayscale ETF approval was granted. ATM, Bitcoin price is hovering around 26k and 27k. With exact price at 26,869.60.
Bitcoin has always been unstable and volatile so if it's high today, it shouldn't be that surprising. Many are expecting a bit stable price, especially as the halving is getting closer.

Permit me to digress a little but then, you’ve got so many activities and still stock as a Jr. member. This made me dive right into your profile and posts to see why and the evidence was right in plane view. Your spending way much time running bounties than you should have. Isn’t that time consuming for you? Chasing after worthless coins and tokens. You would do yourself more good if you shift your focus from the bounty section and be more involved in other aspects of the forum.

3. Media : Bitcoin news, events, policy changes, etc. Journalistic events influence the price of Bitcoin.
The media haven’t been exactly pro bitcoin by crafted the news. You find them being more negative in other to entice the government and cover the truth or aspects that could really project bitcoin potentials. Someone, all the negativity leads to doubt and research which eventually breaks the truth and you find more investors pouring in.
Creating a demand and supply curve which is very much appreciated.

5. Investment: Bitcoin's value increases through various individuals, companies, and pneumatic investments.
I’m not sure on what message your passing on this one.

I'm still wondering what the heck the price of Bitcoin is doing down here at this point sitting at a cheap price of $27k and below $30k, but I sense that a Major contributor to this is that the Fed is tightening up the printing rate and is no longer printing money as before,  thereby shrinking the liquidity that is supposed to flow into the market and drive the price way up.

It seems that you overlooked the geopolitical situation. More and more individuals see bitcoin as a hedge against global economic volatility and currency depreciation. In nations where prices soar and economies collapse, individuals turn to decentralised assets like Bitcoin. Maybe that's too complicated for a simple analysis, though.

Well, well, look who's turning into a Bitcoin scholar. I would have expected a little bit more depth given the massive 2 merit and over 2000 posts. Hey, not everyone is a specialist, is they?  ::) ::)

Bitcoin's price has been increasing for 10+ years at this point. Of course there are dumps and moment, like this, where the price is still below the previous ATH but whoever bought bitcoin before 2021 for sure is in profit. And those who are currently taking a loss just need to be patient, don't sell, and sooner or later they are going to be in profit as well. The reasons behind bitcoin's price increase are always the same at the end.

Will we see another major correction again? It's hard to know, but forks cause volatility, But, I believe because Bitcoin is much more stable than altcoins and there are many other trading influences on the price.

Yes. I hope BTC continues to increase.

3. Media : Bitcoin news, events, policy changes, etc. Journalistic events influence the price of Bitcoin.

The number of bitcoin is not increasing everyday means that it is limited so whenever people become more interested towards its investment then price moves in positive direction. I think that bitcoin success is spreading all over the world therefore the demand for it cannot decrease but it will increases because people are examining its success from past years.

When there is some fake news about bitcoin then price also changes but it is for shorter time because people trust in bitcoin and about its recovery. Some people leave bitcoin but the reason is not Bitcoin's failure but its the misunderstanding of those individuals who don't understand it and initiate bitcoin investment so in this case they not only loss their money but also make their life worst.

It is not known exactly whether there is any reason behind the increase in the price of Bitcoin, but we can imagine that the price of Bitcoin will increase constantly. While the price of science is likely to rise further from its current position, various studies suggest that Bitcoin will go higher than its current position. We can say for sure that Bitcoin will change in the future and we will see it. As the price of Bitcoin is increasing and its popularity is increasing day by day, we can definitely say that in the future people will buy more Bitcoins and the demand for Bitcoins will increase. The price of Bitcoin will increase mainly because there is no new supply to the market, but because Bitcoin is limited, the number of Bitcoin investors will increase and the demand for Bitcoin will continue to increase.

The number of wallets with 1 BTC is increasing. This is good for the market. This shows that Bitcoin distribution is happening proportionally. I can say that as a result of the proportional distribution of Bitcoin distribution, price volatility will also decrease. The increase in the number of wallets holding Bitcoin is a positive development for the crypto ecosystem and positively affects the Bitcoin price. But as long as the Bitcoin price does not stay above 27.700$, there is no need to get excited about the market. Because the 200 day moving average passes through the 27.700$ level. If BTC will be permanent above this price, then we will be talking about a bullish scenario.
It is also necessary to focus on Wednesday. The FED interest rate decision will be announced on Wednesday but i do not expect any surprises from the meeting. After Wednesday, the market will be on track.

The increasing demand for Bitcoin is undeniable, with more users recognizing its potential as both a digital currency and an investment. This growing popularity is undoubtedly a driving force behind its price escalation.
That is a general impulse that can occur gradually in digital currencies and also investment in digital currencies, but if I may explain it is more about the interest of many people in Bitcoin and the potential contained in it because Bitcoin always has better potential than other cryptocurrencies. So this influence occurs due to everyone's interest starting to increase when they learn about Bitcoin and ways to invest in it for the future.

Media coverage and events related to Bitcoin play a pivotal role in influencing its price. News, policy changes, and journalistic events can create significant fluctuations in the market, attracting both traders and investors.
Traders and investors will only be interested when they see favorable events and policy changes for the better towards Bitcoin. Because they all won't be that interested when they often see bad news that continues to be in the media involving Bitcoin, because news from any media can still be a very strong influence on many people's interest in something, including Bitcoin too. So everyone definitely hopes for good things in everything you mentioned.

The op listed very general reasons of why Bitcoin price can rise. In my opinion, demand and supply should be one point because they are interrelated. As for the media, it's a huge influence on the price, but it can both lead the price up and down. Blockchain technology isn't something I'd least as a cause of price changes because it remains largely the same while Bitcoin undergoes major evaluation changes. Finally, investment is a part of the demand to me, so also not something I'd mention separately.
And regarding this particular situation of the rising price, it was pointed out in the thread that it's probably related to Fed being unlikely to loosen up the financial policies (lower interest rate) any time soon.

While your analysis of why Bitcoin's price is soaring isnt entirely flawed, it fails to consider the very volatile nature of it. You mention much demand, but do you have any idea how much of that is fueled by pure speculation? People hear about the rise, they rush to buy, and they inadvertently push the price up more. Its a cycle, and its unsustainable.

About supply yes, its limited. But the concept is often misconstrued to mean that the value will inevitably go up. Did you forget about the demand curve? If demand vanishes, a limited supply wont matter.

Media's role? True, but misleading. The media can just as easily tank the price with negative reports.

Then, mentioning Investment and Technology as separate points without analyzing market manipulation or regulatory changes is downright naive.

Well and with that then we here can only do some analysis that we can and believe to help find the right decision in terms of buying at the right time period. And well I also don't want to miss this opportunity, now the price is spinning in the $27k area after rising from its sideways phase in the $25k range, and obviously this is the right time to increase the amount of your bitcoin, I also bought some when the price was still at $25k and with indications that now bitcoin is really as predicted, namely experiencing an increase, I will again increase the amount I have.

Yes that's right, many variables have become reasons that have driven price movements, I think if we can master the various potentials and opportunities that we get from several trusted sources then surely we will be a little superior to others who are just patient and waiting, because it's like we create opportunities for us to take and take advantage of ourselves. But well it will not always be accurate, so it is very true as you say that use the money that you can bear if in the end it does not match your expectations (loss).

Even as bitcoin's popularity increases, it is still a financial market and will always be volatile. There is no sustainable financial market that only increases and does not decrease. Furthermore, if the price of bitcoin does not fall below $30k, how do we have a chance to buy bitcoin at a low price to sell at a high price?

The increasing demand for Bitcoin is undeniable, with more users recognizing its potential as both a digital currency and an investment. This growing popularity is undoubtedly a driving force behind its price escalation.
yet, the price maintain its value over 20k and not even getting closer to 30., which means the price is stagnant up to now for how many months already.
Quote
Media coverage and events related to Bitcoin play a pivotal role in influencing its price. News, policy changes, and journalistic events can create significant fluctuations in the market, attracting both traders and investors.
you did not mentioned FUD that damages the running everytime.
and the changes as well.

So what are you expecting from bitcoin? Do you want bitcoin to immediately increase to $100k and then $1 million, $10 million without any correction?
where did you get that idea that someone expect from bitcoin that much IMMEDIATELY? I believe that what i said is just how bitcoin moves now?

what I as  imposing is that Bitcoin is still in its low and that is a opportunity to purchase more while its cheap.

Quote
Even as bitcoin's popularity increases, it is still a financial market and will always be volatile.
again none of us can take the volatility of bitcoin because it is the nature and if that change to non volatile then this is a useless product/currency .

There is no sustainable financial market that only increases and does not decrease. Furthermore, if the price of bitcoin does not fall below $30k, how do we have a chance to buy bitcoin at a low price to sell at a high price?
lol there are many who can buy even if its above 30k because many of us who truly believe in its value and future , and as long as we believe that this can grow , we will keep buying even if it grows to 6 digits already.

You mean bitcoin will become useless if it becomes stable? I disagree with your statement because Satoshi created bitcoin to be a currency, he never said it would become the volatile asset it is today. We have turned it into a volatile investment and there is no denying that more and more people are attracted to bitcoin because of its volatility. But even if it becomes stable, if it retains its decentralized nature it still has a lot of other use cases, it won't become useless if it becomes stable.

Honestly, one of the main reason why most establishments or any company won't accept Bitcoin as payment or salary is because of its volatility. A lot of concern we heard about that stuff, but does it mean that Bitcoin is useless? I don't think so.

If we go back at the beginning of Bitcoin, if it was made as a stable currency, there is no difference from any other stocks which is in my opinion won't attract many investors.

But we are in the modern day, we have to accept that establishments and company prefer stable coin (only if it's Bitcoin), there's no way Bitcoin become stable coin but I assure you that its volatility will be lessened in the future.

I think there are only one reason why btc price rise, it is supply and demand. normally there are two reason that influence the demand, the first one is the growing number of adoption which make steady increasing price of btc, there is no volatility in it. the second one is the speculative investors, this factor is what makes btc price volatile because they make big number of fund come in and out from btc market, they make temporary demand. the main reason which influence the supply is the halving event, as there is no central authority who control btc price (by create fiscal policy or etc) then halving event will have big influence in btc price. but that's just my opinion.

This is the time of Bitcoin selling. Maybe the Bitcoin can come down again because sometimes the Bitcoin gives you a surprise. Today bitcoin prices are going down but not more than enough, which is good for some people and some people don't have with this.

In theory, the value of all assets is determined by supply and demand, but for some financial markets, there is unavoidable manipulation behind it. Therefore, the increase or decrease in bitcoin price is not completely determined by supply and demand.

Regarding the volatility of bitcoin, I agree with you that part of it is caused by speculators but another cause is the manipulation behind it. Market makers create volatility, on the one hand they profit from it, on the other hand they create attraction for people. Those who enjoy the thrill of a roller coaster ride will never miss bitcoin's volatility, and it's how the market attracts new participants.

I still think that selling Bitcoin when the price is falling is a mistake, because surprise price increases always exist in Bitcoin so I still prefer to sell Bitcoin when the price increase has occurred and even while it is happening. Because Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that should not be sold carelessly at uncertain prices, but if someone prefers to sell Bitcoin when the price is down, I will not say he is wrong because maybe he needs money that is not in the form of Bitcoin for himself.

Some of us and indeed in general, profit is always the main goal of what we are aiming for, which means it is true that selling in the low area is a mistake.

Selling bitcoin according to your analysis plan is the best decision, and I think all investors will also definitely take the same action because again profit is always our main goal here. Now therefore it is very important to pay attention before you jump in there you have to prepare money that will not be used by other needs, or in essence you have full responsibility for whatever happens to your money later, with that I am sure you will not feel too pressured by all the price fluctuations that occur there, and with that it will be calmer to do a long-term hold, but yes even so if there is an urgent need as you said then even though they get a low price it is very likely that you will still sell it, there is no other solution than that and it is natural that they do it.

If anyone knows basic maths and economics, then definitely he himself can figure it out, why the price of Bitcoins are increasing. Yes the points mentioned in the OP plays an important role to increase in the price, but I am sure many of us have already know about this or have seen similar types of information lot many times. If you want to summarise whole thing, then it would like, due to the limited amount of supply of Bitcoins, the price goes up when the demand to acquire it increases. And the demand increases when various external sources influence the people.

While understanding why something happens is without a doubt important, sometimes it is important as well to not try to dig too deeply about it as you are not really going to find a definitive answer to your question, the price moves because of the supply and demand, so if the price is increasing is simply because the demand went up, the supply at exchanges went down or both, now you could go further than that and ask why it happened? But when the price moves due to the influence of millions of people all around the world then finding an answer to that question seems impossible.

and simply put it, the supply and demand is the main driving force of why the price of BTC is behaving such direction. as we have fixed supply of this currency, and more and more people are going into this market, there's no doubt that we will experience this increase. various stakeholders are already trying to get a hold of this currency, because of its potential. start to worry if you haven't heard anything about crypto anymore. but so far, we are still heading to the positive direction.

It's not as if the price jump was so sudden, because definitely people are already expecting a spike in price, but yet there's not much of a significant increase; even upon reaching $27k as of two days ago, it still retarded back to $25k+. Bitcoin usually has some factors that contribute to the price spike, and it could happen so suddenly, as some investors don't expect. Like towards the end of this year, I predicted bitcoin to be trading around $40k or $50k, but here we are already in the 9th month, with just three months left to end the year, and bitcoin is still trading around $25k. Well, let's see what will happen in the month of November.

To state the obvious, Bitcoin's price is increasing because big companies are investing in it. Not to mention, the halving is nearly 6 months away. Your post basically explains why Bitcoin is such a hot topic right now. While prices are relatively stagnant, I believe it shouldn't be long enough before BTC reaches a new ATH. That's assuming the global economy starts to recover at a slow and steady pace. If the economy worsens, don't expect market prices to rise anytime soon.

I really hope Bitcoin becomes independent from mainstream events so that people could use it more as a currency. I'd be surprising to see BTC "heading north", when all of the other markets (stocks, bonds, equities) are going all the way down the drain. If that happens, the world will adopt Bitcoin as Fiat's replacement faster than you could've ever imagined. Who knows how lucky we'll be by the time this happens? Just my opinion :)

But if evaluated realistically, that will never happen because everything that wants to exist must be closely linked together, no entity can exist without being related to the world economy. Bitcoin exists and develops thanks to human needs and humans are part of the world economy. They are all interconnected, we cannot expect bitcoin to grow alone.

Furthermore, even we ourselves are discussing bitcoin price every day, we hope it will increase in price to make profits. I don't think bitcoin will easily replace fiat and become a currency because even bitcoin advocates only see bitcoin as an investment.

Yes, it went back again to $26,++, I thought that we have the momentum to reach at least $28k again for this month. But as we have said, the price is really volatile that we can't really say where it's going.

But for now we have like 2 weeks for this month and again, the price might go on a sideways again. The biggest barrier is $30k so, so for me, I don't see it reaching $40k-$50k at the end of the year. Maybe after the block halving we will see that price but not for this year.

That is definitely the way to go, it allows you to make as much profit as you possibly could from it. I understand that it is not going to be easy or anything like that, but it is definitely possible to make it happen. I personally hope for the best in order to make as much profit as possible but that doesn't mean that it will be possible for a long term to not face any difficulties neither.

When you face a difficulty like that, the best thing to do would be ignoring them and focusing on your strategy, do not change up just because you see some changes, or if you have something ready for them use that, but do not suddenly get scared and sell just because it went down. That's a wrong move without a doubt.

It is now dropping under 27k to 26.6k

mostly due to lots of bears leveling price.

As I see BTC in this slot of 25k-31k

It reminds me of gold in the 1991-2003 time slot

200-400 usd price range was locked in for more than 10 years.

BTC may be slotted for months to come.

As of yesterday it was trying to confuse us that is going up and never coming back to $25k (which I pray never happens) but it later stopped at $26k all the way from $27k, I still don't have any clue why the sudden drop of price but is like something is about to go down, in the positive aspect.
Maybe by the end of this week it might go back to $27k without drastically coming back down to $25. Let's forget prediction and accept it the way the prices come in and expect a huge amount next week, I hope.

The resistance level are still strong and it doesn’t confuse many because its expected after trying many times, probably this is not the right time for the breakout but at least Bitcoin is trying and we are trying to beat the record last Month. DCA is still the best option to do right now because the market is unpredictable and we have to make sure that we are catching this cheaper price for us not to miss any opportunity, Bitcoin will rise in time and let’s hope for that before the end of the year.

We already know that these factors contribute to the rise in the price of bitcoin, but I'm not sure how this relates to the $27k price of bitcoin from yesterday.

What would you say about the current fall in price from $27k to $26+ if this were your own justification for what caused it to be $27k? Is it that what you mentioned that triggers the price of bitcoin to $27k has decline overnight?

What you need to know, OP, is that the price of bitcoin is volatile. Her price fluctuation in both an upward and downward direction is foreseen.

There's nothing we can do other than wait until the global economy shows signs of recovery for BTC to reach a new ATH. It's already the world's "best performing asset". Whereas stocks are struggling to get back on their feet, Bitcoin's market prices have remained relatively stable (between the $25k - $30k range). If everything goes back up again, it's likely Bitcoin will finally get past the $100k milestone.

For what I know, "all cards are on the table". Big investment companies, as well as, mainstream governments are joining the game. Who knows if many of us will become filthy rich by the time BTC goes all the way to the moon? Just my thoughts ;D

It all boils down to one point, which is supply and demand, the supply of Bitcoin is limited and so when the demand increases, the price increases with that. All other points basically only add up to the main point because no matter what the reason is for which people want to have Bitcoin, it basically increases the demand which is the fundamental reason why the price of an asset keeps increasing over time, now since it's free to grow and the demand keeps increasing, it keeps going up.

However, if we consider the reason why most people are adopting Bitcoin these days is because they want to earn money and they can clearly see that the price of Bitcoin keeps going up which provides an opportunity for them to buy when it's relatively low and sell when it is higher than usual.

Not that most of us would say we would buy more if prices fell more and that was actually an opportunity. As for me, the short-term price doesn't make much sense and I don't care too much about it, what I'm waiting for is after the halving happens.

Well that makes little sense to me, on the other hand there are a lot of investors who want a moment where the price drops lower and after that they will buy more and then hoard it for a certain period of time. But well maybe some of them have already bought at $25k so they don't want the price to go back down to their original purchase point, I think this is one of the more plausible reasons why some of the investors are resisting the price drop. Of course I agree that every drop means that indirectly bitcoin has given us the opportunity to start our best plan to buy more and HOLD as long as possible, or if possible until reaching ATH.

Actually now also bitcoin has shown a big enough opportunity for investors, as we know now bitcoin is in the $ 26,500 area and previously also bitcoin has touched the lowest support area that has occurred in the previous few months, the point is now there is a great opportunity because bitcoin has touched the lowest support and there have been sideways and indications of price increases, now the price is still experiencing a correction and I say this is a pretty good opportunity for you to increase the amount you have. I hope you will always be consistent in doing HOLD.

There are a lot of people who are waiting for the Bitcoin halving next year, so it would be very reasonable to expect a price drop if there is an intention from many people to buy more Bitcoin. But personally, I just don't want to see more price drops in Bitcoin because some people only talk about wanting to buy more Bitcoin when the price drops, but in reality there are still people who are afraid to buy when they see another price drop in Bitcoin. But if it's only a drop of $25K, that's still pretty good because it's not too different from the current price.

There are just too many reasons and factors that are affecting the market price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which just means it's impossible to predict it accurately most of the time, I mean there are times that you might predict it and get lucky but sure there are always times where you're going to lose money or get the wrong prediction. That is why it is still a very risky investment even though we all believe that Bitcoin is going to increase its market price in the future, I mean we dont really know if Bitcoin is still going to exist in the coming years, because it has a volatile market price something could easily happen and drops the price to zero, It is not probably going to happen easily but there is always a possibility.

But if we are just going to base on the past timeline of Bitcoin we could easily predict that the market price is going to multiply in the coming years, also we are already seeing how Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are adapting all over the world, even to the day I can already see cryptocurrency adapt in a lot of platforms, it is already supported by some banks here in my country, just imagine that in the past years we thought that cryptocurrency is gonna be the one that is going to kill banks, but today you can now buy and sell cryptocurrency using some banks platforms.

This is the time of Bitcoin selling. Maybe the Bitcoin can come down again because sometimes the Bitcoin gives you a surprise. Today bitcoin prices are going down but not more than enough, which is good for some people and some people don't have with this.

If you did not sell when bitcoin price was at $30,000+ is now that the price is battling between 26,000 and 27,000 that you want to sell, instead of making some gain, you might end up losing some money on the process of selling now, this the kind of panic selling which traders and holders are warned upon, when you panic sell because of your fear for price dump in the time to come, you lose some money which you could have earned by just being a little patient with the price.

And anytime you sell off some bitcoin, you lose the chance of recovering what ever lose you incur due to the negative price change, as long as you hold you bitcoin and don’t sell, you will gain back what ever lose the dip market might make your portfolio experience.

But why are you afraid and don't want bitcoin to fall to 25k$? I think it's good for us, it doesn't do us any harm. Not that most of us would say we would buy more if prices fell more and that was actually an opportunity. I don't want to predict what will happen next but if it drops again, I think a lot of people will be happier because they say they will buy more bitcoin. As for me, the short-term price doesn't make much sense and I don't care too much about it, what I'm waiting for is after the halving happens.

Even if Bitcoin drops to $10k  I still think it is pretty good.  Since the Bitcoin market is known as highly volatile, it is not a surprise if Bitcoin price goes down heavily.  When the price drop, it is good to accumulate more, just ignore those people who have a negative reaction to the price drop, they won't give you a profit anyway.  Besides what is is to fear when the Bitcoin price history records how Bitcoin is able to recover everytime it is heavily dumped.

In other news, water is wet.

This is like those typical threads that have been posted a thousand times already, with the difference just being today's price (you even got the price wrong; bitcoin is already $27k+ by the time you posted this).
Sometimes you will not blame them, some people doesn't research or inquire before speculating the prices of bitcoin, assuming op have a nice data or knows how to interprets the chart and movement of a candle sticks it would have been better, because I understood that some of us in the forum just make a random predictions of bitcoin or give an information that is not accurate in bitcoin price, so it's obvious that since Bitcoin price drops it's just fluctuating because it has not clamped above thirty thousand to thirty five thousand [30k-35k] so in what aspect is bitcoin price is increasing, that is something I really wants to know towards bitcoin price, op is just giving or rendering information that is not accurate, according to you, as for the time op posted this thread the price of bitcoin  was at twenty seven  [27k] so what was the increase signal op is emphasising on. That is the reason I always tell some of the investors to observe very well before depending in some predictions and speculations of bitcoin  marketcap price.

If we are all waiting for next year's halving, that means we will only sell bitcoin during the bull season and when bitcoin makes a new ATH. So, we should feel happier if bitcoin drops more instead of increasing in price, because when the halving happens no matter what the price of bitcoin is, it will still recover and increase and create a new ATH. Furthermore, if the price of bitcoin price increases now, we will not sell them, if we have already decided not to sell our bitcoins then why do we expect the price to increase from now on?

I'm talking about levels lower than $25k, not just $25k, because the gap is so small from current prices.

A lot of retail investors are usually confused about the time when they should buy Bitcoin, they keep asking themselves and others whether it's a good time to buy right now and they keep missing the opportunities because of that. I mean, what's the confusion? Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency and if you have seen the history, it has always proved people wrong who said it can't go up anymore and has always recovered its price after crashing.

So you have nothing to lose even if you are buying at $30k or $35k if the price of Bitcoin reaches its previous all-time high or even if it reaches $50k. Those who are usually confused should basically use the DCA method for buying so that they don't invest everything at once and then regret if the market dips again.

The fall has created a serious panic in the market several times already. Especially in March 2020, when just like now there was a small rise and then a very big fall. By the way, the halving was closer that time and even the bravest bitcoiners succumbed to panic. So it's better for everyone when bitcoin is rising.

It's the people or a new investor who doesn't know how bitcoin price works, from my understanding of bitcoin the price value of bitcoin always changes and their is a way the price will fall even the upcoming investors will be scared of investing in bitcoin, so I know quite well that bitcoin investment have to do with advantages and disadvantages from my understanding, so any investors does not been discouraged whenever the price of bitcoin crashed because his or her already knows that bitcoin falling is at advantages of investors who wants to purchase more of bitcoin and same thing is applicable for someone who has invested for long time and the market of bitcoin get increased, so in cryptocurrency investment their is every tendency that price increases and it will become advantages to the investors and it may also decrease and it becomes disadvantages for investors as well, the main target of any investor is to propagate.

How is that any reasonable expectation on…
That an expectation of a halving to account for a price drop? The opposite is usually the case and what should be expected. Halving counts towards reduction of block reward to miners, Bitcoin investors tend to hoard at this time by hodling on wallets in airgapped device and many other means to hodling, hodling leads to scarcity and scarcity leads to buy pressure on bitcoin. That becomes relative to altcoins as well so,
How should we expect a price drop again…?

Yeah. The idea would be a price drop to open up a buying opportunity but people always anticipate for further dumps and tends to wait but what happens, price pushes back up and in there continued anticipation on further dumps, they miss what they had been waiting on.
That’s why, yo DCA when you have the funds to invest is always a more acceptable option.

This should be true - so this is not just optimism.
The halving could dictate something in particular regarding a possible increase in coin demand - but until then, prepare your portfolio.

There's a good chance of expecting a return from a bitcoin investment - but the best advice is about long-term planning. I believe the halving could drive more demand so it will affect prices, not to mention if there is FOMO.

Many individual makes their decision based on the influence of what the  public is saying, when there's a dip in Bitcoin prices and they go online to see people saying more dips will follow, they begin to have FUD and not invest in Bitcoin. When Bitcoin halving is done, we'll still have many individual that'll be waiting for the market to dip again before they buy. If Bitcoin falls to $20,000 many individual that said they'll buy when that happens will still not buy because of fear.

I don't think we should wait anymore because Bitcoin has fallen to a very low price and now is the right time for we to start buying Bitcoin in preparation for the halving and next bull market that's coming. If we keep waiting, it might become too late by the time we start buying.

Yeah people are always scared of the dip but the truth is that it's actually a time to buy especially when the halving and the proposed bull run is this close because for me I think that's the only opportunity that one would actually get to buy for the closing period before the bull starts pumping. But many investor don't actually have that mind to even buy and many prefer selling off even the little that they have saved.

Everybody wants BTC market prices to rise to turn a profit. The panic begins once prices go all the way down the drain in an instant. Most people sell their BTC holdings due to FUD, while a small few keep buying and holding the cryptocurrency no matter what.

I wouldn't worry that much about BTC's price, especially when Fiat is bound to collapse soon. With deflation "baked" into the protocol, it's likely BTC will reach new ATHs for the forseeable future. Who knows if someday Bitcoin goes as far as $1m? Just my thoughts ;D

The BTC Halving hype has started to spread, and maybe we will see FOMO caused by the halving which makes the BTC price rise. And usually after the halving BTC will experience a decline before continuing the bullrun. Profit will be on the side of people who dare to make purchases during this bearish period. If there are doubts and fear that prices could fall further, why don't we buy with a little money first.

It's impossible to know where bitcoin's bottom will be during this bear season, but we're probably so close to the bottom that waiting and not buying now is a really bad idea. Those who are still waiting for lower prices to buy will have to buy at higher prices because their greed is too great.
Furthermore, they will also be the ones who miss the opportunity to take profits during the bull season because they always want to buy at the lowest price and sell at the highest price. But they don't know that no one can know where is the bottom and what will be the highest price until everything passes.

While it is understandable that people want to buy at the bottom as in this way they will get more bitcoin for their fiat, at the same time there needs to be some sort of limit as the bottom only last for a few hours and at most for a few days, so unless someone can take advantage of that window of opportunity then most likely they will have to buy at a price higher than the bottom, but this is not really a big deal as if you are willing to hold your coins for the long term then it does not matter much if you bought at 15k or at 20k.

For me we have reach the bottom already, last year during the news about the FTX collapse, the price goes down to $15k. So I think this could be the bottom for this bear market already and we won't see the price going to like $12k as others predicted. It's good though if we are going to get to that price as we can accumulate more, but the chances are getting slimmer as we are now approaching the last 3 months of the year and the price is still moving sideways.

And after this, we have the block halving that is the catalyst for the bull run that we all have been expecting next. So no more bottom price for us (at least this is how I see it, but we should go and continue to accumulate more and be ready for the next phase, and ultimately, a new all time high in the 6 digit price range.

Support $15k has indeed become the strongest support for now and if you expect to fall below that price it is still quite difficult, but if that support is broken, the market will step into the next bear market.

But let's see, the bitcoin market is sideway and tends to stay at $26k-$27k, and on the 1 Week Time Frame it is already in the Flip trend position which means Bitcoin has the opportunity to break the resistance at $29.5k and enter the Uptrend Console market.
https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/09/29/Ps12N.png

Hopefully, in October there will be a significant enough increase to break resistance after resistance.
When Bitcoin has broken the $30k price, this will be an opportunity to be bullish and stay above $30k to welcome Halving next year.

Of course, this must also be supported by good and positive fundamentals.

We can never tell for sure when Bitcoin will "hit the bottom". That's because the crypto market is widely unpredictable. Too much volatility = too much risk. If you get in now, it's likely prices will further decline due to "bearish pressure". Or the opposite could happen where BTC goes all the way to the moon in an instant.

Regardless of what happens with Bitcoin's price in the future, I know for certain that the cryptocurrency won't be going anywhere soon. That's because of its tried-and-tested Blockchain network with decentralization in mind. If BTC got this far, it's likely it will last for generations. Just use it as a currency and forget about the rest. ;)

You can buy Bitcoin at the bottom if you have your buy order already set before the market dips to that price. Don't hold your fiats and be monitoring the market because you can't buy the bottom that way as you saint that the bottom don't last long but when you deposit your fiats to the exchange and set your buy order to the price range that you believe will be the bottom, when bitcoin price reach that price, the exchange will automatically buy some Bitcoin for you.

Many individuals want to buy at the bottom because they want to get more quantity of Bitcoin and using automatic buy options can get them that. I don't mind buying Bitcoin at any price that isn't the all time high because I know when Bitcoin returns to the all time high, I can sell my Bitcoin and make profits.

If you can place a buy order automatically at a certain price, why not do it? I think it would be much more difficult to buy manually when the price drops.
But my way is not like this, I just tell how finances are available by means of DCA regardless of the price, I will still buy whether it goes up or down because I will not think too much and it will not be complicated to accumulate by means of DCA.

Many buy at the usual lower price they have prepared so much fiat then by buying at once this of course gets as much btc as possible that is bought, well this method is not all capable but while with DCA we can do it even though it is with a little money put into bitcoin.

Anyway, Bitcoin prices are like a peak of mountains. Let's see that Bitcoin price goes down in October or not.  :-X

Bitcoin have been in a range for a long time now and it will not continue like that forever. The rise we are seeing now might just be the forces of demand and supply which is entirely market driven. Although we are expecting many developments that will bring in the volatility needed for Bitcoin to rise more rapidly.

I don't see the recent increase as something that will last, it can just be a minor reaction. The direction of Bitcoin will become clearing soon especially when it has moved out of the current range.

But what if the price does not decrease to the level we ordered? Therefore, whether ordering automatically or manually, we cannot be sure to buy bitcoin at the lowest price. Bitcoin is unpredictable, so waiting and placing a buy order at the lowest price is ineffective. I like your way better and I'm doing the same, I prefer DCA rather than having to predict and wait to buy at a lower price in uncertainty. If we want to not miss the bottom, then other than the DCA strategy, I don't think anyone will be able to analyze where is the bottom and where is the highest peak of bitcoin.

This is a system of Bitcoin. The Bitcoin prices go up and down, that is not a unique thing.

Volatility is a usually thing, the market prices rises and fall at the same view, but we need to learn more in having the understanding of how it works, when and for how long, because in knowing this, lies the ability for us to know when to enter or exit the market whenever we are planning for an investment.

This is the best time to sell Bitcoin and when it will go down so buy Bitcoin.

This isn't the best time to sell, remember we are far from the all time high of $68,000, you cannot expect someone who had invested while during this period to sell now, we are still in the bear market, except you've already bought some coins when the market dips down below $26,000 and wanted to sell close to $28,000 now, if not, we must realize that we are still in the bear market uptill now and it's more advantaged to hodl.

Anyway, Bitcoin prices are like a peak of mountains. Let's see that Bitcoin price goes down in October or not.  :-X

October is a month believed to be for more bull than bear, there's more indications that there will be more of rising than falling in this present month of October.

I would consider this the worst decision or advice this year.  we are 2 years into bear season and it is almost over and there is no reason for us to sell our bitcoins now.  moreover, what do you rely on to be confident that bitcoin will fall again to buy bitcoin?  if you sell it now and the price doesn't decrease but continues to rise, what will you do? Would you sell bitcoin for $27k and buy it for $30k?

Yes, no one can predict what prices will be like in October, but there's also nothing to say prices will drop.  the idea of selling now is a bad idea if you are only selling out of fear and not because you need the money for an emergency.

I think he may be suggesting it can better to sell now for buyback later at lower prices. Some people (including me) like this method to maximize our profits. But I would agree that its very risky as you describe, selling at 28k may mean buyback at 30-35k later. But still I think October is never better bitcoin month historically. I feel like bitcoin price will only increase when fed will start to ease its monetary policies. So we need to wait some more month(s). Next year will be much better than 2023.

That is true, I mean not him you. This is by far the worst advice and the price will only go up, we are getting closer to halving as well so it should be important. I get that it may not be all that simple but we should try out best to make sure that we are holding. It will end up with us making as much profit as we possibly could and that is only done by holding as long as possible.

This is why selling right now is a terrible advice and nobody should listen to it, it doesn't make sense at all. I get that we are going to end up with something that will hurt on the long run, but it is not going to be easy to make a gigantic profit, so the waiting period could be hurting some people but it should not be all that important at all.

I agree with Texac. This is the worst advice I have seen on this forum so far this year. Not only is it bad advice in general to try to time the market, but to do it now is even worse. No one can know if the price is going to go back down although at the point we are at it would make more sense for it to go up gradually.

The best thing to do is to invest in Bitcoin for the long term and forget about these movements. If you sell and see that the price does not stop rising, what are you going to do? Buy more expensive? It is better to DCA.

I also have an opinion that is almost the same as what you said, because the influence and encouragement of the forces of demand and supply still exist in Bitcoin so that increases and decreases are still occurring at a smaller rate in the price of Bitcoin at this time. Such small reactions may continue to occur if there is nothing new and could lead to more people entering the Bitcoin market which could help the price move past the current price range in Bitcoin.

Which aspect of the Bitcoin system are you referring to? Fluctuating prices have no direct correlation with the Bitcoin system. It's one of the current characteristics of Bitcoin, often referred to as market volatility.

So, when others are buying Bitcoin, you're recommending selling it? Your decision might seem sound when you have an instinct that October will bring bearish trends. However, DCA will persist until news of the next ATH arrives, which is when the optimal selling opportunity may arise. $27k is still a bargain for the current Bitcoin price, as it's quite feasible to reach $30k or even $40k when the bullish trend kicks in.

Just use it as a currency and forget about the rest. ;)
One can't really forget about the rest even if they are using it only as a currency because you will surely be worried if you see that your wealth is decreasing over time because that is what happens when Bitcoin's price starts going down, if you have $20,000 worth of Bitcoins when its priced $30,000, you will have $10,000 if it drops to $15,000 and that is obviously something to be worried about if you are using your Bitcoins as a currency.

So, volatility will always affect you whether you are using Bitcoin for an investment or as a currency for paying for goods and services in the real world, and one can't be tension-free as long as Bitcoin is going down, they might be able to forget about it if it continues to go up but that won't happen forever.

It would be an exception to continue to assume that adoption actually requires thinking about extreme price fluctuations. Bitcoin = Bitcoin and its price fluctuations are a reason that bitcoin is superior to anything else. Seeing the risks, of course the government implementing the adoption has thought about it. To become a global currency at this time will indeed be difficult because of unclear regulations regarding Bitcoin. But as an investment tool it will be very good with price fluctuations which can provide benefits for those who understand market conditions and can take advantage of them.

Exactly. You can automatically buy Bitcoin at a low price in a centralized crypto exchange. There's nothing stopping you from doing it. The reason why many people hesitate to get into Bitcoin now is because they believe prices will keep going all the way down the drain. If you buy now and prices decline, you will lose a substantial amount of your investment in the short-term. Long-term speaking, you should be able to make huge returns with every bull market.

What you do with your money is entirely up to you. Knowing that Bitcoin was designed as a deflationary cryptocurrency, it's likely its value will continue to increase over time. I'd suggest you take advantage of the current bear market to buy Bitcoin at a hugely-discounted price. Once it hits a new ATH, you'll never be able to buy at these low prices ever again. Play your cards right, and who knows? Maybe you'll become the next "Bitcoin millionaire". ;D

Maybe the cycle of a normal market that you want to say related to up and down prices of Bitcoin and other coins.
Buy a good thing to do when your analysis concludes that price opportunities will increase for some time ahead. Now it is still in good condition to buy because the opportunity for Bitcoin prices will increase large.

Anyway, Bitcoin prices are like a peak of mountains. Let's see that Bitcoin price goes down in October or not.  :-X
Do not wait for an increase in October because if it does not happen, the opportunity to buy will be missed, but look forward to an increase in other months and in other years. This month the signal is still good for buying.

Years ago, we were looking forward to the "Ber" months because that is where Bitcoin is mostly pumped. The reason? Hmm, maybe because the Christmas bonuses that are being given to each employee are being invested in it. Possibly. I did that before. :D
Now, the big reason behind the slow increase of Bitcoin is the Spot ETF. After Grayscale won its case against the SEC for the application of the Bitcoin Spot ETF it gained a lot of attraction from investors.
Read here for more details.
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2023/09/04/grayscales-legal-win-versus-sec-makes-spot-bitcoin-etf-approval-more-likely-jpmorgan/
The increase in value might be slow but it's better than what happened before when Elon Musk bought a lot of Bitcoin and then sold it back. That's not a healthy pump, it's more like shaking the market only and then putting it back with the correction.
IMO, this might be the time to buy and if ever I get funds I want to take advantage of the opportunity while it's still not that expensive.

The price of bitcoin may be increasing for many reasons , the main one being that people realized that fiat money falls at any time , bitcoin maintains its value, it does not matter if it drops in price but rather if it appreciates later and much more , that is what bitcoin can offer, it is said that bitcoin is increasing due to the war that is taking place with Israel due to the effects of the world economy, especially that of the USA , all this has its positive effect In bitcoin conditions, there are some investors who can invest more in bitcoin because they see bitcoin as a very particular way of having money with the option to multiply over time.

The reasons which could explain why the price of bitcoin has presented a small increase are simply to numerous, besides the increase we have seen recently does not really indicate some major change in the way the majority of the people think about bitcoin, so I am more inclined to think that this is simply the result of long term holders buying all the bitcoin they can, and the number of weak hands reducing to the point the demand outstrips the supply and this is causing a price increase.

I agree with your observation about the market. There can be a small correction before the halving which can take us to the 25k level again. This correction won't be significant so selling at this level and buying back when there is a dip won't make much difference. However there isn't any guarantee that there will be a dip before halving. If our prediction proves invalid we will miss the chance to buy at this level either.

It is still a bit above 27k as we can see, plenty of people assumed that it would go up a lot but we have seen it not do that and we are still around the same prices. I understand that going from 25kish to above 27k made people hopeful and they got some FOMO, but that doesn't really mean that it would go up a lot just because it went up a bit. I believe that just because we are doing what we are doing doesn't mean that we are going to be continuing to do so. I think it is better to just have something that will benefit us all which would be just realizing that it is a steady growth and not a quick one.

We can keep doing what we are doing right now and I believe that it could be done but it has to be something that will take some time. I hope that we could end up with something that would be amazing and it should not be all that shocking when you are looking at what you are doing, and because of that we should not be really surprising it all that much when it goes up more in the future but stays same for now.

as has been shown in the OP, the reason for the increase in the price of bitcoin is of course not far from market sentiment, especially traders who continue to sell and buy bitcoin as they please, apart from that, news about the global economy which continues to change over and over again has a big influence. the price of bitcoin, a simple example - currently we have just seen a hot war (I'm sure you know which country is having a big war again) if the country affected by the war opens donations with bitcoin then I'm sure the price of bitcoin will increase several percent, something as simple as that is one of the triggers for the price of bitcoin, so don't miss your view on the global news that is happening, surely the price of bitcoin will move because of that.

You might see a difference when you sell at $27k and then buy back when it dips around $25k, only if you have huge amount of bitcoin being sold and that means when the price dips, a huge amount of bitcoin can be added to your holding when you buy back. However, the risk associated with such strategy is very high considering that we are approaching the next bitcoin halving. If bitcoin won't come down at the $25k level again, you'll gonna end up not being able to maximize the opportunity to make good profit for the most anticipated bullrun next year.
It's not gonna be a good strategy for someone who is DCAing, as the goal for it is to hodl as much as you can and wait for bitcoin to hit that specific target.

Unless you're investing millions, there's a pretty clear difference between buying for $25k and buying for $27k, but if we only have a few thousand then I don't think it's worth the risk. To put it bluntly, it's a really bad idea as bear season is ending and the halving is approaching. Instead, why don't we work or look for other sources of capital to accumulate more bitcoin instead of with the intention of selling and buying back?
If increasing the amount of bitcoin simply by buying low and selling high could be done so easily, then the DCA strategy would be useless?

2. Supply : The supply of bitcoins is limited (21 million) and new bitcoins have to follow strict procedures to generate them. This in turn increases the value of Bitcoin.
The limited scarcity of Bitcoins (21 million) then combined with increased demand makes the value of Bitcoins rise over time. Another reason the price of Bitcoin continues to increase over time is because acceptance and adoption of Bitcoin continues to grow, as more businesses and individuals use Bitcoin for various transactions the price of Bitcoin will grow.
High demand from investors driven by the prospect of huge profits generated made Bitcoin gain recognition throughout the world, even though the price was very volatile, the forces of supply and demand played an important role in causing the price spike.

I would rather not sell at this level than later not have the opportunity to buy back at the declining level you are referring to. So I would prefer to continue holding rather than selling now and will also try to buy when there is a price drop as you say, although not with much force. But buying when the price decline has occurred is still a pretty good option for everyone so there's no harm in taking advantage of it, just because the guarantee of a decline is still uncertain. I will continue to keep the Bitcoin that I bought previously.

You can plan for your own way of executing the situation. What i think is that there won't be any significant drop and even if there will any it won't last for long. The market will recover quickly and price will back to its normal position again. The best we can do is accumulate more if price made a correction because this dip can be the last significant dip we are going to see.

You can buy at any price if you want, but buying low during a bearish or correction is the best way to accumulate. You don't need to wait for the decline to be too deep if you use the DCA strategy, meaning you still have a reserve budget to buy the decline if after the first purchase the price drops again.

Right now think something about surviving in the long term. The long-term potential is more profitable than taking daily profits through price volatility, but it's up to you how you do it. The best investment is when you are able to refrain from taking small profits just because you are afraid of a price drop.

This action needs a lot of patience.  I hope you are able to withstand the temptation and fears when price surge or crash.  Holding is the best strategy in Bitcoin investment because the market is yet to be saturated and the Bitcoin Industry is just starting to bloom.  Buying in its early stage is a wise decision but I think it is still better to know when to sell so that we can realize our profit and look for possible re-entry.  One must set a selling price so that he can realized his profit.  Holding without a plan opens missed out on the oportunity given by the market volatility.

If you dont have patience then this market isnt for you. ;) Tons of people specially new ones would really be having that kind of impression on which they do really believe that dealing up with this market is really just that simple or something that can be handled until the reality would fuck you up then this is where you would really be making out realizations but well it is really just that common that you would really be learning from your mistakes. In regarding about why Bitcoin is increasing then everything would really be depending or basing up with the demand and this is would really be entirely be depending on how people would really be recognizing and really buying it. Market news and sentiments? Of course it cant really be called a market if it would really be just having one movement whether going up or down but rather it would really be having both things. It is really just that a market could really be having those unpredictable movement which it is really just that normal that there's no way on easy for it to guess on where it would heading.

I will go even further and say that someone that has no patience has no business becoming a trader or an investor in any market, and this is because while there are without a doubt good times in which everything seems to be going right for us, like when the bull market appears and the price of bitcoin creates a new ATH almost every day, we must also recognize that such joy is only temporary, and after the bull market we need to deal with the bear market and then a ranging market that can last for years.

After 7 days, BTC has experienced a 6% increase, which is indicative of a positive trend, driven by the growing dominance of BTC.D. This implies that the current cryptocurrency landscape is predominantly focused on Bitcoin, with limited significant movement in the realm of altcoins.

Bullish signals are ringing strong for the upcoming weeks, or at the very least, for the next few months, serving as a gift for the holiday season around Christmas and New Year. Everyone is eagerly anticipating news regarding the Bitcoin ETF, and many individuals are starting to accumulate Bitcoin from this point onwards. Moreover, making purchases at this juncture can serve as a preparation strategy for the impending halving event, which is drawing nearer with each passing day.

Let's stay tuned for more updates on the Bitcoin ETF news for an upcoming surprise and the halving event as a medium-term gift.

The funny thing in bitcoin market is that when the price of bitcoin is increasing some will be appreciating the good will of bitcoin and when the value of bitcoin will be decreasing same people will complain about the price of bitcoin currently, but I think that falling of bitcoin in price doesn't give people happiness but rather the increment of bitcoin give people joy and understanding, let us be happy to bitcoin when the price fall and when the price rise may people benefit from both aspects, their is some investors who is desperate for bitcoin price to fall before they can be okay but when the price rise people that invested for sometime ago also be happy.

This is the human nature mate. They only care about is profits. They don’t treat the price fall as opportunity. When the price falls they should treat is as a chance and should buy the high value coin in low prices. Nevertheless, coming back to OP’s concern, then supply and demand plays the important role for making the price of coin go up and down. When the demand is high price goes up, and the reverse happens when demand is low. All this happens due to the fix supply of Bitcoins.

True and I see now that it is not uncommon for those who come with the intention and only think of profit, when bitcoin experiences a decline it is clear as discussed above that some of them will doubt bitcoin because of its decline, even though it is clear as you said the decline in bitcoin is one of the opportunities they can take to realize something they always want, namely profit. There is no instant profit unless they are willing to take at low prices and wait for some time or even years to be able to achieve maximum profit with the capital they bring.

Of course supply and demand have a very important role, when one of the two exceeds the limit then there will be something significant happening, for example an increase due to very high demand, it is clear that with the conditions of a decline like this then most people will come and take the lowest price according to them, and if 90% of them take advantage of opportunities like this when the price is below then obviously the increase will occur soon because the market demand is very high.

Not only prices move according to the rules of supply and demand, but also because of what happens in the real world. Certain factors (like rising inflation rates, wars, government regulations, etc.) could impact market prices for Bitcoin (either negatively or positively). The crypto market is still small, so expect wild fluctuations in price. As of now, BTC has reached the $30k milestone. It could be the result of a rumored spot ETF approval by the SEC.

If the US regulatory agency gives the "green light", it's likely the market will turn bullish. That, combined with the halving event of 2024, should help BTC reach a new ATH. We must grow our BTC holdings before this happens. Who knows if we'll never see prices below $25k ever again? :)

You're all right and this can be attributed to any of your various reasons, meanwhile, let's not forget that the breaking news on the ETF approval of BlackRock that sprouted the second time also is a major push on why this sudden sporadic increase occurs, this forum has been a major source and reliable means of getting any well approved trending news from a genuine source, when it firstly arrived here that bitcoin spot ETF was approved, then alot of people awaiting for this take advantage and the market continue to rise untill BlackRock themselves make the declaration that it was fake, but wether this happened intentionally or not bitcoin will always rise.

The cryptocurrency market is very manipulative. Now there is a huge price increase and there is no certainty about what caused it. Many people are talking about the approval of bitcoin etf, but this news or a week ago. No one knows exactly why the price has risen so much now. But it could happen that it could fall just as quickly.

I also think that a fall is still very possible for Bitcoin, but when I saw the price increase that occurred in Bitcoin today, I started to have a slight idea that it might be caused by the large number of purchases of Bitcoin by people who wanted to have more Bitcoin before this year ends so that the price increase begins to become more clear and real. And it is also very possible that this could continue for Bitcoin if the level of buying demand continues to increase this month, because I was also a little surprised when I saw the price of Bitcoin rising so quickly to $35K.

It's all because of the hype surrounding the spot Bitcoin ETF approval by the SEC. As far as I know, nothing has been confirmed by the agency. It could decide to delay the application again, leaving us all in suspense. Once this happens, market prices could go back to the $25k - $28k range. The real pump will happen once a spot ETF is officially approved by the SEC. That, combined with the halving event of 2024, should lead BTC towards a new ATH.

I hope we'll have enough time to buy Bitcoin at a discount before it's all over. There are a lot of companies invested into the cryptocurrency after all. With surging demand from institutional investors, it's very likely Bitcoin will reach $100k soon. This is all speculation, so lets hope for the best. ;)

But it is true that bitcoin has recently increased due to the circulation of the ETF Hype, and shows that bitcoin has started to be listed on Nasdaq, and there is also a narrative from SEC members themselves about ETFs that should have been accepted several years ago, which shows that among the SEC there are those who are pro bitcoin.

It should be seen that we will experience a big positive double moment for Bitcoin in 2024, namely the halving and the approval of this Bitcoin ETF will cause a significant increase in spot Bitcoin adoption, as a market mechanism, institutional investors will be more confident in Bitcoin in the future, which will make them also collect bitcoins sopt to hold in their wallet.

The price of Bitcoin is increasing at the current rate and will reach even higher in the future. Although the current price of Bitcoin continues to hover around $34,000, we may see it go higher before the halving. The main reason why Bitcoin price increases is because every four years Bitcoin halving happens, and then the Bitcoin market gradually moves to higher levels.  Moreover, the Bitcoin market is constantly changing and the demand for Bitcoin is increasing, thus investors are interested in investing in Bitcoin. When the amount of investors HODL Bitcoins invested then the demand for Bitcoins increases, that is why the price of so many coins increases in the market. Moreover, the supply of Bitcoin is stable due to which its supply will not increase any more and the market is getting huge demand for Bitcoin as the days go by. Quantity supply is why the bitcoin market has been so high and will continue to go higher in the future when people have a small amount of bitcoins, the price of bitcoin will probably be at an all-time high.

The combination of these fundamental factors has led to the rise in value of Bitcoin. Also distribution limits and mainstreaming means that Bitcoin's supply mechanism affects the mainstream price on the upside.
everything you say here is very true, but I will add a little about the causes of the increase in the price of bitcoin, such as world economic uncertainty that occurred, investors immediately looked at investments that were safe and immune to inflation, namely bitcoin, and usually, the adoption was carried out by large companies greatly influences the price of bitcoin too.  In essence, market sentiment is something that has a big influence on the price of bitcoin, without market sentiment, the price of bitcoin is unlikely to move very volatile.

Obviously, bitcoin is intended to grow overtime. Its value keeps appreciating because bitcoin has huge potentials enough to see it consistently growing, unlike altcoins that are mostly pump and dump scheme. And knowing bitcoin remains on the top position and the king of crypto, then people will focus on bitcoin accumulation not only because the coin is hyped, but because investing in bitcoin for long term guarantees high profitability that is too far to happen from other crypto coins.

Besides, who would want to invest in such coins that are doomed to fail? People are smart and wise enough to trust only bitcoin, and that motivates bitcoin to skyrocket its price regardless of its high volatility.

I can only say that the reason why the price value of Bitcoin is rising is because of the hype that is happening in the news and in the market. It's really different when it's well reported. For example, it happened recently that someone reported that Blackrock was approved for ETF on a well-known platform, Cointelegraph, which published the same news. Though blackrock denied it.

If this is just fake news and there are a lot of hyped investors, how can it be that what is happening in this matter with Bitcoin is true regarding its price value in the market?

Bitcoin ETF have indeed become the major propeller to the current market value of Bitcoin and the surge in the price in recent times,  much more also is the fact that Bitcoin is highly volatile and any event can easily affects it value in whatever direction possible and this is one of those instances.

Alot have been in the news lately on the development and possible approval of the bitcoin ETF by the United state legislators and cex which will open up a lot of opportunities to most Bitcoin holders,  investors and speculator,  trader and a host of all others.

I know some people that were able to leverage the inevitable doom of altcoins that they're invested in because they know that though most of them fail, they all experience some peaks that we like to call the altcoin season which has happened before many times already and I think that the smartest and wisest ones are those that are able to utilize that potential and doom to generate more profit for themselves and at the same time if they are thinking of it, invest more money back into bitcoin to again hodl for a long time and generate more profit.

It's the supply and demand that pushes the price of Bitcoin up and down, and no motivation or anything. People trust Bitcoin more than altcoins because of its qualities and properties such as decentralization and security and most importantly, scarcity. Altcoins in general are not completely decentralized because they are managed and owned by certain projects and their supplies are also controllable which means that even if they have a certain supply, they can always make a change in it if they want in the future.

So, because the supply of Bitcoin is limited and there will never be more Bitcoins than its fixed total supply, the price will keep increasing over time as the demand increases and more and more people become interested in it and would want to buy some of it for themselves and those willing to sell will start asking for more money for their holdings.

Just a simple economics subject on why we are really that pumping or increasing which specifically talking about on the demand and recognition of bitcoin on why we are really that experiencing these things.
We do know on a market on which it would really be just simply getting involved with those ups and downs. Market could neither have a bear or bullish market and it would really be that depending on several factors.
Now that we are really that seeing that its price is increasing then whats the reason? It would be always on the demand and some mix of FOMO.  ;D

This is why you should really that make yourself that aware and really that wise on taking up decisions because if you dont then you are really that putting up yourself on a
hard situation because you would really be keeping on trying out to chase whenever it do moves.

To me, there is nothing new to this,  and this has never been different from what we used to exuberance with the market because at some point in the past,  bitcoin has always been showing similar price movement and we shouldn't try to ascribe this one to any event or anticipated bull run,  this is just a normal market recovery movement and just for a short term,  to allow those that got in at around 20 or below to be able to cash in the profit in the short term.

Unless for long-term Bitcoin holders who may not look at the directions of the market at its present level,  and also giving the expression we are in for a long-term market recovery up until the next price break out that we can call a bull market.

but at least people feel happy because of this, especially for those who are still negative and seeing this market recovery, like getting a surprise, maybe they have been waiting for a long time,so let everyone rejoice because of this.

It may be that the price of bitcoin is rising because demand has increased , there are more people who want to buy bitcoin because they know that it is a great investment, and with everything that can be achieved when buying right now and hoping to sell much more late, for example, buy now and wait until the end of 2024, you would be making a lot of money, this is a lifelong investment, where the more time passes, the more strength the investment takes because the better price it takes, this is what is expected all the time to be done, based on how much they think about why ? It could be because the investors have planned it that way, if the big investors who are the ones with the most money see it that way, we who buy little by little because we must follow the big ones.

Those who follow the big ones do well buying , and selling when they sell, that is the only way I have seen that they can Achieve the things they want, you only have to Follow those who know and those who know know that there is still a long way to go to go up.

That is the fundamental foundation of Bitcoin price increase,  because only when the demand increases that guarantee the price to increase and that is what has an impact much more on our understanding of how and what makes Bitcoin price increase or decrease because when demand increases,  the commodity will become scarce and at that point, the value will automatically increase which will give birth to a competitive price.

We call such approach,  the DCA approach and this is the most effective way to accumulate both bitcoin and the dollars at the same time using same formula DCA,  with that too are sure that you may have short term Bitcoin price speculations and buying vs selling at regular proportions.

Definitely who wouldn't be happy to see that the price is going above $40k now? We might hit $45k if the FOMO is real. And perhaps the reason for the big surge is still the speculation about approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF. So everyone is very high on it  that we could see approvals already based on the positive sentiments of those who have filed. So it's just a matter of race on who will be the first one to get approval early next month.

So there is something that needs to be happy and excited, but we shouldn't sell any at this point though. Just keep on buying and selling, this is going to be fun to see that huge bull run that we all expecting next year with that bitcoin that we have save right now.

The market is often crazy, it reacts as it likes and the person with an in-depth insightful thought would always make their money for they would always outsmart it. Did you know that if not for this time of the season and in the Bitcoin cycle where halving is much anticipated Bitcoin wouldn't have reacted this much to ETF headlines and expectations? This is how the market is, it goes with some kind of strange mood as long as it sees the right sentiment to back it up. For real, the FOMO is pumping the market so well, it might reach $45,000 which I least expected this year. In my wildest dreams, I never thought that Bitcoin could reach $40,000 in 2023, not to talk of the level of $44,000 which it comfortably seated above now.

As everyone can see, it's an obvious bullishness for Bitcoin and I am glad that I made my long-analysis on it in October before all these and also advised those who had not started buying it to buy and DCA if that was what they could resolve to. It's all bullish and I can't doubt it if someone predicts that it will reach $50,000 before the end of this year. However, this might spell unforgeable doom for the coin since it's deviating from the widely expected pattern, and it might start so urgently if ETF is rejected. Well, let's see how thing unfolds and let us use our charts to guide and educate ourselves accordingly even as we make the right investment plans.

Recovery like now is certainly something that Bitcoin holders or Bitcoin buyers have been waiting for a long time because they also want more decent profits from the efforts they have made previously. So of course it wouldn't be wrong for everyone to celebrate this joy as a victory for those who have spent as much capital as possible in the past. I am also quite happy to see this continued increase even though transaction costs are also increasing at this time.

Yeah Bitcoin market have really done a lot of rollercoaster movement to the point that none can really anticipate which direction the price will go,  and since Bitcoin price react to a lot of sentiment as a direct propeller to it price movement this made it easier for Bitcoin price to react positively to the Bitcoin ETF news even though it has not been confirmed yet,  most time we tend to forget the fact that Bitcoin is an unpredictable assets when it comes to it value movement, so for that,  any one who is in for the short term price speculation must be ready to take some accurate and on time actions that reflect direction of sentiment as inline with their DCA approach or formula.

Take those that bought Bitcoin while it price was at it lowest point in the last discount touch where Bitcoin slumped and stayed below 20k region for a while before it start recovering to this present point,  by now if those who bought at that $15k-20k price benchmark are already in 1x+ gains at the present moments as Bitcoin have reached 45k+ already.

At this moment,  we can't declare Bitcoin bullisness as you call it because at some point,  45k price is still a recovery phase for us here and at that will wait to see Bitcoin touche at least 55k price benchmark before we can boldly declare the start of a bull market again and which I doubt if we can reach that price before the month of march-appril when the Bitcoin halving will occurs.

Everyone gets excited when BTC market prices increase. There's no denying that. The only problem is that fees soar like crazy due to high network congestion. Many Bitcoiners are already feeling the pain of paying over $15 per transaction, especially when other coins are faster and cheaper to use. Even ETH is cheaper than BTC right now. Unless the hype comes to an end, don't expect things to get better soon.

If you only rely in BTC as a store of value, high fees shouldn't be much of an issue. Bitcoin is now sitting within the $43k mark, with ample room for growth in the future. If spot ETFs are approved in the US, expect market prices to rise all the way to the moon. Even without the spot ETFs, the upcoming halving will have a positive effect over Bitcoin's market price. I'd wait until the dust settles to buy more BTC at a discount. But if you've bought early and are still holding BTC, I'd suggest you don't sell until the big pump. Who knows what surprises we'll find by 2024? ;D

In anticipation that the FED will pivot? No rate hike they say.  Or it could be retracing back to $31k to try a breakout. Yuletide season is coming though and it usually goes up every holiday.

There are just so many fundamental factors now like Gas going up to $150 per gallon. The last time the gas price went berserk was the time when Russia-Ukraine started and the price of BTC also rocketed so it could be possible.

but I think the bad impact of war is greater than the good impact, let's say the market and oil go up, but human lives are lost just because of the interests of a few parties who want to monopolize or whatever.
I would rather have other news cause Bitcoin to rise than war.

In my opinion, the factor that makes the price of bitcoin increase is because it is driven by retail players, especially in the last few months the price of bitcoin has risen very sharply, driven by institutions that have started to get involved in bitcoin, many big investors have started investing in bitcoin, so it is not surprising that the price of bitcoin continues to increase.

This could be very possible because buyers in large numbers at this time must have also entered the market to buy Bitcoin and their involvement is very undoubted. Because the increase in the last two months can be said to be significant and there is also an influence from people who have a lot of capital to put it into Bitcoin before next year. It could also be said that there is encouragement from large institutions because perhaps they have seen the good news for Bitcoin so they are trying to take advantage of this moment quite well.

I think there are good news from those companies because they did invested into bitcoin and they want us to invest into bitcoin as well so they are promoting it. Like all those grayscale type of companies (and blackrock to a point) will always promote bitcoin because they know that the higher the price goes the more they are going to profit and in order for that to happen they need to have a lot of people buying bitcoin.

This is why they keep saying that they need to end up doing something like marketing on behalf of bitcoin, it's not their duty and they do not have to do it, it's not like it's their job to do something like that or they weren't hired to do that but in the end they would profit from bitcoin going up so they do it.

We know that the current cycle is different than the previous one, because institutional investors are starting to become bitcoin savvy, and maybe they are already aware of crypto technology, and indirectly that the crypto industry has a bright future ahead to get wider technology adoption.

Yes in such a scenario it could happen, but I want to question where they get the profit from the formation of the bitcoin ETF? is it from transaction fees that are done or what? I am still hesitant in this case about traditional exchanges that want to market bitcoin on their platform with their ETF products.

If we look at ETFs, I think the big players have long known the likely adoption dates and have been buying them at lower prices. However, news of adoption will definitely drive prices up. And it won't take long for halving of bitcoin. As usually, we will have good spring 2024 and no good summer 2024

Bitcoin increases very quickly in price within the weekend, before it finally broke through the serious relating barrier of $41k on Monday morning.  Bitcoin has been on a direct upward curved path since October, when it broke through the $35k Mark for the first time since 2022, which come with Bitcoin 's total gains for 2023 to more than 154% based on the Monday high over  $42k with a more than 5% gain over the last we hours.
Bitcoin now has gotten back its original ground which it lost over the years and a half since Terra's Luna coin crash.

The happening bullish attitude  In Bitcoin begins from a wave of optimism around that might exist, that the Fed would have gotten to its end of tightening cycle with interest rate, which made a lot of Fed officials   echo the chance that interest rate must have reached its peak and might be coming down last week, which gave investors hope towards the present era of tightening money by the higher federal funds rate  which is arranged by the federal reserve that is the bank spends huge amount of money to borrow which will now tighten the monetary supply all over the economy.

Indeed, there is more enthusiasm among most people when they see the significant price increase in Bitcoin over the last two months, so it is also quite natural that there are many new companies and people who promote Bitcoin after seeing the increasing price increase for Bitcoin. And I'm also sure that right now there are many people who want to take advantage of this small correction moment for maximum profits next year when there is another price increase.

We also need to look at this from various other angles, as most people are always happy to do things like that without being hired by certain parties. Because when important people who are trusted by many people start promoting Bitcoin at the end of this year, of course there will be many people who want to follow suit and they can also benefit together when the price of Bitcoin continues to increase in the market.

In essence the cycles are very similar while the ingredients that keep those cycles running and recurring change in composition over time. You mentioned the institutional investors and that is certainly one reason why Bitcoin went places in the last few years. But we can't really know whether some of the institutional investors have been investing into Bitcoin for a long time now. They might not have announced it publicly because they first wanted to grow their holdings without sparking excitement and miss out on favorable prices, but it's possible that they have been stacking up for a long time now and just now begin to make a case for Bitcoin. Don't underestimate the big players here, they know very well that Bitcoin is a must have of any reasonably composed and diversified portfolio.

From this point of view it sounds logical in the mind, basically we don't know that whether they have been accumulating bitcoin for a long time, but not publicizing that they are accumulating bitcoin to benefit from bitcoin. Previously Larry fink denied about bitcoi but now approves ETF products, this also seems a little strange to me.

Yes, if we look at the movement side it is similar to the previous cycle, and indeed the ingredients are always in their composition even though the context has a difference so that bitcoin becomes the center of attention of the global financial world gradually, in a matter of one year also bitcoin is the best asset that has a significant increase and more than 100%, if we collect bitcoin since the beginning of January.

This is what I am talking about:

I know that public corporations need to have their balance sheet and people can have a look at them and in some instances they would be able to detect whether digital assets are listed in the balance sheet somewhere, but if Blackrock wanted to build a portfolio without anyone noticing, that is the easiest part for them to hide any digital asset acquisitions. They could set up new companies of all types to hide their holdings in some way. I just don't buy the narrative that many of the institutional investors that turned pro Bitcoin out of a sudden weren't holding any before they made their U-turn. It is not realistic to believe that they all refrained from buying some as a hedge against being wrong.

Buffett hasn't and Munger hasn't I guess, but if I had been one of those guys, only for the sake of hedging against me being wrong, I would have taken 100 million USD and bought Bitcoin. I never was fully convinced whether these guy really didn't, but it seems they didn't. For Blackrock 100 million is peanuts and in 17/18 they could have amassed 20k to 30k Bitcoin with that amount.

I don't know anything about institutional investors because the rumours have been around for the last five years. But the cycles and market manipulation have not changed. One thing is clear that the big companies have been around for a long time. If the etf is accepted, the big money will be in the market officially.

And when the big money from the ETF received circulates into the market, that's when Bitcoin will continue to experience a big spike. Because the circulation of larger amounts of money can also be the main foundation for the push to increase prices in the market, there will be many people who are surprised by the extraordinary achievements in Bitcoin. So everyone just needs to make sure there is more valid evidence for this because many of the big companies in the world have definitely looked at Bitcoin and are trying to have it as their additional investment for now.

I believe, it is only a matter of time before these big companies disclose about their bitcoin investments.
For sure, some of them are secretly or discreetly buying large amount of bitcoin.
As we are heading to the halving period, the sentiments are positive. So high likely that we are on the increasing side.
The good thing also is that the supply is fixed with btc, so we are only working on the demand aspect of this market.

And as we are seeing here, we are in the positive direction of demand, which means, the price is also on the positive side of things.

There are many investors who are always in search of the best Investments, they know that Bitcoin is the exit is the great way that they can generate a lot This , there are no risks that have a lot of patience and trust that the price will Rise , Investors in companies know that the way to follow in any Investment is just to do wel l, there is no other , we know that they can be generated Many ways to make money , and there are no other than it is safer.

Institutions have money in Bitcoin for many Years , as well as in El Salvador that the president has been the only Bitcoin without taking Advantage of being looking for Regulations for those who have Bitcoin , Bukele is a great example to Follow.

I think with this sentence you described it perfectly :)

Quote
the big money will be in the market officially

I am absolutely convinced that institutional/big money has been in the market for a long time now and there was intrinsic and extrinsic pressure for large scale investors to make their move. When Bitcoin went towards 70k, I think that was the final call for everyone who believed Bitcoin is just a bubble about to pop and vanish. No. And as you said, the time has come now for institutional investors to talk about their stakes in the network publicly.

You also forgot to mention about  the positive vibes about ETF but the problem now is there are lots of discussion and speculation about this ETF thing and on of those is JP Morgan that says this

JPMorgan says ETF optimism is overhyped, and Ether could overshadow Bitcoin in 2024

https://fortune.com/crypto/2023/12/14/jpmorgan-ethereum-ether-bitcoin-etf-hype/

maybe this is why bitcoin still holding at 40-44k and seems to be fighting to hit 45k .

The bad thing about big companies buying and holding BTC, is that they will dominate a large portion of the circulating supply. This will bring inequality to the Blockchain. Not only that, but it will make Bitcoin centralized in the long run. With major players like Blackrock, and Fidelity in the game, BTC will finally be "owned" by these corporations and the US government itself.

I know people won't care about this if this means market prices will go to the moon. They're missing the bigger picture of why Bitcoin was created in the first place. Remember, it's not about the money but rather the tech. As long as Bitcoin proves to be useful as a decentralized payments system, nothing else matters. Just my thoughts ;D

Yes, I think so, indeed people's confidence in the current movement may be enough to restore their confidence when the market is bearish. But I'm still half anticipating what future price increases will bring.

For now there may not be any reasonable bear that could take us back to anything less than $40,000 till next year halving is completely achieved and we keep moving forward from there onwards, the bitcoin price will always increases because there's always an increase in the bitcoin value, what the people want and appreciate alot will yield an increasing demands and and this alone will cause an increase in price, we should watch out on what next bitcoin all time high may be after this next halving.

Yes, it is true that news often influences bitcoin price movements. For example, when good news appears such as the endorsement of a well-known company, Bitcoin prices tend to rise due to increased investor interest and confidence. On the other hand, bad news such as tight regulations or security problems can cause prices to fall because they cause worry and investors will usually postpone.

All reasons that you have mentioned have some influential effects on bitcoin price and we cannot neglect any one reason among those mentioned by you. Supply and demand can fluctuates price of bitcoin in vast quantity so as demands increases then supply become limited therefore there is an inverse relationship between them.

As we search about cryptocurrency so at the top bitcoin is present because it is most acceptable coin and also has more potential to offer wealth making opportunities to its holders and overcome problems. Due to decentralised technology people often choose bitcoin because it is not in the hand of third party who will decide about your profit but it changes according to demand and supply.

Everyone wants money so it is foremost reason of accepting bitcoin because no other coin can ever be profitable like that of bitcoin this people prefer it as an investment tool to amplify profit.

Bitcoin price drops simply because the demand for Bitcoin has reduced. The opposite can be said for when Bitcoin prices increase. It simply means the demand for Bitcoin has increased. Every other fact is just stating what causes the increase and decrease in demand.
For example, the halving coming up will increase the demand for Bitcoin because a lot of people speculate that Bitcoin prices will increase after halving so they'll buy before the halving.
Fear of missing out is also a reason why many people buy.
SEC's approval of Bitcoin spot ETF is also a reason why many people are buying Bitcoin

If we knew why Bitcoin's price increases we'd become rich. There isn't a way to predict how it's going to perform because the variables sit on outcomes which aren't in our control. News about crypto regulations or whales dumping could affect. It's increased since you started the topic it's price was $37k now it's $42k so it could've been FOMO because halving isn't far.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin continues to increase. Today the price of Bitcoin is 27000$. It is assumed that the price of Bitcoin will increase further in the future. Many people want to know why this Bitcoin price is increasing.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the best and most trusted coin among all cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the right choice for a safe investment, but one can invest in other cryptocurrencies instead of Bitcoin to get a good return. There are very good and strong projects in the market right now where the investment has the potential to give us multiple returns in the future. If the price of Bitcoin goes from here to $100k dollars, we will not even get 2X profit, but if we get 10X profit in small coins, then surely it is more profit than Bitcoin. If we look at projects like Solana, Avax, and Chain Link, which have given multiplex profits to their investors even in this bear season, So we can say bitcoin is best in terms of safety, but altcoin is more suitable in terms of profitability.

I hope newbies don't get confused where it's better for them to invest after they'll read your post. It's true there's good ops for investors if they'll move funds in portfolios across more cryptos. If it's only bitcoin it's a safer solution for long periods but some ppl can't hodl. It's going to change again after halving because of FOMO so they'll need to guess good when they've got to dump.

Yes. Bitcoin always experiences price crashes, beware of FOMO and don't become a victim of this effect and it is not good for our trading health later. So, how low can prices go to see, one thing to pay attention to is that the RSI when the RSI is trending lower and far from the oversold area.

Perhaps I can conclude that the current price recovery is influenced by many factors including the sell off in bitcoin prices with a slow recovery in bitcoin prices and the recovery of confidence after the sale of bitcoin holdings. Some people may see it as a positive sign and the price increase may restore a small part of public confidence in bitcoin price developments.
However, I think it is possible that prices will remain stable.

If we knew why Bitcoin's price increases we'd become rich.
This is not true, people know the reason why the price of Bitcoin or any other asset increases or decreases. But has that made all the people rich? Maybe you misjudged it as you might wanted to say that we don't know when exactly the time the price of Bitcoin will start rising. Although, the last statement is still technically right as some people are poor in their speculations, nonetheless, the statement is still not necessarily true because there are many good speculators still, who see the market doing a thing even before the market does it. This is actually the power of speculation, and the more you know it, the better for you and the more you can earn from the market.

What I like to tell people is that the market is tricky and dynamic, this is what makes it look as if it is unpredictable. This is where the skills to predict it patiently come in, but it has to be learned, there is no other way. The trader must dedicate his time and be wise with it as well. With good speculations/predictions, traders can still have a 95% winning rate, yes, you heard me. Is that not enough to enrich yourself in trading? Yet, it is not everyone that will get to that level. That is why the market has not enriched a lot yet. That's also the difference from what you thought.

You talk as if you are a real expert and professional trader. But in reality it is not that simple and we would be really rich if we could read the market and find the reasons for price changes in advance. But in reality the number of successful traders is minimal. Agree that not many people bought bitcoin at 20k or even 30k to sell it now with a good profit.

What am I? A fake trader? How? Because I refuted this nonsense you spate out ("If we knew why Bitcoin's price increases we'd become rich")? Can you hear yourself? Why won't Bitcoin traders and investors know why it moved? Maybe you should go and show more knowledgeable people than you what I wrote, maybe they will tell you whether I am real or fake, and whether I am saying the right thing or not. How can a trader be saying "If we knew why Bitcoin's price increases we'd become rich"? That sentence is foolish in all senses, and if I may ask you, what is the reason for speculation and analysis? Or your dictionary didn't tell you that speculation predicts the future before the actually happens, and analysis lets you know what happens?

I simply don't know why you guys see it difficult to accept the fact. But before I drop it, even if you don't know who is who among many, if you see some good advice, appreciate it rather than running your mouth. As little as the percentage of traders who are successful, can you ever know maybe a few of them is in this forum? But your arrogance will never let you see that light.

today bitcoin price down, but in long time still uptrend and incrase price again
becuase next year 2024 bitcoin halving momentum bitcoin demand incrase high , so bitcoin price incraese too
the price is now very dynamic, it very often happens before major holidays and, of course, there is a rush for the next halving since it is approximately this spring and many expect explosive growth, which is why they are buying now. But since the market is very unpredictable, it is too early to draw conclusions whether this trend will hold until spring.

Halving momentum is always marked by price corrections from the bottom up as is happening now, but I also cannot predict what percentage of price correction will occur when the time starts to get too close to the halving. Because next year is getting closer and soon we will all leave this year with some pretty sweet memories.

Trends like this could last until next spring although it seems too early to judge this now on Bitcoin and the market. Because when there are many people who hope for very good price growth in Bitcoin and continue to buy according to their respective abilities from now on, of course this will be the main effect that will make the trend always last better in the market.

The price is increasing, yes, and the Halving is approaching. I think what we really need to think about is how big the correction will be. Because this is a very important issue for those who have not completed their investment or want to increase their investment amount. None of us know when or if this correction will occur, but it may make sense to act on this possibility.

Unexpected events often occur in the market. We do not know if such an event will occur in the future, but it is obvious that expectations will increase as the Halving approaches.

There's another prospect. Newbies to the forum don't have to be newbies to trading. I'd say ppl don't normally talk about failing before they've managed success but it isn't to conceal their past. They've been members here long so they're posting about other topics they've evolved after making their unsuccessful trades.

Right now, should be a good time to realize that if you really want to buy bitcoin then you should be careful about it, otherwise you are not going to get anything done and it will be much worse of you if you are not careful about it. I get that some people will want to make it work as much as they possibly could, but that doesn't mean that it will be enough. Bitcoin is something that gains momentum very quickly, when it goes up, it doesn't take years for it to go up, like how it takes years for it to go down.

So, you should be very quick with the trigger if you want to get in at the right time. I believe we have a very short window of opportunity right now and if we are late then we may still profit but a lot less because we got in too late. So, we should be making some money when we have the time, and it could definitely be something that would worth a lot of money and time as well, we need to make it work in order to keep it growing even bigger than this.

If ppl see the price's increased they'll try to buy but it's volatile so the price could be reduced after they've paid to buy. Triggering at the right time to sell or buy isn't easy. The next halving's going to bring more investors to bitcoin but FOMO isn't a solution which helps crypto.

The price is increasing, yes, and the Halving is approaching. I think what we really need to think about is how big the correction will be. Because this is a very important issue for those who have not completed their investment or want to increase their investment amount. None of us know when or if this correction will occur, but it may make sense to act on this possibility.
It is indeed very reasonable to take any action as an initial preparation regarding the possibility of a correction and also an increase in prices after it occurs. Because the halving moment is always welcomed by everyone and everyone always has high hopes for an increase in prices after the halving occurs, so it clearly makes sense to continue acting from now on.

Unexpected events often occur in the market. We do not know if such an event will occur in the future, but it is obvious that expectations will increase as the Halving approaches.
Unexpected things often happen every year in the market and this cannot be denied by everyone but they continue to witness it and feel it with pleasure. From before, everyone has also seen that halving always has a greater incentive to mobilize many people into the market so that price fluctuations in the market can continue to occur, especially in Bitcoin.

I don't know what you mean by very careful though, the price is going up we can understand that, but still it's a good price to enter as we all know that next year we will be having a great run, reaching new all time high. Maybe in the 6 digits are most of us predicted.

So, you should be very quick with the trigger if you want to get in at the right time. Look for long term investment in Bitcoin and it you could be good in my opinion. Just like last year, if we pull the trigger and bought at $15,500 last year, then looking at the price today, more than 150% profit? That is already huge.

Could it be that the price will shoot up to previous ATH before diving again back to the same level due to volatility?

Bitcoin halving many positive impact with increasing transaction volume and many people into the market for investing in bitcoin or altcoin, have positive viewed with bitcoin keep increasing exactly when few months left before halving due high traffic of investor come to the market and invest in bitcoin. Have been usual habit with many investor come to the market when close with halving because they want to earn profitable with short term without long term holding with their assets.

But don't prepare with bitcoin correction although have good moment with many people come to the market not guarantee bitcoin keep increasing up, be realistic with target profitable earn when investing in bitcoin.

but this is not coming this year at least? breaking the ATH is seems to be impossible
to happen and I think that ATh will come directly and will record another one after the Halving and t
his boost is just effect of the recent news and of course the yeah cycle in the last quarters showing
strong market.

wrong , there are people that wanted to buy when the price is dumping and those are
the investors that knows what they are doing.

It depends on the demand created by hype at certain point since if there's usual good news that can convince a lot of people to buy and then hold then we could provably see some good price insight and it maybe can surpass its past ATH price. Although there's less chance that it could happen but knowing bitcoin have surprise factor to the people who hold then everything about it is really so promising. Also for sure there's a lot of people will get hype on situation especially when they see that the price of keeps pumping so provably this will be the starting point for people to accumulate and save up for future usage.

How long is this term?
Nobody knows on when but lets keep hope we can see this in short period of time.

Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing?

Because it's an increasing asset.

Clever investors are going to buy when bitcoin's being dumped because they'll anticipate low bottom price's about to come. If investors buy at lowest prices to hodl they'll be repeating the system they've used before because they know it works. The investors who'll do it know what they're doing they don't see it as a risk.

If we look back through history, we tend to see bitcoin's price bounce back after it drops for a while.  I think this happens partly because there's only so much bitcoin available, making it something people trust when economies seem uncertain.

But that doesn't automatically mean bitcoins price will keep going up again.  There's always the chance it keeps going down instead, so people buying at the bottom might end up losing money rather than gaining any.

Looking through history it does show bitcoin's price bounce after it's dropped. Sometimes it bounced back early but it hasn't reached near ATH. I don't know why ppl believe it's always going up when we don't know if EFT ruling's going to bring the price down to low prices again.

Exactly my point here mate , they are taking the risk no matter what though
they don't see it as risk yet this is risky in emergency situation that you badly need that money
and the price go sideways.
Actually I understand this mate as i am also doing this sometimes(but of
course only small part of my holdings) because like what you said i am repeating this over and
over to make that amount increases its price continuously .

Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing?

Because it's an increasing asset.

We talk about the increase of Bitcoin price and we forget that it has a way of not staying at a particular price, for a very long while we have been seeing Bitcoin price struggling to surpass a certain amount each time it goes up every month and this month of December it has been finding it hard to get past $45k. And the question of why is the price always going down whenever it goes up?  It's an increasing asset but why go down whenever investors or traders expect it to go up?

We know Bitcoin is one of the most trusted long-term investments an investor can make. So we always plan to invest for long term with high returns and hold for future, it is the best investment. When the price of Bitcoin was $15000 people who bought it now must be in triple profit we can say without calculation. People have got so much profit in a short period of time, so if they invest for long term they can definitely earn more profit. So long term investment is most profitable than short term investment and people can earn huge amount of money from it.

Did you take into the account those who had purchased it for 69K?

Thats because strategic investors often capitalize on market downturns, anticipating the potential for future gains when buying assets at lower prices. This approach reflects their confidence in the market's cyclical nature and their ability to navigate it effectively. :)
