Title: is there any other way to know a user's merit history?
Post by: cafter on October 25, 2023, 09:57:21 AM
I want to know the merit history of user @colinistheman
just randomly i was reading a thread where i seen his profile to capture and post here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5251894.msg63051556#msg63051556)
Then I clicked on his/her merit history there was not earned merit in last 120days, Because he/she mostly post on altcoin boards.
I checked try ninja's website (https://ninjastic.space/), LoyceV's website (https://loyce.club/), And Bpip.org.
I didn't got a single thread or single reply of @colinistheman which was merited.

I think I don't know the way from which we can know about old merited threads.

You can get all the details of any user by visiting bpip.org. Just search the username of the individual and the merit history will be displayed along side other details such as merits sent and to who, top merits received and from who, merits earned in last 30 days, 60 days, 90 days and 120 days. Other information like ranks, trustline etc are also there.

I guess the reason you cannot see much about the merit history of the user is because the merits were earned beyond 120 days or probably airdropped

That account in question has not earned a single merit, all the merits were airdropped I guess that’s why you were unable to see any history when you used Loyce.club and bpip.org.

Another user that also helps in merit statistics is DdmrDdmr, so you could use his merit dashboard[1] to check if you can also use it to analyze data of users (I actually haven’t used it before so there’s nothing much I can say about it, but I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out on your own.)

His 1000 merits were airdropped before the merit system was introduced.

As for people who said to check through Bpip.org, there's no answer you will found like "this user get airdropped".

@OP you're open too much topis, it's better to use search engine first.

I guess the reason you cannot see much about the merit history of the user is because the merits were earned beyond 120 days
Nope, you can still view it in the earned merits.

The Bpip.org website you check provided you with the necessary answer.

The account just work up. This your thread would have been needless if you had use the search function. Since you have the answer to question you can simply lock the thread now

As for people who said to check through Bpip.org, there's no answer you will found like "this user get airdropped".

But the site will clearly state that such user hasn’t earned any merit or will indicate the number he the account has earned so that will actually give a head on

As already mentioned above, the user in question has never earned any merit.

What you said in that post is wrong.
The user is not a legendary member, because of low activity. The user has enough merit for being a legendary member and he will be still a hero member even he receives 1 more merit.

The user was a legendary member when the merit system was launched and received 1000 airdropped merit.
It seems that he/she deleted some posts and lose the activity and rank.

He has only 1000 merits and he is a legendary member before the merit system began in 2018. That means his merit was airdropped to his account. Legendary members were given 1000 merits with 500 smerits at that time.

It would be good if you can lock this thread now.
