If I could ask for 1 wish from a genie my wish would be to have 3 more wishes. Then I would ask for 1 billion dollars. I would also wish for the world to be more of a peaceful place and I would wish that My gf would let me put it in her butt more often and like it. Basicly life would be perfect

I wouldn't waste it asking for money, if you have time and brains you can always earn some. What I'd ask is the ability to extend life and heal others. All my friends and family would become immortal :)

Yeah. Knowledge, and perhaps ability to travel time. With that, would have bought like $4k of BTC, sold at the peak at 1k for BTc, for LTC which was currently was $5, then sold those at there peak at $48 back to BTC. Then get rid of all of it before IRS made there tax statement lol.

I am not sure is being immortal really cool - If I will had at least one immortal friend / gf with me - then it might be fun :)

Well being immortal you can probably become super smart and find a way to extend lifespans helps that we are in the digital age and that starts to become a feasibility heck extend their lives to 5000 years and we start getting into LOTR :).

Problem is that after one wish there is always something that goes wrong. You wish for a lot of cash - you can die next day. You wish for eternal life - you live in poverty and you are sick. You wish for love - you get it and then lose it. I am just contend I don't need to pick my wish.

Without wanting to give out too many details about the story, it kind of reminds me of The Vision of Escaflowne, which I mentioned before; people's wishes are often contradictory, and when they aren't, they can lead to competition and conflict. I'm not sure that can end well. :P

That could backfire pretty badly though. Imagine being effectively immortal and locked away in a cage somewhere for all eternity.  :P

So a suicide type of attack might come in handy instead of being captured and tortured for all eternity lol.

For actual immortality, I don't see how you could possibly find a way to kill yourself; it would be in contradiction to the whole concept if you could. Of course, this being mostly a "magical" attribute, as no organism has ever been found that was effectively immortal (tardigrades being close, but not quite there ;D), I guess there is plenty of room to imagine how this could work, and how one could get out of an unpleasant situation derived from it.

Now, something simpler, like not aging, would have some of the same benefits of immortality, plus you could still die by other means if the need arose.
