Fucking hell it feels like we were just talking about the 10th year anniversary last year; like I thought this year was just supposed to be its 11th or 12th birthday. Gahddamn.

Anyway, I'm pouring a glass tonight for this tech that caused to be really interested in money/finance.

Sheesh! It's 15 years already! How time flies! It looks like only yesterday when Satoshi was trying to publish the white paper.  This is a day worth celebrating in the history of Bitcoin as it has managed to beat all odds and thrived. Prior to Bitcoin, there has been several attempts at creating digital currencies like eCash, BitGold and HashCash but none of them saw the light of day like Bitcoin has done. No matter how much criticism and backlash it has received, it still is the highest valued digital currency to be created and as if he(Satoshi) knew that one day fiat will be in great trouble. Atleast we have him to thank for his foresight.
The Bitcoin white paper with it's 9 pages, twelve section long document is so detailed that I feel that financial institutions could borrow a leaf from the wealth of knowledge Satoshi Nakamoto poured into it.

 Well, let's raise a glass to this!🍻

It's been 15 years since the white paper was published I mean the white paper was really published in the aftermath of the financial crisis and offered all kinds of solutions to problems of that era, which persist even today. It is just beautiful to see that 15 years later bitcoin has come to fruition and it has offered a solution for the people who need it the most and governments and regulators are paying attention to it and we are using it for transactions.

It wasnt just words; it was a plan for change and a rallying cry to rethink our old banking systems. And look at where we are now. This unique whitepaper can be read in more than 40 languages. Its effect, reach, and resonance are undeniable and huge.

But there's an important problem that we need to face head-on: Are we making sure that the spirit of Bitcoin stays pure over the years? Or are we getting off track because of quick wins and flashy things? Nakamoto's ideas were complicated, deep, and multilayered. Right now, every Bitcoin fan and crypto investor needs to dig deep, ask questions, and think about what they're doing. Are we going in the right direction, or are we just skimming the surface?

It definitely went by so fast. The 15th anniversary is still young in terms of the market age. It seems that no matter what you have done, in the past, it's important that you continue to support BTC and look into the future.

It's best to focus on the betterment of everybody and not just one. Cheers!

Yes, bitcoin is still in it's infancy at 15th anniversary of the WhitePaper, but it seems though that we have been in this market for many years already. That's how time flies with bitcoin and this community as a whole. And we should be looking in the next 15 years or even 150 years. Specially that there are good news around. Block halving next year could be the biggest in it's history as it's touted to bring the price into the 6 digit figure for the first time.

It's best to focus on the betterment of everybody and not just one. Cheers!

Cheers to everyone, and we can't thank enough the man who created Bitcoin to us.

15 years... just think about this number... 15. How many difficulties Bitcoin has went through, how many people changed their lifes in better way. I hope story will carry on and we will see more good consequences of BTC existence. Satoshi did probably the most important contribution to society in 21 century.

The whitepaper, of a P2P Electronic Cash System, or I just call it P2P payment mode known as Bitcoin, I'm really proud to be a part of this emerging system.

Stoshis seems like was so naughty, he dropped this bomb on the day of Halloween the Nightmare of the Banking system and traditional Finance. It's not a good time for a celebration, is it? Because the goal is still far away when it comes to the adoption level.

Cheers  :-*

It doesn't feel that the bitcoin Whitepaper was 15 years ago which at that time I didn't know anything about bitcoin. Yeaahhh this is a celebration at the same time as Halloween October 31, we see so many celebrations on Social Media, they are happy for bitcoin lovers now.

It's really great.

23 years have passed in the 21st century,  ::) , anyway, I remember that some technology magazine from the early nineties or 80s, perhaps popular mechanics, mentioned that in the 21st century we would have flying cars, perhaps it was referring to Drones (!?) anyway, the truth is that of those 23 years of the 21st century we have 15 with bitcoin, without a doubt for now better than a self-flying car, I say it is safer to have bitcoin.

Happy 15!!

While this makes me feel like Bitcoin is now longer a brand new thing, conversely it also makes me realize how young Bitcoin is. A global currency, only 15 years old! Bitcoin is maybe out of its infancy, but its still a toddler working on learning to walk.

I think in another 15 years we will be talking about Bitcoin starting to reach adolescence and finally starting to be used transactionally by people.

Here's to the next 15 years of the world's best ever currency and what will go down as one of the most startling inventions of the 21st century!

A decade and a half of tremendous goodness, indeed! The rate at which Bitcoin developed is really astonishing to the point that one would think it was created some three decades or more ago. Satoshi, (whoever that dude is (are), deserves a mention as one of the most influential people of this century.

Yes, I know the aim of the P2P angle to Bitcoin as captured on the document's first page is valued less than the asset part of it today. I guess the latter part is even what has drawn more people to Bitcoin than the payment option and P2P part. All the same, it's still a win-win for Bitcoin and we celebrate Satoshi for all that.

Time is so fast we don't fully know how the initial journey was but it was very impressive with the 15th anniversary of the bitcoin white paper.

Technology continues to evolve, bitcoin continues to gain popularity around the world maybe this will change the world? Either way we look forward to the coming year. ;)

In just 15 years, Bitcoin has had a significant impact and changed people's financial systems for the better. And in that, She never seems to stop a bit. You can then imagine how the people on Earth will feel about her presence in terms of cost once she has been here for up to three decades($1milloon piece tag I think)

I had no idea that from 2008 to 2023 is 15 years today. I think that something that has been around the globe for up to 15 years and is still expanding shouldn't be let down or have a disbelief on, instead, one should be grateful that bitcoin has persevered despite all the obstacles the government, media, and the haters of bitcoin have thrown at it to quench her existence not to soar in price but instead it does otherwise by leaving them disappointed by proving to them wrong that bitcoin can't be controlled by the government or anybody, and they can't dictate her future price and purpose of creation

If anything bitcoin is more relevant than ever, since governments despite the opportunity to do so decided to do nothing to at least reduce the chances of a new economic crisis happening, and since then fiat currencies have been printed to an astonishing rate, and while this in part has helped bitcoin to become more popular, considering the negative consequences this brought and it will keep bringing I would have preferred governments changed their posture, but I doubt this will happen and this will make this day more meaningful for more people as the years go by as people realize how important is this document.

Like the Bible (though can't be compared), I must say that the bitcoin whitepaper is one of the most popular documents in the world today, i was actually very astonished when i learnt that the whitepaper is available in several languages, A man, or group of persons indeed invented something that seem to be the highest of all inventions, even as simple as it looks or feels.

Bitcoin seem to be a more powerful invention than any other thing in this century, and it sometimes pains me that Satoshi choose to remain anonymous in all of this, even with all the glory and praises he or they should be enjoying by now, he or they choose to give up all of this by remaining anonymous, what other sacrifice to humanity is greater than this, aside Jesus Christ choosing to dying on the cross for the entire world?

Satoshi Nakamoto is indeed a Legend.

Am really grateful to Satoshi for his eternal gift to the world. I was propelled to go through the whitepaper today. because of this news.

I understood that Satoshi went through a thorough research.  It was easy to read, with clarity and very straightforward to the point. Even for those who are not tech savvy they can go through it and understand the vision.  He references Dai's b-money and other individuals who attempted to create digital cash before him. The whitepaper and its citations make for interesting reading, particularly for anyone are interested in this part of blockchain revolution. It's quite obvious how other blockchain founders get to go through Bitcoin whitepaper before building their own chain.

Wow, that is a good one for reminding and sharing the information of Bitcoin 15years anniversary and very soon Bitcoin will be fully accepted as a means of online digital payment and more faster than local banking system operation.
