Gambling is not any means of making money. This is where the addiction start.
Gambling is fun, if you can continue to gamble responsibly.
Have a gambling budget and do not let it be more than 5% of your weekly income
Control your emotion. If you lose for the day, stop gambling. Do not be tempted.

The key advise any new gambler must take is that gambling is not supposed to be done when you have not figured out how to survive without the money you invested in or targeted to win. You should only gamble when you have a job or another means of generating income. Let gambling just be another stream of income that should be done with a little fraction of your money such that you can afford to loose it.

Secondly, whenever you have a good win, withdraw the money and use it immediately in something very important that you can remember and appreciate. Don't keep gambling and hoping to win more whenever you have had a major win. Don't give back the money to you win, it is not the right thing.

Finally,  treat gambling as a game of probability because nothing is sure. Don't be greedy and don't be desperate.

Simply deposit only what you can afford to lose. Bet only small percentage of your bankroll and never increase your bet to an insane percentage whenever you are experiencing lose streak because you can still recover if you will just play the same and stay focus since the game has only minimal house edge.

Just make sure you are still enjoying while playing or else just stop gambling because the purpose of gambling to make you entertained by the time you play. Profit will just follow if you are consistent on your game and doesn’t subject to any abnormal increase of bet when tilted.

Evaluate yourself with a professional to determine if you are prone to being addicted to gambling or any other activity, those are the best first dollars you should spend, the best first bet you can make.

If you are going to be a recreational or frequent player, decide well before you start placing bets.

Finally, do not believe in that fallacy of 5% of your income to play, you should not take any amount of your budget to burn in the game, use extra money, get an alternative source of income.

Choose carefully which games your skills are best in, and always stay informed, there is a lot of documentation that you should read.

That's the first step that every gambler should pay attention to, especially for those who are new to the world of gambling, always about setting the amount of budget that you can be responsible for whatever the final result is, I understand that there are opportunities in gambling but what is certain and what has been proven is that usually the final result is more often losing than winning, so that's why as we know now more and more people are suffering from large amounts of loss, none other than that because they are too serious and bring the wrong mindset to gambling. Gambling is nothing more than a fun activity, so don't be fooled by the name of opportunity, because on the other hand there is no guarantee and certainty for you to win.

So yes of course the amount of budget that is not excessive will have an important role as one of the precautions, because I'm not sure you can accept if the final result loses when carrying a large amount of budget that you cannot afford. Right, make sure we will stay awake in each of our gambling sessions, after all this is just an activity that relies on luck alone no more than that.

Just don't borrow money to gamble and only gamble with money you are prepared to lose. That's the only advice that novice gamblers should listen to so as not to get trapped in debt that they shouldn't have. Because most gamblers often get caught in problems like this and newbies shouldn't follow in these footsteps.

Gambling actually has both good and bad sides but when the bad side outweighs the good side, gambling causes serious harm. Especially those who are interested in getting involved in new gambling should consider gambling as a part of entertainment. Gambling should never be taken as a source of income. Moreover, those who are newly interested from the young children of the family should keep away from practicing gambling. Moreover, such students should never involve themselves in gambling as they suffer in studies.

Just like playing at gambling using fiat currency. Register an account, deposit to be able to play and withdraw if you need it when you win.
Select the type of crypto you will make a deposit. At the casino where you have registered an account, you will definitely see the type of crypto option you will choose to make a deposit.

There is nothing difficult that I can tell you.
If you want advice, know that gambling involves losing and winning. Don't be disappointed if you lose because winning is difficult to achieve continuously.

As a beginner in gambling, it's important to remember that it's meant for enjoyment, not as a way to make a living. If you start thinking of it as your survival, you might end up among those who struggle with addiction. This could lead you to borrow money for gambling, not set limits, and get too emotional while playing. Being a responsible gambler means keeping control to prevent becoming addicted.

It doesn't have to be the ones learnt the hard way, we don't have to scare the newbies with our touchy stories in other not to let them loose interest, newbies should know that gambling should be enjoyed as a means of having fun, getting entertained and being lifted from heep of loads of stress, we should also consider that risk involved, we should gamble with the money we can afford loosing to gamble, we should not borrow money, we should gamble responsibly and avoid being addicted, being a gambler is not an avenue of being irresponsible.

Ask yourself first why you need to gamble, what is your motivation and your mindset, is it to make money, is it for entertainment, do you have a strong character that will not lead you to go astray and become addicted to gambling, be honest without yourself if you are ready then don't allocate more than you can afford to lose and just enjoy.

For me chasing losses, I should have stopped and been contented when I already won a good amount, but I kept going thinking that I could recover all my past losses and that's the biggest mistake I've made, one of the hardest things a gambler faced is how and when to stop they keep going until they get burned or lose everything.
Be sure to take things easy and remember all you've learned and read when faced when a tough decision, the bottom line is always enjoy the game, you're a winner if you log out feeling satisfied.

Just gamble with extra money. Don't use your hard earned money in gambling it will cause you trouble. Gambling as what others have said just make it as your pastime. Gamble responsibly. One of some problems affecting most gamblers is that chasing loss or the opposite might end you so badly.

Start with a small amount of money, don't try for a huge amount especially when you are unaware whether the casino is reputable which leads to the most important advice, make sure the casino you play with is reputable and not a scam.

Since you are already here int he forum, update yourself all the time because this will make you aware of new casinos to try out. Take advantage of the free bets they offer.

What extra money? The extra money also are hard earned money. But just that the money should be very small and should be considered as money that has been lost. You are not wrong that gamblers should not chase losses becuase that is the time a gambler can continue to deposit money and continue to lose. But not only that, with little winning, a gambler should quit for the day becuase that day may still lead to losses if continuing gambling.

What are you looking for in the world of gambling?
If you want to make money, gambling is not an effective place to make money. When you are addicted to gambling, it will be very difficult to control yourself from visiting gambling places. If you want to have fun, you will not be approached by what is called addiction because you can control yourself when gambling or become a responsible gambler. I mean, you only spend the money that has been provided to spend when you want to play.
Always control your emotions when gambling, if you lose control when gambling, you will forget all your original goals when you started gambling.

Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

Avoid playing games that you are not familiar and always check the currency you are using before you place a bet because some casino automatically convert your balance to USD and some casino let you use your original deposit currency to place bet. This is dangerous because you might thinking betting in USD but in reality your currency is set to mbtc or other currency that has high value than USD.  I learn this the hard way when I’m new on slot game although I rarely saw a casino that doesn’t use standard USD currency on in game bet.

Lastly, Play only on reputable casino and avoid using unknown casino just because they offer too good to be true bonuses because it will be a painful loss once they halt your withdrawal when you won. Just stick to trusted brand.

The only advice to the new gamblers is they should not get addicted to the gambling, because playing gambling will not affect the gambler at any point. But keep their full earning to the gambling will affect them a lot.Because gambling had the two sites of the game,So gambler should keep in mind the money placing had both chance of loss or gain.So taking gambling responsibility also the important one, because blame of the gambling site after the loss is not the really gone one.The professional gambler will not do the gambling site blame after the loss in the gambling.Because they know the process of the gambling and both win, loss possible in the gambling.

if you are new, just try the faucets first. there are casinos that have faucets where you can use those coins to bet on the casino. these are casinos that have no live games though but if you are going for those live games without experience, it will be a whole new thing for you and you could get hooked without a fair chance. get addicted while losing money is not a good thing.

as for a better experience, try sports betting. there is the best chance of learning about the entire sports industry and you get to learn how to make money betting.

Welcome to crypto gambling. I hope you enjoy the games that exist in this industry. As long as you do it, observe first and don't be in a hurry to gamble a high amount of money that you will make in the game.

Maybe you also have an idea that usually gamblers lose here when gambling in the casino. So what you should do is just gamble as a hobby and don't let yourself get into an addiction in the future so that you don't get into trouble later too.

Gambling is actually fun to play, but you must be a responsible person if you want to enter gambling. You must know how to handle money to be able to budget, control your emotions. When you notice that you are having too much fun in gambling and your bets are getting bigger, you should control it or stop it. Gambling is fun especially if you think of it as just entertainment, don't think too much about your losses. If you can't help it, just think of it as payment for the entertainment you got from gambling. You will enjoy gambling even more.

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

Crypto gambling is one of the gambling platforms that is quite fair and responsible to each of its customers.
Here I don't know if you are really a person who is new to gambling. or just a newcomer to crypto gambling, but has played gambling on a different platform that is not affiliated with crypto?

And if you are a person who has just started gambling and as a newcomer to the world of crypto gambling, then my advice is "be a wise and responsible gambler". And the first thing you have to learn before you really decide to get into gambling is not about how you can get a big profit in gambling. but about how you will always be able to control yourself and your finances for the gambling you do. Learn first about the risks when playing gambling, not about the benefits of playing gambling.
It is true that getting a big win in gambling is a hope for everyone who is involved in the world of gambling.  But you need to know that without a good self-control, then no matter how big the winnings you get will run out again into gambling. So you will not have time to enjoy or utilize the winnings on other things, besides gambling.

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling?

My advice is simple but crucial: Start slow and educate yourself! I learned the hard way that impulsivity can lead to costly mistakes. Take the time to understand the games, odds, and the dynamics of cryptocurrency transactions. Embrace responsible gambling, set limits, and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Crypto casinos can be thrilling, but they can also be ruthless, so play with caution and patience. Learn from others' experiences, be a part of forums like this, and build a network of fellow players who can share their wisdom. And remember, it's not about chasing huge wins; it's about enjoying the ride and having fun in the crypto casino world while keeping your finances safe. Good luck and may your bets be wise! 🎲💰🚀

And if you are too much confused about what platforms to start with, Check out jacksclub.io (http://jacksclub.io)
We have active bonuses and low competition as we are fairly new!

I've learned there aren't safe bets, and that is a mistake many newbies commit, because they think if they wager small bets on automatic mode while using Martingale strategy, they are going to build their bankroll progressively on long term. However, that is a big illusion, which will only drain your money to zero.

The belief of growing a bankroll progressively through gambling is another mistake from newbies. They think it's easy to start wagering with a small sum of money like 10$ or 20$ and raising it infinitely the more they play.

Things get really serious when first expectations aren't met, so they keep putting more and more money on the table to recover previously lost sums. And that is when newbies lost control over their bankroll and end losing more money than they could afford to lose.

You have to make a choice between sports bets or casinos and also learn how to play games before you start staking. For you to be effective in gambling you need to have basic knowledge about the games you intend to venture in. Reading the terms of service is a must, never see it as a waste of time. You need to know your rights and privileges as well as your responsibility and this can be seen in the terms of service. Choose only reputable casinos, especially the ones that are licensed and have few issues with customers.

Gambling is not a major source of income or a full-time job so you don't have to see it as such. Don't rely on wins from gambling for your basic needs because the outcome is highly unpredictable. If you want to enjoy gambling, see it as a form of entertainment. It is also important to have a gambling plan that will help you coordinate the time and money you spend on betting. Some gamblers have become addicted because they are chasing losses, hence my advice is to forget about trying to recover losses by all means.  In summary, always stake what you can afford to lose.

Gambling is not any means of making money.
Why? Gambling is a means of making money. For casino owners. Here's what needs to be clarified.

This is where the addiction start.
And it ends where there is a lack of money, housing, property, debts, evil creditors and turned away friends and relatives.

Gambling is fun, if you can continue to gamble responsibly.
Gambling is fun parting with your money. Sounds better this way and closest to the truth.

Have a gambling budget and do not let it be more than 5% of your weekly income
This will get out of control very quickly and 5% will turn into 15%, 25%, 50%. Even 95%

Control your emotion. If you lose for the day, stop gambling. Do not be tempted.
This is the most difficult thing. If a person starts playing, this already means a lack of control over emotions. He's doomed.

When it comes to gambling, it has always been learning the hard way.
You just stated crypto gambling. What do you prefer? Casino games or Sports betting? Those two differ way far because in sports betting you can somehow increase your chance to win by analyzing your preferred game. If you are good at it then profits will probably be easier for you.
In casino games, it will be difficult except if you are choosing to play live casino games which I think have a better chance to win than using the default games in the platform, the originals.
I suggest you learn the process first, don't forget to check the TOS, the withdrawal fees, the sign-up bonuses, the other bonuses (weekly, monthly)if you become a VIP, KYC, and a whole lot more. Before you dive in, you have to be sure that whatever gambling site you are using is legitimate with a good reputation. That's always the first step and please don't forget that so you won't have any troubles later on.

  • Always try to read a Casinos Terms and Conditions before you register and fund your wallet.
  • I prefer to use USDT over Bitcoin for gambling. I do so to avoid the transactions fees that is very unstable
  • Do not access a crypto casino website with a VPN
  • At the beginning stick with slots which is luck based before you diversify to try your hands on skill based games

One practical advice is to moderate your gambling activity @OP.  Moderation is an act of responsible gambling.  This simply show that you are in control of your gambling activity.  This include gambling with funds that you can afford to lose and not staying overtime to play gambling games.  This will maintain your effectivity in your work if you are currently working because you give ample time for rest, gambling and work.

You should always read the terms and conditions if you are to register in a casino.  This is to ensure that you know the rule of the casino and know what to avoid to keep your account safe.  You can also ask customer support if there is something you do not understand or wanted to clarify things to make sure that your following actions will not breach the casino terms of service.

Just do it if you have extra money and you won't have to use it for an immediate purpose. Make sure that you have paid everything that you need to do and have the ability to know when to stop because you will never know that you might end up losing everything or something.

Make sure to limit yourself and know when to stop.

My advice is that don't see gambling as a get rich quick scheme, and also you need to understand the possible risk of losing everything you have on gambling, you should also understand the need to stop for a while if the gambling is not favouring you at the moment.

We know that every goals of a gamblers is to make money but you shouldn't allow the goal to cloud your gambling judgement were as becoming addicted that no matter how much you lose, you are still positive that you are going to win as such making you to be gambling the more. Also don't always gamble because you saw others wining perhaps what favours them may not favour you so just gamble whenever you feel is right for you and also only gamble with the little money you can afford and no that it will not affect you if you lose it.

The gambler should not gamble if they are not afford that loss of the using money.Incase the gambler need of huge money from the holding money, then it’s not the right choice to use the gambling to multiple the money.Because gambling itself had the negative side of losing. The trading also had the negative side of dump market,So it’s better to keep away from the gambling with the money need for the current need. Most of the gambler will use the free money in the gambling,it will be the better option for the gambler to get away from the problem. The extra money from the income can be used for the gambling entertainment for the gamblers.

The biggest advice I would give anyone new in the world of gambling would be: Not expect to earn money or get rich from this. Because expectation (specially in this kind of industry where randomness is king) is the root of all the unsavory experiences gamblers can have and end up suffering in the long term.

I would also suggest you to check which crypto currency suit your needs the most, because we all talk about Bitcoin most of the times, but perhaps you are the kind of person who would like to save on fees and get instant deposits, specially when the mempool is full with garbage.

If you are considering to get into sport betting, then I would encourage you to only bet in those sports you really feel passion about and would be happy to follow in the long term.
Have fun and good luck, mate.

You are very right, gambling in itself carries a good level of risk, so going by this, advised that every gambler should engage in gambling with free money as you have called it.

I sometimes like to think logically though, and If I am to begin to think deep into the kind of money you refer to as free money, I did say that there is no free money anywhere, though I will want to assume that what you meant or assumed to be free money is money one can afford to lose, like I said in my comment that you quoted, but using the term "free money" to describe that is actually wrong, since money saved up can be considered as free money by some people, and that does not imply that they ready or willing it lose it.

my advice would be that people should look at gambling as just fun and not look for profits, because what ends up happening when a person looks for profits in gambling is that that person starts to get frustrated whenever they lose money, and it is always that person he will keep putting more money into the casino to recover the money he lost in the previous sections and this is the most serious problem, and that gambling games were designed so that the house always wins, even if a person spends years playing, nothing will give him a guarantee that this person will make a lot of money and there is something that I have seen that it seems to me that many people forget

for example, a person puts 50$ in the casino and spends days playing and losing, to the point of losing all 50$, then that same person puts in another 50$, plays for many days and loses everything. while that person is losing, he doesn't tell anyone about these losses, but when that person is playing and gets 0.30$ and puts it in a big multiplier and wins 80$, then that person is very happy and posts his winnings, but that person They forget that they have already lost $100, that is, even if they have earned $80, that person still suffers losses. That's why I hope people always pay close attention to this to avoid thinking that because they won with a big multiplier they are already in profit, when that's not true.

Always gamble for fun. There is no guarantee to win in gambling, so never take it seriously but gamble for entertainment purposes only. And when you gamble, never bet using your credit card but stick to your spare cash that you can easily afford to lose, that way gambling addiction will be avoided. Set your own betting amount and time limit, so you can minimize the amount you spend and the amount you are losing. And lastly, when you gamble, be open for losses and expect that most of the time you will lose than make profits. Never chase for your losses, but accept them and understand that to gamble is to lose.

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

The key piece of advice I'd have for newcomers to betting is to maximize your bonuses, as casinos and sportbooks are willing to throw a lot of money at people in the form of one off welcome bonuses - but you might get very little out of them after that point. Read up on all the rules and make sure you understand them, you can try reaching out to the support team if there are any points that you need clarifying in order to maximize your bonuses. Do all that before placing any bets, as you might break a rule or disqualify yourself if you do not follow the offer exactly. Besides that, players should also fully understand the rules and the riskiness of the game that they choose to bet on, because there are all sorts of engineered pitfalls out there.

First things first, don't take gambling too seriously to the extent that you will consider it a source of income.

Don't chase lose; when ever you enter a game and you lose all the money you happen to have funded your account with, learn how to stop and look for other things to do, and don't be the type that always chases lose, as it will result in you losing more than you have already lost before, and this is what usually leads to addiction.

Learn how to control your emotions; to be a responsible gambler, you need to learn how to put yourself in others shoes at every given time, no matter the outcome of the game. Do not allow losing too much to affect your judgement, as most people usually play due to anger, or even when they stop playing, they take the anger from their losses aside from society and those close to them.

I guess that you are up to the required age to engage in gambling, Therefore don't gamble with the hope of becoming rich, gamble responsibly and also for fun so that you don't get addicted in the process.
Never chase to recover your losses, avoid gambling with greed, and use the money that you can afford to lose because it is a game of 50/50 kind of chance, profit and loss.

The funny thing is that - even if we all give you experiences we've all learnt in years even before you knew about gambling, you'll still fall for some of them.... Why?? Cus most of those experiences are virtually there to guarantee your success and prediction strength.

it's safe to say " you're reading whatever experience here just to have a clue on whatever is happening in the gambling industry" not to get away from it... "If you accept it, you can't retract it" lol

The most important advice is that if you don't want to lose money, then stop or don't start playing crypto gambling at all, because whatever you do, no matter what techniques, skills, or luck, losing money in gambling is inevitable. And if your purpose in playing gambling is to earn money or if you rely on gambling to have money, then stop also. Gambling is gambling; no matter what you do, you will lose some money.

But if your purpose is to have fun and entertainment, then go play gambling, and if you really want to do crypto gambling, then we can't stop you. It's just a warning; learn to control yourself and discipline because without that, you could get the most common problem of a gambler, "addiction," and I know you know what it will cost you if you fall into that situation. So if you still continue, then gamble moderately; as they said, gamble only the money you can afford to lose.

  • At the beginning stick with slots which is luck based before you diversify to try your hands on skill based games

That's a strange advice.
You assume that someone who is new to crypto gambling is also new to gambling in general and OP clearly asks about crypto gambling newcomers.
Someone can be really good at poker or blackjack and just wants some advice on how to approach crypto casinos and you tell them to go play slots :D
What if someone doesn't like slots? I don't like this game and I don't play it.

My advice is to read scam accusations against a casino before you start playing there. You'll see how their support solves problems and if they respond at all.
You don't want your money to be stuck for weeks until someone fixes it for you and that's a common problem with crypto casinos.

Not only new comer but to  those who are even planning to gamble in online specially casino in crypto .

-Make sure that you know how to control yourself .

-Take time to analyze your budgeting before doing first deposit.

-Know how much you wanted to earn each sessions.

Those 3 are my contribution , And also about experiences? try not to chase your losses because thats how I fail many times in my early days of gambling here.

never desire to become millionaire , instead be contented in 100-300 percent winning .

Gambling is not any means of making money. This is where the addiction start.
Gambling is fun, if you can continue to gamble responsibly.
Have a gambling budget
Control your emotion.

If you can do 4 of this point, I think you are gonna be safe from the gambling addict and related one.

Only do gamble for fun and keep in mind that you have to ready that your money is going to lose

Control your emotion and if you win that is bonus

My advice to beginners is don't be too tempted by promotions that are advertised in gambling. We have to think intelligently can gamble but don't occasionally consider gambling to make money because that is very difficult to achieve. Set a budget with the minimum limit possible so thats we can get away from gambling without continuing to chase these losses, it is important for beginner to remember thats gambling will not maked us rich, we will enrich the casino owner, so use gambling as wisely as possible so as not to experienced bad thing that will happens to ourselves.

For beginners don't gamble if you can't stand losing your money. Because in gambling that's inevitable. So have less expectation to win and only use the money that you can live without (one of the basic rules). Usually, the mindset of new gamblers who decided to gamble is, it's easy to win huge based on the advertisement where they get attracted to play. But unfortunately it's not easy as it seems, the reason why new gamblers should be aware of the risk. Because you don't have to learn the hard way to realize something if you can prevent this from happening.

Just play for fun and no matter how much your mind wants to chase losses and hope that you will win, follow your set principle on how long you're going to gamble. In fact, when the time that that kind of stuff is ringing through your head (chasing losses), that's probably a good time to stop gambling even if you still have any remaining funds for your gambling session for that day. Trust me, when the lose streak comes, it's inevitable that you're going to see more losses because you're having more and more problems thinking straight because you want to win so bad.

Don't jump into the hard lessons that you need to learn along the way because all have different perspectives and also have different hard lessons to learn. What you need to learn first are the basics, for you to avoid any avoidable inconvenience.

Choose a crypto you are convenient using with when betting.

Select a reputable gambling platform, read some reviews to identify which platform is better. And of course read the TOS.

Don't start gambling with huge amount, and don't get yourself being used to in betting huge amount, just keep it small.

Good advice, promotions and bonuses sometimes will only make beginners lose more money because they are trying to chase it and when they get a bonus it can have the effect of making it difficult to stop playing or betting because of the desire to be able to make more money.
Things like this will be the beginning for beginners who have the potential to become gambling addicts and find it difficult to control themselves.

The first thing that novice gamblers must always think about is the risk, accepting every loss and also how to gamble in controlled manner.

I don't usually recommend trying slots first. They are expensive games. The cheapest bet is $0.01 and if you lose 1000 times then that's $10 which for a starter is going to hurt a bit and might traumatize him. Worse, it can go x5000 times with mostly a loss and the bonus might not even come out.
I'd recommend the originals first. You could bet for as low as $0.001 or even lower than that. Test the waters. Don't jump in with a serious amount of bet because you might lose it in an instant.
In my own experience, I was lucky when I was a non-VIP player and I could double my capital by playing small bets although it will take a long time to happen. But the good part here is the increase in wagering amount which means an addition to the bonuses that will be given weekly and monthly.
When it comes to casino games we have to be wise about spending our money because it's not easy to get multiple wins as the house edge is damn high that it will take time before we could luckily get a multiple win that will surprise us.

- There's no better advice than ensuring you have adequate knowledge to make cryptocurrency investment a part of your portfolio rather than a gamble. In my personal opinion, cryptocurrency is more suited for investment than gambling because of its significant growth potential.
- The next step is to determine what you need and how you plan to navigate this market. Is it purely for entertainment, or are you in it for serious investment? Having a clear purpose will prevent you from getting lost or blindly following others, which could lead to losses.
- Importantly, start with a small initial investment to gain market experience. I believe this is the most critical step. You should be prepared to risk a small amount initially to gain experience. Avoid excessive greed and risking a large sum that might affect your life and mental well-being.

There are many things that newcomers who enter the world of gambling must learn. They must learn self-control or already have self-control and can also become responsible gamblers. They must know what impacts gambling can have on them so they must really be able to control themselves so they don't gamble excessively. Maybe it will be difficult for them to learn it because in gambling, there will be many temptations that come to them. For this reason, if they can learn better self-control, they don't need to worry about problems that might arise while they gamble. They can also enjoy gambling as entertainment and not to make money because gambling is not for making money.

Secondly, whenever you have a good win, withdraw the money and use it immediately in something very important that you can remember and appreciate. Don't keep gambling and hoping to win more whenever you have had a major win. Don't give back the money to you win, it is not the right thing.

Getting your winnings out of a centralised system is very necessary and advisable, but being in a hurry to invest the money somewhere might end up giving the person the wrong investment decision. I know money that's kept at a place can't remain in the same volume for ever, but it's better to hold it strong when you make out a reasonable and profitable investment plan, as the wrong one can sink that whole fund without you even realising it.

Quote
Finally,  treat gambling as a game of probability because nothing is sure. Don't be greedy and don't be desperate.
I don't think there is too much greed these days in gambling; it's just a matter of taking risks and how determined the person can be when it comes to their wager decision. Although there is a little bit of greed in gambling, to me the risk is what's mostly the driving force, so one just needs to learn how to reduce those risks, which can lead them to losing everything.

Another thing I will add to the OP is that having a stable source of income before getting involved in gambling will help them stay focused. At least it's during their free period from work and family that they will spend some of that time on gambling and work instead of putting their focus and their survival on gambling. It will also help them to only gamble for the fun and not what they can gain from winning at the end of the day.

What they need to prepare for new gamblers is to clearly understand the rules of the game they want to play. We must gamble with knowledge. The second thing is my experience, and I want to share my experience with these new people. It is foolish to advise you to bear many losses from the money we invest. Feel that loss. And learn to get used to losing in gambling. Know how to control yourself when you lose. That's a way to spend money to buy valuable lessons.
I don't want to see new gamblers win the first game they play. It could be a bottomless pit waiting for them.

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

If you are ready to learn then listen attentively to the following warnings.

1. The most popular mistakes that gamblers made easily is turning gambling into a source of income, if gambling can be used as real source of income everyone will be doing it publicly and also everyone will be living fine.

2. There is no easy part to making money, and with gambling its even more harder than concentrating on your business and jobs, accept that nothing comes easily and also accept that nothing is totally free, there is always a price to pay.

3. The price of gambling is losing money most times but what you might reap can be disastrous to your life and your health, it depend on who you really are and how strong your mind is, gambling isn't for the weak, because a weak minded gambler can easily become.addicted to gambling.

4. The most important part of gambling is to never expect any high returns from it, shift your money making ideas into something you can control yourself, with gambling it's all about luck and no one have the power to control it, so risk only what you can afford to lose.

I don't have a lot to say to you newbie because gambling have never affected me in the past and that's because I have seen how it destroyed few people living around me years back, and today some are still battling the addiction they have for gambling, they don't know how to stop.

In my opinion, it's really important to understand what provable fairness is and how it works to be able to allow anyone to verify the randomness of their bets. This is something that crypto gambling popularized so we must really cherish it and learn how to use it to our advantage so we can never be cheated  from a casino provider.

Other than that, also learn what house edge means and how this can be used to your advantage. For instance, games with a higher house edge are harder to win with more consistency in the long run. Generally games like roulette, slots and live games will have a higher house edge.

If you'd like to do away with house edge there's always poker tables. And if you don't like chance-based games at all you could still place some bets on sports.

Of a truth, a lot of lives have been transformed through gambling but I'll strongly advice that you do not get carried away by all these so good to be true testimonies. You might be tempted to make decisions that you will use years to correct or recover.  Do not let greed push you into a deep loss.

Have a job aside gambling, have a hobby too. Putting all your hope in gambling can be disastrous. Not only will it drive you into addiction,  it is capable of making you lose all you already had.

Never you borrow funds to gamble. Have a gambling budget and be disciplined enough to stick to it. You might gamble with your school fees or rent if you do not have a gambling limit.  Gambling is fun but do it wisely.

Some people are better off without gambling, they always have hard time controlling their emotions when gambling, if you are this type of person it's better you try your luck with something else and not gambling.

You need to be disciplined enough to always be in control of yourself, to avoid falling at the feet of gambling addictions, do not risk high amount of money because you can gamble twenty times on a casino before having a one win, if you are using a big amount you would have wasted it all away because your aim is to net yourself fat reward.

Those who gamble responsibly are always fond of using small money, I still use $10 to gamble yesterday on a gambling platform and I win very little amount, but I am satisfied because earning money isn't the main goal of gambling for me, it's a part but having fun is also a part too.

Do not let others successful gambling stories affect you, most who have won a lot through gambling can't still live without gambling and they always give it all back to gambling, that's one hell of a big problem with gamblers, they don't know how to quit, even after they made that life changing money luckily.

Beginners in crypto gambling should never bet more than they can afford to lose.  I learned this the hard way by watching swings that would confuse a veteran trader. Crypto volatility magnifies gains and losses, making it a double-edged sword.

Then, skepticism is your best friend. Focus on whats real despite the noise. Is a platform reputable? Do their games prove fair? Transparency is everything. Many consider Stake.com top-tier since it meets all these criteria.

Remember that crypto gambling is a marathon, not a sprint. Maintaining pace is essential. Dont chase losses, because the house edge is a reality, and over time, it always has its way. Join the community, learn, and follow trends. And here in bitcointalk, we has a great user community, which is valuable.

Before gambling, you should learn how to control yourself when gambling and to test it, you should make a deposit with smaller money and bet less, there is no need to rush with big money because it is important to control before gambling, there are lots of beginner gamblers or newcomers gamble irresponsibly and go beyond the limits so they become easily addicted and it is very dangerous because it is difficult to cure.

Apart from that, you also have to learn to control your emotions and greedy behavior because it is also not good to follow those feelings when gambling, always make gambling as entertainment to have fun because then there is no desire to win big, a healthy mindset will keep you from addiction and make sure you always limit your budget and gambling time to make it safer. One more thing, always make sure you play at a casino that has a good reputation on this forum  ;)

Do not look at gambling as a source of income even if you manage to have that beginner luck that can give you some nice profit by playing first time into gambling.Second consider it as a source of entertainment and set a budget and stick to it no matter what happens, many people start to lose their head when they lose this set budget and they want to get it back by depositing more money chasing loses which will bring even more loses in 99.99% of cases.

I very much agree with you, when it comes to advising newbies on how to stay safe in gambling, the easiest and fastest way I do it is to tell them to go read up everything about responsible gambling.
In responsible gambling, we already have all this mentioned rules like, setting limits, never to chase after loses, never to allow emotion to control ones decisions while gambling, gambling with only funds one can afford to lose and so on and so.

Gambling can be very entertaining, most especially when we are winning, this makes you to want to keep gambling forever and ever, but immediately the losing streaks sets in, anxiousness sets in as well desperation to end the losing streak and go back to the winning streak again also sets in, this is mostly the time when gamblers fail woefully in their self control, which is what drives some to start betting higher and higher amount expecting to win every thing they have lost, back all with a that single bet, but unfortunately for most, does strategy don't always end well.

This is why it is also very important that gambler must never stop being in control of him or herself.

The best advice to new or old, crypto or fiat gamblers - lower your expectations and enjoy the game. Less important advice - think of money management and find an independent person that will watch your balance. , or just set limits on how much you can afford to lose. But never, never  make goals how much you want to win. This will lead to making extra bets. If you are gambling and winning, and your balance is 999,99, dont try to win that cent to make it 1k even and withdraw.

Don't bite more than what you can chew, in gambling This means only play what you can afford to lose, it's a trap that you must try to avoid, if you can only afford to play and lose $50 in one session don't pour it all in one roll, break it down with the intention of you're only playing to have fun, an hour or two spent is already good, in that one or two hour you have already satisfy your entertainment cravings.

My second advice and also very important is to read the Terms of Service of the casino you're playing, you don't want your funds or winnings confiscated because you violated one of their terms, so check every FAQ and TOS of every casino you're playing, in case you win there will be no obstacles in withdrawing your winnings.

Just don't go all in. Start with a small, manageable amount you can afford to lose. Think of it like dipping your toes in the water before diving in. Always do your homework on the platforms and go for the well-known and trustworthy ones. Avoid those shady schemes promising quick riches because they usually lead to disappointment. It's like finding the right party to hang out at and you want the one with a good crowd and positive vibes. There are a lot ot tips here in the forum. You will do well.  :)

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

1. Do it use your MasterCard or credit card to gambling online, it only fuel your desire to gamble even more and it open door to getting addicted faster, people who do this ends up in debt and most can't even pay the debt back.

2. If you want to be a gambler make sure you don't use money that doesn't belong to you, don't go out and take loans or borrow money from people to gamble, people hardly get lucky using money that beings to someone else to gamble.

3. Only use money you are willing to lose, and if it's not a lucky day for you do not try to chase your losses, you will easily empty your balance chasing your losses, that's why in the first place you must always risk money you can afford to lose.

I don't have a lot of bad experience in gambling, because I am someone who learn really fast from their mistake, it doesn't take long for me to understand that as a gambler you will make the house to get richer than making yourself get rich, the house always win so that's why I don't take gambling extremely important, I just do it for fun.

That is sound advice for the beginner because by limiting his money and time, he can prevent himself from losing a lot he doesn't have to. He can learn from other gamblers who have lost a lot, so he doesn't have to experience the same thing. Gambling is entertainment, and if you get pleasure from gambling, you should immediately stop gambling and not return for several days. That will prevent you from experiencing loss, and no money will be lost at the gambling table. If he can always be careful with gambling, he won't have to worry about becoming addicted to gambling because he can handle it well. Don't experience problems in gambling because many have experienced it and cannot solve the problem.

1. Using neither Debit or credit card then it would surely be a suicide. Never ever make yourself consider out on having this kind of option. It would really just make things
worst and its better to make use of the amount that directly form of fiat but of course it is really just that enough for that session.

2. Taking any loans or borrowing money for the sake of gambling activity? This is a solid sign that you are already addicted to it. Quit right away or having a break
once you are on such condition.

3. As always on which this is a primary rule not only on gambling but also in investment. Invest on what you can afford to lose.
Dont make yourself that too hasty with your decisions considering that every step does really count.

Sharing our sad experience will only bring back our worst incidence in the system, however everything is in the past. Gambling results in both profits and losses, and we are held accountable for any outcome we encounter in the system. I've learnt the hard way, and I'm working on being a better version of myself. Newcomers should use caution while anticipating in gambling because what we expect is not always what the system depicts. Newcomers should only bet what they can afford to lose and avoid gambling with substantial amounts that will empty out their accounts.

Crypto gambling is quite popular and there are so many crypto-affiliated platforms providing gambling sites. So you have to be more careful in choosing which gambling site you will visit, because the name of fraud in the gambling market is always there, starting from dodgy crypto gambling sites that do not allow you to withdraw your winnings and not to mention pishing scams that make you share sensitive information, and also other attempted fraudulent actions that are certainly very dangerous and can harm visitors.

Not only are you required to be more careful in choosing the gambling site you want to visit, but in playing gambling you are also required to have good self-control so that you will always be able to control the gambling activities you do. With good self-control, you will always be able to minimize the level of loss in your gambling. And you are also required to have sufficient knowledge of abilities and skills so that you can always increase the chances of winning.

Best thing to do if you're playing in an online casino but if you're going on some casino, you can probably consider observation first to see how the games are played, how the players play and if you're lucky, how the winners play. I think that it's common sense to avoid those schemes, didn't the Led Zeppelin said that all that glitters isn't gold? If something is just too good of an offer, there's probably a catch that's a total disadvantage to you. I can't really add any new advice since most of the advice that a newcomer should know is probably said already, I guess I just have to say that you should just enjoy gambling and never make it too serious.

My advice will be more on discipline and responsible gambling as this has been the biggest challenge most gamblers have faced over the years gambling, if they could incorporate these two attitude into their gambling habit they will be better gamblers.

These two stated above will most likely help them have lesser Chance of becoming addicted as I'd they lack any of these or both, they stand a higher chance of becoming addicts in less than no time. Gambling can be folun but when not controlled and done with discipline one tends to become addicted and may start possessing some harmful habits resulting from their addiction as gambling it self does little to no harm.

I don’t see any difference in crypto gambling and fiat gambling, just understand the basics which you should understand and everything is fine, make sure you always know your limit, try your possible best to avoid gambling addiction, always know your limit when gambling, and if you notice you are going beyond your limit, just stop gambling for that moment, gambling is not a place you should be expecting money from, if you have the mindset that you can make money from gambling, then you are getting everything wrong. Losing is normal in gambling, so when you are gambling and losing, just make sure you stop gambling, don’t even try to win back your lose when gambling, you will end up losing more money and regretting.

also before new comers play in online casino, I suggest them to watch and to read other information about the casino site that they interested to play, they can even test out the game in a demo mode so that they will learn how it works. Do a background check to see if this is a legit and reputable online casino to prevent them from scammers since there are many unscrupulous operators out there who are looking to take advantage of newcomers... 100% agree on you, for all new comers, Just enjoy the gambling and always think that you play it for fun.

If only you can avoid gambling then avoid it lol.

Gambling for me is not for fun as losing money in the process is not fun at all so my advice is the basic, "gamble only the the money you can afford to lose". And if you already lost that money, don't chase it and gamble on another day when you have again money that you can afford to lose as we seldom win in gambling, that's my experience.

If he only play for fun he will never have that kind of thinking of chasing his losses because when we play for fun, we will only lose small amounts or those amounts that we can only afford to lose easily. But if he already started playing for profit, he can move on to your second suggestion. That is, again, he shouldn't ever think of chasing his losses.

Many of us already experience it and the result is always going to be unpleasant. Sure some get lucky for a while but it will only make you more greedy where you will play again because you said to your self that you don't have any losses anyway but losses will come eventually. Things are only repeating like we are in a loop.

Never ever chase loses whether it's high or not and don't gamble what you cannot afford to lose as it is more likely that you'll lose than win.

Apart from that, you can go ahead and gamble and enjoy it as much as possible. People may disagree that gambling is not a way to earn money but it is. You can earn from by risking your own funds but it is not suggestible to use gambling as a main way to earn money rather it's a way to multiple your funds with high risk.

Yes it is a very good idea for a suggestion, none other than because that is what must be done, we have good intentions to continue to make gamblers, especially those who are addicted, become aware and better, never chase something that has been lost in gambling because there is absolutely no certainty that it will return, and never put high hopes especially by assuming that gambling can give you consistent wins, it is a mindset that really must be avoided because the level of risk that is there is very large and also of course I'm not sure they can survive in stressful conditions due to defeat.

I honestly don't understand the mindset of people who think that gambling can provide them with income, for the occasional win maybe it can but if you want a continuous win - it doesn't make sense, how can you put your hopes in a place that only relies on luck for the final result.

Avoid welcome bonuses, or at least know the terms and conditions if you're planning to take them, because there used to be a time when some gamblers complained about these bonuses.

Learn to accept your losses. This one will be a big help if you can do this consistently because you'll experience countless losses, and sometimes you'll get that urge to go after those losses, which will only help you pile up your losses even further.

Nothing that much different from what people are always telling to the newcomers and that's always to gamble with the amount that you're fine to lose or anything might happen to it.

That's it, and you have to control yourself because most of the new comers are more risk takers than the older ones. Because the old ones know how to control ourselves but the new ones, you might have problems dealing with it.

Next is to find the casino where you think you're okay to gamble all day long and the one that you trust which you think that will give you the best gambling experience.

Pretty much everything that's been said prior to my comment is what every newbie should keep in mind when gambling. "gamble for entertainment only, don't use your gambling account as a wallet to save and gather your funds with" all that shit. But there's one tip they may have overlooked in favor of these vanilla-type advices.

Never gamble hungry.

Take it literally and metaphorically. Sometimes when we're hungry we tend to make the stupidest choices, ever heard of the tip to not buy groceries when you're hungry cause you're more likely to spend more on dumb stuff than if you were grocery shopping on a full tummy? That's that. Take it metaphorically too! When you gamble from a place of lacking, (eg you want to gamble for profit cause you don't have money, you're gambling cause you're looking to earn this chance to earn more money), you're inevitably digging yourself a new grave. So, might as well just gamble when you're in the proper mindset, and when all your needs are met. trust me, that's gonna do so much wonders for you.

To start crypto gambling require that the gambler is familiar with how to use cryptocurrency first like sending and receiving and the security requirements of cryptocurrency because mistakes can cause serious damages. The next stage is to choose a gambling even that you are comfortable with such as casinos, sports betting and so on. Care must be taken to select the option that is most convenient and well understood before starting. Many people attempt to jump from one gambling event to another easily without much planning.

The last and most important step is to ensure proper money management. Since gambling is risky, it is always better to put risk management at the center of the decision making process. To remain in the business, greed and other bad habits must be put in check and the gambling amount control in such a way that it will not be a burden.

Everything is good advice for a beginner who wants to gamble, but the most important thing is to have self-control, discipline, responsibility, and proper money management. Having all of this can be a valuable lesson for a beginner who wants to gamble so they don't gamble too much. They can determine when to stop gambling because they have good self-control so they don't become addicted to gambling. Gambling addiction is something to be wary of because it has something to do with self-control so they really have to be able to take care of themselves well.

They also have to be wary of greed, which will tempt them to continue gambling. This greed has made many gamblers lose a lot of money because they cannot control themselves so they are tempted to win more. That is why we have to have good self-control in order to avoid these problems.

 - never think that gambling makes you rich,
 - avoid getting into debt, use your personal money instead

Gambling is full of temptation especially if you follow gambling influencers which is why you should be careful with your actions and think deeply before doing. It is good you have asked to know.and as such, you would get the information you desired to hear about gambling. As a newbie in gambling,, there are lots of things you should know about gambling before attempting it because those things would guide you through to not making a mistake of becoming an addict or a chronic gambler. At first you should know that gambling is just for fun and not for making profit as this has led many people into becoming addicted as they had the mindset already but that was not what they saw when they began gambling and in the course of gambling and losing, they decided to chase their losses and it became obvious that they keep losing more and more and becoming addicted to gambling..

Make out budget, as you can afford to lose, day and specific time of gambling and make sure you steak to it without anybody or anything bending you against your plans because sometimes it happens that way and you know you would be carried away just because you lost all and would want to recover all you lost. Gamble responsibly and exercise self-restraint while doing so.

This must be in our mind every time we play in gambling we must   know that gambling is not the key to success maybe there are many people around the world who are lucky enough to win big amounts in gambling but in reality if we don't have our luck then we cannot win a good amount. Cause gambling base on our luck nothing more nothing less. Anyways we must gamble what we afford to loss in order to prevent addiction cause if we reach beyond our limitations then one thing for sure we wont be successful and there's a chnsce that we fall into addiction.

The advice I can give is as follows:
It's important to know your budget and limit yourself using that amount. Like other people say, gamble only with the amount of money you can afford to lose.
Think of gambling as a place to enjoy oneself and have fun. Not as a way to a better life or not as a source of income. It's risky to gamble, there's no guarantee of making money.
And the most important thing for me is don't ever chase your losses. Limit yourself as much as possible. Take a break if you think you're having a hard time controlling your emotions. If you're unlucky, try again next time.

Sure thing! Someone said on this forum, "Gamble for fun, and if it stops being fun, then stop gambling."

Betting and playing games should be enjoyable, not your main money making plan. Getting addicted to gambling isn't good, so newcomers should try to avoid it. To stay in control of your money, set a budget before going to the casino and never go over it. Discipline is crucial so you don't end up spending too much and avoid getting upset about losses from before.

As someone new into gambling, you should not allow it to get into your head but you should gamble once in a while to avoid excess of gambling and to also help you manage your finance. Don't see gambling as what you want to use as a newbie means of living or a means to double your money, only see gambling as a means of entertainment and what can be used to free you from stress.

Don't gamble when you don't have money and only gamble with the amount that you can afford to lose. If your family or friend knows that you are gambling, don't hide your gambling activities from them. This is because they will be the one to tell you if you are over gambling and showing less concern about important things around you due because of your gambling activities to correct and talk to you to reduce or stop it, so that you don't addicted unknowingly to you.

Always think the other way round and not only about winning because gambling is both winning and losing, and the possibility of you losing is higher than winning.

As a newbie in gambling, do not borrow to gamble, do not make promises or trust in a bet you placed for any project you want to carry out. Do not pursue losses, when everyone you continually suffer a streak of losses, it's very advisable you take a break so you don't lose further.

Don't venture into gambling as a job opportunity and hoping to make a fortune out of it even if we know it's possible at some point that you get so profitable that you get so much but that shouldn't be your basic priority or mindset. Get a job or make sure you have a job you are doing which you can always fall back to whenever you run out of money gambling, don't make gambling your sole source of income.

I think you should choose what you are good at, because there are many games in gambling so you should be smart in your choice. Just gamble with your extra money so that somehow losing it doesn't hurt too much because we know that gambling is all about losing here. If you don't have extra, don't gamble. You must learn how to control yourself. Don't gamble every day because there is a big chance that you will become addicted to gambling, only when you have extra money you can play but if you always have extra money the really important thing here is to control it and lastly don't forget to enjoy, playing you to enjoy, too entertain yourself not to become addicted to gambling.

Most gamblers always have that fixed mindset of winning which is not a bad idea but they allow it get too much inside of them that they forget gambling is just for fun and nothing much and if one wins, it's a thing of luck as some people would say. When a gambler fails to see it that way, they begin to be desperate to win and gradually think it's a must that they should win to take profit, there problems begin to increase. The start recording losses upon losses Nd in that case they begin to chase their losses to recover and in that is an how the addiction sets in. They forget gambling is a two way thing either you win or in you loss for which the probability of winning is very minuit.

I don't have important advice for newbies to dive into crypto gambling platforms. But whether new or old I will always say that everyone should take part in gambling with a mind-set when it comes to gambling. No one shall participate in gambling while intoxicated. My advice to every gambler is to take this gambling as entertainment and never make gambling an addiction. Every gambler, whether new or old, should create a spreadsheet to track all accounts accurately, which will be very easy for every gambler. Also, my last suggestion would be that every gambler should avoid debt and gamble, not gamble with debt.

Or simply not to rely with profit from gambling. As we all know ‘gambling’ won’t and will never give you a consistent profit ‘coz it will depend on your fate and for sure no one’s lucky on a regular basis. The impression and our intention on entering this industry, matters a lot. If you are here with the idea of getting rich in an instant, you better stay away of it. Indeed there are people who made fortune from betting but the ratio of those who are losing almost everything, is way bigger than the few ones who managed to hit the jackpot. Same warning to those who plans to borrow money as their capital in gambling activities; simply don’t.

Don't go with the flow that as you are diving into crypto gambling, you are going to be winning rather than losing. Honestly, the losses witnessed on gambling sites are always more than the wins. Therefore, a beginner should learn not to gamble with borrowed money, trying to cover their losses not knowing when to stop gambling, hoping to be wealthy through it or place bets on a regular basis without marking gambling as a fun

Learn the skills of the trade before you adventure into it else you'll not find it funny at all. Most of the gamblers we see that actually complain about their bad gambling skills didn't know much about the rules and nobody gave them a guide as to what to do and how to regulate their gambling activities.

Gambling with crypto or with fiat currency has one major thing in common. You’re using funds to place bets. So it’s pretty much the same advice you could give anyone new to gambling irrespective of whatever means of payment is being used.

I think this needs to be repeated continuously so people would know and have it on their minds whenever they gamble. There has been threads on this board which after going through them, one would easily conclude that there are people that really do see gambling as a means of earning an income. This is truly where addiction slowly creeps in. Gambling can be fun if you’re responsible and also sensible with your finances.

When there isn’t any pressure to earn an income from gambling, there wouldn’t be any pressure to play more after losing repeatedly in a bid to win back money lost. No pressure to go borrowing from wherever whenever your finances start depleting.

Don't get addicted! :P

This is certainly the biggest danger and the main evil that every gambling user can commit.
There are several ways to combat this and I believe the most important is to keep in mind that gambling is a means of entertainment, it will never be a way of making money.
With this in mind, it is also necessary to establish limits... not only on financial expenses but also on the time you spend playing, because the more time you play, the greater the chances of becoming addicted to the game.

The main advice for beginners is to keep calm under any circumstances, try not to spend more than the planned amount, and listen more to your own intuition. and also - try not to rush and do everything on a cool head.

Good advise but very hard to execute specially if you are a beginner and there's no one behind you or to mentor you when you gamble. Maybe there is someone that is going to teach you the ins and outs or how to make a bet. But after that, for sure you will be alone to discover what works for you and what's not.

And specially if you have started and the mindset to think that you will always win big? this might be the start that you are going to get addicted. So it's really better to just have fun while you start your gambling activity. If you win then good and then continue and see if you are going to be lucky the next game session. If not, then just stop and not think of chasing your losses.

It's true that gambling is a game of luck and in this world many people gamble and not all of them experience luck, only a few people really make big profits and in reality more people experience losses.
Therefore, we have to be clever at gambling so that we don't fall into addiction which will cause us to experience a lot of losses.
We definitely encounter many victims due to excessive gambling, so we must not follow things that will harm ourselves, we must not think that gambling will produce big profits, this is very difficult to achieve unless we are really lucky.

One key advice, never gamble for "making money" or as a source of income to pay your bills. You should gamble for fun. Think of the losses as a "payment" for the entertainment and the profits as a "rewards" that you can use to play more. Never run after the losses. That will only cause you to lose more. And oh, remember, in the long run, it's the house that will always in. Plus, gamble only if you can afford to gamble. Think of gambling as a luxury that you can live without. If you do start gambling, and feel like you are doing it too much and can't stop, you should start talking to someone about it. But remember, precaution is better than cure.

Thet "gamble only if you can afford to gamble" Is very much true, Sometimes some people used to borrow a money to others or they will use their savings just to get along with others in gambling even in reality, they can't afford to play, which is very dangerous if you're starting to gamble. Never ever use a loan money because it will lead you in having a huge debt, worst case scenario; a bankruptcy.

You've pretty much summarised what a person that wants to engage in gambling should know,  your points are very valid. If a person that does not have any source of income involves himself in gambling, with the hope of earning from it, he might end up becoming worse off than when he engaged in it. Because of the risks that is involved in gambling, which totally depends on luck, is not something that any person can depend on to survive. Instead gambling should primarily be for fun, where you should bet only the amount that you can afford to loose, as it's been advised in this topic. Of course it's very important to have a budget for gambling, and not to exceed the budget, it could be 5% or 10% depending on your income and expenditure.

What i can add to what you've already said is that in overall it takes discipline to achieve the goal of being a responsible gambler. Without discipline to knowing when to stop, then the new gambler is on his way to becoming an addict. And when this happens, the person might end up being a debtor because of loses.

Always be disciplined and set an amount you're willing to risk that you can afford to lose. If you don't let your emotions dictate you, even when you lose, and you stick with your maximum loss amount, that means you're a disciplined gambler. You'll have longer gambling sessions where you'll experience both wins and losses. However, if you aim to improve in gambling and feel more optimistic about making a living from it, then I guess all you need is to develop your strategy since you already have the discipline to control your emotions.

Learn the skills of the trade before you adventure into it else you'll not find it funny at all. Most of the gamblers we see that actually complain about their bad gambling skills didn't know much about the rules and nobody gave them a guide as to what to do and how to regulate their gambling activities.
There's a big difference between trade and gambling, don't mix it.

I think majority of people are understand with the "rules" and "the game's work", but unfortunately you can't expect you will win after you understand these two things. Skill is subjective here and I believe an experienced gambler have that, but they still lose in the long run.

Those who enter new gambling must follow many important rules especially in gambling there are some privacy which should not be open to everyone. If you have family bonding then you should never discuss gambling in front of the kids. As for those who are new, they must be careful that the bad aspects of gambling do not become a cause of harm to the society and public. Moreover, those new students who are interested in gambling must first fix their career and study and then make a decision about gambling.

Your metrics for playing for fun isn't really an accurate definition of "playing for fun", not all who play small amounts of money aren't playing for fun and not all who are playing with a lot of funds to back them up are playing for fun and vice versa. My point is that the metrics for playing for fun isn't measured with how much you're spending because you can't really measure the fun in exact and logical terms, plus you can't really tell if someone really did have fun just by their facial expressions or by asking them. Also, if they're playing for profit, wouldn't that imply that they're doing just fine with their gambling so they're probably the least of worries when it comes to chasing losses?
~
Many of us already experience it and the result is always going to be unpleasant. Sure some get lucky for a while but it will only make you more greedy where you will play again because you said to your self that you don't have any losses anyway but losses will come eventually. Things are only repeating like we are in a loop.
Totally agree with what you're saying (I guess I can't really disagree since we're saying almost the same thing), most people are simple and some of us are just trying to make them as a complicated individual when they're predictable most of the time. Maybe the factor to breaking through this so-called loop would be the strength of will of the individual that's in question like the people who can quit gambling when they want to or the people that can never get enough of gambling high that even if they lose a lot already, they still want to play.

I’m not sure is gambling is a topic that can be discussed by the family unless all of you in the family is involved on gambling but it’s really good idea to not brought it up as topic when there’s a minor around because kids usually have the curiosity to know things on their own. Worst is they learn how to gamble and steal some money on their parents pocket.

Moreover, those new students who are interested in gambling must first fix their career and study and then make a decision about gambling.

As a student, I sometimes involved in small time gambling due to my competitiveness on online games but I know my limit on my bet since I only have limited money. I’m not sure if I can do the same now that online casino is very accessible unlike before which online casino is not that popular and there’s no crypto to use for playing privately.

First advice; if you at coming to gambling to make money because you see people show off, kindly quit because you will disappointed that it's not how you see the result is in reality. Gambling is more than what people say, gambling takes time, courage, and patience; If you lack any of these, you will not last and when you force it, it will even be bad.

Learn to understand your strategy and be consistent with what you want to bet. If you are the casino freak that loves wagering with multiplier, stick to that and if sports is the only thing you understand, learn to improve yourself on it and don't get over joy when people win and the same time, don't over think when you lose, learn to extemporize your skills.

Don't borrow funds to play, don't copy others bets to play, learn to away when the loss is to much and make sure you take aggregate of what you deposit and withdrawals so that it will be easy to distinguish your losses and profit for that week or month, this particular part is very important, learn to know if you are wasting money on gambling or you are making some money at the end of the day.

My advice to new comers in the gambling is to keep their personal details safe and secure from the gambling center because, many have fall victims of losing their money from their account without knowing where the scammers came from until they tracy their process before they discovered that they gain access to such person account through online betting. Do everything possible to maintain the amount of money you will be using to gamble weekly or monthly so that you will not be addicted to gambling, and once you are addicted to gambling it will affect your life and home completely.

Don't forget that nobody is perfect in the area of gambling, but you need to be more focus on some sports activities to know the best team that always win their games in any competition, and those who always lose in their games in any competition, and it will help you to get luck in your prediction.

The most prominent advice in the world of gambling is risk, you can lose your money in a short time, that is what must be considered for beginners who want to gamble.

However, whatever the risks that may occur in gambling, the important thing is that you remain committed, thorough, informed and so on. If you enter the world of gambling, the most basic thing is information and guidance from your close friends who often bet, You may not fully understand the advice here, your close friends are more efficient in determining the success of your gambling, The point is to consider irresponsible casino sites so that you can avoid them and play at casinos that are responsible for you.

Unless if you're already old and your kids are already above 18 years old. They are on the right age already to know it, though we can still give them an advice if what they can do to avoid getting addicted on it. They can take note of it, if they truly love us. Addicted gamblers mostly affect their life and I think the occurrence that they can threaten their society is only less but they can always get caught out by the authorities if they do, so we shouldn't worry.

For the students who like to engage in gambling, there are still responsible students out there. It's like they also play video games, and have other habits which we can say close to gambling. It only depends on the person after all. There are even some who are not a student anymore but can still get addicted to gambling.

Gambling should never be a key income source - its dangerous. Considering losses an entertainment fee is smart. Like buying a ticket to a performance, sometimes its wonderful and sometimes not, but you dont expect a refund. The pleasure and fun should drive, not money. Always remember that the house has the advantage. Understanding gambling mechanics isnt pessimism. Its built for profit, yet gamblers dont usually profit. So, your point about gambling only what you can afford to lose is gold. Luxury, not necessity, should be occasional. Your last point is powerful. Self-awareness and seeking help are key. Recognizing a problem is often toughest. Yes, prevention is better than cure. Responsibility, acknowledging the risks, and being ready to quit when the game stops being fun are key. Your opinion deepens responsible gambling discussions.

- never consider gambling as a source of living
 - never think that gambling makes you rich,
 - avoid getting into debt, use your personal money instead

Gambling is full of temptation especially if you follow gambling influencers which is why you should be careful with your actions and think deeply before doing. A lot of people got involved in crime because of their addiction, we can make it as a reason why we should control our emotions and greediness.

this is the vary basic things to remember when you dive into gambling. Don't get so triggered by the advertisements of gambling, those are most times so tempting and deceiving.
another things that you can remember;
- Gambling is just for fun, dont get it too deep for your mental
- beside you need to manage your fund, you also need to manage your mood, just cash out when you win enough, it's better for your day.
- never get involved with people who like to borrow money for gambling, that invites problems.

after diving into gambling, you dont have many good days, it's a sign to stop, it could be torturing you if you continue.

I agree with you, if you always spend your time gambling the more you will become addicted. So you must control yourself in everything if you want to gamble.

At first when you enjoy gambling you can't really avoid going too far and that's okay because you enjoy it as long as you don't do it all the time and you know yourself that you go too far sometimes. There are also people out there who overdo their gambling without realizing it and that's a bad thing, so always set a budget for your vice, you must be responsible.

Gambling can make some people rich, but it can also make others really broke. Those who understand the games can win a lot with small bets. The key is to be yourself when you gamble. Just because someone else wins big doesn't mean you will too. Gambling is risky and depends on luck.

The most dangerous thing in gambling is borrowing money to play. That's like an addiction. If you don't have money to gamble, don't borrow. Gambling should be for fun, using only the money you can afford to lose. Borrowing money and hoping to win to pay it back is not a wise decision.

The most important thing i can tell beginners is don't gamble on crypto gambling sites that don't have a good reputation, newly registered/operating gambling sites, gambling sites that require KYC (OPTIONAL), gambling sites that offer bonuses that don't apply be sensible, gambling sites that don't have big liquidity, gambling sites that don't have a license for their business, always remember that you don't donate when gambling on a crypto gambling site, don't because you're tempted or lazy to research, the money you earned is hard unfortunately, in the end you won't be able to get it back, stay careful in choosing a crypto gambling site.

The point is to consider irresponsible casino sites so that you can avoid them and play at casinos that are responsible for you.
What do you mean by responsible and irresponsible casinos? I didn't know that casinos can also be responsible and irresponsible, I thought they were just trusted and reputable and it's gamblers who are responsible or irresponsible with their gambling activities and habits because they are the ones who are in charge of their bets, the bankroll, time being spent in the casino, and any other thing related to it, and the casino has nothing to do with any of those things.

So, a gambler should consider choosing a casino platform that has a good reputation and is trusted among the gambling community, and they should be responsible and disciplined with their gambling activities so that they don't spend more than enough time and money and take gambling too seriously.

Basically everything in crypto gambling is the same as conventional web-based gambling, so there are no significant differences. The only thing you have to pay attention to is regarding deposits, because sometimes human error can occur as I did before. My problem occurred at Stake, where I forgot that I had ever regenerated my Tron address. So I made a deposit to my old address.

Rushing into the world of crypto gambling, more like following the crowd and trends will definitely liquidate one's account, that's the beginning of one's insufficient revenues. Newbies turned to be vulnerable to the system, they have everything in the system that surrounds them, persuading them to become more desperate to gamble without setting out the important strategies in the system. Been in the system for few years and I've learned more than the estimated necessary favtors.Crypto gambling is even worse more than the regular gambling that deals with our fiat currency physical and online.

This is a common mistake with people who are used to playing in a casino that only have single deposit address for each cryptocurrency.  I think for an address to change, the user need to regenerate it.  I think you are somehow absent minded when you regenerate your address that you forgot it  :D.  Or busy with other thing and did not remember that you already changed your Tron deposit address.  But I guess we will be able to  get back the deposit by contacting the support staff.

That being said, always inquire on the support stuff if something went wrong if we wanted to know and understand some of the vague terms in their TOS.  Don't shy away if we wanted to know more about their rules specially when they offer a new release promos and we hardly understand the mechanics.

If its a newly generated address then it would be common sense that you would really be needing to copy such thing if you wont then expect that those funds would really be derailed but as long it would really be that deposited into a certain sites address then having that recovery wont really be that an issue unless if they do have some terms that depositing into wrong address count as being that forfeited but it is unlikely
since you've been transferring into their old address which you have decided to generate new.

If you do have this kind of mindset then you would probably be ending up on getting addicted with gambling. Why? you would really be having those kind of intents on which its never been that recommendable on doing so.This is why you should really be that careful on the things that you've been dealing with specially with gambling. If you are really just that spending on the amount which you can afford to lose or really that
only allocated for the sake of gambling then it would really be just that fine but if you are really that aiming for making income then this would impose a huge problem
later on.

I think you should be more careful with online gambling than traditional gambling, because the first is much more accessible and convenient, doesn't matter where you are and what you are doing. You just have to pick your smartphone and access the online platform at anytime. That means the temptation is present all the time, while with traditional gambling you still have to move yourself to a store in order to gamble, so there are another factors involved which can prevent you from going ahead.

Moreover, online gambling is usually much more accessible for small gamblers, as you can bet very small sums of money, while in gambling stores bets tend to start from higher sums, like a dollar at least. In crypto casinos, you can bet less than 1 cent per bet.

If a newbie gambler doesn't pay attention to all these "easiness", he may find himself in big trouble, as they are concerning invitation for the danger.

First thing that the newcomer needs to know is the fact that,  gambling is not a means of making an honest and steady earning so at that they should take gambling as just for fun and nothing more than that,  and for sure I am clear on the fact that many of the newbies have gone so far as setting a target winning amount when they make deposits into their casino account,  and without any form of control of any possible excesses while at that,  so for sure and to some they always end up being disappointed when the revise become the case and the lose everything.

Starting up gambling on the wrong note can do more danger than losing because when you lose as an expert,  you can re strategize and win again later,  but if a newbie already have bad start up mentality,  he will be forced to continue to chase a particular directions and that can only lead him to more troubles instead solutions to the current outcome.

If all gamblers would just take gambling as just for fun and entertainment, I believe not many gamblers will have financial problems.
But the reality is most of these gamblers are after for the possibility of winning big or the dream that they will get rich out of their betting activities.
Maybe we can say, poker and sportsbetting have the chance to be your main source of income, but it would take years and years before someone can reach to the level of being an expert.

Bad luck,  sarcastic statement right?

Because at some point,  I don't believe in bad luck when you lose because I know that gambling is not a win-win situation and even the gamblers that win now will still lose later so how then do we refer to them because the record both loses and winning,  I think gambling goes beyond that to reach at a point where having the wrong approach could have more resultant effects on the gambler compared to basing every bad result on ill luck.

Newbies are mostly carried aways with their expertn't winning that they fail to take note of some of the key things that propel their winnings,  and rather than focusing on that weakness,  they tend to look away from the realities of things.

What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
Crypto gambling is very simple, more than simple than usual using fiat money, debit, and credit cards. I think the first lesson they should have to learn is how to manage their crypto to be safer and more economical. I just look lot of players out there is going too far when using crypto. they play without brakes, and without mature management so that case they lose too much money and go bankrupt, after that, they give up and leave gambling forever. Therefore money management is everything, this becomes a point thing if a newcomer wants to play crypto gambling.

The most important lesson in gambling is to gamble in limit. If you don’t set a limit and gamble frequently after losses, then definitely a time will come when you will be bankrupt. In order to saved from bankruptcy, you need to gamble in limit with proper risk calculation. I won’t also suggest to gamble daily, gamble when you have some extra money in your hand. Use that money to earn more through gambling. That’s basically the theorem that you need to follow in order to gamble successfully.

No doubt, because betting within limits will protect them from wanting to bet a lot of money. They can protect themselves so that they don't go bankrupt from gambling, especially since we don't know when we will win. With these restrictions, we can regulate our gambling activities, and maybe we won't gamble too often because of the negative impacts that we can receive. Beginner gamblers must learn to limit their gambling because otherwise, they will face problem after problem and in the end, they will become addicted to gambling. And if that happens to them, it will be difficult for them to cure it.

I usually save my deposit address in Telegram "Saved Message", but for some reason I forgot to copy-paste the new address that I generated for deposit purposes. This is an important lesson for beginners in crypto casinos, so I share it so that others are always careful in everything.

But I guess we will be able to  get back the deposit by contacting the support staff.

Yes, I easily got my deposit back after contacting support, I don't know if I can do this on small casino crypto sites.

True, but it depends on each individual, ideally, before entering the realm of gambling, an individual must fully understand that gambling is just for entertainment purposes. For example, when watching a match, it will be more exciting if we take one side, and the way to do this is by gambling to get adrenaline. Modern or Traditional Gambling, it all depends on the individual's response to it.

There are two very important advices you find here on the forum, 1.) only gamble with money that you can afford to lose and 2.) don't chase losses. Being active for many years here on the forum I think these two tips is what most people recommend and also the issue where most people lost money. Just don't expect to make a big profit quickly in gambling and enjoy your time.

It is very common for newcomers to enter the world of gambling. Because new crypto casino platforms are being created, new gamblers are also emerging and the industry will definitely continue to grow in the future. But the advice to the newbies is to not get addicted in any way. They should not be in a situation where he is unhappy if he cannot gamble. We will gamble but not in hopes of winning. Many newbies join gambling because they have a dream of multiplying their money which they never should do. Remember that you can only gamble as long as you have money so avoid getting anything too fast.

I agree with you, Nrcewker. I sometimes even wonder why some people put so much money into gambling, despite the amount of money they have to their name, but you will be surprised at how they spend a huge amount at once to stake a game, whether it's because they don't set a limit to how they gamble or not (I can't really tell) or probably because they have too much money to waste. Like you said, there are people who don't gamble with spear money; they can even gamble with money that doesn't belong to them for the sake of doubling the money. Gambling is fun, but if one follows it up like it is, they will definitely lose self-control. It's wise if the gambler stakes what they can afford to lose.

Sometimes there are many people in the world who have a lot of money who don't know what to spend it on and it's incredible how much they want to spend it. I'm one of the people who has friends, well not friends, just because they have money, well no. They say hello the same and then there are a series of other things that have nothing to do with the topic, but these people are the ones who normally engage in things that don't make sense, so that type of person is the one who has to be read with the chaos and Yes, even though sometimes they don't pay much attention to the money they spend on anything, because they are happy like that, there are many people in the world who are like that, even in the third world countries there are many who have everything and don't know what spend, but they prefer to live that way because it seems easier than going to a developed country where taxes are basically very high and they prefer to stay in places where they want a lot of security in exchange for money, especially those who live their own way.

With people who are like that, my advice is that I have a lot of money because it is good to take care of it, because a person who still has a lot of money, it is sad that the money goes away if out of nowhere, at least if they learn to have control about their risk management and that they play intelligently, although I have told myself that this type of people is incredible how they are lucky, have a lot of money and have rarely played with a lot of money and are lucky enough to win more money, that is why where I live with people who are like that and they don't like this kind of thing if they say "money calls for money" and these people are very lucky and can have everything to win and they do, in fact they don't suffer, they go out to win, they are always gnando, we know but it is a strange effect, while there is a person with those financial memories, he goes to a casino and loses everything, well everything if he does not know how to manage his money, but if he gets desperate and becomes repressed and stressed, yes , you could lose everything.

first and foremost, before he goes to gambling, he should know why he wants to play? what are his goals why he wants to explore this addictive activity? because he needs to be ready on what possible consequences he will encounter when he steps on the door of this world of gambling. because if he's not ready for those worst scenarios, better not to indulge such desire as he will only regret about his decision.

Sometimes common sense would really be just enough because you wont really be necessary to experience it first before you would really be able to tell on whats happening.
Things could be avoided if you do just even read up someones real time experience and would really be able to learn that it is really that something risky to deal with.
Usually people would really be not be that getting convinced not until they would really be able to have thair own experience to it and this is why curiousity
would really be always the sole reason on why people do engage into something on which they arent even prepared. You would really be finding yourself to be that
having issues if you arent that careful on what you are dealing with.
