Football, this sport is the only sport that has lost lot of money and I remember that time when the 2018 World Cup final was between France and Croatia.
I dared to spend almost half of my savings to bet on Croatia, which had just reached the World Cup final for the first time. From the start of the qualifying round to qualifying for the final, Croatia was really very good they managed to beat several strong rival teams.
At that time I knew that France had a squad dominated by young players but what Croatia had achieved made me brave enough to bet on them with full confidence.
But everything failed, I lost the money and this became very meaningful experience for me in sports betting.

From this experience plus several other experiences when the pandemic occurred which caused financial decline, it made me think about becoming wiser and more responsible person in gambling.
Because I using money here, not everything can be obtained for free, so I have to manage my finances to avoid bad things that could make things difficult in the future.

Basketball, semi-finals. $25 each. 2 different bets for 2 teams.
Did it ever make me bet that high again? No. It made me stop because I was just chasing losses at that time and luckily I won both of them. :D
My bets are usually not going up by $10. Yeah, call me a cheap guy but sometimes I make 3-5 bets per event so you compute it. It's not like I am gambling the way others do. I put bets only to enhance the cheering part and the exciting part of the game, especially at crucial times. There are those who put more money in their bets but I don't have the courage and the money to make the same scary amount as them. I'd rather just enjoy it so that I won't get stressed the whole day that I lost an amount that could've been a day of food on the table and my wife will probably make me stop gambling if I do that again. Gotta avoid that. ;D

I do not remember the highest amount of money I used to gamble, this is because I started with local gambling sites before I joined this forum and also because I use my local currency at the time. But if I remember correctly, I have gambled with over $500 before and I have lost more than that in a day before. I was an addict at the time.

in history I have experienced wins that I consider big from sports betting with multi odds bets, not that big, only @13 and I did it on a fiat site, but that only once in a lifetime that I have experienced success in getting a win from multi football bets.
and I also got consistent wins from esports betting on dota 2 TI 11 last year without using multi bets but single bets with odds of at least @1.5 - @2 and the total winnings I got were around $500.

but unfortunately to repeat a win like that again seems very difficult or maybe just luck comes once in a lifetime. :D

Football. But I don't bet too much money like those who bet more than $10 or more. That's too much for me. I usually place bets around under $5. That alone was too big for me but it was a lot of fun.

I don't gamble or bet on sports betting very often. Until now, I still bet on sports betting but not too often. Only if there is a certain event and I know about the event, then I place a bet. Of course, after I find out who will compete.

But if I bet $5 on a game and lose, that makes me stop betting. Otherwise, I will spend even more money even though I want to limit my gambling activities.

I share my early experience in betting, initially I didn't understand about betting and gambling but I was inspired to see many people profit from betting and when they lose all their money in betting, they don't want to play anymore. I noticed that after winning three or four bets, they lost all the money after losing one bet, so I did not dare to bet for a long time, but suddenly one day it occurred to me that since I had  I have enough knowledge about cricket and football so I might use my knowledge to bet. This knowledge of cricket and football did not help me much and at first I lost some bets regularly and at one point I felt that I should withdraw from this betting and then I withdrew from betting temporarily. After a few days when the money was close I tried again and then adopted a different strategy. My strategy was that whichever match I could win and had a high chance of winning, I would bet on that match. I have won most of the bets using this strategy and till now I am betting with this strategy.

Football is a game that one must bet on especially when you are a fan of that team and they are in a super form. My bet was on this past world cup finals between France and Argentina, I had so much confidence on France to win the game but it turned out the the game ended with a penalty kick and when I saw that it will be a penalty kick, I  knew it that I have lost it. This is because my luck is not always on penalty kick as anyone can win, even a weak team can win a strong team in penalty because it is totally based on luck. I will never forget that day because I lost big up to $300 which I have never used such amount to gamble in my entire life.

500$ on a bet that I thought have an insurance when my pick was lose but it turns out insurance only apply with a certain condition met. Luckily, my bet won before I notice the full mechanics of the insurance promotion. This happened back in the time when I'm not reading frequently the ToS of any promotion that I'm joining. This lucky incident makes me vigilant when it comes to casino promotion.

i play less amount but the frequency of my didn't change since this kind of huge bet is very rare for me to take unless there's something I can get for my own advantage.

The highest amount I've ever bet on one game in sports betting is around $3000, and unfortunately, I lost it, for those of us who will remember, this game was a match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia during the 2022 world cup tournament, this was like a sure game for me, since I believed that there was no way Saudi Arabia was going to beat Argentina, so I placed a very high bet on Argentina to win that match, but unfortunately, they failed, this was my worst experience in gambling since I started gambling, this loss actually landed me in the hospital, since I could not contain the shock, I collapsed, my wife rushed me to near by hospital where I spent 2 days.

And my answer to the bonus question is - yes, I actually stayed away from gambling for over 8 months, to help me recover as well as to get over the loss, the loss affected my business greatly, since majority of that money was money I took from my business, I struggled for several months before I could gain focus again.

After this experience, I am now very careful with amount of money i bet or play gambling with, I've learnt to play with only the amount of money I can sincerely afford to lose.

I bet on football sports betting and last week I bet about $80 on Manchester city against Chelsea last week and the result was a draw, for me $80 is big because I'm just a small gambler who doesn't have much budget to gamble on weekends, so I bet on the results of previous winnings so that I can roll them back after seeing a draw doesn't make me want to continue gambling.

I have a budget limit so I have to stop there when I lose a bet, I was just a little greedy and confident in last week's match where Manchester City were held to a draw by Chelsea, but after that defeat I play more carefully now and I still bet in football betting I don't bet on other sports bets but that loss made me learn not to be too greedy to bet all my budget money on one match.  ;D

I don't gamble for profits purpose, but I used to gamble with $4 daily, and it use to cost me $112 monthly which is not a big deal to me because, I gamble for funs just to let some bad things go and to let some new things come in. I don't have any bad experience about gambling because I know how much am earning monthly from the place of work and, is a place that make someone to engage in many things that will cause someone a lot of stress and weak but the moment I look at some of the sports activities and I look at my bet and will smile whether win or lose at the moment.

My results from January till November is very bad, but it will not make me to increase the money am using for betting because, the day good result will appear will help me to recover all my losses, and it will give me more moral not to give up easily.

I can't remember the exact amount but that was a Basketball sports betting game called "ending" in our country. I placed a bet multiple times in a different numbers and like what I've expected, I didn't win. I accepted it to myself that I'm not lucky when it comes to playing betting games. With that, I didn't stop on betting, I still continue playing it but I set myself a limitation to avoid overspending and to manage my finances.

I'm not a high roller though. The biggest so far that I have convinced myself to be confident that I will win was $230 for one UFC fight, I thought this was even a fixed fight but then my bet lost. Rose Namajunas KOed Weili Zhang and my bet is the other way around. This is very unexpected and surely I'm not the only one who lost this match.

You will always try to bet big when you are almost sure your pick will win. Made me realize there is no much to learn about the sport.

48$ with Dota2 Item.

Then, I realized. I'm not good on sport-betting and move out from there, now just playing (CASINO-Games) like BJ/Baccarat. I also moving out from (Slot) after 6 month history play without any win more than 1,000x

Sometimes, moving on is the option.

The biggest sports bet I ever placed I remember was in 2022 when Argentina played against France. I happen to really like Messi so at that time I supported Argentina. At that time I was very confident that Argentina could win the World Cup, but people said France was the favorite, but we had the advantage of having the greatest player of all time, namely the superstar Lionel Messi.

I was very worried because Argentina lead was always chased by France until the extra time ended and the score was tied at 3-3. that's where my heart beats during the penalty shootout. Will Argentina win the world cup by beating France because it is likely that this will be the last world cup for the mega star Lionel Messi. and finally my worries became joy because I got a big win at that time. I will never forget the biggest win I ever bet.

Yeah really most of us started using fiat currency casinos and then we have lost in a multiple times but then my higher sports bet amount was wagered when got to this forum and I used bitcoin,  it was an accumulated 2-week payment for the signature that I used to place that bet,  I was thinking that the odds were sure and I made a bet pf 0.01 btc,  and I lost it at the end and this almost crippled me and the motivation on me gamble ever.

But as time went on I got over that and I moved on, much time after then I won and lost as many as I can remember but then the most important lesson learned and that is to gamble with only an amount I can afford to lose and be comfortable with so we keep moving regardless.

I don't actually place big amount in a single bet because my method is using small of money to target big amount. As you know,  it is one thing to make rule and another to keep them. So, once in a while there there is this temptation yo try something new like a new approach for a different outcome.

In one of my time of trying something new, I decided to stake big amount on selected games I considered safe. Consequently,  I staked $50 targeting to win $500. Unfortunately the game failed and I was deeply pained. Since then I have not tried playing with big amount again.

On sportsbet, the largest single bet I've made is from a basketball game. It's from a hype basketball game where Lebron and Curry are against each other and I really know much about basketball at that time and bet on whose my friend are on and won and used my winnings to treat my friends. It was around 400-500USD worth of btc at that time.

Honestly, it doesn't really affect much of my gambling activity as I seldomly gamble on sportsbet and mostly gamble on dice and other casino game and I've lost more when I tried betting all in on one of my dice gambling session.

$100 on a game with Lillard is still with Portland, I forget who is their opponent that time. It was a ML bet, so I guess I was hoping for Lillard to have his usual "Dame Time" back then. However, I wasn't able to watch the game itself, I don't know I just feel asleep while waiting for the game itself.

And when I woke up, Portland won, it was a very close game and again, I recalling everything, it was a game winner from Dame. He has to drive and bank the shot if my memory serves me right. And I was just thinking that if I watch the game, I will be very nervous.

You've done well in your gambling approach by only putting small amounts, that's very good, but I don't really understand what you mean that you are targeting large amounts using only small money for fishing, it's quite difficult to achieve such big results if you only use a small budget, although basically it might be possible if you are really lucky, but certainly I think it takes a long time with several trials. But yeah forget it maybe you can just be patient to wait for the luck to come, no problem.

If you have a rule that you think is the best then go for it, I see that you are one of those gamblers who is responsible enough to only put a small amount, because it means that you take a small risk, and if the final result does not match then the amount of loss you experience may not upset you. If you are tired of small budget amounts that can't give you a big win then I don't think it's the right way if you choose to increase the budget amount, because basically gambling is just an activity for profit, so a large budget amount will not fully become a big win, and that means you better go back to your original rules with a small budget amount, that's better.

Most of the gambler was around me was from the casino based gambling sites, even I had 90 ercentage of the game in the casino of my complete game per week.I had some sports bet experience also and was in the Saudi Arabia league and the betting amount was 500 dollars. The fact to the game was I had loss that game in the gambling of sports betting. After that,I had personally stop the gambling based on the sports betting. The five hundred dollars was not the biggest amount in the gambling. But I had decidded to quit the game because of less knowledge about the sports bet during the Saubdi Arabia league football match in the gambling site. The gambler who had more knowledge in the sports bet can choose the sports bet or else use only the casino in the gambling sites.

The experience made me realise that it is not the amount you use for gambling that will make you win and that betting with big amount and big odds does not guarantee winning just like better with small amount and big odds does not also assure winning. It is important to maintain to your bankroll and not over bet by increasing the amount you use in gambling, or increasing the number of times you gamble. You will be lucky gambling when you will be lucky, it does not have to be due to the amount you used in gambling.

It doesn't cause me to bet more or less but it keeps me betting the same amount of money and I don't mind using the money. Until now, I still bet but only on matches that I know. It's not good to bet on matches that I don't know because it will only make me choose randomly, and the result might be that I will lose. But if it's just for fun, I still do it sometimes and don't care about the result.

Football at the Qatar World Cup event and it was still in the group phase, I don't remember exactly how much but it was more than $25 and I was quite happy because I managed to win the bet, the value was certainly not fantastic because many gamblers were willing to bet with larger amounts, even the value could be used to buy luxury goods such as cars and houses.
I'm not a big gambler so the value of $25 on one bet is already big in my opinion because I'm not a fan of parlays so I would prefer to bet on many different bets with smaller amounts of money, in terms of calculations maybe this method is not very good but I prefer to see there are bets those who win choose to bet on many bets, rather than chasing bigger profits by betting on one bet with a large amount of money.

This was a long time ago when I was younger and lacked basic gambling experience. I used my entire wage for a high-paying job to place a bet. Someone who claimed to be an insider brought what everyone perceived to be a sure bet. Out of greed and youthful exuberance, I used my entire wage and sadly I lost everything. It was an experience I will never forget. I had to suffer for weeks because I had to live at the mercy of my coworkers. From that loss, I learned never to bet with all I have, not betting more than you can afford to lose became real to me. I still bet but now with a well-organized gambling budget.

Maybe you are away from luck so it makes it very difficult for you to get a big win even just once, that's luck, we can't force luck to come quickly or often, basically no one will know when they are lucky. Therefore I think that is a very strong reason why we as gamblers should not be excessive in pursuing something that can never be forced to come and never have any certainty. Small wins don't matter buddy, maybe that's all you can get, never force to look for big wins if in the end it just causes a lot of problems.

Now maybe one of the things that makes it quite difficult for you to get a big win is because you gamble quite rarely so you rarely get big luck, but it doesn't matter better that way and I think maybe it's not time yet. You seem to have a good mindset in terms of gambling perspective, you are able to limit yourself by reducing gambling time and only betting small amounts. Yes I think betting on a match that we don't know at all is a waste of time and money, in sports betting you really need knowledge and skills, because the fact is that it can help, but yes consider it entertainment.

My experience in gambling is somehow and I wonder what the problem is sometimes. Of course, I use to experience both wining and losing as that's the nature of gambling but my concern is my winnings mostly occurs when I bet with small amount of money and my loses occur when I bet with larger amount. I still remember the day I was supposed to have recovered all my previous losses with that ticket but unfortunately I used a very meager amount to place the bet. Was just jokingly selecting random big odds and the balance on my wallet is not enough to place reasonable bet and I decided to deliberately waste the money by placing a bet on some selected big odds but the game eventually play out. I was just shaking my head and saying fear gambling on my mind.

I think so too, mate. I'm still far from lucky that I haven't been able to get a big win until now. But I try to enjoy what I get from gambling, whether it's a loss or just a small win, because, as you said, we can't force luck to come. We just try to enjoy our gambling time well and stop gambling at the right time so that we don't experience big losses. We should not gamble excessively, especially in pursuit of a win that is difficult to get, and even if we can only get a small win, that is enough for us. After all, we use gambling only for entertainment and have no desire to make money but if we can win some money, that is a bonus for us that we must be grateful for.

Maybe I don't or can't get that big luck because I rarely gamble. But even though I try to gamble often, I may still have difficulty getting big wins. It would cost me a lot of money that I wouldn't even be able to afford. Well, I can only limit myself in gambling and only gamble with small bets because that is the way we can limit large losses. Betting on gambling or sports betting really requires managing your money to avoid big losses, especially since we know that gambling can tempt us not to want to stop gambling. Sports betting can give big wins but if we know how to analyze the matches. That's why many people keep trying to train and improve their analysis. They want to try to get their big win.

Soccer bet, I never thought that I will lose such game because I was very sure, to the extent that I wanted to kill the bookies, but I forget that know bet is sure, I used my hard earned money, think that it would triple in several folds but my expectation was cut off, in lost that game, I nearly cry because it affected so much that I stay for sometimes before resuming again, it wasn't an easy situation for me, but I let go, I have not erased such memory, the problem with gamblers is that, when their mind is made up to place a bet, there is nothing anyone will say a that moment that will stop them from staking it unless they match has started already, my take is, even though we gamble with less odd losing will still occur, sometimes am even confused with this gambling of a thing.

Boxing obviously, I can't recall when it was, probably pre-pandemic and I have a PM with my other boxing buddy on how much I bet on it. It was like a full 4 weeks of my signature campaign that time, so could be around $400 give or take, and the only thing that I remember is that it was a Charlo fight. I'm trying to check the PM logs, but I have to go one by one. The result is that I won by one, another thing is that there are two Charlo's in boxing, they are twins and I can't recall which one is the winner. Nevertheless, happy times back then. I still bet on boxing matches but not s big at that amount.

Well, like most of the commenters here, I like playing NBA basketball, I also like watching NBA playoffs, and I think that I could give it a try in betting on NBA plays as I have an idea which team could win or not and who's a player I can bet on, and so far, it's good because even if I lose, as I monitor my spending in gambling or betting, I can track that I earn more than losing. And I can't recall the largest amount that I win; I think it's $300–400 in just one bet, and does it make me play more or less? It makes me play or bet more, but of course with discipline in mind, and as a person, I sometimes feel greedy and end up not well. Still,  I know that I can earn from betting, so I only limit myself to one bet per day.

bonus question: did that experience cause you to play more or less? and do you still bet?

I remember the time when I placed my largest bet of about four hundred dollars on a local gambling casino. I was so sure that my bet was on the victorious team and I would win a good amount of money. However, as luck would have it, the outcome was a loss. I was devastated and felt very disappointed with myself for not being able to make the right decision. The experience left me feeling depressed and regretful, and I decided to take a short break from gambling.

I only play multi tickets or parlays so my base bet has never been more than 10-15 dollars and that is not a huge amount nor it has altered if I bet more or less.I keep placing the same bets over and over,I mean same amount as placing the same bets over and over and expecting different results is insanity as that saying says and I am happy with this.I have never needed the urge to bet a huge amount on a single team even when deep inside me I knew this was going to be a winning bet,nor I have done extremes like borrowing money to do that,I am happy with my gambling habits which I have no intention of changing.

I forgot what the biggest amount of money I had ever placed was. But I have never won even a big win. Only the occasional small win and maybe it will be like that because I don't gamble too often.
So that means you are only playing on small odds? I don't like this because when I lose, I can also lose huge. Usually, I gamble on high odds using small amount of money/bets. Even if we don't gamble often, we can still win huge once our luck kicks in and we hit that huge multiplier we are always hunting on. If we gamble rarely, I think it's fine to use a slightly higher amount. You are not obligated though.

You can still stick on your regular routine if your goal is to reduced your gambling habit or to quit gambling soon because you are once an addict. The last thing that you said is true, but if I only want to have fun, I can do that better in casino games.

Like you rightly said, betting with big amount of money on big odds doesn't guarantee that a gambler is gonna win his stakes but it does provide more chances of winning than the small odds because  it's always easier for big odds to play than small odds.
That being said, I think the major factor that determines the chances of winning in gambling is how lucky a gambler can be.

I'm not betting on sports much but I do it regularly when my favorite league provide some nice matches in the weekend. I think my biggest bet was about $50 and it was a parlay bet contains of 5 matches with total odds more than 40x if I remember it correctly. It was a win bet but I did cash out earlier when 2 of the matches finished because I was afraid that I will lose on the 3 other matches. I did it correctly as I would have lost it on the 4th match if I did not do early cash out.

did that experience cause you to play more or less? and do you still bet?

Any result of my gambling will not effect my next betting session because I always use fixed bet amount, what I usually do in sports betting is like: after a lose bet, I'll do the same bet amount but with bigger odds. After a winning bet, bet the same amount but with lower odds.

The largest sports bet have ever placed was $25. Sports betting is not my thing so I didn't place the bet all at once. I did them in sequence. I started with $10 dollars. My prediction was correct so I won $150 because it was just on a game. I continued doing that until I had bet a total of $25. After this, The matches were getting difficult to predict because it was two strong teams playing. When I noticed that I lost my prediction on the first match, I stopped. I didn't want to lose again.

At the weekend there are always interesting matches, especially big teams will always have matches scheduled at the weekend and this is the right time if you want to have fun by betting some money on your favorite team.
But little advice when you choose a multi bet is to set a time that is really possible to watch and see the developments between each match so that what you are betting on doesn't fail.
I agree if you prefer to make cashout after you feel can get number of benefits because intend to take safe steps.
Moreover, in 5 matches when you get 2 wins, that can give you a small advantage that you really have.

It great if you can have finance limits that are really fixed but I little confused by what you said about when a bet loses then take another bet with the same amount and bigger odds and when you win bet again with smaller odds.
How can this result in profits instead of losses?
When the odds are bigger, the chances of winning will be slimmer, but we also don't know what the final result will be, but almost 90% of large odds will only end in defeat.

I think it was $50, I know it's not that high but I'm not a high-roller either. So it was my highest sports bet and the result was disappointing, of course, and after that bet, I stopped betting live.

It was a cricket match from a franchise league, the teams playing were the top one and the team at the bottom. The team that was at the top was in great form, the players were playing extremely well in every single match and they were constantly winning throughout the tournament. And the opponent team had lost all their matches. So, it was pretty obvious which side to choose, but I still didn't do it before the match started.

When the match started, almost after the first half of the first inning, I placed my bet on the favorites, they were playing exceptionally well and there was no doubt they were going to win. The odds were small but I thought it was a guaranteed win, so that's enough. However, the match started turning after the second inning started, the favorites started choking and eventually lost the game.

I don't have any large bets on sports because it's still gambling and I know why I need to only risk what I can afford to lose, either sports or roulette you need to risk what you can afford to lose, if the money you are risking first whenever you lose it them you shouldn't be gambling, you should be building ways to make more money until you get to a spot where gambling no longer hurts.

What kind of hurt can come to you when you are making thousands of dollars in a month and you are risking $100 or $300 every week on gambling? Also gambling money needs to come straight from your entertainment budget, not your savings or mortgage payment.

I use very low amount on gambling and I don't gamble more than two times in a week, and if good amount of money is made in that week I can gamble three times in that week, the amount is too small for me to remember the results but I do know that I lost most of the time.

Well the largest sports bet I have ever placed was boxing for $20. I won because I placed bets on every Naoya Inoue fights. 😁 That experience actually is not a cause why I play more, it is just that I trust the capability of the player. Of course, I will still place bets if I had the chance or has extra money, why not? 😁

I'm not someone who belongs here probably because in all the time I've been playing especially in sportsbooks, I've never even played with more than $10 in each bet made but I tend to gamble a lot every week especially in soccer.
But regardless I think it's a good thing for me because at the end of the day it satisfies my desire to bet on matches that happen in several sports including soccer and e-sports because I also love games so I always try to bet even if it's not much but I'm comfortable with it.

As for how much you bet I think this also depends on your strength in financial stability and I don't want to burn a lot of money within a week or 2 weeks so with this I try to bet with a small amount but for a longer period because in the end what I am aiming for is also not about winning big at once but playing based on my mood when I lose a bet when the bet I created is not more than $10 then I am also not too burdened with it.

That's an easy win bet. I remember this fight also gave me a big win. You know wouldn't really hit big if you just chose the high odds with a small amount to bet.
So you also picked Inoue by KO because the odds as far as I can remember were 2.10 which means that $20 turned $40+ after the fight.

It pays when you know the athlete that you can foresee what he might do to end the fight.  The harder the prediction the higher the odds, if some brave soul predicted Naoya will KO Futon in round 8, he'd be the real McCoy.

I don't think I've ever bet large amounts, even though the match was my favorite club.

The main reason I do sports betting is just to add to the sensation and excitement of watching a match. And on the other hand, I also quite enjoy doing match analysis to just hone my skills and instincts. I only bet the amount I am prepared to lose. Because I don't want the excitement I get when watching matches and betting to end in regret. Because I couldn't bear the defeat I experienced.

When placing bets, we must be prepared to lose, not ready to win. However, if you have more courage to bet a high amount, and are ready to bear the loss. That's fine. as long as before you start betting, you have carried out a thorough analysis. Because if it is done without prior analysis, it is not courage but recklessness.

The important thing is that if I place a bet on sports betting, I can only place a betting amount that I can afford. Even though I am confident in my analysis, I still don't place a bet that is too high because I am always alert to the course of the match. Moreover, I'm also not very good at analyzing matches so by placing appropriate bets, even if I lose, I don't lose a lot of money. But if I win, the amount of money I get won't be too much.

I also don't chase winnings in betting on sports betting. But indeed casino games can provide fun because we play immediately and don't wait like in sports betting. Well, everything has to be adjusted to the capital we have so that we don't gamble excessively.

When I placed 120 dollars( that is my week of day job pay) in a basketball match that I believe and confidently knew will win because that is a game between Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers back  in the years but i was fool enough to not see it coming and I lose, never that I bet more than 20 dollars again, never in my life up to now lol.

once I placed a very high amount for my wallet...  :o (bigger 5K euro less 10K).
Also considering that it was placed on a single point of a final set.... a very big risk... since it doesn't allow any edge or cashout. I was pretty sure of the result and it ended in a win.
I made a "monster" profit in less than 5 minutes.

This event made me play less, in terms of frequency and total amount of money to gamble...
It was not the first time that I have placed an amount so high... in other situation I had also a lost... but it's part of gambling, anyone who tells you that wins everytime is telling a big lie ;)

If you are tired of small budget amounts that can't give you a big win then I don't think it's the right way if you choose to increase the budget amount, because basically gambling is just an activity for profit, so a large budget amount will not fully become a big win, and that means you better go back to your original rules with a small budget amount, that's better.
it appears as though you're the one that's making the thing more complex than it already is for @adultcrypto. I guess what he did isn't different from what an average gamblers does on a regular bases. While you have your limit that you normally wouldn't want to go above, it's just normal to at some point try something big and check if luck will shine on you or not. If he had probably won while he tried his luck, our conversation would have taken a different time and it's possible that you might be currently looking at it as a good gambling approach.

Gambling is a game of luck that involves that you make some crazy decisions at some point without always trying to be too smart. You won't always win on all the bets you place and regardless of wether you're betting with a smaller amount or a bigger one, it wouldn't make a big  difference which time luck will really shine on you and that's one reason why you will observe that most matured gamblers would occasionally stake above there usual lilit and hope that it pays off well. But while you're doing this it's necessary you put it at the back of your mind that anything can go wrong. Play with an amount you're certain that it you loose it, you will still be fine along the line and I guess even after the dude lost the money, it probably didn't affect him that much and that's why he had to just decide he won't be gambling with such amount and didn't resort to taker a worse off decision that could be disastrous to his mental health.

I'm sure those of us in the community have a lot of experience with sports betting, whether betting with a large or small bankroll. conversely, so does defeat. we have extensive experience when it comes to sports betting, whatever the league. For me, not much has changed in terms of my betting principles. For now, especially after the last World Cup ended, I'm not too intense about betting big enough money. However, it all depends on how the match goes. team, and the opportunities we have. Everything is always a consideration for me personally, so only certain moments do I bet with a fairly large bankroll.

Well, I had some moments in sports betting on the world cup in Qatar. Some matches were good from the group phase to the next stage, there were some that gave me a lot of wins.  almost always if I bet with a large enough bankroll, just for a single bet. except, when there are several matches that provide a quite tempting picture of the chances of winning. some of them were during the matches Germany vs Japan, Portugal vs Morocco, the odds available were quite large for the Underdog team. The results were quite satisfying, I even bet on Argentina in the final. Well, for now I'm just betting what I can, not too much and no need to force it. as for everything else, I can bet multibet with any bankroll I want. that is, I don't bet too much. Anyway, tip, bet according to your abilities and can afford to lose. That way, we won't be too burdened when the results don't match expectations.

The highest bet was on sport bet and I could remembered vividly that I staked with upto  100k NGN and I was too sure of the bet making me to increase my wager without the knowledge that there was a little change of player. After I lost that in a local gambling site I was so much disappointed couple with the amount used to stake the bet, although then my risk level weren't high and it hurt me so badly but after I came encountered with that never feels bad like that again and I have always learned my lesson.
