Hi BT-forum, I been thinking a bit of what Bitcoin actually have been giving us (me)  :D

I can start with myself.
I was quite late in the crypto world and my only regret is that I didn't start earlier! The best thing is that thanks to bitcoin I get an extra income every month from trading and I have find new friends that I probably never would meet if it wasn't for Bitcoin. I also for the first time in my life have been able to save some money for a later period in my life and that is only thanks to Bitcoin. I am a small business owner and the most money always go back into the business, but thanks to the Bitcoin-P2P-trading I am also able to save and hold crypto for long time!  :)  So conclusion almost everything is better thanks to crypto, at least for me.  :D
I also in the process to set up a crypto payment system in my shops and I got help from this forum with the process. 🙏

If I am allowed to ask how about you, what is the best thing that have come to you thanks to Bitcoin (crypto)? And is it any negative that came from it?

Without him we probably never would have been here and educate us self, and we don't only learn about Bitcoin we learn about how to handle many situations in life.

You would have made same amount if you had traded stock or other asset aside Bitcoin and you would find more friends outside Bitcoin also. Bitcoin isn't supernatural it is not here to take away all the problems of mankind.
Bitcoin rather is a Crypto-currency asset that can make financial system easier. In my opinion or my experience Bitcoin has made sending funds to my intended receiver fast, cheaper and no third party(bank or government). interference, Bitcoin has giving me the anonymity and privacy I need as I am my own bank, I can save my asset without the rigorous and privacy compromising process needed to open a bank account.

To be honest, you chose the worst possible way to interact with bitcoin.

There were so many ways to approach this. For instance by starting a business in the space or making your own business or the business that employs you to accept bitcoin, or pay employees in bitcoin, or at the very least give bitoin bonuses to clients instead of cashbacks and gift cards...
If that's too ambitious, the easiest way is to buy and hold, become an investor, maybe a miner if you can afford it, a node operator...
Let's say that's too ambitious, maybe start doing DCA? Maybe get a forum "job" and get paid in bitcoin...

No, you chose to use bitcoin as the fiat making machine. Buy some, wait a day for it to go 5% up, sell, pay fees, send it to the bank and pay your tax and boom, you've made a whole 1% in pure profit. Congratulations.

The best thing that ever happened to me because of BTC was that i become part of this forefront development in the finance in transforming to digital currency. Its an interesting transition as we witness the wealth distribution.

Learned so much from crypto community and how the government works gradually framing the regulations of cryptocurrency.

I think majority will agree that we learn to be save because one tenet of bitcoin, if you really wanted to make a huge profit, is to accumulate and hold for a long time. It's more of a mental battle here, but if you understand it then it will be easy on your part for a weekly or monthly grind and doing DCA.

I'm not sure about trading though, I'm not into it because it might take sometime on my end. I have other jobs to do so I just invest whatever I can and again, it's a slow process but it's reward in the end. Just like in what we are right now, bitcoin has recovered from the lowest low last year, yet we are all looking for the block halving next year. So we still have a lot of time to accumulate and then wait for it to happen as it is a catalyst for next bull run and new all time high.

There isn't a single best thing that happened in my life because of Bitcoin but many best things that happened in my life because of Bitcoin. I was also late in knowing about Bitcoin, I learnt about Bitcoin in 2016, and since then I have got a lot of things in my life only because of Bitcoin that I would never get if Bitcoin wasn't there.

I can say that I'm currently living my life with no financial problems and all thanks goes to Bitcoin only. I'm also a trader I can say that it's because of Bitcoin we see those crypto exchanges where people can easily trade Bitcoin with other coins and earn profits for the work. Not only you but we all are thankful to Satoshi for creating this amazing payment option for us.

All of this that you mentioned are much easier said than done. Hopw many businesses you know that pay their employees in bitcoin, or accept bitcoin directly P2P without a 3rd party payment processor? Probably not many, as its not easy at all.


Why do you assume that OP is selling his trading profits for fiat, and how is this any different from other things you recommended like getting into mining, because you surely understand that miners have to sell bictoin on the regular basis to cover their expenses.

I don't know how you works or who you are my friend, but we are all different we humans and I can assure you I would not find more or better friends outside this world then I have now.
I would also never in my life make the same amount from stocks or another asset, the P2P trading I am doing is only efficient with BTC.
And you have right, nothing can solve the problem on the earth or an individuals problem, then individuals and the individual himself, but what he can do is to find paths that will help him reach his goal and BTC have helped me a lot further in my journey! And I am glad Bitcoin gave you the anonymity and privacy I you needed as a bank owner, good job mate and keep grinding!

I P2P trade. I don't wait for Bitcoin to go up or down. I buy from one person I know very cheap, then I sell it on P2P websites and make quite good profit (maybe you haven't heard of this yet?). I also HODL Bitcoin and some more assets, but I can't find a reason for not P2P trading since its more or less like a passive income each month and I make more then enough to pay my bills, put food on the table for me and my cats and also keep and HODL crypto for the future. In as much that Bitcoin brought financial freedom to everyone either from government or becoming rich and others, I love bitcoin because since the creation of bitcoin has been solving problems while the first problem its officially solved brought the inception of a new technology(Blockchain) to the world after the challenges faced in inventing a functioning Blockchain was fixed by it. Now so many types of Blockchain but all this were possible by a simple action by Satoshi in implementing PoW mechanism, God bless Satoshi for his wisdom and knowledge.

There are a few things I want to say in this case, the first is that I don't consider it a delay when in bitcoin because in the end everything that is done whether it's from a few years ago or just starting out all has its portion especially with the situation a few months earlier where bitcoin was still experiencing a decline that was enough to make us comfortable in buying then it was never too late for this.
Secondly I feel that your approach to bitcoin is a little harsh and self-defeating, Not to demean and belittle your strategy but trading with your status as a beginner then the risk is quite high and I'm not even too sure you are profitable every month so therefore instead of using difficult methods it would be better to make a new thing where you do it by investing not trading. Indeed in this case trading is also quite good but it will not be able to be done by beginners who are still very high risk and I do not recommend this for beginners.

One of the best things for me is that I can receive payments and make transactions seamlessly with it.
Another is the independence of my finance. I have Salem control over it and can make purchases with ease as well as investments for the future.

If not for the high fees we experience currently, the use of it to secure a happy Christmas celebration would have paid off well, but we know how it is that even the interest rates has even increased as well as the price of BTC and cost of transaction fees between P2p and for payments from the memepool. Still it is still one of the best things that has happened to me.

The best thing? The absolute best part of getting into crypto was meeting all the awesome people in the community.  I've made some really interesting connections and gotten to work on some super neat projects that literally wouldn't even exist without bitcoin and blockchain being a thing.  The whole mindset shift that came along with decentralized finance is fascinating to me.

On the friends aspect, i agree with that because I have come across a lot of people while interacting in Bitcoin and i must say that, I wouldn't have met them if for bitcoin had brought our interests together and involved in it related discussions, is very important for us to make a clear standing on the human aspect which can not be measured in terms of monetary aspects, because many times we tend to focus only on the profits side of things cryptocurrency has offered us a lot of chances to interact with other on different bases and we can't take that for granted at this point, much more also we had a lot of careers support through crypto and that have been much helpful to many of us.

The best thing about Bitcoin is that it's changed my life. If there weren't Bitcoin, then I couldn't become a crypto marketer and couldn't earn a handsome amount that changed my life. Since I joined the forum, I have learned a lot of things that I have been applying in my life. I have a crypto marketing service out of that forum, from which I earn Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. So big thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto for a life-changing gift.

Socialization is one of the most important thing I will say thanks to bitcoin at least for giving us a chance to come together and mingle with other people ( which called diversity) we learn from other people and their ways of judgement, talks and whatever. Secondly I have been dependants on bitcoin for long period now and It worths saying thank to bitcoin especially we the africans precisely Nigeria it has help in giving youth employment which they are busy with learning either trading or something that would generate income at the end of week/month and there are lots of people who are always occupying themselves with content creation and skits making. The only regrets I would mention of bitcoin is not holding enough and not joining when it was launched though then it wasn't that clear and understandable to our regions even as that I am not still sure I would hold till date, so in all ramification it has impacted in my life positively.

Well, talking about friends, yeah, I got to meet some new class of friends when I joined the crypto space, and I have also been able to win some people into Bitcoin, and they became my friends too. If not for Bitcoin, I would not have gotten to meet a few friends that have actually been very helpful to me in one way or another. I have also made a profit from my Bitcoin investment, and I think that if I had not invested the money in Bitcoin, it might have gone into some other investment that might not have been as fruitful as Bitcoin or into some scam projects. Some years ago, I invested in one company that disappeared with my money, and I always regret that experience because if I had invested in Bitcoin with that money, I know I would not have lost the money.

You are not yet late, mate. Bitcoin's price is still low and favorable for investment. People who had the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin at its early stages were fortunate, but it doesn't mean those who invested at this time were late because no one can forecast the exact amount Bitcoin will reach in the future. Instead of being sorry that you were late, it is best to invest now when the price is still rising because we don't know how the price will appear in the near future.

Yeah, majority of us who found bitcoin early, it give us a way to earn, like joining signature campaigns and then we can start from that. Whether we trade or just be a hold and regular investor. And as someone said, the financial freedom that we got from it. I joined in 2017, so obviously I was able to catch the bull run that time, and it really taught me a lot as far as investing goes. And with the profits I got, I was able to buy things not just for me but for my family as well. So big thanks to Satoshi and his creation, although up to this time there are still a lot of negative things that we hear about it, but for those who have been in the market long enough knows that Bitcoin is the best thing that happened to us.

Seriously, I was just able to hold around a million worth of value in my local currency because of my involvement in crypto.

I wouldn't experienced having that kind of money if I only relied on my monthly salary in my day job before even working for several years up to decades. Because of crypto, I never imagined some of the good things that happened in my life that I didn't even expect to happen. Able to build our own house, own a car, 2 motorcycles, a decent brand bicycle, an upgraded PC, and many more. I didn't expect those things to happen in reality as I'm just an average earner.

Although lack BTC funds right now and have a short now to financial budget unlike before, what matters is, that I am able to take advantage of my crypto profits.

Even though there are too many of them I think the best thing is, when I have my own small business with the help of Bitcoin and now I'm trying to find a way to apply Bitcoin to my business since it's applicable.  I'm very thankful that I'm a part of the Bitcoin community and as the same as other experiences, Bitcoin has a great impact on ourselves.

Though the concept of Bitcoin is to become peer-to-peer payment transactions, but our perspective is to make a potential profit which makes Bitcoin rapidly increase users and holders.

Everything that I have right now, the lifestyle, the financial success, the opportunities that came afterwards even though countless times I've told myself and been told by others that bitcoin and crypto is a one-hit wonder. All of this is thanks to bitcoin.

I've started with nothing in this industry, just a broke high-school student trying to make ends meet in an age bracket where money matters the most. Saw bitcoin and from there, I didn't leave it anymore. There's been hiccups along the way, and I lost so much from scams, hacks, and all that stuff, but my perseverance to upskill and not just remain as an idle passerby in this industry, and actually learn the ropes about this industry had led me to so many opportunities that I can confidently say now that I'm successful, and continuously becoming even more successful, and all because I took a quick glance at what bitcoin is few years ago.

You could have earn more if you also invest in bitcoin for long term. While trading gives higher and faster profits, investing should not also be underrated as it can also give you life changing profits especially if you hold bitcoin for 10-20 years. Your income might have gone incomparable.

But to be honest, instead of seeing bitcoin as purely a tool to earn a living, we should also treat bitcoin as to how its originally designed, by using it as a real currency. Use it also as a mode of payment every time you decide to buy that can be paid with bitcoin, that is one way to promote bitcoin to those people who are never aware that bitcoin is a currency. It's best if we can utilize bitcoin being a currency and an investment tool, and not only focus on how bitcoin will provide us an income.

Indeed. Bitcoin is not for the money or profits or investment only, we must appreciate why Bitcoin is created. Just think and appreciate you can pay someone on your own that no one cares at all or without using any bank because if you are just using  Bitcoin, it seems you already banking on your own, from your pocket only.

The difference between what I was able to do when I learned how to earn bitcoin compared to when I was an employee before was huge. Because when I was in a company before, I didn't experience being able to buy things that I couldn't buy when I was an employee, but when I got involved in the Bitcoin industry, I got other things that I wanted that I didn't get when I was a former employee. .

Until now, I am still staying in the Bitcoin field of business, which means it is just proof that it helps my own family in terms of all the daily expenses and bills. At last I invested in real estate in which is payables in 5 years where I send monthly payment or installments.

The best thing about BTC is that I have become more financially independent. Whereas earlier I decided to do many types of work for money but still could not find any way to earn money. But when I got related to Bitcoin then gradually I got to know about Bitcoin and at one time I started earning from Bitcoin. Although I hold Bitcoin for the future in the hope that it will give me huge profits. Although I don't trade bitcoins I think all trading is risky and the most likely to lose money is the more time you face losses due to market volatility. That's why I decided to quit trading and hold bitcoins, and my plan is to keep bitcoins as my asset for the future. So coming to the crypto world I am hoarding bitcoins to save money for my future so that I can get more profits and gains in the future.

It would be very nice if we had a new source of income, especially if we can obtain it regularly so that it can improve our family's economy. congratulations to you and of course you must be able to manage your finances well so that in the future our finances can develop and of course this will make the economy easier in our old age. and don't forget to diversify assets so that in the future we can cover each other's shortcomings

It seems easy to say, but the important thing is that only a few countries accept and allow people to use bitcoin as a means of payment, the rest will face many difficulties when using bitcoin in payment. Like in my country and locality, I can't even find a store that accepts bitcoin or cryptocurrency payments, how can I use it as currency?

Investing in bitcoin comes in many forms and we will easily do it even if the majority does not support it. But using it as a currency and means of payment requires crowd consensus. How will you pay with bitcoin if no stores accept it?

There's so much I owe to Satoshi Nakamoto. But I guess the best thing that Bitcoin gave me is freedom. Unfortunately, it's not the kind of freedom that Satoshi envisioned. I'm still tied up to the banks and the currency of the government and the rotten system on which it thrives. But at the very least I'm now enlightened about it. And such freedom will surely come in the near future.

The freedom that I'm talking about, however, is the freedom from being an 8-5 modern-day slave. Thanks to Bitcoin, I don't have to work as an employee anymore. Life's still hard more or less, but being in control of your time and movement is priceless.

Well, if I'm to quantify what Bitcoin has done for me I would say various; though I haven't been able to become affluent through it. I'm still that struggling dude out there. Yes, I've had a couple of near misses where I could've achieved that affluent status but for greed. Nonetheless, the great thing for me in this industry is that my involvement has enabled me empower a few others and provided them a source of livelihood, even outside here. I offer tutorials on Bitcoin and crypto trading. To me, that's a great fulfilment. Now I'm counting down to another bull run, hopefully I don't miss out on the Benjamins again.

For cryptocurrency investment and precisely bitcoin none is waste of time and their is no time someone invested in bitcoin that is waste of time or late to invest in cryptocurrency and mostly bitcoin,  some of you do regret whenever they invest in bitcoin and that doesn't mean that bitcoin  as investment have to do with scam, its a mindset that prompt people to invest in bitcoin and if you don't understand the rudiments and procedures of bitcoin you will think that as you invest in bitcoin is late to you whereas its not late and I believe that it can never be late.

Actually the normal time someone can invest in bitcoin and make a huge amount of profit is the person target the time of bearish season and makes sure that during the dip time you purchase bitcoin and wait exactly when the time will go down, so therefore I believe that bitcoin investment is something that have advantages and disadvantages during the process of investment and when you understand the scenario of bitcoin you will ensure that bitcoin is a good investment

Those of us who already use Bitcoin should be grateful to Satoshi because he has given us something very, very useful. From Bitcoin, we can earn a small income by trading it and also having investments. Many of us start investing with a limited amount of money. But that doesn't stop us from continuing to invest until we have a lot of satoshis.

From Bitcoin, we can save some money for our future, buy something we want from the profits we earn, and so on. Many of us have succeeded in having our own businesses and also have investments in Bitcoin. That's why many of us are still trying to collect more satoshis.

And it's never too late to become the next Bitcoin investor. Moreover, now is still a good time for those who are just starting to invest in Bitcoin. Once again, thank you Satoshi. We can all change our lives for the better.

For me, it's the knowledge. I was still in college when I first heard about Bitcoin. I learned some needed information after a few weeks of doing research and gathering information from someone I know. I learned about investing, its importance, and such as, about the technology, what and why it is created, and how it will be beneficial to everyone.

The knowledge I learned that time is still useful till this day. But learning about Bitcoin will not end there, in our daily lifetime with cryptocurrency, everyone should continue to learn and gather information as this technology also continues to grow time after time.

Why regretting when you already started? There's nothing to regret here as far as you are already in the process. Not starting at all should be the reason to regret and the text under your signature says you don't have to be great to start but you have to start to be great. That's the power of taking a step. Bitcoin unarguably, has created an opportunities for majority of us in one or the other and all accolades to the inventor. But, we have to acknowledge the first source where we get the money from to start our bitcoin journey. Without that source, it wouldn't have been possible to kick start the bitcoin journey. In my own case, Bitcoin has open path for financial freedom freed from intimidation and manipulation from government and its agency.

This is a nice answer, material possessions can come and go but knowledge will stay with you forever and you will be able to apply it in all kind of different circumstances, so if at some point you decide to diversify your portfolio and invest in an asset other than bitcoin, the knowledge that you have already will come in handy and it will allow you to become successful way sooner than someone that is just starting out investing in that asset and that has no prior experience.

Because of the love for Bitcoin technology I became a tech savvy. I was first into so many things, untill I started my first course as a UI designer. Soon I got my friend job and it turns out that my client is a Bitcoin enthusiast. All his ideas were all into cryptocurrency and Bitcoin trading. At first I had no clue on how to go on some project so he urged me to learn about Bitcoin.

I could remember the first thing I owned was a Metamask wallet and that was when I took my first payment in USDT from my client. So yh, Bitcoin made me start receiving payment in cryptocurrency and not in my local fiat. By now I would be panicking because of the inflation in my country if I had received in fiats.

Bitcoin is like a blessing to me. Having bitcoins allows me to store my wealth very easily. Whatever saved me from having to put it in the bank now or face these complications. On the other hand, with Bitcoin I can protect the privacy of my assets which is not possible with any other means. And Bitcoin has profit potential which also serves as my source of income.

I was introduced to Bitcoins before 2015. At that time, I hardly earning anything, and was dependent on my parent’s money. But later on I made some many or basically earned some Bitcoins. Hence from that point of time, I started spending money of my own and bought expensive items which I dreamt of buying. So if Bitcoins were not invented, then I would not have achieved this. I remembered buying a gaming PC worth 3000$, and all this due to the Bitcoins.

I agree that some connections and people wouldn't form if BTC wasn't invented. There would be a lot of opportunities missed if it wasn't for it and it definitely helped me with my wants because I got to have extra financial help that wouldn't be necessarily directly affecting my priorities which is definitely cool.

You have to know that investing in a bitcoin is not avenues to get rich, the thing I really want us to understand concerning bitcoin is that it have to do with advantages and disadvantages, so therefore do not keep your for bitcoin investment as a permanent source of income otherwise it will fail you as a human, so therefore you have to know that bitcoin investment is sure for life, at least someone who is investing in bitcoin should not take it a permanent work so therefore investment is investment that can yield positive today and yield negative tomorrow that is while it's advisable to ensure that bitcoin investment have to do with timing and it's good to use a spare money for the investment.

Well, besides those small profits I earned before that I've accumulated from purchasing fractions and signature campaign earnings, there are still something more bitcoin could offer give us in the future. Right now, it honestly put most of the people who trust bitcoin in a temporarily relief regarding the doubts and fears that their money might gradually lose it's purchasing power due to inflation if it stays somewhere including banks.
Bitcoin also gave me additional savings that I could garner in the next few years, right after I retire from my day job. That's something that eases my worries in the future when I decided to quit working for a company.

I have achieved a stable financial life because bitcoin exists and I might have a rossy time at old age. Bitcoin has given room to a low income earner like me to invest in, and I must say that bitcoin investment is my first investment that I have ever involved myself in. I might have a rossy life at old age because I intend to hodli my bitcoin investment till I get to my bitcoin target.

I wouldn't be able to have financial freedom of being my own bank if not for bitcoin. I can have 3btc and if I didn't disclose this to anybody, no one will know. The knowledge and innovation behind it is superb. If not for bitcoin, I wouldn't be able to earn in bitcoin which this forum has given us the opportunity to earn in bitcoin.

The intentional inventions of Bitcoin is not to make the world a better place rather it is to offer some individuals who are into its investment and end to make a ease to poverty and also means of trading exchanges.
So... I would still take part of the being in the fairness to lives during the uninvented of Bitcoin as there had been diverses of Bitcoin such as engaging on the conventional trades, an employee or related online platform that offers earning (payment).

@BabyBandit, Bitcoin is not a trading platform that offers a monthly because of its volatility, the values of your coins in the trading markets could tend to depreciates or appreciates according to time that is undefined depending on the volumes of demands in the Bitcoin markets.
So Your income is only come when the Bitcoin markets is appreciated definitely not on the Monthly basis.

Of course as long Bitcoin is a digital online trading, it is a means of networking and connecting with people within homes and away.
Specifically people who are upright to inspire and awakening your slumbers of unproductive engagements to productive engagements and sharing knowledgeable ideas to reveal the potentials of  your productive being and Aspirin to inspire your inner being to realities.

The intentional inventions of Bitcoin has really been beyond its potentials whereas its measures of trends is not only specifically to proffer riches to its Investors but also a aids to educate, connects and enhances ones on diversifications to tackle economical situations in diverses.

If anyone thinks that by investing they will get rich quickly, I think this is because they have a wrong understanding of Bitcoin, because in investing in Bitcoin there are many things we have to learn and have to go through various processes so that we can get a profit from the investment. What we do, when investing, is that we have to use the spare money that we have or money that we will not use for any other purpose so that we don't have problems when we are investing.

op I don't think you are too late to trade bitcoin. You still have enough time to trade bitcoins. Of course you should trade bitcoins after checking the market carefully. When it comes to trading Bitcoin, you need to plan for the long term. Don't be too hasty in Bitcoin trading, check the market and you will be successful in trading Bitcoin. I don't think you will make good friends if you only trade in Bitcoin. Of course, if you do business in any other field, there will be many friendships with you. If you are interested in trading bitcoins I have enough time for you to get started

Exactly everyday is the best time to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin rises and falls at any time. Don't think that because you didn't invest early when the price was very low that you won't make a profit if you invest now. I think some people don't understand bitcoin strategy up thing now, because if you invest any amount on bitcoin if you are patient and leave it for long term definitely you will make a profit even if it is small. Sowhy do some people say they regret not investing early, I believe it is better to focus on the issue rather than complain because bitcoin is volatile and the price fluctuates, so it is better to invest now and leave it for the next 2 to 3 years and you will see the reward, just forget about the pass and continue on your investment journey.

If without BTC intercepted in my life? I would not have bought my first car , yeah it is second hand
but at least I am now a car owner that only a dream for me since I start working in day Job, but with what I earned in Bitcoin investment
and of course help of some altcoins that I do trust , not I have a car and yeah planning to Buy my new house in the next bullrun if ever happen
to make the price a Hundred thousand and above because my investment is enough to buy even a two story house(of course added my
house now to be sold first) also may have go to tourist in other country if lucky to earn more than i expected.

One of the best that happened to me was when I am in need of money and I have my relative given me a loan and I've used BTC for guarantee that I can pay but not a collateral. Honestly, I'm not that person that takes loan but it was just that I have to during that time and I'm very much in need because I was short and I don't want to sell my BTC for it. Because if I do, I'd definitely not going to buyback that if I sell and didn't took the loan.

The good side of it was my relative was so supportive to me and understood my situation and I am in need of that cash but also was aware that I can pay that debt because I have my holdings and never shown it and the good news, I've got what I need for that very much important part when I am in need, I paid my loan from my relative and never sold my BTC.  8)

Almost everything, because what I have achieved today is all thanks to Bitcoin and crypto, I started with nothing and ended with everything, money, value, respect, peaceful living, I got married and all I spent was from Bitcoin, I bought my first car with Bitcoin, I am able to take care of my mother after my father passed and many other things.

Well, not all the things that I want, but I can say that because of bitcoin, I brought those things that I want slowly, meaning the things that I can't afford when I don't have an investment or side hustle are not possible to bring, not all because I'm not that rich or a super high earner, just a bit enough for me to buy what I want and what I need. I just want to say that what I have from my house, car, expensive equipment I am using are all profits I got from investing in bitcoin and altcoins. I am still in collection mode and I am not thinking about the profits yet. The collection mode is on because I am focusing on the DCA strategy. In addition to this, I am doing alt mining with RVN coin but for me, Bitcoin is the primary coin so anything that I earn from that machine is straight away swapped for BTC. If you would ask me about its use case then I have bought various things using BTC just for fun. Whether it is Amazon coupons or BTC-based prepaid cards, I have used them and it feels just right while transacting that way. Apart from this, I am taking my mod salary from one of the micro-tasking sites using BTC only. That straight-up goes into my ledger. So I also have experience of getting paid in BTC which gives a unique feel to it. My dream is to make a full Bitcoin soon (or maybe more). I think you learned trading a little early in the world you entered and I respect your learning. I agree with you because after all, bitcoin is a financial market and being financial there will be winners and losers. In financial markets, money flows from the weak hands to the diamond hands, there will never be a financial market that makes everyone a winner and no losers. So just because we are successful and profitable from bitcoin doesn't mean we should encourage or force people to participate in it. I even consider this the toughest financial market because its risk level is higher than other markets.

No platform is paying me anything, the money I earn in this specific case is because I buy BTC for one price and sell it to another price (Simple: P2P-TRADING). I try to find as many payment solutions as possible so I can satisfy as many people around the world as possible, you have right that patient is the key to many things, for example to always re-invest the profit and not cashing it out so you can improve in trading volume.
Now I am a bit lucky that have a good friend that can sell me BTC very cheap and when I sell BTC it all from 5% to 15% over market value. honestly you will make quite good profit from P2P-trading.

Nope he means trading (personally trading by yourself) which can be done on any exchange both decentralized or centralized, it's very simple to understand and it's more of a good way to get income form the industry. You can make money from Bitcoin through investing and hodling or trading. Tracing isn't encourage for newbie because it's risky and can make you to lose when you don't know what you're doing but if you have gained the knowledge of trading properly and also have enough experience, you can make good incomes from trading both altcoins and Bitcoin. We have those that are depending on trading for their income and it's working great for them. If you learn you can also belike them but do note it's not the safest way to make money from the industry as hodling Bitcoin is.

I have my opinion and you have yours, we have different ways to top and its no wrong in another. As I said. I HODL Bitcoin and other currencies.
But I don't think its more risky to buy a banana for 1000 dollar and sell it for 1115 dollar then invest in something that either will lose value or gain value.
The banana will always give you at least $115 in profit, everytime, everyday guarantee, that's nothing a investment can guarantee even if it probably will give be very good.

Sorry, either you are mistaken or I misunderstood. But I think you are wrong because I have not personally seen any risk in a long-term investment in bitcoin. As you can see, the price of Bitcoin has been rising continuously. Those who had made earlier investments and held them from the perspective of long-term investments were not guilty of any losses because it was not possible for long-term investments in Bitcoin to give you losses. Risk is found in something that devalues with time, but Bitcoin has not lost its value; it is rising with time. Those people have not smelled the smell of losing because the price of Bitcoin is still 37k after the continuous increase, which is free of risk.

I would say probably my job? I mean thanks to my job I have been working comfortably for years and years, and I would say that is the best thing that has ever happened to me. If we do not really consider just money stuff and just things in general, I would say I have a bit of better understanding of how things work, like in the finances world, and that means that I get to save better, in assets, and stopped putting money in liabilities most of the time, still do at times but less at least. Long story short, it has turned my life into a much better one, I got a great job and I got a great investment, all thanks to bitcoin. Without bitcoin, I would have ten times worse life right now.

Hi GbitG thanks for taking time to reply. When I said that, I didn't had a specific coin in mind. I was just comparing what is the most safest, invest long term or buy an item for one price and sell it for another.
My English is terrible but I will try to explain. But first P2P-trading is not trading and trading is not P2P-trading. Its two totally different things.

Bitcoin go up and down every day as every coin. If you invest in let's say Bitcoin and you hold long-term, you probably will make a profit but its not guaranteed.
When I P2P-trading with Bitcoin I buy Bitcoin for one price and sell it for another I make around 13% in profit for most trades but some trades I make less and when I reload my P2P account I sell all my balance within few hours every time. If Bitcoin goes down in price form the time I deposited Bitcoin to my P2P account and from when I selling the Bitcoin then of course the profit will be less, this happen alot in the beginning, but now I almost sell my coins under one hour so this risk is nothing I need to be so worried about atleast for now.
You probably wont lose money if you invest long-term in Bitcoin and that the most of us can agree on here, I also hold Bitcoin and more coins.
But when people saying its much more risky to P2P trade then long term invest they obvious don't know how one of them works.
I would say its a very very very small chance to lose money if you long-term invest in Bitcoin and impossible to lose money on P2P-trading. (If you have been P2P-trade for a while and build yourself a reputation on the site you using and got yourself a "network" of other traders)

Also... P2P is good for them who maybe don't have a high income to get a chance to own Bitcoin and also increase their Bitcoin amount.
We don't need to choose to either invest or trade, I do both and it fits me perfect.

Yes, everyone has different investment views and we are just discussing, I do not mean to criticize or disparage you or anyone. Because at the end of the day, you invest with your money and I invest with mine, no one depends on anyone, so no one has the right to criticize others. To me, we should do what we think is right and best for ourselves. We don't need to follow or imitate anyone because that formula may be good for them but may not be suitable for us.

I'm sure its been mentioned already but for me its been the freedom from banks. I'm no longer at their mercy anymore and have the freedom to move around my own money as I see fit. I don't really even have to use exchanges anymore, and the last time I transferred money from a bank to an exchange was 2014.

Of course every service I use charges a fee of some sort, anywhere from 1-3%, so using BTC isn't necessarily as frictionless as fiat, but the peace of mind I get from knowing that my own money is mine, can never be frozen or controlled, makes it worth it.

I don't have any physical stuff that have come to me yet as most of my bitcoin are still not sold and hopefully that's going to be the case for a really long time because I feel like I deserve a really large profit for the time that I've been hodling bitcoin for now though I would say that thanks to bitcoin I have the financial knowledge and financial freedom that I currently relishing although I feel like I'm somehow taking it for granted too but this post has reminded me that I should spend my money wisely.

I don't have a career yet although I hope I come to that point where I will be able to have that one too, I'm currently working a dead end job but with this job, the free time that I have is pretty useful for doing other stuff that I want to do like finding other ways to make money.

OK I'll add the other good thing BTC allowed me to have which are my own "vintage" Counterparty assets (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735356.0). A lot them are now worth something thanks to an emerging collector's market of old tokens on the major blockchains, mainly Bitcoin, Ethereum & Dogecoin, and to a lesser extent Namecoin and Monacoin. Some of the stuff I made back in 2014 turned out to be "firsts" for tokenization use cases, even if they didn't have pictures of frogs or apes attached to them.

I only wish I'd bought Spells of Genesis (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=957797.0) tokens and Rare Pepes (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617264.0) when they came out in 2015-2016... some of them are worth mad money right now.

Bitcoin is without a doubt the best investment ever made, both with and without government approval. Many people today rely on bitcoin for their daily needs, so I will always be grateful for the day I learned about it. Nobody will ever regret learning about cryptocurrencies; many young people today make a lot of money from small investments or side gigs. Anyone who feels guilty about knowing about bitcoin is either misinformed about it or has not had enough exposure to it.

The greatest thing I have learned about bitcoin is that it has helped people realise that, in the absence of government, they can still pursue their dreams by working hard and investing in the cryptocurrency. It is a waste of time to search for a government job when there are other options available, and I think that, in the current day and age, many people especially the youth will suffer in the absence of cryptocurrency.

That is very noble of you. Working with bitcoin creates a decent income, and most probably you are earning well already that made you capable to help some people when it comes to their finances. That is the simplest form of helping bitcoin to be known on my place. Also I put some bitcoin stickers on my car so that many people could see and maybe it can rise up some curiosity especially if they see a bitcoin logo placed there.

We have different form to help but don't ever think about it as mandatory especially on financing since if you need your family need this the most then do it since the welfare of your family is more important than any other else. Also we can do some simple way to spread the word about bitcoin.

Everyone who has come to know about Bitcoin is grateful for this platform whether they are successful or not. Especially Satoshi Nakamoto's invention of Bitcoin is a boon for modern people. Those who are not yet successful can keep their determination here to succeed in future. But my advice to newbies is to not get too excited about getting bitcoins but plan for the long term and know how to safely hold bitcoins for the future. If you are willing to trade bitcoins i would say as a newbie it makes sense to hold rather than trade. As Bitcoin is highly volatile there is a risk of losing money at any time. It can be considered as a suitable platform for beginners if they hold it for the long term after having good knowledge about bitcoin.

Investment can be successful or failed, and not all investors get profit even they invest in Bitcoin.

Though Bitcoin has a best ROI last 14 years [1] and 91.9% of 4853 days of holding Bitcoin is profitable [2], not all people engaged with Bitcoin will have profit. The number of people lost, failed with bitcoin is even bigger than 91.9% because many people had bad entries and made bad decisions to exit with losses.

I am very unsure about it. Rely on Bitcoin for their daily needs, it sounds too much. I love Bitcoin and work for Bitcoin but totally rely on it, I am not and it is risky if your life depends on Bitcoin completely.

In my case it completely changed the way I see money. I never paid too much attention about money management, I never spent too much, I tried to save some money, but that was it. Bitcoin made me think and ask myself some stuff I never even thought about before, and if now my financial situation is better is mainly thanks to bitcoin.

Why don't you develop your business by accepting Bitcoin as payment for goods and services, isn't that very interesting especially if you already know very well about Bitcoin. Bitcoin can take you anywhere depending on your ability and will, many of the best things have been obtained by different users thanks to Bitcoin. You can increase your income from trading and investing in Bitcoin, you can also bring it into your business if the people around your place of business are very close to Bitcoin.
