Hi

I purchased BTC via Coinbase today and then transferred to my wallet on blockchain.com,it has been confirmed that the BTC is received but it does not show up in the DeFi wallet on blockchain.com,its been more than 12 hours,what can I do next?

I talked to customer care,they mentioned that they can see using Hash ID and my DeFi wallet address that transaction has been received,but not sure why it does not show up in wallet?

Can I use some other wallet and transfer funds from blockchain.com,will it show up then?

if you don't care all that much about privacy, it might be a good idear to post the transaction id here... My best guess without tx id would be that the transaction is unconfirmed (usually because of a low fee), but without looking at the actual transaction, the only thing we can do is guess...

What do you mean by "it has been confirmed that the BTC is received"? Did Coinbase confirm that the funds have been sent? or did you check the TXID?

If the latter, then you may want to start by checking that the receiving address is the correct one.

Hope you sent it to the correct address. Check you Blockchain.com (receiving) address and make sure that it was sent to the address.

Make sure that your internet connection is good and your wallet is connecting and synchronizing with bitcoin blockchain.

Where did you check the tx id? On an independent block explorer?

If you copy the transaction id, and verify it on an independant block explorer (like blockchair or blockstream), and you are 100% sure you're using the actual blockchain.com wallet (and you did not fall for a phishing scam), and you're 100% sure the address showed on blockchain.com is exactly the address shown on blockchair or blockstream when looking up the transaction, and you're 100% sure the transaction is confirmed, the only thing left to do is contact blockchain.com's support dept i'm afraid.

How about importing the seed phrase on another noncustodial wallet which is better.

If you sent it to the correct address and your wallet is not a fake one, I will advise you to import your seed phrase on another noncustodial wallet like Electrum or Sparrow. For mobile, you can use Electrum, Bluewallet or Samourai.

If it is Electrum, you will have the check ✔️ BIP39 when importing the seed phrase and also the derivation part is native segwit for bc1 addresses.

I have been using this wallet for last 2 years,never had any issues,so I dont think its a fake one

So, how do you explain the problem you're facing? It doesn't have to be that you're using a fake wallet, but if you can't access the funds on your wallet even though other independent blockchain explorers show that the transaction is confirmed and you claim that the receiving address is correct, the only remaining explanation is that the problem is with your wallet.

Sometime back, I would come across complaints of Blockchain.com wallet being buggy and not displaying the right balance due to probably syncing issues. This is very likely the same problem you are facing. You could try clearing the APP data, update the app if necessary and Re-login to see if it solves the issue, but I advise you to change the wallet to another one as suggested as soon as possible.

Blockchain.com is a closed source wallet that can not just be trusted. You don't know what's happening behind the scenes.

Try to click their dedicated "refresh" (circular arrow) button on the upper-right (not the browser's refresh button).
It'll trigger a full recan for wallet-related transactions using their wallet API.

How about the output, is it unspent yet?
Check your Transaction history by clicking "Bitcoin" on the left-hand side and see if there's no unfamiliar outbound txn in the transaction history.

It might have been a bug while using at that time as we know that this web wallet has a few bug issues.
Within these 2 years, have you frequently used Blockchain wallet?  If so, you might be familiar with the problem you encountered.

I tend to agree with the comment above of my post, since I suspected it was a bug, try to refresh and might it work.
The problem with this wallet when you reach their support might take a long time for them will respond to you, as there are a bunch of tickets unsolved.

Have you done with the idea of importing your blockchain wallet to the non-custodial wallet?
