Title: Converting PYUSD to decentralized crypto
Post by: btcinfo891 on November 23, 2023, 07:14:34 PM
Hi,

I have some PYUSD (less than $2,000) and want to convert them to real decentralized crypto, e.g. BTC, ETH, DASH, etc. Can anyone recommend a marketplace for that? I would prefer a DEX, but after some search I could not find one supporting PYUSD, so I guess a CEX without KYC will do as well. After a bit of searching I found that Huobi supports PYUSD and does not require KYC, i.e. it supports KYC but it's not mandatory. I am not sure if there are other suitable CEXes.

Any advice or pointers to suitable DEXes or CEXes will be greatly appreciated!

If you hate KYC and don't mind much about Ethereum gas fees, you can use;
1. Uniswap;
- PYUSD/USDC - https://app.uniswap.org/swap?inputCurrency=0x6c3ea9036406852006290770bedfcaba0e23a0e8&outputCurrency=0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48
- PYUSD/USDT - https://app.uniswap.org/swap?inputCurrency=0x6c3ea9036406852006290770bedfcaba0e23a0e8&outputCurrency=0xdac17f958d2ee523a2206206994597c13d831ec7

And then you convert the USDC or USDT to ETH. I got the links directly from coingecko

2.  Curve.fi
You can convert it to USDC, USDT or even directly to ETH.

Please keep an eye on the trading volumes and spread.

Many thanks! Uniswap was the first DEX that I checked but somehow I managed to miss those pairs  :D
And indeed keeping an eye on the spread is imporant.

I haven't used Curve.fi before but will definitely check it.
