Title: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: notfairchild on November 23, 2023, 07:29:33 PM Are there any sites which shows coins even more earlier than miningpoolstats?
thanks in advance. Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: target on November 23, 2023, 07:45:41 PM Like KASPA in the early stage, you could even mine it with CPU? Unfortunately, we can only find out later when the price is already considerably high and mining already requires us to use GPU. Who knows what could happen to KAS, maybe it will be like BTC whose hash will increase and will need ASIC soon. I'm not really familiar with the coin but one way to find out which coin is good to mine at an early stage is to keep communicating with fellow miners. See what they are up to. Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: alani123 on November 23, 2023, 07:54:58 PM When big teams create a new project they usually register social media accounts. So you can monitor for new subreddits/twitters etc. created.
For new subreddits, you can look here: https://www.reddit.com/subreddits/new Not sure about new twitter accounts. Maybe you can monitor hashtags. This requires scrapping and potentially manual labor to filter out the results. But afaik it's now the most reliable method to find out about new altcoins. Probably though, most new coins are not going to be mineable. Most newly released cryptos start out as tokens, or are designed from the start to be tokens forever, on blockchains like BSC that don't allow mining. Back in the day the announcements board of this forum was all the rage. Now that the space has grown most cryptocurrency users aren't even aware of bitcointalk so crypto teams don't bother that much. But you can still lurk the altcoin announcements board in hopes of finding something. Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: mindrust on November 23, 2023, 08:08:20 PM Why bother? Most of them won't be listed on any exchanges anyway. How are you going to pick the lucky coin? It is impossible to guess because like I said your chances are near to zero. Instead of doing this, just buy the newly listed coins on binance and you will have the same chances of making money. (probably even better chances)
You should just mine the most profitable coin with your miners. That's how mining works. If you want to gamble later on, do what I say and buy some shitcoins. Unless you have some insider information from the exchanges, you can't win that way. (mining unlisted coins) Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? (mining unlisted coins) He just asked for information about where to get information on the latest PoW coins earlier than miningpoolstats, there's nothing wrong with that. It's possible that he wanted to look for a potential project like Kaspa and didn't want to miss out on it. Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: o48o on November 23, 2023, 09:21:08 PM Are there any sites which shows coins even more earlier than miningpoolstats? I used to monitor Altcoin announcements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) in here for that, as it was considered to be fair launch when everyone knew beforehand before mining starts. I am not sure if that's a correct protocol to announce these days. thanks in advance. I think miningpoolstats is your best bet but you might want to ask from altcoin mining (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0) section in here. I am sure that there are way more active miners who are experts on this subject. -cut- Interesting angle, but how often you find new cryptocurrencies there? As reddit isn't an epicenter for cryptos. In fact it's just everything in there in ungategorized order. And usually reddit page is not a first thing coins do. Lot's of the new projects won't even look at the redditFor new subreddits, you can look here: https://www.reddit.com/subreddits/new -cut- Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? Post by: ryzaadit on November 23, 2023, 11:07:47 PM Some projects started from (Reddit, Forum, Github).
It's not really can be predictable, but most the time these 3 before the hashrate quite high. Feel free to keep your eye on announcement forum or some sub-reddit who discuss about coins, etc. Right now most of the development is always based token. Not sure if there are other websites like that but if you are also looking for some other coins to mine but not during the early stage of it. We've got websites like whattomine[1] too. It is just for your reference and I know that many of the coins there are no longer in the early stage but it's just for your reference if ever you can't find the new ones.thanks in advance. Unless you have some insider information from the exchanges, you can't win that way. (mining unlisted coins) This is the actual dilemma of a lot of miners. How can you determine if they will even hit in exchanges? Because the truth is a lot of these mineable coins won't see the light of trading platforms. Only few of these would hit in the market and be profitable. Others, you will just be wasting your resources or your time. I have experienced that in a lot of coins way way back so I already stop mining and stop checking these mineable coins. But if you will explore top mineable coins, why not? If you have powerful GPUs and cheap electricity. Title: Re: How to find new mineable coins at very early stage? I am sure that there are way more active miners who are experts on this subject. I too used to look for new mineable coins in Altcoin announcement and jump in early. I made a good profit on coin biblepay which was introduced in the forum and was mineable. Now there are less and less of those new mineable coins as it's easier to generate tokens and list them on dex and the most coming out are not being able to get listed and the ones that are listed has plenty of coins to dump. I used to have a plethora of mining setup and clients for different algos to mine from my CPU and GPU but they have lost their charm now and I uninstalled them.
