Parents have many hopes, dreams and dreams for every child. Similarly, my parents have many dreams and hopes for me. From my childhood, my parents raised me with a lot of pain and care and even taught me education.
Their dream was that I would grow up to do good and achieve their fame.
I have been working in a private company for about seven years after completing my education and have been saving my salary from the company and investing in Bitcoin.
I made a post a few days ago saying that I paid for my entire wedding with my Bitcoin money.
Today is one of the best days of my life and I have completed the first step of my parents dream with my bitcoin money. Which I want to share with you today. As the saying goes "When God gives, His hands are full". Today I am very happy to do this post today

Helping family businesses with Bitcoin:

My father has a business which is weaving industry. This business is our ancestral business.
The main function of our business is to manufacture sarees which are human body wear.
Our main work in this business requires electric powered looms to make sarees. The price of an electric powered loom machine (about one lakh fifty thousand rupees, this is our own country's rupees). But if we take the price as bitcoin or take the price as dollars then it will cost around $1300 dollars.
I bought an electric powered loom machine for my father's business facility with my own invested Bitcoin money.

Fulfill my dreams with Bitcoin:

My childhood dream was to buy a motorcycle when I grow up. It is the dream of most boys these days to have their own bike.
I bought my dream motorcycle with my bitcoin money.
My bike model is Suzuki GSX-R Dual ABS. The price of which is about five thousand dollars in our country. As I don't have that much dollars, I bought a second hand motorcycle which costs around $2050

[I lost all the bitcoins I had invested, it's sad. But I am very happy and glad to be able to fulfill my father's business and my own dreams]

Finally, I would like to invest more in Bitcoin in the future, saying that the single best coin to invest in is Bitcoin. Many people's lives have already changed by investing in bitcoins, as mine has. I have already invested in almost all coins but the safest and most successful investment is my Bitcoin investment

First of all, congratulations on your achievements. Not everyone achieves their dreams as they have other things to consider or hard for them to decide whether they will prioritize their dreams or their family.

You have bought a machine to help your parent's business from your invested money, which can also be considered an investment or an asset that can give your family a source of income. You were able to buy your dream bike which cannot easily afford by anyone even after purchasing a machine that is expensive. You have nothing to be so sad about, your money served its purpose. You can always start again from your investment, at least you are able to use your previous investment in the correct way. 

Respect with attention for your parents, you sold all your bitcoin investment to buy your father an electric powered loom machine how to make his business more growing up in the future. I don't think its bad when your have sold all bitcoin funds exactly for helping your father weaving business because in the future will make him easily to manage will all costumer needed. I think your decision is right not only must help your father business but also you must enjoying with bitcoin investment buy motor bike, regarding with your needed is expensive or not but not problem have spent money to get your dreaming motor bike.

Possibility in the next time bitcoin going drop you can sell your motor bike or get borrowing in the Bank based on your motor bike certificate to invest in bitcoin. Nice decision have to allow by all bitcoin trader or investor have to sell their bitcoin fund for another important thing such as help their parents or buy want dreaming to have.

I already read you previous post and honestly I'm genuinely happy because someone fullfill their dreams by the help of bitcoin. Again, Congratulations on your wedding and now you're already fullfill one of your parents dream too. Not everyone here has the capability to do what you've accomplished because it's truly hard to decide what needs to be prioritized especially if your money is not enough to sustain and to cover all the things that you want to accomplish. Don't regret and be proud of yourself, the important thing is that it went to things that you know will also help you and your family.
    

I also support OP rewarding himself and enjoying life from his investments, but I think there will be many people who will jump in and criticize him because he is wasting bitcoins instead of continuing to hold them. This reminds me of the story where people say buying a new Iphone is a waste while we don't even know what source of money they are using to buy an Iphone or a car.

But I think he won't need to sell his motorbike to buy bitcoin during the next bear season. Did you forget that he still has a job and a stable income? For someone with a plan and stable income like OP, there is no reason to sell assets to buy bitcoin.

OP, when you still have a job to make money. then at any time, you can start your Bitcoin investment again. Now you may no longer have Bitcoin, but you have experience and confidence in Bitcoin that brings success to you and your family.

 I'm glad to hear that your efforts with bitcoin investment has finally paid off, and now you are taking a lot of benefits from your bitcoin profits. You must have been very happy that you finally achieved some of your dreams and your family's dream. So be grateful for those what you have, even if it means selling your bitcoin and losing your bitcoin investment. At least, you can buy back again when you have earned sufficient funds to invest in bitcoin.

For now, observe the market first and check if bitcoin's price has drop a little, because that would be a good opportunity to purchase again a portion of bitcoin and hold it for long term especially that the next bitcoin halving is imminent. Your future bitcoin profits will definitely grow in time, and if you hold like 5 years or more, you will reap massive profits by then most especially that bitcoin is set to reach a new all time high every year.

Investing in Bitcoin is very flexible. What's more, having the experience of making a profit and being able to improve the economy will certainly motivate you to invest in Bitcoin again. It is true that many lives have been changed thanks to Bitcoin. Your stories are great and inspiring and despite that you have sold all of your Bitcoins, you can still comeback and buy again as you start to accumulate again. This is the essence of having an investment, whenever you need to dispose it for some important matters, you can liquidate it and see the fruits of your labor. Someone's achievement and being shared here is encouraging us to do better in life and of course give back to our parents if ever we can. Yeah, well, I too join in not wanting to spoil OP's party but apart from that, in this type of thread I would also like to see something more than pure economic interest. The OP made an investment, which worked out well for him and he has benefited from it. In this case it has been with Bitcoin but it could have been with something else. What I hope is that now that you say you have run out of Bitcoin, you will start accumulating as soon as you can and to the extent of your possibilities, and if you were already interested in something else besides pure economic interest it would be appreciated.

It's nice to see that your dreams is already been achieve and by the helps of bitcoins you did it. All I can say is that congratulations mate for your achievements. And yes through bitcoins we can make more things happen if we are in investment.  Your story inspired me to still invest in Bitcoin and maybe in the future I can achieve my dreams too and no other than to get a motorcycle cause here in my country it's too expensive to buy even though it's second hand. Starting from the scratch a bad thing and it's the worst thing that can happened to man, have you ever before start up a business that maybes you do different kinds of business to save money and yet to start up the business and money refused to be completed and later you borrow money to establish the business and the business collapse and you start a new one, it's tough for a man to raise again after passing much stress of building a structure and the structure get collapsed,  only thing I have to tell op is to stand firm because I know quite well that business establishment is a something of plan.

If you had the chance to start over again, why would you call it the worst ? The worst thing is that when you fall, you can't get up and start again or don't have a chance to start again . Life is a journey and it is normal for us to stumble along the way and whether we get up and keep going is up to us to decide. People who can get up after falling are brave and brave .

Why can everything be lost? Is there a fatal mistake you made in safeguarding your bitcoin assets?

If I didn't know Bitcoin, maybe the story would be different, because I don't have a higher education, only secondary education. grateful that getting to know bitcoin can gradually help parents to be able to build a house to live in together even though it is not luxurious and they can buy land. Parents have many expectations and dreams from their heir's side, I cant say that I'm directly supporting my parents somehow, but I'm trying to be independent as far as I can. I'm currently managing my own expenses and I'm sure InshALlah soon I'll be able to bear the full-time expenses of my whole family as I know my responsibilities well.

My Bitcoin journey and crypto industry experience are really going to help me out in managing finance-related problems and with my experience it will be really helpful in my decision making. I'm very thankful to forum and crypto market for teaching me a lot of life lessons.

I have yet to fulfill what I desire for my parents, but I'm on the way to that currently. It has been a long roller coaster journey for me, so I guess some people may experience a rougher sailing than the others, but what is important is to keep that fire burning your desire to accomplish these things. I like how you provided them with the needs for their dream business which can also help them to have their source of money, and seems they are already experienced with weaving business for sure they would do well. This kind of thread shows how powerful and beneficial Bitcoin is to people as long as they invest with knowledge, cause despite the positive side of Bitcoin, there is also a risk of having a bad side which could also change someone's life. Don't be sad if you've sold your holdings of Bitcoin as you already bought a lot of things that you are trying to achieve, no need to be greedy, set a goal and once you achieved it, don't also forget to treat yourself just like how you bought yourself a motorcycle.

Bitcoin is an investment after all which means it’s destined to be liquidated to use your profit. You just do it now in exchange to your dream which is the most important part to the story that you share.

Liquidating your Bitcoin to fund a business is really a nice decision since you generate consistent profit that you can use to purchase Bitcoin while you help your family to maintain the family business. Don’t look on how you sold all your Bitcoins but rather focus on positive side which you achieve your goal.

Seven years is a long time to make sacrifices and avoid many pleasures just to ensure that you have savings in bitcoins. It is a success story that you have been able to achieve some major goals in your life both for yourself and your family. I hope you still have some bitcoins left, because next year will be bigger for bitcoins. For many people, they would say that you should have waited before buying your dream bike, but I have the opinion that if it something that you have planned for and have observed now to be a good time to get it, it is okay because when we wait for too long sometimes to buy some things we need or want, the prices usually do not wait for you, the prices may be increasing.

Why do you believe you lost your bitcoins? I do not think so. Is helping your father in the family business and pursuing your dreams a loss? If you would have lost your bitcoins because of a drop in the price of bitcoin, for example, or your bitcoins were stolen, that would be a loss.

Congratulations your dreams have now been fulfilled with your blessings investing with bitcoin, your dreams and your father's efforts have now been fulfilled means there is satisfaction for you because you have achieved it.

You don't need to be sad because you have fulfilled all your dreams by selling bitcoin, then you will never be late to buy bitcoin whenever you have you can buy it but what is different when you used to invest at a low price but now different prices are higher, but if you invest for the long term again such as 5 -10 years then the price is not a problem.

That is the essence of a forum like our. We learn and get motivated by the story of others. Thus further emphasize the fact that Bitcoin offers limitless opportunities.  We just have to be focuses and intentional about it. I have actually seen a lot of great testimonies from people including those who got married with the proceeds from their Bitcoin investment to some that open businesses.

If you have a future plan, I stead of saving money in the bank where inflation will make the value reduce,  you can invest the money in Bitcoin especially now that price is still very low compared to where many are expecting it to be after the halving. Bitcoin will not be affected by inflation and the value will most likely rise from next year onward.

Of course, if you are determined to invest again, then you will definitely find a way to make it happen even if it means buying a little portion of bitcoin from your small amount of hard-earned money. Especially that everyone is preparing for the upcoming bitcoin halving, then the more that you have to start buying again, but of course it only depends if you are now capable to invest or not. If not, then don't push yourself too much as it won't be good for you either.

Just continue to observe the market and keep learning. One day, when you have sufficient amount of funds, then invest when the market is giving you opportunity to invest and stick to bitcoin because that's the only secured and highly profitable asset in the crypto market.

You shouldn’t feel bothered or sad that you’ve used your total money invested in bitcoin to satisfy your needs and also to help your father’s business, you are the real boss here and much respect for what you’ve done. There is always a time to start over and invest again . Since you can now see the benefits of having an investment in bitcoin, it shouldn’t make you feel weak not to invest sometime later in the future. It is also good you know that all other coins you have invested in are not safe and anything can happen to them in the future, you’ve already taken the risk, so whatsoever is the outcome of those investments, you should be able to control your emotions and how you’ll react to them.

OP, you know that Bitcoin still has a high price to be archived. If you sold now to archive all the dreams you have talked about, it means you sold your Bitcoin holding at a cheap price because even the last ATH of Bitcoin was about $70k, and I hope you will not regret selling your holding if perhaps you see Bitcoin trading around $300k in the future. Since you were still working with your company, you should have just saved up the money and used it to archive whatever you wanted to while you'd still be holding your bitcoin. I am not saying that what you did was wrong, though; perhaps everyone has a dream of what they choose to do with their investment. Supposing you hold that Bitcoin for 20 years, you never know how much profit you would have made of it, but you have spent it when the price is still low.

i won't say that his decision is wrong because he already bought what he wanted to buy for his family and for himself. that alone is already priceless. btc may rise up in the coming years but think of the profits that their family will get from the machine that he bought for their business. we should not look at one side here. because the benefits that one can get from selling his bitcoin will be compensated on what he is buying. so long he is allocating it to important things and not just spending it to random things.

On the bad side, you sold your investment right before the halving and less than 2 months before an ETF approval. Was buying all these things so important that it couldn't wait another 6 months?
I wouldn't sell my bitcoin now that so much is going on in the space.

cryptoWODL - you registered in October 2023, so I hope you really realize that bitcoin's performance since you've been here has been really good. In 2023 - bitcoin has proven itself to be a good performing investment asset. Its price increase has touched 128.8% in the last year - that means the price has risen more than 2x from last year's low.

I know you're focused on bitcoin - but I don't blame you if you want to diversify your assets into altcoins. Just like you - I believe in bitcoin and bitcoin is the asset that dominates my investment so far, but the best altcoin is always in my sights and it will be in my portfolio.

Again congratulations to you may you achieve more of your dreams. I am very glad that you helped your father by buying him an electric-powdered machine which will help him and grow his business also you got your dream bike which is still the desire of many younger people but you achieved it through your work on Bitcoin but I am a little bit sad that you spend all your Bitcoin investments. It would be better if you could save Bitcoin investments for the future to invest it in Bitcoin again and if you have already the investment then this fund will increase your investment and indirectly give you more profits. This is a true motivation for me and for all the beginners who are still curious about trust. This person shared his successful story two times once at his marriage ceremony which he did with his own Bitcoin profits and now he is helping his father and and full his dream.

I think the same, losing our bitcoins at least to me means that somehow we got hacked or scammed along our journey and we got nothing in return for them, however exchanging your bitcoin for the opportunity to help your family and make your dreams come true can be hardly be called losing your coins, and if anything this is the best possible use a person can give to them since we are not really supposed to hold our coins forever.

You didn't lose all your Bitcoins but you have spent and sold them so, that means that you have put them to great use. Don't think that because you've sold them all means that you lost them, no. Your parents must be proud of you and look at their kid doing well now in life just because of this thing called Bitcoin.

It must be like a fairy-tale story that no one had ever imagined that from this cryptocurrency, you and your parents have achieved things because of it. You're right. You don't actually lose if you have benefit a lot from selling your bitcoin. You have achieved your family's dream and you have your own dream turns into reality, now that's a big success for you, not a damn loss. Selling early while you're still in profits is already a sign of a win or success, but selling early when the price is lower than the first time you bought it, that's obviously a loss for you.

My only advice for you is that you can invest again before bull run starts to happen. That's a big opportunity for you to benefit a lot in bitcoin again, so make sure you won't miss investing the market again.

I was all in on your writings when I started reading and for the most of it, it all seemed to align for a purpose, not until I got to the bottom and everything just went to shit.

I must say, it wasn't an ending I expected or would have wished it to be, having to discover just how much you could gain from holding Bitcoins over the years and eventually, you get to liquidate all your holdings! It gives me the impression that Bitcoin is just way too passive for you.

You call that a loss? That's not the right word for it, you didn't lose anything, you had the investment that you divested for a purpose, it's all good and I am happy for you as it seems it makes you happy.

But if I were you, I would have done things differently. Do you know why? This is not the time that an investment-inclined person would be spending their Bitcoin, this is the time to gather more Bitcoins if possible. If you had tarried on this for over a year more and even made more investments in Bitcoin, you might be multiple richer than you were and would still be able to fulfil your dreams and also have enough left over for other things.

I have read your post in our local thread, too. First of all, congratulations! I am glad that you were able to help your family and fulfill your dream, too. I understand the feeling because it is my first Motorcycle purchase from selling crypto assets! But then I started to regret it because the coin I was holding started to boom after too many months. I don't want to tell you the amount, but that was almost $1.5 Million when it touched the ATH. I hope you won't regret it.

Did you lose or did you spend your Bitcoin? They are two different things. Don't feel sorry for spending Bitcoin, because you spent it on important things in your life. You can earn money, save up and buy Bitcoin again. You realized your dreams and Bitcoin helped you do that. That's why we invest in the first place. That's a beautiful thing and you shouldn't regret.

I hope that nobody will criticize or at least bash him because he used his Bitcoins to buy something for himself - kind of like a reward for him.
I also want to hold Bitcoin as well like many others here, but there really are times when we still need to use our Bitcoins to buy something that we need or something that we want.

Whatever people will say, there will still be some who will treat Bitcoin as a currency that they will be using to buy some items. I don't want to say that treating Bitcoin as an asset is bad though, but we can look at Bitcoin both or either one of the 2. I've been in a signature campaign that's paying me Bitcoin for years already, and if I am not converting them, I might have nearly 1 BTC already, but of course, there are some instances where I really need to convert my Bitcoins for our everyday needs.

As for the OP, just continue what you're doing as long as there's nothing wrong with it. It's good that another investor bought something with the help of Bitcoin, and I expect many of these in the future. :)

When I sold my invested bitcoins I felt bad for a while but when I saw my hobby motorcycle and the smile on my father's face after helping the family business, my heart was filled with joy.

I understand that each individual has their own life and ideals, and with bitcoin, I am also deeply grateful for all the things I know about it. I think that if we look back at the journey that the OP mentioned, it gives us more motivation to develop ourselves and our families. Bitcoin really brings many different opportunities, not just profitable investments. First of all let me congratulate you that you have achieved your dream by investing in Bitcoin. There is nothing to regret you didn't lose bitcoin but you became very successful in investing from bitcoin and made your family and your dreams successful. You start again hopefully you will be more successful.

I think you have fairly good amount of time to buy back again before it reaches new ATH. If I were you I would try to buy as much as Bitcoin next two years, whether weekly or monthly depending on your income flow. You know new ATH is expected in 2025, so you can still get back some of your coins in the mean time. Since you fulfill your dreams you should be more relaxed and set some new targets. :)

@Op Thank you for your good deeds. It's a good sign because you've earned bitcoins and helped your real-life family business with bitcoins. And you will earn from merchant and buy bitcoin again so cyclically your business will be ok and bitcoin transaction or bitcoin hold will all exist. You continue and grow more businesses in the future and start accumulating bitcoins. Because hoarding bitcoins will save you from the economic storm later and bitcoins will help you. It's a big one and I believe not everyone gets to achieve their dream especially with investment with Bitcoin because many tend to scatter or use their coins for other things but this your case shouldn't sound like a regret, although your coins have been all used but you have a fair chance of accumulating back since the bull season is yet to come.

At first, congratulations and then I would have to tell you that you did not lost your Bitcoins rather you spent it all.
The intentional inventions of Bitcoin of gaining an income and aim of investing is for resolutions of solving financial problems which you have just take the advantage.
So... There is absolutely no point to regret on of what consumed your Bitcoin as long the money was spent not only responsibly but also productively on the context that you bought your dad such an industrial machine as for the bike, it is a good thing to own a private mobility but if your state of finance is not capable enough to maintain it then there is no good point buying it.
I don't know the reason why you bought the bike with your last Bitcoin that is supposed to keep generating income for  you just as you have accumulated til it was appreciated where you could sell it out and solve some part of your financial issues.
So I will say if you bought the bike with a productive reason then it is cool but if it was all just to fulfill your dream to having one there it goes a bad one  because it would be a liability to you .
