I want to buy some, I Seems to be almost sold out. Already sold for $4,626,720.67 ($5,059,485 is the maxnum amount).
Let's talk about this.

There are already a few bitcoin etfs out.

If you are in Canada there is a spot Bitcoin etf since 2021.

In Europe there was a bitcoin etf for a few years already.

In USA you can buy the bitcoin future etf called Bito which was also out since 2021. And prior to that we had the bitcoin futures which is a little harder for the retail market to access.

I'm still confused as to how they work, are they like stocks or bonds? And where can I buy one of them if it's available in my country because I think like it's not going to be available and it's difficult to purchase due to being expensive or something. I still don't understand how they can be able to influence the market prices with regards to the upcoming decision on the approval of ETF, I still have no idea how and I still think the halving will probably have more impact than this maybe even the idea that Lamborghini is planning to accept bitcoin for payments for their luxurious cars.

Do not buy Bitcoin ETF. Buying it is like wanting to own a bicycle and instead of the actual bicycle, you are given a picture of bicycle instead.

I don't know who you are but by being here on this forum, it shows you have the capability to learn about Bitcoin. How to buy real Bitcoin, secure it, and be successful with it.

Buy the real deal and not a picture of it instead.

That depends on what you're looking for.

If you want to own securities related to Bitcoin and you can't hold it by yourself, you can try to buy it.

But, some people choose to buy Bitcoin directly through exchange because they don't trust centralization and try to learn "be your own bank".

Yeah pretty much like stocks or bonds, it needs a securities firm in your country or broker to help you to buy it.

Like the suggestion of everyone instead of buying a Bitcoin ETF, why not just consider of buying an actual Bitcoin that you can hold out of these exchanges?

There's not that much difference on it. It's like that you're buying but not from the crypto exchanges but from the traditional exchanges.

He is not talking about spot bitcoin ETF, he is talking about an altcoin which is only in presale stage as of now. The name is called BTCETF or bitcoin ETF token which would be an ERC20 token.

Just know that this is an altcoin, and not bitcoin ETF. You can gamble with it with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

In that case, the thread should be moved to the altcoin section where it will be a better fit.

This kind of token makes cryptocurrency discussion takes more time. Some time ago i've seen people mistook Satoshi/sat unit as one of BRC-20 token. And using ERC-20 (which is part of ETH) rather than Bitcoin sidechain is an irony.

If so, it is a scam, do not buy anything other than Bitcoin.

All of these services take advantage of hot words to promote themselves. Search for any hot topic and you will find that there is a token in its name, and since the Squid game scam, it has become necessary to be careful about any alt bearing the name Bitcoin.
Binance and some CEXs are responsible for this by creating wrapped tokens for Bitcoin on different blockchains and claiming them to be Bitcoin.

I do not know what you mean by he sold, but I think you are also talking about what I said already and you are correct if that is it. I do not want to copy and paste the website link on this thread but this image can make other people to understand it better as it is on their website

It is the hottest presale now and this might be another pump and dump.

I'd say that it's better to buy BTC itself. But it feels kinda strange to see someone asking stuff like this when they have $4,626,720.67.

Look at the ETF's nature: it provides Bitcoin access without the actual of owning Bitcoins. ETFs are easy, but they dont offer the same control or potential benefits as owning Bitcoin directly. You invest in an ETF that tracks the price, not the asset.

Second, market conditions always matter. ETF near-sold-out position shows tremendous demand, but market timing is uncertain. Is now the best time to enter, or should you wait? Considering these factors is crucial.

If you love Bitcoin, why not buy it directly? This  helps the Bitcoin ecosystem and promotes bitcoin ownership. Direct investing provides a closer relationship with the asset, worth considering.

Have you been reading what people are posting on this thread? You can clearly understand that the OP is talking about a presale coin and not his own money. But it is true that it is better to buy bitcoin instead. But bitcoin ETF token is not related to bitcoin at all.

OP is talking about a token, not bitcoin ETF.

Because United States has not approved bitcoin spot ETF, that does not mean other countries like Canada and some European countries has not approved it. There are countries that have bitcoin spot ETF.

What you are referring to are only bitcoin future ETF.

You are right, it is better to buy bitcoin directly. With that you will have complete control on your coins.

A type that is considered a high-risk investment. You should be comfortable with potential losses when investing in this token. I would prefer investing in Bitcoin with a Dollar-Cost Averaging strategy rather than buying a new and quickly rising token just for a quick win. I think it's just using the Bitcoin ETF buzz. Let me ask you, OP, why are you specifically interested in Bitcoin ETFs? What research have you conducted on the ETF itself and the underlying asset?

the other downside is
if you bought 1btc direct.. its still 1btc in 30 years

however an ETF comes with annual fee's where by buying 1btc worth of shares. becomes 0.54btc worth of shares in 30 years (assuming their 2% annual fee)

Even though many users discuss different thing than what was @OP meant, but they're not wrong because it's confusing lol.

This is a scam token (https://bitcoinetftoken.io/), while the other Bitcoin ETF is regulated, although if you buy it, you're just own the IOU, not the actual coin. When a project is using a popular/hype name, it just to mislead Average Joe.

Why are you looking forward to future complications I don't understand what the buzz for to buy the Bitcoin ETF is all about and I actually don't associate myself with the drama.
The more complicated the crypto-currency space is the more breeding ground for scammers. If you are interested in Bitcoin you can always get a wallet get some Bitcoin and save them in your wallet it's that simple.

Ok. In theory, bitcoin etf can be purchased (in some jurisdictions). The question is different. Why do this? Just so that your possession of bitcoin etf is within the legal framework? People must understand that bitcoin etf is not bitcoin, but its surrogate without the advantages of bitcoin, but with disadvantages of centralization.

He is referring to a token called BTCETF. He is not referring to Bitcoin ETF. So there is still nothing like annual fee, but it is just a token. Some people that will buy this token may be confused that it is the bitcoin ETF but it is not. It is an ERC20 token and definitely an altcoin.

I would say it's completely upto you if you are willing to take risk then you can go for it but not beyond what you can afford to lose. People are often confusing it with the Bitcoin Spot ETF and I would not be going ahead with this altcoin as the name it the Altcoin itself suggests that the project might have been planned in hurry once this Bitcoin Spot ETF gained mainstream coverage. Any project which is based on some events rather than proper research and ideology cannot sustain longer

Satoshi nakamoto didn't create bitcoin to buy btc through ETF it has no sense. If you want to preserve your wealth for a long run then buy bitcoin and hold it in your own hard wallet.

Its obvious that OP is talking about altcoin, and if he is actually aware that the altcoin name BTC etf, which he talks about, is not the real Bitcoin (BTC), then it will be more proper to report this thread so that it gets moved to the altcoin discussion board.

But, how do you know that this BTC ETF can complicate things in the future? Don't tell me that you travel in time? There are just people who see a potential in this BTC ETF. That is why they are planning to invest on it. This must be the buzz all about right now, but don't FOMO as well and join them, if you think you can't benefit with it because your suspicions can also be right. It's not that crypto is too complicated or what, but maybe it's only in you.

People can always study it in order for them to understand it. That way it will now be hard for the scammers to victimized them. BTC is a good crypto but unfortunately this isn't the one that the OP is interested with. We don't know though, if he is already into it or not.

A new bitcoin ETF is about to get launched already, some are planning to make their investment towards the presale while some are waiting for it to come out to launch, if you're interested in that, take it as your own risk over it, this is altcoins we are talking about and you should know what's involved in making decision for investment on alternate currencies, but if you can't risk it then don't try it, we are a product of what we did yesterday and behold it consequences today, you could make the future decision as well starting from today from what you chose to invest.

I won't advice anyone to spend money on Bitcoin ETF, why not buy the real Bitcoin instead? This is what I keep telling some people that are out of the country living in the U.S now, it seems people are just looking for an excuse to be able to trust Bitcoin, those who are after the ETF instead want to be under the government permission to invest.

I will never have any interest in any bitcoin ETF, I want the real thing and I plan to retire with few good numbers of Bitcoin, I am not going to do that with ETFs rather.
