Post by: TheWhale on March 29, 2014, 09:29:07 AM Do you think Bitcoin (myspace) will start being dominated by Ripple (facebook) over the next couple of years? Bitcoin might have been the first crypto successfully released (but certainly not the first devised), but Ripple trumps it in almost every department (transaction speed, protocol, contracts, the ability to trade ANYTHING etc etc etc).
Please don't even mention litecoin, shitcoin, primecoin, potcoin or any of those other pathetic clones (which all stem from Bitcoin). Nothing matches the sheer amount of funding and team size that Ripple currently has working on it. Don't believe me? RippleLabs.com What's your end game when things play out? Have you used Ripple? Personally I found the IOU thing a royal pain in the ass. I don't understand it exactly, most don't but you don't really own anything but you trust others for stuff.
