Title: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on December 22, 2023, 02:10:53 PM Hello everyone,
since one or the other here has also ordered / bought a small lottery miner again, I would like to include an overview of our bestshares and perhaps even a block find, as in the past. Anyone who wants to can post their mining address here, then we can keep track of what the small miners are achieving. You are also welcome to post a photo of the miners and your setup. I'm excited to see who will take part. Feel free to join us with other "small" miners to make our Miner Race a little more exciting. I am also looking forward to the active exchange around the small lotto miners... https://i.ibb.co/hgv5MSy/willipool.png As a solo pool, I recommend the ckpool from -ck - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237323.0 - http://solo.ckpool.org Supply source - https://www.rgzen.com --> 5% Rabatt mit dem Code "SOLO_FIVE" - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464963.0 Current diff can be checked here - https://diff.cryptothis.com/ Firmware Update and more information - https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/releases (status today 19.01.2024 the version v2.0.6) - https://bitaxe.org/ In case of a block found After a small survey, we have decided on the following distribution of rewards in the case of a block found. - The user who found the block gets 10% extra - The remaining 90% will be divided by the number of miners (devices / lines) from our table Basic requirement for payment: - the miner has been always active for the last 7 days (you can see this in the CKpool statistics 5min and 7day) - Miner must contain the forum member name - Minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days - If a miner finds a block but not over 200 GHs in 7 days, he still gets the 10% bonus Pool address and statistics - https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview) - https://solorun.lima.zone/?worker=willi (filter directly for your worker / diagrams are then empty) - https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c - configure your miner to our pool btc address --> bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c - add your forum username and maybe miner number as in the example - Miner Self service: https://solorun.lima.zone/writenewminer.php (link can also be found on the status page) - Here someone can add a new miner themselves and set the correct device using the dropdown menu (deleting old miners, renaming them or adding a different / new miner type is not possible for security reasons) Example: User "Willi9974" with 2 miners configure the first miner with: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.willi9974_1 configure the second miner with: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.willi9974_2 Stratum Pool Server: solo.ckpool.org:3333 or eusolo.ckpool.org:3333 Syntax: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.[forum user]_[miner number in case of more than one] Our member statistics: click on the live view php page https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview) Table is too long for that forum topic. Template for participation and update postings: Code: Username: [it is your forum nick name and if you have more miner please add username_number like willi9974_1 willi9974_2 etc.] When participating, simply copy the template and replace the text with your values and if someone has several lottery miners, add a "_1" etc. after the BTC address.username (also in your miner config, so that it is also displayed in the SoloPool). Than point your miner to the address and configure your username (see at the example). And here are a few pictures of the racers: If you will join, we are happy to see more pictures... https://i.ibb.co/fSndxmZ/image.png (https://ibb.co/fSndxmZ) https://i.ibb.co/Syc7G1W/image.png (https://ibb.co/Syc7G1W) https://i.ibb.co/x2KXVYv/IMG-20231223-193115.jpg (https://ibb.co/x2KXVYv) https://i.ibb.co/GJn2xXB/PXL-20231223-134940674.jpg (https://ibb.co/GJn2xXB) https://i.ibb.co/4WBtGVm/image.png (https://ibb.co/4WBtGVm) https://i.ibb.co/wwTZ6GK/image.png (https://ibb.co/wwTZ6GK) https://i.ibb.co/42K3RZC/image.png (https://ibb.co/42K3RZC) https://i.ibb.co/s6CHp1D/IMG-0234.jpg (https://ibb.co/s6CHp1D) https://i.ibb.co/0XwWZ7w/image.png (https://ibb.co/0XwWZ7w) https://i.ibb.co/gMNW9nH/image.png (https://ibb.co/gMNW9nH) https://i.ibb.co/cxTthTw/image.png (https://ibb.co/cxTthTw) https://i.ibb.co/x7JFkv5/image.png (https://ibb.co/x7JFkv5) https://i.ibb.co/m8LVQFp/IMG-0235.jpg (https://ibb.co/m8LVQFp) https://i.ibb.co/Zc00cQB/IMG-0237.jpg (https://ibb.co/Zc00cQB) https://i.ibb.co/3m0K25G/IMG-0242.jpg (https://ibb.co/3m0K25G) https://i.ibb.co/M5HS0YL/image.png (https://ibb.co/M5HS0YL) https://i.ibb.co/jD1WGDq/image.png (https://ibb.co/jD1WGDq) https://i.ibb.co/TP745j8/image.png (https://ibb.co/TP745j8) https://i.ibb.co/Fm4ng7J/image.png (https://ibb.co/Fm4ng7J) https://i.ibb.co/Xy4fXCP/image.png (https://ibb.co/Xy4fXCP) https://i.ibb.co/vYbqGKZ/image.png (https://ibb.co/vYbqGKZ) https://i.ibb.co/svFGRr9/image.png (https://ibb.co/svFGRr9) https://i.ibb.co/h7K1sJq/image.png (https://ibb.co/h7K1sJq) https://i.ibb.co/RP2XMrs/IMG-0267.png (https://ibb.co/RP2XMrs) https://i.ibb.co/TtzfF6G/image.png (https://ibb.co/TtzfF6G) https://i.ibb.co/C7yXx4s/image.png (https://ibb.co/C7yXx4s) https://i.ibb.co/j6d6rsy/image.png (https://ibb.co/j6d6rsy) https://i.ibb.co/0C5wdZs/image.png (https://ibb.co/0C5wdZs) https://i.ibb.co/PrB0X8Y/image.png (https://ibb.co/PrB0X8Y) https://i.ibb.co/wLYv0Nq/IMG-0311.jpg (https://ibb.co/wLYv0Nq) https://i.ibb.co/6WLCcdS/IMG-0313.png (https://ibb.co/6WLCcdS) https://i.ibb.co/S38t6Zd/IMG-0318.png (https://ibb.co/S38t6Zd) https://i.ibb.co/0qc4jKh/image.png (https://ibb.co/0qc4jKh) https://i.ibb.co/D59tLdd/image.png (https://ibb.co/D59tLdd) https://i.ibb.co/TMVnJCdk/image.png (https://ibb.co/TMVnJCdk) https://i.ibb.co/vvqjmq3b/image.png (https://ibb.co/vvqjmq3b) https://i.ibb.co/jvGMsQDk/image.png (https://ibb.co/jvGMsQDk) https://i.ibb.co/wrWzMV4P/image.png (https://ibb.co/wrWzMV4P) German / Englisch mixed mode topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5477020.0 English topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5478927.0 Best regards, Willi Beer - Donation ================= If you think the solo mining project and the status page is good, then I would be happy about a small beer donation in crypto, for all my effort here. you posted "- The user who found the block gets 10% extra - The remaining 90% will be divided by the number of miners (devices / lines) from our table" >just to be clear 10% of the block reward .... not just 10% of the standard per line award correct? so if the block reward is the normal 6.25 BTC the Extra is .625 BTC and the remaining block reward is than divided equally between all miners , for each miner listed and qualified... i.e. if 25 miner qualified the remaining 5.625BTC would be split 25 ways for .225 BTC each... am I correct? ... hopefully right forum Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on January 05, 2024, 07:51:31 PM here a excample
https://i.ibb.co/CB0nfJR/image.png (https://ibb.co/CB0nfJR) we have 29 miner devices and some are new or have technical problems or to short with us, ... 7 of the 29 miner are not in the 7 day hashrate over 200g, so we have 22 miner for payout if we have a block. so please keep your miner allways running and do not switch very often to other pools, we would have a constant hashing power if you have more small miner it is better for you, for the reward, to configure each miner separately with a running number on the end. if the block have in total 8,5 BTC (6,25 reward plus the rest of tx fees) 10% (0,85 BTC) goes to the block finder as a bonus rest of 7,65 divided by 22 shares gives 0,347727273 BTC per device if you have only one miner in the list you will get 1/22 ~ 0,347727273 BTC if you have only two miner in the list you will get 2/22 ~ 0,695454545 BTC ... Hope now it is more transparent and i have no error in my calculation Best regards, Willi Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: Gholly on January 05, 2024, 10:38:47 PM Willi,
Thank you for the very clear response...If I took my miner down to clean the fans or the power went out for a few hours, ... I am OK as long as my 7D hashrate didn't fall below 200gh/s right? or is it the 24h rate? 5 Minute? Can you use a password like d=5000000 to get higher difficulty if you were going to rent more hashpower? I tried searching on solockpool and I can't find any numbers, except 3333 is minimum 10,000.

I tried searching on solockpool and I can't find any numbers, except 3333 is minimum 10,000. i don't know the numbers, but for a low speed miner please use the port 3333 and if that not works (mostly with big nicehash rentals) than use the other port.https://solo.ckpool.org/ Configuration: Just point your miner to: solo.ckpool.org:3333 Miners that require a high diff, such as mining rentals, there is a special high diff port for them: solo.ckpool.org:4334 ####################### New Bitaxe Firmware 2.05 What's Changed update readme to bitaxetool by @WantClue in #60 Network resets2 by @skot in #74 Fixed display when share found Removed password from REST Get Added links to latest firmware Fix suggest_difficulty Lowered voltage danger warning threshold Added script to merge config into factory file Quelle: https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/releases Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: kkmonte on January 09, 2024, 03:56:19 PM yea that's what I do, but i've been renting some miners from mrr (i like it better then nicehash) and some of the very large ones say they require 5M difficulty or they will not work. I've rented small ones and medium ones on mrr and used both but sometimes the numbers kind of fall right in between the difficulties.

I have a bunch of old S9's laying around, some work, some are in pieces with broken parts, etc. I'm working on making some custom miners. I have a bitaxe on the way (backordered, ordered it like 3-4 weeks ago), I like how that is 400G+ for only 20ish watts. I'm testing out the efficiency I can get with 1, 2, and 3 hashboards and varying amounts of power to each one (i'm using braiin os). Do you guys think I should just try to make one that uses the least amount of power but isn't the most efficient, or uses a little bit more power and work on getting the most th's/watt? Best regards from the cold germany Willi Hi Willi, you can update kkmonte_4, kkmonte_5, and kkmonte_6 to be S9 miners. They are running one hashboard so output 1.11 th/s. I did a bunch of power tests, playing with voltage and mhz of the board to determine the most efficient and cheapest miner for solo mining using my old s9's that I had. The past 4 winters, I used them to help heat my house, I had them set up around my basement (which is insulated and sealed well) and they made the basement 70 deg F in the winter, which then, the heat made its way up into the main floor. I ended up saving about 400 gallons of heating oil, which is about $1200-$1300 USD in oil, a small savings with using electric for miners but I was earning btc. As you said, for this solo pool miner, it's best to use least amount of electricity, and sacrifice some hashrate since our odds are basically the same whether my miner is running at 1100 gh/s or 3300 gh/s, odds are more or less the same. The S9's were old and the previous person who owned them ran them hot and didn't clean them, they were so dirty when i got them, I had to task them all apart, and the control boards won't work with more than 1 hashboard connected so as you see on the left i had to use 3 control boards to control each hashboard. But having them in one enclosure saves me on the number of fans being run (control board 2 and 3 are set up in immersion mode) and I just let one control board run the fan at 8% speed (that is enough). I also am using two modular 1000w power supplies that I had, that are completely silent. Both of these miners don't make hardly any sound, but produce a little bit of heat. They are only pulling about 680 watts at the wall.

I should provide between 925 and 960 GH/s. I will have a question, as I participate if there is a gain (I would see it on the PI zero Wh which manages the mining software has an oled) how I would be paid, because the mining address is that of our team (I have a personal BTC address). for the compacf gekko science the frequency for me is 480 MH/z (originally 460 on the cgminer 4.12.1 software) your gekko-compacf-freq 380. my setting is 480 already increased to 500. depending on the key model it is necessary to mount in steps of 5 MH/z until it becomes unstable or the frequency is placed on a frequency below what was set. https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/02/02/klp7D.jpeg https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/02/02/kllMw.jpeg my parameter on picture. on the other hand, the higher the frequency, the more ventilation is required (it heats up enormously at more than 500 MH/z) the higher the frequency, the more Current is required on the USB part (example for 460 1.6 to 1.8 A on 5.2 V // for 480 2 to 2.2 A on 5.2 V // for the max (350 gh/s you need 5 A per USB port) be careful not all usb hubs provide this Amperage (my usb hub blocks at 2.4 A under 5.2 V) my usb hub is powered by 12 V for 10 A (120 W) Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on February 08, 2024, 07:04:00 PM Our member statistics: or click on the live view php page https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview) Maybe it is good idea not to show 7d>200G rows in red font when even they are inactive as they are eligible. It would be easier to track reward eligibility.Edit: Or maybe you could create another column that shows eligibility, it would provide better clarity. on the status page you can see all, but only in german, sorry. But with the browser todays time you can translate with one or two clicks. https://solorun.lima.zone/ German: Anzahl der Worker für Payout mit Hashrate >= 200G in beiden Werten (5m und 7d) Englisch: Number of workers for payout with hashrate >= 200G in both values (5m and 7d) this is to prevent script children who temporarily redirect their miner to the pool via script in order to keep the hashrate artificially high with little effort. if your miner is always online and has a technical problem for an hour during the blockfund, i will take this into account and you will be included in the payout. if i see that your miner is regularly offline, you are out. Basic requirement for payment: - the miner has been always active for the last 7 days (you can see this in the CKpool statistics) - Miner must contain the forum member name - Minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days - If a miner finds a block but not over 200 GHs in 7 days, he still gets the 10% bonus ########################### have update the table with the actual data.

Hi all. Emergency maintenance will be performed by the hosting provider from April 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 UTC for 24 hours. Whilst no interruption to the server is anticipated, it would be prudent to avoid performing any extra hashrate during this time in case of connectivity issues. Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: Reen1026 on April 01, 2024, 01:20:31 AM Hello everyone, since one or the other here has also ordered / bought a small lottery miner again, I would like to include an overview of our bestshares and perhaps even a block find, as in the past. - The user who found the block gets 10% extra - The remaining 90% will be divided by the number of miners (devices / lines) from our table Basic requirement for payment: - the miner has been always active for the last 7 days (you can see this in the CKpool statistics) - Miner must contain the forum member name - Minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days - If a miner finds a block but not over 200 GHs in 7 days, he still gets the 10% bonus Pool address and statistics - https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview) - https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c - configure your miner to our pool btc address --> bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c - add your forum username and maybe miner number as in the example Example: User "Willi9974" with 2 miners configure the first miner with: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.willi9974_1 configure the second miner with: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.willi9974_2 Stratum Pool Server: solo.ckpool.org:3333 Syntax: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.[forum user]_[miner number in case of more than one] Our member statistics: or click on the live view php page https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview)
Table from 28.03.2024 Template for participation and update postings: Code: Username: [it is your forum nick name and if you have more miner please add username_number like willi9974_1 willi9974_2 etc.] When participating, simply copy the template and replace the text with your values and if someone has several lottery miners, add a "_1" etc. after the BTC address.username (also in your miner config, so that it is also displayed in the SoloPool). Than point your miner to the address and configure your username (see at the example). There is no user as "krogot". And a null username is mining, which is probably you. You need to put shared-pool's address which is bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c. So your username should be bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.krogot in that case. The miner type reported to me is now displayed here. I could no longer maintain the table in the forum because there were too many characters in the text (posting length). Now I load the csv file with Workername and DeviceType on the webserver and have adapted the PHP script by another column, which makes and fills the match Workername <--> DeviceType.
I like it... Best regards and happy Mining, Willi The Mars Lander is from Bitcoin Merch that runs Raspberry Pi with BM1397 / Compac F with CGminer. Basically, a small miner (250GH/s) with a controller and expandable USB ports which I have the R909 plugged into. In other words, it's an over-priced and under-engineered toy. The overall total hashrate could potentially be astounding with fewer splits meaning higher profits for those involved. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem pointing my bigger workers at something better than earning a few satoshis or just solo mining alone. Call it the Big Pool, Muscle Pool, or something catchy just for fun. Just a thought (after a couple of beers). Cheers! we burned a lot of bitcoins you can take a look in the german mining area for "mega halving..." or "mega run...". we spend a lot but no luck to catch a block. Best regards, Willi [/quote] @Willi9974 No, no . . . not referring to the Block Party pool. I was speaking of the lottery solo pool miner race where we keep a minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days. Not speaking of renting hashrate. I believe I did post under the correct topic section here when I spoke of this . . . I hope. If I'm wrong, I beg forgiveness. Anyway, here is what I said:. . . "Has a next or higher level lottery pool ever been discussed whereas the minimum 7-day hashrate would be something higher such as 10TH/s to 20TH/s? The overall total hashrate could potentially be astounding with fewer splits meaning higher profits for those involved. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem pointing my bigger workers at something better than earning a few satoshis or just solo mining alone. Call it the Big Pool, Muscle Pool, or something catchy just for fun. Just a thought (after a couple of beers)." So, what I was wondering was if a "new additional" second pool with higher minimums had ever been considered. In other words, for example, if a second pool ran a minimum of say 20TH/s and there were say for example 50 miners onboard we'd be pushing 1000TH/s. Of course, it could be a minimum of say 10TH/s, 15TH/s, 20TH/s, or even 25TH/s and that would of course determine the average number of miners onboard which in turn would determine the overall split - which I would think would be much lower than say 144+/- miners requiring only a 200 GHs minimum. This was what my original question was referring to. I suspect there's more than a few of us with "middle-ground" miners only earning a few satoshis a day on big pools or just solo mining alone. This could be a step up in fun. Anyway, sorry for the confusion. And by the way, I still think you're the one with the administrative prowess to do it. :) Cheers! No we never talked about with higher min. limits but we talked about delivered shares. So yes that is also possible if some would. Easy to make with ckpool and a copy of the statistic page. If some have interest, i could open a second topic for that. If some have interest, i could open a second topic for that. Best regards, Willi Hey Wiili- Well, either idea might be worth a topic for discussion (shares or minimums) if you're up for it. I'm interested either way. It could be fun to have multiple risk options for any of the individual miners. Heck, we've all spent money on various equipment over the years just to watch it get outdated and find ourselves wondering "where's the next best option" for our older equipment. Then, when it comes to pointing our older machines to the best profitability or the next "actual" block there really isn't much to choose from. And unfortunately, I suspect some or much of that older stuff usually ends up not being used or just sitting in a box unless there's an opprotunity to put it to work on a "TEAM" pool like we have here currently. I'll admit to being guilty of parking old/slower miners just to open up some wattage for the new and improved equipment. Done it myself. I'm just thinking there's enough of us that have a few pieces of "middle-grade" equipment that they wouldn't mind putting some of that to work on something potentially more profitable. Thoughts? Cheers! UPDATE 09/22/24 Hey Wiili- I just sold two older high-wattage miners I picked up back in 2018 to my brother-in-law (very low price). I had these two particular units (MicroBT Whatsminer M3) in mind when proposing the idea above for discussion. However, I have some newer Futurebit Apollo II's that I'd love to point at a new pool with the shares or minimums idea. So let's keep this idea on the table. ;D Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on September 23, 2024, 06:40:28 AM I thought you might need another miner to hit that block ;) Welcome AngryJoe,I just added a Pink Nano 3 Workername: bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.AngryJoe_Nano_01 Hashrate: 3200G Payout Address 3N3C1Cid2G3Aq9Ty51feHuSA7euLQQmT8Y i put your zwo mine in the devie type list. our actual status: Hashrate all worker: 138.772G All shares (including inactive miner / BTC Diff): 1.004.579.629.660 / 92.671.576.265.161 Our luck if we find now a block (luck = (100-(shares / diff)*100)): 98,91598% Number of worker with active hashrate >= 200G in 5m: 147 Number of worker for payout with hashrate >= 200G in 5m and 7d: 145 Best regards and happy Mining, Willi Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: PennyBit on September 23, 2024, 10:46:01 PM Hi Willie . . .
Just to let you know I added a couple of Futurebit Apollo II miners to cause. These will add a little more air to our tires (they'll show as a single miner). I may or may not add a few more of these units to this controller in the next weeks or so, but for now they should gives us a little more horsepower, eh. Also, it depends on whether or not BTC will ever get to a price that's worth me focusing my total attention back on pool mining for dust-dollars / satoshis. But for now, let's get a block! New here and wanted to learn about mining. Just got my tiny Avalon Nano 3 and wanted to join the Lottery pool as I like the idea. I just want to configurate everything correctly. In the Mining Management on the Nano 3, I have 3 settings for pools. Pool address 1: Worker 1: Password 1: (optional) Pool address 2: Worker 2: Password 2: (optional) Pool address 3: Worker 3: Password 3: (optional) As default, all of them are set to different Bariins pools. Should I change all 3 "Pool address" to the following? stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.Lulle Or something completely different? Should "Worker 1/2/3" just be my own name for the device for internal use? Sorry for very basic questions, but only way to learn :) Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: PennyBit on November 12, 2024, 08:51:54 PM Hi Willi . . . Can we use eusolo.ckpool.org for EU right now? Because after switching I don't see miner in the statistic solorun.lima.zone. So, it's only statistic question or it can affects team efforts and better wait a little bit? And, if we can use eusolo.ckpool.org, whenever you get a chance, can you please update first post with this info, it can be helpful, because ping to eusolo.ckpool.org almost three time less then to solo.ckpool.org for EU miners, what is important for solo mining Regards, Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on November 28, 2024, 08:24:33 PM Hi,

I have been working on the code for about 5 days and have now merged both pools USA and EU into one table. The table has the filter at the top again to filter by miner/worker and can now be sorted up and down with one click on each table column. My eyes are closing and I don't feel good to test today, have to sleep Check out whether the test page is OK and if everything is OK everyone has the happy choice of mining on the US or EU pool. --> https://solorun.lima.zone/all.php Feedback is welcome. But nothing will be made any prettier or more sexy, if anything then wrong, than only bugfixing. Best wishes and good night Willi Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: oeapq on December 14, 2024, 09:28:36 AM works like a charm! Well done and good rest!

Thank you for your time and efforts! One potential point for future improvement - remove duplication of workers who switched from US to EU, now we can see both - active and inactive the same worker in the table, maybe can be some filtering by active hashrate or other ideas, but if we need to keep both for some reason - it's ok (to be able to switch the same worker between pools, etc). Thanks! Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on December 14, 2024, 05:30:28 PM yes i know, the problem with the double worker, but if the ckpool will find a block or the pool will be restartet from ck, the the old worke will gone.
i have now switched also all my worker to the EU pool if someone see some problems, please let me know to have an eye on it. Best regards, willi Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: little_worker on December 15, 2024, 02:17:37 PM I got it, thank you!

mini 3 does 40 T hash and 30 T hash in low power mode. also can you explain this in more detail? If we have a block we will it see in the different topic here in our forum and the Pool Operator CK will post it on X and i have the regards in my wallet. After that i save the data from my calculation Script and will provide the reward and ask for a crosscheck from all the member and also ask for the payout address. For a new Pool Server you have to ask that in the topic of our solo Pool Operator to CK. The Shares column now also has a Percent column, which shows the proportion of all shares compared to the worker. In other words, what share it has of the whole pie. The column can also be used for sorting. Due to the newly installed EU pool server, not all shares that the worker has actually delivered are displayed, but only the share that is also displayed by the pool server. https://i.ibb.co/Z6Rd41ZH/image.png (https://ibb.co/mCrJZFxv) Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: ThatOneTwister on February 05, 2025, 11:28:51 AM Awesome work, Willi!!!

It doesn't sound like much, but we have already mined 1.7% of the diff. That is quite an achievement with the small miners that are used here in the SMALL MINER pool. Sum of all shares (including inactive miner / BTC diff): 1,941,178,137,138 / 114,167,270,716,410 Our best share ever is a remarkable 3,652,604,902,979 If chance and luck had been a little better for us, then a block could have been dropped, it was just about that. So keep your fingers crossed and happy mining, Willi Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: kano on February 24, 2025, 08:42:10 PM Alas, as I keep reminding you, that calculation is actually wrong.
So while you are saying 1.7% is good, and higher is better, it is actually quite a bit higher than that. ckpool software does not store or display the information required to calculate that correctly, so his reported blocks usually claim much better luck than it is. (not sure why anyone would be happy about that ... but anyway) As I've explained a number of times, the problem is that shares/diff must be added up per difficulty change, b ut using a total shares / current diff is far from correct. To make it clear in a valid example, if you did 1% diff for 2 weeks and difficulty was 100T, but later include that in a 110T, suddenly that 1% diff has dropped to 100/110 = 0.91% diff The % amount of work done hasn't changed, but the calculation has ignored that. To give an example that may explain it better, but not very realistic, Image diff is 100T and you do 50T work during that 2 weeks, you have now done 50% of a block work. Then say next diff, it jumps up to 125T, so at the start of that 125T diff, suddenly the amount of work you have done drops, if you calculate it incorrectly using 50/125 = 40% work But you haven't done any less work %, just the calculation is wrong. The work % value of a share, is based on the difficulty when the share was submitted, not much later when difficulty has changed. When finding a block lasts for a few weeks or months, that % difference, when calculated incorrectly, becomes very noticeable and makes the pool look like it is luckier than it is. Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on February 24, 2025, 09:14:36 PM Hi Kano,
I know it, but it is only a indicator / a number and we let it so as it is. We would not calculate a 100% number, it is only our indicator and we call it „Luck“ and we know it, if the diff. will change, than we have a drift. But as i say, it is a easy indicator. Wow a Bitaxe Ultra has cracked a block on the cksolo pool. So what can you say about that, it works as planned. Just also our plan https://mempool.space/block/000000000000000000006414aea39be567cf1d5ff6cbf2d77254fe7c714b0d81 https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qaxccz85rx6ywy2xw6ugtm6u37mvew6qqn7lgtd Code:

This is a user with multiple BitAxes, I count six, right? Really impressive. But absolutely to be expected I think. People win in lotteries and the probability for mining a block with a BitAxe is way higher than that I believe. Apparently, someone in our group is retrieving the data via a script or querying something automatically. This brings my free web space to its knees and the scripts no longer run smoothly (currently only exports are affected). Feel free to take a look at the page, but please leave the automated queries and deactivate them again.
If anyone needs data, no problem, but then get it directly from the ckpool, which is where I got it from. https://eusolo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c https://i.ibb.co/fdgVYZgq/image.png (https://ibb.co/m5jrCdjb) Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: baginek on March 26, 2025, 06:02:10 PM Hello guys, Hello Willi,

Just a quick look at the device list. Even though no one likes them, the main hashrate currently comes from the Avalon with 75 THs, followed by the LV07 with 35 THs. Everyone always says they only want open source miners, but the facts clearly speak for the best price/performance ratio. I was mining on the Willipool with a Nano 3 like several people here, the miner was purchased in January 2025, it was set to High mode and generated the expected 4 Th, the two plastic covers were removed for better cooling. It started to malfunction several weeks ago and finally stopped a few days ago. I noticed that the usb-c connector used to power it had literally melted, with traces of overheating in the connector housing on the Nano. For a device requiring only 140 W to operate at full power, I'm not sure this type of connector is the best choice. My message to all owners of these devices is to be vigilant if they're running in High H24 mode, and to check regularly that they restart without load. I'm in discussion with the retailer, a store in Paris (phew, I don't have to deal with Canaan about the warranty). Good day and good mining to all Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on May 15, 2025, 10:31:24 AM Yes i recomend the same. Put it not on the highest speed mode it will not work good for a long time.
I have it on the lowest mode and remove also the plastic plate for better cooling but i have also sometime the issue Speed Drops down, and came back only after a manual reboot. So keep your miner in your Monitoring Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: botor123 on May 16, 2025, 10:23:38 AM Hello everyone, I was mining on the Willipool with a Nano 3 like several people here, the miner was purchased in January 2025, it was set to High mode and generated the expected 4 Th, the two plastic covers were removed for better cooling. Title: Re: Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool Post by: willi9974 on May 16, 2025, 03:33:23 PM Hello all,
Due to the fact that some of our colleagues overdo it with the monitoring and call up the website several times per second or dozens of times per minute, the call parameter Workername has been deactivated. https://solorun.lima.zone/?worker=workername From now on only all miners are displayed, but can be filtered manually. I ask everyone (!!!) who wants to monitor something to read it directly from the pool page and not from the statistics page. But also on the pool page it makes no sense to read the data every second, because the data is only updated every 30-60 seconds on the solo pool page too. https://eusolo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c Otherwise it will destroy my free webspace. I don't want the whole statistics page to stop working because of one or a few users. Thank you for your understanding, this has now cost me at least 5-6 hours why the exports no longer run in the background or do not work as usual due to high usage.
