Title: is it a alternative to CEX.IO ??
Post by: -J-U-N-K-Y- on March 29, 2014, 10:47:20 AM
Hi is pbmining.com (http://pbmining.com/) a good alternative to CEX.IO ??

I don't think that this is a scam, have anyone experience with this company?

The Price is cheap, for 1Gh you have to pay 0,0075BTC

Mod note: removed affiliate link.

Lol, I just joined today and bought over 1THs.  The price is competitive with most of the 1TH miners available for preorder but you start mining right away... no waiting.

They also have a referral program.  See sig if interested.  :D

Oh, just wanted to add.  This is not a trading platform like CEX.io.  You buy your GH contract and own it it for 5 years all for just the initial fee.  No maintenance fees or other charges.

I have been using both for a while now and I can say they are both good but are not related to each other. CEX is more of an exchange where the end goal is to buy low and sell high. If you just mine at cex it will never end up well for you since the price per gh is never reasonable. I am one of the first 30 customers at pbmining and can say their prices are much more reasonable and an ROI is somewhat more attainable but you can not resell those gh. Both sites are legitimate its just up to your personal preference.

Give mine a click please if anyones buying  :)

Well now that is just rude!  I politely offered my sig first.  And I had the good sense not to use an annoying banner.   ::)
Well sorry, I didn't realise a bigshot with 1TH needed referrals, I'd to scrape up pretty much all I had to get 15GH/s.

I don't know what planet you're from that you would think 1THs is a "bigshot" in bitcoin, lol.  Regardless, it's just common etiquette not to try to poach someone's potential referral.

Now to post something relevant to the topic so my post doesn't get deleted...
The current price on PBMining is ~$3.75 per GHz.  Compare that with a BFL Jalapeņo from just a few months back and that Jalapeņo should have cost $18.75.  Shocking what a difference a few months is in the BTC world!

It's automatic every sunday night, I have been paid 4 or 5 times, you give them your wallet and it goes to your wallet.

Yes, you can invest in a real and profitable project, like the development team of this coin (BTL) announced:

I do cloudhashing with CEX.IO. It's been about four months and I don't worry about being goxxed by them any time soon.
I see other website with cloudhasing options, but I can't really trust them. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not against them. It's just I don't have enough confidence with them as I have with CEX.IO.

Hi guys, just wanted to stop by in this thread to let you know about a Derivative product I run called BDD - the Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative.

One of its components, B.MINE (https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=B.MINE), acts as a 5GH/s miner and makes daily payouts based on about what a 5GH/s miner would mine in a day. You can trade it just like a stock on the exchange, just like CEX.io. However, there are no other fees because the shares are backed by formula, not actual hardware. This means no variance and no electricity bills  :)

Currently, CEX.io runs at about .0094 BTC for 1GH/s; B.MINE runs at about .00572 BTC per GH/s (about 40% cheaper per GH/s!) - B.MINE is sold in 5GH/s shares, however.

I've never really mentioned or 'promoted' B.MINE outside of the Securities subforum, partially because it's part of a larger set of Securities that are all linked together. B.SELL (https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=B.SELL), which is B.MINE's counterpart, actually allows people to bet that B.MINE is overvalued on the market. I highly recommend reading up on BDD if you do consider purchasing any shares, as there are some key differences between BDD and CEX.io.

So, thanks for reading - if you have any questions please feel free to stop by the BDD Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=430137.0) or shoot me a PM.

Happy trading-
