Title: Swapping on some blockchain is too expensive
Post by: Eldestyoung on December 22, 2023, 10:06:25 PM
I don't know why it is too expensive to swap on some blockchain especially eth blockchain

Can someone educate me or kindly recommend me one that is less expensive or where I can easily swap to web3 token without paying so much fees

You can use optimism/polygon/bsc/celo/base, significantly cheaper than ethereum and you will find most ethereum based dapps there but If you have token on ethereum, you can only swap it on ethereum.

This directly concerns the chain inwhich you are working on. If you have transactions to carry out on the Ethereum blockchain then, you are compelled to carry out the swap on the eth chain without the need for an alternative consideration but if what you want to swap exists on multiple chains then it is ideal that you check through the chains that exits with a much lesser fees and swap it.

If you have option on chains to use the you can consider TRX,POLYGON,CELO,ROSE,EOS,  etc. A whole lot of them exists

The cheapest fees you can find on second-layer solutions such as POLYGON, or you can use a different blockchain such as BSC, and you will inevitably find WTOKENS on that blockchain, but they have additional risks, so I advise you to use POLYGON, as it is safer.
Transaction fees on Thurn are high, and other networks like EOS do not have quite the same development capacity as ETH.
