Hi forum members, I am new here in this great platform. I want you to guide me on the way to go about the forum, the rules and regulations, the dos and donts, the rewards and penalties. Am equally new to cryptocurrency matters but I have keen interest to learn. Please assist me in any way you can, either through materials, documents etc.

I believe you have already received some links that should help you understand how the forum works and also get you started in your crypto journey but one thing I want to talk on is “plagiarism” because that’s what makes a lot of newbies with potential end their stay here in the forum.

Here in Bitcointalk, plagiarism is rewarded with a ban, and once banned you are not allowed to come back to the forum with a different account unless they want to appeal their already ban account; so to avoid any of the forum drama just make sure not to copy someone else’s content and pass it as your own with giving credit to where you copied it from.

The first thing you need to do is read several threads that have been pinned on the Beginners & Help Board, you will find a lot of knowledge and ways to become a good user on the forum. Since everyone has given you the links about the good resources that you can refer about the laws of the forum and almost everything that you need to know. And as I quote these two, first, about the rewards. Are you thinking of the monetary reward? Well, first of all, the great reward that you'll be getting here is the knowledge that is being shared by many great forum members and that's already a good reward for a newbie like you. Every topic that's inside Bitcoin, altcoins and blockchain as well are here so that's one reward that I can tell you. And about penalties, you do something against a forum you might get a first offense, second or so but if your violation is too much, you'll get permanent ban.

You can enter different places in this forum, and by looking at the posts of different senior, legend brothers, you will understand how you can advance in this forum. And you can also learn about Bitcoin where you can learn a lot. The more education you acquire, the more knowledge you can acquire. You should pay attention to this topic and read the quality and informative discussions carefully.

I can assist you by telling you not to trust anyone who wants to assist you personally in your PM. Do not trust anyone who offers to help you buy bitcoins in your PM because even though this forum is trusted, not all the members of this forum are trusted. As you try to learn about bitcoins, maybe you can find out the correct way to invest and safe your bitcoins now, while you are learning too. There is a halving next year, you will like to profit from that too, and you can if you use strategy of buying bitcoins weekly or monthly with any free money you can spare.

You don't need any type of material or documentation, but a learning mind that is eager to learn new things and explore new things without doing the work first. The big mistake we all make is that we start the work by creating posts or making new topics on a new forum about which we know nothing, but instead of asking others, we should at least give a few minutes to our minds and think that we gave ourselves some time to learn about this forum.

welcome to the forum. I just want to know what makes you interested in Bitcoin. So maybe other members can advise you to go to certain boards so that you can read more specifically about your interests.
Several links have been shared with you, they can be your first reference in getting started. but if you are still having trouble, maybe you can go to a local board, find active members there, and ask about your needs. I'm sure people on local boards will be willing to help you by sharing the information you are looking for.

Actually there are no special tips. We just need to be users who obey the rules. And because this is a fairly active discussion forum. Then you just need to get used to being involved in discussions. But before that you have to be a good reader.

You can start exploring every board that catches your attention. And before you decide to create a topic or intend to reply to a topic, you must first look at each thread pinned at the top of the board on the first page of course. Usually these are the rules regarding the forum and especially for the board you are visiting. Read it, understand it and obey it. Well, that's simple. What makes it not simple is when new users are very lazy to read. Well they won't progress quickly if they are lazy about reading. Because being lazy about reading is the same as being lazy about adding insight. So avoid being lazy and be someone who diligently reads and adds insight and shares with all users here.

I'm also newbie in this forum and your post useful to other newbies.Lots of questions answers already known by the forum senior members and also legendary too that's why many silly questions don't need to ask repitedly.

Well I don't know if someone linked you to this place or you find it yourself but if you find it yourself I won't blame you for asking but if it's someone that actually linked you here and you are asking this question I will blame the both of you because he is suppose to put you through on the basics here. However, the first time you signed up here, instead of posting why didn't you go through some post I believe you would've seen this same post and I believe you would've also seen answers and links to guide you.

how about you stop bumping threads that have been inactive for several months? this is the 8th time that you have done this today. another member has already called you out earlier on another post that you made on an inactive thread that you bumped.

I know you will start studying all those links, they have send to you in this trend because they will guide you all through, if you can spend much time on them to achieve the knowledge that is keeping some members in this forum to grow higher to impact newbies to grow too in the  forum.

Don't allow anybody to deceive you that there is a shortcut, where you can grow immediately without the knowledge of BTC or crypto because there are some things that will make people to know that you have learned from books or this forum, when you start displaying quality post in some section in the forum.

If you don't want to end up in a half way in this forum, don't joke with the rules that governed the forum because the members are not bigger than any rules in this forum, and if you disobey any rules in the forum, you will surely receive the punishment.

I have to tell you is that you should make sure that you study across the boards so that you can be able to understand the rudement of the platform many people today does not show a concern to know the rudiments of the platform, so for me I will advice you to make sure you have understand how to make research and also engage to read the existing things of the platform

First I most say you're highly welcome to this platform, I think the first thing you need to do as a newbie is to read the rules and regulations that is governing this forum, but come to think of this, if you're New in this platform and you don't know how to go about the forum, and also you don't know the dos and donts unlike as you said earlier, then how can you possibly create a topic when you don't have any idea about the forum?

You're welcome to bitcointalk forum mate I think my fellow members have already said it all by showing you so many links that would help you to understand more about the forum, However my advice to you is to go going through the previous threads of our high rank members and do more by reading their post because by doing that we make you to acquire more knowledge as long as you are in this forum and before you know it you will start making quality post, because one thing you most know about the forum for you to grow and explore is being active and don't forget to ask questions if you are finding anything difficult in this forum.

Well I think they have already given you all the possible advice available so it's now left for you to try and make things work out really well and how do you that ? Well for starters reading extensively can go a long way because that's what you would be given back to the community here which all what you have learnt, so many people just jump into discussion and thread without properly having the right initiative to it.
