Who else invested in Dascoin which some scammers promoted as the next Bitcoin ;D ;D ;D . I was stupid to accept their lies those days. I was new to Crypto I had no idea

Haven't heard of this shitcoin before and to claim that they're going to be the next bitcoin is such a preposterous thing to do especially with not a lot of people that knows about them. It's unfortunate that you've lost your money investing on their fake promises, not the ideal way to learn about scams and that there's a lot of too good to be true cryptocurrency out there but it's bound to happen to anyone somewhere along their crypto adventures anyway.

You're not alone in this experience OP but this should be a lesson to you to stick to bitcoin and other crypto that's going to stand the test of time and hopefully it's your last mistake, don't hesitate to ask questions here before doing any kind investment on some unknown cryptocurrency if you just can't help not sticking to bitcoin for investment.

Under this theory, many coins have come into the market that were supposed to compete with and surpass Bitcoin, but no one got success. The people who launch coin in the market promote like this, they never tell you the truth, this is how they lure people. Such people fool us by tempting us in various ways.You are new and have no knowledge about the cryptocurrency market so you are easily fooled,but in such cases, sometimes even experienced people lose.

However, this advice to all people is to never buy any token on the advice of others, rather your own research and study is very important. Your story is no different from the ones of many forum members who have fallen for these scam projects that promises to give you 100× ROI, but they never live up to their promises. I'm glad that you've learned your lesson to beware of new projects that have not been tested in the cryptocurrency market, I was shocked when I learned about the number of shitcoins that are created everyday, it's a free market, so you'll except the good and the bad to be coming up with their own coins. I always advice to stick to Bitcoin and top altcoins, no matter how the market trends, they'll always remain relevant and profitable. Investing in new altcoins is a gamble, what you see is what you get, most times it's loses than profits.

We should to make thorough research before finaly agreeing on some news and decisions in the space, no everyone have the ability to scale out the legit or inappropriate projects, but we should be able to dwell on good decisions that will shoots our portfolio to the very top. Bitcoin ranked top, no matter the existence of altcoins in the system. You're a newbie to crypto, it's understandable but been in a desperate position to invest is definitely weigh out of line, there are common projects that doesn't suits our standards and the newbies becomes preys and victims of these scams. Cryptocurrency is risky, we just have to become more careful.

Supprised where you all that get scammed always sees this new coins to invest in. I have not heard about it as much as many people here say the same. It will be very wise of you to learn from your mistake and not let it happen for the second time.
The market is beginning to get bull and we will see and are still yet to see new projects coming out to contest for investors who would invest in them but just 1% out of 100% could keep to demand.

The first step you should have observed as being scam is comparing to Bitcoin, everyone should know by now it is not possible to overthrow Bitcoin as the father of every cryptocurrencies. Let's say you were still new as per falling for their  tricks by now you should know more about hype and trend this is how they make people invest in their shitcoins

Just learn from it. Whoever tells that they are the next big thing and will be able to become the next Bitcoin, you now have an idea that they're all lying. It's because that no matter how hard they try to manipulate their own project, there's no project that will come next as the 'next' Bitcoin. Many have done that in the past for so many times but none of them became victorious about it. That's because bitcoin is superior and will never be replaced even by the top altcoins that we have now.

It appears you are a newbie here, and I think the narrative of replacing bitcoin is outdated and untrue. It is very important to learn how to research a project, especially the team, the partner, and the case studies. Do not invest if any member of the team has a criminal record; there are many more low-risk opportunities out there

The concept of the project is a scam to me, ehh next to Bitcoin?  Sounds not good.
This isn't new in most scam projects, we heard a lot of projects trying to be next to Bitcoin but they end up crashing bringing investors money.

Now you've realized that no one can replace Bitcoin, you should give full support to that coin, not those shitcoins.

At some point, someone need to learn their lesson because with such lesson, they will now be cautious of their next investment.
Such claim have been said countless times before. But I do understand that they can still victimize newbies in this market.
But at least, now that the OP is here, he can learn a lot in this forum and hopefully, won't fall anymore from these fraudsters.
This is the reason why a lot have negative perception on this market, because once they got burned by scammers, they will say that crypto is fraud, but it is not. It is the people who are fraud not the technology itself. Thus, creating a misconception on this market.

you feel cheated because of your own stupidity, even though everyone knows that there will be no altcoin that will be equivalent to bitcoin. I still wonder why there are still people who are fooled by such lies. This is like the PI coin case, PI coin influencers say that PI coin will beat bitcoin  ;D ;D ;D

It is not necessary to express harsh opinions on the mistakes of others, it is also a lesson for many people about seriously researching the field in which they intend to find opportunities. I know that it is easy for new people to be psychologically manipulated with empty words, greed makes us easily lose our sanity, and it seems that most of us are stuck in it, just whether challenges come later or later, stumbling and overcoming them helps us grow more. As you mentioned PI, it is really exposing the face of Ponzi with myths that make many people laugh. After all, it is fairness in all fields and those mistakes are the responsibility of the individual must take responsibility for their own actions.

Never heard of this coin which probably is a sign in itself already i know we want to look for a coin that has not yet been known by a lot and we want to be the first ones to buy in its very low price i always say that if a coin claims to be the next bitcoin it’s usually a big red flag

it sucks that you had to experience it firsthand but at least now you have learned something do not believe newly launched coins if they are promising way too unrealistic things such as being the next bitcoin

this is the first time i have heard this shitcoin and the funny thing is saying that he will be next bitcoin. but on average most of the scam projects usually say that they are revolutionary, the next bitcoin, go to moon, and many other spectacular words, but the fact is that it is only a waste project promoted by the scammers.

Your story reminds me of one of mine where I invested a few thousand dollars after seeing an investor video about it. It went down so big that i lost almost all of my funds. The reason behind that massive dump was the team's failure to deliver the product. The most ridiculous part is that the project still exit but they rebranded it, and i am still following the influencers. All of these bad memories remind us of our mistake and not to repeat it again. I wants to keep that incident only as an education lesson.

Oh, these scam projects bring so much pain and demotivation in our business. This project passed me by, but I know very well how expensive trust in such false projects is. The most important thing is not to despair after failure, this experience will help you in the future. Failures only strengthen our understanding of how the cryptocurrency business works. And the scammers will pay for their lies, it is very difficult to come out of such a story clean.

Keep in mind one thing. There is no one coin which can beat Bitcoin or even can compete with Bitcoin. There are many older and good projects they are trying much and they achieved many goals but if they want to over cross the Bitcoin so this is not possible and they can never compete with Bitcoin.
And about your shitcoin (Dascoin) I never heard about this coin and never invested. I mostly believe in Bitcoin. Because If I believe in Bitcoin so I know it will give me huge profit in coming days.

Never heard about this coin, did some digging and found that it was launched in 2017. It had the element of MLM in it which is a big red flag for any project. Therefore it is always advised to do research before investing funds in any crypto project. There are many shit coins that are coming out right now and with the hype added to it, investors fall for projects that do not have any future. Hype is good but not all projects with hype make it to the top.

It's no surprise on why a lot of us in the room never heard of this coin, because there are tons of cryptos that are already been created, and there are new breeds that came out every single day. With those numbers, not all are given a chance to be on the spot light. But, it does not mean that they are now bad.

It still takes some investigation and if we feel that the coin has a potential, we and other users might start checking it out. And that would be the start of its growth, and it can later become popular. The only thing that we don't like is when they use the term " the next Bitcoin " and there are also some who honours them selves as the " Bitcoin killer ". This is a bad marketing stunt, as it can turn off a lot of investors.

This is an old strategy from the scammer as they claimed to be the next big coin and yet their platform didn’t have that kind of technology to be on top. You have to be more observant and know how to do some research before investing. Never heard about this project and if they hyped it that much, for sure they are in a rush to leave the market and scam people, don’t invest easily and learn from this mistake.

It was in 2017, Bitcoin had not reputation like it has now, So situation is different.  those scammers told that Dascoin will surpass Bitcoin. We fooled enough to accept it.

Thank goodness you're aware of that. Anyway, keep in mind, if there is a new coin that says that it is the next Bitcoin, or the next Ethereum, or even promises extraordinary promises, it is definitely a scam. So never believe in such new projects. Especially hype coins and meme coins. Actually quite concerned about this, and this is quite a valuable lesson for OP and also for all of us.

No any coin can take the place of bitcoin and if someone is claiming that new arising coins like dascoin will achieve the target like Bitcoin they they are totally scammers because if Ethereum is a unable to take the place of bitcoin even it is the second largest token in the Crypto world so I don't think that any new coin can take the place of bitcoin.
May be some future attains the successful path in future but they cannot be so successful to leave bitcoin behind in rate of success therefore don't be too fool to trust anyone as scammers are everywhere these days. I think if you are interested in investment then don't forget about bitcoin first and then keep eye on another successful coins but avoid new arising shit coins as more as you can.

Saying that they are next bitcoin is enough proof that that project is/was an obvious scam. but as you said you were new to crypto so it is not really your fault. these kind of scam projects use these tempting strategy to fool new people like you to invest in their project.
that is why so many people in this thread saying they've never heard of that project including myself. because their motive is itself enough for someone with common knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto to realize how shady and suspicious that project is.

A lot of shitcoins are currently being created in the market and people are losing a lot of money investing in them. Dascoin is not a good coin to invest in it is basically made to scam all the time. Nowadays, most altcoins are scams, so invest carefully so as not to lose your money. You should never invest in all these scam coins, instead you can invest in bitcoin if you want it is risk-free.

Well "experience is the best teacher", you have experienced it so nobody will come and tell you all coins are good. Personally you will tell the person that not all coins are good to invest. And in this board we have discussed many times the things to determine fake altcoins. Before you invest in any coin, you have to look or check the community strength of the community, check the market progressive status and and who are the representatives of the coin in the forum and their reputation.

Don't just invest in a project because of the way the author present it and with the sweet mouth. Scammers always use sweet or interesting words to lure people to accept their projects.

How can you immediately recognize this coin?  Did you get references from other people, so you decided to invest in it without having to research in more detail how this project actually works?  because after all, every fraudulent project will take advantage of other people's ignorance to deceive you with promises of unreasonable profits.  Therefore, be careful next time when you want to invest again

My dear coin investment needs a very big research before someone can invest in bitcoin some times some people doesn't investigate properly before cryptocurrency investment, so I believe that cryptocurrency investment is something we know quite well that without proper research you can venture into wrong kind of cryptocurrency investment, so we can make proper inquiry before you can invest so that it will not land you into scam promoting coins

I haven't heard of such altcoins before. Since Bitcoin has a very good reputation, most people will want to use it as an example to advertise their scam projects. I know of some friends that believe in online mining of new project, and they'll always tell you "this time coin will grow to the level of Bitcoin, and then Bitcoin will now have a competitor" anytime I hear things like this, I burst into laugh because there is no coin that can compete with Bitcoin without dropping down after few months. We should be careful with the kind of news we believe.

The usual newbie mistake. Most newbies in the market make the mistake of investing in projects and tokens without having enough knowledge which is a big mistake. You are not supposed to start making investments right after getting into the market, get yourself ready first, gain some knowledge, do some reading so that you understand how things work, and when you think you are ready and you understand what's wrong and what's right in the market, that's when you should make investment decisions.

There are hundreds of such projects created, promoted, and then rug pulled and gone. You can't just invest in any coin or token that is being promoted as the next Bitcoin or next ETH or anything. They associate their tokens with famous cryptocurrencies only to lure investors in so that they can get more money.
