Title: Passwords for Fake wallets
Post by: whanau on December 28, 2023, 02:30:00 AM
I would like to compile a list of passwords used for the fake wallets on page 1 of this thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242967.0

Why? to have an exclusion list so that every time a new wallet appears it can be checked against the list.
(if one happens to be your real password you might want to change it!)

Here are some I know:-

mypassword
kingsman
Hunnibear9
Abcde12345
31247590635abe
12aVP18cd5XsbcGQy8u6eywQ6UuA6Q319s (more than 1 wallet)
1111 (more than 1 wallet)
1

I will leave you the fun of matching them to the wallet.
If  you don't want to leave them here you can PM me.

They are fake wallets anyway, so this is a waste of time  :D

No scammer is ever going to sell you a real password to a real wallet file the contains some Bitcoins. The whole point is to fool you into buying a wallet that has nothing lol.

Such list is useless, i'm pretty sure its part of a bigger passwords dictionary already and won't help anything to solve a lock wallet since those wallets are fake. If you're going to suggest a password list, it should be bigger than 1000 lists.

It is already money if it is for real and why would someone is going to sell it and won't just secure it right?
I agree with the folks above that these scammers are just trying to fetch some gullible people that still believe with this trick. Stop watching those deep web scams and contents because you are their prey and they are the predator that are just patiently waiting for a blind believer to take their footsteps on their set trap.

/.../

Such a list would be as useless as counting grains of sand on a beach. There are simply too many fake wallets out there, and too many possible passwords for one person to compile a comprehensive list.  Even if you compiled a list, it would be outdated within a matter of minutes.

to be hacked, the hacker needs the wallet file + the password, and if he does not know the password, he will not risk guessing it, especially with the possibility of sending your coins at any time.
Therefore, as long as you have access to the seeds and store them well, it is better for the password to be very long and unique. Using common words means that you are leaving your money outside your home.
