2023 was a standout year for Bitcoin. The asset is up more than 150% year-on-year in US dollar terms.

But beyond just the price, there were a number of significant developments that affected Bitcoin in historic ways. This year has seen epic banking collapses, fake news scandals, record high hashrates, rising transaction fees, new accounting rules, the election of a pro-bitcoin president in South America, and further confirmation that bitcoin mining is beneficial to the environment.

And we will wait for the bitcoin halving in April 2024, we are currently in the halving year just waiting for time now.

Im feeling hopeful about crypto this year.  I know the markets been rocky and all, but I just got this feeling that this is gonna be our year. Like maybe Bitcoin will finally hit that 100k mark.  Or maybe those altcoins we have been hodling will moon.  :D Heck, maybe 2024 will take crypto fully mainstream.  Who knows! But Im excited to take the ride with you all and see what happens.

Congratulations to everyone of us who made it to the new year, we had a better experience with Bitcoin and the forum throughout last year and all these are what we cannot hesitate on for being what we were all being made of, this forum is a home for every bitcoiner a d we never take it for granted, also as well with Bitcoin, we are going to have the best blast on Bitcoin market price when we hear about the news on Bitcoin ETF approval if granted and then the Bitcoin halving coming on the way, this two major events alone were a good start to raise hopes on for the beginning of the year about Bitcoin.
