Title: Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations
Post by: Rating Place on January 04, 2024, 05:31:56 PM
I thought it may be a good idea to have a thread sorted just for casino and sportsbook accusations. I'm sure there are mistakes so could definitely use help if you see something. I'll try to clean things up in table format as time permits. There's no judgement on if the accusation is true or false. That's up to the posters. When something goes up in the main accusation thread it'll be brought here too.

All accusations including those not concerning casinos https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Title: Re: Complete list of Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations
Post by: vennali on January 05, 2024, 12:18:59 AM
It's a lot of work, but I appreciate your efforts in maintaining and updating the list. For others, remember that an accusation is not a proof of guilt. Be alert and careful when dealing with such cases. There are some dishonest casinos and sportsbooks out there, but there are also some customers who try to cheat and complain when they get caught. They try to damage the reputation of the casino or sportsbook unfairly.

Also, I see a few names here and there just randomly thrown in without any accusations. What's up with that? Why keep them on when there are 0 accusations? Is it because they have been getting frequent accusations in the past?

Nice job here mate ,  that is a long list and needs a lot of updating so Hopefully that you can manage to maintain this though it will took a long time from here because there will surely another one to come in the near time and another one will go .
because scam is scam and they will continue to exist .

Thanks for compiling this detailed list; and for your effort in gathering and organizing this information. This will help users especially the gamblers to stay informed.
I hope the affected parties can find resolutions to their problems. Transparency in the online gambling industry is crucial, and your initiative contributes to fostering that transparency.

I brought the names over from my other thread but it does save space to delete. Later on I'll collect all with ANN threads and just post on the bottom those without accusations. Nice work with your sportsbook thread. Some great information.

Nice job here mate ,  that is a long list and needs a lot of updating so Hopefully that you can manage to maintain this though it will took a long time from here because there will surely another one to come in the near time and another one will go .
because scam is scam and they will continue to exist .

Definitely hope I'm not adding too many. The scams are awful for the community.

Best of luck with your efforts to keep the community informed and safe!
Thanks for the kind words. Transparency is definitely important.

You must have done a whole lot of research to compile this list to this point and I believe you are still doing more to update it because I believe this is just the ones you could easily access but however, I commend your efforts as it would guide both old and new members to check out for credible and reliable casinos to get involved with so as not to have any unforseen issues in the nearest future.

I wish you could also include a link to their review so that people or members here could know what other gamblers are talking about them. Seeing and hearing from other people's experiences about the casinos as listed could also validate the results of scam accusations here as well. You have done a good work by putting this up here.

The good thing about this list is we see that most sites are interested in solving accusations against them, gives me a better feeling that a casino is legit when they want to make sure they keep a good reputation. Not all accusations are going to be marked as resolved either, as not all accusations are legit. If a casino provides sufficient evidence that an accusation is false, you should consider some sort of closing for that accusation. Something like proven false or scammer or resolved guy was a scammer.

There are a few casino's on that list that are trying to solve those accusations. This list is indeed a great effort by the OP, it would have taken a lot of time to compile the list of accusations. Not an easy tak and thanks OP for coming up with this topic, it will help the gamblers from the forum who are using those casinos to identify an issue. If in case they come with a problem similar to the ones listed they know how to find the solution.

I think it is a good idea to have a summarized look at all the accusations that are lodged against the casinos in one place, because people will have a one stop glance on what is going on in the casinos as a whole.

This should also be placed in the gambling discussion section and not hidden away under the scam accusation section, where there are much less traffic and activity.

Thank you for the effort that you put in to gather all this information.

Great work OP, with this list of casinos that you have compiled based on their scam accusation here in the forum. You did the right thing, so that when newbies want to select a reputable casino that they will register with, they can see it from here and choose the casino that is with good reputation. Any dispute that have been solved shouldn't reflect on the list. One problem that I think is those gamblers that are trying to cheat the casino and turn around to accuse the casino of scam, how will one know who is telling the truth and how will such dispute be solved.

I think that's a great idea.  Having some kind of collective thread where folks can view accusations of dodgy behavior by casinos and sports books could really be useful.  Seems to me something that way could make it all less messy and more above board.
Great work OP, I hope you keep the thread going.

Take a look at this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466258.msg62993162#msg62993162. There's no formal scam accusation in that subforum, but the issue is laid out pretty clearly.

there is a link after the complaint. Did you want me to add something else such as ANN thread?

I totally agree that there can be false complaints. I don't want to be the one that decides if it's a false claim but if a book offers binding arbitrage to a site that does it, then I'll mark as resolved.

It is great the casinos that work with players. We can also put pressure on casinos to try and resolve complaints.

This a is a really good resource, and thanks to the op for coming up with such a brilliant idea, having all the scam accusations against casinos on this forum in one special thread is very helpful, atleast from here, we can easily keep track of special accusation to know if and when they are resolved.

I just hope that you will be most very active both on the gambling/gambling discussions board, as well as the scam and accusation and reputation board - this are places where some users, especially newbies who aren't very conversant with the forum yet, posts scam accusations.
So, hope you will be active enough to always keep the thread updated at all times.

What a big list that means a lot of hard work just to collect this info on scam accusation thread. I really like how it’s sort alphabetically to easily find the casino.

I think it will be better if you will add separator line on each category to easily distinguish the info per casino. Also you can make the URL shorter by embedding the Link to a shorter text to make it not overwhelming on your table. Lastly, add the status of the case. Anyway nice compilation.

Well done. You did hard work and I assume you needed a few days to make this topic ready. Thanks for your efforts.

I have two suggestions to make this topic much more effective.

1. Let's change the thread design like this-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381143.0, hopefully, this will make a better visualization.
2. I agree with Yahoo, let's do more investigation and read every scam accusation and mark also which one is legit or false.

Many user that post outside gambling board will suggest this to be move on reputation board but as a regular gambler that typically hangout here then I really preferred to put it here since most of the gambler browse here over the reputation board.

This thread is vital easily view all the pending cases in the casino that has ANN thread here. I admit that I’m too lazy just to sort out all the scam accusation in the reputation board because most of the thread in there has no basis or useless.

1xbit accusation count are pretty low but I'm sure that there are so many out there, most of it are on their ANN thread.

Though there is some accusation that are falsely claimed or invalid on the eyes of viewers like this one.

First, I believe you meant 1xbit and not 1xbet, for 1xbet does not have any official Announcement thread on this forum, and neither do they have any official representative here, this actually does not mean that gamblers can not start accusations against them on this forum, but there is possibly no way we would know if and when the accusation is resolved.

And coming back to the casino I believe you meant which is 1xbit, do take note of the date, that the accusation posted by op is from January 1st, 2023 to yesterday being the 5th of January 2024, 1xbit stopped being active on this forum for more than half of 2023 if am not mistaken, and since they were no longer actively advertising on this forum, accusation against them stopped coming in, which is the reason for the seemingly low number of scam accusations against them on this thread.

I believe that if op was to go back in time like from 2021 and 2022 when they were still actively advertising here, there would a lot.

Amazing and good work for making it for the community. It will serve as a nice reference for some purposes.

Totally agree especially the popular big sites involved. It's really good to see those sites resolving issues in public as everyone can follow and monitor what's going on. Resolving issues also contribute to establishing a site's reputation. It's a Big + to the community as trust is hard to build.

We are seeing alot of positvities from some of the casinos who have taken steps to rewrite the wrong by solving some and most of the accusations against them and we can see that development from the thread updates.

Definitely seems the accuser is at fault on a lot of these. I don't want to make the call on if it's reolved but if 3 or 4 people go in there and say they accuser is at fault without anyone supporting the accuser, then I think it should be marked resolved.

@sujonali1819 how did you create the table. The last one I did took me all day so there must be an easier way.

Here is an example. You can keep continuing like this. Just copy and paste the 4th tr and start inserting the data from your thread. I have just added the table header as my own. You can customize it as you feel better. Let me know if you face any issue.

Platform|Date Created|Amount Scammed|Link|Resolved ?(Y/N)
1xbit|6/19/2023|30.69 mBTC|1XBIT SCAMMED for 30.69mBTC (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456882.msg62429198#msg62429198)|No

It's not a perfect fit for the Scam Accusations board either because this isn't an accusation against anyone. It's just a compilation of scam accusation topics that were present in that board throughout last year with no other references, comments, or proof. But using that logic, it's also not a perfect fit for the Reputation board.

@sujonali1819 how did you create the table. The last one I did took me all day so there must be an easier way.
Creating a table from scratch is a lot of work and requires constant editing and tweaking. It's easier to just copy the code and table format from a post you like and then change the text accordingly. As you know, I have several threads with tables. As someone mentioned, so does Mahdirakib. Just look through those topics, find a format you like, and copy its code.

I agree that it should fit better in reputation board. I nearly made one myself back when BC had a piling case against them [now resolved], I even already drafted the table, and intended to make it as an ever-growing and constantly-updated thread about active and past cases, but didn't go with it as BC began to attending to their cases and I got myself focused on those. And then I forgot about the draft, LOL.

May I suggest to add title to the thread instead of just link? People who usually overseeing accusation threads are most likely more familiar with the name of the thread instead of the thread ID and link. This way, we can help informing you which cases are valid and open, which ones are empty accusation, and which ones are soved.

And on that topic, I peeked into some of the threads on your list and noticed that half of them are not even valid anymore, given the OP of the threads barely update their thread, probably either because it's solved or they mada false accusations, some also had been ruled out by third party arbitrators as resolved.

I will like to see someone is following the above cases against Rollbit and keeping the table updated.

Excellent work Peeps Place.

We definitely need to watch Rollbit. There are too many cases building up against them.

@Pmalek @sujonali1819 @holydarkness  thanks for the input. I'll put the table up next week to see what you guys think.

I will like to see someone is following the above cases against Rollbit and keeping the table updated.

Excellent work Peeps Place.

Lemme try to weed these out, sort the ones that's still active from the ones that's resolved and the ones that --I think-- not or no longer applicable due to the lack of supporting evidence or the OP no longer active. I think it'll be a quick rework, given I think I am quite familiar with most of their previous cases.

My draft for that thread I mentioned on the previous post looks like this, if you want to copy them, [I edited the status so it'll better reflect the current situation].

You're more than welcome to use that template above. It might looks headache inducing at first look, but you'll get the grasp of it when you start adding entries to the template. The table "coding" was a bit overwhelming for me the first time I began composing that draft too, but then I got into the pattern.

I think it's essential to add the complainant's name in the list so when it grow, we can easily see who open dozens of cases and what happened [whether their case are valid, extortionist, repetitively made unsubstantiated accusations, etc.]

Edit: LMAO, I am not sure why the left-most column was so narrow when it's posted and resuting in the text being stacked. Given I never get past "preview" phase, I didn't know it'll look like that. The previewed draft looks kinda nice.

Edit 2: Nope, I gave up, trying several things to fix it and it still didn't work. I am not sure what I did wrong that it got stacked like that, I am resetting it back to my original draft. Anyone can give input what I did wrong? The one in my preview page looks nice enough,

I can see that there are people here who are much more qualified than I am to run this type of thread. Would someone want to use the data that I posted and run their own thread? Then I'll lock this one up.

I spend my most of my time at BCT studying the sportsboooks and feel much more confident that I can do a productive job for the community in that arena.

How about putting different reasons in the status part? The user '-god-' has come with an invalid complaint where he is guilty for the inconvenience. The accusations can be marked as "resolved, invalid, neutral, unresolved" based on the evidences, response from the casino, activity of the OP, etc.

I think I can manage the list by making an appropriate table format, but it will take a bit long time to do that. And I won't be able to do this now as I'm busy in real life. I can do it in the next month when I will have enough free time. Otherwise, 'Pmalek' can also do it in a better way if he has the time to do it now.

BitcoinGirl.Club, if I may color code the cases based on my very personal opinion, with the criteria as below,

Would you be so kind and tell me what I did wrong?

How about putting different reasons in the status part? The user '-god-' has come with an invalid complaint where he is guilty for the inconvenience. The accusations can be marked as "resolved, invalid, neutral, unresolved" based on the evidences, response from the casino, activity of the OP, etc.

This is a good idea. I  can agree that, at times, cases are not black and white, it's not as simple as active and resolved. Just so it happens, I tried the same approach as you proposed when I started my summary above, with "inactive" and "not applicable" marked in orange. I think your proposed "neutral" is the equivalent of my "open" [marked in blue]. Although I am still torn whether we should mark the ones I color-coded in orange as strikedthrough [thus, considered solved] or not.

1The OP shared majority of the blame because he deliberately waited 1 year to do AML level KYC. Part of 2nd layer of AML by casino is to return the verified fund to the originating address [in OP's case, FTX's address]. Razer offered to "compensate" the lost fund by hiring the OP of that thread in their campaign once he can wear signature.

2 The accuser was the same as the one raising a thread on case number #2, given he returned to SB 7 months later [4th May and then 5th November] I think it's safe to say his earlier case [the one on 4th May] got resolved or having similar outcome, which encourage him to stay with SB

That's great stuff. I think you should take the project over. It may be best to start a new thread.

Seems like it is getting narrowed when the long texts are in the first column. I just put another column before it to find the solution, I also put the 'vertical line' (|) symbol between other column to give it a better look.

Maybe the status of the accusations with different colour is enough to know the situation. The strikethrough will give the table a messy look.

You are pretty much active in the scam accusation section. Maybe you should try to finalize this topic with a better table format.

LMAO, let me sleep over it for a few days? That post I made above took about four hours to edit the link and get a quick refresher course. I probably will, given I've planned about it before, but let me mull over it for a while, given I probably have to re-sweep several pages of the accusation boards to check if the list provided here covers everything [if my memory serves me right, I think some cases are not mentioned here] I can't imagine how many hours will be spent on it.

Ahh... thank you. I'll most likely use this format fixed by you if I take over the list from OP. And yes, the strikethrough will be completely abandoned when the list are displayed on table.

To help out some, if an accusation was made in 2022 and is still ongoing, then it was omitted. Original accusation date of Jan 1, 2023 or after are included. Only accusations in this sub-forum are included. If made in an ANN thread and not included in the Scam Accusation forum, then it’s not included.

Thanks for including my thread. I wasn't scammed but Rollbit Razer just simply does not care one bit. I lost an estimated $7k due to all this, ($5k at the time but crypto inflated) But apparently it had to be done as part of their policies which can't be argued i guess.

The Rollbit community is great, and the staff team I had were mostly fine for the past couple of years other than this one loser(not razer but some regular staff) who decided to strip away 2 years of my time and contributions to the community at Rollbit's Discord server because of the website ban(I gambled a couple of times with small amounts using their rollbit.com domain instead of sticking with rollbot.com which doesn't allow any gambling and oh by the way there are literal fake rollbit websites when you search rollbot.com too), even though a staff member right before him told me I was allowed to stay (I'm either reading it wrong or they can't get their own decisions straight)

Back when all this initially happened I remember responding to him and he immediately puts another staff member to deal with it. Since this is the start, I thought it was just some mere coincidence, e.g maybe he was busy and I didn't think of it much.

Overtime, I've later learned to realize just how much he just does not give a fuck about what happens. I also thought he was caring about people at first due to the fact that he often responds here to "help" people out, but I later realized that this could all just to potentially save face to Rollbit's reputation.  If he did truly care he would've provided actual advice on my thread or wished he knew anything to help rather than continuously giving out half assed responses that he seemingly sends out with the same tone and semi cut and paste replies to almost every other thread complaining about Rollbit. It is clear that he hasn't fully read my thread and his response of telling me to go and contact the company was already addressed long before his reply. However, he did at least explain why he sent my funds to the last depositing wallet without any prior notice saying it was a standard practice, which is fair. But after all going through all this then I remember viewing his replies too to other people, Razer literally acts like an NPC on the forums, just look at his replies, they are all literally identical other than to the situation I haven't checked in like 2 months now but I remember just being sick at how much his replies felt nearly the same to everyone and thinking "what the fuck man?".

I just want you all to know that Rollbit Razer DOES NOT TRULY CARE. In all fairness I've noticed some of these threads were from people who did illegally gain their money or were involved in much more serious stuff pending investigation but still what the hell.

As 'Peeps Place' has suggested above, you may ignore those cases which are too old and inactive. There are also some accusation where the complainant disappeared after creating the accusation thread without providing any proofs. Those accusations can be ignored in the list. Otherwise, the list will be too big with some inaccurate complainants.

Hi, I'm composing the draft for the new thread right now. Given the huge amount of list and that I have to open each of the threads [and at least glance over them], and that I am doing it on my free time, it might take few days to be completed.

Even weeks wouldn't be surprising. I'll just keep posting updates in the mean time until you clean everything up. Sometime when things are bumped it gets lost in the shuffle.

This will be much appreciated. I was going to ask you for this, but I thought I can post the draft with current point I am at and update them daily as I progressed, reserving one or two posts for future updates, and let people post update of new cases on post number 4 and below... or I can just re-track the accusation board.

But surely keeping this one open and updated for the time being will be a better solution. I promise I won't be long. LOL.

How much time do you guys give a casino to complete KYC verification before considering it too long? Normally I've been giving casinos a week or two depending on what's all involved. After that I hold it against them as far as ratings.

Hi, yes. I've seen it, although I haven't give the thread a thorough read. The case with that OP always needs err... a great amount of coffee due to his writing style.

Shouldn't this be asked on a gambling board? I believe there are threads on that board that's covering about KYC

just saw that thread and from the looks of it the issue has already been solved and OP has been paid.

the OP of that thread needs to drink some chill pill the dude is losing it.

a month just in case the casino faces some issues when trying to verify the gambler's KYC, though two weeks(a week even) should be more than enough to verify someone's KYC.

LMAO, that's just his... writing preferences. He did the same when he had a situation with BC a while back that made me a bit reluctant to help with his case. On his previous case, several trusted members even tried to tell him to refrain from those caps. You're still encouraged to approach his future case with good amount of coffee and meditation, though.

And yes, it's closed, OP locked his thread with the final conclusion as it's paid. I'll still add his case to the list for the record.

The new thread, List Scam Accusation Cases Against Casino Platform on The Forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5481683.0), is on. I publish it on reputation board because I think it fits there better, being a topic for casinos' "reputation" rather than an accusation against them.

I previously left out betby as they'ra a provider and, being an only case, they fit nowhere on the table. But with above post about Spribe, I'll now make a section about provider, moving this case of Orbital (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5478417.0) into it and change the status accordingly.

You can lock this thread if you want to.
