That's not the question here. I want to know if there's some reason it won't work on Nicehash anymore. I have one I'm not using, and thought I'd put it on Nicehash again just to make a few Satoshis, but it constantly fails the benchmark tests, so I can't mine with it. Drivers aren't an issue, these 1060s I have used to work fine, but a year or so later and I can't get it mining.
And if a 1060 3GB is now unusable on Nicehash, what sort of GPU do I need? A 3060? And how much RAM is the minimum these days? Title: Re: Can you still run a 1060 3GB on Nicehash? You might find it's a better idea to just buy Bitcoin. However, I'm still amazed that I'm able to run a few 1080ti's profitably. Partially thanks to solar energy and partially thanks to living somewhere with dirt cheap electricity. If you find yourself in a similar position and need the heat this time of year it could be worth it to run, but make sure you know what bet you're making and that you have a path to making a profit. Unless you're cold, then run that bad boy.

Nowadays you need to have more knowledge and capabilities in mining if you want to earn money rather than passive income of a few cents a day from one old video card. |
